                We cannot be silent

                God has called us to be witnesses of
                    hope —
                To speak out for God —
                To speak out for Christian values —
                The people who use the media to
                    be brassy about telling the
                    untruth is wrong —
                    Why then are we silent when God
                        has called us to speak —

                When we disobey — do we lie and
                    say I did obey —

                Saul did not do what Samuel
                    told him to do — He was
                    anointed by the prophet Samuel —
                    Saul displeased the Lord —
                    Obedience to God is better than sacrifice

Psalm 50: 8-9, 16-17, 21, 23

                Jesus says
                When you hate discipline —
                    should I be deaf to it

                The Word of God is living and active
                    it probes the motives and
                    actions of the heart —

                The priest said at Mass

                When there are different ethnic groups
                    kids struggle getting along

                The kids would say:
                Why did God make us different?

                This priest had two identical sisters
                    older than him —
                    They did not act the same —

                He said:
                    Because of original sin —

                He said:
                    If we want to work for peace
                        we have to put aside old
                        assumptions and put away
                        our old wine skins —

                    We have to change to what is
                        right —

                We are always in the state of becoming —
                    always working in peace —
                    all people were made in the image and
                        likeness of God —

                Think empty —

                God wants us working together —

                We receive the Eucharist

                We pray for people — living as one —

                Oh God help us —
                Oh God, please, help us —

                For unity —

                We are always learning —

                Jesus has enemies —
                Jesus was perfect goodness

                They hated Him fiercely —

                The more Jesus showed His power —
                    the more they hated Him —

                Herod wanted to kill Jesus when He
                    was born —
                Jesus was always rejected —
                People would rather keep their
                    bad traits than change —

                Rejection of Jesus —

                The devil wants to keep Jesus out —
                The devil doesn't like what those
                    promoting Jesus are doing —

                Jesus knew He had to die and
                    to rise

                There are 2 Standards - St. Ignatius says

                We can put ourselves under the wrong
                    standard — consistently —
                        some of the time

                But the affection for one called by Jesus
                    to do His work is not to give
                    into a person under the standard
                    of satan —

                One called by Jesus — always follows
                    Jesus — always knows our lives
                    are lived following Jesus —

                The Standard of satan is where we
                    let the thoughts of men, the
                    thoughts of the world rule us
                    opposed to God —

                Every knee should bow to Jesus and
                    follow in His footsteps —

                We say to satan
                        "Get behind me satan"

                Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.

                Truth — Jesus is truth
                Satan is the father of lies —

                Jesus loves us
                Jesus lets us suffer to teach us about
                    Himself —

                God's ways are not our ways —

                God wants us to live as we should —
                    Jesus lets us suffer to teach
                        us lessons —

                When we make obstacles in our own
                    lives which hurt our relationship
                    to God — God may allow us to
                    suffer in such misery —
                    unsettledness in doing our
                    will opposed to God's will —

                We have lack of peace — lack of life
                    when we close ourselves down and
                    act unlovingly —
                    when we rupture our relationship
                    with God and others —
                We hurt — like, I think of, the lepers —

                Jesus used the lepers in the scriptures —
                    Jesus healed the lepers —
                    Jesus is the way, the truth and life —

                When we close down with a stone heart —
                    I think of Stone Mountain in
                    Atlanta — it looked cold and hard —

                I had a vision once — during Mass —
                    there was a stone mountain and
                    in front was Our Lady - holding
                    Jesus in front of her — arms
                    outstretched holding Jesus the child
                    and she kept pushing Jesus forward
                    out to us —

                She was dressed in a pastel color —
                    soon others came in pastel
                    colors —
                    babies — mothers — came around
                    our Lady —

                This was during the Preparation of Gifts —
                    We give our children to the
                    tender Hearts of Jesus and Mary.

