I consecrate Russia and the Ukraine to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

I further consecrate the priests, the Church and the world to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary.

I do this in the name of Jesus in as far as I am able, united to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, praying to the Father, in the Holy Spirit, with all the angels and saints and the souls in purgatory through the powerful intercession of Mary, Queen of Peace. Amen.

I further consecrate myself, all members of my family and ask the Holy Spirit to fill us. I spread the Blood of Jesus on all above, I cast the devil into hell away from all of us and consecrate all persons, in as far as I am able,  to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart.

Prayer for Grace for Election and our Country

Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our president and leaders. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.

R. Life is in Jesus.
We must learn surrender.
Children depend on their
parents to help them be
safe.
We have a wounded human
nature, we have tendencies
toward the deadly sins.
Pride is a deadly sin,
seeking dominance for
dominance sake.
In baptism we receive a
sharing in Divine Life, but
our human nature is still
wounded.
We must discipline ourselves
and seek to die to the ways
not like Christ, to rise in Him.

Holiness takes loving
conformity to the will of
God.
He must increase, we must
decrease.

So we can learn that to
grow in Him we seek to live
virtuously.
Surrendering to God’s will.
Living in love.
In the our Father it says “…
Thy will be done on earth as
it is in heaven.”

We don’t live our lives trying
to be King of the earth, having
power over our brothers.

Jesus is King of Kings and
Lord of Lords.

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus,
come and Reign in our
hearts and homes, in
our families, and in the
Church and the world.
We adore You, Most Sacred
Heart, we love You, we are
under You.
Amen.

Tuesday Week 1 of Lent

HOMILY – (excerpt)

Matthew 7:21

‘It is not anyone who says to me, "Lord, Lord," who will enter the kingdom of Heaven, but the person who doesthe will of my Father in heaven.’

So He repeats what is a very key line in the Lord’s Prayer, God’s will, the Father’s will, in love. This was a key of Jesus’ life wasn’t it? Jesus tells us in another place in the Gospel:

John 8:29

“...for I always do what pleases him.”

God’s will is our happiness. Every human person desires happiness; it’s built into our nature. But sad to say, many throughout human history have sought happiness in a wrongful way, but even in their sinfulness people are actually seeking happiness. But of course in their sinfulness they cannot find that happiness, because it’s only adherence, loving adherence to God’s will, to the Father’s will which gives happiness. And so people have sought, according to their own willfulness, this or that way to achieve happiness. But the further that way, that willful way was from God’s will, the less happy they became and the more miserable they became. God’s will is our only way to happiness, hard as it is at times. During this time of Lent, let us deepen our desire to do God’s will in all things, and one of the chief ways we have of deepening this determination is to purify our prayer life and to enter it with this attitude among others, this attitude which was Samuel’s as it’s recorded in the Old Testament. From the book of Samuel, first book:

1 Samuel 3: 9-11

So Samuel went and lay down in his place. Yahweh then came and stood by, calling as he had done before, ‘Samuel! Samuel!’ Samuel answered, ‘Speak, Yahweh; for your servant is listening.’

This should be the way we approach prayer, with other attitudes of course, but this is a very key attitude. Often we rush into prayer and we, as it were, start the dialogue with God. “Jesus, Father, Holy Spirit, I need this, I want this, etc., etc.” We should always open our prayer, continue our prayer and end our prayer with this basic idea of openness: “Lord, what do you want of me? Speak, Lord, your servant is listening.”

As we're soon going to see as we approach Holy Week and Good Friday, His Passion and death – Jesus sought the Father's will in everything, and He did it perfectly in perfect love in everything, even to the brutal death on the cross.

And so, when we find it hard to do God's will, let us look upon our Master Who has gone before us, Who has suffered as no one else with a human nature ever has, ever will – He has suffered more. And He tells us: I have gone before you to show you at what lengths you must go to do the Father's will. I have suffered much more than you will ever suffer, and when you find it most difficult to do the Father's will, come to Me and I will help you shoulder the burden. Because I have also told you in My Gospel this thought: Come to Me you who are weary and find life burdensome and I will refresh you. My yoke is easy, My yoke is sweet and My burden light, My burden light.

