Joyful Mysteries
Prayers began at 6:30
Jesus: O how dearly I love each and everyone of My precious children that have gathered in this room this evening. I am Jesus, your beloved Savior. I love you with the most ardent love. Open wide your hearts and let Me touch you in a special way. My Mother and I are with you to give you messages of Our love and messages about Our lives. Open your hearts and you will be touched with My abundant grace. How tenderly I love you. I have called you, My sweet loving children. I am with you always, always. Do not fear, I will not abandon you. I am with you. Release all fear and anxieties. Let Me enter your heart in a very special way, in a very deep union, during the rosary. I long to love you and long for your love, given to Me. Tell Me from your heart how dearly you love Me. How this pleases Me so! I am Jesus. I love you, I love you, I love you. You are so dear to Me.
Song: Ave, Ave Maria
Jesus: Die to yourself My child and let Me work in you. Come and dwell in My Heart and the heart of My Mother and let the Holy Spirit move within her heart and transform you more and more into My image and likeness. As you are transformed, you will be led closer and closer to My Father. I am Jesus, I love you in a special way.
The Annunciation
R. God so loved the world that He sent His only begotten Son, Incarnate in the womb of the Virgin Mary. Think of the mystery that the Almighty God came into this world and took on flesh. This is the love that God has for His creatures, that He sent His Son into the world.
1. John 1: 14-15
The Word became flesh, he lived among us, and we saw his glory, the glory that he has from the Father as only Son of the Father, full of grace and truth.
John witnesses to him. He proclaims: ‘This is the one of whom I said: He who comes after me has passed ahead of me because he existed before me.’
Song: A Song from Jesus
2. R. The Father loved Mary so much that He chose her from all women to be the Mother of God. Think of the great love that the Father has for the Virgin Mary. Mary was conceived without sin. God came into this world in Mary who was sinless.
3. Song: O Holy Mary
4. R. The angel Gabriel appeared to the Virgin Mary and told her of the plan that God wanted her to be the Mother of His Son.
5. Song: The Angel Gabriel
6. R. Mary loved the Father with the tenderest daughterly love. Mary lived her life wanting to please the Father. Mary said "yes" to the angel. It is in modeling our life after Mary that we too will try to please the Father in our every action, for we are children of the Father and it is in the dependency that we will grow deeper in our love relationship with God.
7. R. When the child Jesus was formed in the womb of the Virgin Mary the two Hearts beat in one body. Think of the intimacy from the first moment of conception for below her Immaculate Heart, the child Jesus rested with His Most Sacred Heart, within her body.
8. R. Why is it so hard for the world to see the importance of the Virgin Mary when the Father chose her from all women. What honor He gives to women that He chose Mary to be the person that God called to bring His Son into the world! So much is within Mary, let us dwell more and more in the Heart of Mary! As Christ was formed in her womb, she is our spiritual Mother and we are formed in her heart through the Holy Spirit to be more and more like Jesus.
9. Song: O Holy Dwelling Place of God, O Holy Temple of the Word
R. Mother of God, think that God loved His creatures so much that He chose a human person to be the Mother of His Son. Mary's title, "Mother of God", meditate on this, a human person, the Mother of God.
10. Song: O Holy Mary
The Visitation
R. The angel told Mary that in her old age her cousin, Elizabeth, too had conceived of a child and Mary made haste to the hill country to be with her cousin Elizabeth.
1. R. Mary, full of grace - for within her womb she carried the Son of God. Meditate on Mary, full of grace. Jesus came in the womb of Mary.
2. R. What of us? We were created to know, love and serve God. God gives to us a special gift in the Eucharist for He gives to us Himself. He gives to us a sharing in His Divine Life. In baptism He nourishes this life in the Eucharist and we receive the Son of God within us, no less present than the day that Mary carried Him in her womb as she went her way to Elizabeth. If we saw Mary, we would think, O, God is inside of Mary! How many times do we receive the Eucharist and we are not focusing fully on the fact that God comes to us in His Divinity and His humanity, no less present than when He was carried by Mary. We receive Jesus in the Eucharist - Jesus truly present!
3. R. Let us thirst for these moments that we spend with our beloved Mother in union with the Mass, when we receive Him in the Holy Eucharist. Jesus, so tender, so loving, longing and waiting for us to come and unite with Him in deep union during the Mass.
4. R. We see the intimacy of these first two mysteries of the rosary between Jesus and Mary, that Jesus was carried within the body of His Mother. It is in realizing this closeness between Their two Hearts as we dwell in the Heart of Mary and she places us in the Heart of Jesus, that we will be closer and closer in our relationship with God, that we will know the love of Jesus deeper and deeper through the pure and sinless heart of the Virgin Mary.
