Given to Father Carter
on the Feast of St. Ignatius

~ July 31, 1994 ~

Words of Jesus to Members of
Shepherds of Christ Associates:

"My beloved priest-companion, I intend to use the priestly newsletter, Shepherds of Christ, and the movement, Shepherds of Christ Associates, in a powerful way for the renewal of My Church and the world.

"I will use the newsletter and the chapters of Shepherds of Christ Associates as a powerful instrument for spreading devotion to My Heart and My Mother's Heart.

"I am calling many to become members of Shepherds of Christ Associates. To all of them I will give great blessings. I will use them as instruments to help bring about the triumph of the Immaculate Heart and the reign of My Sacred Heart. I will give great graces to the members of Shepherds of Christ Associates. I will call them to be deeply united to My Heart and to Mary's Heart as I lead them ever closer to My Father in the Holy Spirit."

Messenger:         I unite to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.
I pray the prayers to the Holy Spirit daily
These were given to me from Our Lord
they are in four languages with the
                                Imprimatur.

                            I long for the Mass.
When I go there I unite so deeply with all
the saints and angels in heaven
and all the souls in purgatory.

I ask that the Blood of Jesus be spread on
all of us at the Mass, I consecrate
all of our hearts in as far as I am
able, I cast the devil far away and
ask for a special outpouring of
                                the Holy Spirit.

                            I come to offer sacrifice.
I am so mindful of the fact we should
                                offer sacrifice to our beloved
                                God.

I give myself as a sacrifice united to Jesus
in the Holy Spirit (the sacrifice of Calvary
is sacramentally made present on the altar).

I beg for the Reign of the Sacred Heart
                                and triumph of Mary's Immaculate
                                Heart.

I want peace in the world.
I cry for all those in the world who do not
believe Jesus is the Son of God.
I beg for grace and for light.

I know how so much depends on the
                                light He gives me.

                            I rely on Him.

I am a baby in His arms.

                            I rely on His Might

I do what I think He wants me to
do even when it is hard, and
then I give it to Him.

We have a wonderful priest who helps
                                us.

                            He prays for our needs.

                            Priest have special power.

I know he is praying on this earth
and Fr. Carter is interceding at the
                                throne of God.

Messenger:         When Fr. Carter celebrated Mass I
                                always saw a halo come
out from the host when he
                                raised it.

Now I am so connected to Father Carter in
                                heaven interceding for the
Reign of the Sacred Heart and
the Triumph of Mary's Immaculate heart.

I see the holy priest here below
who is so united in this praying
for the priests, the Church and
                                the world. Praying that Jesus
Christ will be the King and Center
of the hearts of the people of

July 31, 2002 message continues

Messenger:         Today I saw Jesus celebrating Mass
                                deep in my heart.

I saw His most precious Heart
like on the front of the
                                    Priestly Newsletter book II.

I love St. Ignatius so much, I
                                    just love him, deep in
my heart and I just kept
                                    telling him how very
                                    much I love him.

I have very deep love for St. Xavier,
                                    and St. Claude too.

It is so hard for me to describe what
is going on inside me at Mass
and yet Our Lord wants me
                                too.

I am so united to Fr. Carter from
all the Masses he celebrated and
I see the halo at the top of the
                                host.

I would see him raise the host,
                                    then a transparent golden
                                    tinted white host came
                                    up behind it.

                            Sometimes it was more,
but I watched it come up.

It came up slowly, very distinctly
as if someone was sliding it up.

I see Jesus on the cross and
                                Mary beneath the cross

Messenger:         I see Adam and Eve in the garden
                                by the tree.

                            Adam and Eve sinned.

We are to help make reparation for
                                our sins.

We tell God we are sorry for all
our sins and the sins of the
                                earth.

We beg for mercy and grace.

Messenger:         Think of this.
The priests and bishops and popes
                                in heaven interceding for the
souls of the earth to turn to Jesus
and make Him the King and
                                Center of their hearts.

I tell you as a messenger from God.
The priests need to be instructed to
pray for this that the people
of the earth make Jesus Christ
the King and Center of their hearts.

Oh my people—how is the Sacred Heart
of Jesus going to Reign in the
hearts of the people of the
                                earth when so many don't
                                even believe in Him and
                                use His Name, His precious
                                Name in vain.

