R. A man can be so good at doing things we say he
has mastered the art. A basketball player that plays
basketball with rhythm and harmony and knows
how to work with others to master the game can
have a real art about all he does.
Likewise there are great golfers and great musicians
that work with such harmony and rhythm and
expertise they just excel above others at their great
gift and have developed the art of that discipline.
Doctors and teachers, homemakers and artists
can excel with such harmony and rhythm – they
just know how to do it the right way.
We can see human actions and a man knowing
how to act prudently in what he chooses to do,
in how he acts and in excelling in the art of
acting the right and prudent way as God wants.
We have a life time to choose how we act in
our relationships with others and bring growth
and honor to the vocation God has called us to.
Like Pope John Paul II who showed the gift God gave
him to act the right way – to act to bring growth
and peace to Poland and grow in love and
help the other countries there and in the world.
One man can do so much when he is acting with
God's might behind him – when his will is the will
of God and his energy is positive energy in acting
according to God's will – in God's timing – in God's way –
in God's plan for him - with God's might.
Learning to act in the right way as God wants –
takes the Might of God and God's grace, but it
takes saying yes – year after year - yes to
believing in God's might – yes to His will,
yes to loving God and all men, yes to positive
energy – yes to hoping in all our actions to
gaining life eternal with God for ourselves and
helping others to hope for eternal life in their actions.
Or we can see through the tainted eyes of envy
and not love – of jealousy and not love –
of anger and not the joy of knowing God and
of pride always seeing oneself above everyone
even God. And these ways of acting according
to the wounded human nature are practiced
for 30, 40, 50 years. A man can spend his life
acting pridefully, jealous of his brothers,
full of envy and anger and when God blesses
him he doesn't act the right way. And the
darkness he has chosen to oppose God's law
of love and virtue is almost clouded by
years and years of not working with others
but seeking separation, isolation, pushing
people away or even tricking them to send
them away because of lies and deception –
then feeling sorry for themselves when they treat
others in unloving ways opposed to God's will.
Like Jesus says, "It takes a lot of negative
energy to oppose God's will."
A person that opposes God's will invites satan
to come and play in their lives and satan
is not nice.
Prudence helps a man to choose well
his actions. Justice helps a man to pay his
debts and to see that he gives to others, while he
is alive, their due and gives to the building of
future generations. A prudent man chooses
a good way to do what must be done – he
doesn't use evil to do his job. Prudence
means a man acts according to God's order –
in love. Prudence demands rightness
of intention in an act. A man with
justice can judge rightly on how to act.
If a man is unjust he can find it
very difficult to judge how to be.
Man was created in the image and likeness
of God. Man is to seek truth and perform
good acts with the goal of eternal happiness
and with right reasoning. Man is to
grow more and more in love and virtue
and knowledge. In baptism man's knowing
and loving capacity is elevated. Man is
to live virtuously – not live a life of
pride, anger, greed, envy, lust,
gluttony,
and sloth.
God created this marvelous world with
order. One who opposes God's will is choosing
disorder – is distancing themselves from God.
Repeated actions of
pride, greed, envy,
wrath, lust,
gluttony,
and sloth
become vices and bad habits in which a
man can base his actions in evil and
thus distance himself further and further
from God as he does not repent or tell
himself the truth about his wrong doing.
God is absolute truth. The virtues
help us to know the truth and act as
God wants us to act. Man is to be
good and to be loving.
Virtue is the Principle of Unity.
The more one works with others in unity –
the stronger they become in one good and
holy work.
The devil is division. In order for us to be
strong we need to work together to achieve
a common goal. Our goal in the Shepherds of Christ
are helping to renew the Church and the world.
To pray united during retreats and on the 5ths
and 13ths to bring down great grace
for the whole world.
8 Days of Prayer
R. God calls us to be one body in the Church
with Christ the head.
Man is in the pursuit of happiness.
His reasoning is to be according to what
God wants.
His goal is ultimately –> good actions to
attain eternal salvation.
When men are divided they will not
work in growth to bring unity
as God wants to the world.
Men of independence and isolation are
not working in unity when they
insist on having their own way
and working alone and don't get
along with anyone –
refuse to recognize authority and
refuse correction –
This is a prescription for failure.
