Messenger:         Don't give into how you feel. One thing satan
can try to do to stop important work is work in feelings,
                        memories, untruths.

If you know what God's will is for you, you
should do it. Not let events or people's moods,
your moods change what you know you
are to do. Or satan can come and work through
others' behavior to get you from your work.

A man went out to win a big victory in war
on the way his troops began to cry, some told
stories of their wives and children, others
"belly ached" and the leader filled with
                        remorse turned back.

The whole country was lost for these few
belly-aching men. The lives of women and
                        children of the whole country
— rather than
the few giving in to their ways on the way to
                        battle.

Christ did not count the cost. The Son of
God was born in a little baby body
— He gave
                        His life for all.

Isaiah 40: 4-5

Let every valley be filled in,
every mountain and hill be levelled,
every cliff become a plateau,
every escarpment a plain;
then the glory of Yahweh will be revealed
and all humanity will see it together,
for the mouth of Yahweh has spoken.

Messenger:          A little old lady got up every day and remembered
her children and how they never visited her, she thought,
at least not enough for her

she was at the nursing home — she spent her days
crying and she got worse and worse — finally
one of the children came and she was so filled
with anger — he never came again even though
he had visited her weekly and loved her very
much. She became more and more self-focused,
angry and mean to those who loved her so
                        very much. SELF-FOCUSED, wanting love
that could only come from God.

Another little old lady was at a nursing
home where daily Mass was celebrated,
her room was right next to an open chapel
                        with the Eucharist

Messenger:          How did I meet Natalie — well I was at a
hospital chapel praying and she had to go to
the doctor there — I did not know her — she came
in sat before the tabernacle — then she turned
to me and said can you give me communion —
I did not know the chaplain then, but I tried
to find someone — to no avail — I returned and she
began to tell me how Jesus was in the
tabernacle and waited for us to come and talk to
Him and be with Him. She told me He was truly
present and she spent every day she could
before the tabernacle. Then she told me about
Rita Ring and God's Blue book — I could not
believe my ears and I told her "I am Rita".
She almost flipped out. The chapel was dark except
for the light around the tabernacle. She was
very little and frail — The Blue Books changed
her life. She lived in a little poor apartment
and used to walk to St. Clare's Retirement Center
for Mass and when she could stay to be with Jesus in the tabernacle.
Melanie visited her and gave her books and tapes and
more Blue Books and she prayed for us. Soon I
began to see her more and more at St. Clare's and she
took me to her room on the 5th floor and told
me her sister died left her money and she had
two rooms with the open chapel with the Eucharist right
                        outside her suite.

I became close to Natalie until one
day we received a letter from her lawyer
                        said not to visit her
— she had in all our
visits only given us between $200 - $500,
it was not money, Natalie liked all of us
in the Shepherds of Christ and once when she almost
died a priest we knew prayed over her and she got
better — she was in her 90's, maybe almost
                        95, I forget.

I had written this letter about Natalie
                        after one of my visits

July 12, 2001 (very important)

Messenger:  I went to see my good friend Natalie. She is
91 years old and she had fractured her pelvis.
We found out she was in the hospital and both
John and I separately went to see her.

Now I looked at her at the Mercy-Franciscan
Terrace in her wheelchair. She wore a bright
beautiful soft velvety deep rose colored robe
with roses down the front. The color
was beautiful on her. She was in front
of the window where the beautiful
blue sky shown through and the green
                        almost autumn colored leaves were
so beautifully placed before that beautiful
sky. I saw such beauty in the window
and it immediately made my heart feel
so close to God for only He could give us
such a gift of such enormous beauty.
In it I saw the vastness of the sky, the
beauty in the trees created by Him and
my heart was at such peace and filled
with such love. I felt the warmness of
the summer day of 7:30 and I saw a
glimpse of sun light warming the earth
and telling that another day was about
to end here in Cincinnati and I felt enormous
peace and joy in that moment of being there
with Natalie and experiencing the beautiful
scene God had given to us behind her
                        head.

She spoke of her funeral and a little old nun with
a soft voice she wished to play the organ at it,
she spoke of the servers, she spoke of Jesus
with a calmness I cannot describe.

An older woman you say of 91 years and yet the
peace about her was awesome, against the
beauty of the sky outside. My heart was filled
with joy to be living in that moment so
                        close to God.

She is a product of God's Blue Book.

I remember how I met Natalie.

Our Lord sent me to the Mercy-Franciscan-Mt Airy hospital
one day and I went in to the chapel.

