Cling to Me

May 13, 1993

Jesus speaks:  My dear child, if you stay close to Me, then I live in you and you live in Me. I am He Who created you and I love you with such an intensity that you will never know. My words are your truth. You must abide in My heart in all things. There is no room for doubt. My ways are steadfast, direct, and without error.

You must stay rooted in Me to ward off the power of the evil one. His grip is paralyzing and crippling. His power is stronger every day.

When you live in Me, I am in your heart and he has no power over Me. I am your God. I am your true lover. I want to protect you. I want to guard you from this force. Stay rooted firmly in Me and he will have no power.

I am He Who comforts you. My hand is upon you. Hold tight to Me, My child. My eyes are fixed right on you. You are My most precious child. I love you as no other can. My arms are about you. My tenderness surrounds you. My love is in your heart. You go not alone. I walk with you.

I share every aspect of your life with you. Cling to Me, feel My presence. It is warm and secure within your chest. There is no room for fear, for I cast out fear and bring you comfort and joy.

21.                     SPIRITUAL EXERCISES

Which have as their purpose the conquest of self
and the regulation of one's life in such a way that
no decision is made under the influence of any
    inordinate attachment

I want to talk about the Spiritual Exercises
of St. Ignatius.

We are to see this retreat as a time to be alone
with God. To be in silence, to be only with Him,
to see His plan for us in helping to bring about
what He wants to do in us as we live out our
vocation. Here it is to live the Shepherds of
Christ way of life.

Our life is lived every moment in union
with our Divine God. We center our day daily
around the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. We,
who are servants, handmaids and apostles attend
daily Mass when able and center our day around
that Mass, united to all the Masses going on around
the world all day, being special intercessors
praying for the priests, the Church and the world.

We spend, as servants, handmaids and apostles,
at least one hour daily before the Blessed Sacrament
in adoration as far as we are able and we try to stop
on the hour and pray, especially united for the needs
of the Movement and our needs.

We pray nightly (or at least daily) the Shepherds of
Christ Prayers and the rosary, along with the Holy
Spirit Novena. Most of us try to pray daily at 6:20
united at all the centers and the sub-centers
for the priests, the Church, and the world, for healing
for ourselves, our family and all mentioned above
and for special grace for us.

Why do we make this particular retreat in
China, Indiana? When retreats are given the
silence will begin on the 10th of that month at
night with the individual reading the discernment of
spirit sections from St. Ignatius Spiritual Exercises
and the beginning parts about the retreat.
The first meditation will be given on the 10th.

The Spiritual Exercises will be conducted with
    this purpose in mind.

313. RULES FOR DISCERNMENT OF SPIRITS
I

Rules for understanding to some extent the different movements produced in the soul and for recognizing those that are good to admit them, and those that are bad, to reject them. These rules are more suited to the first week

314.  I.  In the case of those who go from one mortal sin to another, the enemy is ordinarily accustomed to propose apparent pleasures. He fills their imagination with sensual delights and gratifications, the more readily to keep them in their vices and increase the number of their sins.

With such persons the good spirit uses a method which is the reverse of the above. Making use of the light of reason, he will rouse the sting of conscience and fill them with remorse.

315.  2.  In the case of those who go on earnestly striving to cleanse their souls from sin and who seek to rise in the service of God our Lord to greater perfection, the method pursued is the opposite of that mentioned in the first rule.

Then it is characteristic of the evil spirit to harass with anxiety, to afflict with sadness, to raise obstacles backed by fallacious reasonings that disturb the soul. Thus he seeks to prevent the soul from advancing.

It is characteristic of the good spirit, however, to give courage and strength, consolations, tears, inspirations, and peace. This He does by making all easy, by removing all obstacles so that the soul goes forward in doing good.

