Consecration Prayer for Peace

I consecrate Russia and the Ukraine to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

I further consecrate the priests, the Church and the world to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary.

I do this in the name of Jesus in as far as I am able, united to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, praying to the Father, in the Holy Spirit, with all the angels and saints and the souls in purgatory through the powerful intercession of Mary, Queen of Peace. Amen.

I further consecrate myself, all members of my family and ask the Holy Spirit to fill us. I spread the Blood of Jesus on all above, I cast the devil into hell away from all of us and consecrate all persons, in as far as I am able,  to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart.

Prayer for Grace for Election and our Country

Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our president and leaders. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.

R. Do you feel the presence of the
Father, Son and Holy Spirit?

The Father, has a plan for us.
God wants this relationship with us.
We are here to grow in our intimacy
with God.
In this Lent we can spend time
alone with God and think of the
presence of the Father, Son and
Holy Spirit in our heart.

Jesus: Be alone with Me, close
your eyes, think of the presence of
God, All three Persons, dwelling in
your heart.

Meditate, empty your mind, think
only of the presence of God. Make
a spiritual communion, now.

Take time, be alone with Me.

Everyday during Lent, morning and
night, empty your mind, make a
spiritual communion, think of God’s
presence with you, close your eyes,
be alone with Me.

This will help you to grow in God’s
presence all day, the more you do
this, all thru Lent.

I went into the desert to pray for
40 days and be with My Father,
practice this every day during Lent.
Being alone with God. Knowing
My presence!!!!

R. I had a vision of alot of priests in
the China Church moving around on
the altar and they had gold vestments
on.

The light seemed golden, subdued,
then it all turned white and was gone.

When they were moving around and
golden:
their hands were folded, looked very
holy.

Dear Holy Spirit,
increase in us faith, that we will hear
the call God is making to us to help
renew the Church and the world.

Let our hearts and ears be opened to
God's will, God the Father's Plan for
us in salvation history.

I remember being in the car on trips
and children say "Now daddy, we
can't wait."

Our Heavenly Father has a Plan.
How is His Plan?
When is His Plan?
Where is His Plan?

Fr. Carter and I laughed when he said
Jesus told him to look for a center and
we were lost on this journey and
turned around in the China parking lot.

That was about 27 or so years ago.

I had a vision of a red carpet and a
blue ceiling and the Eucharist exposed
the first time I entered the Church.
We had the Eucharist exposed 24/7
for 20 years.

It all began there.
Fr. Carter was given the Church from
the Archdiocese for a small price to do
the work of the Shepherds of Christ

Fr. Carter will be dead 24 years this
year. I still cry and wish I could talk to
him, but I know God had this plan
and He was the one kicking it off and
spreading the Priestly Newsletter
around the world to hierarchy and
priests.

And then we spread Fr. Joe's homily
books for 16 years and I am still
deeply grieving Fr. Joe's death.

I remember 30 years ago Fr. Carter
asked me to go to Falmouth.
Fr. Carter told me that the Blue Books
were as much mine as his and God
wanted servants and handmaids for
this Movement to help renew the
Church and the world.
He asked me to start a prayer chapter
and said we would be reaching the
hierarchy and priests with the Priestly
Newsletter.

One of His plans to help priests to
know Mary's Role in the priest's life
and Church life, and our life -
spiritual birthing, so we are formed
more in the image of Christ, through
the power of the Holy Spirit in Mary's
Immaculate Heart (our spiritual womb).

R. Fr. Carter was called, he began
spreading the Priestly Writing and
spreading the prayers.
He worked hard in 6 and 1/2 years
to set the foundation for Shepherds
of Christ.
How is God calling us in the Plan
of salvation that will go on even
after we die?

God's will is His will for us, He will
do the work if we are open.

Fr. Carter took me to Falmouth.

27 years ago the City of Falmouth
flooded March 3, 1997 less than
3 months after Mary appeared in
Clearwater.

R. Mary is Mother of the Church.
Mary is spiritual Mother of us.

Jesus and Mary are the New Adam
and the New Eve.