5. Song: Jesus, I adore you, lay my life before you
6. Song: Immaculate Mary
7. R. We hear Mary speak: I am the Immaculate Conception. R. Mary was conceived without sin. She carried the Son of God within her womb. Such dignity and honor God gives to the human race that He came within the womb of the Virgin Mary. Let us love Jesus through her pure and sinless heart as we pray. Let us unite to the Virgin Mary in every prayer that we pray and all of our actions pray and act through the sinless, tender, loving heart of the Virgin Mary.
8. R. Mary said that her heart is surrounded with thorns, and there are many blasphemies against her Immaculate Heart. Let us comfort her heart. Let us make reparation to her heart for the offenses against her title as "Mother of God" and as the "Immaculate Heart". Mary is the spouse of the Holy Spirit.
Luke 1: 35
The angel answered, ‘The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will cover you with its shadow. And so the child will be holy and will be called Son of God.
R. Mary is our Spiritual Mother. We go to her Immaculate Heart and pray to be formed more and more in the image and likeness of God as the Holy Spirit works in this.
The Holy Spirit - From Tell My People
Jesus: "My beloved friend, tell My people to pray daily to the Holy Spirit. They are to pray for an increase in His gifts. My people must realize that the Holy Spirit comes to transform them. The Spirit desires to transform you more and more according to My image. Those who are docile to His touch become increasingly shaped in My likeness. He performs this marvel within Mary's Immaculate Heart. The more one dwells in My Mother's Heart, the more active are the workings of the Spirit. The Spirit leads Mary to place you within My own Heart. In both Our Hearts, then, your transformation continues. The more you are formed after My own Heart, the more I lead you to the bosom of My Father. Tell My people all this. Tell them to pray daily for a greater appreciation of these wondrous gifts. I am Lord and Master. All who come to My Heart will be on fire to receive the gifts of the Spirit in ever greater measure! I love and bless My people!"
Reflection: The Holy Spirit is given to us to fashion us ever more according to the likeness of Jesus. And the more we are like Jesus, the more Jesus leads us to the Father. Do we, each day, pray to the Holy Spirit to be more open to His transforming influence? Do we strive each day to grow in union with Mary? The greater our union with our Mother, the spouse of the Holy Spirit, the greater is the transforming action of the Holy Spirit within us.
R. We too will be formed more and more into the image and likeness of Jesus as we pray to the Holy Spirit that works within the heart of Mary to form us more and more into this image and likeness of our beloved Savior.
9.
R. Mary visited her cousin Elizabeth and the child within Elizabeth's womb leapt for joy. Think of the abundant graces that we receive when we receive Jesus in the Eucharist and as we sit here before the tabernacle. This is a visit from Jesus. Let us thank Him for the great graces He is giving us at the present moment when He is touching our hearts in a special way and we are sharing more in His Divine Life! How we love
10. Song: A Song from Jesus
A Prayer for Intimacy with the Lamb, the Bridegroom of the Soul
Oh Lamb of God, Who take away the sins of the world, come and act on my soul most intimately. I surrender myself, as I ask for the grace to let go, to just be as I exist in You and You act most intimately on my soul. You are the Initiator. I am the soul waiting Your favors as You act in me. I love You. I adore You. I worship You. Come and possess my soul with Your Divine Grace, as I experience You most intimately.
The Birth of Jesus
R. The little Child Jesus, the Son of God, was born in a stable in the town of Bethlehem. There was not room for Him in the Inn. In such poverty, the Almighty God came to this earth!
1. R. Let us tenderly love the Child Jesus. Let us pray to Him and realize that He answers our prayers. Let us see Mary as she holds the Child Jesus and see the tenderness between the Mother and Child and pray to her and pray to the Child Jesus.
2. R. The long awaited time was here and Jesus was born, the Son of God on the earth. Jesus was not adorned in gold and silver. Jesus was not surrounded by mighty kings. Jesus came in a stable and was surrounded by the beasts of the earth. This is the Son of God, but above His head there was a star that shone bright to show that He truly is the King of all! The King of Kings, the Almighty God, comes to this earth out of greatest love for His human creatures. Jesus comes and is born in a stable.
3. R. Mother Mary, you are our prayer partner. As you cared for the Child Jesus, care for us in all of our needs and teach us how to pray that we may be joined closer and closer to the Almighty God.
4. R. Mary fed the Child Jesus with her milk. Mary is our Mother, our spiritual Mother. Mary mothers us as she mothered the Child Jesus and she leads us on our journey, our spiritual formation to the Almighty God.
