Consecration Prayer for Peace

I consecrate Russia and the Ukraine to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

I further consecrate the priests, the Church and the world to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary.

I do this in the name of Jesus in as far as I am able, united to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, praying to the Father, in the Holy Spirit, with all the angels and saints and the souls in purgatory through the powerful intercession of Mary, Queen of Peace. Amen.

I further consecrate myself, all members of my family and ask the Holy Spirit to fill us. I spread the Blood of Jesus on all above, I cast the devil into hell away from all of us and consecrate all persons, in as far as I am able,  to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart.

Prayer for Grace for Election and our Country

Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our president and leaders. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.

R. Do you feel the presence of the
Father, Son and Holy Spirit?

The Father, has a plan for us.
God wants this relationship with us.
We are here to grow in our intimacy
with God.
In this Lent we can spend time
alone with God and think of the
presence of the Father, Son and
Holy Spirit in our heart.

Jesus: Be alone with Me, close
your eyes, think of the presence of
God, All three Persons, dwelling in
your heart.

Meditate, empty your mind, think
only of the presence of God. Make
a spiritual communion, now.

Take time, be alone with Me.

Everyday during Lent, morning and
night, empty your mind, make a
spiritual communion, think of God’s
presence with you, close your eyes,
be alone with Me.

This will help you to grow in God’s
presence all day, the more you do
this, all thru Lent.

I went into the desert to pray for
40 days and be with My Father,
practice this every day during Lent.
Being alone with God. Knowing
My presence!!!!

Mary: You have been called by me
for this very special mission.
I am Our Lady of the Rosary.
Satan has blocked this ministry.

R. The Hearts of Jesus and Mary beat
within Mary’s body as she carried
Jesus. Such intimacy, such love the
Father gives us in giving us Jesus,
His Son.
Such love the Father has for His
Son Jesus.

Mary carried Jesus and He was fed
inside of her.

Mary said: “My soul doth magnify
the Lord.”

Mary is the most perfect Mother.
Mary is our spiritual Mother, she
mothers us spiritually. Mary loves
us more than any earthly Mother.
Mary is the perfect Handmaid of
the Lord.
Mary is the Mediatrix of Grace.

Mary fed Jesus when He was born
with her milk.

Mary is Mother of the Church.
Mary suffered too.
A sword, too, will pierce your
heart, O Mary.
Mary pondered all these things
in her heart.
Mary has sweet love for us!!!
Love is deep feelings in our heart.
Let’s give our hearts to Jesus and
Mary, Hearts of greatest love!!

Think of the significance the
Father gives to Mary!!!

Mary is a powerful intercessor.
Mary was conceived sinless.
God the Father called Mary:
“Pure gift.”
The Father has a Plan!!
Seek the vision of the Father.
Mary always obeyed the Father’s
will if carrying a boulder or a
pebble.

We are to work in love with each
other.

Dear God,
My soul delights in You.
Justice and peace will kiss as we
give our hearts to Jesus and Mary’s
Heart of pure and perfect love.
Mary is Mother of the Eucharist.
Mary is Mother of love.

Sing praise to God, love God, give
Him what is His due. Rejoice and
Sing with love and delight.
Let your heart be pure, walking in
unity and love and serving and
honoring God. Let no darkness
lurk in your heart.
Oh God put a new song of praise
and love in my heart for Jesus,
Bridegroom of my soul.

John 15:9-12

Jesus said to his disciples
“As the Father loves me, so I also love you.
Remain in my love.
If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love,
Just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and remain in his love.
I have told you this, so that my joy may be in you and your joy may be complete.
This is my commandment: love, one another as I Love you.”

R. Remember when the Apostles
were waiting the coming of the
Holy Spirit at Pentecost it says:
With one heart, they prayed with
the Mother of Jesus.

If you thought a hurricane was
coming, a tornado, forest fires,
you would pray united in one
heart and one mind, together
for God’s help.

God must be first.

Isaiah 9:1-3,5-6

The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light; on the inhabitants of a country in shadow dark as death light has blazed forth. You have enlarged the nation, you have increased its joy; they rejoice before you as people rejoice at harvest time, as they exult when they are dividing the spoils. For the yoke that weighed on it, the bar across its shoulders, the rod of its oppressor, these you have broken as on the day of Midian.