There was a little lady up in years, very little, she
seemed frail sitting before the tabernacle and
altar. I sat for a little while and she turned
to me and asked me if I could help her receive
                        Holy Communion.

It was dark in that little chapel, one small light
it seemed was before us over the side of
                        the room.

I remember the color of rose so vividly and the
little lady that was so intent on receiving
                        Jesus.

She wanted to receive her Beloved in Holy Communion.

She didn't look as peaceful that day in the hospital
chapel as she did at the retirement center against
                        the beautiful window.

In the hospital that day she began to tell me about
Jesus and how He wanted us to come and sit
                        with Him.

She told me of her life lived now trying to get
to daily Mass and she walked a lot to
Mercy-Franciscan Terrace (this used to be called St. Clare's)
                        to get there.

She was entirely focused on this great gift
of the Eucharist and her love for Jesus.

At first I thought I was hearing a message
from Jesus in God's Blue Book. I said
to myself, "she has been reading God's
Blue Book, is this why Jesus sent me here?"

Soon it was brought to light. She told me how she
knew these things and lived her life this way
with Jesus because she had read it in
a little book God's Blue Book.

I told her I was Rita and Jesus told me to go
                        there that day.

It was so beautiful for I saw the outreaching
effects of Jesus' messages on a little lady
that was spending her last days giving
such love to her Beloved treasuring the
Eucharist and living her life in deep
                        union with God.

Now as I sat in the Retirement Center, I
saw her so many years later and her peace
was awesome. The beauty of the sky and
trees behind her and the words from
her mouth about death and Jesus all
seemed so right. And the moment was one
in which I experienced so much joy and
peace, I felt I touched heaven as I
                        sat with her.

Her beauty and peace were awesome.

She sat straight with her fractured pelvis and looked
                        so in control of herself.

She was so connected to her Beloved and her face to
me shown a radiance of His life alive
                        in her.

She seemed to me to be so completely surrendered to His
                        will.

She had no place to go but to be there accepting
each moment as it unfolded, but her
vision was on everlasting union with Him.

Then what happened to me was more wonderful than
                        I had experienced before.

I am not sure she is at "death's door" for the
doctor told me in the hospital that she
had a broken pelvis and it could heal
                        and she would go home.

What made me think she was worse was when
John visited and I visited the next day

she had so much pain medicine in her
right after the fall, she looked like she was
                        about to die.

Then as that wore off she was more her old self.

Father Mike had anointed her with the
sacrament of the sick and prayed for
                        her.

I think she fell on Sunday and Father Mike
gave her this sacrament on Monday. The
blessings I am very sure and the grace
of the sacrament really helped her too.

But what happened now was even more peaceful.
I asked her if she had been to Mass yet. Natalie
is a prayer apostle for the Shepherds of Christ.
She prays for us. She said no. I asked her if
she had been to the tabernacle yet and she
                        said no.

She explained to me,  how God put her
in this apartment on the 5th floor at Mercy-
                        Franciscan Terrace. The tabernacle
is right by her apartment door. She can
walk in a minute there and she spent her days and
nights much of the time before the
tabernacle praying to Jesus. At St. Clare's they
have a Mass at 10:00 every day for the people
and she was able to go.

Now in her new room on the 3rd floor where she was
                        recuperating
she said she hadn't been to Mass or the
                        tabernacle.

I said, "Oh Natalie, you can make spiritual
communions" With that she folded her
hands fingers up, closed her eyes and
                        went into a spiritual communion.

I, too, went into a spiritual communion and
those twenty minutes were the most
peaceful I had experienced that day.

The connection I felt with God seeing her
before the beautiful sky and the
deep presence I felt of God in my
heart was such a gift I cannot
explain it. It was peace and love and
joy. I knew He was so one with us
and I knew His love and His peace
in that moment. I felt again as
if I had touched heaven and I just
wanted to bask in the warmth of the sun and
just stay there in that moment so one with
                        God.

Messenger:           Natalie died about a year and a half ago, 2005, we
were really unable to continue visiting her because
the family lawyer was afraid she would leave
us money. But her children were in
New York and hardly came. We really
                        loved her.

I spent long hours with my Uncle
Andrew who died at 95 and adored
the Blue Books. He was so very happy
because He loved Jesus so much. My
brother, a priest, was the priest at the
Church near him and he visited him and
we gave him communion every day.
Andrew and I loved to pray the rosary

The elderly need to know how wonderful
heaven is and how wonderful the Eucharist
is — so — I made lots of videos for the
Nursing homes from the Clearwater Image
and told them about this card.