316.  3.  SPIRITUAL CONSOLATION.  I call it consolation when an interior movement is aroused in the soul, by which it is inflamed with love of its Creator and Lord, and as a consequence, can love no creature on the face of the earth for its own sake, but only in the Creator of them all. It is likewise consolation when one sheds tears that move to the love of God, whether it be because of sorrow for sins, or because of the sufferings of Christ our Lord, or for any other reason that is immediately directed to the praise and service of God. Finally, I call consolation every increase of faith, hope, and love, and all interior joy that invites and attracts to what is heavenly and to the salvation of one's soul by filling it with peace and quiet in its Creator and Lord.

317.  4.  SPIRITUAL DESOLATION.  I call desolation what is entirely the opposite of what is described in the third rule, as darkness of soul, turmoil of spirit, inclination to what is low and earthly, restlessness rising from many disturbances and temptations which lead to want of faith, want of hope, want of love. The soul is wholly slothful, tepid, sad, and separated, as it were, from its Creator and Lord. For just as consolation is the opposite of desolation, so the thoughts that spring from consolation are the opposite of those that spring from desolation.

318.  5.  In time of desolation we should never make any change, but remain firm and constant in the resolution and decision which guided us the day before the desolation, or in the decision to which we adhered in the preceding consolation. For just as in consolation the good spirit guides and counsels us, so in desolation the evil spirit guides and counsels. Following his counsels we can never find the way to a right decision.

319.  6.  Though in desolation we must never change our former resolutions, it will be very advantageous to intensify our activity against the desolation. We can insist more upon prayer, upon meditation, and on much examination of ourselves. We can make an effort in a suitable way to do some penance.

320.  7.  When one is in desolation, he should be mindful that God has left him to his natural powers to resist the different agitations and temptations of the enemy in order to try him. He can resist with the help of God, which always remains, though he may not clearly perceive it. For though God has taken from him the abundance of fervor and overflowing love and the intensity of His favors, nevertheless, he has sufficient grace for eternal salvation.

321.  8.  When one is in desolation, he should strive to persevere in patience. This reacts against the vexations that have overtaken him. Let him consider, too, that consolation will soon return, and in the meantime, he must diligently use the means against desolation which have been given in the sixth rule.

322.  9.  The principal reasons why we suffer from desolation are three:

The first is because we have been tepid and slothful or negligent in our exercises of piety, and so through our own fault spiritual consolation has been taken away from us.

The second reason is because God wishes to try us, to see how much we are worth, and how much we will advance in His service and praise when left without the generous reward of consolations and signal favors.

The third reason is because God wishes to give us a true knowledge and understanding of ourselves, so that we may have an intimate perception of the fact that it is not within our power to acquire and attain great devotion, intense love, tears, or any other spiritual consolation; but that all this is the gift and grace of God our Lord. God does not wish us to build on the property of another, to rise up in spirit in a certain pride and vainglory and attribute to ourselves the devotion and other effects of spiritual consolation.

323.  10.  When one enjoys consolation, let him consider how he will conduct himself during the time of ensuing desolation, and store up a supply of strength as defense against that day.

324.  11.  He who enjoys consolation should take care to humble himself and lower himself as much as possible. Let him recall how little he is able to do in time of desolation, when he is left without such grace or consolation.

On the other hand, one who suffers desolation should remember that by making use of the sufficient grace offered him, he can do much to withstand all his enemies. Let him find his strength in his Creator and Lord.

325.  12.  The enemy conducts himself as a woman. He is a weakling before a show of strength, and a tyrant if he has his will. It is characteristic of a woman in a quarrel with a man to lose courage and take to flight if the man shows that he is determined and fearless. However, if the man loses courage and begins to flee, the anger, vindictiveness, and rage of the woman surge up and know no bounds. In the same way, the enemy becomes weak, loses courage, and turns to flight with his seductions as soon as one leading a spiritual life faces his temptations boldly, and does exactly the opposite of what he suggests. However, if one begins to be afraid and to lose courage in temptations, no wild animal on earth can be more fierce than the enemy of our human nature. He will carry out his perverse intentions with consummate malice.

