A Prayer for Intimacy with the Lamb, the Bridegroom of the Soul

Oh Lamb of God, Who take away the sins of the world, come and act on my soul most intimately. Excerpt from Tell My People

The Two Hearts and the Mass

Jesus speaks: "My beloved friend, tell My people that they are living in the Age of the Two Hearts--that of My Heart and My Mother's heart. My people live in the initial stages of this great era. I call all My people to take up their refuge in My Heart and My Mother's heart. In Our Hearts they will become more and more transformed into My likeness.

"The greatest source for growth in devotion to Our Hearts is the Eucharist. I wish My people to attend Mass often, daily if possible. What a great gift I have given to My people in the Eucharist! Yet many of My people are indifferent to the treasures contained in the Mass. Think of it! My people are privileged to offer the Sacrifice of the Mass together with Me! And yet how many prefer to do other things rather than attend Mass. How this attitude offends My Sacred Heart!

"I long for My people to participate in the Mass and to receive Me worthily! Think of it! I, Who am your God, long to come to you each day! In the Eucharist I come to you in My Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity. Present within you, I long to take you close to My Sacred Heart, this Heart which is truly within you. The more you allow Me to do so, the more closely I press you to this Heart. I shower you with its riches. I abundantly give you great graces which increasingly form you in My likeness.

"I am Lord and Master! Please listen to My words. Pray, pray for a deeper understanding of the Mass. In union with Mary, approach Me daily in the Eucharist. I, your God, long to come to you. How much do you long to receive Me?"

Reflection: Everything in the life of the Church, and in the Christian lives of each of us individually, is centered in the Mass. Vatican II, in a few words, makes a powerful statement concerning the Church's Liturgy--at the center of which is the Eucharistic Sacrifice: ". . .in the liturgy is the summit toward which the activity of the Church is directed; at the same time it is the fountain from which all her power flows" [The Documents of Vatican II, Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy, No.10 (American Press edition)].

Messenger: We can ask our Father to give us the grace to participate in the Mass more profoundly.

We can ask for the grace to live the Mass ever more dynamically.

We can petition the Father for this grace united to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary in the unity of the Holy Spirit.

Our founder wrote about the spiritual life in the Spirituality Handbook. It is so concise and so beautiful. All Shepherds of Christ members should carry this little book and read it. It is available in a little book that looks like this. It is blue.

Messenger: From this book, I have been directed to take our Mass entry for today.

Mass Book II Entry

Through Him, With Him and In Him

The Mass and the Sacraments (from the Spirituality Handbook)

The best way to return love to Jesus is through participation in the Mass. Indeed, the Mass is the chief source for growth in our life of consecration. Everything in the life of the Church, including the sacraments--centers around the Eucharistic Sacrifice.

All the faithful are privileged to be able to enter into the offering of the Mass:

"The sacrifice of the Mass, as we well know, makes truly present the sacrifice of Calvary. At His sacrifice on Calvary, Christ was Priest and Victim. We obviously did not offer together with Him. At the Mass, however, Christ, although He is the chief Priest and Victim, does not act alone. Through God's gracious design, at Mass all the members of the Church are priests and victims together with Christ. To be sure, there is a very significant difference between the priesthood of bishops and priests and the priesthood of the faithful. The point we wish to stress, however, is that the universal priesthood, given in Baptism to all the faithful, is a real participation in Christ's priesthood.

"Vatican II has stressed this concept of the priesthood of all the Church's members. Speaking of the Mass, the Council says: 'The Church, therefore, earnestly desires that Christ's faithful, when present at this mystery of faith, should not be there as strangers or silent spectators. On the contrary, through a proper appreciation of the rites and prayers, they should participate knowingly, devoutly, and actively. They should be instructed by God's word and be refreshed at the table of the Lord's body; they should give thanks to God; by offering the Immaculate Victim, not only through the hands of the priest, but also with him, they should learn to offer themselves too. Through Christ the Mediator, they should be drawn, day-by-day, into ever closer union with God and with each other, so that finally God may be all in all.'

