Consecration Prayer for Peace
I consecrate Russia and the Ukraine to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
I further consecrate the priests, the Church and the world to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary.
I do this in the name of Jesus in as far as I am able, united to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, praying to the Father, in the Holy Spirit, with all the angels and saints and the souls in purgatory through the powerful intercession of Mary, Queen of Peace. Amen.
I further consecrate myself, all members of my family and ask the Holy Spirit to fill us. I spread the Blood of Jesus on all above, I cast the devil into hell away from all of us and consecrate all persons, in as far as I am able, to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart.
Prayer for Grace for Election and our Country
Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our president and leaders. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.
October 16, 2023 Feast of St. Margaret Mary
Don’t you love the parables
from Jesus.
Jesus gives us Himself in the
Eucharist.
Some come, some do not.
I love the Eucharist.
It is such a gift, that Jesus
comes to us Body, Blood, Soul
and Divinity.
I thank God for this most
precious gift.
Jesus is truly present in the
Eucharist.
Jesus is the bridegroom of
our soul.
I love the parables of Jesus.
I love the miracles He
performed.
Jesus is teaching me
everyday.
He invites us to this Sacred
Banquet. We can say “yes” or
not even go to the Banquet.
Oh Heavenly Father, thank
You for loving us and giving us
Jesus, Your Son.
Thank you for the priest.
Without the priest we would
not have the Eucharist.
Why isn’t everyone praying
for the priests, the Church and
the world.
What a precious gift God has
given to us in this vocation.
Oh God, I love You.
Oh God I run to the Divine
Banquet.
I love You so much.!!!!!
God calls us to love.
When we love we are most
like Jesus.
Jesus operates in us to those
in our lives.
Like an open pipe, we don’t
block His love flowing to the
world.
We don’t take the credit when
God is accomplishing things
through us.
God calls us to serve Him.
Fr. Carter always said: “Mary
obeyed God’s will whether
asked to carry a Boulder or a
pebble.
That is the hard thing when
we feel very weak and God
asks us to carry something
heavy.
When we are weak, we are
strong in God.
Dear God, Please help me to
love and serve You as You call
me too.
I thought of two handmaids
that passed- Betty and
Margaret.
Betty spent 17 years in China
before the Blessed
Sacrament.
She always smiled.
Here is a picture in her wheel
chair.
She suffered very much
physically and never
complained.
Margaret was in Florida a lot.
She ran the Rosary Factory.
She had lupus she was very
sick at the end, but both
handmaids loved being the
Spouse of Jesus as a
handmaid of the Good
Shepherd.
Rosie and Margaret
Also Sophie was a handmaid
17 years.
She was the sacristan and
loved Jesus dearly.
She loved the Eucharist in
China, she loved the Songs
from Jesus.
She was mostly in China,
always in the Church.
R. God intends us to trust
each other and help each
other.
Sometimes we learn the
best lessons for love and
spiritual growth in the
hardest circumstances.
God’s ways are the best
ways for our lives.
Sufferings can help us to
grow in ever realization of
our dependency on God.
Letting go and having faith
helps us grow in intimacy
with God.
Walking with Him and
trusting in Him.
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus,
we place our trust in Thee.
Life here on earth is not
promised to us. Every day is
a precious gift from God.1 John 4: 17-21
Love comes to its perfection in us when we can face the Day of Judgement fearlessly, because even in this world we have become as he is. In love there is no room for fear, but perfect love drives out fear, because fear implies punishment and no one who is afraid has come to perfection in love. Let us love, then, because he first loved us. Anyone who says 'I love God' and hates his brother, is a liar, since whoever does not love the brother whom he can see cannot love God whom he has not seen. Indeed this is the commandment we have received from him, that whoever loves God, must also love his brother.
R. We were created by God
our Father, our Creator,
He loves us so much and
our true home is in heaven.
Trust in God!
Love builds a bridge that
leads to eternal happiness,
when it is God’s will.1 Corinthians 13: 4-8
Love is always patient and kind; love is never jealous; love is not boastful or conceited, it is never rude and never seeks its own advantage, it does not take offence or store up grievances. Love does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but finds its joy in the truth. It is always ready to make allowances, to trust, to hope and to endure whatever comes. Love never comes to an end...
John 3:16For this is how God loved the world:
he gave his only Son,
so that everyone who believes in him
may not perish
but may have eternal life.R. Love is found in giving
ourselves to God.
Come to me Lord and
possess my soul.
October 2, 2023
R. Dear Holy Spirit,
I love You!! Come and
possess my soul.
Infuse in my intellect
knowledge, wisdom and
understanding.
Help me know the Father’s
will.
Please give me the grace I
need most!
Help me now.
Please give me Your gifts.
Love gives for the good of
the other.
Fr. Carter says: Sin is
refusing to love.
God commands us to love.
God is love.
When we die, God will ask
us: How did we love.
Contemplative Prayer
Presence - we begin praying
and focus on presence.
From Response to God’s Love by Fr. Edward Carter, S.J.
Love is what it is all about. Jesus himself has told us this. We are and we become Christians to the extent that we love. Love gives meaning to our lives; it is the motivating force that allows us to endure the boredom of prosaic everydayness, and it is also the motivating factor that enables us to undertake the magnanimous, namely, that which tries our creative and staying power to the utmost. Love allows us to dream dreams; it also gives us the courage to implement these dreams in concrete achievement despite the fear, the anxiety, the pain, and the weariness that we experience along the way. Love allows us to bear with the ugliness of evil in the world; it also allows us to see that, despite this ugliness, the truth, the beauty, and the goodness of God's creation is even more manifest. Love accomplishes all this and much more; it is for all seasons and for all circumstances. Love is now.
From the Priestly Newsletter - 2000 Issue 2Our new life in Jesus has arisen out of God’s fathomless love. Christ, in His descent into human flesh, has established a milieu of love. The life He came to give can flourish only in the framework of love. Indeed, we can summarize the meaning of the Christian life by stating that it is our loving response to God’s love. The pierced Heart of Jesus, this Heart which shed its last drop of blood in the greatest love for each one of us, is the symbol of God’s tremendous love for us. Christ’s Heart also calls us to respond by giving ourselves in love to God and neighbor. Yes, Jesus invites us to respond to God’s love by giving ourselves in love to Him in an ever closer union. The more closely we are united to Him, the greater is our capacity to love God and neighbor. The more closely we are united with Jesus, the more closely He unites us to the Father in the Holy Spirit, with Mary our Mother at our side.
Deuteronomy 33:27The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms...
Deuteronomy 31:6Be strong, stand firm, have no fear, do not be afraid of them, for Yahweh your God is going with you; he will not fail you or desert you.'