So no matter how hard it is to do God's will in the objective order of things, it becomes relatively light if we seek out the strength of Jesus. And of course it's in the Eucharist where we most meet up with that strength. Eucharistic Heart of Jesus, we place our trust in You, help us to live by these words more and more. The Father's will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

And also I'd like to bring to your attention, that an aspect of the Father's will for you is that very, very special mission He has given to each of you. During Lent, deepen your resolve to fulfill your mission in Christ Jesus. No one else can do that.

If anyone has a problem with a poor self-image or a poor self-identity, they are not building their existence upon this truth that we, each of us, is in the image of God. Each of us has been given a very, very, very special mission to fulfill, something no one else can accomplish. So God in His will for you has put you here for a very, very, very special reason. So when it's hard to do God's will, especially at those times, remember that the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, the Church and the world is depending upon you to fulfill your mission in life which no one else can fulfill. Yes, let us pray that each of us does the Father's will in all things including accomplishing the very special role each of us has been given.

Matthew 6:10

“...your will be done, on earth as in heaven.

Sorrowful Mysteries

The Agony in the Garden

1. Matthew 26: 36-46

Then Jesus came with them to a plot of land called Gethsemane; and he said to his disciples, 'Stay here while I go over there to pray.' He took Peter and the two sons of Zebedee with him. And he began to feel sadness and anguish. Then he said to them, 'My soul is sorrowful to the point of death. Wait here and stay awake with me.' And going on a little further he fell on his face and prayed. 'My Father,' he said, 'if it is possible, let this cup pass me by. Nevertheless, let it be as you, not I, would have it.' He came back to the disciples and found them sleeping, and he said to Peter, 'So you had not the strength to stay awake with me for one hour? Stay awake, and pray not to be put to the test. The spirit is willing enough, but human nature is weak.' Again, a second time, he went away and prayed: 'My Father,' he said, 'if this cup cannot pass by, but I must drink it, your will be done!' And he came back again and found them sleeping, their eyes were so heavy. Leaving them there, he went away again and prayed for the third time, repeating the same words. Then he came back to the disciples and said to them, 'You can sleep on now and have your rest. Look, the hour has come when the Son of man is to be betrayed into the hands of sinners. Get up! Let us go! Look, my betrayer is not far away.'

2.     Your attitude must be that of Christ.
Though he was in the form of God,
he did not deem equality with God
             something to be grasped at.
         Rather, he emptied himself
and took the form of a slave,
being born in the likeness of men.

He was known to be of human estate,
and it was thus that he humbled
             himself,
             obediently accepting even death,
             death on a cross!

     —Phil 2:5-8

3. Jesus sweat blood in the
    Garden.
4. Think of what Eve did in
    the Garden.
    Sin entered the world.
5. Jesus saw every sin that
    men would commit.
6. Jesus was willing to suffer
    for our sins.
7. Eve said “yes” to Satan.
    Jesus obeyed God’s will.
8. Jesus said “Thy will be
    done.” Jesus, despite His
    suffering, said “yes”.
9. An angel appeared to Jesus!
10. When we are weak, we
    are strong in God.

The Scourging at the Pillar

1. Luke 23: 15-19, 22

...As you can see, the man has done nothing that deserves death, so I shall have him flogged and then let him go.' But as one man they howled, 'Away with him! Give us Barabbas!' (This man had been thrown into prison because of a riot in the city and murder.)

And for the third time he spoke to them, 'But what harm has this man done? I have found no case against him that deserves death, so I shall have him flogged and then let him go.'

2. Gifts from God.
    People see the God inside
    by our love and devotion,
our sacrifice - to obey God’s
    will, lovingly.
3. Jesus sacrificed for love of
    souls. Jesus endured the
    bitter passion.
4. God is love.
    God gives us so much.
    We should have gratitude
    for God's gifts, and
    thanksgiving for God’s love
    and generosity.

The devil is hate, he works
    for division, tearing apart,
    anger, disorder, pride, and
    jealousy.
Jesus paid the price for our
    sins.
5. They whipped Jesus. They
    tore His flesh.