"During all our Christ-like activities, we are living the Mass. Working, recreating, laughing, weeping, enjoying success but also experiencing failure, enjoying the beauties of nature--through all such activities, we are living the Mass. We are continually offering ourselves in loving conformity to the Father's will. From time to time during the day, we should make a conscious act of uniting ourselves and our activities with the sacrifice of Calvary as it is made present throughout the world through the Mass.

"A very precious time during the Mass is, of course, our reception of Jesus in Holy Communion. We should make the most of these special moments. Let's properly thank Jesus for coming to us with His Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity. Let's thank Jesus for the tremendous suffering He experienced in order to be able to give us the Eucharist. As Jesus dwells within us in this precious way at Communion time, the very Heart of Christ--this Heart which is symbol of His great love--dwells within. This Heart cries out for our love in return.

"One of the great means God has given us to help prepare ourselves for better participation in the Mass is the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Our Lady of Medjugorje asks us to go to Confession at least once a month.

"Indeed, we should use all available means to prepare ourselves for a more fruitful participation in the Eucharistic Sacrifice. It is a great privilege to be able to be present at, and to participate in, the Mass. We should show Jesus our appreciation for such a great gift by preparing ourselves as best we can, and in this way we will gain the greatest possible benefit from the Mass, both for ourselves and for others.

"Included in our devotion to the Eucharist should be our desire to make Eucharistic reparation. One way to do this is to say often the following Fatima prayer: 'Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, I adore You profoundly. I offer You the most precious Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in all the tabernacles of the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges, and indifferences by which He is offended. By the infinite merits of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and (the intercession of) the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg of Thee the conversion of sinners.'" (4)

Besides saying the above prayer, there are other acts of Eucharistic reparation we can make. One of these is to be sure we make adequate thanksgiving after Mass. One of the intentions we should have at this time is to help make reparation for the lack of proper thanksgiving on the part of many. Pope Pius XII speaks about the duty of spending the proper time in thanksgiving:

"When at Mass, which is subject to special rules of the liturgy, is over, the person who has received Holy Communion is not thereby freed from his duty of thanksgiving; rather, it is most becoming that, when the Mass is finished, the person who has received the Eucharist should recollect himself and, in intimate union with the Divine Master, hold loving and fruitful converse with Him. Hence they have departed from the straight way of truth who, adhering to the letter rather than the sense, assert and teach that, when Mass has ended, no such thanksgiving should be added, not only because the Mass is itself a thanksgiving, but also because this pertains to a private and personal act of piety and not to the good of the community." March 1, 1998 - 5th Day

The Marriage of the Lamb

Messenger: What do I write today? Since that day, February 25th I have experienced the Bridegroom as He stands above me and strengthens me in this trial I have experienced. It has been a hellish experience to do the Father’s will, to stand firm for the truth when it would have been so much easier to laugh and to play as the world danced and I cried inside to stand behind the truth in this "Godless" world.

They danced and played and whistled a tune on the flute and the Bridegroom was ignored at His own wedding. How indeed would it be if at the marriage the bridegroom was treated as if he were not present?

We went to the altar, we received Him, the Lamb, the Bridegroom of our souls and then we ignored Him and went to laugh and play. We ignored Him and fed our faces.

The tenderest love Our Divine Captain gives to us in giving Himself in the Mass. The Almighty God, the King of heaven and earth, gives Himself to us in the deepest spousal relationship and what happens here? We ignore Him and talk to mere humans with God in our breast.

Let us make reparation to Him, Our Savior, for the ingratitude and indifference given to the King, the Lamb of God, Who was slain for our sins. They now have roped off my pew with a red chord and asked me to move my jacket as I prayed. Several ladies stand at the end of my pew and talk openly in church of the bishop to come in this church today. All the priests, the royal bridegrooms, anointed by the Lord, came out immediately after Mass and talked to the people, right in church. There was conversation and laughing at the beginning of Mass and at the end. A royal banquet, the Lamb was slain for our sins, now sacramentally made present here and who pays Him heed?