thousand years ago.
Today He walks the earth
through His members.
He wants us to reach out to
others, today, as members

The Ascension
1. Luke 24:50-53Then he took them out as far as the outskirts of Bethany, and raising his hands he blessed them. Now as he blessed them, he withdrew from them and was carried up to heaven. They worshipped him and then went back to Jerusalem full of joy; and they were continually in the Temple praising God.

and the life.

is his body, the fullness of
him who fills the universe in
all its parts."
Ephesians 1:22
4. The world belongs to Jesus.

God in baptism.
8. Matthew 22: 36-40
The greatest commandment of all
But when the Pharisees heard that he had silenced the Sadducees they got together and, to put him to the test, one of them put a further question, ‘Master, which is the greatest commandment of the Law?’ Jesus said to him, ‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and the first commandment. The second resembles it: You must love your neighbour as yourself. On these two commandments hang the whole Law, and the Prophets too.’
9. God is love. He calls us to
love.
10. People should see the
Christ that lives in us.
The Descent of the Holy Spirit on the Apostles
1. Acts 2: 1-4When Pentecost day came round, they had all met together, when suddenly there came from heaven a sound as of a violent wind which filled the entire house in which they were sitting; and there appeared to them tongues as of fire; these separated and came to rest on the head of each of them. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak different languages as the Spirit gave them power to express themselves.
2. The Apostles were transformed
from fear to fearlessness.
3. The Holy Spirit came on them
in tongues of fire above their
heads.
4. The Holy Spirit makes us
more alive in Him.
5. We must open our hearts,
ask the Holy Spirit to
possess your soul.

air can’t get in.
We must open our hearts to
the Holy Spirit.
7. Dear Holy Spirit help us to
open to you.
Dear Holy Spirit come and
possess my soul.
8. Dear Holy Spirit infuse in
my intellect the gifts of
wisdom, and knowledge
and understanding.
9. Dear Holy Spirit help us
to lovingly conform to the
will of God.
10. Sing: Veni Sancte SpiritusFrom the Lectionary
Pentecost Sequence
Come, Holy Spirit, come!
And from your celestial home
Shed a ray of light divine!Come, Father of the poor!
Come, source of all our store!
Come, within our bosoms shine!You, of comforters the best;
You, the soul's most welcome guest;
Sweet refreshment here below;In our Labor, rest most sweet;
Grateful coolness in the heat;
Solace in the midst of woe.O most blessed Light divine,
Shine within these hearts of yours,
And our inmost being fill!Where you are not, man has naught,
Nothing good in deed or thought,
Nothing free from taint of ill!Heal our wounds, our strength renew;
On our dryness pour your dew;
Wash the stains of guilt away;Bend the stubborn heart and will;
Melt the frozen, warm the chill;
Guide the steps that go astray. On the faithful, who adore
And confess you, evermore
In your sev'nfold gift descend;Give them virtue's sure reward;
Give them your salvation, Lord;
Give them joys that never end. Amen.
Alleluia.