5. R. We go to the Heart of Mary and we are joined to the Heart of her Son for her heart dwells in the Heart of her Son.
6. Song: What Child Is This
7. Song: See the Eyes that Look at Mary
8. R. Jesus is laid in a manger, in the town of Bethlehem. Jesus died hanging on a cross. Jesus, the Son of God - this is the love that Jesus had for each one of us that Jesus, became man, that Jesus gave His life that we would share in His Divine Life.
9. Hail Mary
10. Hail Mary
Presentation of Our Lord in the Temple
R. Mary and Joseph took the Child Jesus to the Temple to
present Him to the Father.
1. Luke 2: 25-34
Now in Jerusalem there was a man named Simeon. He was an upright and devout man; he looked forward to the restoration of Israel and the Holy Spirit rested on him. It had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not see death until he had set eyes on the Christ of the Lord. Prompted by the Spirit he came to the Temple; and when the parents brought in the child Jesus to do for him what the Law required, he took him into his arms and blessed God; and he said:
Now, Master, you are letting
your servant go in peace
as you promised;
for my eyes have seen the salvation
which you have made ready
in the sight of the
nations;
a light of revelation for the gentiles
and glory for your people Israel.
As the child’s father and mother were wondering
at the things that were being said about him, Simeon
blessed them and said to Mary his mother, ‘Look, he is destined
for the fall and for the rise of many in Israel, destined to be a
sign that is opposed— 2.
R. Jesus, the Lamb of God, the lamb that was led to the slaughter,
that this day Jesus comes to us this day in the Eucharist, giving us His Body and Blood.
3.
R. The sacrifice of Calvary is
sacramentally made present in the Mass. We unite to the Mass and pray to the
Father. We unite to the Mass and offer all that we do, all through the day,
praying to the Father. It is the greatest prayer that we can offer to Him. 4.
R. Simeon, the prophet, was waiting to see
the Messiah. Simeon told Mary that a sword too shall pierce her soul and from
that moment on there was a constant ache in the heart of Mary for she knew of
the sufferings to come. 5.
R. Mary watched the Child Jesus at play.
Mary was with Him all through His life, walking by Jesus' side. 6.
R. How Mary's heart was pierced seven times:
the seven sorrows of Mary. Mary lived her life with her Son, Jesus. 7.
R. The Heart of Christ was pierced with a
lance and blood and water flowed forth, water for baptism - blood for the
Eucharist. Mary's heart was invisibly pierced by a sword. She is the Mediatrix
of all grace. We consecrate our hearts to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary. 8.
Mary: Let me tenderly caress you my beloved children. How I love
you and want to lead you ever closer to the Heart of my Son. It is in
dwelling in my heart that you will dwell deeper and deeper in the Heart of
Jesus. How He longs and waits for you to come. 10. Hail Mary
Finding of the Child Jesus
in the Temple 6.
R. Our beloved Jesus how we adore You and
love You. You are the Almighty God, all worthy of all of our love. God created
this vast universe and all of the creatures and look, look what man thinks -
that he can take the life of a child, a life that God has given.
I am Mary, your Mother. Listen to me. I call out and my call falls on
deaf ears, for many are not heeding the messages that I deliver. I am giving
this message to you. Come to my heart and I will lead you to the Heart of my
Son. I love you. It is through you, my children of light, that you will
light up this dark world. I am sending you into the darkness and you will
help many know the light of my Son. I am calling. This is an urgent request
to help my little children that are dying in their hearts.
9. Mary: I am asking you to help me to spread these rosaries, to
spread the rosaries to all the world, to spread the rosaries to the adults
and to the children. The rosary is a very powerful weapon against Satan.
Satan is so strong this day, my dear little children. I am calling out to
you. You must pray with all your heart. Do not be taunted by Satan. He wants
to drive you away from my Son, Jesus. I will lead you ever closer to this
burning love.
Mary: We call out to you on the fifth day of the month to help to
spread this movement across the world and to the children. I am Mary, your
Mother. I am calling you to open your heart and help to lead many to me and
my Son, to help all to consecrate their hearts daily to the Sacred Heart of
Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. I promise you, my little children,
that there will be peace in this world, but many will suffer great trials
and many will lose their souls. I am Mary, your Mother. I am calling. This
is an urgent call for time is short. Many will lose their soul. Please – my
little, lost children are suffering so in this world.
1. Mary: The murder of the children in the womb of their mothers, my
dear ones, this is a crime, the slaughter of innocent babies in the wombs of
their own mother!
2. Mary: The children that were taught about sex at such an early
age, young children—five and six years old—what do I say? Many have closed
their eyes!
3. Mary: How will little children know of the love of God? So many
of the teachings that are being taught this day have turned to such
evilness. I beg you from my motherly heart to reach the children, to be a
mother to each child, to pray from your heart as you have never prayed
before. Pray, my dear ones and reach the children, my little children. My
heart bleeds for the children in America.
