I further consecrate myself, all members of my family and ask the Holy Spirit to fill us. I spread the Blood of Jesus on all above, I cast the devil into hell away from all of us and consecrate all persons, in as far as I am able, to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart.
Prayer for Grace for Election and our Country

From the Priestly Newsletter Book III - Issue 3 2000
Henri de Lubac states: "The Church is a mysterious extension in time of the Trinity, not only preparing us for the life of unity but bringing about even now our participation in it. She comes from and is full of the Trinity. She is for us -- in a favourite phrase of Bossuet -- ‘Jesus Christ … communicated’. She is ‘the Incarnation continued.’ She is, as Dietrick Bonhoeffer used to say, ‘the presence of Christ on earth’ --- she speaks with ‘the authority of Christ living and present in her.’… St. Paul applies to her this same word ‘mystery’ which he had first used of Christ. She is after all, the spouse of Christ and his body."
Fr. Bruno Forte tells us: "The Church comes from the Trinity, reflects in itself the Trinitarian communion—oneness in diversity—and journeys toward the Trinity, to the final handing over of all things to Christ, so that he might hand them over to the Father and God might be all in all. As ‘a people gathered in the unity of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,’ the Church is the Church of the Father. In his universal salvific plan, God has willed it to be a sign and instrument of the unity of people among themselves and with him. It is the Church of the Son, who through his incarnation and the paschal mystery has placed it in history as His Body. It is the Church of the Spirit, who makes the Risen Christ present in human history and enriching the people of God with charisms and ministries, leads it toward the promised future goal."
The fact that the Church is here on earth a reflection of the Trinitarian Community easily leads us to reflect upon the Church as the Body of Christ, since this name given to the Church also emphasizes the communal aspect of the Church. St. Paul tells us: For as with the human body which is a unity although it has many parts -- all the parts of the body, though many, still making up one single body -- so it is with Christ. We were baptised into one body in a single Spirit, Jews as well as Greeks, slaves as well as free men, and we were all given the same Spirit to drink. And indeed the body consists not of one member but of many. If the foot were to say, ‘I am not a hand and so I do not belong to the body’, it does not belong to the body any the less for that. Or if the ear were to say, ‘I am not an eye, and so I do not belong to the body’, that would not stop its belonging to the body. If the whole body were just an eye, how would there be any hearing? If the whole body were hearing, how would there be any smelling?
Now Christ’s body is yourselves, each of you with a part to play in the whole. And those whom God has appointed in the Church are, first apostles, secondly prophets, thirdly teachers; after them, miraculous powers, then gifts of healing, helpful acts, guidance, various kinds of tongues. Are all of them apostles? Or all prophets? Or all teachers? Or all miracle-workers? Do all have the gifts of healing? Do all of them speak in tongues and all interpret them? (1 Cor 12:12-17; 27-30)
Some two thousand years ago Christ walked the earth teaching, healing the sick, forgiving sins, extending His mercy and kindness. By such a life which culminated in death and resurrection, Christ redeemed the world. This objective redemption was accomplished by Christ alone. Through it, He won for people of all time the necessary graces for their salvation and sanctification.
However, it is necessary that such graces be distributed to each individual as one plays out his or her part in the drama of human existence. Such a distribution of grace is the work of subjective redemption.
Jesus still walks the earth as the work of redemption continues. However, He now walks the earth according to a different type of existence. He does not walk the earth in His physical body, but rather in His Mystical Body, the Church, the People of God. Through the members of His Church, Christ continues to be present as He teaches, administers the sacraments, extends His mercy -- all done through the members of His Body, the Church. This mystical Christ, in turn, derives all supernatural power from Christ, the Head, who reigns gloriously with the Father and the Holy Spirit.
The Church, therefore, is the earthly continuation of Christ’s redemptive Incarnation. This mission which the Church has, although a great responsibility, is also a great privilege. In proportion as each Christian offers and commits himself or herself to Christ, the Church in her entirety more and more mirrors forth Christ to the world. This Christ, whom the Church portrays to the world, is the Christ who is Prophet, King and Priest.

