Messenger: I wish to tell you about the nursing home ministry.
Jesus has given us messages to be read in nursing homes. Likewise, Mary has given us
messages. These messages are in a large book in very big and bold print. They are also on
a tape with songs and prayers that people can play all day. The tape of messages, songs
and prayers is available from Shepherds of Christ.
Jesus wishes us to reach the elderly with the prayers of the Good Shepherd (Shepherds of Christ
Prayer Manual) and the rosary material.
The prayer manual comes in
very large print and bold letters for the elderly.
I visited the nursing homes and Jesus set up a plan for them.
There are many centers of assisted living. The people in these places
are much more capable of doing all the prayers.
In hospitals and nursing homes the people vary. Some can say the Holy Spirit Prayer, the Prayer for Priests, Prayer to St. Michael and the guardian
angels and the Consecration
Prayers, and that is all.
When I visited the nursing homes, some could listen to five meditations
on one decade of the rosary from the rosary books
and then pray five Hail Marys.
Many nursing home residents we visited could only take a time of 30-45
minutes because they were elderly or ill, but they loved to hear us tell them how much
Jesus loved them and Mary loved them.
We carried large pictures of the Sacred Heart and of the Immaculate
Heart. These are available from Shepherds of Christ Ministries.
We would put them throughout the room if the audience was rather large
so all could see these pictures of Jesus and Mary.
We visited Catholic nursing homes and non-Catholic nursing homes.
They all enjoyed the program immensely.
We would come into some groups not capable of doing as much, and they
would hang very weakly from their chairs. When we began to tell them how important their
lives were to Jesus and how much He loved them, they would sit up in their chairs and be
filled with energy and life.
It is important they realize how powerful their suffering can be as a
prayer offered up for the priests and the renewal of the Church and the world.
Some places would only let us come once a month, some two, some every
week.
If the home was a Catholic nursing home, we tried to bring the Eucharist
and told them about the Eucharist by reading messages from Jesus on the Bread of Life.
To bring the Eucharist to a nursing home is a wonderful ministry, but
one must be a Eucharistic Minister and handle the Eucharist with the greatest respect and
reverence. Some of the residents could only take 1/4 of the Eucharist or a half. If the
Eucharist is divided, one must be extremely careful to guard all particles, for Jesus is
present in every particle of the Eucharist. The Host when divided must be held over a pyx
and particles consumed. The hands must be checked for particles. Jesus is present in the
smallest particle.
When bringing the Eucharist to a nursing home, one must only give the
Eucharist to Catholics who are prepared. It is not correct to give the Eucharist to
everyone present.
What follows is a message read to nursing home residents about the Eucharist.
November 23, 1994 After Communion, 6:00 p.m.
Jesus speaks: I am the bread of life, I come that you might have life and have it to the full. I give Myself to you in the Eucharist. I give you Myself in My divinity and humanity. I become one with you when you receive Me in the Eucharist. I give you Myself. I am God. When you are in the state of grace, you share in My divine life. I pour My life, My grace, out to you in the Eucharist. You are nourished and fed by My body and blood.
I am the true bread sent from heaven to nourish you and give you My life. I give you Myself. This is My great love that I give to you. It is from this giving you are fed. I want to be so close to you. Open your hearts and let Me penetrate you with My life. Let My most Sacred Heart reign forever in your heart. It is through My Mother's Immaculate Heart you will be placed deeply in My Sacred Heart. I am Jesus.
I am God. Where I am there is the Father and the Holy Spirit. The Spirit leads you to greater knowledge of God. Pray to the Holy Spirit to set your hearts on fire with the love of God. It is through Me you will be led to closer union with the Father. You will be led to greater union with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit as your union with Jesus grows.

Messenger: As I give more and more of what I am attached to away, nobody can have a hold on me. I become, more and more, the little dependent baby in His arms. I depend on Him for everything. It is hard to let go of this to be as a little baby, dependent on Him for everything.
If, when I receive Jesus, I receive God, then so, in some form, I receive the Father and Holy Spirit because how do you separate them?
And the doors to the tabernacle open wide and in it we behold Jesus, Son of God, God-made-man. His presence is to be honored, His name worshiped and adored. His glory is forever.
