A Prayer for Intimacy with the Lamb, the Bridegroom of the Soul
Oh Lamb of God, Who take away the sins of the world, come and act on my soul most intimately. I surrender myself, as I ask for the grace to let go, to just be as I exist in You and You act most intimately on my soul. You are the Initiator. I am the soul waiting Your favors as You act in me. I love You. I adore You. I worship You. Come and possess my soul with Your Divine Grace, as I experience You most intimately.

My dear friends, I ask for your help,
I give my heart to Jesus and Mary with you in love. We are sending the Priestly Newsletter to 75,000 Priests as we normally do. In it will be the prayer manual. This Newsletter will announce Father Carter's death and tell 75,000 priests of the desire of Jesus to begin the Prayer Chapters Jesus gave to Father Carter for the renewal of the Church and the world and praying for the priests.
Mary appears on the building in Clearwater Florida for this two-fold purpose given to Father Carter.
Jesus began His special part in helping to bring about the Completion of the Fatima mission when He began His Movement Shepherds of Christ.
Mary called all century.
On October 13, 1996 Jesus called the Apostles 3 months before Mary appeared on the building. Father Carter led 3 important prayer services October 13, 1996, November 13, 1996, December 13, 1996 and then Mary appeared on the building. Jesus called Father Carter to lead three more important meetings after Mary appeared on the building, January 13, 1997, February 13, 1997, March 13, 1997. There was a total of six 13th gatherings with Father Carter leading the rosary.
This major mailing of the Priestly Newsletter can help to bring about the completion of the Fatima Mission
Priests will receive the Prayer Manual centered in consecration. Priests who love Father Carter will see his mission was two fold
1) Newsletter
2) Prayer ChaptersIncluded is the Newsletter that will go to 75,000 priests.
Here are the pictures I took February 5, 2001 when I was sent to Florida to do the rosary.
Mary appeared in gold for the camera for 1/2 year on the 5th's, at first nobody could photograph her to my knowledge when she appeared.
On January 5, 2001– the first rosary was led on the first 5th of the new millennium by a holy priest, Mary appeared in rainbow-golden color and appeared like this again February 5, 2001 when I was there during the 6:20 gathering.
Father Laurentin recently did an article in his magazine on Clearwater. He recorded messages I received from Mary.
Please I ask you to study the Newsletter and the pictures.
Please your help can help us do what Our Lord and Our Lady is asking us to do to begin prayer chapters all over the world to help bring about the completion of the Fatima mission.
Please I beg you to help us.
I love you, Rita Ring
$10,000 can send about 100,000 prayer manuals to priests seminarians and their dioceses. The Newsletter costs over $70,000 to print and send to 75,000 priests.

My dear friends, I ask for your help,
I give my heart to Jesus and Mary with you in love. I wanted to write to you to see if you could help us or if you know anyone that would help donate money to help us get the Priestly Newsletter and Prayer Manuals in the hands of all these priests and bishops that Father sent the Newsletter to.
He asked me to put the Newsletter out in January and told me it was important. Father Carter wanted us to continue the Newsletters with his writings he received for 33 years, he wrote 17 books. He wrote 33 Newsletters at the end of the second millennium. Deep insights into the hidden mysteries to help renew the Church and the world and to help bring about the Reign of Jesus' Sacred Heart can be found in these 33 years of Writings of Father Carter.
A disk on one of Father Carter's writings on grace is available. He wished this in this Newsletter. It is available also on tape. Fr. Mike Paraniuk reads this powerful writing of Fr. Carter's on grace. You can request this from us.
These prayer chapters Fr. Carter started could majorly help to bring about the completion of the Mission Mary began at Fatima,
Love,