They worship Him with fan-fare and trumpets, flutes and tambourines, but when the banquet is served, they all get up and rush from the table. Little focus is given to the King and royal Bridegroom of the soul. He is really ignored. Oh precious King, we love You, we worship You, we adore You, forever.

I was unable to be intimately connected to Him today in a way that gave me happy feelings, but in my heart I know in the suffering there is no place to go but to Him.

Preparation must be made. Time must be set aside for a person who is important in our lives. Time must be set aside to prepare for the Lamb, the Bridegroom of our soul. It begins with acts of surrender, saying the "Prayer for Union with Jesus", the consecration, and the "Prayer before the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass".

I love You, Jesus. In this suffering, I unite in Your passion and death. I love You, my Divine Lord, the Bridegroom of my soul.

The following Imprimatur applies only to the Prayer for Union with Jesus and not the message above or below.

Prayer for Union with Jesus

Come to me, Lord, and possess my soul. Come into my heart and permeate my soul. Help me to sit in silence with You and let You work in my heart.
I am Yours to possess. I am Yours to use. I want to be selfless and only exist in You. Help me to spoon out all that is me and be an empty vessel ready to be filled by You. Help me to die to myself and live only for You. Use me as You will. Let me never draw my attention back to myself. I only want to operate as You do, dwelling within me.
I am Yours, Lord. I want to have my life in You. I want to do the will of the Father. Give me the strength to put aside the world and let You operate my very being. Help me to act as You desire. Strengthen me against the distractions of the devil to take me from Your work.
When I worry, I have taken my focus off of You and placed it on myself. Help me not to give in to the promptings of others to change what in my heart You are making very clear to me. I worship You, I adore You and I love You. Come and dwell in me now.
-God's Blue Book, January 17, 1994

The following Imprimatur applies only to A Prayer before the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and not the message above or below.

A Prayer before the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass

Let me be a holy sacrifice and unite with God in the sacrament of His greatest love.
I want to be one in Him in this act of love, where He gives Himself to me and I give myself as a sacrifice to Him. Let me be a holy sacrifice as I become one with Him in this my act of greatest love to Him.
Let me unite with Him more, that I may more deeply love Him. May I help make reparation to His adorable Heart and the heart of His Mother, Mary. With greatest love, I offer myself to You and pray that You will accept my sacrifice of greatest love. I give myself to You and unite in Your gift of Yourself to me. Come and possess my soul.
Cleanse me, strengthen me, heal me. Dear Holy Spirit act in the heart of Mary to make me more and more like Jesus.
Father, I offer this my sacrifice, myself united to Jesus in the Holy Spirit to You. Help me to love God more deeply in this act of my greatest love.
Give me the grace to grow in my knowledge, love and service of You and for this to be my greatest participation in the Mass. Give me the greatest graces to love You so deeply in this Mass, You who are so worthy of my love.

October 18, 2000 - Second Message

Messenger: Big print version of the Blue Books and the Red Rosary Book can be downloaded from the website and spiral bound and given to elderly.

The website is a treasure chest of Jesus' and Mary's words for the elderly, especially.

In March, 1995, Jesus told me how important it was to reach the elderly. I try, but you are asked to please help us, get these spiral bound books in their hands.

The books can be laid flat on their laps, and with the big print the elderly and sick can read Jesus' comforting messages all day.

Give them as birthday and Christmas presents.

Coloring books, and big Blue Books and big Rosary Books are available at the Virgin Mary building.

We need youth and others helping us to make these books available to the elderly.

Anyone able to print them or help with the printing or funding in any way could get the books to a hungry soul that could use them all through the day praying the rosary and praying for us, the priests, the Church and the world. Please help us if you feel Jesus is calling you to reach the children and elderly with these books.

November 1994

Jesus speaks: Feed My lambs. Feed my sheep. I come to bring nourishment for My flock. Nourish them with My love. Do you not see clearly that they are hungry for My love? It is that by which they are fed. To hold up My messages any longer is to hold up their nourishment. These are My love letters written to all My precious children. I call you to obey. Publish these messages.

He Wants Blue Book III Published

Note: Jesus refers to God's Blue Book III in this message.

