Mysteries of Light

                        Baptism of Jesus

1.   Matthew 3: 13-17

Then Jesus appeared: he came from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptised by John. John tried to dissuade him, with the words, ‘It is I who need baptism from you, and yet you come to me!’ But Jesus replied, ‘Leave it like this for the time being; it is fitting that we should, in this way, do all that uprightness demands.’ Then John gave in to him. 

    And when Jesus had been baptised he at once came up from the water, and suddenly the heavens opened and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and coming down on him. And suddenly there was a voice from heaven, ‘This is my Son, the Beloved; my favour rests on him.’

2. Jesus cloths us with His light.

3. Jesus, outpour Your grace on us.

4. How would it be without any light?

5. What if all the lights were gone and
        we were in darkness?

6. What if there was not the light
        from light bulbs?

7. What if there was not light from candles?

8. What if the sun and moon did
        not give us light?

9. God gives us a sharing in His life at
        baptism.

10. Our Church is so important to us.
        Jesus is the New Adam.

Marriage at Cana

1. Jesus performed a miracle at Cana.

2. Look at all the gifts we get every second.

3. We breathe air.

4. We have water.

5. We are given the priest.

6. Look at what a gift it is to have the sacraments.

7. We have the sacraments of baptism and the
        Holy Eucharist and confession and marriage
        and confirmation and the anointing of the
        sick and ordination.

8. God loves us so much He remains with us
        this day truly present in the Eucharist.

9. Jesus is the Light of the world.

10. I long for God to outpour His grace on me.

Kingdom of God

1. God is our Father.

2. We are God's children.

3. Jesus is our King.

4. Jesus wants us to recognize
        Him as our King.

5. Our time on earth is very short.

6. Jesus wants us to help build
        the kingdom here below.

7. Our children can be a fruitful vine.

8. Our life here on earth is short.

9. God wants us to tell the 
        world of His love —
    Jesus wants pictures of His
        Sacred Heart in all places.

10. Jesus wants us to love Him
        as the Sacred Heart.

Transfiguration

1. John 1: 5

This is what we have heard from him 
and are declaring to you: 
God is light, 
    and there is no darkness in him at all.

2. Matthew 17: 1-2, 5-6

Six days later, Jesus took with him Peter and James and his brother John and led them up a high mountain by themselves. There in their presence he was transfigured: his face shone like the sun and his clothes became as dazzling as light. 

He was still speaking when suddenly a bright cloud covered them with shadow, and suddenly from the cloud there came a voice which said, ‘This is my Son, the Beloved; he enjoys my favour. Listen to him.’ When they heard this, the disciples fell on their faces, overcome with fear.

3. I see Him before me clothed in light.

4. Jesus is the Light of the world.

5. God wants us to be children of the light.

6. Mary appeared to me as Our Lady of Light.

7. Mary, when she appeared, looked like
        she had this bright light that comes
        from a fire all around her.

8. Jesus was transfigured in light before me,
        I do not have words to describe it.

9. Look at how bright the sun is.

10. I have had lights of knowing things too,
        knowing things about God. When
        this happens God reveals deep
        insights into the hidden mysteries.

Last Supper

1. Jesus is the Son of God.

2. God is real.

3. God is the Creator.

4. John 3:16

            For this is how God loved the world: 
        he gave his only Son, 
        so that everyone who believes in him 
            may not perish 

5. Jesus changed bread and wine
        into His Body and Blood
        at the Last Supper.

6. Jesus gives this power to the priests.

7. Jesus remains today truly present 
        in the Eucharist.

8. The Mass goes on all day
        around the world.

9. We can unite to the Mass all day
        as a prayer and offer up all we do.

10.We can do this in the Morning Offering

                                    has been made the materials are covered
                                    before the order.
