Consecration Prayer for Peace

I consecrate Russia and the Ukraine to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

I further consecrate the priests, the Church and the world to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary.

I do this in the name of Jesus in as far as I am able, united to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, praying to the Father, in the Holy Spirit, with all the angels and saints and the souls in purgatory through the powerful intercession of Mary, Queen of Peace. Amen.

I further consecrate myself, all members of my family and ask the Holy Spirit to fill us. I spread the Blood of Jesus on all above, I cast the devil into hell away from all of us and consecrate all persons, in as far as I am able,  to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart.

Prayer for Grace for Election and our Country

Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our president and leaders. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.

R. Because of Adam and Eve’s sin
we see with distorted vision.
Our life and search for happiness
is to see more and more - through
the eyes of our Heavenly Father,
the vision of God.

In Baptism we receive the supernatural
virtues of faith, hope and love.

Our knowing and loving capacity is
elevated in Baptism.

We share in God’s knowing activity
from Baptism.
We share in God’s loving activity
from Baptism.

Through the pierced Heart of Jesus,
the Church was born.
Water for Baptism
Blood for the Eucharist.

We receive a sharing in His life in
Baptism
And He feeds this life with Himself in
the Eucharist.

He told me 6 weeks in September -
October, 1991 to “Feed the hungry”.
He told me day and night.

Then He began giving me writings -
love letters.

He called them “the Mighty Medicine”.

Jesus died so we could live.

Christ died - the Church was born.

The Mass is the sacrifice of Calvary,
sacramentally made present.

Grace is outpoured
from the Mass.

We seek the beatific vision in heaven.

Sing: Eye Has Not Seen

This is reality, to see more and more,
the heavenly Father’s vision.

R. This is the picture of Jesus, I had
when I received God’s Blue Book
messages.

Every night in the middle of the night,
Jesus would wake me to give me these
letters of His love.

He said when the book came out, "Open
anywhere and He would talk to us.”

There are 19 + 2 Blue Books and 2
additional Pre-Blue Books.

33 years of letters from Jesus
1991-2024.

For 6 weeks I heard "day and night"
feed the hungry,
33 years ago before Jesus began giving
me these love letters, Fr. Carter’s
writings and Fr. Joe’s homilies.

September, 1991 - October, 1991 the
love letters started at the end of October,
1991.

September 14, 1991 I wrote
(from the Pre-Blue Book 1)
I dreamed Jesus put His arms around me,
and I felt so secure.
Feed the hungry, I have been getting this
for the last six weeks.

October 29, 1991

Jesus: I have sent a shower of grace,
healing and nourishing you. You are My
child, and you are precious in My eyes,
I love you.
Breathe in the goodness, the richness of
God.

God speaks: I have healed you, and you
will be set free – go in the mercy of God.

R. Jesus fed the hungry crowd that had
gathered to hear Him speak.
Jesus gave me these writings to teach us
and feed our hungry souls.

Here is a quote from Fr. Joe, my brother,
in a homily he gave 30 years ago: “The
gospel reminds us the Lord is attentive to
all of our needs, even our physical needs.
Let’s not forget the Lord feeds us daily,
the sun and the rain, the soil, and the seed
are all miracles that we usually just take
for granted. However, the Lord wants us
to get involved in his work too, the Lord
generally cares for us through the gifts he
gives us to help each other. If we let the
Lord live in us, and reach out to others
through us, he can, and will do great
things.”

The Feast day of Saint Ignatius, Loyola
is July 31st. He founded the Jesuits, the
Society of Jesus. There is a prayer he
wrote in the Spiritual Exercises that
would be an appropriate closing today.
“Take, Lord receive, take whatever I am,
and have. You have given it all to me.
Now I give it all back to you. Do with
it whatever you wish. Give me only
your love and your grace. With these,
I am rich enough and desire, nothing
more.”