4. Mary: Children of wealth—given such good things and look how they
act!
5. Mary: What more do I say? Many children will lose
their souls. My Son is to be
loved by the children. I am calling out to you to
turn your hearts to love, to go
to daily Mass and daily
Communion. Die to yourselves and unite to the burning
love of My Son, Jesus. At every Mass offer yourselves as a sacrifice united
with My Son, Jesus. Pray to the Father and pray that you will be joined ever
closer to the pure and tender Heart of my Son, Jesus.
7. Mary: The darkness covered the earth and the light of the love of
my Son was seen in the hearts of the children of the light. I am calling you
to light up this darkened world, this world that has turned to sin. I am
calling, I am pleading, I am sending out an urgent plea to help me to reach
the children of America with the rosary and to go to the schools and to tell
the children about the lives of Jesus and Mary.
I am Mary, your Mother. The rosary is a mighty weapon against Satan.
Satan prowls this earth looking for souls to devour. He is aimed at the
youth, my little precious youth that do not even know of the love of my Son.
Will you help spread his love to the little children in this world?
8.
Mary: The Sacred Heart of Jesus will reign and the Immaculate
Heart of Mary will triumph but many souls will be lost. What you do with
your life this day to help me to spread the message of His love will make a
difference to this hurting world. Do not be fooled by the false peace that
you see for underneath there is much turmoil. Look into the hearts of your
youth—look into their eyes, go to the schools and watch the youth.
9. Mary: Tell the children about the Mass and the Eucharist. Tell
them of my Son, Jesus, who is truly present this day. This is the healing
that the youth need—to come to Jesus in the Eucharist, to come to daily
Mass. I am Mary, your Mother, I am calling out to you, my beloved ones to
help me to spread the love of my Son to the children of America, for many
will lose their souls for their serious sins.
10. Mary: This is a rosary from the hearts of Jesus and Mary. Will
you help spread these rosaries to this world? Many do not even know how to
pray the rosary. The rosary is a powerful tool to use against Satan. I beg
you to help spread the rosary to the souls of America.
Given October 8, 2012
R. We must be one. This is our mission.
Let the valleys be raised and the mountains
made low. The lion sits down with the
lamb.
Think of this the lion grazes with the
lamb. God has called the world to oneness —
oneness in Him where we are to operate as
St. Paul says
"It is no longer, I who live, but He who lives
in me"
We must put on Christ —
In all things - put on Christ —
His Word alive in us — where it is no
longer - I who live, but He who lives in me.
A fruit was chosen to show the
sin of Adam and Eve and from a simple fruit
we are to recognize this accounting of the sin
of Adam and Eve. We can fail to see many
times because of our wounded
human nature our own jealousies, envy,
pride —
Mary was sinless —
Jealousies that exist in us can be the means by
which the devil can get in. If it is God's will for
us to have many relationships and function
deeply united as a body - then jealousies,
envy, must not be acted on or even have
jealousy or anger toward others —
God wants us to love to pray for each other-
to work together.
We have distorted vision because of our
wounded human nature — We see God and
others with distorted vision.
So we can size up our neighbor and not
be joyful when one is serving God as we should
with the God given talents as God desires. We
can cause pain and suffering and be a road
block to God's plan because of our jealousies.
Fr. Carter was very holy — he spent his
life loving - Jesus gave him this great
mission to teach us about love and
unity.
God wants us to see this vision of the lion
laying down with the lamb — lions are ferocious,
lambs little and docile — If the lion wants to
eat the lamb, then they are not friends — The
lion by nature is an animal, a lion — the
lamb by nature an animal - docile, simple.
Whatever the scripture says — about the
mountains being leveled and the valleys
raising up - to me it meant - oneness —
oneness means —
I am to do God's will.
I am to live in love with my brother.
Ponder the Persons of the Trinity —
Did you ever try to have 3 people united as one —
it can be very difficult — 2 can go together
against a third — then they can pair up
another way — one day and then it can be the
other two against the third — (a switch of friends)
God wants us to work together living
the Father's will.
In baptism we are incorporated in Christ —
The Father, Son and Holy Spirit live in our
graced baptized soul — God has called servants
and handmaids, Apostles, Associates in the
Shepherds of Christ — He has blessed us
abundantly calling us to do this work —
He has given us so many graces and gifts —
Look at all we have accomplished with so
few people — It is because of God doing it,
working in us. The Holy Spirit leading us on
our way. Others responding because of the
Holy Spirit working in them.
Excerpt from Response to God's Love by Fr. Edward Carter, S.J.
... In reference to Christianity, God himself is the ultimate mystery. Radically, God is completely other and transcendent, hidden from man in his inner life, unless he chooses to reveal himself. Let us briefly look at this inner life of God.