6. We can be instruments of
    love for Jesus.
    God gives us supernatural
    faith, hope and love in
    Baptism.
    God dwells in the graced
    baptized soul.

7. We live the Christ-life.
    In Baptism He elevates
    our knowing and loving
    capacity.
    Faith gives us the vision
    of God.
    Hope, we desire eternal
    salvation for ourselves
    and others.
    Love gives for the good
    of the other.

8. Fr. Carter said: people
    who love live in the
    moment, they aren’t
    crippled by hatred,
    unforgiveness of the past.

    We must see things
    according to the vision
    of the Father.
That is why we act to
    help build the Kingdom
    of God.

    Jesus taught us how to
    love. We follow Jesus.
    Jesus showed us how He
    endured the bitter passion
for love of us. Love gives.

    We treat others as Jesus
    wants of us.
    People were created and
    redeemed by God’s love.
    We are not selfishly caved-in
    using them in pride, anger
    and jealousy for our evil
    inside of us.
    We love others as we
    should.

9. Love works for unity,
    harmony, building up as
    God wants.
    Love works for the
    functioning of the whole.
    Jesus showed us, He
    loved us when they
    whipped Him at the pillar.
10. Love is trusting.
    Trust grows, Fr. Carter says
    in proportion to how a
    person loves.
    As one realizes God’s love
    more and more they give
love to God and others as
    they should.
God is the source of love!!

The Crowning with Thorns

1. Matthew 27: 27-31

Then the governor’s soldiers took Jesus with them into the Praetorium and collected the whole cohort round him. And they stripped him and put a scarlet cloak round him, and having twisted some thorns into a crown they put this on his head and placed a reed in his right hand. To make fun of him they knelt to him saying, ‘Hail, king of the Jews!’ And they spat on him and took the reed and struck him on the head with it. And when they had finished making fun of him, they took off the cloak and dressed him in his own clothes and led him away to crucifixion.

2. Jesus’ head was crowned
    with thorns for men’s pride,
sins in the mind, eyes, and
    hearing.
3. They pounded Jesus’
    crowned head.
    Sin is refusal to love.

4. Love is affirming.
    Love encourages. Love
    helps others know God.
Love is not afraid to love
    too much, according to
    God’s will.
    Love is a motivating force
    in how we live. Vibrancy
    in our lives comes from
    God’s love in us.

5. Meditate on Jesus' sufferings
    for love of us.
6. Love is now.
    We were created by God
    to love.
    These mean men mocked
    Jesus and spit on Jesus.

7. Love tries to make up, when
    one has offended their brother.

8. Hebrews 10:11-17

Every priest stands at his duties every day, offering over and over again the same sacrifices which are quite incapable of taking away sins. He, on the other hand, has offered one single sacrifice for sins, and then taken his seat for ever, at the right hand of God, where he is now waiting till his enemies are made his footstool. By virtue of that one single offering, he has achieved the eternal perfection of all who are sanctified. The Holy Spirit attests this to us, for after saying: No, this is the covenant I will make with them, when those days have come. the Lord says: In their minds I will plant my Laws writing them on their hearts, and I shall never more call their sins to mind, or their offences.

9. Sing: A Priest is a Gift from God

10. Without the priest we
    wouldn’t have the Eucharist.

Jesus carried the Cross

1. Every person is created by
    God and they are beautiful.
    Jesus is Savior and
    Redeemer.

2. Luke 23:26-31

As they were leading him away they seized on a man, Simon from Cyrene, who was coming in from the country, and made him shoulder the cross and carry it behind Jesus. Large numbers of people followed him, and women too, who mourned and lamented for him. But Jesus turned to them and said, ‘Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for me; weep rather for yourselves and for your children. For look, the days are surely coming when people will say, "Blessed are those who are barren, the wombs that have never borne children, the breasts that have never suckled!" Then they will begin to say to the mountains, "Fall on us!"; to the hills, "Cover us!" For if this is what is done to green wood, what will be done when the wood is dry?'

3. Jesus carried the cross
    for our sins.
    If you hate yourself and
    others and you are mad
    you hurt yourself. Jesus
    suffered for our sins.
4. The more someone sins
    the more they hate, not
    love.