Joyful Mysteries

The Annunciation

1. Luke 1: 26-38

In the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a town in Galilee called Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man named Joseph, of the House of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary. He went in and said to her, ‘Rejoice, you who enjoy God’s favour! The Lord is with you.’ She was deeply disturbed by these words and asked herself what this greeting could mean, but the angel said to her, ‘Mary, do not be afraid; you have won God’s favour. Look! You are to conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you must name him Jesus. He will be great and will be called Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his ancestor David; he will rule over the House of Jacob for ever and his reign will have no end.’ Mary said to the angel, ‘But how can this come about, since I have no knowledge of man?’ The angel answered, ‘The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will cover you with its shadow. And so the child will be holy and will be called Son of God. And I tell you this too: your cousin Elizabeth also, in her old age, has conceived a son, and she whom people called barren is now in her sixth month, for nothing is impossible to God.’ Mary said, ‘You see before you the Lord’s servant, let it happen to me as you have said.’ And the angel left her.

2. The Angel Gabriel appeared to Mary,
and asked her to be the Mother of God.
3. Mary always did the will of the Father.
4. Mary said “yes”.
5. The angel told Mary “Be not afraid.”
6. Sing: Be Not Afraid

7. Sing: See the Eyes That Look at Mary

8. The Angel told Mary, Elizabeth
    was with child.
9. “For nothing is impossible with
    God.”
10. God loved us first.

The Visitation

1. Luke 1: 39-45

Mary set out at that time and went as quickly as she could into the hill country to a town in Judah. She went into Zechariah’s house and greeted Elizabeth. Now it happened that as soon as Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the child leapt in her womb and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. She gave a loud cry and said, ‘Of all women you are the most blessed, and blessed is the fruit of your womb. Why should I be honoured with a visit from the mother of my Lord? Look, the moment your greeting reached my ears, the child in my womb leapt for joy. Yes, blessed is she who believed that the promise made her by the Lord would be fulfilled.’

2. Mary went to visit her cousin
    Elizabeth.
3. The babe in Elizabeth's womb
    leapt for joy.
4. "Nothing is impossible with God."
5. Elizabeth was thought barren.
6. John the Baptist was Jesus' cousin.
7. Mary stayed with Elizabeth about
    3 months.
8. Mary said: “My soul doth magnify
    the Lord."
9. Mary said: "My spirit rejoices in
    God my Savior."
10. Mary said "And holy is His name."

The Birth of Jesus

1. Luke 2: 8-14

In the countryside close by there were shepherds out in the fields keeping guard over their sheep during the watches of the night. An angel of the Lord stood over them and the glory of the Lord shone round them. They were terrified, but the angel said, ‘Do not be afraid. Look, I bring you news of great joy, a joy to be shared by the whole people. Today in the town of David a Saviour has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord. And here is a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger.’ And all at once with the angel there was a great throng of the hosts of heaven, praising God with the words:

Glory to God in the highest heaven,

2. John: 3:16

For this is how God loved the world:
he gave his only Son,
so that everyone who believes in him
    may not perish
but may have eternal life.

3. Jesus came in poverty.
4. Jesus was Mary's little baby.
5. Mary laid Jesus in a manger.
6. There was not room in the Inn.
7. Is there room for Jesus in our hearts?
8. Open your heart to the Lord.
9. Jesus loves us so much.
10. Sing: I am the Bread of Life

The Presentation in the Temple

1. Luke 2: 25-35

Now in Jerusalem there was a man named Simeon. He was an upright and devout man; he looked forward to the restoration of Israel and the Holy Spirit rested on him. It had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not see death until he had set eyes on the Christ of the Lord. Prompted by the Spirit he came to the Temple; and when the parents brought in the child Jesus to do for him what the Law required, he took him into his arms and blessed God; and he said:

    Now, Master, you are letting
        your servant go in peace
    as you promised;
for my eyes have seen the salvation
    which you have made ready
        in the sight of the nations;
a light of revelation for the gentiles
and glory for your people Israel.

As the child’s father and mother were wondering at the things that were being said about him, Simeon blessed them and said to Mary his mother, ‘Look, he is destined for the fall and for the rise of many in Israel, destined to be a sign that is opposed—and a sword will pierce your soul too — so that the secret thoughts of many may be laid bare.'