At Fatima Mary said:

...Tell everybody that God gives graces through the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Tell them to ask grace from her, and that the Heart of Jesus wishes to be venerated together with the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Ask them to plead for peace from the Immaculate Heart of Mary, for the Lord has confided the peace of the world to her. (19)

19. For background material on Fatima, I am particularly indebted to Our Lady of Fatima’s Peace Plan from Heaven (Rockford: TAN Books and Publishers, Inc., 1983). p.9.

From Tell My People by Fr. Edward J. Carter, S.J.

The Holy Spirit

Jesus: "My beloved friend, tell My people to pray daily to the Holy Spirit. They are to pray for an increase in His gifts. My people must realize that the Holy Spirit comes to transform them. The Spirit desires to transform you more and more according to My image. Those who are docile to His touch become increasingly shaped in My likeness. He performs this marvel within Mary's Immaculate Heart. The more one dwells in My Mother's Heart, the more active are the workings of the Spirit. The Spirit leads Mary to place you within My own Heart. In both Our Hearts, then, your transformation continues. The more you are formed after My own Heart, the more I lead you to the bosom of My Father. Tell My people all this. Tell them to pray daily for a greater appreciation of these wondrous gifts. I am Lord and Master. All who come to My Heart will be on fire to receive the gifts of the Spirit in ever greater measure! I love and bless My people!"

Reflection: The Holy Spirit is given to us to fashion us ever more according to the likeness of Jesus. And the more we are like Jesus, the more Jesus leads us to the Father. Do we, each day, pray to the Holy Spirit to be more open to His transforming influence? Do we strive each day to grow in union with Mary? The greater our union with our Mother, the spouse of the Holy Spirit, the greater is the transforming action of the Holy Spirit within us.

Prayer: Come, Holy Spirit, fill us with your gifts of wisdom, understanding, knowledge, counsel, fortitude, piety, and fear of the Lord. As we dwell in the Heart of Mary, Your spouse, fashion us more and more according to the Heart of Jesus.

R. Mary is our spiritual Mother.

Mary wants us to go to her
Immaculate Heart, her spiritual womb,
the Holy Spirit works molding us
more in the image of Jesus.

Spiritual Birthing.

Mary is Mother of the Church.

The Holy Spirit works with Mary in
helping the Church to be more and
more in Christ’s image.

Pope John Paul II had many words
telling us of the importance of Mary’s
role as Mother of the Church, as our
Mother.

Fr. Carter said, the Church and the
world and the individual Christian
are in the state of becoming - more
Christic (that is in the image of Jesus.)

Ephesians 1:17-23

May the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, give you a spirit of wisdom and perception of what is revealed, to bring you to full knowledge of him. May he enlighten the eyes of your mind so that you can see what hope his call holds for you, how rich is the glory of the heritage he offers among his holy people, and how extraordinarily great is the power that he has exercised for us believers; this accords with the strength of his power at work in Christ, the power which he exercised in raising him from the dead and enthroning him at his right hand, in heaven, far above every principality, ruling force, power or sovereignty, or any other name that can be named, not only in this age but also in the age to come. He has put all things under his feet, and made him, as he is above all things, the head of the Church; which is his Body, the fullness of him who is filled, all in all.

R. Fr. Carter says: Christ reigns over all
creation. Through Jesus’ resurrection
and ascension, the Father has thus
exalted his Son.

From the scripture, we hear Saint Paul
“He has put all things under Christ's
feet, and he has made him, thus exalted,
head of the church, which is his body:
the fullness of him who fills the
universe in all its parts.”

“The world belongs to Christ. It has a
Christic image – despite the fact that
man’s sinfulness has partially marred
the image, and prevented it from
shining forth with its pristine,
brightness.”

“The Spirit is present, he is among us
to lead us more firmly, according to
the way of Jesus, this Jesus, who is
the way, the truth and the life.”

Mary is Mother and Model of the Church.

