Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our president and leaders. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.

R. Do you feel the presence of the
Father, Son and Holy Spirit?

The Father, has a plan for us.
God wants this relationship with us.
We are here to grow in our intimacy
with God.
In this Lent we can spend time
alone with God and think of the
presence of the Father, Son and
Holy Spirit in our heart.

Jesus: Be alone with Me, close
your eyes, think of the presence of
God, All three Persons, dwelling in
your heart.

Meditate, empty your mind, think
only of the presence of God. Make
a spiritual communion, now.

Take time, be alone with Me.

Everyday during Lent, morning and
night, empty your mind, make a
spiritual communion, think of God’s
presence with you, close your eyes,
be alone with Me.

This will help you to grow in God’s
presence all day, the more you do
this, all thru Lent.

I went into the desert to pray for
40 days and be with My Father,
practice this every day during Lent.
Being alone with God. Knowing
My presence!!!!

Novena to St. Joseph, Patron and Father (2024)

Begins March 11, 2024 - March 19, 2024

Dear Saint Joseph,

I turn to you, you who cared and
protected the child Jesus and the
Virgin Mary.
You taught men and women, the
love of God by your example in life,
and by your faithfulness of living
your calling in greatest commitment
and love.

You loved Mary and Jesus with the
most gentle, bonds of love.

You showed us how you
lived in loving conformity to the
Heavenly Father’s will.

You guided Jesus and Mary’s precious
lives with the Holy Spirit, Spouse of
the Virgin Mother of God.

Protect us and our family this day and
every day of our lives, like
you did the Holy Family of Nazareth.
We seek your powerful intercession.

How intimately you knew and loved
Jesus and Mary. You were so close to
them. You showed us love.

Your heart was pure and gentle and
yet you were strong in being their
manly protector on earth, intercede
for us to depend more and more on
God for all our needs, for when we
are weak we are strong in God.

St. Joseph please intercede for a
peaceful and holy death for us and
our sick loved ones.
Amen.

St. Joseph help us now in this nine
day novena to you.

R. Today is the Feast of St. Joseph.

Let us rejoice that God gave us such
a great gift as St. Joseph!!!

God is Light and in Him is no darkness.

Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
He is so good to us.
Seek His truth always.
Follow the Good Shepherd, listen to
His voice.

The Father said at Mt. Tabor "This is
My Beloved Son in whom I am well
pleased, listen to Him."

The devil comes in pride, how many
are, because of pride, holding out in
anger, trying to prove they are always
right.

The devil works in the deadly sins,
bad habits, always being on top,
proving oneself right, anger at the
brothers we are to love, jealousy and
envy at our brothers, slothfulness,
feeling sorry for our own miserable
choice.

Every day is a new day.
Praise, love, honor, worship our God.
Put God first.
Seek virtuous living - good habits -
faith, hope, love, humility, obedience,
fortitude, justice, prudence.

Pray to be possessed by the Holy Spirit.
God is light and in Him is no darkness.
 

Prayer for Union with Jesus

Come to me, Lord, and possess my soul. Come into my heart and permeate my soul. Help me to sit in silence with You and let You work in my heart.

    I am Yours to possess. I am Yours to use. I want to be selfless and only exist in You. Help me to spoon out all that is me and be an empty vessel ready to be filled by You. Help me to die to myself and live only for You. Use me as You will. Let me never draw my attention back to myself. I only want to operate as You do, dwelling within me.

    I am Yours, Lord. I want to have my life in You. I want to do the will of the Father. Give me the strength to put aside the world and let You operate my very being. Help me to act as You desire. Strengthen me against the distractions of the devil to take me from Your work.

    When I worry, I have taken my focus off of You and placed it on myself. Help me not to give in to the promptings of others to change what in my heart You are making very clear to me. I worship You, I adore You and I love You. Come and dwell in me now.

A Prayer for Intimacy with the Lamb, the Bridegroom of the Soul

     Oh Lamb of God, Who take away the sins of the world, come and act on my soul most intimately. I surrender myself, as I ask for the grace to let go, to just be as I exist in You and You act most intimately on my soul. You are the Initiator. I am the soul waiting Your favors as You act in me. I love You. I adore You. I worship You. Come and possess my soul with Your Divine Grace, as I experience You most intimately.

