Messenger: Men and women, blacks and whites were created to live in loving harmony.

From the Votive Mass of the Sacred Heart the first reading says:

See Deuteronomy 10:12-22.

Deuteronomy 10:16-19

Circumcise your heart then and be obstinate no longer; for Yahweh your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, triumphant and terrible, free of favouritism, never to be bribed. He it is who sees justice done for the orphan and the widow, who loves the stranger and gives him food and clothing. (Love the stranger then, for you were once strangers in Egypt.)

Messenger: How many preconceived ideas do we have in our hearts concerning men and women, blacks and whites or other colors of skin?

God the Father intends us to live in loving harmony according to the Father's will. If we knew no prejudice, if all we knew in our hearts was pure love and that God intends us to live in love with one another, despite our skin color or gender, if all we knew was His will, then think of how differently we would approach our relationships. God created them male and female to live in loving harmony, to respect one another in their different roles.

Relationship takes time. God gives us a lifetime to grow in more perfected ways of loving God and one another.

Genesis 4:2-7

She gave birth to a second child, Abel, the brother of Cain. Now Abel became a shepherd and kept flocks, while Cain tilled the soil. Time passed and Cain brought some of the produce of the soil as an offering for Yahweh, while Abel for his part brought the first-born of his flock and some of their fat as well. Yahweh looked with favour on Abel and his offering. But he did not look with favour on Cain and his offering, and Cain was very angry and downcast. Yahweh asked Cain, 'Why are you angry and downcast? If you are doing right, surely you ought to hold your head high! But if you are not doing right, Sin is crouching at the door hungry to get you. You can still master him.'

Messenger: It is not our primary concern to build a kingdom of buildings and castles. Our primary concern is the loving relationships we build with God and one another.

Since the time of Adam and Eve, men and women have been learning how to deal with one another in relationships. God made men and women different with different roles. One only needs to note that only woman bear children, only woman can nurse them. Only men can plant the seed to impregnate a woman. The man plants the seed, the woman brings forth the fruit. Christ plants His word in their hearts in the Church, He feeds them with His Body and Blood. The Church, His bride, with His help brings forth the fruit. The priest is His anointed celebrant to administer the Sacraments.

There are so many myths about men and women. The bottom line is God the Father intends men and women to love one another and bear great fruit.

Because fathers and mothers have been taught from generations past how to be men and women, many ways of relating between men and women were not ways that God wished.

Whether men and women learned good or bad ways of relating with one another, they learned it through daily living. While little boys and girls were learning to eat and walk and talk, they learned about the roles of men and women from their parents. They have learned both good and bad information from imperfect parents. If a man had a very loving, tender relationship with his mother, this usually carries over to other women. If a woman had a very healthy, loving relationship with her father, this usually carries over to other men.

The father and mother were better teachers the more they recognized their role as representing the Father in heaven and lived in His will. Authority comes from God. If the father and mother saw themselves as the top authority, they did not act as they should have.

What happened in many cases? If the authority of both father and mother was not connected as it should have been to God's authority, the parents may have taught many unloving ways of relating.

All authority comes from God and God is most loving.

Authority must always be accompanied by love according to God's will.

Jesus speaks: My priests must have a most intimate relationship with their Mother, Mary. She is the Mother of the Church.

In the pure and holy Heart of the Virgin, priests will have the most intimate union with Me.

I give you the Virgin Mary, pure and immaculate. Mary takes you into My Heart.

If the priests did not have good relationships with women, they may have preconceived ideas about men and women that harm their relationship with their heavenly Mother.

Men cannot think that they do not need Mary their heavenly Mother.

The secret to greater intimacy with My Sacred Heart comes through the pure and holy Heart of the Woman, Mary Immaculate.

She is all pure and sinless.

Men and women need to examine relationships with mothers and fathers, dating partners, etc., and let go of any preconceived ideas that will block them from having proper relationships with the Virgin Mary, with Me the God-man, with the Father in heaven and with one another.

Many of My priests today do not have a good relationship with their heavenly Mother. If the Church is to become as it is intended to be in the greatest fullness bringing forth great fruit, priests and people must analyze relationships regarding which they harbor preconceived ideas about the other gender and regarding which they hold bitterness in their hearts. They must ask for healing in these relationships and forgive those who wounded them.

