                R. Thank You God for this day. I unite with
                all the angels and saints and the Holy Sacrifice
                of the Mass and ask God to help me today
                to live IN Him, doing His will.

Dear God, I love You, I adore You,
I worship You.

What a wonderful gift our bodies are
that God gives us.

                    God loved us into existence. God
                created us and gives us this wonderful
                body – a miracle.

                    Thank You God for creating me and giving
                me life and giving me this wonderful
                body. Thank You for my heart and my
                blood. Thank You God that I can
                think and love and move about
                when I want.

                    Thank You God for my free will.
                Thank You for my brain that helps
                run my body. All this is a big miracle
                is it not?

                    Thank You for my eyes and my hand
                that can write what I am thinking.
                I know that God cares for me and
                God is, because He gave me all this
                and this helps me understand how
                close He really is to me and how
                He has a plan after my body gets
                old and dies.

                    Thank You God for helping me
                move about and go to Sunday
                Mass today and see my brother say the
                Mass.

                    Thank You God and I know a big
                world out there with Masses going
                on all over the world. And I can
                think of my brothers all over the
                world and pray to God to ask us
                all for grace and help.

                    How wonderful all this is to
                know the Trinity dwelling in my
                graced baptized soul –

I am never alone – God dwells
in my graced baptized soul.

God is order – God operates in
order –

                    Jesus loves us so very much–
                He is our Savior and He died for us –
                Men can be chained by their
                slavery to satan – this is their own
                free choice to serve satan –
                a fallen angel and reject God who loves
                them and created them. We were
                created to love – to be more and more
                in the image of Jesus –

                    We can reject God to be prideful
                and be our own boss – listen to
                the deception of the father of lies –
                satan

                    Jesus is the way, the truth and
                the life. Pride is a sick thing for a
                person to be so prideful, created by God –
                and try to be over God and reject Him –
                disobey the commandments, hurt our
                brothers and think we are supreme!

                    God loves us – the Holy Spirit wants to guide
                us and give us wisdom and understanding
                and joy and peace.

                    It is God who helps us to grow
                in deeper unity with Him and
                with our brothers.

John 15: 5

I am the vine,
you are the branches.

R. Jesus came to teach us about
God. Jesus loves us so much!

God has given us this Movement.

Lord Jesus, Chief Shepherd of the flock, I consecrate myself to Your most Sacred Heart. From Your pierced Heart the Church was born, the Church You have called me, as a member of Shepherds of Christ Associates, to serve in a most special way. You reveal Your Heart as a symbol of Your love in all its aspects, including Your most special love for me, whom You have chosen as Your companion in this most important work. Help me to always love You in return. Help me to give myself entirely to You. Help me always to pour out my life in love of God and neighbor! Heart of Jesus, I place my trust in You!

In a return of love, I give myself entirely to your motherly love and protection. You followed Jesus perfectly. You are His first and perfect disciple. Teach me to imitate you in the putting on of Christ. Be my motherly intercessor so that, through your Immaculate Heart, I may be guided to an ever closer union with the pierced Heart of Jesus, Chief Shepherd of the flock.

Fr. Carter's Birthday

Matthew 27: 62-66

The guard at the tomb

Next day, that is, when Preparation Day was over, the chief priests and the Pharisees went in a body to Pilate and said to him, ‘Your Excellency, we recall that this impostor said, while he was still alive, "After three days I shall rise again." Therefore give the order to have the sepulchre kept secure until the third day, for fear his disciples come and steal him away and tell the people, "He has risen from the dead." This last piece of fraud would be worse than what went before.’ Pilate said to them, ‘You may have your guard; go and make all as secure as you know how.’ So they went and made the sepulchre secure, putting seals on the stone and mounting a guard.

                R. We meditate on Jonah too, who was in the
                belly of the fish for 3 days and 3 nights –
                Jesus, the Son of God was in the belly of
                the earth for 3 days.

                    Jesus' body when He rose was glorified.
                How could matter stop Jesus from
                rising from the tomb in His glorified
                body.

                    Can you imagine the guards that
                were petrified in fright at the
                Son of God rising from the dead. Men saw
                Jesus put to death in the horrible crucifixion.
                Jesus came forth victorious in glorified
                wounds.

                    My dark clothing I wash in cold water.
                There is cause and effect for things. Once
                I washed little shirts for my two girls that
                were 100% cotton – The shirts were cheap and
                it was over 40 years ago. I bought a lot
                of shirts because of the sale and they
                shrunk several sizes and they were too
                small for either girl after I washed them.
                Cause – effect. This is a natural thing –
                100% cotton – 40 years ago – in hot water.

                R. I never saw shirts shrink
                so much. Cause - effect – natural things.
                When a person continues deceiving and not
                even reporting what happened truthfully and
                they practice deceiving others day long – is
                it surprising then, that they become so
                good at deceiving. That is lying. Disorder
                and lying brings more disorder, a chain
                of events satan can work through to do
                his dirty work.

                    How close can a man become to God
                when he is a pathological liar, and
                manipulates things to try to force
                his lies on men living in the truth.

