                Today's Scripture

1 Kings 18: 20-39

Ahab called all Israel together and assembled the prophets on Mount Carmel.  Elijah stepped out in front of all the people. 'How long', he said, 'do you mean to hobble first on one leg then on the other? If Yahweh is God, follow him; if Baal, follow him.' But the people had nothing to say. Elijah then said to them, 'I, I alone, am left as a prophet of Yahweh, while the prophets of Baal are four hundred and fifty. Let two bulls be given us; let them choose one for themselves, dismember it but not set fire to it. I in my turn shall prepare the other bull, but not set fire to it. You must call on the name of your god, and I shall call on the name of Yahweh; the god who answers with fire, is God indeed.' The people all answered, 'Agreed!' Elijah then said to the prophets of Baal, 'Choose one bull and begin, for there are more of you. Call on the name of your god but light no fire.' They took the bull and prepared it, and from morning to midday they called on the name of Baal. 'O Baal, answer us!' they cried, but there was no voice, no answer, as they performed their hobbling dance round the altar which they had made. Midday came, and Elijah mocked them. 'Call louder,' he said, 'for he is a god: he is preoccupied or he is busy, or he has gone on a journey; perhaps he is asleep and needs to be woken up!' So they shouted louder and gashed themselves, as their custom was, with swords and spears until the blood flowed down them. Midday passed, and they ranted on until the time when the offering is presented; but there was no voice, no answer, no sign of attention.

Then Elijah said to all the people, 'Come over to me,' and all the people came over to him. He repaired Yahweh's altar which had been torn down. Elijah took twelve stones, corresponding to the number of tribes of the sons of Jacob, to whom the word of Yahweh had come, 'Israel is to be your name,' and built an altar in the name of Yahweh. Round the altar he dug a trench of a size to hold two measures of seed. He then arranged the wood, dismembered the bull, and laid it on the wood. Then he said, 'Fill four jars with water and pour it on the burnt offering and on the wood.' They did this. He said, 'Do it a second time;' they did it a second time. He said, 'Do it a third time;' they did it a third time. The water flowed round the altar until even the trench itself was full of water. At the time when the offering is presented, Elijah the prophet stepped forward. 'Yahweh, God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel,' he said, 'let them know today that you are God in Israel, and that I am your servant, that I have done all these things at your command. Answer me, Yahweh, answer me, so that this people may know that you, Yahweh, are God and are winning back their hearts.'

Then Yahweh's fire fell and consumed the burnt offering and the wood and licked up the water in the trench. When all the people saw this they fell on their faces. 'Yahweh is God,' they cried, 'Yahweh is God!'

Matthew 5: 17-19

‘Do not imagine that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets. I have come not to abolish but to complete them. In truth I tell you, till heaven and earth disappear, not one dot, not one little stroke, is to disappear from the Law until all its purpose is achieved. Therefore, anyone who infringes even one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be considered the least in the kingdom of Heaven; but the person who keeps them and teaches them will be considered great in the kingdom of Heaven.

                Drought has continued

What God — gods will alleviate the drought —
Elijah called the prophets of Baal to pray to their gods —
Elijah had confidence the God of Israel would
                    alleviate the drought —
When 450 prophets and priests prayed to their
                    gods — nothing happened —
Elijah - had faith and trust —
God would help him and hear his prayer —
                God helped Elijah —
We pray that God's will be done
We don't tell God what to do —
We have faith in God —
When things are not like we want we
don't believe God will abandoned us —

Jesus says He came not to destroy Torah
                    but to perfect it —

Matthew 5: 17-19

‘Do not imagine that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets. I have come not to abolish but to complete them. In truth I tell you, till heaven and earth disappear, not one dot, not one little stroke, is to disappear from the Law until all its purpose is achieved. Therefore, anyone who infringes even one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be considered the least in the kingdom of Heaven; but the person who keeps them and teaches them will be considered great in the kingdom of Heaven.

