Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our president and leaders. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.

It is in this that the mystery of the Mother consists. The Church, which looks to her with altogether special love and hope, wishes to make this mystery her own in an ever deeper manner...

“The Father’s eternal love, which has been manifested in the history of mankind through the Son whom the Father gave... comes close to each of us through this Mother and thus takes on tokens that are of more easy understanding and access by each person.” 3

Joyful Mysteries

The Annunciation

1. Luke 1: 26-38

In the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a town in Galilee called Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man named Joseph, of the House of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary. He went in and said to her, ‘Rejoice, you who enjoy God’s favour! The Lord is with you.’ She was deeply disturbed by these words and asked herself what this greeting could mean, but the angel said to her, ‘Mary, do not be afraid; you have won God’s favour. Look! You are to conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you must name him Jesus. He will be great and will be called Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his ancestor David; he will rule over the House of Jacob for ever and his reign will have no end.’ Mary said to the angel, ‘But how can this come about, since I have no knowledge of man?’ The angel answered, ‘The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will cover you with its shadow. And so the child will be holy and will be called Son of God. And I tell you this too: your cousin Elizabeth also, in her old age, has conceived a son, and she whom people called barren is now in her sixth month, for nothing is impossible to God.’ Mary said, ‘You see before you the Lord’s servant, let it happen to me as you have said.’ And the angel left her. 

2. Love gives.

3. Mary: What love a father and mother have for a child. God
the Father, the most loving of all Fathers, how He loves His
children to send His Son, Jesus, the Savior/Redeemer.

4. Mary: Love gives. Love does not hold back. It fills the heart and
wants to pour out endless blessings, endless gifts of love.

5. God is love. We do not comprehend fully the ways of
God. Our life is a journey of learning about God, hence it is a
journey to learn how to love, love God and love each other.

6. God loves perfectly. His love is so far beyond our human
comprehension. Our life is to learn how to love more perfectly
like our Father in heaven.

7. Mary’s heart is pure and sinless. She loves. Mary was
conceived sinless.

8. Jesus is the New Adam.
    Mary is the New Eve.

9. God the Father said Mary was a gift He
gave us.
Jesus gave us His Mother on the cross.
Mary is the Spouse of the Holy Spirit.

        The Holy Spirit

Jesus: "My beloved friend, tell My people to pray daily to the Holy Spirit. They are to pray for an increase in His gifts. My people must realize that the Holy Spirit comes to transform them. The Spirit desires to transform you more and more according to My image. Those who are docile to His touch become increasingly shaped in My likeness. He performs this marvel within Mary's Immaculate Heart. The more one dwells in My Mother's Heart, the more active are the workings of the Spirit. The Spirit leads Mary to place you within My own Heart. In both Our Hearts, then, your transformation continues. The more you are formed after My own Heart, the more I lead you to the bosom of My Father. Tell My people all this. Tell them to pray daily for a greater appreciation of these wondrous gifts. I am Lord and Master. All who come to My Heart will be on fire to receive the gifts of the Spirit in ever greater measure! I love and bless My people!"

Reflection: The Holy Spirit is given to us to fashion us ever more according to the likeness of Jesus. And the more we are like Jesus, the more Jesus leads us to the Father. Do we, each day, pray to the Holy Spirit to be more open to His transforming influence? Do we strive each day to grow in union with Mary? The greater our union with our Mother, the spouse of the Holy Spirit, the greater is the transforming action of the Holy Spirit within us.

 

The Visitation

1. Mary went to visit her cousin Elizabeth.

2. Luke 1: 46-55

And Mary said:

My soul proclaims
    the greatness of the Lord
and my spirit rejoices
    in God my Saviour;
because he has looked upon
    the humiliation of his servant.
Yes, from now onwards
    all generations will call me blessed,
for the Almighty
    has done great things for me.
Holy is his name,
and his faithful love extends age after age
    to those who fear him.
He has used the power of his arm,
he has routed the arrogant of heart.
He has pulled down princes
    from their thrones
        and raised high the lowly.
He has filled the starving with good things,
    sent the rich away empty.
He has come to the help
    of Israel his servant,
        mindful of his faithful love
—according to the promise
    he made to our ancestors—
of his mercy to Abraham
    and to his descendants for ever.

3. R. And so Mary appeared at Fatima and she warned men that they must heed her words. In her Immaculate Heart they can unite deeply in the Heart of Christ. Mary is the gateway to intimacy with the Trinity, and she said: “You must come to my heart. You must make reparation for blasphemies against my Immaculate Heart. You must make reparation to the Heart of my Son, for the offenses against God.”