                    We have today to live and to see the
                beauty God has given to us. Jesus died
                so we could have life. His wounds
                were glorified and He appeared showing
                them after the resurrection – glorified wounds –

                    Whenever Jesus and Mary appear They
                are filled with light. Once I saw Jesus dressed
                in white and sitting in a chair next to where
                Mary appeared in the back of the Holy Spirit
                Center. It was the Easter season and He was
                full of light and He showed me Himself
                all in white.

                    God wants man to meditate on the
                crucifixion and resurrection. Jesus
                died a brutal death and He came back
                from the dead – He appeared all white –
                His wounds glorified.

                    Jesus gives us baptism - a sharing in His
                life and He feeds this life with Himself.
                Jesus, He wants to transform us more and
                more in His image and likeness. Jesus
                comes to us in the Eucharist and we
                eat His Body and drink His Blood. We
                put on Christ.

                    The Resurrection is a miracle.
                Christ came back from the dead;
                Christ triumphed over death.

                    In baptism God elevates
                our knowing capacity to a
                supernatural level. We grow in knowledge
                of God by going to God and being humble
                and surrendering as He reveals secrets
                into the hidden mysteries to us.

Excerpt from Response to God's Love by Fr. Edward Carter, S.J.

    ... In reference to Christianity, God himself is the ultimate mystery. Radically, God is completely other and transcendent, hidden from man in his inner life, unless he chooses to reveal himself. Let us briefly look at this inner life of God.

    The Father, in a perfect act of self-expression, in a perfect act of knowing, generates his son. The Son, the Word, is, then, the immanent expression of God's fullness, the reflection of the Father. Likewise, from all eternity, the Father and the Son bring forth the Holy Spirit in a perfect act of loving.

    At the destined moment in human history, God's self-expression, the Word, immersed himself into man's world. God's inner self-expression now had also become God's outer self-expression. Consequently, the mystery of God becomes the mystery of Christ. In Christ, God tells us about himself, about his inner life, about his plan of creation and redemption. He tells us how Father, Son, and Holy Spirit desire to dwell within us in the most intimate fashion, how they wish to share with us their own life through grace. All this he has accomplished and does accomplish through Christ.

                R. It is a paradox that a person of
                pride (which is a deadly sin) thinks
                they know it all and many times because
                of pride makes the devil their counsel
                as they reject anyone over them
                including God, but go downward and obey
                a fallen angel – the father of lies
                for the "stuff" they put in their
                intellect.

                    We see some men who lose their
                memory and capability to reason and
                thinking. How sad it is a man rises
                and fight for lies and deadly sins.

                    Intellect is a gift – talents are gifts
                from God to be used to build the Kingdom of God –
                how sad a man would use God's given
                talents and intellect to offend God
                and promote the Kingdom for satan.

                    God and only God brings true, real
                happiness, joy, submission to God's
                will.

                    A person so full of pride and seeking
                power as their ultimate goal of
                living has not learned the 1st commandment
                that God must be first and not themselves.

                    Do we ever even comprehend the
                infinite goodness of God. What does
                infinite mean to us. Why would a
                man grasp for power and control
                to be over everyone – does he not
                see how it contradicts the first
                commandment. Do they even understand
                they are human by nature and God is Divine.

God gave Adam and Eve so many gifts and
Eve wanted to be equal to God.

                    Did you ever go to the Grand Canyon –
                how old do you think are the Canadian
                Rockies –

                R. How old are the age old hills when
                compared to a prideful man's life
                who spreads his wings day after
                day and is flying not toward the
                God who created the eternal hills,
                but choose a dung heap of endless
                darkness that has a stench and
                leads men eternally to darkness.

                    Hills and mountains help us think of the
                age-lessness of eternity. The intellect was made
                to know God and grow supernaturally
                to serve God in goodness and
                light.

                    Why would a man use his intellect
                in pride to raise himself in his own
                false mind to think he is above God,
                above authority.

                    Minds are full of thoughts, what
                of a man that uses their mind to try
                to prove that evil is good and good
                is evil, lying and lying when they could
                say what they mean and do what
                they say and tell the truth and bear
                witness to God before men.

We were created to have fullness
of life with God in heaven.

                    A man of wisdom keeps his eyes
                on the age-old stars, the splendor
                of God, the reality God is love, God
                is light, God brings joy and peace
                to the soul. How wonderful it is
                to ponder the thoughts of eternity
                and our true home in heaven.

                How God lifts us up. How the baptized
                soul can be filled more and more with faith,
                hope and love and live virtuously in the Holy Spirit.

Think of eternity –

We can spend eternity with God or
We can spend eternity without God.

                All men that died will go to
                    some eternity –
                    with or without God.

                Our life gets shorter and shorter
                    every day – So why would
                    someone live a life of lies
                    and evil.

                Our life moves on in petty pace and
                    will go one place or will
                    go eternally to another –
                    This depends on how we
                        lived our life.

                God is preparing a place for us in
                    our true home, but heaven
                    is a REWARD for doing
                    what God asked for –

Heaven is real.
Hell is real.

