Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our president and leaders. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.

Father, Son and Holy Spirit?

The Father, has a plan for us.
God wants this relationship with us.
We are here to grow in our intimacy
with God.
In this Lent we can spend time
alone with God and think of the
presence of the Father, Son and
Holy Spirit in our heart.

Jesus: Be alone with Me, close
your eyes, think of the presence of
God, All three Persons, dwelling in
your heart.

Meditate, empty your mind, think
only of the presence of God. Make
a spiritual communion, now.

Take time, be alone with Me.

Everyday during Lent, morning and
night, empty your mind, make a
spiritual communion, think of God’s
presence with you, close your eyes,
be alone with Me.

This will help you to grow in God’s
presence all day, the more you do
this, all thru Lent.

I went into the desert to pray for
40 days and be with My Father,
practice this every day during Lent.
Being alone with God. Knowing
My presence!!!!

Matthew 20:17-28

Jesus was going up to Jerusalem, and on the road he took the Twelve aside by themselves and said to them, 'Look, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of man is about to be handed over to the chief priests and scribes. They will condemn him to death and will hand him over to the gentiles to be mocked and scourged and crucified; and on the third day he will be raised up again.' Then the mother of Zebedee's sons came with her sons to make a request of him, and bowed low; and he said to her, 'What is it you want?' She said to him, 'Promise that these two sons of mine may sit one at your right hand and the other at your left in your kingdom.' Jesus answered, 'You do not know what you are asking. Can you drink the cup that I am going to drink?' They replied, 'We can.' He said to them, 'Very well; you shall drink my cup, but as for seats at my right hand and my left, these are not mine to grant; they belong to those to whom they have been allotted by my Father.' When the other ten heard this they were indignant with the two brothers. But Jesus called them to him and said, 'You know that among the gentiles the rulers lord it over them, and great men make their authority felt. Among you this is not to happen. No; anyone who wants to become great among you must be your servant, and anyone who wants to be first among you must be your slave, just as the Son of man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.'

 
R. Jesus is the suffering servant.
What we do to others, we do to Jesus.
Help us to be humble in our ways.
Help us Mary for our needs, we pray
through your powerful intercession.

   Dear Father,
   I offer up all I do all day united to Jesus in the Mass, in the Holy Spirit,
    through the powerful intercession of Mary, with all the angels and saints,
    and the souls in purgatory, for the priest, the Church, and the world.
 

R. Jesus, my Lord, my God, my all,
help me, now, I love you.

We go to Mass, we eat His body and
we drink His blood.

Through Him, With Him and In Him

R. Without the priest, we wouldn't
have the Eucharist.

Mary: Come to Me, My little children, come into my motherly heart. My heart is filled with love for you. I loved the Father in deepest love. I loved Jesus and I lived with Jesus, and I watched Jesus, I watched my child at His birth and all through His life, I watched Him all through the Passion, I saw Him suffer and die, I saw my Son in His resurrected body and ascending into heaven. Come to my heart, share in my heart the love that I have for my Son Jesus. Love Jesus with my heart, love the Holy Spirit, my Spouse, more and more. I am Mary your mother, it is in coming to my heart, and loving God through my heart that the Immaculate Heart of Mary will triumph on this earth as more and more souls dwell in my Immaculate Heart. I love my little children of this world with such tender love, I love each one of My children. As you love through my heart you will love your brothers with this tender love. God calls you to love God and love one another. Come to my heart, live and dwell in my heart. As I love, you will love more and more. My dear little children, I am Mary, your mother, your mother to lead you on your way.