We must do more than just keep the law —
our heart is to be in it —
we are to praise the Lord —

The laws we keep should come from our
                    hearts —
We as the children of God are to obey God's
                    will —
We are to do what God asks us to do —
We are to love God with our whole heart,
our whole mind and our whole soul —
God is to be obeyed and loved and served and
                    adored —
We pray that the faithful will do this and live
                    by the Gospel

                Blessed be God forever —
Oh God help us to be holy —

Deuteronomy 30: 15-20

‘Look, today I am offering you life and prosperity, death and disaster. If you obey the commandments of Yahweh your God, which I am laying down for you today, if you love Yahweh your God and follow his ways, if you keep his commandments, his laws and his customs, you will live and grow numerous, and Yahweh your God will bless you in the country which you are about to enter and make your own. But if your heart turns away, if you refuse to listen, if you let yourself be drawn into worshipping other gods and serving them, I tell you today, you will most certainly perish; you will not live for long in the country which you are crossing the Jordan to enter and possess. Today, I call heaven and earth to witness against you: I am offering you life or death, blessing or curse. Choose life, then, so that you and your descendants may live, in the love of Yahweh your God, obeying his voice, holding fast to him; for in this your life consists, and on this depends the length of time that you stay in the country which Yahweh swore to your ancestors Abraham, Isaac and Jacob that he would give them.’

Oh Holy Heart of Jesus we love You — Give us Your
blessings — Bless the children —
Pray for two urgent intentions —
Oh God, my God — I want You to live in Me —
You are the Lord of life —
God help us to trust, to have faith, to preserve —
Bless all of us in Shepherds of Christ, our families,
                        our relatives, our friends —

Oh Most Sacred Heart — You are the fountain of life —
Oh God we adore and love You
Oh God we are sorry for our sins —
Help us to be humble and pure and obedient and patient —
Oh God we love You — protect us —

Cling to Me

May 13, 1993

Jesus: My dear child, if you stay close to Me, then I live in you and you live in Me. I am He Who created you and I love you with such an intensity that you will never know. My words are your truth. You must abide in My heart in all things. There is no room for doubt. My ways are steadfast, direct, and without error.

You must stay rooted in Me to ward off the power of the evil one. His grip is paralyzing and crippling. His power is stronger every day.

When you live in Me, I am in your heart and he has no power over Me. I am your God. I am your true lover. I want to protect you. I want to guard you from this force. Stay rooted firmly in Me and he will have no power.

I am He Who comforts you. My hand is upon you. Hold tight to Me, My child. My eyes are fixed right on you. You are My most precious child. I love you as no other can. My arms are about you. My tenderness surrounds you. My love is in your heart. You go not alone. I walk with you.

I share every aspect of your life with you. Cling to Me, feel My presence. It is warm and secure within your chest. There is no room for fear, for I cast out fear and bring you comfort and joy.

Psalm 77

I cry to God in distress,
I cry to God and he hears me.

In the day of my distress I sought the Lord;
all night I tirelessly stretched out my hands,
my heart refused to be consoled.
I sigh as I think of God,
my spirit faints away as I ponder on him.
Pause

You kept me from closing my eyes,
I was too distraught to speak;
I thought of former times,
years long past I recalled;
through the night I ponder in my heart,
as I reflect, my spirit asks this question:

Is the Lord's rejection final?
Will he never show favour again?
Is his faithful love gone for ever?
Has his Word come to an end for all time?
Does God forget to show mercy?
In anger does he shut off his tenderness?
Pause

And I said, 'This is what wounds me,
the right hand of the Most High has lost its strength.'
Remembering Yahweh's great deeds,
remembering your wonders in the past,
I reflect on all that you did,
I ponder all your great deeds.

God, your ways are holy!
What god is as great as our God?
You are the God who does marvellous deeds,
brought nations to acknowledge your power,
with your own arm redeeming your people,
the children of Jacob and Joseph.
Pause

When the waters saw you, God,
when the waters saw you they writhed in anguish,
the very depths shook with fear.
The clouds pelted down water,
the sky thundered,
your arrows shot back and forth.

The rolling of your thunder was heard,
your lightning-flashes lit up the world,
the earth shuddered and shook.
Your way led over the sea,
your path over the countless waters,
and none could trace your footsteps.

You guided your people like a flock
by the hand of Moses and Aaron.

John 10: 11-15

I am the good shepherd:
the good shepherd lays down his life
   for his sheep.
The hired man,
since he is not the shepherd
and the sheep do not belong to him,
abandons the sheep
as soon as he sees a wolf coming,
   and runs away,
and then the wolf attacks
   and scatters the sheep;
he runs away
because he is only a hired man
and has no concern for the sheep.
I am the good shepherd;
I know my own
and my own know me,
just as the Father knows me
and I know the Father;
and I lay down my life for my sheep.