The Father, in a perfect act of self-expression, in a perfect act of knowing, generates his son. The Son, the Word, is, then, the immanent expression of God's fullness, the reflection of the Father. Likewise, from all eternity, the Father and the Son bring forth the Holy Spirit in a perfect act of loving.
At the destined moment in human history, God's self-expression, the Word, immersed himself into man's world. God's inner self-expression now had also become God's outer self-expression. Consequently, the mystery of God becomes the mystery of Christ. In Christ, God tells us about himself, about his inner life, about his plan of creation and redemption. He tells us how Father, Son, and Holy Spirit desire to dwell within us in the most intimate fashion, how they wish to share with us their own life through grace. All this he has accomplished and does accomplish through Christ.
R. In heaven there is no jealousy!
The vision God wanted for the Shepherd of Christ
was given to Fr. Carter and to me — the vision
God wants is clear —
Always the Priestly Writing is
the top #1 priority — these remarks that
follow show us many letters from hierarchy
and priests. God has called us to be a
part of this big plan to help to bring to
completion the mission Mary began at
Fatima —
The only way it will work is if we
unite very deeply in God. God is working
in us. It is His plan. We are under Him.
He has the Plan.
Jesus is the Chief Shepherd of the Flock.
Ezekiel 34: 11-16
“For the Lord Yahweh says this: Look, I myself shall take care of my flock and look after it. As a shepherd looks after his flock when he is with his scattered sheep, so shall I look after my sheep. I shall rescue them from wherever they have been scattered on the day of clouds and darkness. I shall bring them back from the peoples where they are; I shall gather them back from the countries and bring them back to their own land. I shall pasture them on the mountains of Israel, in the ravines and in all the inhabited parts of the country. I shall feed them in good pasturage; the highest mountains of Israel will be their grazing ground. There they will rest in good grazing grounds; they will browse in rich pastures on the mountains of Israel. I myself shall pasture my sheep, I myself shall give them rest–declares the Lord Yahweh. I shall look for the lost one, bring back the stray, bandage the injured and make the sick strong. I shall watch over the fat and healthy. I shall be a true shepherd to them."
John 10: 11-15
I am the good shepherd:
the good shepherd lays down his life
for his sheep.
The hired man,
since he is not the shepherd
and the sheep do not belong to him,
abandons the sheep
as soon as he sees a wolf coming,
and runs away,
and then the wolf attacks
and scatters the sheep;
he runs away
because he is only a hired man
and has no concern for the sheep.
I am the good shepherd;
I know my own
and my own know me,
just as the Father knows me
and I know the Father;
and I lay down my life for my sheep.
R. This is our mission —
This is the great mission God calls us to,
to help spread His love to the world.
Margaret was a nice girl who loved God
but when she got around Sue there was
competition — Margaret didn't like Sue
getting too many things where she looked
good to others. So as sweet as Margaret was
most of the time - she blocked Sue's work
at Church and Sue had a unique talent for
helping others organize and get the money
they needed for projects, but Margaret just
got jealous if Sue "looked too good" at Church.
Envy and Jealousy are two of the deadly sins.
They all had the same mission spreading
God's love — being united deeply and really
forgiving and helping each other with the
vision. At times Kathy would spend lots of
personal time arguing with Judy — they
just fought about things, arguments of who
was right and withholding important information
needed. They spent lots of time competing with
each other —
there was little harmony ever in that
department.
Sometimes the pastor would get up on
Sunday and look so tired - it wasn't from
preparing his homily on Saturday, but
trying to settle argumentative - competing
persons. Even though they were called to holy
work, they fought each other and were
jealous, envious and prideful.
The Pastor would get up and talk about
unity, but as soon as the Mass was over —
there would be fights between Sue and Judy
about cupcakes at the bake sale.
You say "Oh come on - it isn't
that bad" — What does subtle mean? —
It was more subtle than that — passive-
aggressive ways of competing for dominance —
blocking the vision as God wants for pride,
wanting to be better than their brother — Foolish
games of disharmony - power struggles —
Jealousies are from satan, if people
give in to jealousies they open a door to satan —
They are not acting in God's will. They may never
want to
recognize their own intrusion in blocking
God's holy plan — they are jealous, a vice and
bad habit, jealousy toward our brother is an emotion
with energy - negative energy. Like a hungry dog
from
the basement one acts because of a capital sin
toward another. It isn't like the lion
laying down
with the lamb for harmony
and peace. There is an
negative energy in these negative ways of hurting
the body of Christ.
Remember the song — "Proclaim the
Joyful Message"
I always liked this song —
I would see a time of harmony —
The lion laying down with the lamb —
The hills and valleys being leveled —
But today I know this —
God shows us the relationship of the
Persons of the Trinity - the most perfect
community.