Sorrowful Mysteries

The Agony in the Garden

1. Mark 14: 32-44

They came to a plot of land called Gethsemane, and he said to his disciples, ‘Stay here while I pray.’ Then he took Peter and James and John with him. And he began to feel terror and anguish. And he said to them, ‘My soul is sorrowful to the point of death. Wait here, and stay awake.’ And going on a little further he threw himself on the ground and prayed that, if it were possible, this hour might pass him by. ‘Abba,  Father!’ he said, ‘For you everything is possible. Take this cup away from me. But let it be as you, not I, would have it.’ He came back and found them sleeping, and he said to Peter, ‘Simon, are you asleep? Had you not the strength to stay awake one hour? Stay awake and pray not to be put to the test. The spirit is willing enough, but human nature is weak.’ Again he went away and prayed, saying the same words. And once more he came back and found them sleeping, their eyes were so heavy; and they could find no answer for him. He came back a third time and said to them, ‘You can sleep on now and have your rest. It is all over. The hour has come. Now the Son of man is to be betrayed into the hands of sinners. Get up! Let us go! My betrayer is not far away.’

And at once, while he was still speaking, Judas, one of the Twelve, came up and with him a number of men armed with swords and clubs, sent by the chief priests and the scribes and the elders. Now the traitor had arranged a signal with them saying, ‘The one I kiss, he is the man. Arrest him, and see he is well guarded when you lead him away.’

2. Be with Jesus in the Garden.

4. Jesus took flesh for love of us. Jesus
    came a man to help us know His way.
    Jesus is the New Adam.
5. Jesus saw all that would reject His
    teachings and with their free will
    chose to ignore Him.
6. Jesus taught us during His public life,
    despite all who argued, ignored Him,
    wanting to stop Him, for what they
    needed to hear.
7. Jesus saw all this rejection, sins,
    disobedience of willful men, arguing,
    ignoring Him in the Garden.
8. Jesus forgives the sinner that is sorry
    and wanting to repent and make right
    what they hurt.
9. Jesus was in such anguish, seeing
    and knowing all this, men who
    would hurt their own soul through
    willfulness, despite all Jesus did and
    His love for them. Jesus was in such
    anguish His sweat became drops of
    Blood on the ground.
10. Envision Jesus in this anguish, see
    the apostles sleeping, Jesus knew
    all the lies, secrets, hate, jealousy,
    maliciousness of all hearts of men
    in sin, those He suffered to save
    and Jesus sweat blood in anguish.
    Envision Jesus in such anguish,
    be there.
    His Sacred Heart so wounded for
    those He loved so much and
    some would lose their soul.

 

The Scourging at the Pillar

1. Matthew 27: 24-26

Then Pilate saw that he was making no impression, that in fact a riot was imminent. So he took some water, washed his hands in front of the crowd and said, ‘I am innocent of this man’s blood. It is your concern.’ And the people, every one of them, shouted back, ‘Let his blood be on us and on our children!’ Then he released Barabbas for them. After having Jesus scourged he handed him over to be crucified.

2. Be there, envision the cruelty with
    which they bound Jesus to a pillar,
    like a terrible criminal.
    We are the ones who have sinned
    in pride and anger and envy and
    slothfulness and lust and gluttony.
    We are the ones who have sinned.
3. Sin offends God who is love. Men
    sin in harsh unloving ways and some
    never admit it or that they are sorry,
    lifelong and some keep telling
    themselves they are right and never
    wrong.
    Some make the occupation of life,
    being right, at all costs to anyone,
    while they offend God in sin.
    Oh God forgive our pompous
    prideful ways!!
4. Jesus paid for all these unloving
    sins, they beat His body, they tore
    His flesh, they made Jesus bleed
    and bleed with their whips.
5. Jesus like an innocent Lamb was
    led to the slaughter.
6. Envision the beating of Jesus,
    hear the blows, look at these big
    men beating Jesus raw and laughing.
7. Oh Jesus, it was me who sinned, I
    acted in selfish unloving ways, I
    am so sorry, Jesus and You died
    so I could share Your Divine life
    in Baptism and be saved. Oh Jesus,
    I am so sorry for my sins. Jesus
    please forgive my sinfulness and
    selfishness.
    Help me to repent and help build
    up the Kingdom of God.
8. We could put a box on our head
    and think our unloving ways
    hardly hurt no one, but the truth
    is the love we give goes on in
    hearts after we die, to a person,
    that can give more love to their
    children and acquaintances and
    so on and so on, for generations!!
    Like ripples on a pond love keeps
    giving.
9. Oh Jesus thank You for showing
    us the way. Thank You for paying
    for our sins with stripes on Your
    back, oh Jesus, I love You so much.
10. Envision all the raw flesh, then
    think of how many unloving ways
    we deny to be right.
    Jesus paid the price, He was beaten
    numb, His flesh flew in the air.
    Jesus stood in a puddle of the
    saving Blood. Amen.
    This is love, is it not?

