                Annunciation

                        1. Jesus loves us so much.

                        2. God sent an angel from heaven to Mary.

                        3. The angel told Mary she was to be Jesus' Mother.

                        4. Mary was a young girl.

                        5. Mary was very holy.

                        6. Mary was sinless.

                        7. Mary became the mother of Jesus.

                        8. Mary carried Jesus in her body.

                        9. Jesus is the Son of God.

                        10. Jesus is our Savior.

                              Jesus wants us in heaven with Him
                                    forever.

   


   

                Visitation

                        1. Mary had a cousin Elizabeth.

                        2. Elizabeth, they thought, could not have children.

                        3. Mary found out Elizabeth was going to have
                                a baby.

                        4. Mary went to visit Elizabeth.

                        5. Elizabeth's baby jumped for joy inside her.

                        6. Mary said a pretty prayer
                                called the Magnificat.

                        7. Mary stayed with Elizabeth three months.

                        8. Elizabeth's baby was called John the Baptist.

                        9. John the Baptist went before Jesus.

                        10. John the Baptist told people about Jesus.

    


   

                The Birth of Jesus

                        1. Jesus is the Savior of the world.

                        2. Mary and Joseph went to Bethlehem
                                for a census.

                        3. There was no room in the inn for Mary to have Jesus.

                        4. Mary and Joseph only found space
                                in a little stable.

                        5. Jesus was born amongst the animals.

                        6. Jesus was laid in a little manger with 
                                hay.

                        7. A beautiful star in the sky shown above
                                Jesus' head.

                        8. The angels sang so beautiful because
                                Jesus is the Savior.

                        9. They sang Glory to God.

                        10. Three kings saw the star and brought
                                gifts.

  


  

                The Presentation in the Temple

                        1. Joseph and Mary took the baby Jesus
                                up to the temple.

                        2. Joseph and Mary offered a pair of turtle doves.

                        3. Joseph and Mary saw Simeon.

                        4. Simeon was an old prophet in the temple.

                        5. Simeon told Mary
                                "and a sword will pierce your soul too" (Lk 2:35)

                        6. Mary knew her Son would suffer.

                        7. Simeon said "Now Master, you can let your servant 
                                go in peace, just as you promised; because my eyes 
                                have seen the salvation which you have prepared 
                                for all the nations to see, a light to enlighten the pagans 
                                and the glory of your people, Israel." (Lk 2:29-32)

                        8. Jesus is the Light of the World.

                        9. There was an old lady named Anna.

                        10. Anna prayed most of the day in the temple.

   


  

                Finding in the Temple

                        1. When Jesus was 12 years old Joseph
                                and Mary took him to the
                                temple.

                        2. They went in a caravan.

                        3. When they left, they left Jesus
                                behind.

                        4. Mary and Joseph returned to the
                                temple.

                        5. They were in such sorrow.

                        6. They wanted to find Jesus.

                        7. They searched and searched.

                        8. They found Jesus teaching the
                                doctors in the temple.

                        9. They were amazed at the wisdom
                                of Jesus.

                        10. Jesus went home with Mary
                                and Joseph and he obeyed them.

  

   

Mysteries of Light
     


 

                Baptism of Jesus

                        1. John the Baptist, Jesus' cousin, baptized Jesus.

                        2. John poured water on Jesus' head.

                        3. That is what happens in baptism.

                        4. They were in the Jordan River.

                        5. When Jesus was baptized by John, the
                                sky was opened.

                        6. A voice from above said,
                                "This is My Son, the Beloved,
                                    My favour rests on him." (Mt 3:17)

                        7. Water was used.

                        8. Jesus teaches us how to love.

                        9. Jesus is the Light of the world.

                        10. After death Jesus wants all souls in heaven with Him.

    


  

                Marriage at Cana

                        1. There was a marriage at Cana.

                        2. Jesus and Mary went to the wedding.

                        3. The people drank lots of wine.

                        4. The wine ran out.

                        5. Mary told Jesus there was not any wine.

                        6. Mary told the waiters to do whatever Jesus
                                told them.

                        7. There were some clay jugs of water.

                        8. Jesus turned water into wine.

                        9. The head wine taster thought is was such good wine.

                        10. God gives us so many gifts
                                Look how our hands work -
                                    and our ear...
                                    and our tongue...

