January 15th Holy Spirit Novena |
The Novena Rosary
Mysteries |
Pray for Chuck & other intentions.
Consecration Prayer for Peace
I consecrate Russia and the Ukraine to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
I further consecrate the priests, the Church and the world to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary.
I do this in the name of Jesus in as far as I am able, united to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, praying to the Father, in the Holy Spirit, with all the angels and saints and the souls in purgatory through the powerful intercession of Mary, Queen of Peace. Amen.
I further consecrate myself, all members of my family and ask the Holy Spirit to fill us. I spread the Blood of Jesus on all above, I cast the devil into hell away from all of us and consecrate all persons, in as far as I am able, to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart.
Prayer for Grace for Election and our Country
Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our president and leaders. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.
We were created by God in
the image of Jesus.
We were meant for this deep
love that can only be
satisfied by Him.
He reveals His love in my
heart inside of me, but I
know Him and love more in
my dear friends.
I know Jesus, the Father,
the Son more because of
the love I know in my family
and friends, the people I
love and love me and show
me their love.
God is the source of love. I
am richly blessed to know
more about love, because
of the love I know in
friendship.
It is real. It is deep. It is
dynamic because I love in
Him and my friends are
alive in His love.
God is the source of unity, it
is love we know in our
being, it is, as Fr. Carter
would say, ineffable.
Love doesn’t die in those
who have passed, love
doesn’t die even in
dementia, love is forever
and with the angels and
saints.
Love does not depend on
male and female, I love
deeply those God has
given me to love, and who
show me His love in their
relationship with me.
Love, known in my soul is
ever evolving to know more
how God is. To know more
God’s imprint on my soul in
loving me, in others, loving
in Him, I know the mystery,
ever evolving, of love.
He reveals more and more
the everlastingness, the
depth of love, forever in
knowing Him, others and
being loved as a special
creation, myself of our
Heavenly Father.
I know love more, the
mystery of the words, so
flimsy to explain it all
“I love you”
God has given us Himself,
others, ourselves and it is
the mystery of God’s love-
how He reveals this reality
to me in loving in my heart
here and now and how I
can
Embrace more the
infinitude of love to come
forever in heaven.
It is God’s will in creating us
in the image of Jesus, we
are love, we grow in love,
we know that God meant
for
more than we can fathom
the everlasting love of
heaven.
And He comes and dwells
in my heart, always
Like St Paul says: I have
been crucified with Him, it’s
no longer I who live, but He
who lives in me.
Let go to know greater and
greater love in Him,
We know love in these
relationships in our lives,
God is the source of this
gift we were created to
know, and to know ever
more eternally in heaven.
Let go, when one dies, love
we knew doesn’t die!
When one has dementia,
love doesn’t die, when we
know and love family and
friends, love is ever
evolving in Him.
God is love. Others love us
dearly in Him and we know
Him more and we love
them in depth beyond
words!
Love is precious and Jesus
shows us that love in our
lives.
Love that the Father sent
His only Son, love that
Jesus took flesh, love that
Jesus endured the bitter
Passion and died a brutal
death, so we could live the
life of resurrection in our
lives.
Love is the gift of eternal
salvation for man, forever,
for a soul knowing and
loving the Lord.
My mom that died 71 years
ago is still loving me in
heaven, my brother who
died of Parkinson’s still I
know him and love him.
I love my brother with
dementia, I love and know
love deeply in my friends
S and family. In the end, all is love, is it
not?

Joyful Mysteries
Christmas 2022
The Annunciation
1. Matthew 1: 18-25Joseph adopts Jesus as his son
This is how Jesus Christ came to be born. His mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph; but before they came to live together she was found to be with child through the Holy Spirit. Her husband Joseph, being an upright man and wanting to spare her disgrace, decided to divorce her informally. He had made up his mind to do this when suddenly the angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, ‘Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because she has conceived what is in her by the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son and you must name him Jesus, because he is the one who is to save his people from their sins.’ Now all this took place to fulfil what the Lord had spoken through the prophet:
Look! the virgin is with child
and will give birth to a son
whom they will call Immanuel,a name which means ‘God–is–with–us’. When Joseph woke up he did what the angel of the Lord had told him to do: he took his wife to his home; he had not had intercourse with her when she gave birth to a son; and he named him Jesus.
