A Prayer for Intimacy with the Lamb
the Bridegroom of the soul

Oh Lamb of God, Who take away the sins of the world, come and act on my soul most intimately. I surrender myself, as I ask for the grace to let go, to just be as I exist in You and You act most intimately on my soul. You are the Initiator. I am the soul waiting Your favors as You act in me. I love You. I adore You. I worship You. Come and possess my soul with Your Divine Grace, as I experience You most intimately.

Words of Jesus to Members
of Shepherds of Christ Associates:

"My beloved priest-companion, I intend to use the priestly newsletter, Shepherds of Christ, and the movement, Shepherds of Christ Associates, in a powerful way for the renewal of My Church and the world.

"I will use the newsletter and the chapters of Shepherds of Christ Associates as a powerful instrument for spreading devotion to My Heart and My Mother's Heart.

"I am calling many to become members of Shepherds of Christ Associates. To all of them I will give great blessings. I will use them as instruments to help bring about the triumph of the Immaculate Heart and the reign of My Sacred Heart. I will give great graces to the members of Shepherds of Christ Associates. I will call them to be deeply united to My Heart and to Mary's Heart as I lead them ever closer to My Father in the Holy Spirit."

- Message from Jesus to Father Edward J. Carter, S.J., Founder, as given on July 31, 1994,
feast of Saint Ignatius Loyola, Founder of the Society of Jesus (The Jesuits)

Mark 16: 1-11

The empty tomb. The angel’s message

When the Sabbath was over, Mary of Magdala, Mary the mother of James, and Salome, bought spices with which to go and anoint him. And very early in the morning on the first day of the week they went to the tomb when the sun had risen.

They had been saying to one another, ‘Who will roll away the stone for us from the entrance to the tomb?’ But when they looked they saw that the stone—which was very big—had already been rolled back. On entering the tomb they saw a young man in a white robe seated on the right–hand side, and they were struck with amazement. But he said to them, ‘There is no need to be so amazed. You are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified: he has risen, he is not here. See, here is the place where they laid him. But you must go and tell his disciples and Peter, "He is going ahead of you to Galilee; that is where you will see him, just as he told you." ’ And the women came out and ran away from the tomb because they were frightened out of their wits; and they said nothing to anyone, for they were afraid.

Appearances of the risen Christ

Having risen in the morning on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary of Magdala from whom he had cast out seven devils. She then went to those who had been his companions, and who were mourning and in tears, and told them. But they did not believe her when they heard her say that he was alive and that she had seen him.

Luke 24: 13-35

The road to Emmaus

Now that very same day, two of them were on their way to a village called Emmaus, seven miles from Jerusalem, and they were talking together about all that had happened. And it happened that as they were talking together and discussing it, Jesus himself came up and walked by their side; but their eyes were prevented from recognising him. He said to them, ‘What are all these things that you are discussing as you walk along?’ They stopped, their faces downcast.

Then one of them, called Cleopas, answered him, ‘You must be the only person staying in Jerusalem who does not know the things that have been happening there these last few days.’ He asked, ‘What things?’ They answered, ‘All about Jesus of Nazareth, who showed himself a prophet powerful in action and speech before God and the whole people; and how our chief priests and our leaders handed him over to be sentenced to death, and had him crucified. Our own hope had been that he would be the one to set Israel free. And this is not all: two whole days have now gone by since it all happened; and some women from our group have astounded us: they went to the tomb in the early morning, and when they could not find the body, they came back to tell us they had seen a vision of angels who declared he was alive. Some of our friends went to the tomb and found everything exactly as the women had reported, but of him they saw nothing.’

Then he said to them, ‘You foolish men! So slow to believe all that the prophets have said! Was it not necessary that the Christ should suffer before entering into his glory?’ Then, starting with Moses and going through all the prophets, he explained to them the passages throughout the scriptures that were about himself.

When they drew near to the village to which they were going, he made as if to go on; but they pressed him to stay with them saying, ‘It is nearly evening, and the day is almost over.’ So he went in to stay with them. Now while he was with them at table, he took the bread and said the blessing; then he broke it and handed it to them. And their eyes were opened and they recognised him; but he had vanished from their sight. Then they said to each other, ‘Did not our hearts burn within us as he talked to us on the road and explained the scriptures to us?’

They set out that instant and returned to Jerusalem. There they found the Eleven assembled together with their companions, who said to them, ‘The Lord has indeed risen and has appeared to Simon.’ Then they told their story of what had happened on the road and how they had recognised him at the breaking of bread.

230. CONTEMPLATION TO ATTAIN THE
          LOVE OF GOD

    I.  The first is that love ought to manifest itself in
        deeds rather than in words.

231.  2.  The second is that love consists in a mutual
sharing of goods, for example, the lover gives and
shares with the beloved what he possesses, or something
of that which he has or is able to give: and vice versa,
the beloved shares with the lover. Hence, if one has
knowledge, he shares it with the one who does not
possess it; and so also if one has honors, or riches.
Thus, one always gives to the other.

                        23. FIRST PRINCIPLE AND FOUNDATION

Man is created to praise, reverence and serve God
our Lord, and by this means to save his soul.

                        p. 25

46. PRAYER.  In the preparatory prayer I will beg God
our Lord for grace that all my intentions, actions,
and operations may be directed purely to the
praise and service of His Divine Majesty.

Song: Prayer for Union with Jesus

Come to me, Lord, and possess my soul. Come into my heart and permeate my soul. Help me to sit in silence with You and let You work in my heart.

Come to me, Lord, and possess my soul. Come into my heart and permeate my soul. Help me to sit in silence with You and let You work in my heart. (refrain)

I am Yours to possess. I am Yours to use. I want to be selfless and only exist in You. Help me to spoon out all that is me and be an empty vessel ready to be filled by You. Help me to die to myself and live only for You. Use me as You will. Let me never draw my attention back to myself. I only want to operate as You do, dwelling within me.

Come to me, Lord, and possess my soul. Come into my heart and permeate my soul. Help me to sit in silence with You and let You work in my heart. (refrain)

I am Yours, Lord. I want to have my life in You. I want to do the will of the Father. Give me the strength to put aside the world and let You operate my very being. Help me to act as You desire. Strengthen me against the distractions of the devil to take me from Your work.

Come to me, Lord, and possess my soul. Come into my heart and permeate my soul. Help me to sit in silence with You and let You work in my heart. (refrain)

When I worry, I have taken my focus off of You and placed it on myself. Help me not to give in to the promptings of others to change what in my heart You are making very clear to me. I worship You, I adore You and I love You. Come and dwell in me now.

Come to me, Lord, and possess my soul. Come into my heart and permeate my soul. Help me to sit in silence with You and let You work in my heart. (refrain)

Come to me, Lord, and possess my soul. Come into my heart and permeate my soul. Help me to sit in silence with You and let You work in my heart. (refrain)

Picture of the Sacred Heart of JesusLove

February 5, 1994

R. Love is not selfish. It does not demand its own way. It lives for the good of the other.

Love is from God. Love has its source in God. If love in any way separates the two people from God, it is not love. If I love God and know His love, I can give His love to you.

Love comes from a place of strength. It has its origin in God. It is rooted in Him and is a natural expression of one's self because of the person's union with Him. Love is giving. Love is never selfish and demanding.

If I need you to love me, then I am asking you to feed the appetite in my soul. Only God can feed the soul. If you love me, I am very grateful to God for your love, but I do not need it. I am okay if you stop loving me. I may feel sorrow and pain, but I am okay because all love that feeds me comes from God and He never withdraws His love.

