Put God First
R. If I live to do what God wants, if I live to love God, this should be my measuring stick as to how I act.
Do I act to impress you? Who are you that I judge my actions by you? God is my Master. He is the King. It is He for whom I operate. I must always act out of the love of God. What does God want me to do? When I talk to you, I must operate to do the will of the Father. The end result is that I operate for love of God.
When I am talking to you about any matter, we are sharing the love of God that powers each of us. If you are in authority, you are in authority, but I still operate from the love of God within, to do His will and do my work. If you tell me not to do something, if you are my superior, I must obey you (unless you tell me to do something sinful) because God tells me to obey my superiors, but my actions are directed by His love and to please Him, not to please you and impress you.
People are changeable, God is consistent. We should operate for love of God. This is such freedom! I must be kind and loving as Christ is loving, I operate to do His will.
God, help me to always follow You. You are my God and I shall have no other gods.
SAY TO GOD:
My God, You are truly present in the Eucharist. You are the same Jesus that died on the cross. You are as present in the consecrated host as You were the day You died on Calvary. My precious God, help me to spread belief in Your true presence. Help me to always reverence You and never offend You when I receive You or touch the Sacred Host! You are truly Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Give us vision to live for the love of God, to put Him first in our lives, to not make other persons and things gods, but to realize You are God and treat all others with the love and respect they deserve as Your creation. Open our eyes, O Holy Spirit, so we can see where we are so blind, so we can know the truths that God wants to reveal to us.
Help me to live to put God first in my life and love my brothers as myself. You are God. To You I bow and give You praise. Who am I that God comes to me in the Eucharist and waits for me in the tabernacle? Who am I that God dwells in me in my heart? Oh, I love you so, my precious God.

I Must Forgive All To Have Peace
R. My lack of peace is coming from lack of forgiveness. I am living to love God and my brother.
To have anger toward my brother blocks the flow of God’s love operating in me. I must forgive all to have peace.
Any lack of love for my brother diminishes peace.
Say you are sorry and forgive.
I must come from a place of love rooted in Him Who first loved us.
I realize how I must forgive. I must give up angry thoughts. I reflect my emotions within when I talk to people. I must stay rooted in Christ's love. I must put on Christ. I must show love. He was silent and accepted all they did to Him!
I must love. I must realize my brothers are dearly loved by Jesus. They are a creation of God the Father. Jesus shed the last drop of His blood for them. Would I talk about my very own brothers? God is our Father, we are brothers in Christ!
I must stay rooted in love, love of God, love of my brothers. I can pray when problems occur. I must trust in God and talk about our problems from a place of love. If I act angry or talk about someone in anger, I am not spreading Christ's love.

You Are the Reflection of the God That Lives Within You
R. How He loves us - that He gives us a free will.
He is the Almighty God. He has all the power, but He gives us our free will. He watches us gently. He watches us with love. We do our willful things and pay Him no heed.
It is indeed through the Spirit whereby our eyes are opened to see that which we may never see. He is our God. He leads us on our path if we come with our heart open. Implant in me, oh Spirit, vision to see where You are leading me.
He is so pleased by a single act of mine to please His holy will! Father, help me to know Your will. Spirit, give me the strength to follow it. Jesus, let me walk in Your footsteps to be more like You. Jesus, make my heart likened to Yours in all things. Make me meek and humble in my heart, open and sinless. Let me see with the eyes of God and feel with Your gentle Heart, all that You so graciously teach me. Open me to the gifts of the Spirit.
I am Yours to possess. I am Yours to use. I am Yours. I consecrate my life to Your Heart and that of Your Mother. Father, mold me, fashion me into the image of Christ, Your Son, so I no longer hold onto the perishable things of this world but live to please You as You created me to do. I love You so, dear God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. I come to You through the Immaculate Heart of my Mother. I lay myself prostrate at Your feet. I am Yours Lord. I am Yours.