Excerpt from Mother at Our Side by Fr. Carter, S.J. - Chapter 11

Mary and the Church (excerpt)

"Mary is present in the Church as the Mother of Christ, and at the same time as that Mother whom Christ, in the mystery of the Redemption, gave to humanity in the person of the Apostle John. Thus, in her new motherhood in the Spirit, Mary embraces each and every one in the Church, and embraces each and every one through the Church. In this sense Mary, Mother of the Church, is also the Church's model. Indeed, as Paul VI hopes and asks the Church must draw 'from the Virgin Mother of God the most authentic form of perfect imitation of Christ.' ''(Pope John Paul II).27

In this extremely meaningful passage from his encyclical, Redemptoris Mater (The Mother of the Redeemer), Pope John Paul II tells us that Mary is the Mother of Christ, that she is the Mother of the Church, that she is Mother of each of us in and through the Church, and that she is the Church's model. All of these truths are most intimately connected.

Being Mother of Christ, Mary is also spiritual mother of His members whom Christ has formed into His body, the Church. She is also model of the Church as all good mothers are models for their children. Mary, the best of mothers, is the perfect exemplar, the perfect model, of what it means to be a follower of Christ. She guides the entire Church in greater assimilation to Christ. ...

It is up to each of us to do our share in building up the Church, this Church which is the mystical body of Christ. Through our Eucharistic participation, through our prayer and penance--through all our activity done in union with Christ and Mary--let us all strive to bring the Church closer to its model, Mary. Let us work so that the Church more and more reflects Christ as it comes closer to the one who so eminently reflects Christ, Mary herself. In her Immaculate Conception, her fullness of grace, her sinlessness, her bodily assumption into Heaven, Mary indeed is the perfectly and fully redeemed one. She is the one who has been perfectly assimilated to Christ. She is the model the Church more and more strives to imitate. The rest of the Church will never mirror forth Christ as brilliantly as does Mary. We can, however, approach more closely to this ideal who is Mary. Vatican II states:

"In the most holy Virgin the Church has already reached that perfection whereby she exists without spot or wrinkle. Yet the followers of Christ still strive to increase in holiness by conquering sin. And so they raise their eyes to Mary who shines forth to the whole community of the elect as a model of the virtues. Devotedly meditating on her and contemplating her in the light of the Word made man, the Church with reverence enters more intimately into the supreme mystery of the Incarnation and becomes ever increasingly like her Spouse."28

R. If you do not
love yourself, you cannot love others.
How do you love yourself, the more
you realize God’s love for you the
more you will love yourself.
We were created in love. We were
created in the image and likeness of
Jesus. We are loved by the Divine,
Almighty God.

How can you love, if you do not
have love in your heart to give it away.

I am the happiest when I receive the
Eucharist. When I received the
Eucharist, I feel most full.

Sorrowful Mysteries

The Agony in the Garden

1. Mark 14: 32-44

They came to a plot of land called Gethsemane, and he said to his disciples, ‘Stay here while I pray.’ Then he took Peter and James and John with him. And he began to feel terror and anguish. And he said to them, ‘My soul is sorrowful to the point of death. Wait here, and stay awake.’ And going on a little further he threw himself on the ground and prayed that, if it were possible, this hour might pass him by. ‘Abba,  Father!’ he said, ‘For you everything is possible. Take this cup away from me. But let it be as you, not I, would have it.’ He came back and found them sleeping, and he said to Peter, ‘Simon, are you asleep? Had you not the strength to stay awake one hour? Stay awake and pray not to be put to the test. The spirit is willing enough, but human nature is weak.’ Again he went away and prayed, saying the same words. And once more he came back and found them sleeping, their eyes were so heavy; and they could find no answer for him. He came back a third time and said to them, ‘You can sleep on now and have your rest. It is all over. The hour has come. Now the Son of man is to be betrayed into the hands of sinners. Get up! Let us go! My betrayer is not far away.’