4. The light shown in the darkness and the star was the brightest star over the bed of Our Savior. No longer would a nation walk in darkness.

6. 1 Corinthians 15:20-28

In fact, however, Christ has been raised from the dead, as the first-fruits of all who have fallen asleep. As it was by one man that death came, so through one man has come the resurrection of the dead. Just as all die in Adam, so in Christ all will be brought to life; but all of them in their proper order: Christ the first-fruits, and next, at his coming, those who belong to him. After that will come the end, when he will hand over the kingdom to God the Father, having abolished every principality, every ruling force and power. For he is to be king until he has made his enemies his footstool, and the last of the enemies to be done away with is death, for he has put all things under his feet. But when it is said everything is subjected, this obviously cannot include the One who subjected everything to him. When everything has been subjected to him, then the Son himself will be subjected to the One who has subjected everything to him, so that God may be all in all.

7. Mary's Message from the Rosary of August 27, 1996

Mary:  I stood beneath the cross of my Son, and my Heart was in such pain for I saw Him before my eyes. I saw Him covered with blood. I saw Him die. My Heart, my children, my Heart to watch my Son, but my Heart, my Heart, how I suffered for my little children of the world that give in to this world and give up the love of my Son. O my little children of light, I give you this message. Carry this light into the darkness for your Mother Mary, for I stood beneath the cross and I cried. I cried for the little ones. I cried for the young ones, the ones that do not care and will lose their souls. How do I make you see for you will not listen to me? What can I do? I come. I appear. I beg. I plead. I give you these gifts from my Son, and you reject me. I do not deliver messages very often anymore for I have been ignored. The message is the same. You do not read the messages I have given to you. Please help me. Help the little children. I appear. I appear. I appear, and I am ignored. I stood beneath the cross, and I cried. I cried, and my Heart was in such anguish for my little children, for I am searching for them this day as I searched for the Child Jesus. Please, please help me. I cannot hold back the hand of my Son any longer. I am Mary, your Mother. I ask you to help my children. You are my children of light.

9. The most precious gift we celebrate Jesus coming to the earth, Our Savior.

10. Jesus wants our love. He is love. He gives Himself to us in the Eucharist and He is treated with indifference. He is not loved by many. He is alive, He is a Person. He is treated as a cold, dead object by many. He is the divine God that remains with us in the Holy Eucharist. He outpours His divine life to us when we sit before the tabernacle. He is moved from many altars and hidden in a corner.

 

The Birth of Jesus

1. Luke 2: 8-14

In the countryside close by there were shepherds out in the fields keeping guard over their sheep during the watches of the night. An angel of the Lord stood over them and the glory of the Lord shone round them. They were terrified, but the angel said, ‘Do not be afraid. Look, I bring you news of great joy, a joy to be shared by the whole people. Today in the town of David a Saviour has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord. And here is a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger.’ And all at once with the angel there was a great throng of the hosts of heaven, praising God with the words:

    Glory to God in the highest heaven,

2. R. Is this not what He showed us in His life - compliance to the Father’s will? Is this not what Mary showed us in her life - compliance to the will of God?

3. There will be one flock and one Shepherd. There is one family. It is the Family of God.     The King will Reign on His throne. Men will make Jesus King and Center of their hearts – The story is the story of love. God’s love for us. He gives us Himself. This is our unifying factor. God loves sinful men. He gives us the pure and Immaculate One whereby we can unite in deepest union with Him. We are sinners. Mary is Our Mother. God is Our Father. Jesus is our Brother, our Friend, our Lover, the Son of God. Jesus comes into this world and He took on flesh. Jesus is the Savior of the world.

4. The key is, “Thy Kingdom Come, Thy will be done on Earth as it is in heaven.”

5. It is easy. It is simple. Man wants his own way. There is only one way - it is the will of God. It is the will of the Father, our Heavenly Father, Jesus is the Son. Jesus says - “I am the way, the truth and the life.” (John 14:16) The Holy Spirit molds us more and more in the image of God!

    It is so simple. It is love. God shares with us the mystery of God’s love in the Mass.

6. God is the powerhouse. He gives Himself to us in the Mass and the grace and mercy flow and we are one with Him and one with others in the Mass.

7. God is Love! It is so simple. We are creatures of love. We were created for love. Love is the answer to the bleeding hearts, the greatest gift being the gift of Himself, given to man in the Mass, through the hands of the consecrated Priest.