I Want to Be with Jesus before the Tabernacle
R. My dear dear Lord,
I long to be with You, so close. I miss the tender moments. I do not get to be with You and this morning am overwhelmed with sadness, instead of joy to be with You! I want to spend my hours with You and when I do not, I miss that time so! I squandered my time. I talk on the phone or go out some nights and miss my morning prayers with You. I want to be with You for hours in front of the tabernacle. I miss You and love You so much, to tears!
I long so for You. I want greater union with You. I thirst after knowledge of You. I long to be with You. You are my all, Lord. I long so to be with You in front of the tabernacle.
I am sad for all the hours I missed today and yesterday. I miss my intimacy with You. I miss You. Nothing else can be likened to being with You. I love You so! Now I know the sorrow of my heart, the joy to behold You now, bitter sweetness, sorrow and joy, love and pain, You are my all!
During Mass I wanted to cry. I could hear Jesus say, "this is My Body, My flesh, this is My Blood." I saw the little lamb led to the slaughter. I look at the crucifix and I realize His immense love. It saddens me so to know many who do not know this love and how He loves them so. It is painful to know this and watch people miss His beautiful love.
The readings were exciting. I love to hear His words. It just excites me to hear the readings, the psalm and the gospel. I wanted to cry today because I love Him so and He is truly here. This is no myth. The readings at Mass are alive in my life today.
The Mass is so beautiful. I love it more every day. What a gift to go to Mass. Oh, Father, how little I am, but I give myself in my entirety to You. The more I know You, the more I want to get lost in Jesus, to be hid away in His tender Heart. I love You so, my precious Savior!

Pounding Heart
Messenger:
To embrace you, my Lord! I want to be united as one in my soul. I want to be united as one in my heart. My heart beats with ardent love for my Savior. Such an honor! I cannot even fathom my heart being united to Yours. If You would but tuck me in a little part, a little pocket, and let me be there, let me hear the beating of Your most tender Heart. Let me feel the warmth of Your love, poured out for me! ...Messenger: I saw a heart that looked like it was a furnace inside. It was bright yellow, white in the center. I am experiencing pounding in my heart.
His Heart is truly beating for love of us. I felt my heart beating so hard in my chest. I knew it was from Him. Hearts don’t do what the mind is doing. This morning my heart was pounding, heart racing, I got this letter: ...

excerpt from Tell My People
Reparation for Sin
Jesus: "My beloved priest-companion, tell My people that the ugly face of sin covers the earth as never before in the history of the human race. My image, which should shine forth brilliantly over the whole earth, is seriously marred by the hideousness of sin. My Father's justice demands reparation. Tell My people to offer their actions in reparation for all the sins whereby the Triune God is so much offended. My Heart cries out for reparation, especially for sins committed against My Eucharistic presence. My Heart hates sin, but loves the sinner. All who are sorry for their sins will find in My Heart overflowing graces of mercy.
"My people should receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation often, even if they have no serious sins to confess. The graces of this Sacrament give powerful graces for the fight against temptation. I am Lord and Master. Please do as I request!"
Sirach 21: 1-2
My child, have you sinned? Do so no more,
and ask forgiveness for your previous faults.
Flee from sin as from a snake,
if you approach it, it will bite you;
its teeth are lion’s teeth,
they take human life away.
Sirach 22: 7-11
Teaching a fool is like gluing bits of pottery together—
you are rousing someone who is besotted with sleep.
You might as well talk to someone sound asleep;
when you have finished the fool will say, What's up?Shed tears for the dead, who has left the light behind;
shed tears for the fool, who has left his wits behind.
Shed quieter tears for the dead who is at rest,
for the fool life is worse than death.
Sirach 30: 21-25
Do not abandon yourself to sorrow,
do not torment yourself with brooding.
Gladness of heart is life to anyone,
joy is what gives length of days.
Give your cares the slip, console your heart,
chase sorrow far away;
for sorrow has been the ruin of many,
and is no use to anybody.
Jealousy and anger shorten your days,
and worry brings premature old age.
A genial heart makes a good trencherman,
someone who enjoys a good meal.
Sirach 33: 2-3
No one who hates the Law is wise,
one who is hypocritical about it is like a storm–tossed ship.
An intelligent person will put faith in the Law,
for such a one the Law is as dependable as a prophecy.
Sirach 34: 13-17
the spirit of those who fear the Lord can survive,
for their hope is in someone with power to save them.
No one who fears the Lord need ever hesitate,
or ever be daunted, since the Lord is his hope.
Happy the soul of one who fears the Lord.
On whom does he rely? Who supports him?
The eyes of the Lord watch over those who love him,
he is their powerful protection and their strong support,
their screen from the desert wind, their shelter from the midday sun,
a guard against stumbling, an assurance against a fall.
He revives the spirit and brightens the eyes,
he gives health, life and blessing.
Sirach 34: 23-26
If one person builds while another pulls down,
what will they get out of it but trouble?
If one person prays and another calls down a curse,
to which one’s voice is the Master going to listen?
If someone washes after touching a corpse, and then touches it again,
what is the good of his washing?
Just so with someone who fasts for sin,
and then goes and commits it again.
Who is going to hear that person’s prayer?
What is the good of the self–abasement?
Sirach 35: 9-10
Give to the Most High as he has given to you,
as generously as your means can afford
for the Lord is a good rewarder,
he will reward you seven times over.
Sirach 35: 15-24
Do the widow’s tears not run down her cheeks,
as she accuses the man who is the cause of them?
Whoever wholeheartedly serves God will be accepted,
his petitions will carry to the clouds.
The prayer of the humble pierces the clouds:
and until it does, he is not to be consoled,
nor will he desist until the Most High takes notice of him,
acquits the upright and delivers judgement.
And the Lord will not be slow,
nor will he be dilatory on their behalf,
until he has crushed the loins of the merciless
and exacted vengeance on the nations,
until he has eliminated the hordes of the arrogant
and broken the sceptres of the wicked,
until he has repaid all people as their deeds deserve
and human actions as their intentions merit,
until he has judged the case of his people
and made them rejoice in his mercy.
Mercy is welcome in time of trouble,
like rain clouds in time of drought.
Sirach 45: 19
The Lord saw it and was displeased,
his raging fury made an end of them;
he worked miracles on them,
consuming them by his flaming fire.
Sirach 46: 9-10
And the Lord conferred strength on Caleb too,
which stayed by him into old age,
so that he could invest the highlands of the country
which his descendants kept as their inheritance,
so that every Israelite might see
that it is good to follow the Lord.