And at once, while he was still speaking, Judas, one of the Twelve, came up and with him a number of men armed with swords and clubs, sent by the chief priests and the scribes and the elders. Now the traitor had arranged a signal with them saying, ‘The one I kiss, he is the man. Arrest him, and see he is well guarded when you lead him away.’

2. Many martyrs have shed their
blood like Christ for the Church.
3. God asks us to unite our suffering
    to His.
4. Suffering properly leads to greater
    life in God.
5. We can see Jesus seeing every sin
in the human race and He sweat
    blood.
6. Jesus showed us how He lived the
Father’s will to His death on the
    cross.
7. God please help us with the grace
we need most to know and love
    You more.
8. Who is on your throne?
Is Jesus first in your life?
9. God calls us to surrender to the
will of God and to lovingly live
    according to His will.
10. The devil wants division,
a house divided against itself will
    not stand.
Jesus: I am the way, the truth and
    the life.

The Scourging at the Pillar

1. Matthew 27: 24-26

Then Pilate saw that he was making no impression, that in fact a riot was imminent. So he took some water, washed his hands in front of the crowd and said, ‘I am innocent of this man’s blood. It is your concern.’ And the people, every one of them, shouted back, ‘Let his blood be on us and on our children!’ Then he released Barabbas for them. After having Jesus scourged he handed him over to be crucified.

2. They tore His flesh, beating
Him and His feet were covered
with His own blood from the
    scourging.
3. Energy, the devil can tempt a
person full of bitterness to do
anything to prove they are right,
but they can’t give an encouraging
word to one who they should
    encourage and be grateful.
4. God is love and kindness and
    giving to others.
5. Those who lie are listening to
    Satan.
6. Dear God give us the grace to be
    kind and loving and supportive
    of others.
7. Satan is real, he tempts men to
do their will opposed to God’s
    will.
8. Satan presses down and he can
    be like a woodpecker pressing
down, when a person gives into
    his temptation.
9. Be there with Jesus. Think of
    many today who have suffered
so many wounds from the abuse
    of others.
10. Children abused by adults may
have life long wounds unless they
turn to God to be healed.
God sends people to help us and
pride and wanting to be right
    stops many from recognizing how
God may be sending someone to
    help the wounded person heal.

The Crowning with Thorns

1. Matthew 27: 27-31

Then the governor’s soldiers took Jesus with them into the Praetorium and collected the whole cohort round him. And they stripped him and put a scarlet cloak round him, and having twisted some thorns into a crown they put this on his head and placed a reed in his right hand. To make fun of him they knelt to him saying, ‘Hail, king of the Jews!’ And they spat on him and took the reed and struck him on the head with it. And when they had finished making fun of him, they took off the cloak and dressed him in his own clothes and led him away to crucifixion.

2. There is much abuse in the world
    of innocent others.
We have been asked in Shepherds
of Christ to pray for the priest,
    the Church and the world.
3. Jesus was spit on and blasphemed.
4. Mary has been blasphemed by
    many today.
5. Mary suffered, too, invisible wounds
    during Jesus’ passion.
6. Jesus had holes in His head from
    the crown of thorns!
They pounded holes in His head.
How awful is that to do what they
    did to Jesus.
7. Jesus asks us to offer our suffering
    united to Jesus’ sufferings.
8. Sing: Crown Him with Many Crowns
9. How is our personal relationship
    with Jesus?

10. July 31,1994

Words of Jesus to Members of Shepherds of Christ Associates:

"My beloved priest-companion, I intend to use the priestly newsletter, Shepherds of Christ, and the movement, Shepherds of Christ Associates, in a powerful way for the renewal of My Church and the world.

"I will use the newsletter and the chapters of Shepherds of Christ Associates as a powerful instrument for spreading devotion to My Heart and My Mother's Heart.

"I am calling many to become members of Shepherds of Christ Associates. To all of them I will give great blessings. I will use them as instruments to help bring about the triumph of the Immaculate Heart and the reign of My Sacred Heart. I will give great graces to the members of Shepherds of Christ Associates. I will call them to be deeply united to My Heart and to Mary's Heart as I lead them ever closer to My Father in the Holy Spirit."