5. God is Creator,
    We are creatures.

    Jesus loves us so much.
    Jesus is the Bridegroom
    of our soul.

6. God wants deep interior
    oneness with Him.
God wants us to love Him.

7. Hate comes from Satan.
    Satan wants:
    Disobedience
    Disorder
    Punishing others in meanness.

    God is love.

8. Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they shall be children of
    God.

    Blessed are they who suffer
    persecution for justice sake,
for theirs is the Kingdom of
    heaven.        Matthew 5: 9-10

You are the salt of the earth
and the light of the world.

9. Jesus fell 3 times and He kept
    getting up.
10. Dear God give us the grace
we need most, to be holy.
Do we discern the spirits? Do
we get up when we fall and
    say we are sorry?
    Do we follow Jesus?

The Crucifixion

1. Mark 15: 24-38

Then they crucified him, and shared out his clothing, casting lots to decide what each should get. It was the third hour when they crucified him. The inscription giving the charge against him read, ‘The King of the Jews’. And they crucified two bandits with him, one on his right and one on his left.

The passers–by jeered at him; they shook their heads and said, ‘Aha! So you would destroy the Temple and rebuild it in three days! Then save yourself; come down from the cross!’ The chief priests and the scribes mocked him among themselves in the same way with the words, ‘He saved others, he cannot save himself. Let the Christ, the king of Israel, come down from the cross now, for us to see it and believe.’ Even those who were crucified with him taunted him.

When the sixth hour came there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour. And at the ninth hour Jesus cried out in a loud voice, ‘Eloi, eloi, lama sabachthani?’ which means, ‘My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?’ When some of those who stood by heard this, they said, ‘Listen, he is calling on Elijah.’ Someone ran and soaked a sponge in vinegar and, putting it on a reed, gave it to him to drink saying, ‘Wait! And see if Elijah will come to take him down.’ But Jesus gave a loud cry and breathed his last. And the veil of the Sanctuary was torn in two from top to bottom.

The Father's Will for Us - Our Source of Peace

  • Pope John Paul II instructs us: "The Church, as a reconciled and reconciling community, cannot forget that at the source of her gift and mission of reconciliation is the initiative, full of compassionate love and mercy, of that God who is love (see 1 John 4:8) and who out of love created human beings (see Wisdom 11:23-26; Genesis 1:27: Psalms 8:4-8)…He created them so that they might live in friendship with Him and in communion with one another.

"God is faithful to His eternal plan even when man, under the impulse of the evil one (see Wisdom 2:24) and carried away by his own pride, abuses the freedom given to him in order to love and generously seek what is good, and (instead) refuses to obey his Lord and Father. God is faithful even when man, instead of responding with love to God’s love, opposes Him and treats Him like a rival, deluding himself and relying on his own power, with the resulting break of relationship with the One who created him. In spite of this transgression on man’s part, God remains faithful in love.

"It is certainly true that the story of the Garden of Eden makes us think about the tragic consequences of rejecting the Father, which becomes evident in man’s inner disorder and in the breakdown of harmony between man and woman, brother and brother (see Genesis 3:12 ff; 4:1-16). Also significant is the Gospel parable of the two brothers (the parable of the ‘prodigal son’; see Luke 15:11-32) who, in different ways, distance themselves from their father and cause a rift between them. Refusal of God’s fatherly love and of His loving gifts is always at the root of humanity’s divisions.

"But we know that God…like the father in the parable (of the prodigal son), does not close His heart to any of His children. He waits for them, looks for them, goes to meet them at the place where the refusal of communion imprisons them in isolation and division. He calls them to gather about His table in the joy of the feast of forgiveness and reconciliation.

"This initiative on God’s part is made concrete and manifest in the redemptive act of Christ, which radiates through the world by means of the ministry of the Church." 13

Introduction to Blue Book 15

Excerpt from Response in Christ - Chapter 4 by Fr. Edward J. Carter, S.J.

