Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our president and leaders. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.

We give our heart to her
Immaculate Heart and ask her
to place our children and
grandchildren in her Immaculate
Heart.
Mary, our Mother, help us.

The Church is Mother, she is
there for us, we are so blessed
by the Church, the sacraments,
the priests,
help us now.

For this is how God loved the world:

R. Jesus gave His all on the cross.
The Divine gift.
Jesus gives us Himself in the
Eucharist.

God loves us, He wants to give
us eternal, everlasting love.

We die to our selfish ways to
live more likened to Jesus.

Jesus came and He gave
Himself in love on the cross,
for our sins.

Jesus laid down His life for us!!
The cross shows us the love
Jesus gave for us, love beyond
our understanding, even.

Love gives for the good of the
other.
In love we want that person to
be all that God wants them to be.
So we see there is not jealousy,
anger, pride, envy, if one is
growing in love.

In love, God wants the will of
the Heavenly Father.

Jesus so perfectly gave Himself
in doing the Father's will.
The gift of self on the cross in
love,
Jesus shows us how
we are to love God and others,
loving takes giving,
loving takes surrender,
loving takes sacrifice,
loving is putting God first
before ourselves,
before our self-centered will.

Jesus knew His Passion and death
in the Garden and in His love
for us He said "yes".

Christ gave Himself, spotless,
to the Father on the cross.
Sacrifice.

The Mass is the Sacrifice of
Calvary, sacramentally made
present.

A Prayer before the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass

    Let me be a holy sacrifice and unite with God in the sacrament of His greatest love.

    I want to be one in Him in this act of love, where He gives Himself to me and I give myself as a sacrifice to Him. Let me be a holy sacrifice as I become one with Him in this my act of greatest love to Him.

    Let me unite with Him more, that I may more deeply love Him. May I help make reparation to His adorable Heart and the heart of His Mother, Mary. With greatest love, I offer myself to You and pray that You will accept my sacrifice of greatest love. I give myself to You and unite in Your gift of Yourself to me. Come and possess my soul.

    Cleanse me, strengthen me, heal me. Dear Holy Spirit act in the heart of Mary to make me more and more like Jesus.

    Father, I offer this my sacrifice, myself united to Jesus in the Holy Spirit to You. Help me to love God more deeply in this act of my greatest love.

    Give me the grace to grow in my knowledge, love and service of You and for this to be my greatest participation in the Mass. Give me the greatest graces to love You so deeply in this Mass, You who are so worthy of my love.

Sorrowful Mysteries

The Agony in the Garden

1. Luke 22: 39-46

The Mount of Olives

He then left to make his way as usual to the Mount of Olives, with the disciples following. When he reached the place he said to them, ‘Pray not to be put to the test.’

    Then he withdrew from them, about a stone’s throw away, and knelt down and prayed. ‘Father,’ he said, ‘if you are willing, take this cup away from me. Nevertheless, let your will be done, not mine.’ Then an angel appeared to him, coming from heaven to give him strength. In his anguish he prayed even more earnestly, and his sweat fell to the ground like great drops of blood. When he rose from prayer he went to the disciples and found them sleeping for sheer grief. And he said to them, ‘Why are you asleep? Get up and pray not to be put to the test.’

2. Jesus loves us so much He said
    “yes” to the torture about to
    come in His passion and death.
3. Jesus’ love for us is beyond
    our understanding.
4. Jesus endured it all for love.
5. Jesus: Oh Beloved ones, I
    endured all this because I
    love you.
6. Jesus: I want a relationship
    with you.
7. Jesus: My Heart beats for
    love of you.
8. Jesus: I give you My on-fire-love.
9. Jesus: I want you to talk to Me.
10. Jesus: Give yourself in love
    to God, do not fear.

 

The Scourging at the Pillar

1. Matthew 27: 24-26

Then Pilate saw that he was making no impression, that in fact a riot was imminent. So he took some water, washed his hands in front of the crowd and said, ‘I am innocent of this man’s blood. It is your concern.’ And the people, every one of them, shouted back, ‘Let his blood be on us and on our children!’ Then he released Barabbas for them. After having Jesus scourged he handed him over to be crucified.

2. They beat Jesus’ flesh, raw,
    for the sins of the flesh.
3. Jesus was bound at the pillar,
    they tore His flesh.
4. Jesus: My thoughts were of
    you, My precious child. I love
    you so much.
5. Jesus: Love is sacrifice, I gave
    Myself for you.
6. Jesus: Pray to know My love.
7. Jesus: I gave Myself for you.
8. Jesus: Love gives for the good
    of the other.
9. Jesus: Love helps the other to
    be what God wants them to be.
10. Jesus: Love is not jealous or
    prideful, angry and punishing.

 

The Crowning with Thorns

1. Matthew 27: 27-31

Then the governor’s soldiers took Jesus with them into the Praetorium and collected the whole cohort round him. And they stripped him and put a scarlet cloak round him, and having twisted some thorns into a crown they put this on his head and placed a reed in his right hand. To make fun of him they knelt to him saying, ‘Hail, king of the Jews!’ And they spat on him and took the reed and struck him on the head with it. And when they had finished making fun of him, they took off the cloak and dressed him in his own clothes and led him away to crucifixion.