2. It is God’s will for us,
His children, we go to
heaven someday.
3. God the Father
sent, Jesus our Savior,
second Person of the
Blessed Trinity - to
come to the world, take
flesh and pay for our
sins.
4. Mary was conceived
without sin.
God created us to grow
in our image and
likeness of Jesus, then
go to heaven forever
someday.
5. Jesus came to set
the captives free.6. Luke 1:29
She was deeply disturbed by these words and asked herself what this greeting could mean,
7. The Angel told Mary
to not be afraid.8. Luke 1:38
Mary said, ‘You see before you the Lord’s servant, let it happen to me as you have said.’ And the angel left her.
9. Mary said "yes" she
loved the will of God.10. John 1:14
The Word became flesh,
he lived among us,
and we saw his glory,
the glory that he has from the Father
as only Son of the Father,
full of grace and truth.
The Visitation
1. Mary went to the hill
country to be with her
cousin Elizabeth, that
had conceived in her
old age.
2. Love is giving and
receiving. Love is not
controlling and one-
sided.
Look at the lives of
Jesus, Mary and
Joseph.
3. The MagnificatLuke 1: 46-55
And Mary said:
My soul proclaims
the greatness of the Lord
and my spirit rejoices
in God my Saviour;
because he has looked upon
the humiliation of his servant.
Yes, from now onwards
all generations will call me blessed,
for the Almighty
has done great things for me.
Holy is his name,
and his faithful love extends age after age
to those who fear him.
He has used the power of his arm,
he has routed the arrogant of heart.
He has pulled down princes
from their thrones
and raised high the lowly.
He has filled the starving with good things,
sent the rich away empty.
He has come to the help
of Israel his servant,
mindful of his faithful love
—according to the promise
he made to our ancestors—
of his mercy to Abraham
and to his descendants for ever.
4. Mary carried the life
of the Almighty God
within her womb. And
He was formed within
her body. His little body
formed in the womb of
a human person. It is
today when we go to
the heart of our Mother,
that the Holy Spirit
forms us more and
more into the image
and likeness of Jesus.
This is our refuge, this
is our place of great
love, the Heart of the
Virgin Mary.
5. Jesus came into this
world in the womb of
Mary. Man sinned and
Jesus came to save us
from our sins.
It is through Mary, the
pure and sinless one,
that we must go too, to
be so united to the
Almighty God.
We are sinners, we are
wounded. Adam and
Eve sinned against God.
6. I think of the child
Jesus within the womb
of Mary. The Almighty
God in her. I think of my
great moments of
greatest joy when I am
united to my beloved
Jesus in the Holy
Eucharist.
7. We must go through
the heart of Mary, our
spiritual womb, in order
to unite in great depth
with the Almighty God.
God sent His Son, into
the world in the Virgin
Mary, the pure and
sinless one. He tells us
to go to Mary's heart.
8. Mary stayed with
Elizabeth about three
months.
9. Elizabeth was carrying
John the Baptist.
10. For nothing is
impossible with God.
The Nativity
1. Luke 2:1-7Now it happened that at this time Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be made of the whole inhabited world. This census—the first—took place while Quirinius was governor of Syria, and everyone went to be registered, each to his own town. So Joseph set out from the town of Nazareth in Galilee for Judaea, to David’s town called Bethlehem, since he was of David’s House and line, in order to be registered together with Mary, his betrothed, who was with child. Now it happened that, while they were there, the time came for her to have her child, and she gave birth to a son, her first–born. She wrapped him in swaddling clothes and laid him in a manger because there was no room for them in the living–space.
2. Within the womb of
the Virgin Mary, the
Holy Spirit works to
sanctify us and to make
us more into the image
and likeness of Jesus.
Let us pray for light. Let
us pray that we may
see more fully, see
more clearly, not with
our eyes but with our
hearts. That we may
know God. The desire
that is so great within
us, that we want so
much to know our
Almighty God, God who
is love.
3. The Child Jesus was
born in a stable in
Bethlehem, not
adorned in gold and
silver, but He comes in
great poverty and is laid
on bare wood. This is
the Almighty God. Who
are we that we are so
high and mighty, that
we want so many things
of gold and silver?