R. I empty myself of everything but
Him, as to be filled by Him.
I go to the Holy Spirit to counsel me.
I ask to be infused with the Holy
Spirit’s gifts and know God and see
through His eyes to lovingly live
according to the Father’s will.


Grace is everything.

Jesus paid a precious price so we
could die to our ways not like Christ
and rise in Him.

We see the snow-covered massive
mountains, in such beauty and we
think of the power of God.

Jesus is the Light of the world.
In Him is life.
Oh God, I love You so much!!!

Jesus is the Good Shepherd. He
lays down His life for His sheep.

Jesus gave His all as He died on
the hill of Calvary.

It’s about dying to self, to rise to
new life.
In all we do in giving to others.
A spouse carrying for their terminally
ill mate, they die to self more and
more and God gives new life in that
love and sacrifice.

God is the ultimate mystery.
We live the life, death and
resurrection of Jesus in our lives.
Sing: Crown Him with Many Crowns

Jesus did not wear a crown of gold,
but a crown of thorns.
Jesus did this for me.
Jesus loves me. Jesus died for me.


Mary trusted God.

Mary taught us to love Jesus her Son.
Mary said the rosary is so powerful,
we need to pray the rosary from our
heart.

From Mary we learn that she loved
the Father’s will.
Mary is the perfect handmaid of Jesus.

Matthew 1:21

She will give birth to a son and you must name him Jesus, because he is the one who is to save his people from their sins.'

HOMILY - ...And so the Church reminds us that Mary was born for the sake of Jesus. Again, in celebrating her birth, the Church links her very, very directly with Jesus. Yes, this is the reason for her birth: to be Mother of Jesus, and in doing that, everything else about her takes its proper place. And just as Mary was dedicated entirely to Jesus and to His cause, we in giving her a birthday present of the highest value can only promise her, "Mary, as you were completely dedicated to Jesus, help me be completely dedicated to Him. You were His first and perfect disciple. Teach me to imitate you in the putting on of Christ."

HOMILY – (John 19: 31-37) Here is an account from Mother Teresa concerning one of the many dying people that she in her lifetime ministered to in the slums of Calcutta: She says, "To die in peace with God is the culmination of any human life. Of those who have died in our houses, I have never seen anyone die in despair or cursing. They have all died serenely. I took a man I had picked up from the street to our house for the dying in Calcutta. When I was leaving he told me, 'I have lived like an animal on the streets, but I am going to die like an angel. I will die smiling.' He did die smiling because he felt loved and surrounded by care. That is the greatness of the poor.

This is such a great desire of the human heart, put there by God: the desire to be loved and to love, and as we well know, our identity rests on the fact that God has loved us overwhelmingly in Christ Jesus. And we have to allow this truth to penetrate our beings more and more. God has allowed this to take place so easily, giving us devotion to the Heart of Christ, which if only we allow it day after day does the symbol of Christ's Heart remind us of God's overwhelming love for us in Jesus, and that in regard to each one of us,
this is our sense of security. If this poor man could be so overwhelmed by the human love given by a human person, human persons, as he was dying, if this could make such a difference in his existence at that last moment so that he died as he said, "like an angel," how much more should the growing realization of the fact that we are loved by Jesus Christ, how much more that should make us serene despite all the crosses we have to endure.

And so each day let us remember this pierced, glorified Heart of Jesus, symbol of His life of love including His most special love for each of us and respond to that love with a love of our own as we love God and our neighbor in the Heart of Christ. What a wonderful existence to know that I am overwhelmingly loved by Christ Jesus.

Sorrowful Mysteries

The Agony in the Garden

1. Matthew 26: 36-46

Then Jesus came with them to a plot of land called Gethsemane; and he said to his disciples, 'Stay here while I go over there to pray.' He took Peter and the two sons of Zebedee with him. And he began to feel sadness and anguish. Then he said to them, 'My soul is sorrowful to the point of death. Wait here and stay awake with me.' And going on a little further he fell on his face and prayed. 'My Father,' he said, 'if it is possible, let this cup pass me by. Nevertheless, let it be as you, not I, would have it.' He came back to the disciples and found them sleeping, and he said to Peter, 'So you had not the strength to stay awake with me for one hour? Stay awake, and pray not to be put to the test. The spirit is willing enough, but human nature is weak.' Again, a second time, he went away and prayed: 'My Father,' he said, 'if this cup cannot pass by, but I must drink it, your will be done!' And he came back again and found them sleeping, their eyes were so heavy. Leaving them there, he went away again and prayed for the third time, repeating the same words. Then he came back to the disciples and said to them, 'You can sleep on now and have your rest. Look, the hour has come when the Son of man is to be betrayed into the hands of sinners. Get up! Let us go! Look, my betrayer is not far away.'