Jesus: "Oh," you say, "this is the ideal." "No," I say, "this is love." Love rooted in Me gives. To My death on the cross I gave My love for you. I never demanded you give Me anything. You have a free will. Love is not force. I gave you the commandments to live by. Love God, love one another. You can choose to disregard the commands and love no man. Love does not demand its way. I give to you My love freely. You can accept My love or reject it. You were created with the purpose to know, love and serve God. If you follow other roads, your heart withers and dies. You have a free will to love or not to love, but, if you do not, you are going against the very reason for your being. To live in harmony with yourself and your soul you must love God and your brothers. If you do not love God first, and your brothers, you live a life of discord.

I make all things happen for him who loves and serves the Lord. I am He Who has all the power. I am the Master. You are My beautiful children. You I loved and still love this very day. I give freely My love to you. I wait in the tabernacle for you like an ardent lover. I loved you to My death. I give Myself to you in Communion. Do you know that I, God, give Myself, Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity, to you.

Meditate on My Passion. I am waiting for your love. I love you so much. I long for your love. I want to be with you. You are keeping us apart. You are the reason we are not sharing this intense love. I am always available. Where are you? What could be more important than your time spent alone with God. Seek Me and this union and you will have all you need.

I am Jesus. I am your love. I come to you with such love. Come, My beautiful ones, come and give Me your love.

You stay away and I lament your absence. I loved you to My death. I am the source of love. Come to Me and be filled.

A Prayer of Thanksgiving

O God, on behalf of Shepherds of Christ Ministries and Our Lady of Light Ministry, we offer up these prayers of thanksgiving:

Thank You Father for Your love, patience, and understanding. We know we are not worthy of such gifts, but that You give them anyway - because of Your great love for souls.

Thank You Jesus for the many gifts and graces You give us as members of Your Movement - Shepherds of Christ. We offer You our love and gratitude through Your Mother's Immaculate Heart.

Thank You Holy Spirit for Your special gifts. Please inspire us to be grateful for what we have been given. Please help us to give ourselves in love to You and all we meet.

Thank You Holy Trinity for Your boundless love and mercy. Please help us to nurture Your presence within us. Help us to be obedient to Your commands and give all the glory to You - Our loving God. We especially thank You for the gift of our Heavenly Mother, Mary.

Thank you Mary for your example while on earth, and for your constant intercession today. Please help us to grow in holiness and put into action all that your Son, Jesus, asks of us.

We thank St. Michael and the Holy Angels for their prayers, help, and protection. Finally, we thank the saints in heaven and the souls in purgatory for their prayers. We ask them to unite with us in giving thanks and praise to the most Holy Trinity - Our Heavenly Father, Our Lord Jesus, and our Comforter- the Holy Spirit.

We love You! We love You! We love You! Amen.

Picture of the Sacred Heart of JesusI Long For You!

February 2, 1994 5:10 a.m.

Jesus:  Help for you, My child? Pray constantly! You must not give in to any trap Satan has set for you. Focus on My love for you. You must study all My letters for the words of love I give you. Studying My letters is different than reading them. Read My letters as coming from your lover. You would re-read and dote on every word for hidden meaning. Read a letter this way to try to understand exactly how much I love you.

Constantly focus on My love for you. This is the key to your being entirely filled within. When you are filled by My love, your soul is not hungry. You operate from a place of strength. You have so much to give.

I want you to always be a light in the dark night, to shine to those who are bowed down. Satan constantly works to distract you and keep you from being totally free to receive all I want to give you. Every day this week he has attempted to take our morning prayer time. You need to spend this day in prayer. Pick a day a week that is a total prayer day. You have a date with Me all day. Do not talk on the phone to others. Tell them you must be with Jesus. You pick a day for others but, when I call, you are "called by others." I want a whole day for you to pray. Only I come first.

(R. I smell roses)

Jesus: I go with you whither you go. I am always by your side. When you are alone, think of how much I love you. Meditate on My Passion. This is the answer to all your prayers.

Read and re-read anything that is a worthy source concerning the Passion. It is in studying My way to Calvary that you understand My immense love. It is in understanding My immense love that you are able to love your brothers for Me.

Become selfless, pray the Prayer for Union with Jesus. You are focusing on yourself. I do not want you to do this. Be as an empty vessel, ready to be primed by Me. I fill you with all I need to give you and you are unclogged and able to flow freely. I need you totally fixed in Me to do My work.

I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. I come to you in Holy Communion, the same Jesus that died on the Cross out of so much love. I wait for your presence with the dearest love. I am a Person. I am present in the Eucharist. I want to be in total union with you. I give you My Body and Blood. I give it out of the greatest love. When you receive Me in the Eucharist, focus on Me and My love to come to you, this way, this day. I could at any moment choose to quit coming. Think of what that would mean to your heart! Treasure each moment with Me with such specialness. You, a mere human, receive God-made-man. He comes to you and He enters into your sinful body. I am Jesus, Son of God. Focus on the event at hand! Let Me dwell in you with such honor. You must be prepared for Communion and My Mass. Think of it before Communion. Anticipate your being wed to God.

People prepare and prepare for their wedding. Every detail is tended to. You prepare for a guest and anticipate your time together. Think of how it will be when you receive God in Communion. Anticipate the event with such eagerness that, when you go to My Communion, you are so filled with love that you scarce can breath. You need to see Me as a Person, so full of love and coming to you in the Holy Eucharist to be wed to your soul. It is in your preparation that you will receive such gifts from this union with Me.

Do not run into church hurried. When you awake at night, think of Me and how you will receive God the next day. Anticipate this union with such eagerness. Constantly make Spiritual Communions with Me. It is in realizing My love with you constantly that you will be ready for His Majesty when He comes. A King comes to you. I enter your body and unite with your soul. I am the King of the Kingdom of Heaven. I have chosen to be with you on this very day. You are favored so by My visit to you. I am your lover. I am a person. I want you to want Me with such longing.

You must think of Me all day to be able to long for Me. Think of Me as you do a lover. I am crying out to you, My little ones, I am crying out. I love you and I long to be with you. I come to be united with your soul in the Eucharist. I come to you in the tabernacle. I am your love, I am waiting to be with you and share so much love with you.

You swoon to have your lover with you, yet you come to Me with such coldness. I want your ardent love. I want you to love Me with all your hearts. I want you to realize that I am God and I am a Person and I am sitting, longing for you, little ones. I love you as God. No human person can even come close to My loving you.

What more can I say to you, little hearts? I am Jesus, the Son of God. I love you with the most intense love. I am the lover you crave. I am your all. You are constantly searching this barren land for that which only I can give you.

I am waiting with intense longing for you. I am wounded by your lack of love for Me. I am wounded by the indifferent attitude by which you receive Me in Communion. Such indifference, and I am a lover burning on fire for love of you! This wounds My aching heart!

My people, know how I love you. Come and run to My altar. Come and be alone with Me as you would any precious lover. But, My little ones, I am God. One glimpse of Me and My true love will send you to such heights!

Pray for guidance to be better united with Me in Communion. Focus on My love, not your problems and distractions. They go away when you are filled by Me. My child, I am tending to your life, I am tending to My work through you. You must tend to our love affair and your union with Me. This is where it all is. You are receiving God, truly present in the Eucharist. You are sitting with God, truly present in the tabernacle. God has all the power. He has all love. He is all you need. You wander foolish lands in search of a treasure and the treasure is right in front of your eyes.