Excerpt from Response in Christ, by Father Edward J. Carter, S.J.
e) Relationship with Members of the Church
There is but one true Church of Christ. Yet this one Church has three different states of existence. There is the pilgrim Church, the Church of this world, composed of members who have received the grace of Christ and strive for its development. They have not yet obtained the goal of their efforts, as have the members of the heavenly Church, who enjoy God in eternal happiness. The Church suffering is an intermediate state of existence necessary for those who had not achieved the required purification as members of the pilgrim Church. Although there are these three phases of the Church's existence, there is a profound union existing between all the members. All these members possess the same basic life of grace in Christ, and this common life establishes the most intimate bonds of love. In our preceding chapter, we discussed the pilgrim Church. Let us now consider the Church suffering and the heavenly Church.
The members of the Church suffering are those who have departed from this life in an incomplete state of Christian development. Their development is incomplete in the sense that grace has not fully taken possession of them, and, as a result, they are yet closed in upon themselves to a greater or lesser degree. They as yet cannot open themselves out in complete love to the Triune God in the beatific vision. They must undergo a further purification, a purification which could have been achieved upon earth with merit. Now the purification must be achieved with no merit attached. The pain of this purification is mixed with the certain expectation of achieving the vision of God. We can hasten the advent of this vision for this people by the offering of prayers and other good works. Scripture itself refers to our action on behalf of those in purgatory in Chapter 12 of the Second Book of Maccabees beginning with verse 38.
The members of the heavenly Church are those in whom the life of grace has taken full possession and has reached its completion in the life of glory. Faith now is unnecessary, as the light of glory gives the human intellect a new strength and capacity for seeing God face-to-face. While the Christian was a wayfarer, he received the imprint of the indwelling Trinity as he shared in God's own life. Now in heaven that grace-life and possession of God reaches its completion—the absolute completion is not achieved, however, until the resurrection of the body. The divine persons give Themselves to the beatified in a profound union far surpassing that of the indwelling of the Trinity experienced here below.
This life of heaven is still the Christ-life, for just as we possess a share in Trinitarian life here below as mediated by Christ, and exercise this grace-life as structured by Him, so also in heaven is the mediation of Christ present. In the words of Rahner, "One always sees the Father through Jesus. Just as immediately as this, for the directness of the vision of God is not a denial of the mediatorship of Christ as man."13 And not only does the humanity of Christ unite the blessed to God, but also, in some way, to the whole of creation. This is merely a completion of what is begun here below, namely, the union with Christ in His humanity establishing the Christian in a special relationship with God, with other men, and with the whole of creation. We have a glimpse, therefore, of the fullness of life which members of the heavenly Church possess.
The heavenly Church, as St. Thomas says, is the true Church.14 The Church of this earth and the Church of purgatory are, each in its own way, reaching out in loving hope for the heavenly Jerusalem. Vatican II puts it very simply: "The Church, to which we are called in Christ Jesus, and in which we acquire sanctity through the grace of God, will attain her full perfection only in the glory of heaven."15
The members of the heavenly Church can help us in living our life of grace until we too share its fullness with them. Their power of intercession on our behalf is but another ramification of the communal aspect of Christianity. We are meant to help others grow in Christ. We, in turn, are intended by God to receive aid from others—yes, from members of the heavenly Church, as well as from those with whom we dwell here below.
Not only can we be aided by the saints' intercession, but the example of the canonized saints can also be of great value to us. They have concretely proved that full holiness is possible. Such an inspiration is of real worth when we are tempted to think that Christian sanctity in its higher degrees is impossible of attainment. Moreover, the canonized saints, in their diversity, teach us that there are many authentic versions of Christian holiness. They can be innovators in showing us that there are numerous possibilities in assimilating the mystery of Christ, although the basic assimilation remains the same for all Christians of all times. In the opinion of Rahner this is one of the chief roles the canonized saints exert in the life of the Church.16_______

Message from Mary
July 28, 2000
Mary speaks: Oh my children. And I cry to you this night. For I want the rosary to be in the hands of my children all over the world as I asked at Fatima in 1917. And so many years later I still cry to you, my blinded earth. And I appear on the building and people go by and they do not even see, for they are so busy for their lives. And yet I ask you to meditate on the scene of Oscar and the funeral. For it is a sunny day outside and inside in the funeral parlors of this world and the churches where services are held for the dead. The connection between heaven and earth is so clear that this life here is not forever. And I cry to you my children to help me to do what my Son, Jesus, has asked of you, to help to begin the prayer chapters, to pray for the Church and the world and for your priests. Oh my children, you do not know the gifts that you are given in the Blessed Sacrament and in the priests. You must pray for them. The power, my children is in the Eucharist. It is through the hands of the priests that you receive this great gift from your God and you must pray for them. Will you help me throughout the world by spreading these prayer chapters and uniting your hearts to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass? And in everything that you do, in your sleeping and your eating, offer up your lives to the Father, making everything you do a prayer. It is so simple my children. And enormous grace will be released to the world.
July 27, 2000
Mary speaks: My dear child, a baby is indeed so dear and so pure and the loss of a baby so sad. If men only knew how I cry as your heavenly Mother for my babies, the ones murdered in the womb by their mothers.
If men only knew why I appeared to you so many times daily, that you would reach the adults with my plea to pray for the children and change their lives, and the last nine months there was my plea to reach the children with my rosary meditations and the consecration.
My dear child, it is a tragedy when a little baby loses its life and you say, oh, why God is it just?
How can you sit as children of God and not hear me as my messengers cry to you.
I appear on the building in Clearwater and their eyes do not even see me.
I cry like you wanted to for the mother of the baby who died.
I cry for the mothers and fathers that raise little babies and feed them to the world so that their souls are left to such evil influences there.
They die, my little babies, a spiritual death.
Every day more and more youth choose the evils of the world and their parents give in to the society. Some parents try so hard to help their children stay pure, and many influences, including some of my schools, lead the children away from God.
Mary's
Message from the Rosary of August 27, 1996
Mary speaks: I stood beneath the cross of my Son, and my Heart was in such pain for I saw Him before my eyes. I saw Him covered with blood. I saw Him die. My Heart, my children, my Heart to watch my Son, but my Heart, my Heart, how I suffered for my little children of the world that give in to this world and give up the love of my Son. O my little children of light, I give you this message. Carry this light into the darkness for your Mother Mary, for I stood beneath the cross and I cried. I cried for the little ones. I cried for the young ones, the ones that do not care and will lose their souls. How do I make you see for you will not listen to me? What can I do? I come. I appear. I beg. I plead. I give you these gifts from my Son, and you reject me. I do not deliver messages very often anymore for I have been ignored. The message is the same. You do not read the messages I have given to you. Please help me. Help the little children. I appear. I appear. I appear, and I am ignored. I stood beneath the cross, and I cried. I cried, and my Heart was in such anguish for my little children, for I am searching for them this day as I searched for the Child Jesus. Please, please help me. I cannot hold back the hand of my Son any longer. I am Mary, your Mother. I ask you to help my children. You are my children of light.