- Message from Jesus to Father Edward J. Carter, S.J., Founder, as given on July 31, 1994,
feast of Saint Ignatius Loyola, Founder of the Society of Jesus (The Jesuits)

The Carrying of the Cross

1. Luke 23:26-31

As they were leading him away they seized on a man, Simon from Cyrene, who was coming in from the country, and made him shoulder the cross and carry it behind Jesus. Large numbers of people followed him, and women too, who mourned and lamented for him. But Jesus turned to them and said, ‘Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for me; weep rather for yourselves and for your children. For look, the days are surely coming when people will say, "Blessed are those who are barren, the wombs that have never borne children, the breasts that have never suckled!" Then they will begin to say to the mountains, "Fall on us!"; to the hills, "Cover us!" For if this is what is done to green wood, what will be done when the wood is dry?'

2. Jesus fell under the cross.
3. He endured this, the whippings,
    persecutions, wounds.
4. Blessed are those who follow the
    Lord.
5. We walk in the footprints of Jesus,
    when we follow Him.
6. Praise and honor to God.
7. Veronica wiped Jesus’ face with
    a cloth.

8. From July 30, 1996

Jesus: I am alive. I am alive. I am
alive, and I live in your heart. My
dear one, how are you carrying
your cross this day? See Me with
My cross on My back, and look
into My eyes for My eyes are filled
with love for you. I allow you to
suffer, for it is in the suffering that
you will unite more and more with
    Me in such love.

9. R. We see Jesus with the cross on
His back. We see Jesus, His head
crowned with thorns and His body
    covered with wounds. Jesus had
lost so much blood that He could
hardly go on, and He fell under
the weight of the cross, and they
    jabbed into His body.

10. R. Jesus gives to us suffering
that we will unite closer to Him.
Look back over your life, and see,
many times, how He allowed us
to carry the cross, how it was so
hard and we wanted to give it up.
Think of Jesus carrying the cross
and how He went on. Even though
He fell to the ground, He went on.
It is in identifying our suffering
with Jesus that we will be able to
stand all that He sends us and that
we will grow more and more in
    His life.

The Crucifixion

1. Excerpt from July 30, 1996

Jesus: Will you walk with Me on the way to Calvary? Will you carry the cross on your back? Will you take the wounds that I send to you? Will you say, “Yes, yes Lord. I love You, Lord. I give myself to You.”?

2. Jesus: It is in giving that you receive. My beloved ones, see Me hanging on the cross, My arms outstretched. I gave My all for love of you. You must give yourselves to Me. We will be one depending on how much you give yourself to Me. Pray for the grace to surrender and to die to yourselves.

3. Song: Unless a Grain of Wheat

4. R. I want to be one with You, my beloved Savior, to unite in such oneness with You. I pray for the grace that I may die more and more to myself and become one in You. I love You. I love You. I love You.

5. R. See Jesus on the cross, both hands are pierced, both feet are pierced. His head is crowned with thorns, and He has all the wounds of His entire passion, and He hangs on the cross with every wound, with every wound in His head, with the piercing in His hands and His feet. Be with Jesus in those last moments before His death. Be with Him and feel the pain. And He calls out to His Father, “My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?”

6. Jesus: My beloved one, I allowed you to experience this suffering, to know what it was to suffer for I truly suffered for love of you. I suffered as I hung on the cross for the words of hatred that you say about your brothers. I am Jesus. I am asking you to give yourselves to Me and to one another, to love Me and to love one another. I suffered. I suffered because of the hatred in your hearts, because of the words in your mouth that were condemning toward one another. I am sending you into the world, My soldiers of love. Pray for the grace that you will be pure in your hearts.