Oh, little ones, come. I am here in the tabernacle, Body and Soul, waiting and waiting. I lament the loss of your love and your indifference. I long for you as a real Person. I am an ardent lover on fire for love of you. You cannot even comprehend My love. Oh, I beg you, come in your busy lives and seek the real treasure. Come, My little ones. I am He Who longs for you. I love you so much.

I love you. Jesus.

R. My whole life I searched for the perfect love. Do you look to all those around you for this deep and ardent love that only God can give? Do you look for love in each other, in your children, in your things, for the perfect love? Who will fill you? You are unable to be filled. There is never enough. You search, you find. You marry, you have children. You have friends, yet there is still an emptiness, so you search further. This emptiness can only be filled by the love of Jesus. Others wave in and out. Sometimes they satisfy you. Sometimes they leave you heartbroken. When you go to Jesus, you are filled by His love!

Jesus: I am He Whom you seek. Why do you look in every corner and never realize how truly simple this is? I am Who am. I am all you need. When you come to Me, I fill you. You come empty, you leave full. You can give to those who are hurting because you have been filled by Me. How do you love the unloving, those who never give but take? How did I love those who persecuted Me? How did I love the very people who beat Me and condemned Me to death? How could I, in My agony, dying on the cross, look to John and give all of you My mother? My thoughts were on you, My child, in My agony, dying on the cross.

I could do all these things because I love as God loves. I want to give you My love so you can minister to your sick brothers. So you can love when they hate. I want you to touch their souls as I did so many when I responded with such love to such violence. I want you to love with the hearts of God. To do this you must come to Me for your love. Search you no more a barren desert. Come to the land brimming with milk and honey. I will fill you to the brim and over. You will walk and not get weary. You will fly on eagles' wings and you, My child, will be My minister to those who desperately need your love.

R. How to love God on this earth is not all we seek. We are drawn to Him as steel to a magnet, yet our souls crave union with Him totally. To behold the face of God and to embrace Him totally! In my earthly form, I can never behold God as I crave. I seek, I find. It is God Whom I seek, only to realize that I cannot behold Him here as I crave.

The more I know God, the more I realize that to know Him is never enough. I have a bittersweet feeling in my chest of beholding God, but never enough. (Refer to the message of January 5).

At some times I feel God's presence and am satisfied more than at others. Sometimes my heart is in such intense longing that it is painful. Oh, the ways of the heart. God is truly that which our heart craves, but we have so many ways we know and feel Him. Sometimes we are feeling great, sometimes not so good, but our souls know that only in Him are they at rest.

Excerpt from Priestly Newsletter 1998 - ISSUE FOUR

Shortly before he was to die from cancer, Joseph Cardinal Bernardin left us these inspiring words about peace: "It is the first day of November, and fall is giving way to winter. Soon the trees will lose the vibrant colors of their leaves and snow will cover the ground. The earth will shut down, and people will race to and from their destinations bundled up for warmth. Chicago winters are harsh. It is a time of dying.

"But we know that spring will soon come with all its new life and wonder.

"It is quite clear that I will not be alive in the spring. But I will soon experience new life in a different way...

"What I would like to leave behind is a simple prayer that each of you may find what I have foundGod's special gift to us all: the gift of peace. When we are at peace, we find the freedom to be most fully who we are, even in the worst of times. We let go of what is non-essential and embrace what is essential. We empty ourselves so that God may more fully work within us. And we become instruments in the hands of the Lord."

Suffering: A Source of Life

I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd lays down his life for his sheep. The hired man, since he is not the shepherd and the sheep do not belong to him, abandons the sheep as soon as he sees a wolf coming, and runs away, and then the wolf attacks and scatters the sheep; he runs away because he is only a hired man and has no concern for the sheep. I am the good shepherd; I know my own and my own know me, just as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for my sheep. (Jn 10:11-15)1

Yet ours were the sufferings he was bearing, ours the sorrows he was carrying, while we thought of him as someone being punished and struck with affliction by God; whereas he was being wounded for our rebellions, crushed because of our guilt; the punishment reconciling us fell on him, and we have been healed by his bruises. We had all gone astray like sheep, each taking his own way, and Yahweh brought the acts of rebellion of all of us to bear on him. Ill-treated and afflicted, he never opened his mouth, like a lamb led to the slaughter-house, like a sheep dumb before its shearers he never opened his mouth. (Is 53:4-7)

  • He hung upon a cross on a hill called Calvary. Death was near. How much Jesus had already suffered! He had been derisively crowned with thorns. In a terribly weakened condition, He carried the heavy cross to the hill of Golgotha. There He was stripped of His garments and mercilessly nailed to the cross. After all this brutal and agonizing suffering, Jesus finally died.

Truly the Good Shepherd had laid down His life for His sheep. That magnificent Heart, overflowing with love for His Father and all of us, had beat its last.

On the third day, Jesus rose: ‘Destroy this Temple, and in three days I will raise it up.’ The Jews replied, ‘It has taken forty-six years to build this Temple: are you going to raise it up again in three days?’ But he was speaking of the Temple that was his body, and when Jesus rose from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this, and they believed the scripture and what he had said. (Jn 2:19-22)

Yes, the Good Shepherd died and rose for our salvation. Behold, the paschal mystery of Jesus!

When we are baptized we are incorporated into Christ's paschal mystery of death and resurrection. St. Paul speaks of this marvelous union with Jesus: You cannot have forgotten that all of us, when we were baptised into Christ Jesus, were baptised into his death. So by our baptism into his death we were buried with him, so that as Christ was raised from the dead by the Father’s glorious power, we too should begin living a new life. (Rm 6:3-4)

Christ has structured the Christian life by the way He lived, died, and rose from the dead. It is obvious, then, as Paul tells us above that the pattern of death-resurrection must be at the heart of the Church’s life. Individually and collectively, we continually die in Christ so that we may continually rise in Him. Thus we pass over in a process of ongoing religious transition to a greater participation in Christ’s resurrection. It is true that our participation in Christ’s resurrection will reach its completion only in eternal life. Nevertheless, we begin the life of resurrection here upon earth, in the here and now of human life, in the midst of joy and pain, in the experience of success and failure, in the sweat of our brow, in the enjoyment of God’s gifts. As Christians, we should have a sense of dynamic growth concerning our here and now life of resurrection.

We cannot maintain the life of resurrection or grow in it without a willingness to suffer. This does not mean that we need to feel overwhelmed and heavily burdened in our lives. The greater portion of suffering for most Christians seems to be an accumulation of ordinary hardships, difficulties, and pains. At times, however, deep suffering, even suffering of agonizing proportions can enter into one’s life. Whether the sufferings one encounters are of the more ordinary variety or of the more rare and extreme type, Christians must convince themselves that to relate properly to the cross is to grow in resurrection, and growth in resurrection means we will also have an increased capacity to help give resurrection to others.

