Consecration Prayer for Peace

I consecrate Russia and the Ukraine to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

I further consecrate the priests, the Church and the world to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary.

I do this in the name of Jesus in as far as I am able, united to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, praying to the Father, in the Holy Spirit, with all the angels and saints and the souls in purgatory through the powerful intercession of Mary, Queen of Peace. Amen.

I further consecrate myself, all members of my family and ask the Holy Spirit to fill us. I spread the Blood of Jesus on all above, I cast the devil into hell away from all of us and consecrate all persons, in as far as I am able,  to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart.

Prayer for Grace for Election and our Country

Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our president and leaders. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.

R. So much pain and suffering in
the world, in relationships, with
children, in life is caused because
of sin.
Now, can we see, a little more clear,
how much Jesus suffered for all
these sins, and how perfect the
sacrifice of the Son of God giving
Himself on the cross, in doing the
Father’s will is, so perfectly in love
for His Father.
Can you ever image how the love is,
in the 3 Persons of the Trinity?

Knowing more this love is what we
seek, love and union with God: the
Persons of the Trinity.

I know a feeling of being more full
in my chest in knowing the oneness
of God and having my relationship
with: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
It is life more full in my soul, (being
grounded, yet lifted up inside me,
presence of all 3 Persons, one in me)
the reality of how awesome it is,
beyond my understanding, but I know
a feeling of Their presence in my
heart, my chest, my soul of knowing
the existence of what I call the “more”
God created us to have eternally in
heaven.

God created us for more!! God created
us to have the fullness of life in heaven
and I know a flutter in my soul to
know the reality of God's presence, in
me, here below.

It is ineffable, it is love I know to say
to God, from my spirit, how much I
truly love Him.
Just to say: I love You, I love You, I
love You, God. (in suffering and in
joy) No words exist to know the
reality of this, that is to come, in
heaven.
This is the “Good News”.

Jesus was consumed with love in
emptying Himself on the cross, and
the Mass is the sacrifice of Calvary
sacramentally made present.

We live offering our lives to God
united to the Mass going on around
the world (the Mass lived out in our
lives).
An offering is a sacrifice, the
bending of one’s will to more
perfectly live God’s will in love -

In this is everything: to live God’s
will more perfectly in love.

Matthew 12:48-50
“Who is my mother?
Who are my brothers?”
And said, “Look, these are my
mother and brothers. Anyone who
does the will of my Father in
heaven is my brother and sister
and mother!”

Matthew 7:21-23 “Not everyone
who says to me 'Lord, Lord,' will
enter the Kingdom of Heaven. But
only the one who does the will of
my Father who is in heaven.”

We are not satisfied here below,
we are aware that we were created
for the “more” of Heaven, we are
thirsting to embrace the God, we
love deeply: Father, Son and Holy
Spirit in the beatific vision.
Sing indeed “Eye has not seen…”

He, God: Father, Son and Holy
Spirit love me, Faith lets me know
this, Hope for my eternal salvation
and the eternal salvation of others
and the greatest of these is love,
because God is love.
God is OUR 'all in all'!

The reality of all this and His
promises for those who love and
serve the Lord is ever deeper
existent in my soul,
through the working of the Holy
Spirit possessing my soul and my
responding to His ineffable gift of
Himself to me.

Unity, Oneness, favor and He is
the initiator, I am the soul waiting
His favor.

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus I place
my trust, my life, my heart in Thee.
I know Him - He is real, this is faith,
this is hope, this is love,
It is reality to me!

Sing: Your Presence Pervades my Soul

A Prayer for Intimacy with the Lamb, the Bridegroom of the Soul

Oh Lamb of God, Who take away the sins of the world, come and act on my soul most intimately. I surrender myself, as I ask for the grace to let go, to just be as I exist in You and You act most intimately on my soul. You are the Initiator. I am the soul waiting Your favors as You act in me. I love You. I adore You. I worship You. Come and possess my soul with Your Divine Grace, as I experience You most intimately.

R. What do you think?

Jesus spent 40 days in the desert,
then when He got out, the devil
tempted him, but He told Satan
to get behind Him.

But Moses went round and
round in the desert for 40 years,
but when he got close to the end
he got tempted, but he gave in.

Jesus served the Father’s will
perfectly.

We are imperfect, because of sin.
We need a Redeemer, a Savior,
we need Jesus!

We have to keep believing!
We can’t give up.
Jesus fell 3 times under the weight
of the cross on the way to Calvary.

He never gave up.
We need healing from our
imperfections.
God wants us to die to the ways
not like Him to rise in Him.