 

The Crowning with Thorns

1. Matthew 27: 27-31

Then the governor’s soldiers took Jesus with them into the Praetorium and collected the whole cohort round him. And they stripped him and put a scarlet cloak round him, and having twisted some thorns into a crown they put this on his head and placed a reed in his right hand. To make fun of him they knelt to him saying, ‘Hail, king of the Jews!’ And they spat on him and took the reed and struck him on the head with it. And when they had finished making fun of him, they took off the cloak and dressed him in his own clothes and led him away to crucifixion.

2. Eve wanted to be equal to God, isn't
    that what we do when we sin?
3. We are creatures, God the Father
    is the Creator.
4. God the Father created us in love,
    because He wants us in heaven
    someday forever. He is our
    loving Father.
5. Love casts out fear.

1 John 4:17-21

Love comes to its perfection in us when we can face the Day of Judgement fearlessly, because even in this world we have become as he is. In love there is no room for fear, but perfect love drives out fear, because fear implies punishment and no one who is afraid has come to perfection in love. Let us love, then, because he first loved us. Anyone who says 'I love God' and hates his brother, is a liar, since whoever does not love the brother whom he can see cannot love God whom he has not seen. Indeed this is the commandment we have received from him, that whoever loves God, must also love his brother.

6. Romans 8:5-9

Those who are living by their natural inclinations have their minds on the things human nature desires; those who live in the Spirit have their minds on spiritual things. And human nature has nothing to look forward to but death, while the Spirit looks forward to life and peace, because the outlook of disordered human nature is opposed to God, since it does not submit to God's Law, and indeed it cannot, and those who live by their natural inclinations can never be pleasing to God. You, however, live not by your natural inclinations, but by the Spirit, since the Spirit of God has made a home in you. Indeed, anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him.

7. It was us who crowned Jesus' head
    with our sins of pride, jealousy,
    sins done with eyes and tongue and
    ears.
8. Jesus had a crown of holes in His
    precious head.
9. Blood poured down His beautiful
    face.
10. Jesus was consumed in love for
    us and He withstood the pounding
    on His head, the spitting on Him,
    the mockery, the ugly hate they
    gave Jesus, because He loved us
    and loved these men that did it.

 

The Carrying of the Cross

1. Luke 23:26-31

As they were leading him away they seized on a man, Simon from Cyrene, who was coming in from the country, and made him shoulder the cross and carry it behind Jesus. Large numbers of people followed him, and women too, who mourned and lamented for him. But Jesus turned to them and said, ‘Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for me; weep rather for yourselves and for your children. For look, the days are surely coming when people will say, "Blessed are those who are barren, the wombs that have never borne children, the breasts that have never suckled!" Then they will begin to say to the mountains, "Fall on us!"; to the hills, "Cover us!" For if this is what is done to green wood, what will be done when the wood is dry?'

2. Be there in the crowd - envision the
    carrying of the cross. The ugly
    cheering and Jesus carried our sins,
    the blood stained road, the blood-
    stained cross.
3. They made Simon of Cyrene help
    Jesus, would we help the men today
    who need our help carrying their
    cross?
4. Do we see our brothers walking
    with a blood-stained cross, but we
    can't lift a finger, even in Lent.
5. Dear Heavenly Father, help us to see
    the ones you call us to help, help us
    to love those closest to us we can be
    the nastiest to, many times making
    them serve us, instead, and sometimes,
    very ungrateful,
6. Come to me Lord and possess my
    soul, come into my heart and permeate
    my soul. Help me to sit in silence with
    You and let You work in my heart.
7. I am yours Lord, I want to have my
    life in You. I want to do the will of
    the Father. Give me the strength to
    put aside the world and let you operate
    my very being.
8. Heavenly Father I am sorry for my sins.

