Consecration Prayer for Peace
I consecrate Russia and the Ukraine to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
I further consecrate the priests, the Church and the world to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary.
I do this in the name of Jesus in as far as I am able, united to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, praying to the Father, in the Holy Spirit, with all the angels and saints and the souls in purgatory through the powerful intercession of Mary, Queen of Peace. Amen.
I further consecrate myself, all members of my family and ask the Holy Spirit to fill us. I spread the Blood of Jesus on all above, I cast the devil into hell away from all of us and consecrate all persons, in as far as I am able, to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart.
Prayer for Grace for Election and our Country
Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our president and leaders. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.
Morning Offering
Dear Father,
I offer up all I do all day united to Jesus
in the Mass, in the Holy Spirit, through
the powerful intercession of Mary, our
spiritual Mother, with all the angels and
saints, and the souls in purgatory, for
the priest, the Church, and the world.
We love You God so much.
We thank You and adore You and
petition You for our needs. Amen.

R. Pray for me today please.
Thank You God for the beautiful
Feast today!!!
Thank you Pope John Paul II for
the Mysteries of Light.
I saw some beautiful snow, it looked
like God pouring white all over the
earth, the white clouds were like
whipped ice cream, Such a beautiful
sky, light shining through in little
spurts. Sun shining in all the white,
sky and earth.
The snow so untouched by any
darkness in the field.
Nothing marred its beauty, not even
footprints in the field.
Heaven’s light and beauty is beyond
anything we can see here, like this
perfection in heaven.
If He can make snow to turn things
so beautiful and new - think of the
Lord’s Day with all the Holy Sacrifice
of the Mass celebrated Saturday afternoon
until Sunday night on the earth.
From the Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy
“… the liturgy is the summit toward which
the activity of the Church is directed, at the
same time it is the font from which all her
power flows.”
R. Our love here is imperfect, but always
deepening but like todays feast
“prepare in the wilderness a highway for
the Lord”
That means in our own hearts too.
Prepare,
Prepare,
Prepare (like Fr. Joe said: we prepare
too, be a priest, a doctor, a teacher.
We are so loved - prepare for eternal
life in heaven.
We need our spiritual soul, not marred
by sin, healthy and full of light and filled
with His life.
We need to die to bad habits, not settle
in to the old bad habits (deadly sins)
as familiar.
We need the virtues (good habits) not
old deadly sins.
Some people learned generational
abuses when they were learning to
walk, we are all a work in progress,
we need to die to self-will and ways
not like Jesus to grow in the life of
resurrection.
We live the life, death and resurrection
(the mystery of Christ) in our lives.
God is light and in Him is no darkness.
We are a work in progress.
God wants us to seek forgiveness and
His mercy,
He paid a precious price for this. He
wants to forgive us, we must seek this.
Follow Jesus’ example of perfection
and love.
“This is My beloved Son, in whom I
am well pleased.”
R. We want to please our Heavenly
Father, like Jesus showed us.
Today at Mass, I saw as never before
the energy of the Holy Spirit coming in
fire (like the tongues of fire on their
heads at Pentecost).
The Holy Spirit coming in Love and
Fire. (Burning Love)
R. Come Holy Spirit infuse into our
intellect Your gifts of wisdom,
knowledge and understanding.
Counsel us from the mind of God.
The heavens were thrown open.
The Holy Spirit as a dove over
Jesus’ head.
The Father’s voice was heard.
The beauty of this burns my heart.
The Trinity -
then the public life of Jesus -
miracles, teachings, Jesus’ life,
death and Resurrection.
The gift God gives us in the Church
is so great!
Oh God, thank You for the Church,
the priest, love, hope, faith, eternal
life, forever.
Through Him, With Him and In Him!!!
The gift that keeps giving.
Rita
I love this Feast
I love the Sacraments!!!!!

