The Novena Rosary
Mysteries |
Pray for Chuck, Cathy, Jeff, Melanie,
Rita's Intentions & special Intentions.
Consecration Prayer for Peace
I consecrate Russia and the Ukraine to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
I further consecrate the priests, the Church and the world to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary.
I do this in the name of Jesus in as far as I am able, united to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, praying to the Father, in the Holy Spirit, with all the angels and saints and the souls in purgatory through the powerful intercession of Mary, Queen of Peace. Amen.
I further consecrate myself, all members of my family and ask the Holy Spirit to fill us. I spread the Blood of Jesus on all above, I cast the devil into hell away from all of us and consecrate all persons, in as far as I am able, to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart.
Prayer for Grace for our Country
Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our president and leaders. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.

Mysteries of Light
The Baptism of Jesus in the Jordon
1. Mark 1: 9-11It was at this time that Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and was baptised in the Jordan by John. And at once, as he was coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens torn apart and the Spirit, like a dove, descending on him. And a voice came from heaven, ‘You are my Son, the Beloved; my favour rests on you.’
2. Jesus wants us to pray the prayers often and to spread them to the ends of the earth.
3. They are so powerful. Jesus has told us He gives us special protection against satan when we pray the prayers. It is His intention to use these prayers majorly to help renew the Church and the world so He wants us to pray them for the priests, the Church and the world.
4. Jesus told us many things and we do not listen. Jesus has allowed us to suffer and in praying the prayers we have received much relief from the sufferings.
5. These are the mysteries of light.
The light shines in the darkness, the darkness doesn’t get it.6. Doing God's will the best we can, Jesus did this.
Romans 8:14-17
All who are guided by the Spirit of God are sons of God; for what you received was not the spirit of slavery to bring you back into fear; you received the Spirit of adoption, enabling us to cry out, 'Abba, Father!' The Spirit himself joins with our spirit to bear witness that we are children of God. And if we are children, then we are heirs, heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ, provided that we share his suffering, so as to share his glory.
7. From Tell My People by Fr. Carter
Reflection: The Holy Spirit is given to us to fashion us ever more according to the likeness of Jesus. And the more we are like Jesus, the more Jesus leads us to the Father. Do we, each day, pray to the Holy Spirit to be more open to His transforming influence? Do we strive each day to grow in union with Mary? The greater our union with our Mother, the spouse of the Holy Spirit, the greater is the transforming action of the Holy Spirit within us.
8. Mary: Love gives. Love does not hold back. It fills the heart and wants to pour out endless blessings, endless gifts of love.
9. From Tell My People by Fr. Carter
Mary Our Mother
“My beloved friend, tell My people to come to My Mother. From the cross, as I was suffering indescribable agony, I gave Mary as spiritual Mother to the world. My great love for My people prompted Me to do this. I am Lord and Master, and I want My people to come to My Mother and their Mother. If you wish to be close to Me, come to Mary. Consecrate yourselves to her. In this way you will grow into the closest union with Me. Through her Immaculate Heart, you will be drawn more and more into My own Heart. It is My desire that you allow My Mother to place you within My Heart which loves you with an unfathomable love! This is My wish— that you come to Me enfolded by Mary’s mantle, cradled in her arms, pressed against her Heart.”Jesus:
10. Sing: Ave, Ave, Ave Maria
The Wedding at Cana
1. John 2: 1-10On the third day there was a wedding at Cana in Galilee. The mother of Jesus was there, and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited. And they ran out of wine, since the wine provided for the feast had all been used, and the mother of Jesus said to him, ‘They have no wine.’ Jesus said, ‘Woman, what do you want from me? My hour has not come yet.’ His mother said to the servants, ‘Do whatever he tells you.’ There were six stone water jars standing there, meant for the ablutions that are customary among the Jews: each could hold twenty or thirty gallons. Jesus said to the servants, ‘Fill the jars with water,’ and they filled them to the brim. Then he said to them, ‘Draw some out now and take it to the president of the feast.’ They did this; the president tasted the water, and it had turned into wine. Having no idea where it came from—though the servants who had drawn the water knew—the president of the feast called the bridegroom and said, ‘Everyone serves good wine first and the worse wine when the guests are well wined; but you have kept the best wine till now.’
2. Jesus: My beloved one, it is in the dark hours that I stand by your bed and I wait for you. And many times I wake you and I see you in a panic. And I am longing and I am crying out to you, talk to Me, be with Me, tell Me of your love. And I see you. And I see your mind go. And I see you think of all the worries in your life and all of the things that you must do. And I want this time. I want this time to be alone with you. I want to be united in Our Hearts in such oneness. And you are in your head, as your head runs as a machine, as a busy machine, manufacturing thoughts of fear, terror and concern. And it could have been moments that we spent in the most intimate oneness with each other. When I wake you in the middle of the night, you must come to Me. You must not give in to running thoughts of fear in your head. You must be alone with Me in your heart. I am dwelling in you. The Father dwells in your graced, baptized soul, when you are in the state of grace. The Holy Spirit is with you now. We are longing for your love. Will you spend those moments being alone with Me in the dark night? It is then that you feel isolated.