WE NEED TO PRAY FOR THE
PRIEST, CHURCH AND THE WORLD.
Jesus told Fr. Carter!!
Please help me.
At the Transfiguration the Father said
“This is My beloved Son in whom
I am well pleased, listen to Him.”
Do we listen to Jesus?
Are we open for changing our
ways, so that, we do what the Father
is trying to tell us
through these writings?
The Church is Trinitarian.
The love of God is intimacy with,
and relationship with: Father, Son
and Holy Spirit.
Reality is as it is in God!!
Reach, open your minds, your
hearts to know God.
The Baltimore Catechism:
“We were created to know, love

Reach, reach … be open to God,
as He really is, to know Him,
to grow, to allow the body of
Christ to grow as it should.
The incarnation goes on in us.

Here are words from St. Claude La Columbière, one of the great apostles of devotion to the Heart of Christ. Speaking to Jesus, Claude says:
12You share my burdens,
You take them upon yourself.
You listen to me fondly when I tell you my troubles.
You never fail to lighten them.
I find You at all times and in all places.
You never leave me.
I will always find You wherever I go.Old age or misfortune will not cause You to abandon me.
You will never be closer to me than
When all seems to go against me.
No matter how miserable I may be,
You will never cease to be my friend. You tolerate my faults with admirable patience.
You are always ready to come to me, if I so desire it.Jesus, may I die praising you!
May I die loving you!
May I die for the love of you.

Father
Carter says, and I quote "through faith we share
in God's knowing activity in a special way, and
we are able to know God and creation in
relationship to God in a supernatural God-like
fashion".
"If we are to properly progress in the spiritual
life, we must allow this vision of faith to more
and more penetrate our activities. Increasingly,
we should become contemplative in action: we
should view reality in a way that is similar to
God's view of reality. Increasingly, everything
we see, should remind us of God, because
everything that is really good, and true and
beautiful does reflect God. The beauties of
nature, for example, manifest this beauty; the
raging storm at sea reflects his power; and the
goodness, the kindness, and the love that we
observe in others around us tell us that God is
infinitely good and kind and loving."

30 Years Ago Today
January 20, 1994 6:00 a.m.
Jesus: My child, hold My hand and know that I am with you at this moment. You do not need the busyness of Satan. He wants to stop your book, here, in any way possible. Hold tight and pray for strength. I am He Who loves you intently. I care for everything in your life. Anything that happens will strengthen you.
Sufferings are golden gems from heaven. When your life is tested, turn to Me. I am closest in your trials. Any person who is close to Me moves full steam ahead and does not become bogged down by Satan's distractions. He is out to distract you (read the message of January l8). I need your total commitment to Me. I need you with your feet in the air and not looking back with yearning for this worldly ground. Once you are out there on a limb, it is worse to crawl back and forth. I am supporting you in everything and you must know this is not a little work but very important to My plan. I will give you the strength you need to do all I want you to do but you must come to Me constantly.
None of what you do here makes sense in the eyes of this world. No one of the world understands one thing that is happening. Do not turn your eyes to people and their explanations. Turn your eyes trustingly to Me Who needs you to perform your work selflessly and without any questions. Do your job and do not question. Your mind is being engulfed by Satan's sea of doubt.
He will try to stop you any way he can. These letters will bring many of My people back to Me. Do not worry what or how this is happening or how they will reach people. I am Jesus and I am supporting all who are involved in this endeavor. I am defending you with My arms. I am your God and I loved you to My death. See Me with My arms outstretched in love of you! Keep focusing on My Passion. There is so much gained by meditating on My Passion.
My death and Resurrection are the redemption of all mankind. Focus on Me and My love for you. It is My love that will see you through all this.
Focus on Me and My love. Think of Me at My death. Remember My agony, all the blood I shed and the Passion I walked for love of you. Child, I love you this much this day. How can you ever doubt that anything I send you is not out of deepest love for you?
Focus on Me and My love and My work here. You must get both feet off the ground and move full steam ahead. Don't look back to the ground. I need your surrender totally to Me. I need your commitment totally to Me. I am the Way, the Truth and the Life.
In the end, it will be the things of Me and all that you did for My world that goes with you. All else here is of no account.
My work is your top priority. Your prayer life alone with Me is your utmost concern. You need to be with Me in front of the tabernacle. You need time alone with Me. Satan is going to try to trip you up. Do not focus on anything but the things of Me.
I come to you with such love. I am Jesus, who died for you. I have so much to give you. I will care for all the details in your life. Let go and surrender into My hands. When you worry, when you doubt, that is from Satan. You must be absolutely sure in Me and My work here.
Spend time with Me alone. Spend so much time with Me that you do not ever miss a moment of solitude with Me. Make Spiritual Communions all day. Do not ever take your eyes from Me. You need constant union with Me. Full steam ahead, total commitment, focus on My love for you--nothing else. Say the prayer for Union with Me and let your mind be engulfed in My love. Let go of every distraction and let Me in your heart to work.
Pray to the Holy Spirit for guidance. I am your God and I am so loving. I am Jesus Christ. I am truly here!
Glorious Mysteries
The Resurrection
1. Mark 16: 1-11
When the Sabbath was over, Mary of Magdala, Mary the mother of James, and Salome, bought spices with which to go and anoint him. And very early in the morning on the first day of the week they went to the tomb when the sun had risen.
They had been saying to one another, ‘Who will roll away the stone for us from the entrance to the tomb?’ But when they looked they saw that the stone—which was very big—had already been rolled back. On entering the tomb they saw a young man in a white robe seated on the right–hand side, and they were struck with amazement. But he said to them, ‘There is no need to be so amazed. You are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified: he has risen, he is not here. See, here is the place where they laid him. But you must go and tell his disciples and Peter, "He is going ahead of you to Galilee; that is where you will see him, just as he told you." ’ And the women came out and ran away from the tomb because they were frightened out of their wits; and they said nothing to anyone, for they were afraid.
Having risen in the morning on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary of Magdala from whom he had cast out seven devils. She then went to those who had been his companions, and who were mourning and in tears, and told them. But they did not believe her when they heard her say that he was alive and that she had seen him.