From the Shepherds of Christ Priestly Newsletter 2000 - Issue 3
The Father's Will For Us - Our Source Of Peace
- Pope John Paul II instructs us: "The Church, as a reconciled and reconciling community, cannot forget that at the source of her gift and mission of reconciliation is the initiative, full of compassionate love and mercy, of that God who is love (see 1 John 4:8) and who out of love created human beings (see Wisdom 11:23-26; Genesis 1:27: Psalms 8:4-8)…He created them so that they might live in friendship with Him and in communion with one another.
"God is faithful to His eternal plan even when man, under the impulse of the evil one (see Wisdom 2:24) and carried away by his own pride, abuses the freedom given to him in order to love and generously seek what is good, and (instead) refuses to obey his Lord and Father. God is faithful even when man, instead of responding with love to God’s love, opposes Him and treats Him like a rival, deluding himself and relying on his own power, with the resulting break of relationship with the One who created him. In spite of this transgression on man’s part, God remains faithful in love.
"It is certainly true that the story of the Garden of Eden makes us think about the tragic consequences of rejecting the Father, which becomes evident in man’s inner disorder and in the breakdown of harmony between man and woman, brother and brother (see Genesis 3:12 ff; 4:1-16). Also significant is the Gospel parable of the two brothers (the parable of the ‘prodigal son’; see Luke 15:11-32) who, in different ways, distance themselves from their father and cause a rift between them. Refusal of God’s fatherly love and of His loving gifts is always at the root of humanity’s divisions.
"But we know that God…like the father in the parable (of the prodigal son), does not close His heart to any of His children. He waits for them, looks for them, goes to meet them at the place where the refusal of communion imprisons them in isolation and division. He calls them to gather about His table in the joy of the feast of forgiveness and reconciliation.
"This initiative on God’s part is made concrete and manifest in the redemptive act of Christ, which radiates through the world by means of the ministry of the Church." 13
13. Pope John Paul II, as in Celebrate 2000!, Servant Publications, pp. 140-141.
R. God wants harmony and love. We
can become so selfish and not focus
on the other. We don't have to bake
cookies for each other and shine each other's
shoes —
We must want God's plan and live in love —
Matthew 22: 36-40
'Master, which is the greatest commandment of the Law?' Jesus said to him, 'You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and the first commandment. The second resembles it: You must love your neighbour as yourself. On these two commandments hang the whole Law, and the Prophets too.'
R. Not be jealous, but happy when we each
do a job as God would desire
in unity and
working together helping souls to get to
know God - the love of the Sacred Heart
and Immaculate Heart.
Working in harmony according to God's will —
Some people won't even recognize
jealousies so they stay blinded and satan
works in this, blocking our own
mission - We work so hard —
for the Plan of God?
for God's honor and glory?
Or do we do it for ourselves — do we
operate for our honor and glory?
for our dominance?
We should operate for the honor and
glory of God.
Hidden ways we can "take-out" our
own work that God calls us to do
to help build His
Kingdom.
If it is God's will
Do it!
Don't give into jealousy, self-
promotion, envy, pride,
Don't make your brother an enemy
because of jealousy, pride, envy, anger.
The devil works in these 7 capital
sins to block us.
Pride, Greed, Envy, Wrath, Lust, Gluttony, Sloth
Prayer for Union with Jesus
Come to me, Lord, and possess my soul. Come into my heart and permeate my soul. Help me to sit in silence with You and let You work in my heart.
I am Yours to possess. I am Yours to use. I want to be selfless and only exist in You. Help me to spoon out all that is me and be an empty vessel ready to be filled by You. Help me to die to myself and live only for You. Use me as You will. Let me never draw my attention back to myself. I only want to operate as You do, dwelling within me.
I am Yours, Lord. I want to have my life in You. I want to do the will of the Father. Give me the strength to put aside the world and let You operate my very being. Help me to act as You desire. Strengthen me against the distractions of the devil to take me from Your work.
When I worry, I have taken my focus off of You and placed it on myself. Help me not to give in to the promptings of others to change what in my heart You are making very clear to me. I worship You, I adore You and I love You. Come and dwell in me now.
-God's Blue Book, January 17, 1994
R. Look at your feelings of jealousy
toward anyone in the Movement, in your
family, in the Church.
Accept God's vision — Pray to the Holy
Spirit — Do God's will —
Pray for guidance from the Holy Spirit.
Be grateful you were chosen —
Pray for the grace to love
Pray for the grace to have a heart like Jesus.
Dear God —
Thank you for the gift of the
Shepherds of Christ.