326.  13.  Our enemy may also be compared in his manner of acting to a false lover. He seeks to remain hidden and does not want to be discovered. If such a lover speaks with evil intention to the daughter of a good father, or to the wife of a good husband, and seeks to seduce them, he wants his words and solicitations kept secret. He is greatly displeased if his evil suggestions and depraved intentions are revealed by the daughter to her father, or by the wife to her husband. Then he readily sees he will not succeed in what he has begun. In the same way, when the enemy of our human nature tempts a just soul with his wiles and seductions, he earnestly desires that they be received secretly and kept secret. But if one manifests them to a confessor, or to some other spiritual person who understands his deceits and malicious designs, the evil one is very much vexed. For he knows that he cannot succeed in his evil undertaking, once his evident deceits have been revealed.

327.  14.  The conduct of our enemy may also be compared to the tactics of a leader intent upon seizing and plundering a position he desires. A commander and leader of an army will encamp, explore the fortifications and defenses of the stronghold, and attack at the weakest point. In the same way, the enemy of our human nature investigates from every side all our virtues, theological, cardinal, and moral. Where he finds the defenses of eternal salvation weakest and most deficient, there he attacks and tries to take us by storm.

                        Sing: Take Lord Receive

Song: Prayer for Union with Jesus

Come to me, Lord, and possess my soul. Come into my heart and permeate my soul. Help me to sit in silence with You and let You work in my heart.

Come to me, Lord, and possess my soul. Come into my heart and permeate my soul. Help me to sit in silence with You and let You work in my heart. (refrain)

I am Yours to possess. I am Yours to use. I want to be selfless and only exist in You. Help me to spoon out all that is me and be an empty vessel ready to be filled by You. Help me to die to myself and live only for You. Use me as You will. Let me never draw my attention back to myself. I only want to operate as You do, dwelling within me.

Come to me, Lord, and possess my soul. Come into my heart and permeate my soul. Help me to sit in silence with You and let You work in my heart. (refrain)

I am Yours, Lord. I want to have my life in You. I want to do the will of the Father. Give me the strength to put aside the world and let You operate my very being. Help me to act as You desire. Strengthen me against the distractions of the devil to take me from Your work.

Come to me, Lord, and possess my soul. Come into my heart and permeate my soul. Help me to sit in silence with You and let You work in my heart. (refrain)

When I worry, I have taken my focus off of You and placed it on myself. Help me not to give in to the promptings of others to change what in my heart You are making very clear to me. I worship You, I adore You and I love You. Come and dwell in me now.

Come to me, Lord, and possess my soul. Come into my heart and permeate my soul. Help me to sit in silence with You and let You work in my heart. (refrain)

Come to me, Lord, and possess my soul. Come into my heart and permeate my soul. Help me to sit in silence with You and let You work in my heart. (refrain)

July 9, 1996

This rosary was led by Fr. Carter on Tuesday, July the 9, 1996 during the Shepherds of Christ Associates Meeting at Tom Arlinghaus's farm. The meditations and messages were given to Rita Ring during the rosary. All meditations have been discerned by Fr. Edward J. Carter S.J.