Virtues help men to rely on God and to
respect and work with each other under God.
The deadly sins, divide and make enemies of
each other –
pride, greed, envy, wrath,
lust,
gluttony,
and sloth.
Man is called to the vision of God –
we need to live the virtuous life –
God commands us to love God first and
to love others as ourselves.
God does not deceive – nor can He be
deceived –
God knows the ways of a man's
heart –
Temperance is a virtue that regulates
and helps men not to give into
the wounded human nature –
A man needs the virtues to pursue happiness.
Faith, Hope and Love – These are the theological virtues.
Temperance, prudence, justice and
fortitude – These are the Cardinal Virtues.
Humility
The Cardinal Virtues help a man to
choose good actions according
to God's will –
with relationships to God, oneself and others.
The Cardinal virtues help a man in
the pursuit of good.
Oh that a man would live virtuously
and not give into deadly habits
of the deadly sins.
All 4 of the Cardinal Virtues are necessary.
God calls man to the vision of Himself.
In elevating man's knowing and loving
capacity in baptism one is capable of
knowing and loving supernaturally.
Man needs the virtues to be what he is
supposed to be.
God calls us to act the right way –
A leader is to show other men by
his actions to act the right way.
A man who is called to be a leader
is doing God's will in telling
men how to act the right way.
A man who is acting the right way –
has eternal happiness as his goal.
This brings joy to the heart to be creature
in union with the Creator and
living in love as God intends –
acting the right way.
Acting the right way sets you free.
A leader who corrects those under
them acting the wrong way is
leading them to freedom.
The virtuous man lives life to a
deep level. He has a goal, he knows
what God is calling him to and
he knows how to get there doing God's
will in love with right reasoning and
acting the right way.
Why would God want a man to follow satan
and act the wrong way –
Satan appeals to a man's pride –
He tells him if he acts the right way
he is not free –
The passions need to be controlled
by right reasoning.
God wants us to see the vision of God.
God wants to lead us to the virtuous life.
To do what God wants we have to
surrender and allow ourselves
to be led by God.
God has given us the gifts and
fruits and beatitudes.
The Holy Spirit wants to possess our soul.
From the Prayer Manual
Holy Spirit Prayer
Come, Holy Spirit, almighty Sanctifier, God of love, who filled the Virgin Mary with grace, who wonderfully changed the hearts of the apostles, who endowed all Your martyrs with miraculous courage, come and sanctify us. Enlighten our minds, strengthen our wills, purify our consciences, rectify our judgment, set our hearts on fire, and preserve us from the misfortunes of resisting Your inspirations. Amen.
R. How offensive to God when He gives us
so much and we turn our backs to
Him and follow satan.
Remember in the Garden, Adam and Eve were
given such gifts from God and
they sinned because they were
prideful and wanted to be equal
to God.
R. Piety guides our relations with God and
with men.
In fear of God we don't want to offend
God by the slightest sin because we
love Him so much. This helps us to not
give into disordered impulses due to anger,
jealousy, envy, pride etc.
We can never, never deceive God
with our deception.
Can you realize how much energy it
takes to oppose God through holding
out, deception, lying, false pretense, willfulness–
When the Holy Spirit is one with us we know
His Might behind us moving the bolder in
our path as we live to do God's will.
Doing God's will takes God's grace and His
help.
When there is a void in our hearts – where
we have in the past given into vices,
bad habits, deadly sins – it is
easy for the devil to tempt a man to
stay in darkness and distance from God.
When the Holy Spirit possess the soul, when the
man lives in oneness with God – God
is at the front of his actions because
he lives to serve his Beloved, he lives
to please God, to love God, to be sorry
if he offends God with the slightest sin
and to make amends, as not to hurt
his relationship and union with God
and with men. Sin that men deny
is misery and darkness for them.
The devil works in the man with out sorrow
for his sin – to tempt him into deeper
and deeper misery and darkness
and the only way to even begin to come
out of this is to admit the truth
and repent of the sin.
Why would a man who really says he
loves God – go deeper and deeper
into sin and lie to keep covering
up his part in deception and
evil done to others.