2. By His wounds we were healed.
3. Jesus suffered so much anguish in
    the Garden, He sweat blood.
4. The apostles slept. Jesus said "You
    could not watch one hour with Me?"
5. They arrested Jesus. Judas betrayed
    Jesus with a kiss.
6. Judas sold Jesus for 30 pieces of silver.
7. Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, I trust
    in Thee.
8. "Father, Father", Jesus called to His
    Father in the Garden.
9. The devil doesn’t give up, he wants
    souls for hell.

The Scourging at the Pillar

1. Luke 23: 15-19, 22

...As you can see, the man has done nothing that deserves death, so I shall have him flogged and then let him go.' But as one man they howled, 'Away with him! Give us Barabbas!' (This man had been thrown into prison because of a riot in the city and murder.)

And for the third time he spoke to them, 'But what harm has this man done? I have found no case against him that deserves death, so I shall have him flogged and then let him go.'

2. Jesus was whipped raw.
3. The men used all their energy to
    keep at Jesus with whips.
4. Satan tempts people to oppose
    God and be focused on themselves.
    The first commandment says:
    God must be first.
5. We are to die to the ways, not like
    Jesus to rise to new life in Him.
6. Dying to ourselves can mean giving
    ourselves to help a sick person.
7. We die to ourselves when we allow
    the Holy Spirit to work to help us
    die to bad habits.
8. Dying to ourselves can be a mother
    caring for her little ones to give
    others our love.
9. Jesus was whipped for our sins.
10. Jesus gave and gave Himself, love
    gives for the good of the other.
    Jesus is the Son of God.

 

The Crowning with Thorns

1. Matthew 27: 27-31

Then the governor’s soldiers took Jesus with them into the Praetorium and collected the whole cohort round him. And they stripped him and put a scarlet cloak round him, and having twisted some thorns into a crown they put this on his head and placed a reed in his right hand. To make fun of him they knelt to him saying, ‘Hail, king of the Jews!’ And they spat on him and took the reed and struck him on the head with it. And when they had finished making fun of him, they took off the cloak and dressed him in his own clothes and led him away to crucifixion.

2. Sing: Crown Him with Many Crowns
3. Jesus endured all their treatment,
    they mocked Him, spit on Him.
4. They were full of energy to abuse
    Jesus and dress Him as a King
    they mocked.
5. God created us for Him. He loves
    us so much, He endured all this
    torture and abuse.
6. Jesus had a crown of holes in His
    head from the thorns.
7. God gave us a free will to choose
    to do His will in love.
8. We are to die to ourselves and
    selfish self-enclosure and rise to
    new life in Him.
9. Jesus is to be first in our lives.
10. Those that focus more and more
    on themselves over others, can live
    in disorder, when they put
    themselves as a ruler in pride.

 

The Carrying of the Cross

1. Luke 23:26-31

As they were leading him away they seized on a man, Simon from Cyrene, who was coming in from the country, and made him shoulder the cross and carry it behind Jesus. Large numbers of people followed him, and women too, who mourned and lamented for him. But Jesus turned to them and said, ‘Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for me; weep rather for yourselves and for your children. For look, the days are surely coming when people will say, "Blessed are those who are barren, the wombs that have never borne children, the breasts that have never suckled!" Then they will begin to say to the mountains, "Fall on us!"; to the hills, "Cover us!" For if this is what is done to green wood, what will be done when the wood is dry?'

2. Jesus endured the heavy cross
    laden with the sins of the world.
3. It was so heavy He fell under the
    cross.
4. Jesus took all their torture.
    Jesus was the show. They were
    aggressively attacking Him even
    as He carried the cross.
5. We pray to God for help from the
    Holy Spirit to carry our crosses
    and serve our God.
6. The devil roams the world looking
    for souls to devour.
    There are bad angels and good
    angels.
7. We pray through the intercession
    of the good angels.
8. Jesus paid a big price because He
    wants to take us to heaven someday.
9. We have a free will to choose life
    or death.
    A blessing or a curse.
10. Satan wants us to listen to satan
    and give into bad habits - the deadly
    sins - these sins are focused on self
    and hurting others.
    We have a free will to control our
    depraved passions.