R. It is satan’s tactic to bring disorder
into the human condition with the
misuse of creatures.
Satan uses snares: that is deceptions to
get innocent others to fall into, but once
satan lays his trap he tries to rule, to
control, so the innocent others have
trouble getting out of his well engineered
trap through manipulation of willing men
to operate in unbounded pride to try to
trap the innocent man living to please God.
St. Ignatius tells us of the 2 Standards.
Excerpt of The Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius, by Louis J. Puhl, S.J. P.60-61
136. THE FOURTH DAY
A MEDITATION ON TWO STANDARDS
The one of Christ, our supreme leader and lord,
the other of Lucifer, the deadly enemy of our
human naturePRAYER. The usual preparatory prayer.
window at a former Jesuit Seminary
137. FIRST PRELUDE. This is the history. Here it will be that Christ calls and wants all beneath His standard, and Lucifer, on the other hand, wants all under his.
138. SECOND PRELUDE. This is a mental representation of the place. It will be here to see a great plain, comprising the whole region about Jerusalem, where the sovereign Commander-in-Chief of all the good is Christ our Lord; and another plain about the region of Babylon, where the chief of the enemy is Lucifer.
139. THIRD PRELUDE. This is to ask for what I desire. Here it will be to ask for a knowledge of the deceits of the rebel chief and help to guard myself against them; and also to ask for a knowledge of the true life exemplified in the sovereign and true Commander, and the grace to imitate Him.
FIRST PART
THE STANDARD OF SATAN
140. FIRST POINT. Imagine you see the chief of all the enemy in the vast plain about Babylon, seated on a great throne of fire and smoke, his appearance inspiring horror and terror.
141. SECOND POINT. Consider how he summons innumerable demons, and scatters them, some to one city and some to another, throughout the whole world, so that no province, no place, no state of life, no individual is overlooked.
142. THIRD POINT. Consider the address he makes to them, how he goads them on to lay snares for men and bind them with chains. First they are to tempt them to covet riches (as Satan himself is accustomed to do in most cases) that they may the more easily attain the empty honors of this world, and then come to overweening pride.
The first step, then, will be riches, the second honor, the third pride. From these three steps the evil one leads to all other vices.
SECOND PART
THE STANDARD OF CHRIST
143. In a similar way, we are to picture to ourselves the sovereign and true Commander, Christ our Lord.
144. FIRST POINT. Consider Christ our Lord, standing in a lowly place in a great plain about the region of Jerusalem, His appearance beautiful and attractive.
145. SECOND POINT. Consider how the Lord of all the world chooses so many persons, apostles, disciples, etc., and sends them throughout the whole world to spread His sacred doctrine among all men, no matter what their state or condition.
146. THIRD POINT. . . . end of excerpt
R. The trap of satan is much like a trap
in the yard trying to catch unwanted
animals hurting one's yard.
Satan comes in noisey, he operates in
pride, anger, jealousy, envy and
slothfulness taking over needed jobs
that is God’s will to take down the
house in dominance for dominance
sake, confusion, disorder, destruction,
unbounded violation of people’s
boundaries and rules.
It is a chain, an entrapment, that satan
sets, satan tries to tie up the innocent
by binding them in his sordid snare.
Satan wants to rule at any expense.
God is omnipotent and almighty,
the person attacking God’s plan uses
sin to try to rule God.
God is all powerful, worthy of our
praise, honor, love and obedience.
We are creatures, God is our Creator.
Such a person deceiving and working
for satan is sinning against God.
If it is of God, it will not be put down.1 Corinthians 15: 20-28
In fact, however, Christ has been raised from the dead, as the first-fruits of all who have fallen asleep. As it was by one man that death came, so through one man has come the resurrection of the dead. Just as all die in Adam, so in Christ all will be brought to life; but all of them in their proper order: Christ the first-fruits, and next, at his coming, those who belong to him. After that will come the end, when he will hand over the kingdom to God the Father, having abolished every principality, every ruling force and power. For he is to be king until he has made his enemies his footstool, and the last of the enemies to be done away with is death, for he has put all things under his feet. But when it is said everything is subjected, this obviously cannot include the One who subjected everything to him. When everything has been subjected to him, then the Son himself will be subjected to the One who has subjected everything to him, so that God may be all in all.
R. God will put His enemies under
His feet.
The sacrifice of Calvary shows Christ
mounting His throne of punishment,
being a victim for our sins.
How easy it is for a creature to use
other's power in disorder.
Satan wants to rule, he tries to go
over those in authority to rule.
God operates in obedience and structure.
The man setting a trap disobeying
authority over him, seeks authority over
their authority to bring them down,
so they can get away with their
disobedience to authority over them.
Satan wants rule.
The Holy Spirit is a breath and moves
gently like the blowing wind.
Satan comes in as one banging a drum
in a person's ear and refuses to stop.
Satan is relentless, he has nothing to lose.
He wants souls to sin and offend God.

Matthew 22: 36-40
'Master, which is the greatest commandment of the Law?' Jesus said to him, 'You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and the first commandment. The second resembles it: You must love your neighbour as yourself. On these two commandments hang the whole Law, and the Prophets too.'
Dear Holy Spirit, strengthen our will and
move like a Divine breath in our soul, to
be docile sons and daughters of our
Heavenly Father. Amen.
Alleluia.

Guiding Light homily series — Reflect on the Word — Cycle B The Word leaves an impression on our souls. In my thoughts and reflections are born a more tangible understanding of these eternal concepts presented in the Gospels and the readings. Anyone can read a sentence, but not anyone can absorb it's true meaning. Truth, in this day and age, is almost a matter of opinion or individual entitlement. We believe that Christ's truth is our Roman Catholic Church. We, as priests, champion it's teachings; we are ambassadors for the Pope and Christ to those faces looking at us. We are the light by which our congregation reads to reflect upon real truth and we do it hand in hand. $10 |
Guiding Light homily series — Steadfast to the Son — Cycle A The sunflower is a great example of how we should be steadfastly guided by light. What a powerful thought that this exceptional plant is not stuck in one pose day in and day out, yet adaptable and magnetized to the sun. We feel the same about our Son. Our heads turns to face Christ as each day presents its challenges to find light. We join together like plants in a field and soak up the Son through the pulpit. We are a warm circle of strength using the wind of our breath to carry our priests' words, Christ's words, to new rich soil. $10 |
Guiding Light — Focusing on the Word — Cycle B At times we may feel that our path to Christ is a bit "out of focus". Like the disciples in the Book of Mark, this ordinary life clouds our vision of Christ's Divinity. We may doubt the practicality or possibility of applying His teachings and example to our modern life. Cycle B's homilies are a "guiding light" to help us realize Jesus' Messianic greatness and His promise of better things to come. $10 |
Guiding Light — Feed My Soul — Cycle C In a world rapidly advancing and encouraging personal gain, we are faced with modern problems. There is a challenge to find time in our busy schedules for Sunday Mass or a family meal. We are able to research, shop, bank and even work without hearing one human voice. It is no wonder that we may often feel disconnected and famished at our week's end. In Fr. Joe's third book of homilies from Cycle C, we are reminded of the charity that Christ intended us to show each other. We have a calling to turn the other cheek and be the Good Samaritan to others. We are rewarded with the Father's kingdom and love when we are not worthy. We are not left alone or hungry. $10 |