2. They pounded thorns in Jesus'
    head.
3. Jesus' head bled the saving blood
    for us.
4. Blood came from His thorns,
    down His face, in His eyes and
    ears.
5. Jesus’ teeth went into His tongue.
6. Can you imagine the pain in His
    mouth?
7. Jesus endured the bitter Passion.
8. Jesus was spit on and mocked.
9. Sing: Crown Him with Many Crowns
10. Jesus is the Light of the world.

 

The Carrying of the Cross

1. Luke 23:26-31

As they were leading him away they seized on a man, Simon from Cyrene, who was coming in from the country, and made him shoulder the cross and carry it behind Jesus. Large numbers of people followed him, and women too, who mourned and lamented for him. But Jesus turned to them and said, ‘Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for me; weep rather for yourselves and for your children. For look, the days are surely coming when people will say, "Blessed are those who are barren, the wombs that have never borne children, the breasts that have never suckled!" Then they will begin to say to the mountains, "Fall on us!"; to the hills, "Cover us!" For if this is what is done to green wood, what will be done when the wood is dry?'

2. Jesus' legs were so sore.
3. Jesus fell 3 times.
4. Jesus fell under the weight
    of the cross.
5. Simon of Cyrene helped Jesus
    carry the cross.
6. Jesus could barely get up.
7. Sing: Lord Let me Walk
8. Sing: We Walk by Faith
9. This endurance by Jesus,
    shows us His love.

10. Prayer for Union with Jesus

Come to me, Lord, and possess my soul. Come into my heart and permeate my soul. Help me to sit in silence with You and let You work in my heart.

    I am Yours to possess. I am Yours to use. I want to be selfless and only exist in You. Help me to spoon out all that is me and be an empty vessel ready to be filled by You. Help me to die to myself and live only for You. Use me as You will. Let me never draw my attention back to myself. I only want to operate as You do, dwelling within me.

    I am Yours, Lord. I want to have my life in You. I want to do the will of the Father. Give me the strength to put aside the world and let You operate my very being. Help me to act as You desire. Strengthen me against the distractions of the devil to take me from Your work.

    When I worry, I have taken my focus off of You and placed it on myself. Help me not to give in to the promptings of others to change what in my heart You are making very clear to me. I worship You, I adore You and I love You. Come and dwell in me now.

The Crucifixion

1. Matthew 27: 35-44

When they had finished crucifying him they shared out his clothing by casting lots, and then sat down and stayed there keeping guard over him. 

    Above his head was placed the charge against him; it read: ‘This is Jesus, the King of the Jews.’ Then two bandits were crucified with him, one on the right and one on the left.

The crucified Jesus is mocked

The passers–by jeered at him; they shook their heads and said, ‘So you would destroy the Temple and in three days rebuild it! Then save yourself if you are God’s son and come down from the cross!’ The chief priests with the scribes and elders mocked him in the same way, with the words, ‘He saved others; he cannot save himself. He is the king of Israel; let him come down from the cross now, and we will believe in him. He has put his trust in God; now let God rescue him if he wants him. For he did say, "I am God’s son." ’ Even the bandits who were crucified with him taunted him in the same way.

2. Prayer of St Ignatius

Soul of Christ, sanctify me
Body of Christ, save me
Blood of Christ, inebriate me
Water from the side of Christ wash me
Passion of Christ, strengthen me
O good Jesus, hear me
Within Thy wounds hide me
Permit me not to be separated from Thee
From the wicked foe defend me

3. Jesus loved us to His death
    on the cross.

4. Mary's Message from the Rosary of August 27, 1996

Mary:  I stood beneath the cross of my Son, and my Heart was in such pain for I saw Him before my eyes. I saw Him covered with blood. I saw Him die. My Heart, my children, my Heart to watch my Son, but my Heart, my Heart, how I suffered for my little children of the world that give in to this world and give up the love of my Son. O my little children of light, I give you this message. Carry this light into the darkness for your Mother Mary, for I stood beneath the cross and I cried. I cried for the little ones. I cried for the young ones, the ones that do not care and will lose their souls. How do I make you see for you will not listen to me? What can I do? I come. I appear. I beg. I plead. I give you these gifts from my Son, and you reject me. I do not deliver messages very often anymore for I have been ignored. The message is the same. You do not read the messages I have given to you. Please help me. Help the little children. I appear. I appear. I appear, and I am ignored. I stood beneath the cross, and I cried. I cried, and my Heart was in such anguish for my little children, for I am searching for them this day as I searched for the Child Jesus. Please, please help me. I cannot hold back the hand of my Son any longer. I am Mary, your Mother. I ask you to help my children. You are my children of light.

7. Jesus' last moments on the
    cross was spent in giving
    Himself for us.
8. Jesus gave the last beat of
    His Heart and the last drop
    of His Blood.

9. He was beaten, bloodied,
    and crowned with thorns.
    He hung on a cross. His
    hands were nailed to the
    cross. His feet were nailed.
    His greatest agony was not
    His wounds, but His aching
    Heart because He loves us
    so much and is forgotten
    and ignored.

10. Jesus wants us to look at
    the cross and to see Him
    with His arms outstretched
    and the nails in His hands.
    Jesus gave His all because
    He loved us so much.