  • Pope John Paul II speaks of the role suffering plays in the Christian life: "Every man has his own share in the redemption. Each one is also called to share in that suffering through which the redemption was accomplished. He is called to share in that suffering through which all human suffering has also been redeemed. In bringing about the redemption through suffering, Christ has also raised human suffering to the level of the redemption. Thus each man in his suffering can also become a sharer in the redemptive suffering of Christ…

"Those who share in Christ’s sufferings have before their eyes the paschal mystery of the cross and resurrection, in which Christ descends, in a first phace, to the ultimate limits of human weakness and impotence: Indeed, he dies nailed to the cross. But if at the same time in this weakness there is accomplished his lifting up, confirmed by the power of the resurrection, then this means that the weaknesses of all human sufferings are capable of being infused with the same power of God manifested in Christ’s cross. In such a concept, to suffer means to become particularly susceptible, particularly open, to the working of the salvific powers of God offered to humanity in Christ. In him God has confirmed his desire to act especially through suffering, which is man’s weakness and emptiness of self." 2

  • Dom Hubert Van Zeller observes: "Men and women who might be turning their afflictions over to God, who have only to unite themselves in spirit with Christ’s passion, are found so often to stop short, and even to make of their trial further matter for selfishness. Even if we do not rebel positively against God’s providential will, we can become so preoccupied with our troubles as to leave God out of account.

"Instead of making us compassionate for others we can squander compassion on ourselves. Suffering is meant to enlarge our hearts, not shrink them. With suffering goes the grace of patience, peace, fortitude, penitence and love. All this can be missed if we make the mistake of turning in upon ourselves as the result of our trials.

"To the Jews the cross was a stumbling block, and to the gentiles foolishness. What is it to us? Often it can be an emblem merely, the significance of the symbol forgotten. The cross is something in which we are, by reason of our Christian inheritance, inextricably involved. Do we yield to it or harden ourselves against it? The cross is not just two planks fitted together on a certain day in the history of the world, and of all the relics which we venerate the most sacred, but a fact of our human experience which may or may not be sacred according to what we do about it." 3

  • Contrary to what many think, Fr. Edward Leen reminds us that suffering is compatible with happiness: "If men are prone to err in conceiving the nature of happiness, they will necessarily err in judging of its opposite. They commonly think that a man cannot possibly be happy if he is a prey to constant sickness; if he is condemned to experience habitual poverty and to be buried in obscurity; if he fails to take an important part on the world stage; if he is unsuccessful in his enterprises; if he is deprived of the opportunities of intellectual or aesthetic development; and finally, if he fails to gain the applause and the esteem of his fellows. Now though all these things mean grievous sufferings for men, neither singly nor in combination have they the power to rob him of essential happiness.

"Apart from the consideration of the life of the Redeemer, certain undeniable facts of history justify this contention. The saints, in all ages, have been persons whose lot it was, generally speaking, to undergo greater trials and sufferings than others are called upon to endure. Yet they were habitually happy, buoyant and joyous human beings…

"The saints were not violently wresting words from their literal meaning when they proclaimed themselves happy. For the happiness they enjoyed was that which is proper to, and satisfying for man…

"God planned an unbroken life of happiness for man. The Fall modified, but did not prevent the realization of this plan. Suffering, but not unhappiness, becomes the condition of the earthly portion of men’s existence. God does not make unhappiness here to be the price to pay for happiness hereafter. To be happy, in the minds of all men, is to fare well, that is, to live excellently... The Saviour Himself suffered intensely, but He lived the highest life possible for men. He was, therefore, happy. He assured men that He could share His own blissful experience with them. It may appear paradoxical to associate happiness with the mental image of One Who is called the Man of Sorrows. But an analysis of the nature of happiness will show that it was fully realized in the earthly life of the Saviour…" 4

  • Caryll Houselander writes with great sensitivity regarding the second station of the Way of the Cross: "They put His own garments on Him again, and Jesus comes out from the judgment hall of Pilate to receive His cross.

"He comes to it gladly! This is a strange thing, for the cross is a symbol of shame, and it is to be His deathbed. Already He sees the very shape of His death in the wide-spread arms. From this moment He will be inseparable from it, until He dies on it. He will labour and struggle under the weight of it… Yet Christ welcomes the cross. He embraces it. He takes it into His arms. He lays His beautiful hands on it tenderly, those strong hands of a carpenter that are so familiar with the touch of wood." 5

  • Henri Nouwen tells this story: "I would like to tell you the story of a middle-aged man whose career was suddenly interrupted by the discovery of leukemia, a fatal blood cancer. All his life plans crumbled and all his ways had to change. But slowly he was able to ask himself no longer: ‘Why did this happen to me?’ but instead: ‘What is the promise hidden in this event?’ When his rebellion became a new quest, he felt that he could give strength and hope to other cancer patients and, that by facing his condition directly, he could make his pain a source of healing for others. To this day, this man not only does more for patients than many ministers are able to, but he also refound his life on a level that he had never known before." 6

  • St. Paul tells us: But we hold this treasure in pots of earthenware, so that the immensity of the power is God’s and not our own. We are subjected to every kind of hardship, but never distressed; we see no way out but we never despair; we are pursued but never cut off; knocked down, but still have some life in us; always we carry with us in our body the death of Jesus so that the life of Jesus, too, may be visible in our body. Indeed, while we are still alive, we are continually being handed over to death, for the sake of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus, too, may be visible in our mortal flesh. (2 Co 4:7-11)

The Birth of the Full Ministries
of the Shepherds of Christ

"I wish to share with you part of a message which Jesus gave us on October 13, 1994. The message tells us about the expansion of the Shepherds of Christ movement:

'My beloved priest-companion, today I come to you with another mission. I am asking you to establish Shepherds of Christ Ministries. At My request you have already begun the priestly newsletter, "Shepherds of Christ", and the prayer chapters, Shepherds of Christ Associates...

'I am giving you this message on this day, the 77th Anniversary of the Great Apparition at Fatima, because of the close connection between the Shepherds of Christ movement and the Fatima message. The Fatima message is centered in devotion to My Heart and My Mother's Heart, especially in consecration to Our Hearts. Shepherds of Christ Ministries is also centered in devotion to Our Hearts. I will use Shepherds of Christ Ministries as a great instrument in helping to bring about the triumph of the Immaculate Heart and the reign of My Sacred Heart. When this occurs, My Church and the world will be experiencing the great era of peace promised by My Mother at Fatima.

'Today, then, October 13, 1994, the 77th Anniversary of the Great Apparition at Fatima, marks the birth of Shepherds of Christ Ministries. I pour forth the great love of My Sacred Heart to all. I am Jesus, Chief Shepherd of the flock.'

