January 30th Holy Spirit Novena |
The Novena Rosary
Mysteries |
Pray for Chuck & other intentions.
Consecration Prayer for Peace
I consecrate Russia and the Ukraine to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
I further consecrate the priests, the Church and the world to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary.
I do this in the name of Jesus in as far as I am able, united to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, praying to the Father, in the Holy Spirit, with all the angels and saints and the souls in purgatory through the powerful intercession of Mary, Queen of Peace. Amen.
I further consecrate myself, all members of my family and ask the Holy Spirit to fill us. I spread the Blood of Jesus on all above, I cast the devil into hell away from all of us and consecrate all persons, in as far as I am able, to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart.
Prayer for Grace for Election and our Country
Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our president and leaders. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.
January 29, 2023
Love is helping, loving
others first before oneself.
Even in anger giving
oneself to save another,
if it is the will of God
Jesus gave Himself to help
us live.
Jesus gives us the
Eucharist, the Bread of life.
Anger eats us, it hurts us.
It’s like sticking a knife in
ourselves.
You need to forgive others.
Admit the anger for
parents, admit the truth
and forgive them.
Lack of forgiveness, keeps
us bound, keeps us in the
past, we are not free, but
bound, projecting that
anger on innocent others.
Jesus wore the wounds for
our sins, their sins.
Why go backward,
punishing ourselves and
others, denying the truth
about our sins, anger
grows, a lifetime of lies,
pushing down the truth.
Love, forgives or we hold
ourselves hostage carrying
the anger- life, long, lying
about our hearts, denying
the truth.
Love gives, it comes from
an open heart, a heart that
goes out to others, a heart
free to be in relationship
with others, in unity and
peace.
The rainbow is a miracle, it
is beautiful, aurora borealis is
beautiful, a beauty from
God.
God gives us so much and
how do we obey his laws?
When we sin, we offend
God.
God is love and in Him is no
darkness.
Love respects others and
cares for them.
Love is not selfish and
isolated.
Love unites with others.
Love is relationship.
We get one chance at this
life to love.
We can say yes, then we
must open ourselves to
others.
Heaven is for lovers.
Heaven is real.
Heaven is beyond anything
we could imagine.
Love is kind and beautiful,
love cares for the other.
Jesus shows us love, He gave
Himself for love of us.
Love opens oneself to
relationship with others, it’s
not held bound in a box
with anger and hatred and
unforgiveness.
A heart like this, bound in
anger, hatred,
unforgiveness
Is not free, and cannot give.
We have relationships of
unity in heaven
How can you get to heaven
if you refuse to have
significant relationships
here below.
It’s all about people, love,
relationships, with God and
others.
The world does not begin
and end in one man’s head.
Love goes on, even when
others die.
We have a memory, our life
on earth dies, love doesn’t
end.
Jesus would die for us
today.
Jesus gives us Himself in
the Eucharist.
Heaven is for lovers, it’s
eternal love.
Love in heaven is beyond
anything we know, forever.
God is love.
Heaven is for lovers.
There is all kinds of
relationships.
We are United to each
other in God’s family.
We are not isolated
individuals, independents-
to think this is not true, we
are United in God’s
family!!!!
We need to beg God to
forgive us for our sins, sin
offends God. Jesus paid
the price for our sins.
When we beg to be
forgiven for our sins, and
are sorry with a firm
purpose of amendment,
our sins are taken away.
Clearwater, Clear- water.
We will see all our acts of
love we gave to others,
One life effects others and
their children and their
children, we are one in
the family of the Father.
January 30, 2023
This goes with following rosary.
Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
God so loved the world, that for he who believes in Him, will have eternal life.
Jesus has power over
the wind and the sea,
and they obey Him.
So we know God has all
the power, Pope John Paul
II said, ”Be not afraid”.
What we need is trust in
God.
We need to open our
hearts to God, God is
teaching us today.
Disciples are listeners.
God gives us the Word
to know God.
We must listen to Him.
We need to be open
and ask the Holy Spirit
to inspire us and help
us, fill us.From the Prayer Manual
Prayer to Holy Spirit
Come, Holy Spirit, almighty Sanctifier, God of love, who filled the Virgin Mary with grace, who wonderfully changed the hearts of the apostles, who endowed all Your martyrs with miraculous courage, come and sanctify us. Enlighten our minds, strengthen our wills, purify our consciences, rectify our judgment, set our hearts on fire, and preserve us from the misfortunes of resisting Your inspirations. Amen.
God is heavenly.
In baptism God gives us
a sharing in His
knowing and loving
capacity.
In baptism we receive
the supernatural virtues
of Faith, Hope and Charity.
Supernatural above
what is natural, beyond.
Jesus is the way, the
truth and the life.
God is absolute truth.
God the Father has a
Plan for our lives.
We want greater life in
God.
Grace is His life in us.
We must live humbly,
meekly, virtuously.
The devil wants us to
give into our wounded
human nature, if we
have been baptized.
God put us in His
Family. He wants us to
be in heaven with Him
forever, someday,
eternally.
We must follow Him.
The scripture and the
Eucharist is the Bread
of Life.
Sing song: I am the Bread of Life
Sing: Come Holy Ghost
Teaching
God has been teaching us.
Disciples - Listen
We are here to be more
perfected as our Heavenly
Father is perfect.
We need to die to our
ways not like Jesus and
rise in Him.
God is teaching us -
Are we listening?
Are we growing as God
intends?
God has a Plan.
We need to live by His
Plan, not fight His Plan
with willfulness against
Him.
Having pain and
suffering can help us
know how to help
others in pain.
There is suffering in this
world in our lives.
Fr. Carter said, it’s not
that there is too much
suffering in the world,
but so much is wasted.
Our life is to be lived by
God’s rules. If we are
doing what we are
supposed to, we can
sleep in a storm. Look
at Jesus sleeping on
the boat in a storm.
God loves us so much,
He is really there, rely
on Him, call to Him, let
go to Him.
Sing: Amazing Grace
God gives us grace
when we ask Him.
Do everything you do
all for the honor and
glory of God.
God deserves our love
and honor and praise!!
God loves us, when we
give to others, we give
to God.
God intends us to grow,
to die to the ways not
like Jesus and rise in Him.
Mary called us to
conversion at Fatima.
Many people deny they
sin and try to blame
their problems on others.
Denial.
We need to tell
ourselves the truth
about our sins and ask
for forgiveness from God.
And pray to forgive
ourselves, but not deny
our sins. Satan is the
Father of lies. To be
close to Jesus, we must
be truthful.
Ask for forgiveness for
our sins.
God loves us so much.
Have sorrow for our
sins, sorrow for not
trying to makeup by
doing good, for our
sinfulness. (atonement
for our sins).
Humility is truth
We have to love, to get
to heaven, God is love.
People can change with
God’s Grace, the hardest
criminals can change.
Look at the 2 thieves
one on each side of
Christ, when He was
crucified.
One was sorry, the
other obstinate.
God has a Plan, a
unique plan for our
lives.
God wants us with Him
in heaven, someday
forever.
A just man lives in men’s
hearts, when they die.
Love never dies.
God is love. Look up,
praise and love and
serve Him.
Sing: Let There be Peace on Earth
Love gives for the good
of the other.
Love doesn’t hold back
to hurt others, that is evil.
Love gives.
The more we give, the
bigger the heart, the
more like Jesus.
Song: Give me your heart, oh Jesus, give me a heart like yours
Jesus, the Son of God,
came to the earth a
little baby, to teach us
about God, and He
taught and worked
miracles and He gave
Himself, dying on a
cross for our sins.
Jesus is love. Love gives.
Glorious Mysteries
The Resurrection
1. Matthew 28: 1-10The empty tomb. The angel's message
After the Sabbath, and towards dawn on the first day of the week, Mary of Magdala and the other Mary went to visit the sepulchre. And suddenly there was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord, descending from heaven, came and rolled away the stone and sat on it. His face was like lightning, his robe white as snow. The guards were so shaken by fear of him that they were like dead men. But the angel spoke; and he said to the women, ‘There is no need for you to be afraid. I know you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here, for he has risen, as he said he would. Come and see the place where he lay, then go quickly and tell his disciples, "He has risen from the dead and now he is going ahead of you to Galilee; that is where you will see him." Look! I have told you.’ Filled with awe and great joy the women came quickly away from the tomb and ran to tell his disciples.
Appearance to the women
And suddenly, coming to meet them, was Jesus. ‘Greetings,’ he said. And the women came up to him and, clasping his feet, they did him homage. Then Jesus said to them, ‘Do not be afraid; go and tell my brothers that they must leave for Galilee; there they will see me.’