For a son has been born for us, a son has been given to us, and dominion has been laid on his shoulders; and this is the name he has been given, 'Wonder-Counsellor, Mighty-God, Eternal-Father, Prince-of-Peace' to extend his dominion in boundless peace, over the throne of David and over his kingdom to make it secure and sustain it in fair judgement and integrity. From this time onwards and for ever, the jealous love of Yahweh Sabaoth will do this.

Christmas Meditation

At this Christmas season, these words of Fr. Edward Leen, C.S.Sp., are particularly appropriate:

"The swaddling bands in which Mary wrapped the Infant afforded but an imperfect shelter against the chilliness of the icy draughts. There is no doubt but that the straw was rough and course in spite of all Mary's efforts to make of it a clean and smooth bed for the tender Infant limbs. The manger, to be sure, was a sorry cradle for a King, and that the august King of heaven and earth. Doubtless, it was all very comfortless, but that is only one aspect of the birth of Jesus in the stable. It was not all wretchedness and misery. In this life of the God-Man loveliness and greatness, obscurity and splendor, weakness and power ever go hand in hand, and it is the splendor and power and greatness that dominate. They are but enhanced by the dark shadows of poverty, isolation and suffering. The shadows of the life of Jesus but serve to throw the splendors into stronger relief. The stable was a wretched abode, but in it was a sanctuary as worthy of God as it is possible for a created thing to be worthy of Him. That sanctuary was Mary's soul. In it the Child-God could nestle to His Heart's content and find delight. He is God and for Him, therefore, spiritual realities are more real than material realities. In His eyes the splendors of His Mother's soul transformed the cavern into an abode of palatial splendour and beauty. The mother love of Mary wrapped the soul and heart of Jesus in a mantle of warmth that was grateful in the extreme. God had never before experienced the like from a human person. Mary lavishes tenderness mingled with adoration on the Child. She ministers to Him the warmth, the light, the comfort, denied by the cavern. Joseph's affection and adoration were a pale but still a true reflex of the love and worship of Mary. It is not easy to satisfy God. The saints, even great ones, find Him exacting in His requirements. Yet here God was satisfied. He could ask no more from the two than they had given. For they had given without niggardliness. They had given all that their hearts and souls were capable of. The hostelry in which the new-born God found shelter was not, after all, such a mean one. It was the greatest and the most beautiful that our earth has ever seen or ever will see. It was not all lowliness and sordidness that surrounded the nativity of the Saviour. Man could not take from Him His greatness, nor could the humble circumstances to which their blindness condemned Him obscure it. He was great, in spite of all that man could say or do or judge and His greatness burst in splendour through the lowly conditions of the Nativity. Trumpets proclaim the birth of princes. Never did earth re-echo to strains comparable to those that announced the birth of the Great Prince of Heaven, Mary's Son. Never was such a radiance diffused through the palaces of kings as flooded the wide spaces in the center of which was the manger. Men may not, but God always does recognize true greatness, and He sets His seal upon it."3

The Heart of Mary

Pope John-Paul II gives us these inspiring words: "Be blessed above all things, Handmaid of the Lord, who obeyed the Divine Call in the fullest way! Be greeted, you who united yourself entirely with your Son's redemptive consecration! Mother of the Church! Enlighten the People of God on the way of faith, hope and charity! Help us to live with all the truth of the consecration of Christ for the entire human family in the contemporary world. By entrusting, O Mother, the world, all individuals and all peoples to you, we also entrust to you the very consecration of the world, putting it in your Maternal Heart.

"O, Immaculate Heart! Help us to overcome the threat of evil, which so easily takes root in the hearts of men today and, with the incommensurable effects, already weighs upon our contemporary existence and seems to close the way toward the future.

"Free us from hunger and war! From nuclear war, from incalculable self-destruction, from every kind of war, free us! From the sin against the life of man at its dawning, free us! From the hatred and debasement of the children of God, free us! From every kind of injustice, national and international, free us! From the ease treading down God's commandments, free us! From sins against the Holy Spirit, free us! Free us!

Receive, O Mother of Christ, this cry charged with the sufferings of all mankind! Charged with the suffering of entire societies. Reveal yourself once again, in the story of the world, to be merciful! May this cry halt evil! May it transform consciences!
May the light of hope, reveal itself to all in your Immaculate Heart! Amen".

