Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our president and leaders. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.

R. Mary rocked the little baby
in her arms, Jesus the Savior
of the world.

Baby Jesus came to save a big
world.

R. Jesus carried the heavy cross
to the hill of Calvary and
mounted it for our sins.

The cross was laden with sins
of hatred, pride, anger, and abuse,
and gentle Jesus carried all
those sins, so we can be forgiven.

Surrender, Jesus says, surrender,
make reparation for your sins.

Jesus: I am love, I loved you to
My death on the cross. I am pure
and gentle and kind in heart.
I love you, My precious one, I
died for your sins.

Suffering you offer up and endure
properly, united to Me, can help
you grow in greater intimacy with
Me.

I am your Savior, I am who am.

John 3:16

For this is how God loved the world:
he gave his only Son,
so that everyone who believes in him 
    may not perish
but may have eternal life.
 

R. Love gives for the good of
the other.
Jesus died and in those last
moments on the cross we learn
lessons of Divine love.

As Jesus died He forgave
the good thief while Jesus,
Himself, was being horrifically
tortured
to death.

Jesus gave us Mary our Mother,
Jesus taught us about love.

Jesus taught us terrific lessons
of Divine love as He died on
the cross.

Can we follow Him?
Can we love like Him to those
who are unloving to us?

Jesus showed us how to love!!

God is with us, now!!

Even in suffering, We go into
His Heart of love and take
refuge there.

They spit on Jesus, whipped Him,
crowned Him with thorns, nailed
Him to the cross and He took all
their torture, because He loves
us so much!!

I think how Jesus took their
ugly treatment and did not
fight back.
The innocent Lamb, led to the
slaughter.

Literally hit on the head,
crowned with thorns,
bloodied eyes, ears, teeth in
His tongue, He didn’t fight back.
 

Sorrowful Mysteries

The Agony in the Garden

1. Mark 14: 32-44

They came to a plot of land called Gethsemane, and he said to his disciples, ‘Stay here while I pray.’ Then he took Peter and James and John with him. And he began to feel terror and anguish. And he said to them, ‘My soul is sorrowful to the point of death. Wait here, and stay awake.’ And going on a little further he threw himself on the ground and prayed that, if it were possible, this hour might pass him by. ‘Abba,  Father!’ he said, ‘For you everything is possible. Take this cup away from me. But let it be as you, not I, would have it.’ He came back and found them sleeping, and he said to Peter, ‘Simon, are you asleep? Had you not the strength to stay awake one hour? Stay awake and pray not to be put to the test. The spirit is willing enough, but human nature is weak.’ Again he went away and prayed, saying the same words. And once more he came back and found them sleeping, their eyes were so heavy; and they could find no answer for him. He came back a third time and said to them, ‘You can sleep on now and have your rest. It is all over. The hour has come. Now the Son of man is to be betrayed into the hands of sinners. Get up! Let us go! My betrayer is not far away.’

And at once, while he was still speaking, Judas, one of the Twelve, came up and with him a number of men armed with swords and clubs, sent by the chief priests and the scribes and the elders. Now the traitor had arranged a signal with them saying, ‘The one I kiss, he is the man. Arrest him, and see he is well guarded when you lead him away.’

2. God gives us the greatest
commandment.

3. Matthew 22: 36-40

'Master, which is the greatest commandment of the Law?' Jesus said to him, 'You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and the first commandment. The second resembles it: You must love your neighbour as yourself. On these two commandments hang the whole Law, and the Prophets too.'

4. Jesus: I call you to love God
    and love others as yourself.
5. Jesus saw all the sins of men
    for all time in the Garden.
6. Jesus sweat blood.
7. The Apostles slept.
8. Jesus went to them 3 times
    and they slept.
9. The power is in the Eucharist.
10. Jesus is truly present in His
    Divinity and humanity in the
    Holy Eucharist.

 

The Scourging at the Pillar

1. Matthew 27: 24-26

Then Pilate saw that he was making no impression, that in fact a riot was imminent. So he took some water, washed his hands in front of the crowd and said, ‘I am innocent of this man’s blood. It is your concern.’ And the people, every one of them, shouted back, ‘Let his blood be on us and on our children!’ Then he released Barabbas for them. After having Jesus scourged he handed him over to be crucified.

2. Jesus was whipped at the
    pillar, for our sins.
3. The men who beat Jesus
    were cruel.
4. They tore Jesus’ flesh.
5. They beat Him raw.
6. Jesus shed His precious
    blood for our sins.
7. When we suffer we can
    look at the body of Jesus,
    beaten.
8. Jesus was covered with
    blood.
9. We must stop offending
    God.

    Life is short. Consecrate your
    hearts to Jesus and Mary.

 

The Crowning with Thorns

1. Matthew 27: 27-31

Then the governor’s soldiers took Jesus with them into the Praetorium and collected the whole cohort round him. And they stripped him and put a scarlet cloak round him, and having twisted some thorns into a crown they put this on his head and placed a reed in his right hand. To make fun of him they knelt to him saying, ‘Hail, king of the Jews!’ And they spat on him and took the reed and struck him on the head with it. And when they had finished making fun of him, they took off the cloak and dressed him in his own clothes and led him away to crucifixion.

