Dear God,
I love You and I give You myself.
Prayer for Union with Jesus
Come to me, Lord, and possess my soul. Come into my heart and permeate my soul. Help me to sit in silence with You and let You work in my heart.
I am Yours to possess. I am Yours to use. I want to be selfless and only exist in You. Help me to spoon out all that is me and be an empty vessel ready to be filled by You. Help me to die to myself and live only for You. Use me as You will. Let me never draw my attention back to myself. I only want to operate as You do, dwelling within me.
I am Yours, Lord. I want to have my life in You. I want to do the will of the Father. Give me the strength to put aside the world and let You operate my very being. Help me to act as You desire. Strengthen me against the distractions of the devil to take me from Your work.
When I worry, I have taken my focus off of You and placed it on myself. Help me not to give in to the promptings of others to change what in my heart You are making very clear to me. I worship You, I adore You and I love You. Come and dwell in me now.

Dear God, I don't understand when someone in
authority tells someone to do something, why they
willfully change things thinking they
can make it better.
It is simple to give a direction, take a
movie of the window, do this project
etc and then the will of the other is
so strong, they think they should disobey
and do it their way to make it better.
Yes after it is done, what can you do. You
tell them and many justify themselves
and they punish more because they don't
want anyone correcting them.
God has called a special retreat for the
servants and handmaids January 10-14.
There will be Mass in China on the 13th at
12:00 noon — all are invited anytime
during the retreat.
There will be prayer services in the
Church each night from 6:20 on.
The Blessed Sacrament will be exposed.
It will be a benefit for all who come.
A silent retreat will be offered soon
for apostles, associates and others.
The retreat this month will begin if
anyone wants to come and pray
Sunday with the 6:20 prayers.
Tuesday the 13th — there will be the Mass
at 12:00 noon, the prayer service,
a small break, the 6:20 prayers
followed by what will be the Sidney
Rosary this month.
Masses will be every day

Wednesday 3:00 January 14
this is the closing of the retreat.
Mass in Cincinnati will be at 9:00 Sunday

Rooms can be obtained for the retreat at
the Country Hearth Inn in Madison
at a reasonable price.
These retreats are to help us to grow in
deeper holiness and help us grow
more deeply in our love union
with God.
The 13th is a day of prayer especially —
for the priests, the Church and the
world and Tuesday night for healing
as always during the Tuesday night
Sidney rosary.
China is our center for retreats.
The special retreat open to apostles and
associates will be announced, but
every month a retreat will take
place before the exposed Eucharist,
with the special prayer service
being on the 13th at 12 noon.
We beg for prayers for our Movement.
The Novitiate is in Cincinnati.
Anyone entering as a possible candidate
for a servant and handmaid will
enter in Cincinnati. There they
will be trained about the way of
life and the mission of the Shepherds of Christ
as they grow more deeply in their
union with God.
Our daily activities center around the Mass
and adoration.
We do hourly prayers.
We pray daily at 6:20.
Anyone interested should read the daily
messages, and listen to the broadcasts,
and pray the prayers on the 5th, 13th
and the Sidney Rosary.
Our Mission is directed by Our Lord.
Everything is checked with a Catholic
priest daily. Other priests are
also consulted.
We want to guard the absolute purity
of the Movement at all times.
Fr. Carter and Rita Ring are the only
messengers of the Shepherds of Christ Movement.
All materials are discerned by a Catholic
priest.
Father Edward Carter, doctor of theology
author of 18 books discerned all
published books very carefully
and all daily messages until his
death December, 2000.
He told us to have a special priest to help us.
This priest has helped us since Fr. Carter's death
daily, with other priests being consulted
when needed.
Our mission in Florida is very directed.
To lead into this great era of peace we
encourage all to live deeply their
life of consecration to the Hearts of
Jesus and Mary. We are to encourage
people to consecrate their homes to the Sacred Heart
and the Immaculate Heart. Jesus wants pictures of
the Sacred Heart and the Immaculate Heart
in all homes. We encourage all to pray the rosary,
as Mary desires, so they will let the mysteries of the
rosary live in their lives. How can we be more likened
to Jesus and Mary unless we meditate on Their
lives.
Dear Jesus, touch our hearts to be likened
to you. Help us to live holy lives. Help us to
be pure more like Mary, help us to follow in Your
footsteps.
We have been given a special mission to
pray for the priests, the Church and the world —
If people come to the site in Florida and talk derogatorily
about their priests and bishops we don't
encourage them, we simply tell them Jesus
has given us this Movement to pray for holy
priests, to pray for the Church and the world
and we try to encourage them to pray
these prayers given to Father Carter and
pray the prayers in their prayer chapters,
after Mass or begin a prayer chapter.

Messenger:
We encourage all to take the say daily card
(the Morning Offering) and tell them to pray
it daily.
The whole building is used to promote this
mission given to us by God. And it is full.
We had to close the rosary factory on
September 11, 2002 because of funds.
This service has been picked up in Jasper,
Indiana ever since.
We wish you would remember us in your will.
Jesus wants us to own the building outright
so we can focus on the ministries. We now have
a loan on the building.

Messenger:
True leaders are out for the good of the
Movement. They know that they do not
do all things perfectly and try with all
their heart to do what they can for
the good of the Movement and to help
save souls.
If there is one leader that resist any correction
and pouts for days at any correction he is,
besides weakening the Movement with
lack of cooperation, future work accomplished,
giving a very bad example to all those
around him.
Jesus gives us many gifts and directions
to accomplish this work at hand. The leaders
are most faithful. This can be measured
by their willingness to continually do what is
best for the Movement. If correction is needed
there is little focus and it does not alter
their behavior afterward in any way at
all. They continue to make decisions for
the good of the Movement for their focus
is to serve God and operate for His
honor and glory.
A person from wounded relationships can
pout for weeks and may never forget
that they were corrected for doing
something incorrectly. They harbor
resentment inside and their work
is majorly affected because they will
not get over being corrected. How can
you deal with someone who is so attached
to wanting their performance to be
spotless and if they do their own thing
when asked to do something else — how can
you ever get them to do what you
need done.
First of all they do what they want, their
own way, when asked to do a specific
thing — leaving what needed to be done,
done incorrectly,
then when they are told what they did,
they pout for weeks and won't get
over the problem being addressed.
Where St. Ignatius talks about the three
classes of men — we see one doing everything
for the honor and glory of God, wanting
what needs to be done and giving their
all to it.
Where one can not be told to do something
without doing it their own way
and then punishing others for weeks
for correcting them — the bottom line to
the story is — they won't do what you
ask them to do.
A leader that is the class that wants the will
of God, will act with the best interest
of the Movement, two seconds after they
were corrected. They act for the good
of the Movement and to please God
and do His will always.
A person acting above others as a leader,
in this case Jesus, is a go between for
people. Why should they lead with such
behavior.
The purity of intention of the three
classes of men can be seen in this
meditation of St. Ignatius in the
Spiritual Exercises.