Jesus speaks: I come as a little baby into your midst. I died out of love of you. I come to you today in Holy Communion. This is God-made-man, Son of God, coming in your hearts to dwell with you. Do not focus on your unworthiness. Focus on His love, just for you, to come to you today. I love you so much and God is truly in your mouth. Be close to Me. Let go of yourself. Enter into total union with Me, soul to soul. Be united with Me totally in your spirit. Forget all the cares of this world and let Me dwell in you and work in your heart. Let Me heal your weary soul.
Open wide your gates and I enter in and you remain changed, never the same because Jesus Christ, Son of God, came to you and dwelt in your soul. You are My temple.
Messenger: When attending the nursing homes, we would
always sing.
We have three nursing home books, one for leaders, one with messages,
and another with songs and prayers.
The nursing home people love to sing the songs. We would give them the
booklets with the songs in big print.
It may seem that this is not a very important ministry, but it is very
important to the residents and to Jesus. Older persons can waste away much of their lives
in bitterness, or they can be focusing on Jesus' love for them, offering up their
suffering, and listening to positive tapes that help them.
Our president used the tapes with his grandmother. She loved the tapes
of Jesus' songs, the prayers by Father Carter, the
rosary tapes. He said she would listen to the tapes all day and she would pray with them.
We now have so many more tapes than ever before.
Jesus gave me a message in March, 1995, saying how important the nursing
home ministry was to the Shepherds of Christ Movement.
It has been difficult to do all that Jesus is asking. We need your help.
If you are interested, we have nursing home packets which include the
nursing home tape. Also, tapes are available of Blue
Book messages, songs and messages, the rosary alone, short and long rosary
meditations. Many tapes are available for shut-ins and the elderly.
Jesus wants us to reach them. We need their prayer power. They need to
hear Jesus' messages. They need to hear how much He loves them.

Jesus: I am He Whose bootstraps you are unworthy to fasten and I come to you with greatest love, My beloved dear ones.
Oh how I love thee, oh how I wait for you. I ardently love you with an unfathomable love, yet you keep yourselves at arms length from Me. Some never even come close to Me.
I stand, I knock. I wait so patiently. Gently I treat you. You do not comprehend the great love I have for you.
I beckon you to listen to My words here for I truly speak to you. Remove the crust from your eyes. Pray that you may see with hearts that are open to Me. Clear vision is had in your hearts. You look, you wonder, you roam, you cover your eyes. You close your hearts and I watch you, so gently do I tap. So willful you are and set in your ways.
I knock, I knock, I knock, so gently and patiently. All that you want, all that you need is found in Me, yet you turn your backs and miss My great love for you.
My dear, dear loved ones. I love you with unfathomable love. I knock, I knock, I knock, minute-by-minute, second-by-second. I tend to your needs. Harken to My call. I love you, I love you, I love you. I am Jesus, your Savior, on fire for love of you, My dear, dear chosen ones.
You think I do not know your sufferings. I know everything about you. I
ponder the ways of your heart. I know you far better than you know yourself. I am Jesus,
your beloved spouse, the Bridegroom of your soul. Harken to Me, ever present and alive in
your very soul. I love you. I love you. I love you. This is My love letter to you, My
sweet ones.
February 2, 1995
Jesus speaks: My dear sweet ones, I am Jesus Christ, the Son of God. How I long and thirst for you, My precious souls. I wait for each one of you. I want to be so close to you. You see before you your world. You do not realize how truly present I am. As you breathe, so your heart beats. I am forever with you. My Heart is a burning furnace of endless love.
Time here is so short, here today - gone tomorrow. I came to this earth that you may have life and have it to the full. Life is not life if it is not rooted in Me-it is mere existence. The Father created you with the greatest love. You are His precious child. There is not another person like you. The Father loved you so much He sent His only begotten Son into the world so that you might be saved. I want you to be with Me forever in heaven, joined in such union with the Father and the Holy Spirit. Oh, sweet one, open your heart and pray to Me. Pray to the Spirit to lead you. Life here is but a passing moment, the dropping of a pin, the batting of an eye.