                Frigid Hearts

                Hearts dead in sin —

                Hearts immobile

                Keeping on keeping on being like a stone —

                God is love —
                In the Shepherds of Christ we are to promote this devotion
                    to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart —

                Push it out there —
                Put the pictures of Jesus' Heart - out there —

                    WARM, SOFT, SUPPLE, LOVING,
                    ON FIRE like Blue Book II

                Now look at Stone Mountain and
                    look at the Heart of Jesus —
                    Jesus is love —
                    Jesus wants unity

John 17: 21-23

May they all be one,
just as, Father, you are in me
   and I am in you,

so that the world may believe

Jesus: My dear child, if you stay close to Me, then I live in you and you live in Me. I am He Who created you and I love you with such an intensity that you will never know. My words are your truth. You must abide in My heart in all things. There is no room for doubt. My ways are steadfast, direct, and without error.

    You must stay rooted in Me to ward off the power of the evil one. His grip is paralyzing and crippling. His power is stronger every day.

    When you live in Me, I am in your heart and he has no power over Me. I am your God. I am your true lover. I want to protect you. I want to guard you from this force. Stay rooted firmly in Me and he will have no power.

    I am He Who comforts you. My hand is upon you. Hold tight to Me, My child. My eyes are fixed right on you. You are My most precious child. I love you as no other can. My arms are about you. My tenderness surrounds you. My love is in your heart. You go not alone. I walk with you.

    I share every aspect of your life with you. Cling to Me, feel My presence. It is warm and secure within your chest. There is no room for fear, for I cast out fear and bring you comfort and joy.

                Why do we persecute Jesus

Acts 9: 1-9

Meanwhile Saul was still breathing threats to slaughter the Lord's disciples. He went to the high priest and asked for letters addressed to the synagogues in Damascus, that would authorise him to arrest and take to Jerusalem any followers of the Way, men or women, that he might find.

It happened that while he was travelling to Damascus and approaching the city, suddenly a light from heaven shone all round him. He fell to the ground, and then he heard a voice saying, 'Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?' 'Who are you, Lord?' he asked, and the answer came, 'I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. Get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you are to do.' The men travelling with Saul stood there speechless, for though they heard the voice they could see no one. Saul got up from the ground, but when he opened his eyes he could see nothing at all, and they had to lead him into Damascus by the hand. For three days he was without his sight and took neither food nor drink.

                The saints who were religious
                    endured their vocation —

                    If superiors were hard — they
                        obeyed them —

                Jesus was rejected — to follow in His
                    footsteps — we do God's will —

                    We know what God wants and we do it —
                    We just DO GOD'S WILL —
                    We say, 'yes' to God —
                    We don't give into others who may
                        try to take us from God's will —

                        We don't straddle the fence —

                COMMITMENT to our vocation
                    whether married life or
                    religious life

                We don't straddle the fence —
                    We love, We live, We forgive

                We obey, We will be asked to endure
                    suffering when we follow in the
                        footsteps of Jesus —

                We see Jesus was rejected, Jesus
                    was persecuted, Jesus endured,
                    when Peter recognized Jesus —
                        He said

Matthew 16: 16

Then Simon Peter spoke up and said, 'You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.'

But he turned and said to Peter, ‘Get behind me, Satan! You are an obstacle in my path, because you are thinking not as God thinks but as human beings do.’

 

                Jesus said — that is satan

                There are 2 Standards —
                    We follow Jesus and build the
                        Kingdom of God —

                    Standard of Satan —

                We can stay in following the
                    standard of satan or

                we can go back and forth like
                    Peter did —

                But Peter's heart was good —

                Peter wanted to serve God
                Peter said he was sorry —

                Judas betrayed Jesus with a kiss —
                    Judas would not repent —

                Commitment to one's vocation —

                    Being married to another forever

                Religious vocation — Being married to Jesus
                    forever

                The devil tempts the person how
                    they can't persevere the
                    commitment —

                i.e. Married people that divorced who
                    did not have a very big issue —
                    just wouldn't work with
                    another to change and get along

                i.e. People in religious life who are
                    unfaithful to Jesus —
                    always having something else
                    going on to give themselves
                    pleasure —

