This is according to her request. All attempts will be made to publish this daily message to the world at 11 p.m. Eastern time, U.S.A.

Messenger:             God has blessed us, truly blessed us. He gives
us so many blessings in the every day things
                            we do.

A mother may be so busy taking care of her
children nursing and loving them, but a mother
or father whose children are grown and gone may
long for ten minutes on a sunny day when
the children cried and just wanted to be held.

There are so many tender moments of holding
a new born baby, but it may demand tremendous
sacrifice on the part of the mom and dad when
the babies are so young. But oh, to look at the movies
of the little baby long after they are gone brings
                            back memories.

October 1, 2002 message continues

Messenger:             Children may cry, two at a time and demand
so much time and attention, but they go from
little dependent babies to young very independent
                            adults.

(They grow up in a hurry and many are gone with
very little time for mom and dad.)

There are so many very special gifts Our Lord
                            gives to us.

Our life may seem very difficult at times, but in
the most difficult times we may have very dear
memories of how God blessed us in the struggle.

October 1, 2002 message continues

Messenger:             We may think we are the only one enduring hard
ship and then at a parish picnic we can go from
one person to another that is experiencing deep
                            pain and suffering.

I remember all the trips to China with Fr. Carter —

way to China

October 1, 2002 message continues

Messenger:         sometimes there were so many problems
just in running the Movement and
dealing with people and problems and I
discussed everything with him. John and Father
and I worked very closely together making all the
decisions of the Shepherds of Christ.

When Father Carter said — "It is a sunny day",
that whole last year on the rides to China — I never
dreamt those days with him on the way to China
would soon end, but they seemed to end so quickly
                            for me.

His guidance was always there and he would say
I am not going to be around forever and you and
John are going to be running the Movement.

Our Lord helped the transition very easily to
give us another priest to help us. Jesus picked him
long ago. He told me to ask him to say Mass on
September 15, 2000 for all of us — the Feast of the
Sorrowful Mother. Then September 22, 2000
Fr. Carter found out he only had about 3 months
                            to live.

When I look back over the times of trial and
struggle I see many blessings God gave me, but
because of my own self I did not enjoy some
of those precious moments as I could have.

How would it be to have 10 minutes on a sunny
day with the one we loved husband, wife, child,
father, mother, close friend who has departed
or with the little children that are now grown
                            and gone.

I watched a little child today outside the restaurant,
jumpy, full of energy, longing for love of their
mom or dad and I watched an old lady walk so
slow down the steps from the restaurant holding on
like she could hardly move with a cane and
clutching the banister in the other hand.

                                Sunrise --

                                Sunset

October 1, 2002 message continues

Messenger:         I think it is most fitting Fr. Carter's life slowed
down in the autumn and the night he died
when we arrived at Columbiere it began to snow.
By morning a white blanket very deep had
                            covered the earth.

Mary speaks:  I am Our Lady of Snows. I come to cover the earth with a soft white blanket of my love.

I come to bring peace to the earth. I tell you to let go of the anxiety in your heart and experience my peace and His love.

I am your heavenly Mother. I come to hold you and caress you and take you to my Immaculate Heart.     - January 2, 1999

October 1, 2002 message continues

Messenger:         It was so quiet and so beautiful and I felt I had
been "sucked up" closer to heaven than ever before.
My heart still aches for I long for the gentleness
and wisdom of our most holy founder, but God
has endowed us with very special help and
guidance and after Fr. Carter's death I first saw
Jesus' image on the window — I felt very strongly —
Fr. Carter was helping us in heaven and Jesus
was saying "I am running My Movement."

Ecclesiastes 3: 1-11

Death

There is a season for everything, a time for every occupation under heaven:

A time for giving birth,
a time for dying;
a time for planting,
a time for uprooting what has been planted.
A time for killing,
a time for healing;
a time for knocking down,
a time for building.
A time for tears,
a time for laughter;
a time for mourning,
a time for dancing.
A time for throwing stones away,
a time for gathering them;
a time for embracing,
a time to refrain from embracing.
A time for searching,
a time for losing;
a time for keeping,
a time for discarding.
A time for tearing,
a time for sewing;
a time for keeping silent,
a time for speaking.
A time for loving,
a time for hating;
a time for war,
a time for peace.