Luke 1: 67-79

The Benedictus

His father Zechariah was filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke this prophecy:

Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel
for he has visited his people,
    he has set them free
and he has established for us
    a saving power
in the House of his servant David,
just as he proclaimed,
by the mouth of his holy prophets
    from ancient times,
that he would save us from our enemies
and from the hands of all those
    who hate us

and show faithful love to our ancestors
and so keep in mind his holy covenant
This was the oath he swore
to our father Abraham,
that he would grant us, free from fear,
to be delivered
from the hands of our enemies,
to serve him in holiness and uprightness
in his presence, all our days.
And you, little child,
you shall be called
    Prophet of the Most High,
for you will go before the Lord
to prepare a way for him

to give his people knowledge of salvation
through the forgiveness of their sins,
because of the faithful love of our God
in which the rising Sun
has come from on high to visit us,
to give light to those who live
in darkness and the shadow dark as death

and to guide our feet
into the way of peace.

This is Reality: Jesus Died and He Has Risen (excerpt) ...

R.   I constantly want a deeper union with Him. It is not ever enough. I want to know Him more and know all about Him and His life. I thirst after this knowledge of Him and I want to be joined closer and closer to Him. I crave this union and I thirst after the knowledge of God and Mary and the Saints.

The gospel is so important! We must stand during the gospel. How do we treat the Word of God?

Jesus:  I give you My word. It is most precious, My beloved one.

You do not write this. I will take care of you. I love you so much. Jesus.

Prayer for Priests

Lord Jesus, Chief Shepherd of the Flock, we pray that in the great love and mercy of Your Sacred Heart You attend to all the needs of Your priest-shepherds throughout the world. We ask that You draw back to Your Heart all those priests who have seriously strayed from Your path, that You rekindle the desire for holiness in the hearts of those priests who have become lukewarm, and that You continue to give Your fervent priests the desire for the highest holiness. United with Your Heart and Mary's Heart, we ask that You take this petition to Your heavenly Father in the unity of the Holy Spirit. Amen

John 17: 1-3

After saying this, Jesus raised his eyes to heaven and said:

Father, the hour has come:
glorify your Son
so that your Son may glorify you;
so that, just as you have given him
   power over all humanity,
he may give eternal life
to all those you have entrusted to him.
And eternal life is this:
to know you,
the only true God,
and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.

                (6) Psalm 98: 2-4

Yahweh has made known his saving power,
revealed his saving justice for the nations to see,
mindful of his faithful love and his constancy
to the House of Israel.

The whole wide world has seen
the saving power of our God.
Acclaim Yahweh, all the earth,
burst into shouts of joy!

                (7) Sing refrain only - A Voice Cries out in the Wilderness

                (8) Luke 3: 21-22

Now it happened that when all the people had been baptised and while Jesus after his own baptism was at prayer, heaven opened and the Holy Spirit descended on him in a physical form, like a dove. And a voice came from heaven, ‘You are my Son; today have I fathered you.’

                (9) John 1: 29-30

The next day, he saw Jesus coming towards him and said, ‘Look, there is the lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world. It was of him that I said, "Behind me comes one who has passed ahead of me because he existed before me."

                (10) Sing refrain — We are the Light of the World

                Marriage at Cana

                (1) John 2: 1-10

On the third day there was a wedding at Cana in Galilee. The mother of Jesus was there, and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited. And they ran out of wine, since the wine provided for the feast had all been used, and the mother of Jesus said to him, ‘They have no wine.’ Jesus said, ‘Woman, what do you want from me? My hour has not come yet.’ His mother said to the servants, ‘Do whatever he tells you.’ There were six stone water jars standing there, meant for the ablutions that are customary among the Jews: each could hold twenty or thirty gallons. Jesus said to the servants, ‘Fill the jars with water,’ and they filled them to the brim. Then he said to them, ‘Draw some out now and take it to the president of the feast.’ They did this; the president tasted the water, and it had turned into wine. Having no idea where it came from—though the servants who had drawn the water knew—the president of the feast called the bridegroom and said, ‘Everyone serves good wine first and the worse wine when the guests are well wined; but you have kept the best wine till now.’

                (2) Jesus turned water into wine.