2. Building the Kingdom of
    God is living the Pascal
    Mystery of death / resurrection.
3. Jesus didn’t wear a gold
    crown, He wore a crown
    of thorns.
4. We walk next to Jesus in the
    hills and valleys of life.
    Sometimes wearing a crown
    of thorns, or a cross,
    identifying with Jesus, our
    brother, our teacher, our
    friend.
5. Keeping our eyes focused on
    Jesus, always, loving God,
    obeying the Father’s will is
    how we help build the
    Kingdom of God.
6. It is a gift to spend quiet
    time with Jesus.
7. We are like children, listening,
    true disciples.
    Jesus dressed in red, we are
    sitting under Him, little children,
    ready to listen.

8. At the Transfiguration, God
    the Father said: “This is My
    beloved Son, in whom I am
    well pleased, listen to Him.”
9. Disciples of Jesus, listen to
    Him.

The Carrying of the Cross

1. Luke 23:26-31

As they were leading him away they seized on a man, Simon from Cyrene, who was coming in from the country, and made him shoulder the cross and carry it behind Jesus. Large numbers of people followed him, and women too, who mourned and lamented for him. But Jesus turned to them and said, ‘Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for me; weep rather for yourselves and for your children. For look, the days are surely coming when people will say, "Blessed are those who are barren, the wombs that have never borne children, the breasts that have never suckled!" Then they will begin to say to the mountains, "Fall on us!"; to the hills, "Cover us!" For if this is what is done to green wood, what will be done when the wood is dry?'

2. Jesus walked the walk with
    the heavy cross on His back.
3. Jesus loves us so much.
4. Jesus saw His Mother on the
    way of the cross.

5. Jesus: I was condemned to death, death on a cross. They gave Me a big cross and made Me carry it. They stood around and glared at Me. It weighed on My shoulder and I pulled at it until it finally moved. Every step was almost impossible as I dragged it, weighing so heavily on My shoulders.

6. Jesus: My shoulder felt as if the bones inside would crack and the cross would fall through to the ground. I couldn’t drag it any more. I tried, I fell. I fell and its weight fell on Me. A guard hit Me with something sharp.

7. Jesus: It really hurt because he wanted Me to move, and fast! People were watching — on with the show! How dare I fall in the middle of the show! He hit Me again and the blow really stung Me. I got up because it hurt so badly. I tried to walk on.

8. Jesus: My Mother was in the crowd. She looked at Me and her face looked red and hurt. Tears rolled down her cheeks like rain and as her eyes met Mine, I was hurt so by her sorrow! She was always by My side, silent and loving. She was My Mother of love! She is always there next to you when you suffer.

9. Jesus: I fell again and he (the guard) really hit Me. It (the cross) was so heavy that he and I together could barely move it. It seemed as I walked, heavier with the sins of the world heaped on it. My hands were bleeding.

10. Jesus: Blood ran from the wounds of My thorns and My head throbbed, seeming to make the wounds in My head bleed even more. Some of the Blood was dried, some of it running all over My Body. I had so many cuts and bruises — and people watched and laughed!

The Crucifixion

1 Jesus: I am Jesus, Son of the Living God, and they laughed and mimicked Me! Oh, such hardened hearts! How vile can men’s hearts become? The devil’s grip is paralyzing and crippling.

2. Jesus: The walk was so long up a hill and over rocks — the cross had to be lifted over the rocks. My Body was bleeding so badly! My Heart was pounding. I knew that the salvation of all men depended on My love. Therefore, I went through such agony.

3. Jesus: I thought of My intense love for you — that many would go to heaven because of My suffering — and I continued to the top of the hill. At the top they laid Me on the cross and with a big hammer nailed My hands to it.

4. Jesus: It was the worst (suffering) yet. My hands were nailed with big nails and the big hammer. Then, as if that weren’t enough, with a big nail they nailed through both feet.

5. Jesus: Then they lifted the cross and banged it into (a hole in) the ground. My shoulders ached from how I hung. My head bobbed and My neck ached and they laughed and said, "Now save Yourself." I hurt so much! I suffered this way for hours — which seemed like forever — and they glared at Me and laughed! My Mother watched in such agony.

6. Jesus: For love of you, to My death I gave you My Body. My child, I shed My Blood and gave you My life that you might be with Me forever in heaven — not for a day, a month or a year, but forever with Me in heaven.

7. Jesus: I am the true Bread come down from heaven. He who eats My Flesh will have life forever. For the drink I give you is My Blood and food you eat is My Body. Who would lay down his life for a friend?

8. Jesus: I did, for you. I love you this much, child. Forget about those who reject you. You have My life that I gave you and I give you life eternal.

9. Jesus: I am the One true God. I am the Light of life. He who abides in Me will have life eternal, for the drink I give is My Blood and the food I give is My Body. Drink and eat and have everlasting life.

10. Jesus: My child, that is all you need to know. Love one another and be good that you may enter into My Kingdom.