Mary and Her Heart

R. Mary and her heart, all her gentleness, all her love, all her memories, all her emotions in dealing with the Child Jesus as she carried Him within her womb, as she nursed Him and took care of Him, all the memories in her heart and in her pure and gentle heart, the way that she loved the Father with such immense intensity, the way she loved her spouse the Holy Spirit with such deep, deep love, and the way she loved her Son Jesus, every detail of His life, the way she pondered His ways, the way she kept so many things in her heart. It is in dwelling in the heart of Mary, it is as I operate in this oneness from Mary’s heart, that I will more operate with purity and love. As I interact with others, I will love through the heart of Mary, I will love the Father and I will love the Son and I will love the Holy Spirit through the heart of Mary. I will love God through Mary’s heart, with gentleness, with purity, with deep love. I will love God more like Mary’s heart as I dwell and become one in her heart. I will love others through the heart of Mary. Mary, that loves each and every soul with such tender and beautiful love for her little children. I will love my brothers more as she loves her little children. When I pray to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit I will pray with this intense love through Mary’s heart. As I dwell in the heart of Mary, as I act in oneness with this heart of Mary, I will praise and love the Lord through her heart. How can I give honor and praise to God? Through Mary’s heart that loves God more than any other human person can, I can give great honor to God by loving through Mary’s heart. Immaculate Heart of Mary, may I forever dwell within this Immaculate Heart and in such purity give love to God and all others through the heart of Mary.

When we dwell in her heart we share her knowing of living in Jesus, her dwelling in Jesus, and of being one in Jesus.

The first place that Jesus made His entry as a man into the world was in the womb of Mary. So sacred and so holy the body of Mary to hold the Savior of the world, the Son of God.

It is so clear that it is the Father’s will for us to come through Mary. Let our hearts dwell within the heart that gave life to the beloved Son of God. The heart that beat and gave Him life. Let us dwell in this holy place.

R. Jesus wants us to pray at 6:20.

Galatians 5: 18-25

But when you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the Law. When self-indulgence is at work the results are obvious: sexual vice, impurity, and sensuality, the worship of false gods and sorcery; antagonisms and rivalry, jealousy, bad temper and quarrels, disagreements, factions and malice, drunkenness, orgies and all such things. And about these, I tell you now as I have told you in the past, that people who behave in these ways will not inherit the kingdom of God. On the other hand the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, trustfulness, gentleness and self-control; no law can touch such things as these. All who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified self with all its passions and its desires. Since we are living by the Spirit, let our behaviour be guided by the Spirit

R. What stops a person from finding
God as they should, St. Ignatius says
is some ‘ill-regulated’ attachment.

Like a ball and chain around one’s
ankle.

This attachment holds the soul back
from intimacy with God.

The spiritual exercises of St. Ignatius
is to get rid of this attachment.

Purpose of the Spiritual Exercises.

“Spiritual exercises to conquer oneself
and regulate one’s life, and to avoid
coming to determination through any
inordinate affection.”

This attachment stops a person from
living as God wills.

Love of Christ is the best way to let
go of inordinate attachments.

We live our lives to have a deep
Personal love of Jesus, His Sacred Heart.

In right order, the sincere soul will
do all they can to live the will of God.

Jesus: A rotten tree inside
produces no fruit.

Only in purity and truth, obedience
and love can you produce fruit
for your heavenly reward.
Heaven is a reward promised to
those who obey My commandments
and live in love.

1 John 4: 17-21

Love comes to its perfection in us when we can face the Day of Judgement fearlessly, because even in this world we have become as he is. In love there is no room for fear, but perfect love drives out fear, because fear implies punishment and no one who is afraid has come to perfection in love. Let us love, then, because he first loved us. Anyone who says 'I love God' and hates his brother, is a liar, since whoever does not love the brother whom he can see cannot love God whom he has not seen. Indeed this is the commandment we have received from him, that whoever loves God, must also love his brother.

R. When God gave us His gifts
How did we obey Him?

When God sent His loved ones
He created into our lives -
How did we help them?

We have a free will to love God
and others as ourselves
or not to love them.
We have a knowing and loving
capacity that has been
elevated in Baptism
to share in God’s loving activity.