    We are to be obedient to God’s laws.
    We are to walk in humility, serving
    God and live virtuously.

 

The Crucifixion

1. Luke 23: 32-47

Now they were also leading out two others, criminals, to be executed with him. When they reached the place called The Skull, there they crucified him and the two criminals, one on his right, the other on his left. Jesus said, 'Father, forgive them; they do not know what they are doing.' Then they cast lots to share out his clothing.

The people stayed there watching.  As for the leaders, they jeered at him with the words, 'He saved others, let him save himself if he is the Christ of God, the Chosen One.'  The soldiers mocked him too, coming up to him, offering him vinegar, and saying, 'If you are the king of the Jews, save yourself.'  Above him there was an inscription: 'This is the King of the Jews'.

One of the criminals hanging there abused him: 'Are you not the Christ? Save yourself and us as well.'  But the other spoke up and rebuked him.  'Have you no fear of God at all?' he said.  'You got the same sentence as he did, but in our case we deserved it: we are paying for what we did.  But this man has done nothing wrong.'  Then he said, 'Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.'  He answered him, 'In truth I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.'

The veil of the Sanctuary was torn right down the middle. Jesus cried out in a loud voice saying, 'Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.' With these words he breathed his last. When the centurion saw what had taken place, he gave praise to God and said, 'Truly, this was an upright man.'

2. Christ really died. He was the
    innocent victim led to the slaughter
    for our sins.
3. Christ tells us to die to our sinful
    ways, if we want to rise in Him.
4. Come to me Lord and possess my
    soul
    Come into my heart and permeate
    my soul.
5. We will not rest until we rest in
    Him. Fill our hearts with the spirit
    of true obedience to the Lord.
    In the Our Father it says… and lead
    us not into temptation, but deliver
    us from evil.

    We are to die to our sinful self.
    Jesus died on the cross.
6. Judas was self-focused, tricks behind
    Jesus’ back, manipulative betraying
    Him with a kiss.
    Judas was full of self, full of satan.

    The bad thief full of self, full of satan.
7. It’s a spiritual battle, the fight against
    God’s truth is rooted in the deadly
    sins. Satan is the evil spirit, the ruler
    of darkness. We are the little child
    loved and created by God the Father.
    God the Father wants us to go to
    heaven someday.

    We can’t hold onto sinful self,
    indulgence and live a new life in God.
    God must be first.
    We empty ourselves and are filled
    by the Spirit of God and live virtuously.

8. The Spirit of God counsels us to die
    to self and be filled by God.
    When we take care of a sick spouse,
    we die to self, what we do to others,
    we do to Jesus.

    We should die to self and keep trying
    every day, all day, to lovingly do the
    Father’s will who created us.
9. I empty myself of everything but Him,
    as to be filled by Him.
    I go to the Holy Spirit to counsel me.
    I ask to be infused with the Holy Spirit’s
    gifts and know God and see through His
    eyes to lovingly live according to the
    Father’s will.

Mary's Message
from the Rosary of August 27, 1996

Mary:  I stood beneath the cross of my Son, and my Heart was in such pain for I saw Him before my eyes. I saw Him covered with blood. I saw Him die. My Heart, my children, my Heart to watch my Son, but my Heart, my Heart, how I suffered for my little children of the world that give in to this world and give up the love of my Son. O my little children of light, I give you this message. Carry this light into the darkness for your Mother Mary, for I stood beneath the cross and I cried. I cried for the little ones. I cried for the young ones, the ones that do not care and will lose their souls. How do I make you see for you will not listen to me? What can I do? I come. I appear. I beg. I plead. I give you these gifts from my Son, and you reject me. I do not deliver messages very often anymore for I have been ignored. The message is the same. You do not read the messages I have given to you. Please help me. Help the little children. I appear. I appear. I appear, and I am ignored. I stood beneath the cross, and I cried. I cried, and my Heart was in such anguish for my little children, for I am searching for them this day as I searched for the Child Jesus. Please, please help me. I cannot hold back the hand of my Son any longer. I am Mary, your Mother. I ask you to help my children. You are my children of light.