9. John 3:16

For this is how God loved the world:
he gave his only Son,
so that everyone who believes in him 
    may not perish
but may have eternal life.

The Crucifixion

1. Luke 23: 32-47

Now they were also leading out two others, criminals, to be executed with him. When they reached the place called The Skull, there they crucified him and the two criminals, one on his right, the other on his left. Jesus said, 'Father, forgive them; they do not know what they are doing.' Then they cast lots to share out his clothing.

The people stayed there watching.  As for the leaders, they jeered at him with the words, 'He saved others, let him save himself if he is the Christ of God, the Chosen One.'  The soldiers mocked him too, coming up to him, offering him vinegar, and saying, 'If you are the king of the Jews, save yourself.'  Above him there was an inscription: 'This is the King of the Jews'.

One of the criminals hanging there abused him: 'Are you not the Christ? Save yourself and us as well.'  But the other spoke up and rebuked him.  'Have you no fear of God at all?' he said.  'You got the same sentence as he did, but in our case we deserved it: we are paying for what we did.  But this man has done nothing wrong.'  Then he said, 'Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.'  He answered him, 'In truth I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.'

The veil of the Sanctuary was torn right down the middle. Jesus cried out in a loud voice saying, 'Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.' With these words he breathed his last. When the centurion saw what had taken place, he gave praise to God and said, 'Truly, this was an upright man.'

    hill of Calvary next to Mary.
4. Now think of the gift of the Mass.
    The Mass is the sacrifice of Calvary,
    sacramentally made present.
5. Jesus paid for our sins.
6. Jesus' thoughts were of us when He
    gave us Mary as our Mother.

7. Mary's Message from the Rosary of August 27, 1996

Mary:  I stood beneath the cross of my Son, and my Heart was in such pain for I saw Him before my eyes. I saw Him covered with blood. I saw Him die. My Heart, my children, my Heart to watch my Son, but my Heart, my Heart, how I suffered for my little children of the world that give in to this world and give up the love of my Son. O my little children of light, I give you this message. Carry this light into the darkness for your Mother Mary, for I stood beneath the cross and I cried. I cried for the little ones. I cried for the young ones, the ones that do not care and will lose their souls. How do I make you see for you will not listen to me? What can I do? I come. I appear. I beg. I plead. I give you these gifts from my Son, and you reject me. I do not deliver messages very often anymore for I have been ignored. The message is the same. You do not read the messages I have given to you. Please help me. Help the little children. I appear. I appear. I appear, and I am ignored. I stood beneath the cross, and I cried. I cried, and my Heart was in such anguish for my little children, for I am searching for them this day as I searched for the Child Jesus. Please, please help me. I cannot hold back the hand of my Son any longer. I am Mary, your Mother. I ask you to help my children. You are my children of light.

10. Act of Consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary

Lord Jesus, Chief Shepherd of the flock, I consecrate myself to Your most Sacred Heart. From Your pierced Heart the Church was born, the Church You have called me, as a member of Shepherds of Christ Associates, to serve in a most special way. You reveal Your Heart as a symbol of Your love in all its aspects, including Your most special love for me, whom You have chosen as Your companion in this most important work. Help me to always love You in return. Help me to give myself entirely to You. Help me always to pour out my life in love of God and neighbor! Heart of Jesus, I place my trust in You!

Dear Blessed Virgin Mary, I consecrate myself to your maternal and Immaculate Heart, this Heart which is symbol of your life of love. You are the Mother of my Savior. You are also my Mother. You love me with a most special love as a member of Shepherds of Christ Associates, a movement created by your Son as a powerful instrument for the renewal of the Church and the world. In a return of love, I give myself entirely to your motherly love and protection. You followed Jesus perfectly. You are His first and perfect disciple. Teach me to imitate you in the putting on of Christ. Be my motherly intercessor so that, through your Immaculate Heart, I may be guided to an ever closer union with the pierced Heart of Jesus, Chief Shepherd of the flock.