How have we repented for our
unloving sins against others,
so we could be more loving like
Jesus?

How have we loved like Jesus,
who suffered and died so we could
be forgiven for our sins?

Jesus died a brutal death for our sins,
but some never remove the cinder
in their own eye.

Obedience is a virtue, how will we
stand the test of doing God’s will
like Jesus showed us when He went
through the bitter passion and died
a brutal death on the cross.

Mary is the closest human person
to God -
Honored Mary on the 5ths and 13ths
as she has told us to do.

R. Jesus didn’t come a high and
mighty King adorned in gold and
jewels, Jesus came in the poverty
of the stable, a tiny baby.
Dear God help us to walk in
humility as a little child.

Envision yourself looking at the
littleness of the baby Jesus.
Why are we so prideful to prove
we are right?

Sing: The Rosary Song

Joyful Mysteries

The Annunciation

1. Luke 1: 26-38

In the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a town in Galilee called Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man named Joseph, of the House of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary. He went in and said to her, ‘Rejoice, you who enjoy God’s favour! The Lord is with you.’ She was deeply disturbed by these words and asked herself what this greeting could mean, but the angel said to her, ‘Mary, do not be afraid; you have won God’s favour. Look! You are to conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you must name him Jesus. He will be great and will be called Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his ancestor David; he will rule over the House of Jacob for ever and his reign will have no end.’ Mary said to the angel, ‘But how can this come about, since I have no knowledge of man?’ The angel answered, ‘The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will cover you with its shadow. And so the child will be holy and will be called Son of God. And I tell you this too: your cousin Elizabeth also, in her old age, has conceived a son, and she whom people called barren is now in her sixth month, for nothing is impossible to God.’ Mary said, ‘You see before you the Lord’s servant, let it happen to me as you have said.’ And the angel left her.

2. Dear God:
Please open our hearts to the mysteries here.
3. Prepare for Jesus' coming. Jesus came to earth,
    our Savior.
    Jesus, thank You!
4. Focus on Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer.
5. We reflect on the importance of this Event:
Jesus, second Person of the Blessed Trinity,
    came to be our Savior.
6. Sing refrain: “Little Baby Hands and Feet”

7. Sing: See the Eyes That Look at Mary

8. Meditate on the Mysteries of the Rosary.
It will help us stay more peaceful,
reduce stress, lower our blood pressure
and help us stay focused on what is
important in life and what is not important.
9. Father Joe says: “After all, the birth of
our king and savior is worthy of a grand
celebration. But his birth is just the first
step in the process of his coming. He
comes with light and grace in love and
peace to show us now, when we come
to him, in faith and prayer. And he will
come again to take us to himself. 'so
that where I am, you also may be'.
Since we don’t know when he’s going
to come for us, we must be always
ready for him to come knocking on
our door to tell us he is ready for us.
    That’s important.”

10. We cannot forget that the child, whose
birth we celebrate, was born in poverty,
lived in poverty, died in poverty, and
taught us not to make "things" too
    important in our lives.
We prepare to celebrate Christ's coming
in the past, in the present, and in the
future, we hear him tell us once again
    “be watchful, be alert.”

The Visitation

1. Luke 1: 39-45

Mary set out at that time and went as quickly as she could into the hill country to a town in Judah. She went into Zechariah’s house and greeted Elizabeth. Now it happened that as soon as Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the child leapt in her womb and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. She gave a loud cry and said, ‘Of all women you are the most blessed, and blessed is the fruit of your womb. Why should I be honoured with a visit from the mother of my Lord? Look, the moment your greeting reached my ears, the child in my womb leapt for joy. Yes, blessed is she who believed that the promise made her by the Lord would be fulfilled.’

2. Mary went to visit her cousin Elizabeth,
Mary was with child. Elizabeth was
thought barren. Elizabeth was in her
    sixth month.
3. Elizabeth carried John the Baptist.
4. When Mary arrived the babe in
    Elizabeth’s womb leapt for joy.
5. Mary cried out the Magnificat.
“My soul, doth magnify the Lord.
My spirit rejoices in God my savior.”
6. “The mighty one has done great things
    for me.”
7. Sing: Holy is His Name
8. Sing: Oh Come, Oh Come Emmanuel
9. Mary stayed with Elizabeth about
    three months.
10. Jesus is not only Messiah and Savior,
but He is the Son of God and everything
    about Him is Good News.