  


  

                Kingdom of God

                        1. Jesus is the Savior of the world.

                        2. Jesus is the Son of God.

                        3. Jesus wants us to be with Him forever
                                in heaven.

                        4. Jesus is the King of heaven and earth.

                        5. We should make Jesus the King of our hearts.

                        6. Jesus came into the earth a little baby.

                        7. They crowned Jesus with a crown
                                of thorns.

                        8. God gave us life.

                        9. God wants us to help build His Kingdom.

                        10. In God's Kingdom people love
                                each other.

  


  

                Transfiguration

                        1. Jesus is light.

                        2. Jesus took Peter and James and John
                                up the mountain.

                        3. Jesus appeared before them transfigured.

                        4. He was covered with light.

                        5. The light was so bright.

                        6. While Jesus was on the mountain
                                a voice was heard -

                        7. The voice said
                                "This is My Son, the Beloved, he
                                    enjoys My favour. Listen to him." (Mt 17:5)

                        8. "When they heard this, the disciples fell 
                                on their faces, overcome with fear." (Mt 17:6)

                        9. "But Jesus came up and touched them, saying, 
                                ‘Stand up, do not be afraid.’" (Mt 17:7)

                        10. "And when they raised their eyes they saw no one 
                                but Jesus." (Mt 17:8)

  


   

                Last Supper

                        1. Jesus had 12 apostles.

                        2. Jesus had a big supper before His
                                death on the cross.

                        3. At the last supper Jesus changed bread
                                into His Body and wine into His Blood.

                        4. This was the first Eucharist.

                        5. Jesus gives us the priest.

                        6. Jesus gives us the Mass.

                        7. At Mass Jesus gives us His Body and His Blood.

                        8. Jesus remains with us today truly present
                                in the Eucharist.

                        9. Jesus loves us so much.

                        10. Jesus wants us to come to Him at
                                Mass.

  

  

Sorrowful Mysteries
  


  

                Agony in the Garden

                        1. Jesus loves us so much.

                        2. Jesus knew He would suffer.

                        3. He saw all He would suffer in the garden.

                        4. He suffered so much He sweat Blood.

                        5. Jesus loves us and wants us to love Him.

                        6. He sweat Blood.

                        7. Jesus gives us Himself in Holy
                                Communion.

                        8. Jesus went through this agony
                                for you and me.

                        9. An angel appeared to Jesus in
                                the garden.

                        10. The angel came to comfort Him.

   


  

                Scourging at the Pillar

                        1. Jesus wants us to pray to Him
                                and tell Him we love Him.

                        2. Angry men beat Jesus at the
                                pillar.

                        3. Jesus wants us to do God's will.

                        4. God wants us to obey the 10
                                Commandments.

                        5. Jesus wants us to love each other.

                        6. Jesus wants us to be kind to each other.

                        7. Jesus suffered for our sins.

                        8. Jesus wants us to say our
                                prayers every day.

                        9. Jesus wants us to pray for each other.

                        10. Jesus wants us to know sometimes
                                we suffer and things are hard.

   


   

                Crowning with Thorns

                        1. Jesus was spit on by angry men.

                        2. They crowned Jesus with a
                                crown of thorns - they were
                                mean.

                        3. Jesus is the King of heaven and
                                earth.

                        4. The angry men mocked Jesus.

                        5. Jesus wants us to love each other.

                        6. Jesus suffered a bitter passion
                                for our sins.

                        7. Sometimes people are mean to us.

                        8. Sometimes they hurt our feelings.

                        9. Sometimes they are not fair.

                        10. Sometimes they disobey their parents.

   


  

                Carrying of the Cross

                        1. Jesus carried a heavy cross.

                        2. The cross was heavy with our
                                sins.

                        3. Jesus, while crowned with thorns,
                                carried the cross.

                        4. Jesus did this for love of us.

                        5. Jesus wants us to think about
                                how much He loves us.

                        6. Jesus fell under the cross.

                        7. Jesus fell under the cross 3 times.

                        8. Veronica wiped Jesus' face.

                        9. Simon helped Jesus carry
                                His cross.

                        10. They stripped Jesus of His
                                garments.

   


  

                Crucifixion

                        1. The angry men nailed Jesus'
                                hands and feet to a cross.

                        2. The angry men crucified
                                Jesus on the cross.

                        3. The angry men crucified
                                two men on each side of
                                Jesus.