The Sorrowful Mysteries

The Agony in the Garden

  1. Jesus speaks: Put aside all of the thoughts in your heart that do not pertain to Me. You are distracted by many things in your hearts. It is in this rosary that I will give you abundant grace, and you will grow more and more in My love.
  2. We see Jesus as He kneels in the garden. Jesus speaks: You will be tested and tried, My beloved one. You will grow from these trials for I am giving to you great grace. You do not know of the sufferings that you will experience, but I am with you at every moment. You must surrender and come to My Heart for it is there that you will find refuge from the darkest night. I will never leave you. I am Jesus. I am with you at every moment. Do you feel My presence within your heart? Come to Me and know My precious love for you.
  3. I see Jesus in the garden. How many times we have suffered in our lives, felt the suffering so deep within our hearts? Do we know from this suffering a little of the immense pain that Jesus suffered in the garden? Think of Jesus in the garden. He was in such anguish that He sweat blood. How little are these trials that He gives to us! We carry our cross on our backs with glum faces and feel upset in our hearts. Jesus showed us the way. He showed us His suffering. He asked us to meditate on His suffering that we will know more His great love for us.
  4. I look back, Jesus, to the messages in the Second Blue Book - so many messages on surrender and letting go. So long ago, two and a half years ago, but today I am learning to surrender, surrender, surrender. I thought, then, that I knew the meaning of the word "surrender", but I see today I know so little of the meaning of this word. I know only by Your grace that I will surrender and give myself to You.
  5. We see Jesus as He kneels in the garden of Gethsemane, and we know how He surrendered to the will of the Father. It is in living according to the will of the Father that we will have peace and joy in our lives. Jesus shows us the way. If we meditate on the mysteries of this rosary, His life will live in our lives.
  6. I opened the Second Blue Book, today, to the message that says, "Jesus wants both feet off the ground." At the time I received this message, January 18th 1994, I thought I knew what it was to surrender for I had surrendered so many things already. But I learn more and more each day how I need to surrender, and it is only through Him that I will surrender. I see Jesus in the garden, His face covered with a bloody sweat, and I know that He surrendered to the will of the Father.
  7. Why are we here? Why are we gathered here to pray this rosary? What is God asking of each of us? God is asking us to give ourselves to help in the salvation of souls. For nine months our Blessed Lady called out to me, and told me of her children that were going to hell. I know, as if deeply engraved in my heart, the reality of souls going to hell this day. It is this pain that I feel in my heart that helps me to go on and to help, as much as I can, with the work of saving souls.
  8. I see Jesus in the garden, and He looks all alone. The Apostles are asleep, and His face is covered with blood. I see Him there with agony in His face and tension in His body, and within His Heart He knows all of His precious souls that will neglect Him and forget Him despite His suffering. Jesus speaks: Do you know what it is, My beloved ones, to love, to love, and to be ignored?
  9. Over and over again, I experienced the suffering of Jesus, before the tabernacle, for the souls that neglect Him and treat Him with such indifference. He called out, "Tell them! Tell them how I am longing and waiting for them to come to Me!" It is such agony to know that Jesus loves His precious souls so much, and He is ignored - Jesus, the Heart of burning love.
  10. This is the message that He has delivered over and over again - "I am alive! I am alive! I am alive, and I am longing and thirsting for My precious souls to come and to tell Me of their love." He calls out, "Bring Me souls! Bring Me souls!" It is in our prayers and sacrifices, it is in proceeding steadfastly ahead in the struggles and all the trials, that we help in the work of redemption. It is so important that we identify, in our lives, with Him, that we give our hearts to Jesus and Mary and that our every act be united to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, that grace might be poured out on this darkened world for the salvation of souls. This is why He has called us here. This is why our heavenly Mother appeared over and over again. This is why He sweat blood in the garden of Gethsemane. He would have suffered more because He loves so much. His greatest agony was the agony that He suffered for the souls that would neglect Him and treat Him with indifference and then would be lost forever to the fires of hell.