Messenger: To be one.
The Church is the Body of Christ.
The Trinity is the most perfect
community —
3 Persons, one God — all
perfection and love —
The priest said if we could be united
we, the smallest community
could do so much good.
Look at the Apostles and the
work they did.
Mary, Mother of the Church, spiritual
mother was with these Apostles
as the Church spread.
We are one, holy, Catholic and apostolic —
the Catholic Church.
The Church is the Body of Christ.
Operating in greater perfection and
oneness as the Spouse of
Christ — we can have such
an impact on the world as
Christ operates in His
Church bringing peace and
love to this world.
Because we are the tainted children
of Eve we operate with imperfections
7 Capital Sins
Pride, Greed, Envy, Wrath, Lust, Gluttony, Sloth
With the pure motive as St. Ignatius
talks about with the 3 classes
of men, we can do all things
as God intends for the honor and
glory of God, serving God in
love, doing God's will.
This is how the community
can operate to greater perfection —
most likened to Christ.
The devil is division — he wants
to tear up communities, marriages
etc.
Heaven is living in that fullness
of life, wrapped in the embrace
of God's love, experiencing the
beatific vision.
If we ponder the community,
the Trinity, we can model our
communities on such perfect
love!!
Excerpt from Response to God's Love by Father Edward Carter, S.J. pp. 1-2
...God himself is the ultimate mystery. Radically, God is completely other and transcendent, hidden from man in his inner life, unless he chooses to reveal himself. Let us briefly look at this inner life of God.
The Father, in a perfect act of self-expression, in a perfect act of knowing, generates his son. The Son, the Word, is, then, the immanent expression of God's fullness, the reflection of the Father. Likewise, from all eternity, the Father and the Son bring forth the Holy Spirit in a perfect act of loving.
At the destined moment in human history, God's self-expression, the Word, immersed himself into man's world. God's inner self-expression now had also become God's outer self-expression. Consequently, the mystery of God becomes the mystery of Christ. In Christ, God tells us about himself, about his inner life, about his plan of creation and redemption. He tells us how Father, Son, and Holy Spirit desire to dwell within us in the most intimate fashion, how they wish to share with us their own life through grace. All this he has accomplished and does accomplish through Christ. St. Paul tells us: "I became a minister of this Church through the commission God gave me to preach among you his word in its fullness, that mystery hidden from ages and generations past but now revealed to his holy ones. God has willed to make known to them the glory beyond price which this mystery brings to the Gentiles—the mystery of Christ in you, your hope of glory. This is the Christ we proclaim while we admonish all men and teach them in the full measure of wisdom, hoping to make every man complete in Christ" (Col 1:25-28).
The Christian life, then, is rooted in the great event of the Incarnation. We must, consequently, always focus our gaze upon Christ, realizing that everything the Father wishes to tell us has been summed up in the life of Jesus of Nazareth.
Excerpt from Response to God's Love by Father Edward Carter, S.J., pp. 67-68
The millions and millions of people the world over make up what might be called the world community. The members of this cosmic community are supposed to live in a basic love for one another, united in bonds of mutual support and interdependence. This is true because God has created persons as social beings. We are not intended to cut an isolated path through life. We are meant to walk hand in hand with each other, to live within a societal structure, to help others in many different ways. What is more, we must also realize that, in achieving our destiny, we receive much aid, support, and love from others. There are all too many striking examples of how the modern world has failed to live community—more than enough to make us agonize over man's inhumanity toward his fellow human beings. But there are also many beautiful and ongoing examples of how the world has succeeded in living community—enough to strengthen our belief in the basic goodness of the human heart.