                (3) Mary has powerful intercession.

                (4) Mary is the Lady of Light.

                (5) Jesus performed miracles while on earth —

                (6) God is so good to us.

                (7) God chose a miracle for His first miracle —
Look at the mystery of a child born to a man and woman
                    in marriage —

                (8) We are the Spouse of Jesus

                (9) Jesus wants intimacy with us — Jesus gives us Himself
                        in the Eucharist.

                Kingdom of God

                (1) Genesis 14: 18-20

Melchizedek king of Salem brought bread and wine; he was a priest of God Most High. He pronounced this blessing:

Blessed be Abram by God Most High,
        Creator of heaven and earth.
And blessed be God Most High
        for putting your enemies
            into your clutches.

And Abram gave him a tenth of everything.

                (2) 1 Corinthians 11: 23-26

For the tradition I received from the Lord and also handed on to you is that on the night he was betrayed, the Lord Jesus took some bread, and after he had given thanks, he broke it, and he said, This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me. And in the same way, with the cup after supper, saying, ‘This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Whenever you drink it, do this as a memorial of me. Whenever you eat this bread, then, and drink this cup, you are proclaiming the Lord’s death until he comes.

                (3) Luke 9: 11-17

But the crowds got to know and they went after him. He made them welcome and talked to them about the kingdom of God; and he cured those who were in need of healing.

It was late afternoon when the Twelve came up to him and said, 'Send the people away, and they can go to the villages and farms round about to find lodging and food; for we are in a lonely place here.' He replied, 'Give them something to eat yourselves.' But they said, 'We have no more than five loaves and two fish, unless we are to go ourselves and buy food for all these people.' For there were about five thousand men. But he said to his disciples, 'Get them to sit down in parties of about fifty.' They did so and made them all sit down. Then he took the five loaves and two fish, raised his eyes to heaven, and said the blessing over them; then he broke them and handed them to his disciples to distribute among the crowd. They all ate as much as they wanted, and when the scraps left over were collected they filled twelve baskets.

                (4) Ezekiel 14: 11-12, 15-17

so that the House of Israel will never stray from me again or defile themselves again with these crimes, but be my people and I their God — declares the Lord Yahweh." '

The word of Yahweh was addressed to me:

Were I to unleash wild beasts on that country to rob it of its children and reduce it to a desert which no one would dare to cross because of the animals, even if these three men were living there, as I live — declares the Lord Yahweh — they would not be able to save either son or daughter; they alone would be saved, and the country would become a desert. even if these three men were living there, as I live — declares the Lord Yahweh — they would not be able to save either son or daughter; they alone would be saved, and the country would become a desert.

                (5) Sing: Valleys of Green

                (6) 1 Corinthians 15: 20-26

In fact, however, Christ has been raised from the dead, as the first-fruits of all who have fallen asleep. As it was by one man that death came, so through one man has come the resurrection of the dead. Just as all die in Adam, so in Christ all will be brought to life; but all of them in their proper order: Christ the first-fruits, and next, at his coming, those who belong to him. After that will come the end, when he will hand over the kingdom to God the Father, having abolished every principality, every ruling force and power. For he is to be king until he has made his enemies his footstool, and the last of the enemies to be done away with is death, for he has put all things under his feet.

                (7) Matthew 25: 31-46

‘When the Son of man comes in his glory, escorted by all the angels, then he will take his seat on his throne of glory. All nations will be assembled before him and he will separate people one from another as the shepherd separates sheep from goats. He will place the sheep on his right hand and the goats on his left. Then the King will say to those on his right hand, "Come, you whom my Father has blessed, take as your heritage the kingdom prepared for you since the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you made me welcome, lacking clothes and you clothed me, sick and you visited me, in prison and you came to see me." Then the upright will say to him in reply, "Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? When did we see you a stranger and make you welcome, lacking clothes and clothe you? When did we find you sick or in prison and go to see you?" And the King will answer, "In truth I tell you, in so far as you did this to one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did it to me." Then he will say to those on his left hand, "Go away from me, with your curse upon you, to the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you never gave me food, I was thirsty and you never gave me anything to drink, I was a stranger and you never made me welcome, lacking clothes and you never clothed me, sick and in prison and you never visited me." Then it will be their turn to ask, "Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty, a stranger or lacking clothes, sick or in prison, and did not come to your help?" Then he will answer, "In truth I tell you, in so far as you neglected to do this to one of the least of these, you neglected to do it to me." And they will go away to eternal punishment, and the upright to eternal life.’