THE GLORIOUS MYSTERIES

The Resurrection

  1. Jesus has told us how He is the vine and we are the branches. We must stay rooted in Him so that His life flows through us. We cannot become disconnected from the vine. We are one, joined with Him.
  2. Hail Mary...
  3. Jesus speaks:
I am calling you, My special apostles, to this farm on this day of October 13th, 1996. I will fill your hearts with the fire of My love, and the fire of this love will spread across the earth and many hearts will know My love and be touched through you. Open wide your heart during this rosary that I may speak to you and tell you of My burning love for you. I am giving to you an abundant sharing in My life. Open your heart. I am knocking at the door of your heart. You must not close your heart. Open wide that I can come in and fill you with My divine love.
  4. Oh, My beloved Jesus, I see You glistening and covered in white. I know that You rose on the third day and that there is such glory in the resurrection. My life is a constant death and resurrection as I live in You.
  5. Focus on the body of a man hanging on the cross. You see this vividly before your eyes-a man covered with blood, His head crowned with thorns. He is beaten and withered. This is the Almighty God, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who came and gave Himself for love of us. Focus on this picture in your mind. Make it so clear as if you were there, as if you are seeing this with your eyes, at this moment, this man on the cross, with flesh covered with blood. Jesus died. He was locked in a tomb for three days. Now see next to this picture of this man the glorified body of Jesus, His glorified wounds, as He comes forth from the tomb. The Almighty God, our beloved and loving Jesus-He is alive, He is with us this day. He lives in us in a special way. When we are baptized and in the state of grace, God is alive within us and He shares with us His divine life. We are Christ to one another for He is alive in us.
When I talk to you, I am seeing the Jesus that is alive inside of you. We are all gathered as one body. We see Jesus. We see Him dead on the cross. This is how much that He loved us. Do we not know that He died for us because of this great love, that He wants us to be one body? I see the vine and the branches and I see how they are so connected that the life and the fluid runs through the vine to the branches-it's all one. We are one in Him. He has given us a sharing in His divine life. Look at us, how separate we are with each other, how we hold ourselves at arm's length and separate ourselves from one another. We are called in the Shepherds of Christ Movement to be one flock with one shepherd.
The Almighty God is alive and He lives in us. I went to Mass and Communion this morning and I received the Body of Christ; you receive the Body of Christ. He gives to us His life. He gives to us Himself. We must strive in this Movement to be one, to live this consecration in our lives that we are one with each other, that we put aside all of the tauntings by the devil to divide us, that we realize that division is from Satan. As we march across this United States and this world, we will carry the fire of His love, alive inside of us, for He is alive and He lives within our hearts. We are called to this special mission as His apostles to carry this message, this message of His love to the world.
Oh, Jesus, how tenderly I love you. You are alive in my very being. You are all that I live for and I want to carry this message out to the world for you have delivered this message with such love. You are so good. Fill our hearts with the fire of Your love and give us Your abundant grace that we will have the courage to carry this message to the ends of the earth. And there was darkness. I see the darkness in the night, but the light steals across the sky and the fire of His love spreads across this earth as His life lives in us and many are touched by the fire of His love.
    Song: Spirit Song
  6. We are not like the world, we see this world and it is Godless. In many cases the world has turned away from God. It is at Fatima that Mary said that we must stop offending God. She has given to us the peace plan that we will have peace on this earth-it is in consecrating our hearts. She said until a sufficient number have consecrated their hearts to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary we will not have peace in the world. She said we must pray the rosary, that we must observe the First Saturday devotion, that we must make reparation to Their Hearts. Why-why do we not do what Mary is asking us to do. It is so simple?
  7. Mary appeared at Fatima in July, 1917 and she told the children, "You have seen hell, where the souls of poor sinners go. To save them God wishes to establish in the world devotion to my Immaculate Heart. If people do what I tell you, many souls will be saved and there will be peace. The war (World War I then raging) is going to end, but if people do not stop offending God, another and worse one will begin in the reign of Pius XI. When you shall see a night illuminated by an unknown light (January 2, 1938) know that this is a great sign that God gives you that He is going to punish the world for its many crimes by means of war, hunger and persecution of the Church and the Holy Father."1
Mary has appeared to me, almost every day from July the 5th of 1994 until September the 5th of 1995-14 months-this same cry that came from our Heavenly Mother at Fatima, that we must quit offending God, that we must do what she is telling us to do. This is the peace plan. He is alive and He lives in us. We are being asked to go into the world and to spread His love to the far corners of the earth.
  8. He gives to us His life in the Eucharist. Who are we that the Almighty God gives to us, human persons, a sharing in His Divine Life. He is treated with such indifference and such neglect. If we knew, if we could see, the glories of the Almighty God, but we are so blind in our sight. We do not see and we do not hear. We must pray for the grace that we will see, that we will be the apostles that He is calling to carry this message out to the world.
  9. He rose from the dead and He appeared to the apostles. We see Thomas-he did not believe. How are we this day? Do we believe? The Almighty God is truly present in His Divinity and humanity in the Holy Eucharist and He is outpouring His grace, His life to us. Do we believe? Do we believe that He is truly present and that He is giving Himself to us this day? He is here! He is truly present in the Eucharist and He is alive in our hearts!
  10. He laments and laments how He is treated as a dead object. He is ignored in the Tabernacle.
The Almighty God is here. We spend all this money and go to concerts, go to football games, all this time in recreation and the Almighty God is ignored. Mary appeared in 1917 and said that we must stop offending God. Look at our world. He has called us in the Shepherds of Christ Movement and is giving to us abundant grace that we will grow more and more in our relationship with Him and we will be His leaders going into this world carrying the fire of His love to the far corners of the earth.
He is alive. He says, I am the Way, the Truth and the Life and I am with you this day. Open your eyes and see. Open your hearts and live for I AM the Way, the Truth and the Life.

Our Lord Ascends Into Heaven

  1. He took His apostles out to the place of His Ascension and He raised His arms and He ascended into heaven. Do we see the glories of these mysteries, that the Almighty God rose from the dead, that He ascended into heaven? We do not see the glory. We are so focused on the details in our lives. We see with such limited vision. The Almighty God is alive and He is here and He is calling us. Each one of us has been called to this farm, this day, for He knew you would answer this calling. He knew that in your heart you want the deepest love affair with Him, that you want to be one with Him. He has called you as His apostles to carry out His love to the world, to light up the darkness with His life alive within us.
  2. We look out and we see the beauty of this day, with the sun in the sky and the light, and all the colors in the trees. We see the life in each blade of grass and in each leaf on the tree and tonight the darkness will cover this earth and although the trees and the leaves are still there, and this beautiful river, we will not be able to see with this clarity. The earth this day is covered with darkness for many souls have cut themselves off from the vine. They are withering and dying in their hearts. He is calling us and giving us abundant grace that we will be one in Him, that He will live in us, and as we live on this earth, He will touch others through us. This is a tremendous calling from the Almighty God-that we have been chosen and called and given this grace to be so close to Him.
  3. Song: A Song From Jesus
  4. Song: Little Child
  5. Hail Mary...
  6. On Ascension Thursday, 1995, I went through such an experience. First, Jesus took me to the height of heaven and I experienced such ecstasy. I was at church and later that day when I went home I was given great anguish and suffering and He called out, "I am alive, I am alive, I am alive!" and He said that He wanted Fr. Carter in the Shepherds of Christ Movement to reach the souls on this earth with the fire of His love. It was in such pain and suffering that I was buckled over and hearing the Almighty God call out, "I am alive, I am alive, I am alive". How do we treat Jesus? Do we treat Him as if He is alive? Do we love Him with all our heart, our whole soul and our whole being? Do you hear the laments of our beloved Savior, the Almighty God, who gave Himself and died on the cross? He is alive. He wants this burning love affair with us. Many of the Masses, many of our prayers, are said with lack of emotion in our hearts. He wants us to love Him with the deepest burning love, not to go through the motions. Every prayer is a love affair with our beloved Savior. The Rosary we sing-(the Rosary song), and He wants us to say from our heart, the bottom of our heart, "Jesus, we love You. Mary, we love you. Oh, the Rosary, the Rosary, is the love of Their Two Hearts. Oh the Rosary, the Rosary, is the love of Their Two Hearts."
In the September 10th rosary that we circulated to you, Jesus laments how He does not receive a drop of heartfelt love from many of His beloved religious that He has chosen and loves so much. This is why He has called us in the Shepherds of Christ Movement, to pray, to pray for His beloved religious. He loves them so much and He wants, He wants this burning love from them, His chosen ones. We are gathered here for this reason-to realize that the Almighty God really is talking to us, that He has called us, that this is an important mission, that we need to pray so fervently for our priests and our religious, that this is His instrument, the Shepherds of Christ Movement, to help in the renewal of the Church and the world.
  7. Jesus speaks:
I am alive, I am alive, I am alive, and I live in your heart. Open your heart and let Me come inside of you. I want to touch My beloved souls this day. Will you say "yes" to this calling? Will you go to the ends of the earth and spread this movement? Will you pray, pray fervently for this intention: to lead the religious to the fires of love, found in My Most Sacred Heart?
  8. Song: Spirit Song
    Jesus speaks:
I am alive, I am alive, I am alive, and I live in your hearts.
    Response:
Jesus no longer walks this earth, but He is alive and He lives in us.
  9. Song: "Come Unto Me All Who Are Weary.."
    Jesus speaks:
I am alive, I am alive, I am alive, and I am the Almighty God, all powerful. You see with such limited vision. You must surrender and let go and let Me run your life. You are holding on, My beloved ones. You must realize that I am all powerful, all mighty, and that I am guarding you and I am with you in a special way this day.
  10. Jesus speaks:
Carry My light into the darkness.
    Response:
And the light came across the dark sky and many were touched with the fire of His love.
Because you answered this call, the call to be His apostle, to pray for the priests, to help spread the consecration as Our Lady has asked us at Fatima. We will not have peace in the world until our hearts are filled with love, and she says until a sufficient number have consecrated their hearts to the hearts of Jesus and Mary, we will not have peace. This is the good news. As the Movement spreads across this earth, as hearts are consecrated to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary, we will have the peace that Our Lady has promised at Fatima but we must do as she has told us to do. We must consecrate our hearts and spread this to the world. We must pray the rosary, observe the First Saturday devotion, and make reparation to Their Hearts.