                            God is Divine.
We can't use His name in the way
some people do today, it is
                                not honoring to Our Beloved
                                God.

Here is the Reading for the Feast of St. Ignatius.

1 Corinthians 10: 31 - 11: 1

Whatever you eat, then, or drink, and whatever else you do, do it all for the glory of God. Never be a cause of offence, either to Jews or to Greeks or to the Church of God, just as I try to accommodate everybody in everything, not looking for my own advantage, but for the advantage of everybody else, so that they may be saved.

Take me as your pattern, just as I take Christ for mine.

Messenger:         I like the song
                                Take Lord Receive.
                                Sing this song.

John 15: 1-5

The true vine

   I am the true vine,
and my Father is the vinedresser.
Every branch in me that bears no fruit
   he cuts away,
and every branch that does bear fruit
       he prunes
to make it bear even more.
   You are clean already,
   by means of the word
that I have spoken to you.
Remain in me, as I in you.
As a branch cannot bear fruit all by itself,
unless it remains part of the vine,
neither can you unless you remain in me.
   I am the vine,
   you are the branches.
Whoever remains in me, with me in him,
   bears fruit in plenty;
for cut off from me you can do nothing.

A Message for the Earth from Jesus
January 22, 1998

Jesus speaks:  I am the Good Shepherd, these are My prayers, the prayers I give to help renew the Church and the world, all prayer chapters are asked to include these prayers (found in the Shepherds of Christ Prayer Manual). As My Apostles and Shepherds I ask you to encourage all existing Chapters to try to encourage all existing prayer groups to pray the Shepherds of Christ prayers. Encourage all Churches to pray these prayers. It is most urgent that the people of this earth concur with the Father's wishes to begin Prayer Chapters. This is an urgent request from the Good Shepherd. The flock will become one when they have given their hearts to Jesus and Mary. Encourage all priests to pray the Shepherds of Christ prayers. Your world will be lighted with great light as the people of this earth pray these prayers.

My promise is this to you My beloved earth: When you give your heart to Me and spread the devotion to My Sacred Heart, I will write your name In My Heart. I promise to give the greatest graces when you pray these prayers for renewal of the Church and the world and take all who pray them deeply into My Heart. The prayers I give will bring about the reign of My Sacred Heart and the triumph of Mary's Immaculate Heart. I am Jesus Christ, this is My message of January 22, 1998, Please circulate this message to your world. I am the Good Shepherd, I know Mine and Mine know Me and they follow Me. Excerpt of The Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius, by Louis J. Puhl, S.J.

136. THE FOURTH DAY

        A MEDITATION ON TWO STANDARDS

The one of Christ, our supreme leader and lord,
the other of Lucifer, the deadly enemy of our
human nature

PRAYER.   The usual preparatory prayer.

window at a former Jesuit Seminary

137. FIRST PRELUDE.   This is the history. Here it will be that Christ calls and wants all beneath His standard, and Lucifer, on the other hand, wants all under his.

138. SECOND PRELUDE.   This is a mental representation of the place. It will be here to see a great plain, comprising the whole region about Jerusalem, where the sovereign Commander-in-Chief of all the good is Christ our Lord; and another plain about the region of Babylon, where the chief of the enemy is Lucifer.

139. THIRD PRELUDE.   This is to ask for what I desire. Here it will be to ask for a knowledge of the deceits of the rebel chief and help to guard myself against them; and also to ask for a knowledge of the true life exemplified in the sovereign and true Commander, and the grace to imitate Him.

FIRST PART

THE STANDARD OF SATAN

140. FIRST POINT.   Imagine you see the chief of all the enemy in the vast plain about Babylon, seated on a great throne of fire and smoke, his appearance inspiring horror and terror.

141. SECOND POINT.   Consider how he summons innumerable demons, and scatters them, some to one city and some to another, throughout the whole world, so that no province, no place, no state of life, no individual is overlooked.

142. THIRD POINT.   Consider the address he makes to them, how he goads them on to lay snares for men and bind them with chains. First they are to tempt them to covet riches (as Satan himself is accustomed to do in most cases) that they may the more easily attain the empty honors of this world, and then come to overweening pride.

The first step, then, will be riches, the second honor, the third pride. From these three steps the evil one leads to all other vices.