                (8) John 18: 33-37

So Pilate went back into the Praetorium and called Jesus to him and asked him, ‘Are you the king of the Jews?’ Jesus replied, ‘Do you ask this of your own accord, or have others said it to you about me?’ Pilate answered, ‘Am I a Jew? It is your own people and the chief priests who have handed you over to me: what have you done?’ Jesus replied, ‘Mine is not a kingdom of this world; if my kingdom were of this world, my men would have fought to prevent my being surrendered to the Jews. As it is, my kingdom does not belong here.’ Pilate said, ‘So, then you are a king?’ Jesus answered, ‘It is you who say that I am a king. I was born for this, I came into the world for this, to bear witness to the truth; and all who are on the side of truth listen to my voice.’

                (9) Luke 23: 35-43

The people stayed there watching. As for the leaders, they jeered at him with the words, ‘He saved others, let him save himself if he is the Christ of God, the Chosen One.’ The soldiers mocked him too, coming up to him, offering him vinegar, and saying, ‘If you are the king of the Jews, save yourself.’ Above him there was an inscription: ‘This is the King of the Jews’.

One of the criminals hanging there abused him: ‘Are you not the Christ? Save yourself and us as well.’ But the other spoke up and rebuked him. ‘Have you no fear of God at all?’ he said. ‘You got the same sentence as he did, but in our case we deserved it: we are paying for what we did. But this man has done nothing wrong.’ Then he said, ‘Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.’ He answered him, ‘In truth I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.’

                Transfiguration

                (1) Matthew 17: 1-8

Six days later, Jesus took with him Peter and James and his brother John and led them up a high mountain by themselves. There in their presence he was transfigured: his face shone like the sun and his clothes became as dazzling as light. And suddenly Moses and Elijah appeared to them; they were talking with him. Then Peter spoke to Jesus. ‘Lord,’ he said, ‘it is wonderful for us to be here; if you want me to, I will make three shelters here, one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah.’ He was still speaking when suddenly a bright cloud covered them with shadow, and suddenly from the cloud there came a voice which said, ‘This is my Son, the Beloved; he enjoys my favour. Listen to him.’ When they heard this, the disciples fell on their faces, overcome with fear. But Jesus came up and touched them, saying, ‘Stand up, do not be afraid.’ And when they raised their eyes they saw no one but Jesus.

                (2) Jesus showed them Himself — all in light —

                (3) A voice from heaven was heard

...‘This is my Son, the Beloved; he enjoys my favour. Listen to him.’  Matthew 17: 5

                (4) Elijah and Moses appeared with Him —
                (5) Jesus is the prophet of all prophets —
Moses gave us the commandments —
Jesus gives us a new covenant —

Matthew 5: 17-19

‘Do not imagine that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets. I have come not to abolish but to complete them. In truth I tell you, till heaven and earth disappear, not one dot, not one little stroke, is to disappear from the Law until all its purpose is achieved. Therefore, anyone who infringes even one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be considered the least in the kingdom of Heaven; but the person who keeps them and teaches them will be considered great in the kingdom of Heaven.

                (6) Jesus wants us to obey the commandments.

                (7) The Ten Commandments

  1. I, the Lord, am your God. You shall not have other gods besides me.
  2. You shall not take the name of the Lord, your God, in vain.
  3. Remember to keep holy the Sabbath day.
  4. Honor your father and your mother.
  5. You shall not kill.
  6. You shall not commit adultery.
  7. You shall not steal.
  8. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
  9. You shall not covet your neighbor's wife.
  10. You shall not covet anything that belongs to your neighbor.

                (8) Matthew 22: 36-40

'Master, which is the greatest commandment of the Law?' Jesus said to him, 'You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and the first commandment. The second resembles it: You must love your neighbour as yourself. On these two commandments hang the whole Law, and the Prophets too.'

                (9) Jeremiah 1: 4-8

The word of Yahweh came to me, saying:

‘Before I formed you in the womb
     I knew you;
  before you came to birth
     I consecrated you;
I appointed you as prophet to the nations.’

  I then said, ‘Ah, ah, ah, Lord Yahweh;
you see, I do not know how to speak: I am only a child!’