The Scourging at the Pillar

  1. And so we wake and we go through the day, and we go to bed each night, and we go through many trials and sufferings, and it seems, many times, that we would like to quit. Look at Jesus. See Him, His hands tied to the pillar. See Him as He stands there, and the men come with their sharp instruments to beat Him.
  2. Song: I have called you by name....
  3. Why would God come and talk to us? This situation is so urgent. This world has turned to such sin. Mary appeared at Fatima, and she told men that they must stop offending God. She gave them a peace plan. They ignored our heavenly Mother, and there was World War II. See Jesus at the pillar. Mary wants us to meditate on the mysteries of the rosary so that His life will live in our lives. Today the world is in such a sorry state. He has called us as His apostles to go into the world so that He will live in us and minister to His beloved souls through us. Who are we that God loves us so much that He lives in us and that His life flows through us?
  4. Within our soul is the craving for God's love - the craving to love and to be loved, yet we feel empty many times. We are wanting for love. If we meditate on the mysteries of the rosary, if we see the blood covered face of Jesus and the torn flesh of His body, how can we not realize how much He loves us?
  5. The world is very sick. The Church and the world are in need of renewal.
  6. Jesus has called us in the Shepherds of Christ Movement to go into the world and to carry the messages of His love.
  7. The trial that you are suffering today may be very difficult, but if we look at the torn body of Jesus, it will seem so small.
  8. How Jesus loves each one of us, that He came into this world a helpless baby, that He gave Himself as a sacrifice for our sins!
  9. Look at the world today and the sins of the flesh. Look at the world in all of its vileness. How brazen are all those who parade such filth on the screen for children to learn at such an early age. Look at what we see on our TV screens and at the movie theaters, and then look at the body of Jesus covered with wounds.
  10. Mary said at Fatima that we must stop offending God. This is why Jesus and Mary are giving us these messages this day. This situation is very urgent. There are many souls that are going into hell. It may be very hard, but as we press forward millions and millions of souls will be saved through this movement. There are many devils that are battling us as we proceed, but how can we say "no" to Jesus and Mary?

The Crowning with Thorns

  1. Look at the haughty hearts of so many today. Our own hearts, our hearts that are so fixed in getting ahead and being first. Look at the pride and the control in the minds of men, and then look at the head of Jesus as they pound into His head the sharp thorns that pierced His head and made Him bleed.
  2. How we whine and we complain about so many little trials that we must suffer. Did Jesus ever have a headache? Look at the wounded head of our Savior.
  3. Mary is calling us to prayer and sacrifice.
  4. The bell tolls and at every second, every act that we perform, when offered as a sacrifice to the Father, in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, becomes a heroic deed in helping in the work of redemption.
  5. God came and gave Himself. He was spit on. He was crowned with thorns. He was mocked. He was kicked. He was whipped, and they tore His flesh. This is the love that He has for us. He wants each and every soul in heaven with Him. He is calling us to give of ourselves to help in the work of redemption.
  6. Jesus appears with a crown of thorns around His Heart - His precious Heart, pierced by the indifference and the hatred of the souls that He loves. Let us comfort His Heart with our acts of love, and let us vow to go into this world and to fight, despite all the struggle and all the obstacles that Satan has created, to go into this world and to carry the greatest news that there is to the souls that are starving, that are hungry, and that are in pain - the news that our beloved Savior loves us.
  7. Song: Only this I want, but to know the Lord...
  8. The more we are united to Jesus, the more we help souls get to heaven, and someday we will receive a crown of glory and be with Him in such celestial bliss for all eternity.
  9. Jesus speaks: My beloved ones, I have called you to this Farm to hear this message. I long for My precious souls to come to Me. Will you bring these souls to Me? Will you help through your trials and your sufferings to continue to bring souls to Me? I am so thirsty for souls, My precious souls that I love so much.
  10. And they spit on Jesus, and they mocked Him. They hurled hateful remarks at the Almighty God, and He was silent. He withstood all of this treatment for within His Heart was divine love, His Heart on fire for His precious souls.

