Mary:
I am Our Lady of Clearwater.
Clear - Water.

In the Presentation in the Temple we meditate on the sacrifice of Jesus.
A sword too will pierce your heart, oh Mary.
Mary wasn’t afraid to trust.
Mary wasn’t afraid to suffer.

We were created to know, love, and serve God.
Created to know Him - so many ignore the teaching God gives in the Word.
The Word and the Eucharist is the Bread of Life.
This is to feed the sharing in God’s life given in baptism. Where would
we be in physical life without food?
The Word is given to teach us, to feed us, for us to live by in the
spiritual life.
God gives us the commandments to obey.
God gives us the Church.
Knowing God is what we are to center our life on.
A person listening to Satan goes backward.
They think they know it all.
Like not wanting to learn a better way and living in a cave and throwing
rocks.
Pride is a deadly sin.
The person puts themselves first, always right, even above God.
Humility is truth. A person admits their weaknesses, does not deny the
truth about their sins.
We were created to know, love, and serve God.
How do we know God? We must go to God, want to learn, admit our sins.
We love by working in love with others as God commands us to do.
How warp it is to be jealous, envious, and prideful of people God puts
in our lives over us to help us grow and produce.
God in justice intends us to give - to serve now and for future
generations.
It’s injustice, to be called in one’s vocation to serve, witness, bring
growth and instead to operate, to serve Satan in the deadly sins of
pride, anger, jealousy, envy, thwarting growth, as God intends, to go
backward.
Like living in a cold cave to be in control.
Matthew 22:
36-40
‘Master, which is the greatest commandment of the Law?’ Jesus said to
him, ‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart,
with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and
the first commandment. The second resembles it: You must love your
neighbour as yourself. On these two commandments hang the whole
Law, and the Prophets too.’

Our Lady of Clear-water tells us of humility, obedience to God’s
will. Mary is our model. Mary, Our Lady of Clear-Water, perfect handmaid
of Jesus.
It’s like yesterday’s readings - we may know what God calls for, for
eternal life, but we tell God it’s too much for us and we won’t do it.
We have a choice.
We are sinners and we are learners.
The deadly sins serve Satan not God.
They are pride - putting yourself before God and authority, anger, envy,
jealousy, slothfulness, lust and gluttony. It is a mean, bitter sport.
God is love and in Him is no darkness.
The man who loves God is a learner, is open, faithful, hopeful, loving,
giving and receiving love.
We were created to know, love, and serve God. We were created in the
image of God.
We are called to bear fruit for the Kingdom of God.
We are called to operate as God operates in us for the building of God’s
Kingdom here on earth. To be instruments for God.
We can’t do what we want if we want to go to heaven and be bitter,
resentful and never make amends.
Heaven is for lovers.
We learn to love here below by living in love, obedience to God’s law
not making right - wrong and wrong - right. That is serving Satan.
It’s a choice, we have a free will. Some tell themselves God is asking
too much to go to heaven and choose to go backward with their free will.
We were created to know, love and serve God.
It’s our choice to be learners, servers of God and Lovers as God intends
and to follow Jesus. Or go backwards.
Jesus:
I am the way, the truth and the life.
