Psalm 97: 5

                "Let the mountains melt like wax ..."

                R. Oh God Your path You make clear to us –

                You teach us in the recesses of our soul –

                We seek and we find and
                In it all – it is Your grace working
                    powerfully in our actions that
                    produce the results –

                To me fear is an enemy satan used and
                    like yesterday a priest from the
                    seminary told the children at Mass –
                    When a person keeps doing bad things
                    against God's will – it becomes habits
                    they do – and it is hard for them
                    to do good things – because they
                    keep practicing the bad things –

                The priest was so good – teaching little children
                    to grade 8 – he asked questions of the
                    children based on yesterday's Gospel –
                    He talked about the Gospel and
                    demons and the children gave
                    very good answers –

                These daily readings are teachings in
                    Mass to teach us the truth –
                    The Word is a two-edged sword –
                    God feeds us with His Word –
                    We are to have the Word in our
                    hearts. We live the Word –
                    We are living as God wants –

                Rebelling against the Word – means
                    like the seeds in the Sunday Gospel
                    that fell on rough ground and took
                    no root at all.

                Jesus: Meditate deeply on the Word at Mass
                    and open your heart to live the
                    Word. I am life, I come that you
                    will have life abundantly –
                    I am the giver of life –
                    I want to give you the fullness of
                    life in eternal life –
                    Why would a man turn from this?
                    This takes faith, My children –
                    If a man has a closed heart and
                    lives to control everything –
                    his path is his own concoction"
                    bad habits are hard to break, but
                    why did the person choose bad things
                    against God's instruction when
                    they could have – easily chosen
                    to live UNDER God, according
                    to God's Plan –

                You must learn to let go – more and more
                    and more to God – to live the Word
                    of God – to be fed at the table of
                    God –

                    It isn't you who, control a supper
                    when one invites you to the Feast –
                    the person holding the feast gives to
                    you and you receive and eat and
                    enjoy –

                How do you attend Mass?

                I call you to the Banquet of the Lord.

                You are fed at My table!

                I give you the Liturgy of the Word –
                    You ask the Holy Spirit to fill you to
                    help you to live the Gospel in
                    your lives –
                    to learn from the Gospel

                So if the seed falls on cement, does it
                    produce flowers –
                    the children would say –
                    "No" . . . .

                If the seed falls on sand and thistles
                    and rocks – does it produce
                    flowers –

                The children would say –

                    No –

                Who is in charge when you go to
                    Mass?

                Mass is a gift I give to you –

                The outpouring of My grace on the
                    world and the Church –

                You are fed at the table of the Lord –

                A man went out to dinner and he
                    was persnickety – he ordered his
                    food – every time and sent it
                    back – another was not
                    kind to the server –

                Will they have a pleasant experience at
                    dinner? How about those dinning
                    with them and serving the meal
                    and paying for the meal –

                Going out to dinner is like a team
                    effort – The server is a
                    part of the process of giving
                    and the person receiving
                    is the recipient.
                    There should be love in everything
                    you do. The eyes of the Lord look
                    down upon you and you should
                    be a witness before all of
                    love and joy and comradery –

                Negative behavior, respect for others,
                    taking down the house, disrespect
                    of authority, controlling and not
                    giving or receiving kindly are
                    bad habits –

       

Prayer for Union with Jesus

Come to me, Lord, and possess my soul. Come into my heart and permeate my soul. Help me to sit in silence with You and let You work in my heart.

    I am Yours to possess. I am Yours to use. I want to be selfless and only exist in You. Help me to spoon out all that is me and be an empty vessel ready to be filled by You. Help me to die to myself and live only for You. Use me as You will. Let me never draw my attention back to myself. I only want to operate as You do, dwelling within me.F

    I am Yours, Lord. I want to have my life in You. I want to do the will of the Father. Give me the strength to put aside the world and let You operate my very being. Help me to act as You desire. Strengthen me against the distractions of the devil to take me from Your work.