Dear Holy Spirit fill our hearts.
When we are weak, we are strong
in Him.

The sun comes up every morning,
a new day begins. God does not
leave us, it is we who move away
from Him.
In suffering, we need to stay ever
closer to Him and He will
give us strength and light, even
in the suffering.

There is life in suffering when we
embrace the suffering, in Him,
properly.

R. Building the Kingdom of God
is living the Pascal Mystery of
death / resurrection.

Jesus didn’t wear a gold crown,
He wore a crown of thorns.

We walk next to Jesus in the
hills and valleys of life.
Sometimes wearing a crown of
thorns, or a cross, identifying
with Jesus, our brother, our
teacher, our friend.

Keeping our eyes focused on
Jesus, always, loving God,
obeying the Father’s will is how
we help build the Kingdom of
God.

It is a gift to spend quiet time
with Jesus.
We are like children, listening,
true disciples.
Jesus dressed in red, we are
sitting under Him, little children,
ready to listen.

R. At the transfiguration, God
the Father said: This is My
beloved Son, in whom I am
well pleased, listen to Him.”

Disciples of Jesus, listen to Him.

The Christian helps Christ
redeem the world by reliving
Christ's mysteries.

As the Christian dies mystically
with Christ through loving
conformity with the Father's
will, he rises with Christ to, and
ever greater share in the
resurrection, in the newness of
life, in the life of grace.

As the Christian in this manner
relives the Paschal mystery of
Christ, he is helping in his own
redemption, but he is also, in a
mysterious real manner, helping
Christ, redeem the world.

The Christian must always
remember that he carries away
from the Mass not only the
Christ of the death and the
resurrection, but also, for
example, the Christ of the
hidden life, and the Christ
of the public life.

Christ did not lead only a
hidden life, but a public life
also.

One aspect of Christ, public
life that should be common to
all Christian vocations is the
selflessness, the constant
concern, and love for others,
which Christ constantly and
vividly displayed.

This concern for others cost
Christ, much in fatigue of
body and mind.

Nevertheless, He continuously
gave Himself completely to others.

Sing: A Song from Jesus

R. Jesus endured the bitter
Passion, He never gave up.

The Mass lived out.
We live the Pascal mystery of
death / resurrection.

We are dying to our self-will
constantly in giving and loving
others, in this dying to self we
live more deeply the life of
resurrection.
We follow in the footprints of
Jesus.
Jesus is the way, the truth and
the life. Life is in Him.

R. The Lord is my Shepherd, He
leads us on our way, someday to
home with our Father in heaven.
God is our beloved.
God provides for us.
God is always with us

Sorrowful Mysteries

The Agony in the Garden

1. Luke 22: 39-46

The Mount of Olives

He then left to make his way as usual to the Mount of Olives, with the disciples following. When he reached the place he said to them, ‘Pray not to be put to the test.’

Then he withdrew from them, about a stone’s throw away, and knelt down and prayed. ‘Father,’ he said, ‘if you are willing, take this cup away from me. Nevertheless, let your will be done, not mine.’ Then an angel appeared to him, coming from heaven to give him strength. In his anguish he prayed even more earnestly, and his sweat fell to the ground like great drops of blood. When he rose from prayer he went to the disciples and found them sleeping for sheer grief. And he said to them, ‘Why are you asleep? Get up and pray not to be put to the test.’

2. It was I, Jesus, who sinned, I
am sorry, I nailed You to the
    cross,
I am sorry my God for
    offending You.
    I love You so much,
    Thank You for paying for
    our sins.
3. Jesus knew every blow, all He
    would suffer in the Garden.
4. An angel appeared to comfort
    Him.
5. Jesus emptied Himself in His
    bitter Passion and death.
6. Love sacrifices, we see this in
    Jesus’ bitter Passion and death.
7. The most perfect sacrifice,
Jesus, the Son of God, gave, is
Himself to His death on the cross.
8. Love gives for the good of the
    other.
9. How do we love Jesus? Is He
    first in our lives?
10. God the Father created us to
love. God the Father created us
    in love,
God the Father created us with
    a Plan for our lives.

The Scourging at the Pillar

1. Luke 23: 15-19, 22

...As you can see, the man has done nothing that deserves death, so I shall have him flogged and then let him go.' But as one man they howled, 'Away with him! Give us Barabbas!' (This man had been thrown into prison because of a riot in the city and murder.)

And for the third time he spoke to them, 'But what harm has this man done? I have found no case against him that deserves death, so I shall have him flogged and then let him go.'