The Carrying of the Cross

  1. He walked with a heavy cross on His back, and within His Heart was burning love for His precious souls.
  2. If Jesus was here at this moment, if we saw Him humped over with the cross on His back, if we saw the blood as it poured down from His crowned head, if we saw His blood covered face and the suffering in His face, would we believe then that He loves us?
  3. It is in realizing His immense love for us that we will carry this love to others. You must read all the messages that He has given to us. With our hearts on fire, receiving the love letters from our beloved one to us, do we hear Jesus say over and over again, "I love you. I love you. I love you."? Jesus will fill us with His love, and when we are filled with this love we will carry this love to others.
  4. The souls, today, are hungry. They need to be fed with the love of God. They are starving. Where do the children go that have not even been told about the love of God? Look at Jesus with His cross on His back. This is the love that He has for each soul. It is up to us to carry this message to the world, for the world is suffering and in need of this message. Vile deeds will continue until the message of His love is carried out to the hurting souls.
  5. Mary walked by her beloved Son knowing in her heart that He was the Almighty God. Think of the heart of Mary and how she suffered such anguish to watch her beloved Jesus.
  6. Day after day after day, Mary appeared for 14 months and cried out that we must change our ways, that we must help the children, that we must spread the rosary and the consecration to the children. The message was the same - you are offending God, and souls are going into hell.
  7. Mary looked into the face of her beloved Son. Can you imagine what she saw when she looked into His eyes, His beautiful eyes surrounded by blood and wounds? Can you imagine the heart of Mary as she looks into the face of her Son, knowing of all of the souls that would be lost despite His suffering?
  8. Jesus looked into the face of Mary, and He was comforted by the sight of His Mother, His Mother that He loved so much. But He saw her suffering, and His Heart was in such pain and sorrow to see His Mother suffer.
  9. Mary calls out today for the little lost children, the children that she loves so much, her children, and she asks us to be a mother to these children. She asks us to pray and to sacrifice. She asks us to teach the children about the rosary and to teach the children about the love of Jesus and the love of their Mother.
  10. Can we share the cross of Christ with Jesus? Can we comfort His aching Heart by bringing to Him His precious souls? Many souls will be lost if we give into the temptation to give up. It will become difficult and hard. Can we look into the eyes of Jesus as Mary looked into the eyes of Jesus, and say to Jesus covered with blood, crowned with thorns, cross on His back, "Jesus this is too hard."?

The Crucifixion and Death of Jesus

  1. To His death on the cross, He gave Himself. He always did the Father's will. He's asking us, today, to help in the act of redemption, to help the souls that are suffering, to sacrifice, to offer every act that we do as a sacrifice to help save souls.
  2. I see the body of Jesus humped over, withered, so frail, and so weak. This is the Almighty God - all powerful and almighty. It is God. Jesus speaks: I am the Almighty God. Response: We see Jesus in this state hanging from the cross. At any moment, He could have come down from the cross, but Jesus gave Himself that we would be saved. He lives in us this day. He acts in us this day. As we become one in Him, He operates through us this day. He loves through us this day. He gives to others through us this day. He shows us that the road is a road that is filled with suffering and trials, but He shows us the resurrection.
  3. Do we know what it is to be wrapped with the divine embrace of the Almighty God - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit?
  4. For all eternity we will be wrapped by this embrace. We will be completely satisfied, and our hearts will be at rest. He asks us, this day, to serve Him, to love Him, to give ourselves to Him. He shows us how He loves us. He gave Himself as a sacrifice on the cross for us.
  5. Song: O burning Heart, O love divine...
  6. The Almighty God loves us so much that He came into this world a little baby, and He gave Himself as a sacrifice on the cross. Jesus remains with us this day in His divinity and humanity, truly present in the Holy Eucharist, and our eyes behold the consecrated Host.
  7. Song: Come unto Me all who weary...
  8. Jesus no longer walks the earth, but He lives in this world today. He lives in our hearts. He is asking us to be one with Him that He can operate through us and touch the souls of His beloved ones today.
  9. We see Mary hold the little child in her arms, and we see Mary hold the lifeless body of Jesus in her arms under the cross. Jesus complied to the will of His Father. He is asking us this day to do the Father's will, to help in His plan, to help save souls. We do not realize how important all of our actions are in this plan of the Father to help save souls.
Jesus gave Himself on the cross, and He asks us to give ourselves to Him as a sacrifice. When we give ourselves in love to Jesus, we will unite in such love with the Almighty God. Message: We cannot say "no" to Jesus, that this is too hard. For all eternity many souls will be lost. What we do is so important. I hear Jesus call out, "Bring Me souls! Bring Me souls!" God is asking us to carry our cross as He carried His cross, for what we do is so important to His precious souls.