God the Father speaks: I created men and women with different roles to exist in peaceful, loving harmony according to My will. I created men to love women and women to love men.

Genesis 2:21-25

Then, Yahweh God made the man fall into a deep sleep. And, while he was asleep, he took one of his ribs and closed the flesh up again forthwith. Yahweh God fashioned the rib he had taken from the man into a woman, and brought her to the man. And the man said:

This one at last is bone of my bones
    and flesh of my flesh!
She is to be called Woman,
because she was taken from Man.

This is why a man leaves his father and mother and becomes attached to his wife, and they become one flesh.

Now, both of them were naked, the man and his wife, but they felt no shame before each other.

God the Father speaks: I intend you to live on this earth in loving harmony and in oneness with each other and with your God.

Mary speaks: My children,
I am Mary your Mother, I speak to you of love, honor and authority.

1 Corinthians 15:25-28

For he is to be king until he has made his enemies his footstool, and the last of the enemies to be done away with is death, for he has put all things under his feet. But when it is said everything is subjected, this obviously cannot include the One who subjected everything to him. When everything has been subjected to him, then the Son himself will be subjected to the One who has subjected everything to him, so that God may be all in all.

Genesis 3:6-7

The woman saw that the tree was good to eat and pleasing to the eye, and that it was enticing for the wisdom that it could give. So she took some of its fruit and ate it. She also gave some to her husband who was with her, and he ate it. Then the eyes of both of them were opened and they realised that they were naked. So they sewed fig-leaves together to make themselves loin-cloths.

Revelation 12:1-2

Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman, robed with the sun, standing on the moon, and on her head a crown of twelve stars. She was pregnant, and in labour, crying aloud in the pangs of childbirth.

Genesis 3:16

To the woman he said:

I shall give you intense pain
    in childbearing,
you will give birth to your children
    in pain.
Your yearning will be for your husband, and he will dominate you.

Mary speaks: See Romans 8:18-27.

Romans 8:21-23

…with the intention that the whole creation itself might be freed from its slavery to corruption and brought into the same glorious freedom as the children of God. We are well aware that the whole creation, until this time, has been groaning in labour pains. And not only that: we too, who have the first-fruits of the Spirit, even we are groaning inside ourselves, waiting with eagerness for our bodies to be set free.

John 16:20-21

'In all truth I tell you,
you will be weeping and wailing
while the world will rejoice;
you will be sorrowful,
but your sorrow will turn to joy.
A woman in childbirth suffers,
because her time has come;
but when she has given birth to the child
    she forgets the suffering
in her joy that a human being
has been born into the world.

Mary speaks: My children, I am Mary your Mother, Mary Immaculate, my Heart is pure and sinless.

See John Chapter 1.

You must die to your imperfections.

I am the Mother of the Church.

John 19:25-27 Jesus and his mother

Near the cross of Jesus stood his mother and his mother's sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary of Magdala. Seeing his mother and the disciple whom he loved standing near her, Jesus said to his mother, 'Woman, this is your son.' Then to the disciple he said, 'This is your mother.' And from that hour the disciple took her into his home.

The Bridegroom of My Soul  -  Jesus Our Sacred Heart

Messenger: On this first day of Lent last year Jesus gave to us the Spouse of the Lamb material.

He has asked that the writings be placed on the Internet during Lent.

Ash Wednesday, February 25, 1998 - 1st Day from the Spouse of the Lamb book

Jesus speaks: Do you think I acted on your soul less when I gave you the experiences of hell?

I give to you the greatest graces to know My love. I act directly on your soul. I am the Bridegroom of your soul.

Messenger: Oh Jesus, He took me to the heights of ecstasy in Him in realizing how He is the Initiator and acts on my soul. How foolish I am indeed to think it is I who control the workings of God on my soul, when in fact He is the Bridegroom of my soul.

I see Him look at me with the greatest love, as I did once in the study, when I knew He looked at me and loved me so. I sat with a white dress and my Bridegroom looked with love on me, thinking me so beautiful to Him, me the little child of the Father in all my faults, and looking on me with such love. He stood above me as a Bridegroom dressed in black, tall and handsome, and He looked down with the most loving eyes upon me and I knew the love of the Divine Creator.