From the Priestly Newsletter - Shepherds of Christ
2000 - ISSUE ONE
Dear Father Carter,
For years I have received Shepherds of Christ Newsletter; I do not know who put me on your mailing list, but I’m grateful to you both. Since I first began to receive the newsletter I have been assigned as the Director of Formation Advising for the Pontifical North American College in Rome.
I would like to know if it would be possible to make a bulk order so that our seminarians could benefit from the newsletter as well. I will make sure they are distributed to our seminarians. At present we have about 200 seminarians and student priests on our campus, all eager for good spiritual reading!
Please let me know if we can make an arrangement for the delivery of the newsletter here at the college.
Please keep our faculty and seminarians in your prayers.
Sincerely yours in Christ,Rev. J. Mark Williams

Dear Rev. Father,
Greetings to you from Dimapur. During the past year I have been receiving Shepherds of Christ newsletters from the diocese. Having found it very fruitful and enriching I thought that I would offer it to all my priests of this Province. Will it be possible for you to send me 140 books of your newsletters? I would like to offer it as a Millenium gift to all my priests. From the year 2000 I would like to get regularly the newsletters for our priests. I am sure the contents of the newsletters will inspire my priests to a life of renewal.
Congratulations for the wonderful work you are doing. Yours in Christ, The Good ShepherdFr. Varghese Palathingal, sdb.

Dear Father Carter,
I am praying for your work and I have asked all other priest beneficiaries to pray for you and all who are working with you.
I am receiving Shepherds of Christ regularly and I distribute them among some of our priests who are interested. I need not say how useful they are for personal reflection and for homilies and other talks.
If possible kindly send us some audio cassettes.
Thank you. Yours sincerely,Fr. V. Savarimuthu

Dear Fr. Carter,
I received the parcel you so kindly sent me. Thank you for the book "Shepherds of Christ" and the set of audio cassettes.
May I request of you this favour. There are more than 100 priests in the dioceses of Cuddapah and also Kurnool where I served as Apostolic Administrator for three years. They love me also and visit me when they come this side. I want to give them all the book, "Shepherds of Christ" and ask them to study and meditate on it.
I admire this great work that you are doing for the priestly holiness. The holiness of the Church depends on the holiness of its priests. It is a great pity that many fail to be "Christ". Only prayer and love can bring them around. My congratulations to you once again. With love and blessings,Rev. S. A. Aruliah D.D.

2000 - ISSUE TWO
Dear and Rev. Edward,
Loving and cordial greetings to you from Most Rev. G. Johannes, Bishop of Kurnool.I am glad to learn that you are publishing a magazine by name Shepherds of Christ. Recently, I was given some magazines to be distributed to our priests by Most Rev. Bishop S. A. Aruliah of Cuddapah and the magazines are very good and worth reading.
As the magazines are useful to our priests, I would like to get them for our priests too. Presently there are 70 priests in our diocese and distribution of these magazines to our priests will surely help their spiritual life. As your magazine covers so may theological, pastoral themes, it helps our priests in their pastoral life.
Hence, I request you to send at least 70 Shepherds of Christ magazines to us so that we may distribute to our priests. I also request you to send some audio-video tapes which can help our priests pastorally.
With Blessings,

Greetings and good wishes for Christmas and happy New Year 2000!I am a diocesan priest. I am working in Mbinga Diocese. I, by good chance, came across your Shepherds of Christ, A Spirituality Newsletter for Priests.
After having read it, I decided to ask for a free copy of the newsletter both in cassette form and in book form. Dear Fr. Carter,
I have been reading the newsletter book Shepherds of Christ meditatively since it came. All the articles are deep theology and spirituality. If only priests read it properly and prayerfully, a change towards Christ cannot but come. All my Diocesan priests got the book and are reading it. I have sent a few copies to the seminary rector in South India whom I know, asking him to read it and also order the newsletter. I am sure they will profit by it.Bishop S.A. Aruliah

Compliments of the Easter Season to you! After reading your recent newsletter Shepherds of Christ, I found it very profitable and thought of making a request for subsequent copies as the one I read was given to me by one of our priests.I shall, therefore, be very thankful if you do me the favour of sending me copies of the newsletter in the future. May God bless your apostolate most abundantly.