The Descent of the Holy Spirit Upon the Apostles

  1. "When Pentecost day came round, they had all met together, when suddenly there came from heaven a sound as of a violent wind which filled the entire house in which they were sitting; and there appeared to them tongues as of fire; these separated and came to rest on the head of each of them. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak different languages as the Spirit gave them power to express themselves." (Acts 2: 1-4)2
  2. Jesus speaks:
I call you, I call you, I call you, My beloved apostles. I call you to go out to the ends of the earth and to preach My love. I am longing and thirsting for My beloved souls to come to Me. Bring to Me the souls, the souls I love. I am Jesus, do you hear this call? Will you bring to Me the souls of My loved ones? Will you pray for the priests and the religious, for it is through them that I will feed the hungry souls?
    Response:
Look at the priest, see the priest in the Mass, the priest that consecrates the bread and wine into the Body and Blood of Christ. He gives to us the Body and Blood of Christ. See Jesus in the priest, giving us His Body. Each one of us go to the communion rail and God gives to us Himself. We are one in Him. Jesus has told me how we sit in church, like stiffs, all separate, going through the motions. This is not love! He wants heartfelt love in our hearts, to realize that the Almighty God, in the greatest act of love gave Himself as a sacrifice on the cross and this sacrifice is sacramentally made present in every Mass. The Mass is a love affair with God. The deepest union with Him is to give ourselves to Mary, for we are sinners. She is the pure and sinless one. We give ourselves to Mary and we go to Him in her pure and sinless heart, to the very depth of His Heart.
He is alive and we are the apostles that must carry this life into the world in our hearts. He is operating through us. Will we say "yes"? Do we see the world, do we see the suffering children, do we see the babies that are murdered in the wombs of their mother, do we see what the children are being fed on television..but we hold back our tongues about the love of God? When I began to receive these messages, for six weeks before, constantly I heard, "Feed the hungry, feed the hungry!" I prayed and I prayed and I prayed to know His will. In September of 1991, He called out to me, for six weeks, constantly, " Feed the hungry!" The world is starving for the love of God! Let us feed the hungry with this love of God. Let us pray for the priests for He gives us them.
  3. We encounter Christ through the sacraments. His life is outpoured in the Mass. Grace is outpoured in part according to the disposition of the person offering sacrifice. As we become one in Their Hearts, as the priest becomes one in Their Hearts, consecrated to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary, an immense amount of grace is released on the earth. It is through this that many souls will know God, that many souls will be saved. We help in the act of redemption. We must spread this Movement to the far corners of the earth. It is as Mary said: we must consecrate our hearts to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary. This is the key-Mary's heart is the gateway to going to the deepest chamber of the Heart of Christ.
  4. We see how Peter denied Christ. We see how the apostles were afraid. We see Thomas did not believe. We see them stumble and fall and run away, and then we see them, after the Holy Spirit descended upon them. They went out into the world and thousands were converted. They were filled with the fire of God's love. Let us, God, be filled with the fire of Your love.
Dear Holy Spirit, give us this fearlessness to go into this darkened world and to carry the light, to carry the messages of Your burning love to the souls that are starving and are longing to be fed.
  5. Song: Lady of Fatima
    Jesus speaks:
I am alive, I am alive, I am alive, and I live in you. Open your heart that I may touch so many of My beloved souls through you. I am Jesus. Will you say "yes", My beloved apostles?
  6. Look into the eyes of the children that are suffering this day. Mary has sent us on a special mission to spread the rosaries and the consecration to the children in the schools. Do you see the children, the children in the schools today that are hard in their hearts, the children that are suffering, that do not know the love of God? Mary is giving us special help to spread these rosaries in the schools. She wants this all over the United States. For nine months Mary asked me to spread the rosary and the consecration to the children. We are the apostles that He is sending into the world this day. This is what Mary and Jesus are asking us to do. It is so little-to spread these rosaries and consecrations to the schools, but Mary said at Fatima we will not have peace in the world until we do what she has told us to do. The Shepherds of Christ Movement is a great part of the completion of the Fatima message. These rosaries are a big part of the completion of the Fatima message. We must carry these rosaries to our children in the schools.
  7. Satan presses down on us and tries to stop us. The pressure that has gone on just to have this today is unbelievable, how Satan can try to stop this. Look at the Fatima message, how it has been blocked. Why, why, why are not we paying attention to this Fatima message that Mary gave in 1917? It is the devil that has blocked this message. This is a major part of the completion of the Fatima message so we will be met with such resistance. Jesus, Jesus wants us to bring Him souls. So many souls would be saved through the First Saturday devotion. Why, why do we not talk about the Fatima message like we should-about praying the rosary and consecrating our hearts, and the First Saturday devotion, and making reparation to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary? It is so simple but the devil has blocked this. If we want peace we should do what Mary has told us for she is the Queen of Peace and the peace of the world has been entrusted to her. We are the apostles. We are being sent into the world to carry this message.
  8. Hail Mary...
  9. Hail Mary...
  10. Hail Mary...