8. God is love. The most perfect prayer – the Mass. We unite to God in this most intimate act of love where we praise, honor, adore Him, petition Him, make reparation and thank Him for His gifts, given to us.

9. How great was the act of love, God gave to this world, when He gave Himself and died on the cross. He gives Himself to us this day in the Holy Eucharist.

10. The greatest commandment is that we must love God with our whole heart, our whole soul, and our whole being. This is a commandment. If we are to enter heaven, we must follow the commandments. They are commands given by God for us to follow.

 

The Presentation in Temple

1. Luke 2: 25-35

Now in Jerusalem there was a man named Simeon. He was an upright and devout man; he looked forward to the restoration of Israel and the Holy Spirit rested on him. It had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not see death until he had set eyes on the Christ of the Lord. Prompted by the Spirit he came to the Temple; and when the parents brought in the child Jesus to do for him what the Law required, he took him into his arms and blessed God; and he said:

    Now, Master, you are letting 
        your servant go in peace 
    as you promised; 
    for my eyes have seen the salvation 
    which you have made ready 
        in the sight of the nations; 
    a light of revelation for the gentiles 
    and glory for your people Israel.

As the child’s father and mother were wondering at the things that were being said about him, Simeon blessed them and said to Mary his mother, ‘Look, he is destined for the fall and for the rise of many in Israel, destined to be a sign that is opposed—and a sword will pierce your soul too — so that the secret thoughts of many may be laid bare.'   

2. The greatest act we can do on this earth is an act of loving God. The reason for our existence is to love God. In the sacrament of His greatest love, He gives Himself to us. This is an act of love on His part. We are called to respond by giving ourselves in love to Him.

3. R. A little baby came into this world, the Almighty God took on a human form, was conceived in the womb of a human person and He came to give us His life. Jesus came, Jesus came to give us a sharing in His life. Men will see the light as they have never seen it before in this great era of peace. And it is coming and He has told us what we must do in order to bring it about.

5. Mary put all this in her heart.

6. Mary suffered.
    The devotion to the Seven
    Sorrows of Mary is powerful.

7. The Seven Sorrows are:

(1) The prophecy of Simeon
(2) The flight into Egypt
(3) The loss of the Child Jesus in the temple
(4) Jesus and Mary meet on the way to the cross
(5) Jesus dies on the cross
(6) Jesus is taken down from the cross and laid in Mary's arms
(7) The burial of Jesus

8. Mary said: I am the Immaculate Mary.

9. Act of consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus

Lord Jesus, Chief Shepherd of the flock, I consecrate myself to Your most Sacred Heart. From Your pierced Heart the Church was born, the Church You have called me, as a member of Shepherds of Christ Associates, to serve in a most special way. You reveal Your Heart as a symbol of Your love in all its aspects, including Your most special love for me, whom You have chosen as Your companion in this most important work. Help me to always love You in return. Help me to give myself entirely to You. Help me always to pour out my life in love of God and neighbor! Heart of Jesus, I place my trust in You!

10. Act of Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary

Dear Blessed Virgin Mary, I consecrate myself to your maternal and Immaculate Heart, this Heart which is symbol of your life of love. You are the Mother of my Savior. You are also my Mother. You love me with a most special love as a member of Shepherds of Christ Associates, a movement created by your Son as a powerful instrument for the renewal of the Church and the world. In a return of love, I give myself entirely to your motherly love and protection. You followed Jesus perfectly. You are His first and perfect disciple. Teach me to imitate you in the putting on of Christ. Be my motherly intercessor so that, through your Immaculate Heart, I may be guided to an ever closer union with the pierced Heart of Jesus, Chief Shepherd of the flock.

 

The Finding of Jesus in the Temple

1. Luke 2: 48-52

They were overcome when they saw him, and his mother said to him, ‘My child, why have you done this to us? See how worried your father and I have been, looking for you.’ He replied, ‘Why were you looking for me? Did you not know that I must be in my Father’s house?’ But they did not understand what he meant. He went down with them then and came to Nazareth and lived under their authority. His mother stored up all these things in her heart. And Jesus increased in wisdom, in stature, and in favour with God and with people.

    us.
3. God sent His Mother, the
    Mother of our Christ life,
    Mary is the new Eve.
4. In the Litany of the Blessed
    Virgin Mary, Mary is called
    “Mother of Divine Grace”.
5. Mary wants us to reach her
    children.
6. We must pray for the world.
7. Mary knew suffering, she
    tells us to reach her children.
8. Some of Mary’s children
    are lost, away from Jesus.