4. The Almighty God
comes to show us His
way and His way is the
way of love. The most
important thing that we
must do is to love. This
is the real treasure, love
of God and love of one
another.
5. Jesus speaks: I want
to talk to you, My
beloved ones, and tell
you My love. But My
Heart is sad for the
world today. They are
willful in their ways. I
am calling you, My
children of light to go
into the darkness and
spread My love.
6. Jesus: My beloved
ones, how I love you,
and love all My precious
souls. Will you carry My
light into the dark
world? Will you tell
them that I am alive and
that I am with you and
that I want to give them
My love. I am the
Almighty God. I'll give
you My Divine love.
7. Jesus: My beloved
ones, I have given you
great gifts, each and
everyone of you
present.
My great grace I have
outpoured to you as
members of the
Shepherds of Christ
Movement. I am giving
to you abundant graces
to come to My Sacred
Heart. This is an urgent
message. You will carry
this light into the
darkness and many
hearts will be lead
home to My Heart.
8. Sing: I Am your Sacred Heart
9. Sing: Jesus, Jesus the Light of the World
10. Sing: A Song from Jesus
The Presentation in the Temple
1. Luke 2: 21-24When the eighth day came and the child was to be circumcised, they gave him the name Jesus, the name the angel had given him before his conception. And when the day came for them to be purified in keeping with the Law of Moses, they took him up to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord—observing what is written in the Law of the Lord: Every first–born male must be consecrated to the Lord—and also to offer in sacrifice, in accordance with what is prescribed in the Law of the Lord, a pair of turtledoves or two young pigeons.
2. Sing: Little Baby Hands and Feet
3. And Mary's heart was
filled with immense
sorrow, for she knew
from that point on that
her Son, Jesus, would
suffer.
4. And Mary looked at
her child, Jesus. It was a
connection deep within
her heart, and the Heart
of her Son. For Jesus, in
His Divine, knowing,
knowing all things, and
Mary, knowing from the
prophecy of Simeon,
They shared this
immense secret,
knowing of the
sufferings to come.
5. Mary would suffer in
her life thinking of this
moment. When she
watched Jesus play,
she knew He would
suffer. There was
suffering from this time
on in her heart.
6. And Mary said: I
stood beneath the
cross of my Son. I stood
beneath the cross of
my Son on Calvary and
my heart was in such
pain.
7. When we meditate on
the Seven Sorrows, we
can receive favors at
the hour of death Mary
promised for this
devotion.
8. Mary would like us to
have this devotion to
her Seven Sorrows.
9. The Seven Sorrow
Devotion is in the
Shepherds of Christ
Prayer Manual.
10. The Seven Sorrows
are: the Prophecy of
Simeon, the Flight into
Egypt,
the Finding in the
Temple, Mary and Jesus
see each other on the
way to Calvary,
Jesus Died on the
Cross.
Jesus is taken down
from the Cross and laid
in Mary's arms.
Jesus is Locked in the
Tomb.
The Finding of Jesus in the Temple
1. Luke 2: 41-52Every year his parents used to go to Jerusalem for the feast of the Passover. When he was twelve years old, they went up for the feast as usual. When the days of the feast were over and they set off home, the boy Jesus stayed behind in Jerusalem without his parents knowing it. They assumed he was somewhere in the party, and it was only after a day’s journey that they went to look for him among their relations and acquaintances. When they failed to find him they went back to Jerusalem looking for him everywhere.
It happened that, three days later, they found him in the Temple, sitting among the teachers, listening to them, and asking them questions; and all those who heard him were astounded at his intelligence and his replies. They were overcome when they saw him, and his mother said to him, ‘My child, why have you done this to us? See how worried your father and I have been, looking for you.’ He replied, ‘Why were you looking for me? Did you not know that I must be in my Father’s house?’ But they did not understand what he meant. He went down with them then and came to Nazareth and lived under their authority. His mother stored up all these things in her heart. And Jesus increased in wisdom, in stature, and in favour with God and with people.
2. How many people
today are lost? They
have lost their way.