I ask you for two things: Love of God, love of one another. Harken to My call. Close your eyes and open your hearts. Forgive all those who have offended you. It is only in a pure heart that I can be close to you. To hold on to anger and hatred is to make your hearts hard. Your home in Heaven is beyond all comprehension. Live to spread My love that you may forever dwell with Me for all eternity in the courts of heaven.
I love you, I love you, I love you. You are My precious ones. Trade any bitterness you have for My divine love. I love you so much. Offer up your sufferings for the souls that are hurting. It is in loving you will find joy. All that you do, do it for love of God and love of your brother and someday you will inherit a kingdom far beyond your comprehension. Heaven is a reward promised to those who love and serve the Lord. I am the Bread of Life. He who comes to Me will never be hungry. It is in loving, you will find your greatest peace. Come to Me all who are weary and I will give you rest.
Alleluia, Alleluia and He gave to them great graces to be drawn ever closer to His Sacred Heart, the Heart of burning love.
Mary speaks: My dear children, I am your Mother Mary. I ask you to pray the rosary from your heart. Put yourself there in the lives of my Son Jesus and I.
It is in meditating on our lives you will grow more and more into the image of Jesus, my Son. He loves you so much. He gave His flesh and Blood for you. He would die for you, alone this day.
My sweet children, open up your hearts and let me lead you to His loving Heart. He loves you so much!

Jesus speaks: You can use the simplest red hearts with a stick
pin that can be made most cheaply to any hearts which would imply the motto for this
Movement: "I give my heart to Jesus and Mary with you in love and we pray for priests
and the renewal of the Church and the world."
My children, I give you this message. Only the following statement
should accompany every set of hearts: "I give my heart to Jesus and Mary with you in
love and we pray for priests and the renewal of the Church and the world."
Hearts should be given to all school children. They should be very
simple, very cheap in design. When one sees the hearts, they should be reminded to
consecrate their hearts to Jesus and Mary with one another in love.
Give the hearts with the message. To all that are willing, give them a red prayer manual or a sheet with the words.
Some sheets could be printed in red in emphasis of the fact that the
words of these prayers will lead the world into this age of love when the Sacred Heart of
Jesus will reign and the Heart of Mary will triumph.
Messenger: Jesus said other hearts could be made, but the simple
hearts are as trademarks and present a very precious message.
"We give our hearts to Jesus and Mary with you in love and we pray
for priests and the renewal of the Church and the world."
Jesus speaks: These hearts would be made as cheaply as possible
for mass distribution. They should be blessed as a medal and only given to those who agree
to care for them as blessed objects.
Those who wear the hearts and frequently consecrate their hearts to Our
Hearts with others in love will receive enormous grace to dwell more and more in Our
Hearts. Dwelling in Our Hearts is your little heaven on earth.
Consecration to Our Hearts is
necessary for the world to experience peace.
I wish you to have catalogues available with all books, tapes and other
materials, promoting all that We have given you. Statues, bibles, vestments, objects
listed in previous messages, may also be included. The catalogue need not wait until it is
completed. It can be compiled now and more and more added as time permits. This can be
circulated and displayed on the Internet.
It will be necessary to sell items at "cheap" reasonable
prices in order to continue as I wish.
All available materials should be listed in the catalogue. All people
should ask themselves, "How can I help do what Jesus and Mary are asking us to
do?"
How is Satan "guzzling time in my life" that keeps me from
committing as I should? Do I want peace in the world? Do I want to help souls?
You must take your calling seriously. It is through prayer, donations
and commitment, all pulling together as a body, that you will help to save the world.
Will you help Us? Prayer
manuals must always be available in great supply. These will require great funds. I
wish prayer manuals and the Imprimatur
material for the school rosary program, including the Parents and Children's Rosary Book, be
sent to the bishops in foreign countries.
Ask them to help by praying the prayers and the rosary, especially at
6:30 p.m.
Ask them to encourage youth to begin Junior Shepherds of Christ Prayer
Groups. Tell them you will supply the necessary materials needed.
Continue to ask for funds. The shy ones must tell their friends about
the priestly newsletter, prayer chapters and the
rosary program.