    When I worry, I have taken my focus off of You and placed it on myself. Help me not to give in to the promptings of others to change what in my heart You are making very clear to me. I worship You, I adore You and I love You. Come and dwell in me now.

                Jesus: Mass is the Great Gift, the Royal Banquet
                    I give to you –
                    Mass is so the recipient is so
                        one in the Mass they are
                        a participant and full
                        of love, for such a gift –

                    The Word is a gift given – so
                        the Word lives in your
                        lives –

                You say

                    "Come to me Lord and possess
                        my soul"

                The wise will hear My letter and
                    listen,
                    but the seed that falls on
                    cement bears no yield –

                The heart open and docile to the
                    touch of God receives the gift.

                Did you ever notice how life is
                    letting go more and more to the
                    things you may have once
                    took for granted?

                You remember running and jumping
                    and moving so quickly –

                You remember when things were not
                    so hard to do, because you didn't
                    even have to think about
                    the effort to be at Mass and
                    attend with an open heart –
                    your body was younger and
                    it was easy to go in –

                Letting go –

                    Letting go of friends and family –
                        that die –

                    Letting go of hearing, vision,
                teeth, that may cause trouble –
                like an old car in need of some
                fixing.

                    Letting go of eating whatever you
                want, being able to stay up
                and light the town –

                    Letting go of Grandmas and Grandpas
                of children and grandchildren
                and wanting them to live a prosperous
                holy life of love when you die.

                    Letting go of house and money
                and car and loved ones and not
                even knowing when the angel of
                death may call on your door with
                a dreaded disease.

                    If such uncertainties are yours,
                why would your habits be negative
                to not live every day to be a
                witness for God and live His
                Plan as He asked you – like
                the Virgin Mary – to do your
                part in the work of redemption
                with joy?

                    The wise will hear Me and the
                man with no goal will not listen.
                The goal is eternal life for yourselves
                and for others, to love and to be loved –

                You were created by God for a purpose and
                    I want to be so deeply united in
                    love in your life.
                    This is My letter – to wake up
                    and never waste an opportunity
                    to grow –
                    grow like the seed planted on
                        good ground –
                    grow like the docile child of God –
                    grow and know God is with you
                        now, but you must change –
                        you must seek conversion
                        before it is too late –

                The man settling in – is wasting
                    precious time –

                The journey isn't over until it's
                    over –

                I carried My cross to the hill of
                    Calvary, I mounted it and
                    I died for your sins –

                Your journey is your life – don't
                    put down your cross – I
                    never put down Mine –
                    I did the Father's will –
                    I died for your sins –

                You are the servants of the Lord –

                Listen to Mary
 

And Mary said:

My soul proclaims
    the greatness of the Lord
and my spirit rejoices
    in God my Saviour;
because he has looked upon
    the humiliation of his servant.
Yes, from now onwards
    all generations will call me blessed,
for the Almighty
    has done great things for me.
Holy is his name,
and his faithful love extends age after age
    to those who fear him.
He has used the power of his arm,
he has routed the arrogant of heart.
He has pulled down princes
    from their thrones
        and raised high the lowly.
He has filled the starving with good things,
    sent the rich away empty.

                Jesus: Elizabeth was not half asleep –
                    settled in –
                    in her old age she recognized
                        God –
                    she recognized Mary –
                    she was bearing fruit in
                        her old age –
                        Mother of John the Baptist –

                I was born, I took flesh –
                    I am Jesus, the Son of God –
                    to teach you how to be
                        sons of God –

                What is your program?

                Is it the Father's Plan for your life?

                Are you living to bring unity and
                    love and

                Are you a blessing to know?

                Have you served God?

                Have you supped at the table
                    of the Lord, the
                    Royal banquet?

                Do you ignore the Gospel –
                    instead of living it?