In schematic outline we have discussed the manner in which the baptized Christian extends his Mass to his daily existence. As he so lives out his Mass, he is becoming more Christlike. He becomes a more perfect priest and victim for his next participation in the eucharistic sacrifice.42 The beautiful cycle which the Mass contains lies exposed before us. As part of this cycle the Christian is intimately involved in the process of continued redemption. The Mass is the center of the Christian life: “. . . the liturgy is the summit toward which the activity of the Church is directed; at the same time it is the fount from which all her power flows.” 43

42. For a current treatment of the varied richness of the Eucharist, cf. J. Wicks, “The Movement of Eucharistic Theology” in Chicago Studies,Vol. 10 (1971), pp. 267-284.
43. The
Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy, No. 10.

4. Blue Book III, p. 103 May the 25th, 1994

Mary: As tenderly as I beheld my beautiful Son in my arms with such love, I watched His death on the cross with such anguish. My heart torn apart by the sight of Him hanging in such pain. I scarce could stand. I was held up by my beloved John. Joy and pain. The pain to behold Him in His suffering and the joy to know your salvation was won through His blood. Such lamenting! I could not cry deep enough for the anguish I felt. His blood was spent. His life was given. He did this, my child, for love of you. I am your Mother. I love you, my precious ones. I love you as I love my beautiful Son, Jesus. I am Mary, your beloved Mother. Call to Me. I know your sufferings. I will comfort you. I suffered for love of you. You are so precious to us. Live in the love of my Son. He is with you this day in the Eucharist. I am Mary, your Mother. Thank you for responding to my call.

5. Mary’s Message from the Rosary of August 27, 1996

Mary:  I stood beneath the cross of my Son, and my Heart was in such pain for I saw Him before my eyes. I saw Him covered with blood. I saw Him die. My Heart, my children, my Heart to watch my Son, but my Heart, my Heart, how I suffered for my little children of the world that give in to this world and give up the love of my Son. O my little children of light, I give you this message. Carry this light into the darkness for your Mother Mary, for I stood beneath the cross and I cried. I cried for the little ones. I cried for the young ones, the ones that do not care and will lose their souls. How do I make you see for you will not listen to me? What can I do? I come. I appear. I beg. I plead. I give you these gifts from my Son, and you reject me. I do not deliver messages very often anymore for I have been ignored. The message is the same. You do not read the messages I have given to you. Please help me. Help the little children. I appear. I appear. I appear, and I am ignored. I stood beneath the cross, and I cried. I cried, and my Heart was in such anguish for my little children, for I am searching for them this day as I searched for the Child Jesus. Please, please help me. I cannot hold back the hand of my Son any longer. I am Mary, your Mother. I ask you to help my children. You are my children of light. end of Mary's Message

6. August the 23, 1993 Jesus: ‘Oh God, My God, why have you forsaken Me?’ I did this for love of you so you could get to heaven. For the love of you, I gave you My body to My death. My child, I shed My blood and gave My life that you might be with Me forever in heaven - not for a day or a month or a year, but forever with Me in heaven. I am the true Bread come down from heaven. He who eats My flesh will have life forever, for the drink I give you is My Blood and the food you eat is My Body. Who would lay down his life for a friend? I did for you. I love you this much, child. Forget about those who reject you. You have My life that I gave to you and I gave you life eternal. I am the one true God. I am the Light of Life. He who abides in Me will have life eternal, for the drink I give is My Blood and the food I give is My Body.” He really says, “I am the one true God.” He said that “I am the one true God.” “Drink and eat and have everlasting life. My child, that is all you need to know. Love one another and be good that you may enter into My Kingdom.”

7. August the 23, 1993 Jesus: At the top, they laid Me on the cross and with a big hammer nailed My hands to it. It was the worst suffering yet. My hands were nailed with big nails and a big hammer. Oh, it was unbelievable! Then, as if that wasn’t enough, with a big nail, they nailed both feet. Oh, how could you do this to anyone! Then they lifted the cross and banged it into a hole in the ground. My body hung by the weight of My hands, supported by My feet. My shoulders ached and how I hung. My head bobbed and My neck ached and they laughed at Me. ‘Now save Yourself.’ I hurt so much. I suffered this way for hours, which seemed like forever. They glared at Me and they laughed and My Mother watched in such agony.

