Prayer for Grace for our Country
Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our new president as he takes office. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.

R. Sunday is the Lord's Day.
God gives us people in our lives
to help us. Children have parents
to help them. They come helpless
in the world and the parents are
to care for them – help them grow –
teach them – teach them about
love, about trust, about
interaction.
God gave us laws we are
to live by. These laws are
given by God to help us to
be as we should be. God gives
us the commandments to help
us be happy and to attain
eternal life. We are to love these
laws as gifts and instructions
given by God of how we are
to be more and more in His
image and likeness. The
commandments are to be
obeyed by us. The commandments
are our helps, our friends to
living more and more as God
wants us to be.
We know God is our Creator
and we are His creatures and
He had a plan when He created
us. We love and serve our
God because He is our
Master. Jesus loved His Father
and obeyed Him. We follow
in the footsteps of Jesus so
we can love the Father more
and more as we should.
Our life's work is to be
more and more in the image and
likeness of God. God is love
and God commands us, His
creatures to love Him first
and to love our neighbor as
ourselves.
We are to know, love and
serve God. We were created to
know, love and serve God.
God gives us what we need
to be holy. God strengthens
us, when we go to Him with
our begging bowl out –
Jesus came to this earth to
teach us how to live. Jesus
took flesh and came into the
world to teach us. Jesus is
our Savior. Jesus is our friend.
Jesus wants us to trust Him and
spread His love to others.
Jesus taught us the
Lord's Prayer.
Praying the Lord's Prayer
with all my heart makes me close
to Our Father and makes me happy.
I love the words of the Our Father.
The heavenly Father created us in
love and loves us so very much.
We are to follow Jesus. People
who have authority are
given authority and restraints
are lifted for them to act.
This gives them freedom to act –
but in freedom a person is
not a leader to do what they
want – They are a leader to
be acting as God would have
them carry out their plan.
A leader has restraints lifted,
but the two-fold-purpose of
freedom is to, then act for the
goal of the destiny God wants.
A person in authority has power
and restraints are lifted for them
to act to serve as Jesus would
serve and do – for the plan
of God the Father.
God the Father loves us so
very much. He blesses those
abundantly that act for His Plan
to be used.
There is structure in the Plan
of God. God is the Creator and
over all His creatures. To think
that a person can ignore the
heavenly Father's commands
and will, and oppose Him
trying by force to hurt others
is a very serious wrong.
Power is given in the line
of structure to serve God. God
created us to know, love and
serve Him. We are to serve God.
According to the structure God
has put in our lives and we
are to use authority to act
in the Name of Jesus before
our heavenly Father.
A person in authority who
uses authority to force evil
actions on others will answer
to God.
We have responsibilities
before God and are accountable
before God for how we act.
There are consequences for our
actions.
A person never has authority
to bully others, play games for
fun of hurting others. Fr. Carter
says being unloving is sinful.
The more we are filled with
God's grace – His life in us,
the more we see in the
light. A person who keeps
giving into evil, living by
the deadly sins, doing what
ever they want for the sake of
power and hurting others,
lording their power over others
without admitting their sins
or being reconciled to God and
others about their offenses –
walks in deeper and deeper
darkness. Jesus says it's like a
person in grace walks in the day -
light. A person in darkness
cannot see like in the dark of
night many times. It can be so deep
in darkness the person's thoughts
become twisted, they can act
without any restrictions and
defy laws and boundaries
of God and men.
R. The first 3 commandments are
about our relationship with God.
The last 7 commandments about
our relationship with our neighbor.
God gives us the commandments
and commands we obey them,
but obeying them help us to be
holy as God wants. We are
to live like Jesus showed us.
We are to live in love –
loving God and loving others
being accountable and responsible
for our actions before God.
We want to be in the right place
in our relationships before God –
He is over, we are under. We
have a conscience, our conscience
of right and wrong is to be formed
according to the teachings Jesus
taught us. Our conscience
helps guide us in what we
say and do – our choices.
God gives us the Sacrament
of Penance and Reconciliation.
When we go to confession we
can confess our sins, be forgiven
if our confession is a good confession
and the grace in confession can help
us in our weaknesses and
help us show God more and
more our love.
We are to love and adore God.
He is to be first in our lives.
We are to live our lives for
the service of God walking
more and more as Jesus
did when He walked the
earth. We worship and love
God, Our Father, and we want
to love serving Him, as Mary
showed us. Mary showed us
she was the perfect Handmaid
of the Lord.
Mary is our model –
R. We see Mary's love of God's will –
We meditate on the Rosary on
Mary's "yes" to God.
We see Jesus adored His Father,
He spent time with His Father.
Jesus taught us how to be,
to pray in adoration and
thanksgiving, in praising
and worshipping God.
Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
R. We are to be compassionate and
generous all the way from little children.
Mary appeared to the children of
Fatima and told them they must
sacrifice for souls. When we
are kind and loving to others it
brings joy to our own heart.
R. In my dream last night I saw
a big white basket and across
the top of the basket full of
kind things done to others
and for others were the
letters, big on top
I have come so that they may have life and have it to the full.
R. Jesus shows us in His life
how He went out and served
others. Jesus treated each person
uniquely and with such dignity.
Our lives are to be lived to
follow Jesus' example and teaching.
He paid a big price to come here
and be our teacher.
Jesus today gives us His
letters of love in God's Blue Book
to spread to teach others how
much He loves us.

The generosity of God
By his divine power, he has lavished on us all the things we need for life and for true devotion, through the knowledge of him who has called us by his own glory and goodness. Through these, the greatest and priceless promises have been lavished on us, that through them you should share the divine nature and escape the corruption rife in the world through disordered passion. With this in view, do your utmost to support your faith with goodness, goodness with understanding, understanding with self–control, self–control with perseverance, perseverance with devotion, devotion with kindness to the brothers, and kindness to the brothers with love.

God to serve Him and walk in

We are to be kind and
loving to others like Jesus.
We will be judged by our

Lord Jesus, Chief Shepherd of the flock, I consecrate myself to Your most Sacred Heart. From Your pierced Heart the Church was born, the Church You have called me, as a member of Shepherds of Christ Associates, to serve in a most special way. You reveal Your Heart as a symbol of Your love in all its aspects, including Your most special love for me, whom You have chosen as Your companion in this most important work. Help me to always love You in return. Help me to give myself entirely to You. Help me always to pour out my life in love of God and neighbor! Heart of Jesus, I place my trust in You!
Dear Blessed Virgin Mary, I consecrate myself to your maternal and Immaculate Heart, this Heart which is symbol of your life of love. You are the Mother of my Savior. You are also my Mother. You love me with a most special love as a member of Shepherds of Christ Associates, a movement created by your Son as a powerful instrument for the renewal of the Church and the world. In a return of love, I give myself entirely to your motherly love and protection. You followed Jesus perfectly. You are His first and perfect disciple. Teach me to imitate you in the putting on of Christ.