2. Simeon met Mary, Joseph and
    Jesus.
3. Simeon told Mary and Jesus of
    sufferings to come.
4. A sword too will pierce your heart,
    O Mary.
5. The Seven Sorrows of Mary is a
    great devotion.
6. Fr. Carter said this in the Prayer
    Manual:

Mary has promised very special graces to those who do this on a daily basis. Included in the promises of Our Lady for those who practice this devotion is her pledge to give special assistance at the hour of death, including the sight of her face.

7. The Seven Sorrows are:

    1) The prophecy of Simeon
    2) The flight into Egypt
    3) The loss of the Child Jesus in the temple
    4) Jesus and Mary meet on the way to the cross
    5) Jesus dies on the cross
    6) Jesus is taken down from the cross and laid in Mary's arms
    7) The burial of Jesus

8. Mary's Message from the Rosary of August 27, 1996

Mary:  I stood beneath the cross of my Son, and my Heart was in such pain for I saw Him before my eyes. I saw Him covered with blood. I saw Him die. My Heart, my children, my Heart to watch my Son, but my Heart, my Heart, how I suffered for my little children of the world that give in to this world and give up the love of my Son. O my little children of light, I give you this message. Carry this light into the darkness for your Mother Mary, for I stood beneath the cross and I cried. I cried for the little ones. I cried for the young ones, the ones that do not care and will lose their souls. How do I make you see for you will not listen to me? What can I do? I come. I appear. I beg. I plead. I give you these gifts from my Son, and you reject me. I do not deliver messages very often anymore for I have been ignored. The message is the same. You do not read the messages I have given to you. Please help me. Help the little children. I appear. I appear. I appear, and I am ignored. I stood beneath the cross, and I cried. I cried, and my Heart was in such anguish for my little children, for I am searching for them this day as I searched for the Child Jesus. Please, please help me. I cannot hold back the hand of my Son any longer. I am Mary, your Mother. I ask you to help my children. You are my children of light.

9. Mary did the Father's will always.
10. Mary is our Mother of love.

The Finding in the Temple

1. Luke 2: 46-52

It happened that, three days later, they found him in the Temple, sitting among the teachers, listening to them, and asking them questions; and all those who heard him were astounded at his intelligence and his replies. They were overcome when they saw him, and his mother said to him, ‘My child, why have you done this to us? See how worried your father and I have been, looking for you.’ He replied, ‘Why were you looking for me? Did you not know that I must be in my Father’s house?’ But they did not understand what he meant. He went down with them then and came to Nazareth and lived under their authority. His mother stored up all these things in her heart. And Jesus increased in wisdom, in stature, and in favour with God and with people.

2. Mary was in such sorrow losing Jesus.
3. Mary and Joseph found Jesus talking
to the doctors in the Temple.
4. Jesus lived the quiet life for 30 years,
one break in this is the Finding in the
    Temple.
5. Mary kept all these events in Jesus'
    life in her heart.
6. Mary was selfless.
7. Mary was conceived sinless.
8. Mary is our model.

9. Act of Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary

Dear Blessed Virgin Mary, I consecrate myself to your maternal and Immaculate Heart, this Heart which is symbol of your life of love. You are the Mother of my Savior. You are also my Mother. You love me with a most special love as a member of Shepherds of Christ Associates, a movement created by your Son as a powerful instrument for the renewal of the Church and the world. In a return of love, I give myself entirely to your motherly love and protection. You followed Jesus perfectly. You are His first and perfect disciple. Teach me to imitate you in the putting on of Christ. Be my motherly intercessor so that, through your Immaculate Heart, I may be guided to an ever closer union with the pierced Heart of Jesus, Chief Shepherd of the flock.

10. Act of Consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus

Lord Jesus, Chief Shepherd of the flock, I consecrate myself to Your most Sacred Heart. From Your pierced Heart the Church was born, the Church You have called me, as a member of Shepherds of Christ Associates, to serve in a most special way. You reveal Your Heart as a symbol of Your love in all its aspects, including Your most special love for me, whom You have chosen as Your companion in this most important work. Help me to always love You in return. Help me to give myself entirely to You. Help me always to pour out my life in love of God and neighbor! Heart of Jesus, I place my trust in You!