It was seen in the movie War Room
how the man was tempted to do more and
greater sins. He was given a great grace
from God through his wife's prayers
and love to turn back to being honest
and confess a very deep seated crime
which could send him to prison,
but he wanted to come clean and be
truthful.
Jesus says the truth will set you
free.
The Holy Spirit can fill the hole in our
soul with the love of God. Our being
can be possessed more and more by
God, but we have to quit sinning
in habits that offend God and others
and come clean – repent of the sin.
God gave us the means to come clean
of our sins. We are not to deceive
those over us or play games for power
games. Sin is serious business,
but far worse, Bishop Sheen says, is the
person that won't admit their sin and
turn away from it.
The Holy Spirit can give us His gifts so
we love God 24/7 – God is the center
of our lives. God is our beloved.
The man who is performing his actions
according to God's will is seeing his
actions as a goal to his eternal
salvation. His life is living virtuously
hoping and loving. His will is
focused on God's will.
When we do God's will we don't measure
whether the thing God calls us to is
difficult or easy. We just do
what God wants us to do.
We don't base our actions on the deadly
sins of jealousy, envy, pride
and anger –
Our actions are based on doing God's
will – not on how hard they are,
not on what other people think –
To oppose God's will, Jesus says, takes
a lot of energy and to hold out –
satan can keep a person down
by their own choice to serve
satan and oppose God's will.
The Holy Spirit wants to possess our
soul and give us His gifts.
The Holy Spirit gives us the gift of fortitude
to be strong against temptation.
If we really live the Christ-life we
are living with the constant desire
of hope for eternal salvation and
being fired up to lead other men
to their eternal salvation.
God lives in the graced baptized
soul – Our soul is a temple of the Holy Spirit.
We possess God most intimately
in our being.
We trust to God's promise to us for
those who love and serve the Lord as
God desires.
God gives us His Word. God feeds
the life we receive in baptism with
the bread of life – the Eucharist
and the Word. This is joy to know
this intimacy with God.
The further we are from God, the
more we let jealousy and envy and
anger and pride rule our actions –
the more we walk in darkness and
the misery of unrepented sin. This
distancing ourselves from God makes
us darker and darker and more and
more angry inside.
God is so awesome. God loves us
so much. God has called us to be
holy, likened to Him. Jesus paid
a precious price for us. Jesus is
Our Savior.
Unrepented sin makes a person
miserable, lying and deception, secrets
is the game of satan.
God is light – God is real –
Our eternal salvation forever
depends on our life and how
we choose to love God and love
our neighbor as ourselves.
We see in our forefather's their
faith and how their holy lives contributed
to the lives of so many centuries
later.
Only love can help us be close to God.
God is love! We are to imitate Christ
in our actions. Christ did the Father's
will to His death on the cross.
Baptism means we are marked for
Christ. God wants us to live holy lives.
We are God's child. Jesus is our Savior.
No person can save us – Jesus is our Savior.
Thank You God we can be united and
join together in love –
Dear God outpour Your love and
grace to us –
Dear God touch us with Your love.
Dear God help us to live in the way
You want us to live.
Dear God - You want us holy – You
are the God of all creation –
help us to live as children of
our heavenly Father.
We offer our lives as a sacrifice to God –
living as God's children – in obedience
to the Father's will –
Lifting up our hearts and being an example
of love before God and man.
God is light. God is love – We were
created in the image and likeness
of God –
Genesis 1: 26-27
God said, ‘Let us make man in our own image, in the likeness of ourselves, and let them be masters of the fish of the sea, the birds of heaven, the cattle, all the wild animals and all the creatures that creep along the ground.’
God created man in the image of himself,
in the image of God he created him,
male and female he created them.
Mary said:
My soul proclaims the greatness
of the Lord and my spirit rejoices
in God my Savior.
R. The Mass is the sacrifice of Calvary,
sacramentally made present. God gives
us the Mass, the sacraments, the font of
His life, Jesus gives us His Body and Blood
to feed this life.
Oh God let us adore You –
Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
R. Jesus takes away the sins of the world.
We are not worthy to receive Jesus.