Jesus speaks: I want a song book of the songs given published under Shepherds of Christ publishing. This should be done quickly. I want My love songs recorded by the messenger. I ask you, I plead with you, to publish Book III quickly. My children at the Center need these messages. Satan is pressing down. He will not stop. The confusion you experienced this day will only intensify. Your efforts to publish these books will aid the workers at the Center, My special apostles in this Movement, My apostles in the Shepherds of Christ. My Movement is based on love. Deep love of God and love for one another. I beg you to work on this book. Your delays of publishing these books will affect the hearts of so many.

Sisters and priests need these books and rosary meditations. Please, I beg you, to listen to Me and stand behind the publication of these books as quickly as possible.

I am Jesus, Chief Shepherd of the flock. My souls are in pain and hurting and you contain the mighty medicine to bring them to the love of Jesus and Mary. Oh, how I love each one of you and give you such graces for all your efforts to serve Me. I thank you with My burning Heart for answering My call to you. I ask all those involved to do the work needed to publish and circulate these letters. They are My love letters to My beloved souls. Please help Me to publish and circulate them now.

These are My letters for this world. I am asking all involved to help here. The messenger is receiving these messages. I am asking each person to help in this endeavor. These are not her letters, they are My letters of love. Personal love letters for a world in such pain! Look at your world - you hold My personal love letters.

Do you see the children, do you see the confusion, do you see the hatred, do you see the murdered babies? Do you believe that I am writing to you, each of you today to help Me spread My love to this world? See Me dying on the cross for the love of the souls that are in your world today. I ask you to deliver My letters of love. One letter can touch a heart deeply. I give to you abundant graces to do this task.

I give to the souls reading the letters abundant graces to grow in deeper union with Me. I am Jesus. I am Chief Shepherd of the flock. Your lambs are starving for My love. Feed the hungry. Give them My love letters.

Feed the hungry, feed the hungry, feed the hungry!

One priest fixed on this deep and burning love in his heart will bring so many souls to My love.

Give these letters to sisters and priests. You worry for details and babies are being murdered, children are being poisoned. Look at your world!

I come to you with greatest love, I am your loving Savior, I am your God, I died for you, I come to you today.

This is an urgent message to publish this third book. It needs work, please do as I ask. You must act as a team, fired by My loved. You are publishing My love letters for My beloved ones - love letters for the world! Oh, how I love you. Working on these love letters is a gift of love to Me. I want to touch My beloved souls. I ask you to comply. These are My letters. Please help circulate My letters. Please help publish My letters of love for this hurting world!

ROSARIES from the Hearts of Jesus and Mary

Messenger: Pray for Perry.

(Please copy and pass out to family and friends.)

Sorrowful MotherMary's Message from the Rosary of August 27, 1996

Mary speaks: I stood beneath the cross of my Son, and my Heart was in such pain for I saw Him before my eyes. I saw Him covered with blood. I saw Him die. My Heart, my children, my Heart to watch my Son, but my Heart, my Heart, how I suffered for my little children of the world that give in to this world and give up the love of my Son. O my little children of light, I give you this message. Carry this light into the darkness for your Mother Mary, for I stood beneath the cross and I cried. I cried for the little ones. I cried for the young ones, the ones that do not care and will lose their souls. How do I make you see for you will not listen to me? What can I do? I come. I appear. I beg. I plead. I give you these gifts from my Son, and you reject me. I do not deliver messages very often anymore for I have been ignored. The message is the same. You do not read the messages I have given to you. Please help me. Help the little children. I appear. I appear. I appear, and I am ignored. I stood beneath the cross, and I cried. I cried, and my Heart was in such anguish for my little children, for I am searching for them this day as I searched for the Child Jesus. Please, please help me. I cannot hold back the hand of my Son any longer. I am Mary, your Mother. I ask you to help my children. You are my children of light.

Song: O Lady of Light, shining so bright, be with us this day, guiding our way, O Lady, O Lady of Light.

Mary speaks: I appear to you as Our Mother of Sorrows.

(End of Mary's Message)