  But Yahweh replied,
‘Do not say, "I am only a child,"
for you must go to all to whom I send you
and say whatever I command you.
Do not be afraid of confronting them,
for I am with you to rescue you,
 Yahweh declares.’

                The Institution of the Eucharist

                (1) Mark 14: 22, 24

...‘Take it,’ he said, ‘this is my body.’

...‘This is my blood, the blood of the covenant, poured out for many.

                (2) Matthew 26: 26-29

Now as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had said the blessing he broke it and gave it to the disciples. ‘Take it and eat,’ he said, ‘this is my body.’ Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks he handed it to them saying, ‘Drink from this, all of you, for this is my blood, the blood of the covenant, poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. From now on, I tell you, I shall never again drink wine until the day I drink the new wine with you in the kingdom of my Father.’

Picture of the Sacred Heart of Jesus      I Love You

April 13, 1994

Jesus: How, child, do I, Jesus, tell you I love you? You hold on to silly things, when God is in your midst and is ardently loving you. I am Jesus Christ, the Son of God. I am writing to each precious child this day. I am on fire for love of you. I remain in the Eucharist to be with you with My ardent love. I did not want to leave My beloved ones at the Last Supper. I love you so, My dear and ardently loved children. I remain with you this day in the Blessed Sacrament, the same Jesus Who died a brutal death on the cross.

Do you know I am truly present there? Do you know that God waits every day for you in the tabernacle? Do you comprehend even a minute amount of My love? You will never on earth know how I love you.

I, Jesus, truly the Son of God, came to earth a man and suffered a brutal death for love of you. I love you so much! I remain with you this day. I long for your love. I want you to come and be with Me in front of the tabernacle. I wait, I yearn for you to come and whisper your love to Me. I am a Person and I love you this day with such an ardent, on-fire love. No human could ever compare a speck to My love for you.

I wait, little ones, in the tabernacle. I wait for you to come and receive Me in Communion. I want you to want Me so much that you cannot wait to come and receive Me. I want to be the love, the Center of your life!

I am Jesus. I am the Son of God. I am writing to you this day. I want to possess your very soul and live in you. I have all you need, sweet ones. Oh, you are so blind! I long for your union with Me. I wrote the book on love. I instituted it, yet you go to the world for your love and do not even come to Me! Oh, I love you, little ones. Little ones, beloved of the Father, loved by the Holy Spirit, mothered by My very own mother, what more can I say? The rest is up to you!

I give you your will with such love and I want your love, freely given. I am God. What do you think you could ever need that I do not give you? I am the Savior of this world. I am Jesus, the Son of God. I am waiting for you. I am longing for you. I am yearning for you. I am God. I have all you ever will need!

Surrender this life to Me. Pray My prayer for union with Me. I want to possess your soul and operate from your very being. I am Jesus. I am the Son of God. I am the Sacred Heart of Jesus. I am Who am. I died and rose on the third day.

Harken to My call, harken to My pleading. Spend your days in love with Me. Nothing matters unless it is rooted in Me and rooted in My love. I am the Son of God. I am the Sacred Heart of Jesus. I love you with the tenderest love. I am waiting this day for you, My beloved one. Come to Me for I am the tenderest of all hearts. I am the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

                (4) The Eucharist Is Your Miracle!

May 11, 1994

I handle each soul individually. I give you exactly what you need to do My work. It is in acceptance of what I give you that you will learn what you need to learn. Here is your will again. You want your way. I do things My way. I am God. I know all things. Surrender, child. Do as I ask you to do. If I wanted to give you visions and signs, I would. I give you as I know you will need.

You must teach others to find Me in their hearts. I am as present as I am when you see Me. If you see Me, you believe. Blessed is he who does not see and believes!

I am giving you what you need. Quit trying to look for signs and wonders. My children, My children, I am present in your hearts! I, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, come to you in Holy Communion. I come inside of you. Do you see the miracle in this?

Spend time with Me after Communion. Don't look anywhere else. I, Jesus, am truly there and you walk away from Me and do senseless things. Then you want a sign? A sign is not as powerful as God within your breast! You miss the magnificence of this gift, child. God, truly present, dwells within you after Holy Communion. Be with Me. Listen in the silence. I will talk to you in your heart.

