Messenger:            Today Our Lord told me to go to Church at the
                                    hospital that we went to the day Fr. Carter
                                    died, December 18, 2000.

                                Our Lord told me to get to Michigan on December 18, 2000
                                    as soon as possible, everybody seemed to
                                    deter me from getting there.

                                I felt as if I was tied and not able to move
                                    Fr. Carter was in Michigan, I was in Florida
                                    we had the 17th anniversary celebration in Florida
                                    and I knew at 3:00 AM on December 18th that
                                    Fr. Carter would die.

                                    He was there and Our Lord said to get
                                        up there right away.

                                    I tried to make the connection to get
                                        there.

                                    John & I decided to go together.

                                    When John and I got to Michigan we got
                                        a call at the exact time the Shepherds
                                        of Christ 6:20 prayers were ending.

                                    Fr. Carter's sister called and said
                                        Fr. Carter just died.

                                We heard him deliver the Shepherds of
                                    Christ prayers on the tape in the
                                    car as we tried to find Columbiere
                                    in Michigan and then his sister
                                    called and said Father died.

Messenger:            I called the priest who helps us crying and
                                    he said ask them to keep the body
                                    until you get there.

                                Well we were lost and when we finally
                                    got there, they told us they had to
                                    take the body.

                                I know the timing was perfect because
                                    Jesus was with us in a very strong
                                    way.

Messenger:            I guess Father Carter knew on December 14, 2000
                                    he wouldn't see us again.

Messenger:            He was at Columbiere just that long—
                                    the evening of December 14, 2000 - December 18, 2000

                                Then when John & I got there they told us
                                    we could go to his room.

                                The door was closed and on the door was the
                                    St. Francis crucifix.

                                This moment is engraved in my heart.

                                    And the crucifix is so special to me.

                                    Instead of being with Father on his
                                        death bed—

                                    It was like the empty tomb and

                                        what is vividly imprinted in my
                                        heart - the vision of the St. Francis
                                        crucifix, I never had paid attention
                                        to before.

                                    It was very small about 3½ inches.

                                On his door in that short amount of time
                                    he had put this little crucifix.

                                It looked like this.

Messenger:            I scanned this from the one I found
                                    when I got home in his belongings
                                    the same size, identical.

                               When I got to his door—the tomb was
                                    empty and I was shown this
                                    crucifix, the St. Francis Crucifix—
                                    St. Francis' mission was to help
                                    rebuild the Church—

                                It was as if God said to me and John—
                                    "This is your mission now

                                I am taking Fr. Carter to heaven and
                                    asking you to continue Fr. Carter's
                                    mission to help renew the Church
                                    and the world."

                                When I got home I found this little identical
                                    crucifix in Fr. Carter's things.

                                I can hear Fr. Carter say
                                    Rita, "I am not going to be around
                                            forever, you and John are
                                            going to have to run the Movement."

                                    I cry to write this, but from this time,
                                        this crucifix of St. Francis is so
                                        dear to me.

                                    I feel this was the message Jesus gave
                                        to us.

                                Today Our Lord sent me to this hospital
                                    for Mass to where a holy Franciscan
                                    priest celebrated Mass. He was the
                                    same priest who said Mass the day
                                    Father died. John and I went to
                                    Mass here when we stopped in
                                    Cincinnati on our way to Michigan.

                                He held up the Franciscan crucifix.

                                I want to account what happened in the
                                    room with John and me after we saw
                                    the crucifix.

Messenger:   John and I now sit in Father's room in Colombiere, where he died. We just missed his body, which had been taken away. 

    We loved to see his room and were heart broken we missed our
beloved priest who passed away at 7:10 p.m. 

    Emily called, and John and I and Emily, on the phone, prayed the
Chaplet of Mercy. John and I were at his bed, John knelt by
the bed and I sat on the bed and we prayed. I felt his very strong
presence with us. It was sometime shortly after 9:00 p.m. when we
finished.

    John looked at the clock in Father's room and it said 7:09, one
minute before he died. 

    At one point when I was in the room when we first
got there, I heard all this noise in the clock and I said to myself "What is wrong with that clock?"
I did not look at it. Then we prayed the Divine Mercy
a second time which ended shortly after nine. The second time
we prayed, Emily prayed with us on the phone. That is when John looked at the clock and it
said 7:09. But actually it was a little after 9 p.m. The clock continued to operate normally with the earlier time.
 