The Assumption of Our Lady Into Heaven

  1. We see Mary taken body and soul into heaven. We live here, we struggle everyday with so many struggles. We are so focused on the daily events. We do not realize that soon we too will go to heaven, if we love and serve the world, if we love and serve God. The world has turned Godless to a large degree. Mary appeared to me every day, except for a few days, for fourteen months and begged and pleaded that we spread the love of her Son to this world, that we spread these rosaries to the world, that we go to the children with the rosaries and the consecrations. It is so hard to see our heavenly Mother and to know what she is saying and to not do more. Jesus and Mary have called you here this day. You have been chosen by them. This is the message that they wish to deliver to you, that many souls are suffering and going to hell. Over and over again I heard Our Lady call out, "Please, please the souls are dropping into hell like rain. You must go out to the world and spread the love of my Son."
  2. On October 13th, Mary said, "I am the Lady of the Rosary. I have come to warn the faithful to amend their lives and to ask pardon for their sins. They must not offend Our Lord anymore for He is already too grievously offended by the sins of men. People must say the rosary. Let them continue saying it every day."3 This is a great gift that God has given to us-rosaries from the Hearts of Jesus and Mary. For in the rosary this week Jesus said that the times ahead will be very dark and unless we discipline our minds by praying the rosary all through the day, it will be very hard for us when these dark days come. Mary is our heavenly Mother. She was taken into heaven but she is very much with us. She has told us what we must do. We must pray the rosary. She is our heavenly Mother. As a mother that tells a child what to eat and how to dress, Mary is telling us this: that we must try to pray l5 decades of the rosary every day for the times ahead will be dark and we need to have disciplined thoughts. In praying the rosary, our thoughts become disciplined. We are meditating on the lives of Jesus and Mary.
  3. Hail Mary...
  4. I saw a documentary on Fatima and in this documentary, Mary appeared to the three children and then they showed the events of World War II. The bodies were being thrown on a heap. And it just about tore my insides apart because I identified so much with watching Mary appear and then nobody listened or not a lot of people listened and World War II happened and so many people were killed. John brought a statue and asked me to read this, "One day during World War II, a group of soldiers wondered into a small French village which had been badly bombed. They stood in the village square and looked at the desolation around them. Nearly everything seemed battered and broken. Suddenly, one of the soldiers noticed something interesting close by on the ground. It looked like a statue. There were cracks and chips in it and several pieces were missing. It was badly damaged. A few of the soldiers stood it up right. Immediately they knew that it was a statue of Jesus. The men began to look for the missing parts. They put them together as best as they could and then they set the statue on a pedestal that was still standing, but the hands were missing. The men looked very carefully for the hands, but they were no where to be found. When the men were about to give up, one of them said he knew exactly what to do. He made a rough sign and hung it over the arms of the statue. The sign read, 'I have no hands but yours.'"
  5. Jesus gave me a message that we are His hands and we are His Heart beating in this world. We must truly be real lovers, lovers living in this world loving one another, one with each other. It is in going to the pure heart of Mary, that we will unite in this deep love affair with Jesus.
  6. Jesus speaks:
You are My hands. You are My Heart beating in this world. My beloved apostles, will you say "yes"? Will you go into the world? Will you carry my light in the darkness? Will you tell the children who are suffering how I love them? Will you go to the nursing homes and tell the elderly how I am longing to be with them, to talk to them, to hear the words from their lips that they love Me? You are My apostles of love.
    Response:
This is the anniversary of the sixth apparition at Fatima. Mary appeared every day for fourteen months to me and delivered these rosaries. That is all she kept saying: that we must lead others to the love of her Son, Jesus. The message is so simple. It is love God and love one another. All the fanciness and the frills! Why can we not live this message which is the message of love God and love each other.
  7. We are so focused on the things of this earth and our heavenly Mother has appeared so many times and told us what we must do-she made it so clear at Fatima. Do we think our Blessed Mother will change, that she will change her peace plan? We must, we must carry this message into the world. We must do what Jesus and Mary are asking us to do.
  8. Hail Mary...
  9. Hail Mary...
  10. Hail Mary...

The Coronation of Our Lady

  1. Mary speaks:
I am Our Lady of the Holy Rosary. I am asking you this day to carry these rosaries into this world. It is through the rosary that you will have peace in your hearts. My little children, you must learn to discipline your thoughts. You must come to Our Hearts and meditate on Our lives. Our lives will live in your life as you meditate on the mysteries of the rosary.
  2. Mary speaks:
There is a time, a time of struggle. There is a time of joy. There is a time when the Sacred Heart of Jesus will reign. The time for these things is near at hand. My little children, I have called you on this October 13th, 1996. I have called you to go into this world and to carry the rosary as your weapon against Satan. It is through the rosary and the scapular that I will save this world. I am Mary, your Mother. I am Our Lady of the Holy Rosary.
  3. We see the angel appear to Mary and ask her to be the Mother of God. This is the Father's plan-that Mary would be the Mother of God, and we see Mary as crowned Queen of Heaven and Earth. Do we see the plan of the Father unfold in our lives? That our lives are so important to help in the salvation of many? That He is truly calling us to be apostles to carry His love, His light, into the dark world?
  4. Jesus speaks:
I am with you in a special way, My beloved apostles. I am calling you this day. This is an urgent call. You must go into the world and carry My messages of love to the souls that are hungry and suffering and in pain.
  5. Think vividly of the moment of death. There is a soul at this moment on the edge of death. How did they live their life? Think of the world today. Is the world living according to the way that God has told us that we must live? He told us that we must love God and love one another. There is a soul at this moment on the edge of death. Where will this soul go? Did the soul love God? Did it matter about his clothes and his house and all his riches? I heard Mary, Our Mother, call out time and time and time again about the souls that were going into hell. It is like the Fatima documentary-she called and people did not heed what she said and there was World War II. Mary does not appear as she once appeared and she has ceased giving messages as she once did. She still gives messages but they are not as many. She says that we are not listening to the messages that she has given and that she cannot hold back the hand of her Son any longer.
  6. This is the good news: if we do what Mary tells us at Fatima, we will have peace. There will be the reign of the Sacred Heart and the triumph of her Immaculate Heart in which souls will fervently love Jesus with the greatest love. Her plan is so simple but Satan has blocked this plan. Satan has blocked these rosary messages and meditations. We must pray that we can circulate the messages of Jesus and Mary to the world that is hungry and in need of help.
  7. One day soon we will be with God in heaven, forever and ever.
  8. Wrapped in the embrace of the Almighty God for all eternity. Heaven is a place of love for the Almighty God is love. We will be satisfied. We will know love. We will be at peace.
But, hell is a place where there is no love, there is no community, there is isolation, there is longing for God for all eternity.
He is alive, He is alive and He is with us this day. You must spread this message to the ends of the earth.
  9. Mary speaks:
My little children, I call you children because you are My children, willful in your ways. I have called to you to pray My rosary and to spread the rosary to the hurting children in this world. I am asking you on this special day that you carry the rosary to as many souls as possible. I will aid you in all efforts to spread the rosaries to the world. Read these meditations to the elderly in the Nursing Homes, teach them about the power of the rosary, bring the rosary to the children, tell them about our lives, about our love for them.
I am Mary, your Mother, I am Our Lady of the Holy Rosary.
  10. Song: The Rosary

Ending Message:

Jesus speaks:
How tenderly I love you, My beloved ones. I am Jesus. I have called you this day for this special meeting. I have called you, My apostles. Will you go into the darkness? Will you spread the message of My love? Will you carry the rosary into the world? Will you touch the hearts of those that are hurting and in pain? Will you be My apostles of love? I am calling you to love God and to love one another, to be one in your hearts, to put aside all hatred and bitterness within your heart, to not give into the tauntings of Satan to divide you, to always operate in love, to focus on God. Let your hearts be filled with love.

Glory be...

"My dear friends, let us love each other, since love is from God and everyone who loves is a child of God and knows God. Whoever fails to love does not know God, because God is love." (1 John 4: 7-8)4

6:20 Prayers

Jesus speaks:    My dear people,

I am a God of justice.

