December 29 - After Mass
R. Your soul is lifted to such heights in your hot air balloon! I am lifted, my spirit. The body is left behind on the earth.
Jesus speaks: Do not be concerned with what you are to wear and put on. I care about your soul. All things of the body wither and fade. The body is only the means by which you move about the earth. Your matter dies and decays. Your spirit moves on. All you truly are never dies.
R. I transport this bag of bones to realms I never dreamed possible and fly the skies. My spirit rises. My body remains fixed in its tracks. This is similar to death: the body stays behind. My soul never truly dies. It goes on to another place.
Jesus speaks: Ready yourself, My child, for the Kingdom of God is at hand and you will see sights you never dreamed of. The love of the Lord will be made clear and you will be engulfed in such peace.
What is heaven? "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, the glories that await him who serves the Lord." Ready yourself with your lamp for this journey. The eyes are the lights to the soul. What enters in through the eyes is sacred. Stay fixed on the things of God. Pant for His glory. Never look away. If you behold Him and His Kingdom, you will behold eternal life. I am one crying in the desert. Make straight the way of the Lord.
R. Impart to me only deeds that are of God. Wash away my sins and clean me of all that is not of You, for I am weak and humble in heart and You are God, all might and full of all power. Impart some of Your power to my soul to help me clean away the debris there. I am but a feeble human and it is only in You that I reach such heights. Send Your power and Your light into my soul and give me what I need, Lord. You know my state far better than I and You have all the power to change me into that which You want. I surrender with a happy heart to the God Who made me and loves me far more than any mortal or far more than I could love or know myself.
I surrender with a smile and a peace in my heart for it is He Who makes us whole and I am glad for this undertaking. Come, Lord Jesus, Come and be the Master of our Hearts! Come and fill us. Change us, fashion us, mold us and make us into Your work of art! We submit ourselves entirely to Your ways.
Oh, Savior, we are so blessed to even know You, much less have a private union with You in the Eucharist! You, oh Savior, are so good. Your goodness fills my heart with so much love of Thee and I feel such fluttering in my heart. I love You intently as You are. At Your name, every knee must bend in honor of You, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Alleluia.
He comes, the Savior of the world, and He dwells in this humble creature that I am and I am exalted to such heights in His presence. Alleluia. This, my friends, is God. Do you believe? God comes and dwells here in us! Who are we that He loves us in this way? This is the goodness of God. We cannot even comprehend His generosity, His goodness and His love. He gives us little glimpses, but it is only a drop in an ocean compared to His actual goodness.
Oh, fill us with knowledge of Your goodness so we can love You more, Master. I want to love You more and I need my heart opened more to You. Please open my heart to the things of God for He is great and worthy of all praise. Alleluia, Alleluia.
God of God, Lord of Lords! He waits for us with a heart of Love. Alleluia, Alleluia. What dignity He bestows on us. What life He gives to us. He is indeed a good God, worthy of such love. How can I love You more, Lord? Open my heart to this union with You. Alleluia, Alleluia. Praise the Lord!
Be only of the Spirit. Let go of all that keeps you attached to this world and soar the skies in your spirit. Your soul is transcended to a new realm of union with God. Let go to Him entirely. Surrender. Submission. Letting total trust in Him take place. You are a slave to His Love!