                NOT COMMITTED entirely
                    to their vocation as they
                    should be —

                Saying to themselves —
                    I can split my focus —

                A married person is married to
                    their spouse through the
                    sacrament of marriage —

                A religious is married to Jesus
                    and takes vows of
                    obedience and chastity —

                Roses — Mary can appear and there is
                    sometimes the scent of Roses —

                Mary can be there in a special way and I
                    have smelled the roses and sometimes not
                    see her, but smelled roses

                An oder of sanctity —

                On December 17, 2009 — the 13th anniversary
                    of Mary's image at Clearwater —
                    at 6:20 — 35 Haitians showed
                    up for the anniversary —
                    they sang and they prayed
                    as I never heard before —
                    It was so beautiful —

                Then they processed all around
                    the building —
                    there was hardly any other pilgrims
                    who came for this anniversary

                On January 13, 2010 — an earthquake hit
                    Haiti and the Cathedral, the
                    seminaries were leveled and
                    the Haitian Archbishop was found
                    dead under the rubble —

                Look at all these 5ths when
                    Mary's image turned gold and
                    nobody showed up for the
                    13th anniversary, but
                    35 Haitians December 17, 2009 —

A message for the Earth from Jesus

January 22, 1998

    I am the Good Shepherd, these are My prayers, the prayers I give to help renew the Church and the world, all prayer chapters are asked to include these prayers (found in the Shepherds of Christ Prayer Manual). As My Apostles and Shepherds I ask you to encourage all existing Chapters to try to encourage all existing prayer groups to pray the Shepherds of Christ prayers. Encourage all Churches to pray these prayers. It is most urgent that the people of this earth concur with the Father's wishes to begin Prayer Chapters. This is an urgent request from the Good Shepherd. The flock will become one when they have given their hearts to Jesus and Mary. Encourage all priests to pray the Shepherds of Christ prayers. Your world will be lighted with great light as the people of this earth pray these prayers.

    My promise is this to you My beloved earth: When you give your heart to Me and spread the devotion to My Sacred Heart, I will write your name In My Heart. I promise to give the greatest graces when you pray these prayers for renewal of the Church and the world and take all who pray them deeply into My Heart. The prayers I give will bring about the reign of My Sacred Heart and the triumph of Mary's Immaculate Heart. I am Jesus Christ, this is My message of January 22, 1998, Please circulate this message to your world. I am the Good Shepherd, I know Mine and Mine know Me and they follow Me. Grace My Shepherds, I will give you the greatest graces for spreading these words to this earth and to your Church. I love you, I am Jesus Christ, the Son of Man, it is the Plan of the Father that Prayer Chapters are begun immediately and the Priestly Newsletter is given to all priests. The Voice of the Good Shepherd speaks through it.

                Do we let robbers in our heart
                    Robbing us of the goodness?
                    God wants —

                Am I trying to live a good Christian
                    life —
                    Do I love God —
                    Am I giving myself to God in love —
                    I do not want any sin —
                    I watch everything I do
                        trying to serve God —

                    I do not tell little lies —
                    I live to be more like Christ —
                    I live to give honor and glory
                        to God —
                    To walk as the handmaid of the Lord —
                        Mary, Our Mother
                    To walk humbly as Mary
                    Look at how Jesus was treated —
                        Jesus remained meek and
                            tender of heart —

                    Jesus had enemies and yet
                        Jesus did the will of the
                        Father no matter what —

                    Jesus is love —
                    Jesus suffered with the
                        persecution and hatred, but
                        He loved them —

                But He told them how it was
                    with them when they were sinners —

                Jesus is the way, the truth and
                    the life

                Jesus showed us the way

                We can be prideful and attached to
                    affections, money — so
                    attached to saving face —
                    so attached to others giving
                    us affection

                God has a plan for us

                God wants our commitment
