Prayer for Grace for our Country

Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our president and leaders. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.

Glorious Mysteries in Petition

The Resurrection

1. Think of that glorious morning after the darkness of Good Friday. Three days later Jesus rose from the dead.

2. The Apostles never really quite understood what was going to happen, even though Jesus told them what to expect, but when the Holy Spirit came they received so much from Pentecost.

3. Mary must have suffered those days, Jesus was in the tomb, but Mary knew things in her heart from being so close to Jesus and from her unity with God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

4. My mom died when I was five of cancer, but I knew about God and was told my mom was going to heaven to be with Jesus.

I read in one of my brother's homilies (Fr. Joe) how knowing about life after death and knowing about heaven, helped him so much to get through when my mom died.

5. The resurrection tells us that there is life after death. No matter how we are afraid of death, to know about the resurrection is to know there is life after death. Jesus did prepare us.

6. God the Father created us so we would come to earth and grow in our image and likeness of God and when we die to be able to go to our true home in heaven for all eternity - at least that is the Father's Plan, we have a free will - we can live according to the Father's Plan or reject the Father's Plan and do our own Plan.

7. God is alive, no matter the trials we may have to go through we know God is with us in those trials in our lives that we endure. He loves us so very much.

8. Come to me, Lord, and possess my soul. Come into my heart and permeate my soul. Help me to sit in silence with You and let You work in my heart.

9. St. Ignatius believed Jesus appeared to His beloved Mother first after the resurrection.

10. Can you imagine what it would be like to see Jesus come out of the tomb on Easter morning in His glorified body!!!

 

The Ascension

1. Jesus said in a message on Ascension Thursday once, May 25, 1995, "I'm alive, I'm alive, I'm alive and I am treated like a dead object."

2. Jesus came to bring us life, life in Him. Remember the scripture the vine and the branches.

    God is so close to us, that Jesus said "I am the vine, you are the branches and all who live in Me will bear great fruit."  John 15:5

3. Jesus loves us so much and He came to this earth our Savior, our Redeemer, the Bridegroom of our soul.

4. Remember this Jesus said: "I am the vine, you are the branches".

5. Jesus came to earth to teach us about Himself and the heavenly Father and the Holy Spirit. Jesus is the Word. He gives us the bread of life in the Eucharist and the Word.

6. I hear Jesus tell me to pray this prayer He gave us 28 years ago: "Come to me, Lord, and possess my soul. Come into my heart and permeate my soul. Help me to sit in silence with You and let You work in my heart."

7. Jesus took them out to a town near Bethany and He ascended into heaven and a cloud took Him out of sight.

8. Can you envision this, the Apostles looking up and Jesus going up into the sky, can you imagine this awesome event! Jesus does send miracles into our lives and many do not have faith as they should to believe.

9. In the rosary we pray three Hail Marys near the beginning for the increase in the virtues of faith, hope and love.

10. Jesus ascended into heaven to prepare a place for us. Our true home is in heaven.

    We are here to die to our selfish ways and grow to be more like Jesus.

 

The Descent of the Holy Spirit on the Apostles and the Virgin Mary

1. The Apostles had been afraid after the Ascension and locked themselves in the upper room waiting for the coming of the Holy Spirit.

2. The Holy Spirit came upon them in parted tongues of fire. The Apostles were transformed from fear to fearlessness. They spoke, and even those of different languages understood them.

3. In baptism we receive a sharing in Divine life. Our knowing and loving capacity is elevated. We receive the supernatural virtues of faith, hope, and charity.

4. We receive the sacrament of Confirmation. This makes us soldiers of Christ. It gives us special maturity as Christians.

5. Come Holy Spirit Come, enlighten the hearts of your faithful.

9. We have a special Holy Spirit Novena with 18 scripture verses. The Holy Spirit infuses the gifts of wisdom, knowledge, understanding and counsel into our intellects when we surrender to Him and ask Him deeply to come into our souls.

10. God wants this intimacy with us. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of unity, The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of light and life. Come Holy Spirit come please give us Your gifts.

 

The Assumption

1. Mary is Mother of the Church.

2. Mary is our Mother.

3. Mary is the Spouse of the Holy Spirit.

4. Mary is the Mother of Jesus.

5. Mary was taken body and soul into heaven.

6. Can you imagine Mary's joy!!!!!!

7. Mary loved the Father's will, Mary was the perfect daughter of the heavenly Father.

8. Mary was conceived without sin.

9. Mary is the singular vessel, she takes us to Jesus' Heart. Mary is one with the Father and Jesus.

Mary: Queen of Heaven and Earth

2. Mary mounts her thrown as the Queen - angels are around Mary in heaven.

3. Sing: See the Eyes that Look at Mary

 

4. Mary is the perfect disciple of the Lord. Disciples listen to God.

    Mary always obeyed the Father's will.

5. Mary is Mother of our Christ-Life.

7. Revelation 12:1-2

Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman, robed with the sun, standing on the moon, and on her head a crown of twelve stars. She was pregnant, and in labour, crying aloud in the pangs of childbirth.
 

8. Mary's Message - from the Rosary of August 27, 1996

Mary:  I stood beneath the cross of my Son, and my Heart was in such pain for I saw Him before my eyes. I saw Him covered with blood. I saw Him die. My Heart, my children, my Heart to watch my Son, but my Heart, my Heart, how I suffered for my little children of the world that give in to this world and give up the love of my Son. O my little children of light, I give you this message. Carry this light into the darkness for your Mother Mary, for I stood beneath the cross and I cried. I cried for the little ones. I cried for the young ones, the ones that do not care and will lose their souls. How do I make you see for you will not listen to me? What can I do? I come. I appear. I beg. I plead. I give you these gifts from my Son, and you reject me. I do not deliver messages very often anymore for I have been ignored. The message is the same. You do not read the messages I have given to you. Please help me. Help the little children. I appear. I appear. I appear, and I am ignored. I stood beneath the cross, and I cried. I cried, and my Heart was in such anguish for my little children, for I am searching for them this day as I searched for the Child Jesus. Please, please help me. Act of consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
and the Immaculate Heart of Mary

Lord Jesus, Chief Shepherd of the flock, I consecrate myself to Your most Sacred Heart. From Your pierced Heart the Church was born, the Church You have called me, as a member of Shepherds of Christ Associates, to serve in a most special way. You reveal Your Heart as a symbol of Your love in all its aspects, including Your most special love for me, whom You have chosen as Your companion in this most important work. Help me to always love You in return. Help me to give myself entirely to You. Help me always to pour out my life in love of God and neighbor! Heart of Jesus, I place my trust in You!

Dear Blessed Virgin Mary, I consecrate myself to your maternal and Immaculate Heart, this Heart which is symbol of your life of love. You are the Mother of my Savior. You are also my Mother. You love me with a most special love as a member of Shepherds of Christ Associates, a movement created by your Son as a powerful instrument for the renewal of the Church and the world. In a return of love, I give myself entirely to your motherly love and protection. You followed Jesus perfectly. You are His first and perfect disciple. Teach me to imitate you in the putting on of Christ. Be my motherly intercessor so that, through your Immaculate Heart, I may be guided to an ever closer union with the pierced Heart of Jesus, Chief Shepherd of the flock.