are the branches.
3. Branches cut off from the vine, do not

so that they also may be in us,
so that the world may believe it
was you who sent me.

The Ascension
1. Luke 24:50-53
Then he took them out as far as the outskirts of Bethany, and raising his hands he blessed them. Now as he blessed them, he withdrew from them and was carried up to heaven. They worshipped him and then went back to Jerusalem full of joy; and they were continually in the Temple praising God.

5. If we have this devotion to the
Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart,
we are helping ourselves to be more
united in the pure and holy Hearts
of Jesus and Mary as Mary asked
for at Fatima.
6. The world is in so much need of
prayer.
We pray for the priests, the Church
and the world.
7. Thank you for your willingness to
answer God‘s call and focusing on
the Word and praying for the priest,
the Church and the world with us.
8. May God bless you in your mission
of loving and serving God,
May the light of Christ shine on the
earth we live more holy lives in Him,
and in His Word.
9. We should respond enthusiastically
to Christ's call, to help build up the
kingdom of truth and love, of justice,
and that the peace of Christ is
spread on this earth.
10. We get our life from Jesus. He is
the vine. We are the branches. A
branch cannot bear grapes if it is
disconnected from the vine. We
cannot do anything without him.

The Descent of the Holy Spirit on the
Apostles
1. Acts 2: 1-4
When Pentecost day came round, they had all met together, when suddenly there came from heaven a sound as of a violent wind which filled the entire house in which they were sitting; and there appeared to them tongues as of fire; these separated and came to rest on the head of each of them. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak different languages as the Spirit gave them power to express themselves.
2. Sing: A Priest is a Gift from God
3. From Tell My People by Fr. Carter S.J.
Jesus: "My beloved friend, tell My people to pray daily to the Holy Spirit. They are to pray for an increase in His gifts. My people must realize that the Holy Spirit comes to transform them. The Spirit desires to transform you more and more according to My image. Those who are docile to His touch become increasingly shaped in My likeness. He performs this marvel within Mary's Immaculate Heart. The more one dwells in My Mother's Heart, the more active are the workings of the Spirit. The Spirit leads Mary to place you within My own Heart. In both Our Hearts, then, your transformation continues. The more you are formed after My own Heart, the more I lead you to the bosom of My Father. Tell My people all this. Tell them to pray daily for a greater appreciation of these wondrous gifts. I am Lord and Master. All who come to My Heart will be on fire to receive the gifts of the Spirit in ever greater measure! I love and bless My people!"
Reflection: The Holy Spirit is given to us to fashion us ever more according to the likeness of Jesus. And the more we are like Jesus, the more Jesus leads us to the Father. Do we, each day, pray to the Holy Spirit to be more open to His transforming influence? Do we strive each day to grow in union with Mary? The greater our union with our Mother, the spouse of the Holy Spirit, the greater is the transforming action of the Holy Spirit within us.
4. Mark 4:3
'Listen! Imagine a sower going out to sow.
God help our hearts to be pure,
rooted in You.
5. Sing: Dwelling Place
6. Sing: Come Holy Ghost
7. Matthew 13:33
He told them another parable, 'The kingdom of Heaven is like the yeast a woman took and mixed in with three measures of flour till it was leavened all through.'
Help us grow in holiness.
Help us be united.
Pray to the Holy Spirit.
8. Mark 4:24
He also said to them, 'Take notice of what you are hearing. The standard you use will be used for you -- and you will receive more besides;
9. Mathew 13:47
'Again, the kingdom of Heaven is like a dragnet that is cast in the sea and brings in a haul of all kinds of fish.
10. Prayer from Saint Ignatius
Lord, teach me to be generous.
Teach me to serve you as you deserve;
To give and not to count the cost;
To fight and not to heed the wounds;
To toil and not to seek for rest;
To labor and not to ask for any reward,
Save that of knowing
that I am doing your will.
The Assumption
1. R. Mary went,
body and soul, into heaven.
2. Sing: Immaculate Mary
3. R. Heaven is our true home.
4. R. Mary remained on this earth after Jesus left — She was a great intercessor and the Church grew — pray through the intercession of Mary. And we cannot imagine even a minute amount of the treasure that waits for us when we are joined in such intense union with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit for ever and ever in the courts of Heaven.
5. R. He wants to outpour His grace to us in such abundance. The richest source of grace, unless He chooses to give us a special grace, is in going to the Eucharist. He calls us to come and to be with Him in front of the Tabernacle for He truly outpours His grace to us in such abundance.