We must accept responsibility for
our actions –

                Satan wants us to lie –
                    become pros of deception –
                    ignore responsibility for actions.

                The more we meditate on the
                    supernatural, on meditating
                    on God lifting us up and
                    sharing His life with us –
                    opening the supernatural world
                    to us in baptism –
                    the easier it would be to not
                    give into the darkness of
                    satan, the snares of satan,
                    the disorder of satan to
                    take down the house that
                    is trying to spread the Good News.

The sinner is the one who rejects
God with his free will –

                The devil wants drama too – the more
                    offending in rejecting God a man
                    is, the more the devil pushes
                    the sinner to live a life rejecting
                    and scorning God –
                    living with no regard for his
                        sins, the devil can press a
                        man, who allows satan to
                        use him, to deeper and deeper
                        snares, disorders and
                        rejection of God – arguing
                        in anger and pride how right
                        they are in their brazen offense
                        against God.

                The thinking becomes more and more
                    twisted to try to do the sordid
                    behavior against God –
                    they entertain satan and
                    give into deeper and deeper
                    evil, if they become more and
                    more evil with their free will –

                God created us to be perfect as our
                    heavenly Father is perfect –
                    God commanded man to love
                    Him and others, but gave
                    him a free will –

                If a man knows God and that
                    God is just – they must
                    know there is a hell for
                    those who reject God and
                    sin mortally against God –
                    without repentance

                Do we grasp the mystery of the
                    beatific vision and the promise
                    of God for those who love and
                    serve the Lord.

Prayer for Union with Jesus

Come to me, Lord, and possess my soul. Come into my heart and permeate my soul. Help me to sit in silence with You and let You work in my heart.

    I am Yours to possess. I am Yours to use. I want to be selfless and only exist in You. Help me to spoon out all that is me and be an empty vessel ready to be filled by You. Help me to die to myself and live only for You. Use me as You will. Let me never draw my attention back to myself. I only want to operate as You do, dwelling within me.

    I am Yours, Lord. I want to have my life in You. I want to do the will of the Father. Give me the strength to put aside the world and let You operate my very being. Help me to act as You desire. Strengthen me against the distractions of the devil to take me from Your work.

    When I worry, I have taken my focus off of You and placed it on myself. Help me not to give in to the promptings of others to change what in my heart You are making very clear to me. I worship You, I adore You and I love You. Come and dwell in me now.

Cling to Me

Jesus: My dear child, if you stay close to Me, then I live in you and you live in Me. I am He Who created you and I love you with such an intensity that you will never know. My words are your truth. You must abide in My heart in all things. There is no room for doubt. My ways are steadfast, direct, and without error.

    You must stay rooted in Me to ward off the power of the evil one. His grip is paralyzing and crippling. His power is stronger every day.

    When you live in Me, I am in your heart and he has no power over Me. I am your God. I am your true lover. I want to protect you. I want to guard you from this force. Stay rooted firmly in Me and he will have no power.

    I am He Who comforts you. My hand is upon you. Hold tight to Me, My child. My eyes are fixed right on you. You are My most precious child. I love you as no other can. My arms are about you. My tenderness surrounds you. My love is in your heart. You go not alone. I walk with you.

    I share every aspect of your life with you. Cling to Me, feel My presence. It is warm and secure within your chest. There is no room for fear, for I cast out fear and bring you comfort and joy.

                R. Heaven is a place promised to those
                    who love and serve God and
                    do His will –

                There would have to be a place for
                    those who sin mortally
                    and reject God and refuse
                    to repent from their sins –

                A person who rejects God and sins
                    mortally and lives in lies
                    and deception and will not
                    repent has put themselves far
                    from God.

                God loves us so much. He wants to
                    bless us, to love us, to be
                    friends with us, to do His
                    work –

God is unchangeable –

                Man can reject God and sin
                    mortally – lie to himself
                    and live in deception
                    and disobedience on purpose
                    not repenting –

                We have a free will to choose God or
                    to disobey and rebel against God
                    and reject Him.

                We look up to God, we praise
                    God, we love God and God
                    in His unfathomable
                    love –
                    LIFTS US UP

                We must put our lives
                    IN ORDER according
                    to God and
                    live by God's order –

                How do you think God treats
                    a priest or religious that
                    reject God and give a
                    scandalous example
                    before others – with no
                    responsibility for their actions –

                Religious take the vow or promise
                    of obedience to
                    their superiors –

Fr. Carter took his vow of obedience
so seriously –

God is all holy –

                Religious are to be examples
                    of holiness and obedience
                    before others

                God calls religious to obedience,
                But God calls them to be instruments
                    of love.

1 John 4: 7-11

My dear friends, let us love one another, since love is from God and everyone who loves is a child of God and knows God. Whoever fails to love does not know God, because God is love. This is the revelation of God's love for us, that God sent his only Son into the world that we might have life through him. Love consists in this: it is not we who loved God, but God loved us and sent his Son to expiate our sins. My dear friends, if God loved us so much, we too should love one another.

                R. Hearts are to be pure and
                    seek to know more and more
                    about God, about
                    Divinity, about love –