Our Lady of Fatima told us on July 13,
1917 we must pray the rosary —
In meditating on the mysteries of
Christ's life and Mary's life —
their love —
Jesus, the Divine God and Mary, the
most highest human person — we
see
love between God and man (Mary a
human person) and model our love
relationships on this —
Mary the spiritual mother, Mother

Our focus in becoming as Christ
intends
We note Genesis 1: 27
Genesis 1: 27God created man in the image of himself,
in the image of God he created him,
male and female he created them.
We see the sin of Adam and Eve in the
beginning of the Bible because
of greed and pride — a sin
against
God and fellow men that follow and we
see at the end of the Bible
Revelation 21 —
Revelation 21: 1-8
Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; the first heaven and the first earth had disappeared now, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride dressed for her husband. Then I heard a loud voice call from the throne, 'Look, here God lives among human beings. He will make his home among them; they will be his people, and he will be their God, God-with-them. He will wipe away all tears from their eyes; there will be no more death, and no more mourning or sadness or pain. The world of the past has gone.'
Then the One sitting on the throne spoke. 'Look, I am making the whole of creation new. Write this, "What I am saying is trustworthy and will come true."' Then he said to me, 'It has already happened. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give water from the well of life free to anybody who is thirsty; anyone who proves victorious will inherit these things; and I will be his God and he will be my son. But the legacy for cowards, for those who break their word, or worship obscenities, for murderers and the sexually immoral, and for sorcerers, worshippers of false gods or any other sort of liars, is the second death in the burning lake of sulphur.'

Messenger: The Church,
the world and the individual
Christian is in the state of becoming.
Christ comes, the redeemer, the Savior
of the world, the New Adam
As Fr. Carter says in the Spirituality Handbook
Into such a depraved condition Jesus entered, with a full and generous Heart, to lead the human race from the depths of sinfulness to the vibrant richness of a new life in Himself. Through His enfleshment, this Christ became the focal point of all history. The authentic hopes and dreams of the human family, now so overshadowed by the ugliness of sin, came converging upon this Christ. He would gather them up in Himself, give them a new luster and brilliance and dynamism, and would lead the human family back to the Father in the Holy Spirit.
Christ was radically to release us from the dominion of sin and elevate us to a new level of existence.

Christ the First Fruits
1 Corinthians 15: 20-28
In fact, however, Christ has been raised from the dead, as the first–fruits of all who have fallen asleep. As it was by one man that death came, so through one man has come the resurrection of the dead. Just as all die in Adam, so in Christ all will be brought to life; but all of them in their proper order: Christ the first–fruits, and next, at his coming, those who belong to him. After that will come the end, when he will hand over the kingdom to God the Father, having abolished every principality, every ruling force and power. For he is to be king until he has made his enemies his footstool, and the last of the enemies to be done away with is death, for he has put all things under his feet. But when it is said everything is subjected, this obviously cannot include the One who subjected everything to him. When everything has been subjected to him, then the Son himself will be subjected to the One who has subjected everything to him, so that God may be all in all.