6. Jesus: I love each one of you so dearly. This day I call out to you to let go, to release all hatred, anger, any hardness that is in your heart. Make your hearts pure. You cannot unite with My Heart if there is any taint of anger and hatred in your heart. Only love can unite with love. Love does not unite with hate. I ask you this day to rid yourselves, to trade any bitterness or anger that you have in your heart for love. I will abundantly pour out My grace for you to love if you ask Me. Keep your hearts ever pure for your face reflects what is inside. What comes forth from your mouth is what is in your heart. If your hearts are filled with love, your face and your speech will be loving. If there is hatred or anger in your heart, what comes forth from your mouth is what is in your heart. I want to be close to you. You must let go. Let go! Let your hearts be pure! Let your souls be white! I want to unite with you as a spouse with His bride. Let go! Let go! Let go!
7. Jesus: Let go to the marriage of our souls! You should want a pure soul. Get rid of anything that is stopping you from union with Me. The smallest sins offend Me. Admit what you do and say you are sorry. Do not harbor any sins in your hearts. I want to be so close to you and share My life and My love with you. You are My precious ones, come to Me. Let Me love you!
8. Song: See the Eyes That Look at Mary
9. Jesus: Mary is your beloved Mother. She leads you on your journey and loves you dearly. She forever walks by your side. My dear children, your Mother is so close to you. Ask her to lead you ever closer to My Sacred Heart.
10. R. Mary, who held the child Jesus, who raised Him, who walked with Him all through the Passion, who saw His glorified body and saw Him as He ascended into heaven, knows the Heart of Jesus. He loves His Mother so dearly. There is such oneness between His Heart and Her Heart. He calls out to us to come to His Heart, to the tender pure and loving heart of His beloved Mother. He wants us to go to her. He loves her dearly. It is she who will place us ever so gently in the deepest recesses of His Heart.
Song between decade: Come Holy Spirit, fill our hearts...
The Queenship of Mary
Sing: Hail Holy Queen
1. R. There appeared in the sky a woman clothed as the sun, the moon was under her feet and there were 12 stars about her head.
2. R. The new Eve! It is through Mary that we will be formed more and more on our spiritual journey into a deeper union with Jesus.
3. R. Mary is Jesus' Mother. Mary is our Mother. Mary is the Mother of the Church. She will lead us on our spiritual journey as we become closer to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
4. R. It is in modeling ourselves after the Virgin Mary, she whose heart is sinless, that we will be joined closer to God.
5. R. We pray these mysteries of the rosary to know more and more about the lives of Jesus and Mary - from the young Mary to the old Mary - from the joyful Mary to the sorrowful Mary - the life of Mary all through this rosary. She truly lived with Jesus His whole life and she will lead us ever closer to His Most Sacred Heart.
6. Song: Immaculate Mary
7. R. The Two Hearts of tremendous love — Mary and Jesus! The Sacred Heart of Jesus will reign and Mary's Heart will be triumphant. Her heart was pierced with a sword. His Heart was pierced with a lance. It is through Their two Hearts that we will grow in our union with God.
8. R. We will, one day, be with God forever in heaven. No more sorrow, no more tears, no more thirsting and longing in our hearts. All of the thirsting that we have will be satisfied.
Song: May the Angels lead you into Paradise
9. R. We need union with Jesus. Jesus wants to join with us in love. The Father created each one of us so uniquely with a special plan. They call out to us this day to spread the love of God into this world, into all the dark corners, to spread this light. Will we answer? Will we realize more and more that Jesus is in this room and that not one person is in this room by accident? You are being called by Jesus and Mary to this room to listen to the messages that were delivered from Them to you today. Jesus says that He will speak to every person that comes into this room during the rosary if they will open up their hearts. These messages were delivered to you from Jesus and Mary. Take them into your hearts and ask the Spirit to lead you more and more. Pray to know the Father's Will — Seek His Will — Do it!! It is in doing His Will that we will have peace, love and joy.
10. Mary: My dear little children, I am your Mother Mary and I am with you at this moment. You are my soldiers to go into this world and to spread the love of my Son. Will you say 'No' to your Mother? Please, please answer my call this day. Make your hearts pure. For it is only in a pure heart that you will be able to spread the love of my Son to this world.