Thank you for this family of love —
Help our love to be seen as a unit
operating for this holy purpose of
spreading this mailing — these
Priestly Writings centered on
Consecration and the Eucharist —
the love of God - Father, Son and Holy Spirit —
unity with God and one another.
Dear God You have given these
Priestly Writings as your instrument
to nourish and touch so many priests —
God help us to see this gift you have
given and thank You for the
precious
writings You have given us — and the
beautiful
prayers of the Shepherds of Christ —
Help us to spread the prayer chapters
centered in Consecration to the world in all
the different languages and
the
consecration materials to schools
and families —
God You are love —
We are hypocrites if we do work
in church and fail to love and
promote unity with those God has
called us to work with.
You are love —
Love is oneness —
Love is knowing the Trinity —
Oneness is making all vital relationships
in the Shepherds of Christ to be as You desire
working full potential in purity as You
will according to Your vision to
promote Your love and unity to
the whole world —
through prayer —
through consecration to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary,
through devotion to the Eucharist,
through love for the priest, the Church
and the world —
Help us to heal old memories that
block us from being pure instruments —
Help us to let go of inordinate attachments —
Help us to be holy and united —
Help us to be glad at the accomplishments
of others doing Your will
and never jealous of one doing
Your work —
Help us to see the WIDE VISION —
the seeds You have planted and
not focus on a space just
between our ears — where we
can let thoughts of jealousy
and pride ferment and hurt us and
our brothers and block Your work.
Jealousy is wrong - we can give in to hurting
others we are to respect and love.
Pride is a weakness
Anger can eat at our heart
Lust - wanting more in any
relationship than God
wants —
even emotional bonding
that is dysfunctional
Song: Why Do We Hurt the Ones We Love
Real oneness promotes growth
Real oneness empowers
Real oneness recognizes God's vision
Real oneness - sees through God's eyes
the other in deepest love —
treasuring their gifts for
God's holy purpose - not
selfish gain —
A man could make nuts and bolts, but
in learning his skill - he learned patience,
duration, precision —
God called him to now put his talents
of patience, duration, precision to the
test of touching the whole world —
The man wanted to make nuts and bolts - he
didn't see the other gifts he learned
for the big mission.
Sometimes the lessons God is teaching
us may be hidden in the works we are producing
like putting out the nuts and bolts.
I taught math to adults at a particular
college for more than 16 years. They interviewed
students and they wrote an article on
the front of the paper about students
comments — I received a lot of
really good comments, but it was
how I handled the whole person
and their ability to grasp the subject
of math which intimidated some —
I told them "God created math in
the beginning and they could get it."
Today I do little math, but the skills I
had from loving people and teaching
them are what God has used to help
promote unity in the Shepherds of Christ.
God is always teaching us with each
person we encounter because we
are all so different, but we can be one -
empowered for this mission to spread the
Priestly Writings
and begin prayer chapters
around the world.
What is the motive force —
It was His plan from the beginning —
God wants the salvation of souls —
God wants us to do this work —
If I started writing down math formulas
now on this paper and talking about
higher degree polynomial functions —
I would not be doing God's will for
me now.
Since I was a baby and then 5 years old
when my mom died —
God has been teaching me for this
mission
Some skills like producing equations —
making lasagna, nursing babies
I don't use anymore —
But I learned to love, to relate to give
to rely on Jesus, to write the Blue Book
Messages of Jesus, to help form the Shepherds
of Christ Community to do this work, after 18 years,
we can send this mailing to the world.
Today Jesus is calling us in the Shepherds of Christ
to put all our skills to work to form a
unit with our unique talents —
a unit powered by genuine love as
God intends for His holy purpose and
to commit in some level to this
calling as a
Shepherds of Christ handmaid
servant
apostle
associate
Apostle of the Eucharistic Heart
Prayer Apostle and
say yes to this vocation —
To not give into jealousy
To not give into pride
To be holy, loving, peaceful and
to recognize —
His might
His mission
His calling to us to be united —
A family helping the world to know
the love of God
The peace and treasures in the Hearts
of Jesus and Mary —
To help the world to love and be grateful
for the Church —
to help strengthen it by our
prayers and spread this knowledge
of this marvelous gift to the world —
Yes - when we accept our vocation in
the Shepherds of Christ —
we are doing these things
Loving and Strengthening
the priests, the Church and the world —
Jesus called you to this mission
Mary called you at Clearwater —
Sing song: The Lady is Calling
Think of how Clearwater was
a calling through these
past 16 years
A calling to YOU! A calling to me!
A calling to Fr. Carter —
After the 4th anniversary
December 17, 2000 —
Fr. Carter died December 18, 2000
after the 6:20 prayers
For 12 years God has brought us
to this great gift.