Messenger:       Here is one video from the Epiphany — one with
                            words asking them to  pray.

A Rosary on the Feast of the Epiphany

Transcribed from the Nursing Home video tape under Mary's Image,
a tremendous gift was given, a beautiful star above Jesus' head.

Song: A Song from Jesus

Messenger: Today we're going to do a Nursing Home Rosary on the Feast of the Epiphany, and we're going to do this rosary so that you could take it to the nursing home, and in the rosary tell them how much Mary wants us to pray the rosary and how much Jesus loves them. And they'll be really glad for you to do that, and you just got to really tell them how much Jesus loves them because that's the message of this rosary, and how neat it is to pray the rosary.

This is the rosary my mom died with, it needs a little repair, but I buried her with one of our rosaries and I took this one off. So I'm going to pray my rosary today with the rosary my mom had in her hands when she died just a couple months ago. So I know my mom's up there and she's united with us today and she's praying with us all the time. And Mother Mary is praying with us all the time and everything that we do is so important for the sake of souls. And I'm Rita Ring, this is the Feast of the Epiphany, and it is January 8, 2006.

This is a song that Mary really likes and so I'm going to play this, and it's a song that you probably know, and if you can sing with me, sing with me because she really likes this song.

Song: Battle Hymn of the Republic

Messenger: So we pray for all your needs and all of your sicknesses but we pray mostly for the priests, the Church and the world, and from this video you will know more the love of God. And so we're going to pray a pretty quick rosary but you could play this anytime you want because we'll have it on a disk for you.

Sorrowful Mysteries

The Agony of Our Lord in the Garden

Messenger: We have to think in this mystery about our beloved Lord, and how much He loved us that He sweat Blood in the garden. We have to realize that God is a God of love, that He goes out of Himself giving so much love. And that the devil wants to come and he wants to get us to feel bowed down, but God is saying, "I come to you to fill you with My grace. Let your hearts be filled with joy. I am with you today and always and I want you with Me forever in heaven."

1. Hail Mary...

2. Hail Mary...

3. Messenger: See Jesus in the garden. See Him. He is in such anguish and He knows all the souls, despite His suffering, that will be lost because of their sin. His anguish was so great that He sweat Blood and it fell to the ground.

4. Hail Mary...

5. Hail Mary...

6. Hail Mary...

7. Hail Mary...

8. Hail Mary...

9. Messenger: And His Blood became as great drops of Blood on the ground. He remains with us this day truly present in the Eucharist, He loves us and He gives us Himself in the Eucharist. Dear God, thank You for the gift of the Eucharist, the gift of Yourself given to us, thank You for our priests and the Church. Please help them, dear God, help us to have more priests, help the people to realize how great it is to have these priests, and help us to be holy.

10. Hail Mary...

Messenger:           I would visit the nursing homes a lot
and began the Nursing Home program
taking the say daily cards, homemade
rosaries, "I give my heart to Jesus and
Mary with you in love" card,

Messenger:          for next
to their bed. And I would give them
pictures of the Sacred Heart and Immaculate
Heart and bring great big pictures of
the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart
                            during the little prayer service.

On the 15 videos I published for
nursing homes, I said what I said
many times as I visited the nursing
homes but in front of Mary's image
on the afternoon of a 5th.

I also made many books for the
Elderly, to lay on their laps and we have
                        big print Blue Books
— they can open
anywhere to read and pray the rosary.

I would go to the nursing home and
they would be looking so hung-over in
                        their chairs, bringing my pictures
of Jesus and Mary and the huge Mystery
                        of the Rosary pictures

now we have discs for power
point and so many took for the
                        Nursing homes
— mystery of the
                        rosary discs.

Well if we could spread these
two cards to the Nursing homes to do
this short morning offering it would
                        help

Messenger:     Well just about a year ago now November 4,
my mom died, my step mom of about
                    50 some years
— she was holy — she was my
pal and she prayed for the Shepherds of Christ — my real mom
died when I was 5 — my step mom  came when I was
                    6 and took over 5 children — what a saint —
My brother the oldest is now a priest of over 40 years.

Our lives march on in petty pace — we as
children grow to spread the seeds of God's
love by our actions and love.

Sing:  Come With Me Into the Fields

We need to reach the Catholics to pray the
                    morning offering
— even this short one —
                    kids in school
                    elderly — suffering a lot.