R. Believe, have faith, do not give up
on what God is calling us to do.

Dear God,
Please help us to see with clear vision,
what you want us to do.

Dear God,
Please help us to have faith. When we
are weak, we are strong in Him.

Dear God,
please feed us with the Bread of Life:
the Word and the Eucharist.

R. Fr. Joe’s Book is focused on the Word
and the Eucharist.
For 6 weeks before I received messages,
I heard night and day - 33 years ago
“Feed the Hungry”. (1991)

In Baptism, we receive a sharing in His life.
God feeds us with the Eucharist. From
His pierced Heart on the cross: Blood and
water came forth.
Water for Baptism
Blood for the Eucharist.

In Fr. Joe’s book there are homilies for
the Sundays of the Church year.

We have sent about a million of Fr. Joe’s
books in 15 years
to priests and hierarchy
centered in the Word and Eucharist to
feed our hungry souls.

R. Jesus loves us so much and gives
us so much to feed our hungry soul.

Please pray for our circulating these
books to the priests.

From Fr. Joe’s homily book

6th Sunday in Ordinary Time
February 13, 2000

INTRODUCTION – (Lv 13:1-2, 44-46; 1 Cor 10:31- 11:1; Mark 1:40-45) One of the jobs of priests in the Old Testament was to act like a dermatologist and decide whether a person with a certain skin disease could be contagious. Whatever the disease was, if it was judged contagious it was called leprosy. The disease we hear about in today’s first reading appears to be something like ringworm. If it was decided a person had leprosy, the diseased person was suddenly homeless, without job or family. He or she had to live outside the city, could not associate with relatives or friends, they had to warn people when they were approaching, their home was tombs or caves and they made their living by begging from those traveling to or from the city or town. It would be a horrible sentence to have to condemn someone to. On the other hand, if the priest made the wrong decision and left the person stay around, he could jeopardize the health of the whole community. I’m glad I wasn’t a priest way back then. For two chapters the book of Leviticus lays out rules on how to deal with leprosy. Today’s first reading is a small section from this part of Leviticus. The rules were harsh, but in those primitive times they were necessary for the survival of the community. This reading is meant to prepare us for the gospel where we see that the power of Jesus and his love deals with sickness in a different way. He reaches out to the isolated and sick person and restores both their health and their ability to be reinstated in community. It is something of an irony that he ends up isolating himself because people gave him no rest.

HOMILY – This story comes from Chicken Soup for the Soul. It was a bitter cold evening in northern Virginia many years ago. An old man stood by a shallow river waiting for someone to come along who could give him a ride across the river. There was no footpath. As he waited, half frozen, along came several riders galloping toward him. He let the first one go by without an effort to get his attention. Then another passed by, then another. Finally, as the last one approached, the old man caught the rider’s eye and said, “Sir, would you mind giving an old man a ride to the other side? There’s no passage way by foot.” Reining his horse, the rider replied, “Sure. Hop aboard.” Seeing the old man was too cold and stiff to climb up on the horse, the horseman dismounted and helped the old man up. The rider took the old man not just across the river, but to the old man’s home, which was just a few miles away. As they neared his tiny cottage, the rider’s curiosity caused him to inquire, “Sir, I noticed that you let several other riders pass by without making an effort to secure a ride. Why did you let all the others pass you by and wait for me to ask me to take you across? What if I had refused and just left you standing there?” As the old man lowered himself down from the horse, he looked the rider in the eye and replied, “I’ve been around these here parts for some time. I reckon I know people pretty well. I looked into the eyes of the other riders and immediately saw they had no concern for my situation.

It would have been useless to even ask them for a ride. When I looked into your eyes, kindness and compassion were there. I knew you would be willing to help me.” The rider replied, “Thank you for your kind words. I hope I’m never too busy that I fail to respond to the needs of others with kindness and compassion.” With that, Thomas Jefferson turned his horse around and made his way back to the White House.