In fund raising you can ask people who are not open to private
revelation to support the Imprimatur material.
Put a great emphasis on starting prayer
chapters all over the world, especially in churches at 6:30 p.m., and on praying the
rosary.
You do not have to include every aspect of Shepherds of Christ. Promote
the prayer manual and the rosary (Rosary Aves, consecration
cards for children and the children's rosary
book).
Always the primary purpose of Shepherds of Christ is the ministry of the
Shepherds of Christ priestly newsletter.
Promote the tapes of the newsletter. The quality of such should be from
CD's so that they can be easily reproduced in order to circulate tapes.
CD's should be made from master tape recordings so the highest quality
tapes are made when reproduced and circulated to priests.
Emphasize the Imprimatur material.
Q: What do I feel we can do daily to stay deeply united in all of our activities all day?
Note: Jesus wishes all married couples to pray the Morning Offering together. This can be the short one or the long one, but they should offer their day daily to the Father in union with Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.This is most powerful.
My dear Father, I offer you this day all my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings in union with Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, in the Holy Spirit.
I unite with our Mother Mary, all the angels and saints, and all the souls in purgatory to pray to the Father for myself, for each member of my family, for my friends, for all people throughout the world, for all the souls in purgatory, and for all other intentions of the Sacred Heart.
I love You, Jesus, and I give You my heart. I love you, Mary, and I give you my heart.
My dear Father, I offer You this day all my prayers, works, joys and sufferings, my every breath, my every heartbeat, my every thought, all my actions, in union with Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, in the Holy Spirit. I pray the Holy Spirit is with me every second today, enlightening me to do the will of the Father and filling me with the fire of God's love.
I ask Jesus and Mary to be one in me in all that I do and I unite with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory to pray continually to the Father for these intercessions, in this prayer, for this day.
For myself, I pray for grace-abundant grace, to know and love God more and more and to follow the will of the Father. I pray to the Holy Spirit to transform me in the heart of Mary to be more and more like Jesus. I pray that I can forever dwell in the Hearts of Jesus and Mary. I pray for conversion of all those I hold dear who need conversion. I pray for each member of my family that they will be filled with Your abundant grace to grow in their knowledge and love of God.
I pray for all my friends that they will receive abundant grace to carry out the great plan of the Father, that they will grow forever closer to Jesus' Heart through Mary's heart, that we will all be led by the Holy Spirit to do His work, that we will, together, carry out the plan of the Father as He intends us to, to spread the love of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Mary's heart to this world.
Jesus, I pray for myself so the Holy Spirit descends upon me and opens my heart to Your love so I will grow more and more deeply in union with You. I pray that I do not worry what other people think but try always to please the Father and do His will. I pray that I may help lead many to Your burning love.
I pray for the following people in particular that they will be filled with the Spirit and grow deeply in their union with You, that they will receive abundant graces to know, love and serve You more. (Include special friends by name...)
I pray for priests the world over, for the success of the Priestly Newsletter, the Chapters and for the finances needed for the Newsletter. I pray for the circulation of the Blue Book messages, rosary meditations and tapes. I pray for all those involved in the publication of these messages.
I pray that You will shower Your abundant graces onto the priests reading the Newsletter the people reading and hearing the Blue Book messages and Rosary Meditations and all of Fr. Carter's publications.
We pray for the intentions we hold deep within our hearts, for our families and friends, for those requesting our prayers. We pray for children the world over and for the souls in purgatory. We ask God to shower His abundant grace on us and the members of our Shepherds of Christ chapter so that we may grow more and more in our knowledge and love of God.
We consecrate ourselves to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary. We pray for Father Carter, for Father Smith, for Rita Ring, and for John Weickert, for all leaders and helpers in the Shepherds of Christ Movement, for Shepherds of Christ Ministries, and Our Lady of Light Ministry. We pray for all those who are working in these ministries.
We bind ourselves and our children and our friends to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. We place the precious blood of Jesus on ourselves, and all we touch, so that we will be protected from the evil one. We pray to St. Michael to cast the devil into hell.
We love You, God, we love You, we love You. We beg that we may receive the grace to love You more and more deeply. We adore You, we praise You, our beloved Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