                Be obedient to God –

                I died for you –

                I died and rose so you could have
                    life to the full some day
                    don't waste it –

                I am in that cross today you are carrying –
                    pick it up and rejoice on
                    your journey to Me –

                I am the Son of Justice –

                Do you serve God –

                Do you live to work the
                    Father's Pan?

                Are you seed on good ground?

                Every minute you live is
                    a precious gift to
                    serve God in love –
                    I am God, I will have
                    no gods before Me.

                Your days are numbered –

                Serve the Lord your God
                    with your whole
                    heart, your whole soul
                    and your whole being and

                love your neighbor as
                    yourself.

                I am Jesus, the Son of God –

                R. What impedes us from God's
                grace?

                    my sins, my attachments –

                Dear God help me to die to those things not
                    likened to You.

                Oh Mary we love you so much –

                Dear God please have mercy on us.

                Oh God help us – pour out Your
                    mercy - Oh God please hear
                    our prayer.

                Mary: Near is the Day of the Lord –

                    Do not ignore your Father, my
                        children – listen to me,
                        I am Mary your Mother –

                    Open your gates, my children
                        your heart must sleep no longer –

                Jesus: I am a just judge – do not
                    close your heart to God –

                Song: I Am a God of Justice!

                Mary: Look to the Lord –

                    Glorify your God –

                Close not down your hearts,
                    but open them as children
                    nursing at the breast of
                    their mother.
 

                R. We look to God –

                    God is great indeed –
                    God has infinite power.

                We see the Babylonian exile
                    and we see the Jews were called
                    to rebuild their land.

                We see that Jesus came and He
                    is God – Jesus came to teach
                    us about God –
                    God calls us to help in the
                        work of redemption –
                        to be witnesses – to rebuild
                        our land - NOW –

                Jesus shed His precious
                    Blood for us – so
                    we can go to heaven forever –

                We are fools to ignore this
                    great gift God has given –

                God loves us so much –
                    He remains in the
                        Eucharist – truly present
                        in His Divinity and
                        humanity –

                We are limited in our vision and
                    yet God elevates our knowing
                    and loving capacity in baptism –

                God calls us to develop this
                    capacity and this depends on
                    His grace given to us and
                    our cooperation with this –

                Our lives as they are now are
                    limited – our goal is to
                    be on eternal life in
                    heaven forever –

                God is the Creator we are the
                    creatures – He gave us
                    our life and He has a
                    plan for us –

                R. Dear God, increase in us the virtues
                    of faith, hope and love – help
                    us to see the beyond –
                    Dear God - give us greater
                    vision –

                We go to God to know God –

                We are docile to the counsel
                    of the Holy Spirit, we seek wisdom,
                    we seek heartfelt love

                Dear God – we love You –
                Dear God thank You for these gifts –

                    this vision –
                    help us to see reality as You
                    want us to see

                Dear God You are so great
                    indeed and we love You

                    know You ever more
                    deeply.

    ... In reference to Christianity, God himself is the ultimate mystery. Radically, God is completely other and transcendent, hidden from man in his inner life, unless he chooses to reveal himself. Let us briefly look at this inner life of God.

    The Father, in a perfect act of self-expression, in a perfect act of knowing, generates his son. The Son, the Word, is, then, the immanent expression of God's fullness, the reflection of the Father. Likewise, from all eternity, the Father and the Son bring forth the Holy Spirit in a perfect act of loving.

    At the destined moment in human history, God's self-expression, the Word, immersed himself into man's world. God's inner self-expression now had also become God's outer self-expression. Consequently, the mystery of God becomes the mystery of Christ. In Christ, God tells us about himself, about his inner life, about his plan of creation and redemption. He tells us how Father, Son, and Holy Spirit desire to dwell within us in the most intimate fashion, how they wish to share with us their own life through grace. All this he has accomplished and does accomplish through Christ. St. Paul tells us: "I became a minister of this

Matthew 3: 13-17