The Birth of Jesus

1. Luke 2:1-7

Now it happened that at this time Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be made of the whole inhabited world. This census—the first—took place while Quirinius was governor of Syria, and everyone went to be registered, each to his own town. So Joseph set out from the town of Nazareth in Galilee for Judaea, to David’s town called Bethlehem, since he was of David’s House and line, in order to be registered together with Mary, his betrothed, who was with child. Now it happened that, while they were there, the time came for her to have her child, and she gave birth to a son, her first–born. She wrapped him in swaddling clothes and laid him in a manger because there was no room for them in the living–space.

2. Jesus comes to help us to prepare
    our hearts. God is love.

3. Matthew 22: 36-40

'Master, which is the greatest commandment of the Law?' Jesus said to him, 'You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and the first commandment. The second resembles it: You must love your neighbour as yourself. On these two commandments hang the whole Law, and the Prophets too.'

4. Sing: Away in a Manger
5. We should make our hearts a heart
of love, like a little manger for Jesus,
    a manger of love.
6. The Incarnation goes on in us.
7. Mary is our spiritual Mother.
8. Sing: Angels we have Heard on High
9. After Jesus taught us about God‘s love
and showed it to us in everything, He
did, Jesus returned to His Father in
heaven, to prepare a place for us
where we would be with Him forever.
But just so we would know He hasn’t
left us alone, He gave us communion
to help us stay united with Him, and
He sent His Holy Spirit to dwell in
    our hearts.
10. Isn’t it great that Jesus was born and
aren’t you glad to know that we are
connected with Him and He with us.

The Presentation in the Temple

1. Luke 2: 25-35

Now in Jerusalem there was a man named Simeon. He was an upright and devout man; he looked forward to the restoration of Israel and the Holy Spirit rested on him. It had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not see death until he had set eyes on the Christ of the Lord. Prompted by the Spirit he came to the Temple; and when the parents brought in the child Jesus to do for him what the Law required, he took him into his arms and blessed God; and he said:

    Now, Master, you are letting
        your servant go in peace
    as you promised;
for my eyes have seen the salvation
    which you have made ready
        in the sight of the nations;
a light of revelation for the gentiles
and glory for your people Israel.

As the child’s father and mother were wondering at the things that were being said about him, Simeon blessed them and said to Mary his mother, ‘Look, he is destined for the fall and for the rise of many in Israel, destined to be a sign that is opposed—and a sword will pierce your soul too — so that the secret thoughts of many may be laid bare.'

2. Sing: Little Baby Hands and Feet

3. The Holy Family is our model. We
may not be the perfect holy family,
but we are a holy family if we stay
    rooted in God.
4. It’s God‘s grace that makes us holy,
and if the members of our family
stay in God‘s grace, we are a holy
    family.
5. We do not enter into God‘s Kingdom
by accident, or by default. It’s like
anything else in life, if we want some-
    thing worthwhile or to accomplish
    anything worth accomplishing, we
    need to prepare.
6. Prepare a way of the Lord.
7. Mary and Jesus was told by Simeon
    of the suffering to come.
8. Mary tucked all these things in her heart.
9. We pray people love the Church more
and more and thank God for this
precious gift of the Church, and the
    priest and the World.
We pray people live, as strong members
of the mystical body of Christ.
10. May the light of Christ shine on the
Earth, as we live more holy lives in
    Him, and in His Word.
    We should respond enthusiastically to
Christ's call to help build up the kingdom
of truth and, justice, and that the peace
of Christ is spread on this earth.

The Finding of Jesus in the Temple

1. Luke 2: 46-52

It happened that, three days later, they found him in the Temple, sitting among the teachers, listening to them, and asking them questions; and all those who heard him were astounded at his intelligence and his replies. They were overcome when they saw him, and his mother said to him, ‘My child, why have you done this to us? See how worried your father and I have been, looking for you.’ He replied, ‘Why were you looking for me? Did you not know that I must be in my Father’s house?’ But they did not understand what he meant. He went down with them then and came to Nazareth and lived under their authority. His mother stored up all these things in her heart. And Jesus increased in wisdom, in stature, and in favour with God and with people.