3. Jesus: Dear child, the Son of Man waits and you sleep in the night. I wait for you and you sleep. You know I am waiting and you are dead in your bed. Awake, My little one, when I call. You must not give in to the desires of the body. I care for your needs. Your strength comes from Me. Jump from your bed, sound the trumpet and arise, for your Savior comes in the night to bring you a message for all His children. Ready yourself, for I do not like to wait. Get up and come, child. I am God.
4. Jesus: I am He Who made the world, He Who makes the sun shine and the baby in the womb! You make Me wait while you sleep. Rise and run, for the Lord is at hand. God awaits you and beckons you to be attentive to your calling. Sound the trumpet! Arise in the night. I am He Who comes to you. You must harken to the call. Come pronto to My request and do not tarry. I wait and I wait and I eagerly want to talk to you.
5. Jesus: I am Jesus, Son of the Living God. Oh, child, I want these messages to reach the ends of this earth. I deliver each with such love. Will you deliver My messages to all My loved ones?
6. R. And if we do not for a moment, feel God’s presence, all we need do is look at the crucified body of Jesus as He hung on the cross. I saw His body. I saw Him hanging on the cross. And in all of the things that I have seen and I have experienced, it is so hard to keep my focus many times on His presence. But I want to speak about this again. I want to speak about this that we will all stop at this moment and that we will envision the body of a Man, the full size of a Man, the Man that has been beaten and bloodied and close to the point of death. That we will see how men unmercifully nailed Him to the cross. We will see the nails in His hands and the blood as it rolls down His body. And we will look at the face of this Man and we will see the hollow cheeks. We will see the weakness in His face. And we will also see the mouth of this Man move, move. But we do not hear anything for He says that people do not hear. But then He says to us that we must speak for we are His mouth in this world. We are His hands. We are His feet. We are His Heart beating in this world. As we breathe, and as our heart beats, we breathe into this world a positive energy, a life-filled energy. The beating Heart, the life and the love of the Almighty God or we breathe into this world a negative energy. An energy that may be filled with fear, an energy that will hurt those that we talk to, that will not lead others to God. We are Christ to one another in this world. How would Christ act if He was here? If He was talking? It is so difficult. I look to Jesus and I say, “ I am not a saint, Jesus.” I will try to do whatever I can. But when it gets hard, many times I give in. And then I go to Mass and I put myself so securely in the Immaculate Heart of Mary and I take the great gift that He gives to me which is union with Him. Because I can take my impurities and go to the heart of Mary. But I know that it says in the third Blue Book, “Is the glass half empty or half full?” I know that this is Pentecost and there will be a great reign of the Sacred Heart. And I know that He has called me and every person in this room to be a major part of helping to bring about the Reign of His Sacred Heart. And I know the way that I am walking now that my cross is kind of dragging on the ground and I am falling underneath it. And I am giving in many times when I could be looking into the eyes of the other and spreading His love. I am spreading that negative energy that is not what He wants me to do. Oh Jesus, I love You. I love Your Heart full of love!
7. Sing: A Song from Jesus
8. “My dear Father, I offer You this day all my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings in union with Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, in the Holy Spirit.
9. “I unite with our Mother, Mary, all the angels and saints, and all the souls in purgatory to pray to the Father for myself, for each member of my family, for my friends, for all the people throughout the world, for all the souls in purgatory, and for all other intentions of the Sacred Heart.
10. “I love You, Jesus, and I give You my heart. I love you, Mary, and I give you my heart. Amen.” Morning Offering
Building the Kingdom of God
1. R. We lift our arms - we give ourselves to the Father - united to Jesus. We pray for Thy Kingdom Come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We beg the Father for this. We beg God to take away the sins of this earth in the Lamb of God. Jesus is the Lamb of God. The Mass is the Sacrifice of Calvary, sacramentally made present. We seek to be pure in our interior offering. If we go to the Heart of Mary, we are within her Immaculate Heart. It is there we become deeper in our union with the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus.
2. R. Jesus is the light that shines in our dark souls and our imperfections are brought to light that we might die to them and be more like Him. We come broken; we are made whole. We are sinners. We are made holy through the workings of the Holy Spirit in the Heart of Mary. We die that we may live in Him.
3. R. Take away my sins, cleanse me, have mercy on me, oh God, that I may be more like You! I give myself as an offering to help make reparation for my sins and the sins of men. My sacrifice is offered united to Jesus in the Mass, to the Father, to give God greater love. You, God, are all worthy of my love, my sacrifice is offered to be one with You. I give myself to You and unite as deeply as possible to You to be a lover like You in the world. And He gives us Himself. Our loving capacity is elevated to such heights as we unite to Him. We feel God’s presence in us. We want the presence of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit deep in our soul. We are in awe of the Almighty, All-Powerful, all-loving God.
4. R. And I walk to the altar to receive Jesus. Jesus is there. Jesus gives me Himself. He gives Himself to me in the Holy Eucharist.
5. R. These moments after communion are the dearest moments of all - when He unites to us, His feeble creatures, and He gives Himself most intimately with me. I become one in Him and I know things, insights, into God, that I never knew before. I know My Divine Lover more deeply in my being in a most intimate union. God tells me in my heart the Father’s will for me. I feel His presence within my chest - it is the presence of God.