Picture of the Sacred Heart of JesusYou Love Always

March 18, 1994 7:15 a.m.
At All Saints, After Communion

R. Dear Jesus, how holy is my soul? I do not see it as you desire. Do I judge my brothers? Do I compare myself to them and tell myself that I am right and they are wrong? Why do I judge at all? My job is to love, to love You with all my heart. My job is to preach Your gospel, to emit Your love from my very being!

When I am caught up in being wronged by my brother, how can Your love radiate to anyone? I am a clogged vessel and the love You want to give to those around me is trapped behind my anger.

Oh Lord, open my heart to Your ways. How easy for Satan to talk in my head and tell me how I should be feeling when I have a job to do. This job is more serious than any worldly job. This job is to spread Your love to a world that is hurting. When I am a clogged vessel, all those around me suffer from the loss of love they would receive if my heart were open and love were flowing out to them.

Oh, how Satan is so crafty as to steal our hearts away and fill them with such impurities, thoughts of anger at our brothers! How easily I comply. This is the self in me. Have I been wronged? Have I been threatened? Will someone think badly of me? Lord, help me to be selfless, to live only for love of You and to know You truly love me, to want not to answer any accusations of others, to remain silent when attacked unless You prompt me to speak.

Control my tongue as the doorway from my heart. Control my heart. Keep it full of Your love and free of all impurities. I want a heart that is free of hate and anger. I have a job to do, Lord, and it is to spread Your love. This job is a top priority. I receive all my love and support from You, Lord. Is that not enough or am I not thinking of how immense is the love of God?

Jesus: Come to Me, all who are weary and heavily burdened and I give you rest. I fill you with such love. I am God. I am love. Why focus on your suffering brothers? Because they are suffering from the evil of this world. You need not suffer if you turn to Me. I have all you need. I never abandon you or leave you. I am by your side. I, Jesus, walk with you where you go, and with such love. The love of God is all-encompassing. When I am by your side, why do you fret because of your ailing brothers? Pray for them. Some are in total darkness. How will My light shine from you if you are clogged with any anger or hatred? You must remain fixed only in love--love of God, love of one another!

Put your anger aside and look to My suffering face. I loved you all to My death. I did not count the cost. I did not number your sins. I loved you. I forgave you. I loved you unconditionally. I gave My all for you. Can you not do this for your brothers? I suffered for the sins of men and I was silent. I speak of My love. I do not speak of your sins. Who of you are sinless? If you expect Me to forgive you, can you not forgive your brothers when they have wronged you?

I am the light that shines through you to the dark world. I want to shine from your hearts. To have the least taint of hate and anger blocks My light from your souls. Clean out your hearts every minute. Let the hate and anger go! Do not let it fester and grow in your hearts. Keep your hearts pure only in the love of God. When your brother wrongs you, forgive him instantly. Do not let Satan talk in your head. Do not let self come to the front lines. Be ready to withstand the attack. Remain selfless and unattached.

I live in you and you live in Me. You are immersed in a vat of My love. My might shines from your being. Your brothers are suffering. Love them, watch them in their suffering and see them as My precious ones in need of My love. They are hurting so. Will you not tend to their bleeding wounds? Or will you scoff at them and go on your way?

This world is suffering. The only cure is the love of God. You have the opportunity to spread My love or act like the world. How can I love My sick ones if you act as they do? Did I argue on the way to Calvary? Did I answer their accusations and say, "Oh, I didn't do that?" I was silent! Can you not remain silent when you are accused? Can you not turn to Me and pick up your cross and see My suffering face?

I suffer for how they are hurting you. But to strike back in anger is not the way of love. This is not My way. My way is to love. I loved those who whipped Me. I loved those who crowned My head with thorns. I loved those who spit at Me and yelled obscenities at Me. I loved you all in all your sins! I loved you to My death! I showed you the way to love. I showed you the way to forgive. I showed you the way.