I have called you to obedience to the ten commandments.

The world is full of jealousy —

The world preaches doing your own will —

I have called you to help Me —

Unless you make a fearless inventory you continue

to project your hatred on others.

I am a God of love, but I operate in structure.

The end is near when brothers will turn from

sisters and children turn on their parents —

you do not see that the loyalty is not there.

The devil tempts one with favors of acceptance

and recognition and you stoop to turn in

                                your best friend.

Oh children if I could reach into your hearts

and help you, but you are so willful

holding on to your own wills and you do not

surrender — you go through motions, many

who pray and you block the work I am doing

here because of jealousy. You give into

satan — some have made satan their master —

satan is the master of lies

he lies to you about yourself

he lies to you about others

he tempts you with the sin of pride

I reached for a race, striving to be holy, I

chose My followers to put aside jealousy

and ill-will, I asked for sons that would

live to be more perfected and serve your

                                Father.

I came to this earth 2000 years ago.

How have you grown in the lives of perfection.

My messengers are persecuted — easy pickens for

all you — you try them with your jealousy —

you ignore them with your pride — you

stick a rag in My mouth

You are pompous and arrogant and unloving

                                your focus is yourselves

When I lift My hand to ask for help — you say

What is in it for me and you do not

want to selflessly serve — you want

to get things for yourselves —

Would you accept any messenger I have

                                sent you?

I have sent you a holy Jesuit priest to deliver this

                                message nine years ago

Father Carter had a dream

Jesus speaks:     Oh selfish ones, when others served, all you kept

                                saying was

what is in this for myself.

I didn't send this for your honor and glory

so you could make your mark now

                                    on this earth —

I sent it for the children of Adam and Eve.

My Mother appeared in the garden —

the ones I called fought My messenger —

like dirt you tried to block the

message for your own gain —

The world is focused on the give and take theory —

if you give — you want to take, people

plot against Me and I want to help

the willful ones despite their imperfections.

                                But the willfulness, the paralyzing

grips of satan have gripped you

all to where you live this "eye for

an eye," "measure by measure," give

                                and take attitude.

Oh John the Baptist was one crying in the

desert to make ready the way of

                                the Lord —

I come with tender hands —

I chase you and you wanted

more and more and more —

The venom of satan is endless —

                                    the selfishness never runs

                                    out —

I watch while you murder babies —

                                    kill one another —

                                    block My mission —

Oh I have cried to you —

                                    I have called you and

the focus is yourselves "What is in it for me."

You aren't apostles at all —

I tell you of holiness —

You eat the energy of one I send and stop

your own work by answering the devil's

call, then when I write to you or

tell you — you lie with your hands

                                in the cookie jar

Satan has a grip on some to always stir up

trouble — to be selfish, prideful and

                                jealous

I bathed you like a baby at the breast of

a doting mother and you cried while

I help you close and wiped your tears —

Attachments to the same things — who could

rescue one who cries wolf while I God am

                                holding them

And is it you - I will send as a warrior?

Why you are the master of self-deception,

you are not true to yourself, you do the

work of satan to block My plan

You are like a man sitting in a pile of gold

and asking yourself where will the

                                money come from

You are your own enemies and the

leaders block My work for their

                                selfish ways

                            Time is nigh

You cannot get above jealousy, selfishness,

willfulness and help Me do My work

My work is for the world

Picture of the Sacred Heart of Jesus

A City on a Hill Shines to the World

February 23, 1994 5:30 a.m.

Jesus:  I am the light of the world. A city on a hill will shine to the world. You at the Center will be this city when you are filled to the brim with the love of Jesus. What power, what might, to have each person a personal spouse of Jesus Christ! This is the light to the darkened world. The love of Jesus radiates from the very being of those who love Him. What light when all together are lifted by His love abounding deep within their breasts!

I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. My life is the life inside that cannot be contained. It is bursting and budding forth. My life is the real life. To possess the life of Christ within your breast! Such power! I am the city set on a hill that will stand united and shine to this world. You at this Center will be this city. You will be the true Center that places the mark on this world.

The love of Christ, abounding deep within the breasts of all, will be the power and the might. Pray the Prayer for Union with Jesus. I will operate in the hearts of all there and minister to My sick world. I am the Heart of Jesus. I am on fire with love of each and every soul. When My love is found in all the hearts there, the light of God will shine to this world!

You are the city, set on a hill, that shines to the darkened world. I will light the world with the love of Jesus that shines in the hearts of those who are fed there. My light is so bright. My power is endless. You are the light to the dark world. You contain the mighty medicine to bring My sick ones to Me. You will bring so many back to Me and My intense love, burning so brightly for all!

I am the power. I am the might. He who abides in Me will have the light of life. I give Myself to you that you will live. You will radiate My presence from your very being. My light is the brightest light. I will live in the hearts of all who come to you for their feeding. Enkindle in them the love for My most Sacred Heart. It is on fire for love of you. It cannot be contained. It will live in all hearts who come to you to be fed.

You are the key to enkindle this burning love of Jesus in the hearts of so many. Many will know Jesus through your love of Me. Read these letters every day for I am truly speaking to you here. I love each child so dearly and want to have an intimate union with that child. Teach all about the burning love of Jesus. Read My messages with your heart on fire so you can tell all of My ardent love for them.

I long to be close to them. I am a person. I am God, on fire for love of My people. Bring all to the ardent love of Jesus. Mary is by My side constantly. Where I am, she is there. She wants all to be led to My ardent, longing love. Teach all about My love. Fill them so they are overflowing in their hearts. This is the mighty medicine. It is My letter of intense, ardent love for My people.

I am truly here, little ones. I am Jesus, Son of the Living God. I will live strongly in the hearts of all who come to you. You will be the key. Focus on your intense love of Me. Read My letters as a cookbook for intimacy with Me. My love waits for each person and I tell you here how to be close to Me. I am the Sacred Heart of Jesus on fire for love of you. I am longing for you to come and be with Me in silence. I will give you all you need.

I am the Alpha. I am the Omega. I am your all. I am God, one, true and magnificent, and I come to you with ardent love in Holy Communion and in the tabernacle. I am present, Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity. I am waiting. Our love affair waits and it depends on you. I am there and I am waiting. You keep us apart.

Tell them how I long for them and have all they need. The love of Christ will light their city. You will stand as the lighted city in darkness. My love will be that by which you light this dark world. Oh, such power, such might! The love of God will reign in the hearts of all you touch. You are My vessel to draw this world to the love of Jesus.

Read and study My letters and be taught about My ardent love. I am Jesus Christ and I am teaching you about My love on fire for all. Come and be powered by the hand of God. My love will rock the world off its rocker when it reigns in the hearts of those who come to you. I love you so! You are My beloved. I will use you to light My dark world. You will shine as candles in the darkest night and you will be the instruments I use to light their wicks. I am God and I love them so dearly!

This is My love for all. Power and might will shine forth on the land. I am the brightest light. Look into the light for the light. Look into the arms of Jesus. I will light this world through you. Alleluia. And the angels sang and the choirs of heaven were heard for the earth proclaimed the Love of Jesus. Alleluia

Jesus speaks:     A prophesy — nothing was happening

despite all the selfish people that "served"

                                My plan unfolded

You give a little, then you want a human pat

on the back "tit-for-tat". Is it in your

heart you serve your Lord and Master — you

have snarly attitudes and you want recognition

I died for My souls on the cross — you give so little

and think you give so much — then you are selfish.