2. Think of how one sore can
hurt so much. Pain can be very
hard to endure, a toothache, a
    cut, a joint.
Now think of Jesus how they
tore His flesh at the pillar.
3. Oh Jesus, I am sorry for my
sins, I want to thank You for
    all You suffered.
4. Sin offends God. Being
unloving, Fr. Carter said is sin.
God sent His only begotten Son
to teach us how to love.
5. Jesus' thoughts were for the
    Good thief, while He was
    dying on the cross.
6. Jesus was thinking of us, He
told me once, while He was
    being scourged at the pillar.
7. Pain can be thumping, so
constant, when we get old, it
    may be terminal.
8. Jesus' pain was constant when
    they started scourging Him
until He died, all over His body.
9. Jesus had torn flesh, wounds.
    He was bloody and bruised.
10. Jesus' love for us is above our
    understanding, Jesus' love is
why He gave Himself. God is
    love, above our understanding.

The Crowning with Thorns

1. Matthew 27: 27-31

Then the governor’s soldiers took Jesus with them into the Praetorium and collected the whole cohort round him. And they stripped him and put a scarlet cloak round him, and having twisted some thorns into a crown they put this on his head and placed a reed in his right hand. To make fun of him they knelt to him saying, ‘Hail, king of the Jews!’ And they spat on him and took the reed and struck him on the head with it. And when they had finished making fun of him, they took off the cloak and dressed him in his own clothes and led him away to crucifixion.

2. Jesus' head was pounded and
    pounded by angry men who
    hit His Sacred head.
3. Sing: Oh Sacred Head Surrounded
4. Jesus was in such pain, spit
on, mocked, and He had the
    tenderest Heart of all.
5. Sacrifice!! Sacrifice!!
An innocent Lamb led to the
    slaughter.
6. Jesus endured all this to pay for
our sins and for love of us.
7. Jesus came to teach us love.
Oh Jesus, I am so sorry for
    offending You, My God.
8. Jesus: My thoughts were for
    love of you.
9. Oh Jesus, I love You so much.
10. Sing: Crown Him with Many Crowns

The Carrying of the Cross

1. Mark 15: 15-23

So Pilate, anxious to placate the crowd, released Barabbas for them and, after having Jesus scourged, he handed him over to be crucified. The soldiers led him away to the inner part of the palace, that is, the Praetorium, and called the whole cohort together. They dressed him up in purple, twisted some thorns into a crown and put it on him. And they began saluting him, 'Hail, king of the Jews!' They struck his head with a reed and spat on him; and they went down on their knees to do him homage. And when they had finished making fun of him, they took off the purple and dressed him in his own clothes. They led him out to crucify him.

They enlisted a passer-by, Simon of Cyrene, father of Alexander and Rufus, who was coming in from the country, to carry his cross. They brought Jesus to the place called Golgotha, which means the place of the skull. They offered him wine mixed with myrrh, but he refused it.

2. Can you imagine how a little
sore can cause a lot of pain and
you can try to take something
    to stop it?
3. Now, look at Jesus, covered with
    blood and wounds, humiliated
by men, and carrying a cross
    laden with our sins.
4. Jesus suffered non-stop from the
agony in the Garden to His death,
    there was not relief.
5. But like a runner consumed with
    winning a race, Jesus endured,
    Jesus emptied Himself for love
of me and you, for our sins.
6. Oh Jesus I love You, You showed
    us love gives, love sacrifices,
    love endures!!
7. Jesus fell, Jesus got up, Jesus fell,
Jesus got up, Jesus fell three times
    and He got up.
8. We see Jesus' love, Jesus full
surrender to the will of His Father.
9. This act of surrender to the Father,
the giving of Christ on the cross
is the perfect fulfillment of the
    Father's will.
10. The Mass is the sacrifice of
    Calvary, sacramentally made
    present.

The Crucifixion

1. Luke 23: 32-47

Now they were also leading out two others, criminals, to be executed with him. When they reached the place called The Skull, there they crucified him and the two criminals, one on his right, the other on his left. Jesus said, 'Father, forgive them; they do not know what they are doing.' Then they cast lots to share out his clothing.

The people stayed there watching.  As for the leaders, they jeered at him with the words, 'He saved others, let him save himself if he is the Christ of God, the Chosen One.'  The soldiers mocked him too, coming up to him, offering him vinegar, and saying, 'If you are the king of the Jews, save yourself.'  Above him there was an inscription: 'This is the King of the Jews'.

One of the criminals hanging there abused him: 'Are you not the Christ? Save yourself and us as well.'  But the other spoke up and rebuked him.  'Have you no fear of God at all?' he said.  'You got the same sentence as he did, but in our case we deserved it: we are paying for what we did.  But this man has done nothing wrong.'  Then he said, 'Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.'  He answered him, 'In truth I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.'