7. Hail Mary

8. Hail Mary

9. R. I knew that Jesus suffered. I saw Jesus all through the passion, and I saw His bloody body. I saw Him as He hung on the cross, but I did not realize. I did not realize until He allowed me to suffer and told me that I was suffering for the words that I say toward my brothers. See Jesus as He hangs on the cross, as His hands are pierced, and His head is crowned with thorns. See every thorn that is piercing His head. See all the wounds on His body. See His withered body as He hangs the seconds before His death, and feel the pain in His body for He suffered. He suffered for my sins, for your sins. He suffered for all of the words of hate that we say about one another. We are the children of light that will carry the messages of His love into the world. If someone looks at us when we are under duress, do they see Christ in us?

10. Jesus: You must come to My Heart, and I will fill you with My love. But love is an act of the will. You must say in your heart, whenever you are taunted by thoughts of division, “I love my brother. I love my sister. I love that person.” and send love to all that you meet. Silently in your heart send them love for you are My Heart this day, beating in this world. Send them My love. I am alive. I am alive. I am alive, and I live in your heart.

R. And they pierced His heart with a lance, and what came forth was blood and water. He truly gave His all for love of us, and He gives His all to us this day. We must go to Him and ask Him to fill us with His love.

See Mary under the cross, and feel the pain in her heart, the pain to know how many of her children would be lost because of their hatred and anger. Mary has called us to be the children of light, to go into the dark world and to spread the love of her Son. It is under duress that we will spread His love, and it will touch many hearts. We must pray to be holy. We must go to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary and dwell in Their Hearts that we will be made holy.

Song: A Song from Jesus

Jesus: You are the hearts of love beating in this world today. I have called you in the Shepherds of Christ Movement to go into the world and to spread My love. Give Me your heart. Do not think thoughts of division toward one another. Think thoughts of love. My Heart is a Heart of love. You must pray for the grace to grow more and more in holiness. You must pray for the grace to love.

Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle B of the Litugical Year (2011/2012)
$ 10.00

Guiding Light homily series — Reflect on the Word — Cycle B     The Word leaves an impression on our souls. In my thoughts and reflections are born a more tangible understanding of these eternal concepts presented in the Gospels and the readings. Anyone can read a sentence, but not anyone can absorb it's true meaning. Truth, in this day and age, is almost a matter of opinion or individual entitlement. We believe that Christ's truth is our Roman Catholic Church. We, as priests, champion it's teachings; we are ambassadors for the Pope and Christ to those faces looking at us. We are the light by which our congregation reads to reflect upon real truth and we do it hand in hand. $10

Guiding Light - Steadfast to the Son
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle A of the Litugical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light homily series — Steadfast to the Son — Cycle A    The sunflower is a great example of how we should be steadfastly guided by light. What a powerful thought that this exceptional plant is not stuck in one pose day in and day out, yet adaptable and magnetized to the sun. We feel the same about our Son. Our heads turns to face Christ as each day presents its challenges to find light. We join together like plants in a field and soak up the Son through the pulpit. We are a warm circle of strength using the wind of our breath to carry our priests' words, Christ's words, to new rich soil. $10

Guiding Light - Focusing on the Word
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle B of the Litugical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light — Focusing on the Word — Cycle B    At times we may feel that our path to Christ is a bit "out of focus". Like the disciples in the Book of Mark, this ordinary life clouds our vision of Christ's Divinity. We may doubt the practicality or possibility of applying His teachings and example to our modern life. Cycle B's homilies are a "guiding light" to help us realize Jesus' Messianic greatness and His promise of better things to come. $10

Guiding Light - Feed My Soul
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle C of the Litugical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light — Feed My Soul — Cycle C    In a world rapidly advancing and encouraging personal gain, we are faced with modern problems. There is a challenge to find time in our busy schedules for Sunday Mass or a family meal. We are able to research, shop, bank and even work without hearing one human voice. It is no wonder that we may often feel disconnected and famished at our week's end. In Fr. Joe's third book of homilies from Cycle C, we are reminded of the charity that Christ intended us to show each other. We have a calling to turn the other cheek and be the Good Samaritan to others. We are rewarded with the Father's kingdom and love when we are not worthy. We are not left alone or hungry. $10