God, the power is in
Him.

Plan, do His will in love.

Descent of the Holy Spirit on the Apostles and the Virgin Mary
1. Acts 2: 1-4
When Pentecost day came round, they had all met together, when suddenly there came from heaven a sound as of a violent wind which filled the entire house in which they were sitting; and there appeared to them tongues as of fire; these separated and came to rest on the head of each of them. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak different languages as the Spirit gave them power to express themselves.

Guiding Light homily series — Reflect on the Word — Cycle B The Word leaves an impression on our souls. In my thoughts and reflections are born a more tangible understanding of these eternal concepts presented in the Gospels and the readings. Anyone can read a sentence, but not anyone can absorb it's true meaning. Truth, in this day and age, is almost a matter of opinion or individual entitlement. We believe that Christ's truth is our Roman Catholic Church. We, as priests, champion it's teachings; we are ambassadors for the Pope and Christ to those faces looking at us. We are the light by which our congregation reads to reflect upon real truth and we do it hand in hand. $10 |
Guiding Light homily series — Steadfast to the Son — Cycle A The sunflower is a great example of how we should be steadfastly guided by light. What a powerful thought that this exceptional plant is not stuck in one pose day in and day out, yet adaptable and magnetized to the sun. We feel the same about our Son. Our heads turns to face Christ as each day presents its challenges to find light. We join together like plants in a field and soak up the Son through the pulpit. We are a warm circle of strength using the wind of our breath to carry our priests' words, Christ's words, to new rich soil. $10 |
Guiding Light — Focusing on the Word — Cycle B At times we may feel that our path to Christ is a bit "out of focus". Like the disciples in the Book of Mark, this ordinary life clouds our vision of Christ's Divinity. We may doubt the practicality or possibility of applying His teachings and example to our modern life. Cycle B's homilies are a "guiding light" to help us realize Jesus' Messianic greatness and His promise of better things to come. $10 |
Guiding Light — Feed My Soul — Cycle C In a world rapidly advancing and encouraging personal gain, we are faced with modern problems. There is a challenge to find time in our busy schedules for Sunday Mass or a family meal. We are able to research, shop, bank and even work without hearing one human voice. It is no wonder that we may often feel disconnected and famished at our week's end. In Fr. Joe's third book of homilies from Cycle C, we are reminded of the charity that Christ intended us to show each other. We have a calling to turn the other cheek and be the Good Samaritan to others. We are rewarded with the Father's kingdom and love when we are not worthy. We are not left alone or hungry. $10 |