Dear Ed,
The latest special issue of Shepherds of Christ is very good (Issue 3, 2000). I like the idea that you are expanding it so that although aimed for the needs of priests it is an available resource for lay people as well. It will keep it more viable in the long run. But the choice of articles and topics in the issue are an excellent thematic list of the major spiritual topics of today. My best,

Dear Father Carter,
Please let me tell you how much I am grateful for your "Shepherds of Christ" newsletter. I received the Issue 3, 2000, manual from a long-time family friend and monk who handed it along to my family. The articles are interesting and inspirational!I am a 20-year old college student and I attend a private, secular school. The prayers and articles in "Shepherds of Christ" help me understand the Eucharist and live a life focused on Jesus. I especially like the Act of Consecration prayer. It is so beautiful! I say it daily.
Thank you again and may God bless all those involved in the "Shepherds of Christ" ministry.
Sincerely,

Reverend and dear Fr. Ed,
Mabuhay! Greetings from the Philippines! Please allow me to congratulate you for the expansion of your readership. It is indeed true that even the laity would benefit from your spiritual publication. As for my case, I am not yet a priest yet I found your notes to be helpful in my personal spiritual journey. Thus, I am asking for a personal copy of Shepherds of Christ. The ones that I had been reading were given by a fellow seminarian. May I also request the audiocasette recording of your previous issues. Thank you very much for your dedication. May Mary’s protection never leave you in your life.In Christ

Dear Father Carter,
Greetings in the name of the Risen Lord! I hope you had a good Lent and a joyful celebration of Easter. Here at St. Anne the Vigil and the Easter Sunday celebrations were memorable.Father, since the time I started receiving these spiritual newsletters through my Vicar General Mons. Joseph Kimu of St. John the Baptist Major Seminary in the diocese of Mangochi here in Malawi, I feel my spiritual life has been enriched tremendously.
On the other side, I would like to welcome most gratefully the idea of extending the readership to the laity. I think there could be some food for them too. We as priests, and they as the flock need each other’s assistance.
Sincerely in the Risen Christ

Dear Fr. Carter,
Let me start this letter wishing you a Very Happy New Year with all its blessings of peace, joy and happiness and success. May God bless you.
I received the Shepherds of Christ - Issue 4, 2000 only yesterday. I have not gone through it. I hope that you get enough and more funds to continue. My special prayers for you for this purpose. It is a surprise for me to know that you print in Spanish and are going to do it also in French. I cannot but admire your courage and hard work.
Congratulations. You will have enough funds. No good work will suffer by lack of funds. That's my experience.
How are you? Please keep up your health and joy.
I came back to Cuddapah and remain at my old address given above. Neck pain affects me to sit and work. Otherwise I keep well and happy.
Once more I congratulate you and wish you every success. Please pray for me. My love to all those there.

I am sending a small donation to help pay the expenses of sending some of them. I wish I could send more. I am in a Rural Parish in the hills of Puerto Rico where work is scarce.
If possible and available, I would like to have the last four copies in Spanish. I am stationed with a Puerto Rican Confrere and his English is limited. Having the copies in Spanish, we both can enjoy reading them. In the future, please send me the Spanish copy instead of the English copy.
Gratefully yours,
Rev. ________, O.S.S.P.
P.S. Keep up the fine work-The letters are spiritually uplifting.

A rosary can be used to pray for healing. It is powerful to unite our prayers to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and pray through the powerful intercession of Our Lady of Clearwater.
In times of trouble, for special prayer, we can use our rosary and pray as follows.
A Rosary for Healing or for Someone with Cancer.
On one Hail Mary bead or as many as you desire, say:
May God heal through the intercession of Our Lady of Clearwater in union with the Mass and all the Masses being celebrated around the world.
Pray the Hail Mary or Hail Mary's then pray this after the Hail Mary.
May the cancer be uprooted and thrown into the sea.
We believe with all our hearts.
After the Glory Be pray the following petition.
May be healed through the intercession of Our Lady of Clearwater if it be the holy will of God.
Note: You can look at Mary on the image rosary while you pray this rosary. |
Note: The above section can be printed out from a PDF file, and you can pray the rosary looking at the pictures.