SECOND PART

THE STANDARD OF CHRIST

143.   In a similar way, we are to picture to ourselves the sovereign and true Commander, Christ our Lord.

144. FIRST POINT.   Consider Christ our Lord, standing in a lowly place in a great plain about the region of Jerusalem, His appearance beautiful and attractive.

145. SECOND POINT.   Consider how the Lord of all the world chooses so many persons, apostles, disciples, etc., and sends them throughout the whole world to spread His sacred doctrine among all men, no matter what their state or condition.

146. THIRD POINT.   . . .

Excerpt from Newsletter 1999 Issue 4

The Christian and the World

God calls us to share in His love for His creation. He calls us to a participation in His creative and redemptive work. Our zeal and enthusiasm for accepting this invitation to assist in the world’s evolving movement toward God in Christ obviously depends upon our love for Christ. If our love for Him is weak or mediocre, we will have little zeal to bear with the hardships which are inevitable if one is to help in the process of more deeply imprinting the name of Jesus upon the universe. The more we realize what it means to be loved by Christ, the stronger the bond of love between Christ and us, the more we will contribute to the restoration of all things in Christ. We must constantly open our hearts to the warmth of the Spirit so that the Spirit’s action may increasingly create within us an enthusiasm for Christ similar to that which He inspired in St. Paul: "For I am certain of this: neither death nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nothing already in existence and nothing still to come, nor any power, nor the heights nor the depths, nor any created thing whatever, will be able to come between us and the love of God, known to us in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Rom 8:38-39)

Our zeal for deepening the beauty of the world’s Christ-like design also depends on our love for our brothers and sisters in the human family. It takes a constant, a vibrant, a long-suffering love for others, to contribute properly to the ongoing Christianization of the world order. Again, St. Paul is an example for us: Life to me, of course, is Christ, but then death would be a positive gain. On the other hand again, if to be alive in the body gives me an opportunity for fruitful work, I do not know which I should choose. I am caught in this dilemma: I want to be gone and to be with Christ, and this is by far the stronger desire--and yet for your sake to stay alive in this body is a more urgent need. (Ph 1:21-24)

We should have a deeper love for God’s world than the non-believer. All that is good and true and beautiful, all that we reach out for in hope, all the possibilities for the world’s true progress, all the worthwhile and enthusiastic dreams for a better world--yes, all this we should yearn for more deeply than the non-believer. Why? Because we know that the world belongs to Christ. We know that the human heart’s pursuit of the true, the good, and the beautiful is ultimately a pursuit of Christ. We know that any authentic step forward in the world’s process of becoming marks a deepening of the process whereby the human family and the entire world order are united more to the center and crown of the universe, Christ Himself. St. Paul speaks of this centricity of Christ:

He is the image of the unseen God,
the first-born of all creation,
for in him were created all things
in heaven and on earth:
everything visible
    and everything invisible,
thrones, ruling forces,
sovereignties, powers--
all things were created through him
    and for him.
He exists before all things
and in him all things hold together,
and he is the Head of the Body,
that is, the Church.
(Col 1:15-18)

Here is a quote from one of Fr. Carter's
                                Newsletters.

Excerpt from Newsletter 1999 Issue 3

A Christian accomplishes his or her unique mission in proportion to one's realization of Christ's tremendous, unique love for him or her, and in proportion to the person's surrender in love to Jesus. The more the person surrenders to Jesus, the more Jesus lives through that person's uniqueness. Let us always strive to live according to the words of St. Paul: I have been crucified with Christ and yet I am alive; yet it is no longer I, but Christ living in me. The life that I am now living, subject to the limitation of human nature, I am living in faith, faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave himself for me. {Ga 2:19-20}

John 10: 11-15

I am the good shepherd:
the good shepherd lays down his life
    for his sheep.
The hired man,
since he is not the shepherd
and the sheep do not belong to him,
abandons the sheep
as soon as he sees a wolf coming,
    and runs away,
and then the wolf attacks
    and scatters the sheep;
he runs away
because he is only a hired man
and has no concern for the sheep.
I am the good shepherd;
I know my own
and my own know me,
just as the Father knows me
and I know the Father;
and I lay down my life for my sheep.

We can ask ourselves these questions given to us by St. Ignatius Loyola: “What have I done for Christ? What am I doing for Christ? What ought I do for Christ?”

        We desperately need funds.
         Please pray for this.