8. Sing: A Song from Jesus

9. A Prayer Before the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass

Let me be a holy sacrifice and unite with God in the sacrament of His greatest love.

I want to be one in Him in this act of love, where He gives Himself to me and I give myself as a sacrifice to Him. Let me be a holy sacrifice as I become one with Him in this my act of greatest love to Him.

Let me unite with Him more, that I may more deeply love Him. May I help make reparation to His adorable Heart and the heart of His Mother, Mary. With greatest love, I offer myself to You and pray that You will accept my sacrifice of greatest love. I give myself to You and unite in Your gift of Yourself to me. Come and possess my soul.

Cleanse me, strengthen me, heal me. Dear Holy Spirit act in the heart of Mary to make me more and more like Jesus.

Father, I offer this my sacrifice, myself united to Jesus in the Holy Spirit to You. Help me to love God more deeply in this act of my greatest love.

Give me the grace to grow in my knowledge, love and service of You and for this to be my greatest participation in the Mass. Give me the greatest graces to love You so deeply in this Mass, You who are so worthy of my love.

-Mass Book, December 27, 1995

10. From the Mass Book, p.187

The Earth Stopped and I Touched Heaven

I long to unite in the deepest union with Him in the Eucharist. I long for the Mass. I long for Thee, oh God. My every moment, I join as I did to You December 15 under the cross, where I felt Your presence. You whisked me away, and I was totally absorbed in that moment of celestial union with You. For that time, I existed only in You, in the deepest union, and I was in this moment existing in You. The earth stopped, and I touched the heavens, all my bodily cares were existent in You. I existed in Your Divinity, my being was in You. There was no desire or wish or wanting, for in that moment, I had all I wanted in You. I was satisfied and wanted nothing but to remain in that embrace. You were the Being, and my being existed in You, but I was only as I was in You - merged in You, knowing and being in Your Divinity and being so full as to feel complete in myself.

Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle B of the Litugical Year (2011/2012)
$ 10.00

Guiding Light homily series — Reflect on the Word — Cycle B     The Word leaves an impression on our souls. In my thoughts and reflections are born a more tangible understanding of these eternal concepts presented in the Gospels and the readings. Anyone can read a sentence, but not anyone can absorb it's true meaning. Truth, in this day and age, is almost a matter of opinion or individual entitlement. We believe that Christ's truth is our Roman Catholic Church. We, as priests, champion it's teachings; we are ambassadors for the Pope and Christ to those faces looking at us. We are the light by which our congregation reads to reflect upon real truth and we do it hand in hand. $10

Guiding Light - Steadfast to the Son
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle A of the Litugical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light homily series — Steadfast to the Son — Cycle A    The sunflower is a great example of how we should be steadfastly guided by light. What a powerful thought that this exceptional plant is not stuck in one pose day in and day out, yet adaptable and magnetized to the sun. We feel the same about our Son. Our heads turns to face Christ as each day presents its challenges to find light. We join together like plants in a field and soak up the Son through the pulpit. We are a warm circle of strength using the wind of our breath to carry our priests' words, Christ's words, to new rich soil. $10

Guiding Light - Focusing on the Word
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle B of the Litugical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light — Focusing on the Word — Cycle B    At times we may feel that our path to Christ is a bit "out of focus". Like the disciples in the Book of Mark, this ordinary life clouds our vision of Christ's Divinity. We may doubt the practicality or possibility of applying His teachings and example to our modern life. Cycle B's homilies are a "guiding light" to help us realize Jesus' Messianic greatness and His promise of better things to come. $10

Guiding Light - Feed My Soul
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle C of the Litugical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light — Feed My Soul — Cycle C    In a world rapidly advancing and encouraging personal gain, we are faced with modern problems. There is a challenge to find time in our busy schedules for Sunday Mass or a family meal. We are able to research, shop, bank and even work without hearing one human voice. It is no wonder that we may often feel disconnected and famished at our week's end. In Fr. Joe's third book of homilies from Cycle C, we are reminded of the charity that Christ intended us to show each other. We have a calling to turn the other cheek and be the Good Samaritan to others. We are rewarded with the Father's kingdom and love when we are not worthy. We are not left alone or hungry. $10