The veil of the Sanctuary was torn right down the middle. Jesus cried out in a loud voice saying, 'Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.' With these words he breathed his last. When the centurion saw what had taken place, he gave praise to God and said, 'Truly, this was an upright man.'

2. Mass and the Morning Offering

In the death, there is the
    resurrection!
    When we suffer properly, we
    have the opportunity to grow
    in greater intimacy with Christ,
thus live more deeply the life
    of resurrection.
3. It is this which we unite to the
Mass and offer united to Jesus
    to the Father.
4. And the Father looks down and
accepts the sacrifice of Jesus as
    most pleasing and
    accepts our sacrifice united to
    Jesus’.
5. We live the life, death and
    resurrection of Christ in our
lives, united to the Mass in our
    Morning Offering and grace is
    outpoured, praying to the Father,
united to Jesus, in the Holy Spirit,
    through the powerful intercession
on Mary, with all the angels and
saints and the souls in purgatory.
6. We offer our joys, sufferings,
all we do like this (I do for the rest
of my life) it is the intention of
my heart (Jesus knows my heart
always to be united to the Mass
going on around the world) but
I pray daily, all day, everything
    offered!!
7. The Mass is the sacrifice of
    Calvary, sacramentally made
    present.
I pray for the priests, the
    Church and the world united
    this way - my offering!!
8. I love the priest, the Church and
    the world, so much.
    The world belongs to Christ.
The world, the Church and the
    individual Christian are
in the state of becoming more
Christic, (that is more in the
image of Christ) we help in this
(a pilgrim Church, a work in
    progress)
as members of the body of
    Christ, with Christ our head.
9. We help build the Kingdom of
God. When we are weak we are
strong in Him, and grace (His
life in us) is abundantly outpoured.

    So good!!!

    So beautiful! Beyond our
comprehension, how good it really is.

    This is ineffable.
    Profound.

10. Say Daily Prayer

Dear Father, I offer up all I do all day united to Jesus, in the Mass in the Holy Spirit, through the intercession of Mary, with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, for the priests, the Church and the world.

We love You, God, so much.
We thank You and adore You and petition You for our needs.
    Amen.!!!!!

Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle B of the Litugical Year (2011/2012)
$ 10.00

Guiding Light homily series — Reflect on the Word — Cycle B     The Word leaves an impression on our souls. In my thoughts and reflections are born a more tangible understanding of these eternal concepts presented in the Gospels and the readings. Anyone can read a sentence, but not anyone can absorb it's true meaning. Truth, in this day and age, is almost a matter of opinion or individual entitlement. We believe that Christ's truth is our Roman Catholic Church. We, as priests, champion it's teachings; we are ambassadors for the Pope and Christ to those faces looking at us. We are the light by which our congregation reads to reflect upon real truth and we do it hand in hand. $10

Guiding Light - Steadfast to the Son
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle A of the Litugical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light homily series — Steadfast to the Son — Cycle A    The sunflower is a great example of how we should be steadfastly guided by light. What a powerful thought that this exceptional plant is not stuck in one pose day in and day out, yet adaptable and magnetized to the sun. We feel the same about our Son. Our heads turns to face Christ as each day presents its challenges to find light. We join together like plants in a field and soak up the Son through the pulpit. We are a warm circle of strength using the wind of our breath to carry our priests' words, Christ's words, to new rich soil. $10

Guiding Light - Focusing on the Word
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle B of the Litugical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light — Focusing on the Word — Cycle B    At times we may feel that our path to Christ is a bit "out of focus". Like the disciples in the Book of Mark, this ordinary life clouds our vision of Christ's Divinity. We may doubt the practicality or possibility of applying His teachings and example to our modern life. Cycle B's homilies are a "guiding light" to help us realize Jesus' Messianic greatness and His promise of better things to come. $10

Guiding Light - Feed My Soul
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle C of the Litugical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light — Feed My Soul — Cycle C    In a world rapidly advancing and encouraging personal gain, we are faced with modern problems. There is a challenge to find time in our busy schedules for Sunday Mass or a family meal. We are able to research, shop, bank and even work without hearing one human voice. It is no wonder that we may often feel disconnected and famished at our week's end. In Fr. Joe's third book of homilies from Cycle C, we are reminded of the charity that Christ intended us to show each other. We have a calling to turn the other cheek and be the Good Samaritan to others. We are rewarded with the Father's kingdom and love when we are not worthy. We are not left alone or hungry. $10