Why do you look to the ways of the suffering? If they scoff at and persecute you and yell any slander against you, focus on the love of your Father in heaven Who gave His only Son for love of you! The way of God is the way of love. Any taint of anger, of hatred, of getting even, of being wronged and making yourself right, is the way of the evil one.

My ways are steadfast and direct. I operate from love. Stay rooted firmly in the love of God. See Me suffering, beaten, bloodied, crowned, slapped, kicked, slandered--and every vile thing yelled at Me. See Me, see Me and then see Me dying on the cross in sweet surrender, arms outstretched, hanging by nails, head hanging--all out of great and ardent love for you!

I showed you how to love. Can you not forgive your suffering brothers? Can you not love? I loved to My death. Can you not let go of such little things coming from them who are hurting? You are My soldiers in this cold war. Your weapons are your hearts filled with the ardent, on-fire love of Jesus. Your hearts are powerful. God has all the power. Love finds the way. The only way to warm a cold heart is through the warmth of love, true love, unconditional love, that I give to you. Love always. I loved you to My death. Will you love My hurting ones for Me? Can I use you to light the dark world? I call this day. Will you answer?

The way to Me is the Way of the Cross. Do you see your life as the way to Me? Each day is a day on the way to the end which is heaven, hell or purgatory. Do you see yourself as making it for this life or for everlasting life? Oh, if only children were taught to see their lives in their entirety, from beginning to end, only to go to another place. If only children were taught to see that this is a "layover", not the end in itself!

Look at your life. You are on your way to somewhere else. This is a journey to get you to another place. If you are traveling, you do not camp out on the train, or try to make your vehicle an end in itself. You are in transit to another life. You have not arrived. You have not come to your destiny.

I am the Way. I am the Truth. I am the Life. To have eternal life you must model yourself after the Master. I loved you to My death. I love you this much this day. I gave My life for you. Do you not believe that to turn to Me is to give you all you need?

Follow Me. I show you the Way. You need to be led to the kingdom that waits for you. If you follow other leaders, they take you from the correct way. Only one way leads to My kingdom. It is the way I showed you. It is the way I show you this day. Would you go to a tour guide who knows the way or to one who is guessing?

Your brothers are following paths that lead to destruction. I show you the way to the kingdom of heaven. Why would you follow an amateur who knows not the way? You pay the price for your foolishness. My way is the Way of the Cross. If you try to find another way more to your liking, you get off course. The way to My kingdom is led by Me. I am with you this day in the Eucharist and in the tabernacle. Will you come and sit with Me in silence and listen when I give you your directions or will you go to a bad guide and try to find a short cut?

There is no short cut to My kingdom. My way is the only way. Pick up your cross and follow Me. Do not try to put your crosses down. Accept what I send you as coming from Him Who loves you. It is in this acceptance that you grow in your relationship with Me. My hand is in everything you experience.

See Me clothed in a white tunic, My love radiating from My being. See My hand outstretched as I walk before you and say, "Sweet one, this is the way to My kingdom. I bring you such love along the way. You will suffer, but My love will see you through. Come and follow as I lead. I walk before you backwards, right in front of you. Do you not see Me? Keep your eyes on Me, sweet one. I love you so. I will never lead you off the right road. I lead you with such love and peace. You will not know all My love here, sweet one, but when we get to My kingdom, what a reward for following Me! My house has many mansions. I have a place prepared just for you. I ardently love you. I am your Jesus, Son of the Living God. I come, you follow. We will live in My kingdom soon."

9:45 a.m.

Jesus: Unless a grain of wheat dies, it does not produce fruit. Such dying must be cultivated by obedience and your covenant with God, rooted in love and forgiveness. Die to yourself and live in My love, child. Child, I love you. Do you know now?

R. Jesus, I believe. Jesus, I believe. Jesus, I believe. I believe in you.

You know that what I tell you is truth. Do not even think. I will bring them to you. You remain set in your place. Pray all day. Be busy about My work. I need you to do My work for Me.