The risen Christ is with you at every Mass and enters your body. This is a miracle. Do you realize how present I am to you? This is the miracle I give to you. If I appeared to you, I am not closer than this. Relish the gifts I have given you. You want more? You weaken your relationship with Me. I communicate in your hearts. I need you to preach that God is truly talking in the inner promptings of your heart. Who will preach this if you yourself do not know. Come sit in silence with Me. Be still one hour a day. It is so little when I give you 24 hours. No one has the answers you need. No one on this earth knows what you need to know. Quit asking humans supernatural questions. Come to Me and I will give you all you need.

                (5) I Have Risen To Give New Life

April 3, 1994 Easter Sunday

R. Jesus told me on Easter morning to go to a church I had never attended. Jesus was not in the church. They had a table for the altar. The tabernacle was in the corner. There was no sanctuary light. I asked a sister if Jesus was there. She took some hosts out of the freezer in a refrigerator. They were in a baggie. She put them in a bowl in the tabernacle. There was still no light. They had a policeman to direct traffic. People walked in front of the tabernacle in the corner and paid no heed to Jesus. The chairs had their backs to the tabernacle.

Who is this, our Savior, Jesus, the Son of God? God is here, mightier than any king. He is God! Who even pays Him homage? He told me to kiss the floor. I left and cried. This, my people, is the Son of God. They are hurting. They are coming to be fed. I have personal letters from Jesus declaring His love for them. Oh, Jesus, I want to spread your love! I love You so!

Jesus, I am so sorry for all the neglect and indifference. Please send us holy priests to spread Your love. Help me to circulate Your love letters. On this Easter, I vow to do all You lead me to do to spread the ardent on-fire love of Jesus. Use me, fashion me. I want to tell the world how You are in our midst this very day and how You love each of us so much.

Lip service: "the love of God"?? He loved us to His death and resurrection. New life for this world! Jesus, Jesus, I consecrate my life to You and Your most Sacred Heart.

Jesus: My little sweet one, no matter what you do, love for Me. Do not get bowed down, but shed My light to this dark world. Love, My sweet one. Do not argue. Do not defend yourself. Come and be in My Presence. I love you. I guard you. I watch over you. You are My beloved.

This, child, is the Easter message for you and all My beloved ones. Share this with all: "I have risen to give new life. Give My life to all those around you. Love My beloved ones for Me."

R. Alleluia. And He came and gave us strength to do the work He calls us to do, to love a dark world, one that is hurting.

I am the Way. I am the Truth. I am the Life. Alleluia.

Prayer for Union with Jesus

Come to me, Lord, and possess my soul. Come into my heart and permeate my soul. Help me to sit in silence with You and let You work in my heart.

I am Yours to possess. I am Yours to use. I want to be selfless and only exist in You. Help me to spoon out all that is me and be an empty vessel ready to be filled by You. Help me to die to myself and live only for You. Use me as You will. Let me never draw my attention back to myself. I only want to operate as You do, dwelling within me.

I am Yours, Lord. I want to have my life in You. I want to do the will of the Father. Give me the strength to put aside the world and let You operate my very being. Help me to act as You desire. Strengthen me against the distractions of the devil to take me from Your work.

When I worry, I have taken my focus off of You and placed it on myself. Help me not to give in to the promptings of others to change what in my heart You are making very clear to me. I worship You, I adore You and I love You. Come and dwell in me now.

-God's Blue Book, January 17, 1994

                (7) Jesus, Our Innocent Lamb

April 24, 1994

R. I was so filled with intense sorrow during the Mass when the priest talked about the innocent lamb led to the slaughter. I could see Jesus, totally silent, in His humbleness, being led and suffering. It was awful.

Then today, on Mt. Krizevac, at the eleventh station, thinking of them nailing His hands was so much I could hardly take it. I wanted to cry from such sorrow and scream because of the sadness. To do that to Jesus! I couldn't stop sobbing. I love Him so much and He loves us so much. To think of them putting nails in his hands and nails in His feet is awful!

The little, Innocent Lamb! Then I saw his blood. I didn't see it, I see it so strong in my heart and I feel the emotions so strong because I love Him so much and He loves everyone so much to do this and they do not know or even think about Him. Such pain, to know this and watch the blind world.