                        4. One of the men crucified
                                with Jesus was called
                                a good thief.

                        5. One of the men crucified with
                                Jesus was called a bad thief.

                        6. Jesus promised the good thief
                                he would be with Him in
                                heaven.

                        7. Jesus hung for three
                                agonizing hours
                                on the cross.

                        8. Mary stood beneath
                                the cross.

                        9. Mary watched while
                                they crucified her
                                beloved Son.

                        10. Jesus was pierced with a

Glorious Mysteries
  


  

                Resurrection

                        1. Jesus died, but Jesus
                                rose on the third day.

                        2. Jesus was put in the tomb
                                for three days.

                        3. They rolled a big stone up
                                to the tomb.

                        4. On the third day, Jesus
                                came forth victorious.

                        5. Jesus' body was glorified.

                        6. He appeared to the apostles
                                after the resurrection.

                        7. He shown in brilliant light.

                        8. His wounds were glorified.

                        9. Death has no power over Jesus.

                        10. The tomb was empty.

  


  

                Ascension

                        1. Jesus ascended into heaven.

                        2. "Then he took them out as far as the outskirts 
                                of Bethany, and raising his hands he blessed them."
                                (Lk 24:50)

                        3. The apostles watched Jesus
                                go up in the sky.

                        4. They watched from the field
                                below.

                        5. "They were still staring into the sky as he went, 
                                when suddenly two men in white were 
                                standing beside them," (Acts 1:10)

                        6. Jesus went to heaven.

                        7. Jesus wants us to carry on 
                                the work He started.

                        8. The apostles carried on the work
                                Jesus started.

                        9. At first the apostles were
                                afraid.

                        10. The apostles hid
                                themselves in a room
                                until the Holy Spirit
                                came upon them.

  


  

                The Descent of the Holy Spirit

                        1. "When Pentecost day came round, they had 
                                all met together, when suddenly there came from heaven 
                                a sound as of a violent wind which filled the entire house 
                                in which they were sitting; and there appeared to them 
                                tongues as of fire; these separated and came to rest 
                                on the head of each of them. They were all filled 
                                with the Holy Spirit and began to speak different languages 
                                as the Spirit gave them power to express themselves."
                                (Acts 2:1-4)

                        2. Some spoke in different 
                                tongues and they understood
                                each other.

                        3. The apostles were no longer
                                fearful.

                        4. They went out and were
                                filled with the Holy Spirit.

                        5. They were filled with
                                courage -

                        6. They taught the
                                people without fear.

                        7. Many were converted.

                        8. The Church spread.

                        9. (Jn 16:13)

However, when the Spirit of truth comes
he will lead you to the complete truth,
since he will not be speaking 
    of his own accord,
but will say only what he has been told;
and he will reveal to you
    the things to come.

                        10. There are 3 Persons in
                                one God,
                                Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

  


   

                Assumption

                        1. Mary was taken to heaven
                                body and soul.

                        2. Mary is our Mother.

                        3. Mary wants us to pray
                                the rosary.

                        4. Mary wants us to study
                                her life in the rosary.

                        5. Mary wants us to study
                                Jesus' life in the rosary.

                Queenship of Mary

                        5. "Now a great sign appeared in heaven: 
                                a woman, robed with the sun, standing on the moon, 
                                and on her head a crown of twelve stars. 
                                She was pregnant, and in labour, crying aloud 
                                in the pangs of childbirth." (Rev 12:1-2)

                        6. Mary is the Mother of Jesus.

                        7. God the Father picked Mary
                                to be the Mother of Jesus.

                        8. Mary is Queen of the most
                                holy rosary.

                        9. Mary is the Queen of families.