Dear God cloth us in light –
lead us from the darkness –
Bath us in Your marvelous light –
God Your love is constant –
You are love –
We want to be children of the light –
God give us Your gifts for
all our needs.
Holy Spirit come and dwell in us –
Bathe us in Your light, God –
Holy Spirit give us the vision of the Heavenly Father –
Open the font of Your grace –
God we pray – fill us with light!
God give us what we need to be as
You desire us to be and to do
Your will –
God we want to operate in Your Might.
We are the salt of the earth –
Matthew 5: 13
‘You are salt for the earth. But if salt loses its taste, what can make it salty again? It is good for nothing, and can only be thrown out to be trampled under people’s feet.
R. Dear God help us to be compassionate and
loving and merciful –
help us to be just.
Justice and peace will kiss.
Dear God help me to know Your presence
within me – in my every breath –
in all my actions –
Help me never to live a life of deception
or playing a game where You
want me to be a witness to You.
Oh God Your presence is so good
I long for Thee – God.
God is light
God is love –
In God there is no darkness at all –
Given January 8, 2016
Jesus: My way is the way of light, of unity, of forgiveness,
of being responsible for wrongs done to others
in unloving ways.
I call people to commitment in their vocation
and those being called to a vocation put their
hands in the hands of others. So the person
who is a leader is to be growing in holiness
to give a good example to those under them.
They have a responsibility to God to be growing
more and more in My image and likeness. I
paid the price with My life to teach you
about holiness. My Mother, the perfect handmaid
of the Lord, showed you in love and perfection
how to be. She loved, she gave, she loved the
Father's will – she was sinless.
When you consecrate your hearts to Jesus
and Mary – you give yourselves to Our Hearts,
to be led, to walk in holiness, to live in love,
to live in love according to the Father's will –
to build for the souls, I died for,
I laid down My life for the souls. I
gave My all for the souls, I give Myself
now to you in love in the Eucharist.
I am the Good Shepherd, I laid down My
life for the flock. Yes the man who is selfish
doesn't give in love for the souls, he
lives in anger, and darkness, jealousy,
envy and pride and he gives less
and less from his heart. He is of such
a disposition he doesn't want to – give
and take – with anybody. He can live his
life building walls to be alone and
the more he gives into jealousy, the more
he begins to hate his brothers. A way of life
can be a way in which a person lives
in jealousy and envy and anger and
pride – expecting others to make them happy –
so they try to force others in relationships
that are slavishly dependent and dark.
They can be a person who does not give, but
hurts others and expects others to go down
to their darkness by unloving acts, but
they use things as force to make others
go to their way – they take what is dear
to them, what they need to do God's will, survival
things and then try to control what they need
to force their ways –
holding out – a child can hold their
breath at such an early age so parents
don't put them to bed, to get their way
they pout, when they become adults they
can be very isolated – looking for a
place to not change and continue their
dark, childish ways.
I call leaders to lead in holy ways,
a person has a responsibility with leadership
to grow more and more as I showed them –
to grow in love – to maintain order and
structure – to love means to give for the
good of the other – so they can grow to be
holy – so the men together can work for
the building of the Kingdom of God
Trust is a big thing among dysfunction –
the devil tempts the person to not work
by trusting anyone and fear of
abandonment keeps them trying to
keep someone in a relationship that is
dysfunctional and slavishly dependent.
I have called you to the light – Only in
living in love with others are you raised
up. A person that trusts and loves no
one life long – has all kinds of ways
they use to keep themselves that way.
They are not a leader to show
people love. Who wants to come and
be wrapped in a web of unloving
ways from darkness.
Hell is total darkness, total isolation –
you were created to be lifted up – to have
new life – to learn to lay down your lives
in the building of My Kingdom.
To lead others to the light – to work
in unity and love in Our Two Hearts
of Pure and Perfect Love.
A person who wears a title, a
person who wears a habit and tells
the world they are a person of Christ, the
Spouse of Christ is to be a person
living to be more and more like Me –
Giving is where I laid down My life
I love for the souls –
I gave My all –
I loved the souls to My death –
John 10: 11-15
I am the good shepherd:
the good shepherd lays down his life
for his sheep.