  

    I see his little Pooh bear here we gave him. He said
he always "goes with the flow like Winnie the Pooh." I see
his scapular and his apostle pendant he wore around
his neck that turned from gold to silver and his apostle rosary,
that he always prayed on.
 

    
  

    There are beautiful roses we sent him and a big card
Melanie made with lots of signatures. Father Carter loved
so many, so deeply.
 

 

    I call to mind a line from the Sound of Music, it goes
something like "How do you hold a moon-beam in your
hand?" He died at 7:10 p.m. about the time a lot of people are
ending or still praying the 6:20 prayers. I know our Lord wanted
him to die then.

    Jesus died on the cross and many of his apostles were not with
him. Everyone had every reason why I should not go here to Colombiere and I knew Jesus wanted us here. John and I are still in his room. I feel him
with us in a special way.

    Last night at 3:00 a.m,. when our Lord gave me the message, I could see
the glories of heaven and how hard it is here and I thought "why
would I want Father to stay if God wants to give him his reward."

                                    to help us to do what Jesus told 
                                    Fr. Carter to do.

                                    Today I give you this message.

                                    On Friday, I want to be especially
                                        honored as the Sacred Heart.
                                        I ask you to pray on Friday
                                        between the hours of 12:00 & 3:00.

                                    can be labeled with a gold
                                    label that says from the

                                    Hearts of Jesus and Mary—

                                You do not know the importance of

                                Having these pictures in the homes
                                    will make a difference.

                                It is important to your children.

                                Have red t-shirts with the Sacred Heart
                                    on Fr. Carter's ordination card on it.
                                Have these shirts for the little ones to wear.

                                Tell the children of the world Mary is
                                    their Mother.

                                I am Jesus.

                                I want My image to be placed in all homes.
                                I want pictures of My Sacred Heart in the homes.

                                I love you so very much.

                               I will protect your little ones in a special way,
                                    if you ask Me and display images of My
                                    Sacred Heart.

                                Have the little images on the heart area
                                    of the shirt so My image will be

Messenger:            I am very aware of Jesus with me.

                                The pictures help me to feel His
                                    presence with me.

                                I cannot imagine what it would
                                    be like without pictures of
                                    Jesus and Mary in my home.

                                I am always aware of His presence.
                                    The pictures are very important to
                                    me, I like to look at them and
                                    think of Jesus.

I give my heart to Jesus and Mary with you in LOVE!!!

I just wanted to share a healing with you that occurred during the 5:20 prayers (hook-up) Sept. 5th. Rachel, my youngest had been running a 103.5 fever for two days and right in the middle of the hook-up, she came in and sat on my lap and I noticed her temp was normal where it had been high at 5:30. I knew right away it was from the prayer service and the fever never returned.
Thank You Jesus and Mary!

I just thought to share in case SofC was making notes.

Messenger:        My legs have hurt me so bad since
                                June 20, 2002.

                            I was told to go to New York with Emily
                                and Doris June 20, 2002 for only the
                                day...

                            Jesus told me June 19, 2002 to go up
                                there on June 20, 2002, look at
                                where the buildings were and
                                come back....

                            We left early and as soon as we got to
                                the airport my legs began to hurt,
                                especially my right leg, the
                                knees, it is a long story.

                            For the past months, most nights I
                                couldn't sleep and it has
                                been a struggle and painful...

                          (On September 5, 2002)
                                I prayed really hard at the rosary for my
                                legs. I felt the rain was helping
                                to wash away my leg problem
                                as it came down on us and I
                                saw the beautiful window
                                before me.

                            It was more brilliantly blue than I
                                ever saw.

                            The gold was like a red-golden fire
                                and the whole next day my day was
                                spent in such joy having seen her,

                            but the good thing is, I feel healing
                                in my legs from the 5th.

                            I prayed to Mary to intercede for healing
                                for my leg problem.

                Jesus told me that Spelt was good for me
                    and He told me to take it.
                I have taken it since about June 1997.
                It is a very good grain. I get it from 
                Kraft Specialties, Cincinnati, Ohio.
                I thank God for this great food.

                I take it every day as Our Lord told me
                    to.
                I mix the granules in boiling water
                    and let it sit a little while then
                    I drink it. It has helped me very
                    much to feel good.