Guiding Light homily series — Reflect on the Word — Cycle B The Word leaves an impression on our souls. In my thoughts and reflections are born a more tangible understanding of these eternal concepts presented in the Gospels and the readings. Anyone can read a sentence, but not anyone can absorb it's true meaning. Truth, in this day and age, is almost a matter of opinion or individual entitlement. We believe that Christ's truth is our Roman Catholic Church. We, as priests, champion it's teachings; we are ambassadors for the Pope and Christ to those faces looking at us. We are the light by which our congregation reads to reflect upon real truth and we do it hand in hand. $10 |
Guiding Light homily series — Steadfast to the Son — Cycle A The sunflower is a great example of how we should be steadfastly guided by light. What a powerful thought that this exceptional plant is not stuck in one pose day in and day out, yet adaptable and magnetized to the sun. We feel the same about our Son. Our heads turns to face Christ as each day presents its challenges to find light. We join together like plants in a field and soak up the Son through the pulpit. We are a warm circle of strength using the wind of our breath to carry our priests' words, Christ's words, to new rich soil. $10 |
Guiding Light — Focusing on the Word — Cycle B At times we may feel that our path to Christ is a bit "out of focus". Like the disciples in the Book of Mark, this ordinary life clouds our vision of Christ's Divinity. We may doubt the practicality or possibility of applying His teachings and example to our modern life. Cycle B's homilies are a "guiding light" to help us realize Jesus' Messianic greatness and His promise of better things to come. $10 |
Guiding Light — Feed My Soul — Cycle C In a world rapidly advancing and encouraging personal gain, we are faced with modern problems. There is a challenge to find time in our busy schedules for Sunday Mass or a family meal. We are able to research, shop, bank and even work without hearing one human voice. It is no wonder that we may often feel disconnected and famished at our week's end. In Fr. Joe's third book of homilies from Cycle C, we are reminded of the charity that Christ intended us to show each other. We have a calling to turn the other cheek and be the Good Samaritan to others. We are rewarded with the Father's kingdom and love when we are not worthy. We are not left alone or hungry. $10 |