The world needs this grace being outpoured
as we unite as a body praying for the
priests, the Church and the world

doing what God wants us to do —
                        doing His will in love.

We have a disc — the Story of the Crucifix
                         by Felix
and he will make small crucifixes
                        for homes and churches —

Sirach 48: 19-20

Then their hearts and hands trembled,
they felt the pangs of a woman in labour,
but they called on the merciful Lord,
stretching out their hands towards him.
Swiftly the Holy One heard them from heaven
and delivered them by the agency of Isaiah;?

Sirach 50: 5-6

How splendid he was with the people thronging round him,
when he emerged from the curtained shrine,
like the morning star among the clouds,
like the moon at the full,?

Isaiah 9: 1

The people that walked in darkness
    have seen a great light;
on the inhabitants of a country
    in shadow dark as death
        light has blazed forth.

Isaiah 40: 4-5

Let every valley be filled in,
every mountain and hill be levelled,
every cliff become a plateau,
every escarpment a plain;
then the glory of Yahweh will be revealed
and all humanity will see it together,
for the mouth of Yahweh has spoken.

Isaiah 43: 1-3

    And now, thus says Yahweh,
    he who created you, Jacob,
who formed you, Israel:
Do not be afraid, for I have redeemed you;
I have called you by your name,
    you are mine.
Should you pass through the waters,
    I shall be with you;
or through rivers,
they will not swallow you up.
Should you walk through fire,
    you will not suffer,
and the flame will not burn you.
For I am Yahweh, your God,
the Holy One of Israel, your Saviour.
I have given Egypt for your ransom,
Cush and Seba in exchange for you.?

Isaiah 60: 1-2

Arise, shine out,
    for your light has come,
and the glory of Yahweh has risen on you.
Look! though night still covers the earth
and darkness the peoples,
on you Yahweh is rising
and over you his glory can be seen.

Isaiah 60: 18-19-20

Violence will no longer be heard of
     in your country,
nor devastation and ruin
    within your frontiers.
You will call your walls ‘Salvation’
and your gates ‘Praise’.

No more will the sun give you daylight,
nor moonlight shine on you,
but Yahweh will be your everlasting light,
your God will be your splendour.
Your sun will set no more
nor will your moon wane,
for Yahweh will be your everlasting light
and your days of mourning will be over.

Isaiah 61: 1

The spirit of Lord Yahweh
     is on me
for Yahweh has anointed me.
He has sent me to bring the news
     to the afflicted,
to soothe the broken–hearted,

Isaiah 61: 8

For I am Yahweh: I love fair judgement,
I hate robbery and wrong–doing,
and I shall reward them faithfully
    and make an everlasting covenant
with them.?

Isaiah 66: 4-6

I too take delight in making fools of them,
I shall bring what they most fear
    down on them
because I have called
    and no one would answer,
I spoke and no one listened.
They have done what I regard as evil,
have chosen what displeases me.

Listen to the word of Yahweh,
you who tremble at his word.
Your brothers, who hate and reject you
because of my name, have said,
‘Let Yahweh show his glory,
let us witness your joy!’
But they will be put to shame.

Listen! An uproar from the city!
A voice from the Temple!
The voice of Yahweh
bringing retribution on his enemies.

Jeremiah 1: 4-6

The word of Yahweh came to me, saying:

‘Before I formed you in the womb
        I knew you;
    before you came to birth
        I consecrated you;
I appointed you as prophet to the nations.’

I then said, ‘Ah, ah, ah, Lord Yahweh; you see, I do not know how to speak: I am only a child!

Jeremiah 7: 24-28

But they did not listen, they did not pay attention; they followed their own devices, their own stubborn and wicked inclinations, and got worse rather than better. From the day your ancestors left Egypt until today, I have sent you all my servants the prophets, persistently sending them day after day. But they have not listened to me, have not paid attention; they have deliberately resisted, behaving worse than their ancestors. So you will tell them all this, but they will not listen to you; you will call them, but they will not answer you.” Then you are to say to them, “This is the nation that will neither listen to the voice of Yahweh its God nor take correction. Sincerity is no more, it has vanished from their mouths.

John 15: 9-13

I have loved you
just as the Father has loved me.
Remain in my love.
If you keep my commandments
you will remain in my love,
just as I have kept
    my Father’s commandments
and remain in his love.
I have told you this
so that my own joy may be in you
and your joy be complete.
This is my commandment:
love one another,
as I have loved you.
No one can have greater love
than to lay down his life for his friends.