The hired man,
since he is not the shepherd
and the sheep do not belong to him,
abandons the sheep
as soon as he sees a wolf coming,
and runs away,
and then the wolf attacks
and scatters the sheep;
he runs away
because he is only a hired man
and has no concern for the sheep.
I am the good shepherd;
I know my own
and my own know me,
just as the Father knows me
and I know the Father;
and I lay down my life for my sheep.
Jesus: So when you die and stand before God –
you are prepared in love, love of God,
love of oneself, love of others to enter
the Kingdom of Perfect love –
Jesus taught you to pray:
"Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven"
Do you know a leader has a bigger and
bigger responsibility to teach love and
advance in My image and likeness?
Being in the dark is like a blind man –
he is in the dark and can't see –
day long – he can't see – and he has to
make do in the darkness –
No man can call himself a Christian,
Christ-like and live in the darkness
of self-enclosure, bitterness, unforgiveness,
envy, jealousy, remorse, despair,
anger, pride, slothfulness.
Your role in life is to live to be
Christ-like. Religious were called
by Me to be My Spouse – that isn't
a "Me and them" relationship – they become
more selfish and call themselves leaders,
wear a habit and fight with authority
and disobey.
I called religious to be examples –
live in holiness, be willing to die for
the souls – love their brothers.
What a paradox – to live in
darkness and call oneself a leader
for Christ –
I am the Good Shepherd –
I died for My flock –
I laid down My life for the souls –
Priestly Newsletter Book II - September/October 1997
In all this Mary offers an example. Selfishness was totally foreign to her. She did not belong to herself. She belonged to God. She was not closed in upon herself. She was completely open to God. When God spoke, she listened. When God pointed the way, she followed. She realized that life is not a process a person masters by carefully mapping out one's own self-conceived plans of conquest, but a mystery to be gradually experienced by being open to God's personal and loving guidance.
Selfishness, then, did not close Mary off from God's call. Neither did fear. God asked her to assume a tremendous responsibility. He asked her to be the Mother of Jesus. Mary did not engage in a process of false humility and say that such a great role was above her. She did not say that she did not have the proper qualifications for this awesome mission. Briefly, she did not waste time looking at herself, making pleas that she was not worthy, telling the angel he had better go look for someone else. No, Mary did not look at herself. Her gaze was absorbed in God. She fully realized that whatever God asked of her, His grace would accomplish. She fully realized that although she herself had to cooperate, this work was much more God's than hers.
Mary's words, then, truly sum up what is the authentic Christian response at any point of life, in any kind of situation: "I am the handmaid of the Lord," said Mary, "let what you have said be done to me".
Jesus: Living 50 years perfecting darkness is
not being likened to Christ.
The Church, the world and the individual
Christian are to live in the light –
to live to be witnesses to the light
themselves –
A person that has made relationships
slavishly dependent by force is
walking in darkness –
To grow in virtue one must ask the
Holy Spirit to possess their hearts and souls –
They are men of love – so the Holy Spirit can
come and work in them – work in the
gifts – bring light to their soul –
A man closed down in envy and jealousy
pride and anger is walking in darkness –
is usually unaccountable for their
deeds done to others and in pride listens
to satan telling them they are above –
others are down.
When I give a grace to a soul, how
do you reach a soul that chooses
envy, jealousy, darkness, pride
life long. Satan is at work in the
hearts of darkness – A man of pride
doesn't tell himself the truth about
his pride –
It is the Garden again –
The Shepherds of Christ was given by God the Father –
where men are to consecrate their hearts
and lives to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart
to dwell in the pure and holy Hearts of
Mary and My Heart and to live
a life of love.
Be witnesses to the Word of God
Be witnesses to the Christ-life within them –
It is to be built in structure and order –
where the might behind the women and
men is to be the Might of God –
the Holy Spirit moving in light in the hearts –
renewing the face of the earth –
It is to be exemplary of the holiness
of Mary so I called Servants and
Handmaids of the Good Shepherd –
Where the love for My Movement
was to be where men – laid
down their lives in love – teaching love
and My way to others – bringing
new and vibrant life and light to
others.