What do people gain from the efforts they make? I contemplate the task that God gives humanity to labour at. All that he does is apt for its time; but although he has given us an awareness of the passage of time, we can grasp neither the beginning nor the end of what God does.

October 1, 2002 message continues

Messenger:         Here is the quote I love from Cardinal Bernardin
                                from the Newsletter.

Excerpt from Priestly Newsletter 1998 - ISSUE FOUR

Shortly before he was to die from cancer, Joseph Cardinal Bernardin left us these inspiring words about peace: "It is the first day of November, and fall is giving way to winter. Soon the trees will lose the vibrant colors of their leaves and snow will cover the ground. The earth will shut down, and people will race to and from their destinations bundled up for warmth. Chicago winters are harsh. It is a time of dying.

"But we know that spring will soon come with all its new life and wonder.

"It is quite clear that I will not be alive in the spring. But I will soon experience new life in a different way...

"What I would like to leave behind is a simple prayer that each of you may find what I have foundGod's special gift to us all: the gift of peace. When we are at peace, we find the freedom to be most fully who we are, even in the worst of times. We let go of what is non-essential and embrace what is essential. We empty ourselves so that God may more fully work within us. And we become instruments in the hands of the Lord."

Messenger:         Oh there are so many blessings in each day.

                            So many beautiful gifts

                                The eyes of the children

The soft skin of the little tiny baby

The beautiful sights of nature —

Messenger:         Oh there are gifts given —

gifts given in each other —

Every day may be very difficult and yet in the
suffering it may be like the pearl
                                in the oyster.

Resurrection

Messenger:         In the death — there is the resurrection

                            Sunrise

                            Sunset

                            Little seedlings —

Mary speaks:      There is the softness of the velvety sea

when one gazes upon the water —

There is the grass that may appear

                                greener on the other side.

Do you know about St. Therese,

                                She is the Little Flower

October 1, 2002 message continues

Mary speaks:         She never was married nor bore

                                    babies, but her holiness

                                    has affected souls for so

                                    much time.

A sister in the religious life has

                                many children.

Jesus called St. Therese to special

                                intimacy with Him.

She taught many about loving Jesus

through her intimate love for Him.

Excerpt from Newsletter 1998 - Issue 5

St. Theresa of Lisieux, recently made doctor of the Church by Pope John Paul II, has left us these inspiritng words: "Neither do I desire any longer suffering or death, and still I love them both; it is love alone that attracts me, however. I desired them for a long time; I possesed suffering and believed I had touched the shores of heaven, that the little flower would be gathered in the spring time of her life. Now, abandonment alone guides me. I have no other compass! I can no longer ask for anything with fervor except the accomplishment of God's will in my soul without any creature being able to set obstacles in the way." 18

Mary speaks:     You may feel you struggle every day trying to
bring forth fruit for the Kingdom, but
in your heart must be joy for — what
else would satisfy your hungry soul
but that love you have for Jesus?

Having kissed a beautiful flower, one
                                may know the tenderness of
love and yet one may not be
permitted to live their days on
                                earth in that same capacity
                                they once knew.

Oh that you would accept God's
                                will for you.

Oh that you would realize your
life must be lived for Him.

                            Sunrise, Sunset, Autumn, Winter

Fall leaves

White beautiful snows

Oh the beauty of the sunny days of summer

The budding of the trees in spring

Mary speaks:     Oh sweet children,

Your Father has blessed you, you do
not look for the blessings many times, you
complain and do not pray as you should.
Oh my children, enjoy your blessings today
                                and thank your heavenly Father.

                            LIVE IN THE MOMENT!!

Oh my children, God gives you so

                                very much.

Jesus speaks:         You must have the pictures of My Sacred
                            Heart and Mary's Immaculate Heart
in the store. Tell all to have Our pictures
                            (images) in their homes.

                                                            I love you

I am the Sacred Heart of Jesus

                                    books, Blue Books, Spanish Coloring
                                    Books.