2. R. When Jesus was twelve years old, Mary and Joseph took Him to the Temple for the feast of the Passover. Joseph and Mary did not know where the Child Jesus was.

3. R. They realized that the Child Jesus was not with them, and they returned to Jerusalem with their hearts sorrowing in search for Child Jesus.

4. Mary: How many of my little children are lost in this world today. You are my youth that I have called here in the Junior Shepherds of Christ to go out into this world and to spread the love of my Son. He is calling each one of you, His special, chosen children to draw ever closer to His Heart. You are the youth of America. This movement will spread throughout the world, and you will be a vital force of spreading His love. Pray every day your consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Ask Jesus to help you to grow more and more in His life and be joined ever closer to His Heart.

5. Mary: Many of my little children throughout this world are in the state of sin. It is through your prayers that you will help many youth.

6. Mary: I am Mary your Mother. I appear here, my dear ones, for this request is an urgent request for you to pray every day. Your prayers are so pure and the Father loves the youth to pray to Him. I am Mary your Mother. I am guarding you. I am watching you. I am caring for you. Come to my heart my dear, sweet children and let me protect you and fill you with the love of my Son.

7. Mary: Many of those things that you see in this world today are not of God. You must pray every day with all your heart to know the will of the Father. The Father has a plan for you. You were called here by my Son, Jesus. You must pray as you have never prayed before.

8. Mary: My heart is in so much sorrow for my little lost children of this world. Will you pray for all of the children of the world?

9. Mary: I call all souls on this earth, my children, old and young alike are my children, for I am your heavenly Mother. All souls on this earth are my beloved, little children. I love each soul with my maternal love, more than any earthly mother. I love all my little children of this world. You have been called, a special calling to come to this Center and to pray for all the children of the world.

10. Mary: The Father will listen to your prayers. My sweet little children, pray for the priests, pray for the little children of the world and for the priests. You are my special apostles that I am sending into the world to teach the youth of the love of God.

R. Mary is extremely illuminated and she has been like that since the beginning of the rosary. She still remains like this appearing to me.

Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle B of the Litugical Year (2011/2012)
$ 10.00

Guiding Light homily series — Reflect on the Word — Cycle B     The Word leaves an impression on our souls. In my thoughts and reflections are born a more tangible understanding of these eternal concepts presented in the Gospels and the readings. Anyone can read a sentence, but not anyone can absorb it's true meaning. Truth, in this day and age, is almost a matter of opinion or individual entitlement. We believe that Christ's truth is our Roman Catholic Church. We, as priests, champion it's teachings; we are ambassadors for the Pope and Christ to those faces looking at us. We are the light by which our congregation reads to reflect upon real truth and we do it hand in hand. $10

Guiding Light - Steadfast to the Son
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle A of the Litugical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light homily series — Steadfast to the Son — Cycle A    The sunflower is a great example of how we should be steadfastly guided by light. What a powerful thought that this exceptional plant is not stuck in one pose day in and day out, yet adaptable and magnetized to the sun. We feel the same about our Son. Our heads turns to face Christ as each day presents its challenges to find light. We join together like plants in a field and soak up the Son through the pulpit. We are a warm circle of strength using the wind of our breath to carry our priests' words, Christ's words, to new rich soil. $10

Guiding Light - Focusing on the Word
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle B of the Litugical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light — Focusing on the Word — Cycle B    At times we may feel that our path to Christ is a bit "out of focus". Like the disciples in the Book of Mark, this ordinary life clouds our vision of Christ's Divinity. We may doubt the practicality or possibility of applying His teachings and example to our modern life. Cycle B's homilies are a "guiding light" to help us realize Jesus' Messianic greatness and His promise of better things to come. $10

Guiding Light - Feed My Soul
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle C of the Litugical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light — Feed My Soul — Cycle C    In a world rapidly advancing and encouraging personal gain, we are faced with modern problems. There is a challenge to find time in our busy schedules for Sunday Mass or a family meal. We are able to research, shop, bank and even work without hearing one human voice. It is no wonder that we may often feel disconnected and famished at our week's end. In Fr. Joe's third book of homilies from Cycle C, we are reminded of the charity that Christ intended us to show each other. We have a calling to turn the other cheek and be the Good Samaritan to others. We are rewarded with the Father's kingdom and love when we are not worthy. We are not left alone or hungry. $10