They are not united to
Jesus as they should
be. They choose to be
divided from their
spouse many times,
God calls us to be
united, in the Hearts of
Jesus and Mary.
3. Oh Jesus wants unity
in the families. Jesus
wants holy mothers and
fathers. Many children
have lost their way.
4. God has given to us a
great gift to be more
and more united to Him
in the Holy Eucharist.
5. God wants us to be
united. The Church is
One, Holy, Catholic and
Apostolic.
6. Jesus speaks: I am
alive. I am alive. I am
alive. You are My
apostles. I have called
each one of you by
name. Each one of you
are so important to My
Heart.
7. Jesus speaks: I call
you to work together in
love for the building of
My Kingdom.
8. Jesus speaks: Operate
to do God’s will -
do not be willful
and selfish. A house
divided against itself
will not stand. Obey just
authority.
9. Sing song: I Love You, Jesus
10. Sing song: A Song from Jesus
Sing song: A Priest is a Gift from God
Sing song: What Child is This?
Sing song: Silent Night
Mary's Message
from the Rosary of August 27, 1996
Mary: I stood beneath the cross of my Son, and my Heart was in such pain for I saw Him before my eyes. I saw Him covered with blood. I saw Him die. My Heart, my children, my Heart to watch my Son, but my Heart, my Heart, how I suffered for my little children of the world that give in to this world and give up the love of my Son. O my little children of light, I give you this message. Carry this light into the darkness for your Mother Mary, for I stood beneath the cross and I cried. I cried for the little ones. I cried for the young ones, the ones that do not care and will lose their souls. How do I make you see for you will not listen to me? What can I do? I come. I appear. I beg. I plead. I give you these gifts from my Son, and you reject me. I do not deliver messages very often anymore for I have been ignored. The message is the same. You do not read the messages I have given to you. Please help me. Help the little children. I appear. I appear. I appear, and I am ignored. I stood beneath the cross, and I cried. I cried, and my Heart was in such anguish for my little children, for I am searching for them this day as I searched for the Child Jesus. Please, please help me. I cannot hold back the hand of my Son any longer. I am Mary, your Mother. I ask you to help my children. You are my children of light.

Guiding Light homily series — Reflect on the Word — Cycle B The Word leaves an impression on our souls. In my thoughts and reflections are born a more tangible understanding of these eternal concepts presented in the Gospels and the readings. Anyone can read a sentence, but not anyone can absorb it's true meaning. Truth, in this day and age, is almost a matter of opinion or individual entitlement. We believe that Christ's truth is our Roman Catholic Church. We, as priests, champion it's teachings; we are ambassadors for the Pope and Christ to those faces looking at us. We are the light by which our congregation reads to reflect upon real truth and we do it hand in hand. $10 |
Guiding Light homily series — Steadfast to the Son — Cycle A The sunflower is a great example of how we should be steadfastly guided by light. What a powerful thought that this exceptional plant is not stuck in one pose day in and day out, yet adaptable and magnetized to the sun. We feel the same about our Son. Our heads turns to face Christ as each day presents its challenges to find light. We join together like plants in a field and soak up the Son through the pulpit. We are a warm circle of strength using the wind of our breath to carry our priests' words, Christ's words, to new rich soil. $10 |
Guiding Light — Focusing on the Word — Cycle B At times we may feel that our path to Christ is a bit "out of focus". Like the disciples in the Book of Mark, this ordinary life clouds our vision of Christ's Divinity. We may doubt the practicality or possibility of applying His teachings and example to our modern life. Cycle B's homilies are a "guiding light" to help us realize Jesus' Messianic greatness and His promise of better things to come. $10 |
Guiding Light — Feed My Soul — Cycle C In a world rapidly advancing and encouraging personal gain, we are faced with modern problems. There is a challenge to find time in our busy schedules for Sunday Mass or a family meal. We are able to research, shop, bank and even work without hearing one human voice. It is no wonder that we may often feel disconnected and famished at our week's end. In Fr. Joe's third book of homilies from Cycle C, we are reminded of the charity that Christ intended us to show each other. We have a calling to turn the other cheek and be the Good Samaritan to others. We are rewarded with the Father's kingdom and love when we are not worthy. We are not left alone or hungry. $10 |