Oh, Jesus, I love You so. I want to do whatever You ask to spread Your love, but how, how do I do it? I am willing to do whatever You ask. I live for You, my Lord. I love You so!

                (8) Strive for Oneness

May 4, 1994 After Communion 7:10a.m.

R. We are one body, one body in Christ. We are one in Him. He is one in us. This is the intimacy we have with Jesus. We become intimate with each other in our oneness with each other as we are joined in Christ. He is the vine, we are the branches. All who live in Him will bear great fruit.

Jesus: Unite, My children, become one in Me. You must stay connected in My love. Strive for oneness. Satan is division. He wants to separate you. You cannot separate yourselves. We must be as one body.

Such intimacy you can achieve in Me! Strive for oneness with Me, and oneness with one another will follow. As you love Me, truly you, too, will love one another. Do not separate yourselves in any way from one another. Pray to be united, united in Me and My love. I died to bring you life. Stay one in Me and I in you. A body has many members. You must be one. Do not curse or shun one another. Be as your own body. You would not cut off your hand. The body functions when all its parts are working in harmony.

Unite, My beloved ones. Do not separate and hate each other. Love one another as I have loved you. I laid down My life, given freely for you. Love your brothers this way.

This life is so very short, here today, gone tomorrow. Nothing will be achieved if you separate. Love one another. Stay united in love. This is My command to you. All else is of no account. Love God, love one another, and My Father will bless you and I will come and dwell in your hearts!

I love you, My beloved ones. Strive after holiness. Just try, try to be as I have taught you. Strive after holiness, model yourself on My actions. In all things be Christ-like. Little ones, you make life hard for yourself. It is so simple: love, love, love!

Is Your Glass Half-Full or Half-Empty?

April 18, 1994

R. How is your day? Is your glass half-full or half-empty? This is the gauge to how you are feeling inside. Are you seeing all the blessings He is pouring out to you-your health, your food, your loved ones, all the blessings that you have each day? Or are you coming from a place of never having enough? Do you feel irritable and feel that nothing is right, that everything is wrong?

Is the glass half-full or is it half-empty? Do you look for things that are right in your world or do you look for things that are wrong? Do you know that God gives to you exactly what you need and that it is in your acceptance of these things that you grow in your relationship with Him?

Is the glass half-full or half-empty? Do I look at the world and see the love of God in my brothers? Do I look at the world and see the world as not giving to me?

God has all you need. God provides us with our needs. The world is hurting. The world is not that by which we are filled. The world cries from its own pain. How can the world fill us?

We crave the love of God. Our souls can only be satisfied by the love of God. When we see the world as a place that needs God's love, we come to the world with a full glass.

How is your glass today? Is it half-full or half-empty? If you go to our beloved Jesus, He fills you with His love. His love is emitted from your very being. When you spend time with Him and remain fixed in Him, there is peace in His love.

The biggest contribution you can give to yourself and this world is to busy yourself with your relationship with Jesus. Be an empty vessel (glass) ready to be filled by His love.

A Prayer for Intimacy with the Lamb, the Bridegroom of the Soul

Oh Lamb of God, Who take away the sins of the world, come and act on my soul most intimately. I surrender myself, as I ask for the grace to let go, to just be as I exist in You and You act most intimately on my soul. You are the Initiator. I am the soul waiting Your favors as You act in me. I love You. I adore You. I worship You. Come and possess my soul with Your Divine Grace, as I experience You most intimately.

Words of Jesus to Members of
Shepherds of Christ Associates:

"My beloved priest-companion, I intend to use the priestly newsletter, Shepherds of Christ, and the movement, Shepherds of Christ Associates, in a powerful way for the renewal of My Church and the world.

"I will use the newsletter and the chapters of Shepherds of Christ Associates as a powerful instrument for spreading devotion to My Heart and My Mother's Heart.

"I am calling many to become members of Shepherds of Christ Associates. To all of them I will give great blessings. I will use them as instruments to help bring about the triumph of the Immaculate Heart and the reign of My Sacred Heart. I will give great graces to the members of Shepherds of Christ Associates. I will call them to be deeply united to My Heart and to Mary's Heart as I lead them ever closer to My Father in the Holy Spirit."

- Message from Jesus to Father Edward J. Carter, S.J., Founder, as given on July 31, 1994,
feast of Saint Ignatius Loyola, Founder of the Society of Jesus (The Jesuits)