Thomas Jefferson is getting some nasty press these days. I thought it would be refreshing to hear something positive about him. I thought this would be a good story for Valentine’s day too. There are lots of ways to show love, and most of the love that this world is in need of is not the romantic sort, despite the media’s preoccupation with just this one kind.

Today at Mass we celebrate a love that reaches out to us, a love that is infinite, a love that was willing to come down, not from a horse, but from his throne on high as Son of God and put on the weakness of our human flesh, a love that was powerful enough to heal the sick and raise the dead, a love that restored to a poor leper not only his health, but his home and his family and in so doing he made himself unclean by Jewish law because he touched a leper and made himself unable to mingle with others because he was so much in demand. His is a love that was willing to give everything to those he loved, even his own life. But the good news is that the evil powers that took his life did not succeed in the end, for the gift of his life brought about resurrected life for all who believe in him. His love was too powerful to be crushed. And in his love he continues to give himself as food and drink for those who believe in him; not just any food and drink but a food and drink that will give eternal life.

Today we come to the origin and source of all love with our own failures and sins that get in the way of our own ability to love. With the pain we have caused and with the scars from wounds inflicted on us, we ask for healing. Wherever we need healing, in our bodies, in our hearts, in our ability to be more loving toward others, we ask the Lord to reach out and touch us and say to us “be healed.”

R. Mary is our spiritual Mother.
Mary is Mother of the Church.

John 19:27
“Behold thy Mother”

Mary is Mediatrix of Grace.

Christ is King of the Universe.
Mary is Queen of the Universe.

Matthew 22:37-39

Jesus said to him, 'You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and the first commandment. The second resembles it: You must love your neighbour as yourself. On these two commandments hang the whole Law, and the Prophets too.'

R. Mary is full of grace.

Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle B of the Litugical Year (2011/2012)
$ 10.00

Guiding Light homily series — Reflect on the Word — Cycle B     The Word leaves an impression on our souls. In my thoughts and reflections are born a more tangible understanding of these eternal concepts presented in the Gospels and the readings. Anyone can read a sentence, but not anyone can absorb it's true meaning. Truth, in this day and age, is almost a matter of opinion or individual entitlement. We believe that Christ's truth is our Roman Catholic Church. We, as priests, champion it's teachings; we are ambassadors for the Pope and Christ to those faces looking at us. We are the light by which our congregation reads to reflect upon real truth and we do it hand in hand. $10

Guiding Light - Steadfast to the Son
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle A of the Litugical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light homily series — Steadfast to the Son — Cycle A    The sunflower is a great example of how we should be steadfastly guided by light. What a powerful thought that this exceptional plant is not stuck in one pose day in and day out, yet adaptable and magnetized to the sun. We feel the same about our Son. Our heads turns to face Christ as each day presents its challenges to find light. We join together like plants in a field and soak up the Son through the pulpit. We are a warm circle of strength using the wind of our breath to carry our priests' words, Christ's words, to new rich soil. $10

Guiding Light - Focusing on the Word
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle B of the Litugical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light — Focusing on the Word — Cycle B    At times we may feel that our path to Christ is a bit "out of focus". Like the disciples in the Book of Mark, this ordinary life clouds our vision of Christ's Divinity. We may doubt the practicality or possibility of applying His teachings and example to our modern life. Cycle B's homilies are a "guiding light" to help us realize Jesus' Messianic greatness and His promise of better things to come. $10

Guiding Light - Feed My Soul
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle C of the Litugical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light — Feed My Soul — Cycle C    In a world rapidly advancing and encouraging personal gain, we are faced with modern problems. There is a challenge to find time in our busy schedules for Sunday Mass or a family meal. We are able to research, shop, bank and even work without hearing one human voice. It is no wonder that we may often feel disconnected and famished at our week's end. In Fr. Joe's third book of homilies from Cycle C, we are reminded of the charity that Christ intended us to show each other. We have a calling to turn the other cheek and be the Good Samaritan to others. We are rewarded with the Father's kingdom and love when we are not worthy. We are not left alone or hungry. $10