Today I knew how it was, how He acted on my soul.

I see how it is when someone really acts in love and does something for me because that person loves me.

I see myself as open, letting go, putting myself entirely in the hands of the Creator, the God I love, and the Bridegroom comes with the greatest love and His grace. He gives me Himself. My job is to be, just to be, a soul, waiting for the Bridegroom to just give me Himself in the greatest love. I am, I know it is He who acts, and when He acts His presence overtakes my soul. I am, I let go and I reminisce about all the times He just overtook my soul.

Little do I do, for it is the Bridegroom loving me, loving my soul and acting most intimately on my soul.

I sit and surrender myself entirely to Him. He is the Initiator. He is the One Who acts with His grace and NOTHING - no intimate experience, nothing here can fill the soul with this love and satisfaction.

For the Bridegroom acts and the soul is satisfied, the only desire is that it will never end. Sometimes there is such a longing and realizing the temporariness of it all. Sometimes He gives my soul such satisfaction, comfort and love, and I am filled with the greatest peace and satisfaction with less awareness of the temporariness, just peace.

Jesus speaks: I give you the peace of the Sacred Heart of Jesus when He acts on the soul of His spouse. I am the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. I am the Spouse of your soul. I give you this satisfaction so that you will write to Me after Communion for My Mass Books for the world. This book will be entitled the Spouse of the Lamb. I will act on your soul most intimately.

And what My child is the key, but total surrender as a spouse who knows her spouse loves her and takes the love given. You, child, pray for this grace, to be possessed by the Lamb, the Bridegroom of your soul. What lesson did I teach you this day but that it is I who act upon you, you do not control My love given to you in any way. A grace is given, a grace is received.

Your total surrender is the way to most optimally allow the Bridegroom, the Lamb, to act on your soul.

Total yielding, so that you will allow yourself to be IN ME.

Messenger: Oh my God - how to explain that which happens when You act on my soul and what I experience. Are there any words that could do this justice when the Almighty God finds favor with me most intimately, and gives Himself to me?

Jesus speaks: My child, I act, you are passive, empty and open. Surrender and I will possess your soul with the lights of heaven so you can experience your Divine Lover most intimately. Surrender, surrender, surrender, a state of being and surrender to live in Him at the point of greatest intimacy in the Mass.

You will know days of darkness and joy as the shadows and lights fade in and out of your life and I reveal Myself most intimately to you.

I am Jesus Christ, the Bridegroom of your soul. Your hand must record these experiences for the marriage of the Lamb to the soul.

I act upon your soul most intimately.

Messenger: During this period from Ash Wednesday until Good Friday, Jesus presented Himself to me as the Bridegroom of my soul.

In Light of Christ Church in Florida, I would see Him dressed in black when I went to Communion. He reminded me of a bridegroom. I saw Him there and was filled with such emotion to receive Him and be so intimately united to Him spiritually in the Eucharist.

Jesus the Bridegroom of my soul.

Jesus I adore You and worship You. I am so focused on such little details in my life that rob me of my peace. And Jesus the Son of God gives us Himself.

I desire this Lent to incorporate the writings of last Lent into this Lent. Identifying more and more with Him, knowing my intense love for Him, I wish to write everyday to Jesus the Bridegroom of my soul. I want to answer the question, "How do I feel about my beloved Bridegroom today, Jesus Christ, the Bridegroom of my soul?" I am the spouse of the Lamb. I want to be pure in Mary's Heart.

We can do positive things for Lent.

  1. Pray the Shepherds of Christ prayers especially at 6:30 p.m.
  2. Pray the rosary everyday.
  3. Everyday write a love letter to Jesus, the Bridegroom of our souls.

(10 minutes writing, 10 minutes reading a Blue Book message, 10 minutes listening)

There are many more things we can do with Jesus to identify with Him.

Going to Mass is a special gift for Him and for ourselves.

Question for married couples and others in intimate relationships:

Q: How do I feel my relationship with Jesus, my Bridegroom, is made so much fuller by loving you?