Today we give you these comments
received from hierarchy and priests.
These writings in the mailing are a gift.
Please pray — help spread these books —

The prayers of the Shepherds of Christ

God has blessed us —
Help us respond to this call —

Shepherds of Christ
John 17: 21-23
May they all be one,
just as, Father, you are in me
and I am in you,
so that they also may be in us,
so that the world may believe
it was you who sent me.
I have given them the glory
you gave to me,
that they may be one as we are one.
With me in them and you in me,
may they be so perfected in unity
that the world will recognise
that it was you who sent me
and that you have loved them
as you have loved me.
R. Please help us with prayer and support.
I would be willing to support the hierarchy
mailing and the mailing of Fr. Joe's new homily book, Cycle C, to
all priests in the United States and the hierarchy with a donation.

After the novena, read the appropriate meditation. For example: period 1, day 1; period 1, day 2; etc. This will continue until further indicated.
It is enormously important that you feel as a body praying together, asking for the special coming of the Holy Spirit.
After the meditation say: "We consecrate the Movement, Our Lady of the Holy Spirit Center, the Church and the world to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and to the Immaculate Heart of Mary."
Ask that the Blood of Jesus be spread on the Movement, Our Lady of the Holy Spirit Center, the Church and the world.

II. Begin the 6:30 prayer service
Begin praying: Dear Father in the name of Your Son Jesus, in the Holy Spirit, through the powerful intercession of the Virgin Mary, with all the angels and the saints and the souls in purgatory, we join in one mind and one heart and ask the Holy Spirit to come to all the world in a special way, especially to our priests. We pray all prayers for the priests and the renewal of the Church and the world and for the Shepherds of Christ intentions. By the precious Body and Blood of Jesus we cast out Satan far from this place, our families, the Shepherds of Christ Movement, Our Lady of the Holy Spirit Center, the Church and the world. We ask the Blood of Jesus be spread on us, the Shepherds of Christ Movement, Our Lady of the Holy Spirit Center, the Church and the world. We beg for grace and mercy for the world and wish to make reparation to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary. We give our hearts to Jesus and Mary with all gathered here in love. We wish to be forgiven for offending one another. We love You God, help us.
Sing A Song from Jesus. Refrain: "I come to you with greatest love, I am your loving Savior. I am your God, I died for you, I come to you this day."

Guiding Light homily series — Reflect on the Word — Cycle B The Word leaves an impression on our souls. In my thoughts and reflections are born a more tangible understanding of these eternal concepts presented in the Gospels and the readings. Anyone can read a sentence, but not anyone can absorb it's true meaning. Truth, in this day and age, is almost a matter of opinion or individual entitlement. We believe that Christ's truth is our Roman Catholic Church. We, as priests, champion it's teachings; we are ambassadors for the Pope and Christ to those faces looking at us. We are the light by which our congregation reads to reflect upon real truth and we do it hand in hand. $15 |
|
Guiding Light homily series — Steadfast to the Son — Cycle A The sunflower is a great example of how we should be steadfastly guided by light. What a powerful thought that this exceptional plant is not stuck in one pose day in and day out, yet adaptable and magnetized to the sun. We feel the same about our Son. Our heads turns to face Christ as each day presents its challenges to find light. We join together like plants in a field and soak up the Son through the pulpit. We are a warm circle of strength using the wind of our breath to carry our priests' words, Christ's words, to new rich soil. $15 | ||
|
Guiding Light — Feed My Soul — Cycle C In a world rapidly advancing and encouraging personal gain, we are faced with modern problems. There is a challenge to find time in our busy schedules for Sunday Mass or a family meal. We are able to research, shop, bank and even work without hearing one human voice. It is no wonder that we may often feel disconnected and famished at our week's end. In Fr. Joe's third book of homilies from Cycle C, we are reminded of the charity that Christ intended us to show each other. We have a calling to turn the other cheek and be the Good Samaritan to others. We are rewarded with the Father's kingdom and love when we are not worthy. We are not left alone or hungry. $15 |
Guiding Light — Focusing on the Word — Cycle B At times we may feel that our path to Christ is a bit "out of focus". Like the disciples in the Book of Mark, this ordinary life clouds our vision of Christ's Divinity. We may doubt the practicality or possibility of applying His teachings and example to our modern life. Cycle B's homilies are a "guiding light" to help us realize Jesus' Messianic greatness and His promise of better things to come. $15 |
|
Guiding Light — The Word Alive in Our Hearts. — Cycle A (partial) Homilies by the Reverend Joe Robinson given at St. Boniface Church in Cincinnati, Ohio. It is a tremendous honor Fr. Joe has allowed us to share these great gifts with you – for greater holiness and knowing more and more about God. $10 |