I am the Good Shepherd, I laid
down My life for My flock. The
Holy Spirit brings the fire of God's love –
operating in the gifts of wisdom,
counsel, fear of the Lord, understanding
bring unity and love to all men –
When you are called to leadership you
are responsible for bad example and
trying to force darkness on others –
To those much has been given,
much will be expected – hurting
others in unloving ways is from
satan – using My gifts for darkness
will be seen in how My souls I
died for suffered –
I am the Light of the World –
A man walking for Christ – walks
in the light and he is not living
in darkness, control, anger,
jealousy, envy, pride –
How dark is your dark when
you have used 365 days to live
the deadly sins over years and
years and years.
Hell is total isolation and
darkness –
What is a worse shame is a man
sins and then denies it –
I am a God of Mercy –
I have called you to be holy –
to confess your sins with a firm
purpose of amendment, to turn
away from those sins and to
make reparation for your sins –
This is My rule – The man of darkness
that gives the example to others, before
others and calls themselves a leader
for Christ is hurting the souls –
I laid down My life for –
I came
I gave
I built –
I was bloodied
I died for My precious souls –
You will be sorry when you continue
to call yourself a Christian leader
and lead men in your dark ways –
I am Jesus –
I have called you to obedience to My
way, the will of My Heavenly
Father and to love –
I have called you to make Me
the King and Center of your
hearts in Consecration –
Don't be a hypocrite and
use Christianity for your
pompous pride before men –
My way is purity –
So shall you sow – so shall you reap
Consecration to Our Two Hearts means
a life of purity –
of dying to your ways unlike
Christ and rising to new life
in Me –
Act of consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
and the Immaculate Heart of Mary
"Lord Jesus, Chief Shepherd of the flock, I consecrate myself to Your most Sacred Heart. From Your pierced Heart the Church was born, the Church You have called me, as a member of Shepherds of Christ Associates, to serve in a most special way. You reveal Your Heart as a symbol of Your love in all its aspects, including Your most special love for me, whom You have chosen as Your companion in this most important work. Help me to always love You in return. Help me to give myself entirely to You. Help me always to pour out my life in love of God and neighbor! Heart of Jesus, I place my trust in You!
"Dear Blessed Virgin Mary, I consecrate myself to your maternal and Immaculate Heart, this Heart which is symbol of your life of love. You are the Mother of my Savior. You are also my Mother. You love me with a most special love as a member of Shepherds of Christ Associates, a movement created by your Son as a powerful instrument for the renewal of the Church and the world. In a return of love, I give myself entirely to your motherly love and protection. You followed Jesus perfectly. You are His first and perfect disciple. Teach me to imitate you in the putting on of Christ. Be my motherly intercessor so that, through your Immaculate Heart, I may be guided to an ever closer union with the pierced Heart of Jesus, Chief Shepherd of the flock."
Jesus: If it is of God it will last
and you are
fighting My Might

Dear Friends,
I give my heart to Jesus and Mary with you in love.
If you read Fr. Joe's book like I did on the 13th you can see how awesome it is.
It helps me understand what is happening in the writings during the liturgical year.
It is so very good, it makes me so eager to live the liturgy in my life,
live in the liturgical year.Well we have sent over 13,000 of Fr. Joe's new cycle books since the beginning of November to priests and hierarchy
all over the world. It can enrich so many lives with the weekly sermon rooted in the Word, the Eucharist,
the liturgy,
the Mass,Baptism, love and unity.
When a priest uses the book weekly he focuses on the Bread of Life to feed the people.
Say a priest says 4 or 5 Masses weekly
Think of how many souls could be reached with the people attending Mass.Fr. Joe speaks of love and being a member of the body of Christ, living in relationships
all in the context of the scripture. We see salvation history and its ups and downs -
we see our calling from God
and we see our part in salvation history.God calls - we respond.

What are you doing to help this coming election in the United States.
This book of Fr. Joe's can help so many people every week.
We have sent over 13,000 books out to priests and hierarchy to every priest in your state.
We have sent the books to so many priests in the United States and all Bishops.
Can't you help us.
We also send a Prayer Brochure with the Shepherds of Christ prayers praying for the priests, the Church and the world.
We pray in adoration 8 days a month with usually 6 Masses for you, your family and the priests the Church and the world.