Mary and the Priest
The Directory of the Ministry and Life of Priests tells us: "There is an ‘essential rapport … between the Mother of Jesus and the priesthood of the ministry of the Son,’ stemming from the existing one between the divine maternity of Mary and the priesthood of Christ."In light of such a rapport, Marian spirituality is rooted in every priest. Priestly spirituality could not be considered complete if it were to fail to include the message of Christ’s words on the Cross, in which He conferred His Mother to the beloved disciple, and, through him, to all priests called to continue his work of redemption.
"Like John at the foot of the Cross, every priest has been entrusted, in a special way, with Mary as Mother (cf Jn 19:26-27).
"Priests, who are among the favored disciples of Jesus, crucified and risen, should welcome Mary as their Mother in their own life, bestowing her with constant attention and prayer. The Blessed Virgin then becomes the Mother who leads them to Christ, who makes them sincerely love the Church, who intercedes for them and guides them toward the Kingdom of heaven…
"But they are not devout sons if they do not know how to imitate the virtues of Mary. The priest will look to Mary to be a humble, obedient and chaste minister and to give testimony of charity in the total surrender to God and the Church."
99. Directory on the Ministry and Life of Priests, No. 68, as in Inside the Vatican, Special Supplement, November, 1994, p. 25.
9. Priestly Newsletter Book III - 2000 Issue 1The Father and Mary
Redemptor Hominis (Redeemer of Man) Pope John Paul II states: “The special characteristic of the motherly love that the Mother of God inserts in the mystery of the Redemption and the life of the Church finds expression in its exceptional closeness to man and all that happens to him. It is in this that the mystery of the Mother consists. The Church, which looks to her with altogether special love and hope, wishes to make this mystery her own in an ever deeper manner... “The Father’s eternal love, which has been manifested in the history of mankind through the Son whom the Father gave... comes close to each of us through this Mother and thus takes on tokens that are of more easy understanding and access by each person.” 3In his Encyclical,

Man), United States

10. Priestly Newsletter Book II - September/October 1997
In all this Mary offers an example. Selfishness was totally foreign to her. She did not belong to herself. She belonged to God. She was not closed in upon herself. She was completely open to God. When God spoke, she listened. When God pointed the way, she followed. She realized that life is not a process a person masters by carefully mapping out one's own self-conceived plans of conquest, but a mystery to be gradually experienced by being open to God's personal and loving guidance.
Selfishness, then, did not close Mary off from God's call. Neither did fear. God asked her to assume a tremendous responsibility. He asked her to be the Mother of Jesus. Mary did not engage in a process of false humility and say that such a great role was above her. She did not say that she did not have the proper qualifications for this awesome mission. Briefly, she did not waste time looking at herself, making pleas that she was not worthy, telling the angel he had better go look for someone else. No, Mary did not look at herself. Her gaze was absorbed in God. She fully realized that whatever God asked of her, His grace would accomplish. She fully realized that although she herself had to cooperate, this work was much more God's than hers.
Mary's words, then, truly sum up what is the authentic Christian response at any point of life, in any kind of situation: "I am the handmaid of the Lord," said Mary, "let what you have said be done to me".

Guiding Light homily series — Reflect on the Word — Cycle B The Word leaves an impression on our souls. In my thoughts and reflections are born a more tangible understanding of these eternal concepts presented in the Gospels and the readings. Anyone can read a sentence, but not anyone can absorb it's true meaning. Truth, in this day and age, is almost a matter of opinion or individual entitlement. We believe that Christ's truth is our Roman Catholic Church. We, as priests, champion it's teachings; we are ambassadors for the Pope and Christ to those faces looking at us. We are the light by which our congregation reads to reflect upon real truth and we do it hand in hand. $10 |
Guiding Light homily series — Steadfast to the Son — Cycle A The sunflower is a great example of how we should be steadfastly guided by light. What a powerful thought that this exceptional plant is not stuck in one pose day in and day out, yet adaptable and magnetized to the sun. We feel the same about our Son. Our heads turns to face Christ as each day presents its challenges to find light. We join together like plants in a field and soak up the Son through the pulpit. We are a warm circle of strength using the wind of our breath to carry our priests' words, Christ's words, to new rich soil. $10 |
Guiding Light — Focusing on the Word — Cycle B At times we may feel that our path to Christ is a bit "out of focus". Like the disciples in the Book of Mark, this ordinary life clouds our vision of Christ's Divinity. We may doubt the practicality or possibility of applying His teachings and example to our modern life. Cycle B's homilies are a "guiding light" to help us realize Jesus' Messianic greatness and His promise of better things to come. $10 |
Guiding Light — Feed My Soul — Cycle C In a world rapidly advancing and encouraging personal gain, we are faced with modern problems. There is a challenge to find time in our busy schedules for Sunday Mass or a family meal. We are able to research, shop, bank and even work without hearing one human voice. It is no wonder that we may often feel disconnected and famished at our week's end. In Fr. Joe's third book of homilies from Cycle C, we are reminded of the charity that Christ intended us to show each other. We have a calling to turn the other cheek and be the Good Samaritan to others. We are rewarded with the Father's kingdom and love when we are not worthy. We are not left alone or hungry. $10 |