6. R. I give thanks to Him and remain with Him so one in my heart. God blesses me. My heart has been lifted to a new height in this great union with Him.
7. R. The whisperings in my heart. He outpours His grace to me. The seeds of Our Blessed Savior, alive in my heart, ready to germinate and bring forth light in the world.
8. R. Oh, God, I thank you for this gift and I pray: “Thy Kingdom Come, thy Will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”
9. R. Amen. Alleluia. Praise the Lord, for he has visited His people and the earth is full of His love, alive in our hearts.
10. These few remarks give examples of how each member of the People of God is called upon to relive Christ’s entire life as centered in death-resurrection. More could be said. But we think our remarks have sufficed to indicate how the Christian is to live out these various mysteries of Christ. Moreover, let it be recalled that all the mysteries ultimately make up the one mystery of Christ.
The Transfiguration
1. Luke 9: 28-36Now about eight days after this had been said, he took with him Peter, John and James and went up the mountain to pray. And it happened that, as he was praying, the aspect of his face was changed and his clothing became sparkling white. And suddenly there were two men talking to him; they were Moses and Elijah appearing in glory, and they were speaking of his passing which he was to accomplish in Jerusalem. Peter and his companions were heavy with sleep, but they woke up and saw his glory and the two men standing with him. As these were leaving him, Peter said to Jesus, ‘Master, it is wonderful for us to be here; so let us make three shelters, one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah.’ He did not know what he was saying. As he was saying this, a cloud came and covered them with shadow; and when they went into the cloud the disciples were afraid. And a voice came from the cloud saying, ‘This is my Son, the Chosen One. Listen to him.’ And after the voice had spoken, Jesus was found alone. The disciples kept silence and, at that time, told no one what they had seen.
2. Jesus: Do not hold on to foolish things. One moment and your days on this earth have ended. All that remains is how you loved. Did you love God? Did you love your neighbor? Love is not selfish. It gives of itself. Its whole purpose is to draw
the other closer to Jesus.
3. Jesus: Study the crucifix. It is such a comfort! I loved you so. I died for you. I would die for you alone this very day, little ones! Look at Me dying on the cross! The way to Me is to follow Me. Be Christ-like in your ways. You must study Me to know My ways. Do not give in to yourselves. My way is love. Will you be the reflection of the love of God within you? My way is the way of the cross. They persecuted Me, they hurt Me, they tore My flesh and spit on Me. They did this to Me for My love given to all! This world is not your end. You follow My ways and you move as you should toward your goal.
4. Jesus: I am Jesus, I am the Son of God. I love you so ardently. I died and shed My blood, My beautiful blood, for love of you. I await you this day, My little ones. I loved you so I remain with you in the Eucharist. I await, I long for you to come and share in our love. I am the tenderest of Hearts. No man can be close to you as I. I love you so. I want to dwell and live within you. I want to fill you with all My love and radiate My love to your beloved brothers. I want to shine from your souls.
5. Jesus: You are the light that will shine in this dark world. You will light up the darkest night with My love.
6. Jesus: The best gift you can give to this world is to busy yourself about your love affair with Me. I love you, My little ones. I love you and I want to share this love with you.
7. Jesus: Love your brothers. Do not let satan talk in your heads and make them wrong and you right. Love them as I have loved you. Do not look at your brothers and size them up. See them with the eyes of God, the beautiful creations of the Father.
8.
Jesus: Will you love My beloved ones for Me this day, or will you say “no” to My call? Love your brothers in darkness. They need your love. I am calling you to love them for Me this very day. They may scoff at you and persecute you, but you will plant a seed that I Myself will water and give sunlight to. Plant seeds of love. This is the most important seed you will plant, a seed of love. Watch it grow as I provide it with water and nourishment. I will shine on your brothers through you if you stay in My love. Be the light that shines on this dark world. They are crying out for the love of God. They are suffering. They need your love.9. Jesus: Put yourselves aside. Die to yourselves. Live only for the love of God. If the world goes one way, you stay focused on My love. Do not follow the world. Follow the risen Christ! I love you so, little ones. I bring you new life. I fill your hearts with My love. Pray to the Holy Spirit for His gifts. Pray the Our Father. Let My mother mother you as she mothered Me. She loved you so. She suffered so for love of you. She appears to bring you back to her beloved Son. Will you answer her call? She is calling you to put God first in your life. She is calling you to love, love of God, love of one another.
10. Jesus: Forgive your brothers. Empty your hearts of hate and anger and let go. Let all your anger go. Give Me your resentments and let Me heal your hearts. Forgiveness is the way to peace. Let go. Do not size up your brothers. Love them all. Pray for them. Unite in My love. Love is a miracle cure. Say you are sorry. Be gentle in your ways. Pray for your needs. I love you, little ones. I am with you this day.
Will you answer the call and love for Me? I love you. I am your beloved Jesus. I would die this day just for you. I love you the same as I did the day I died. Turn to Me and give Me your life. I will care for you and love you. I am your Savior. I am Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God. Let Me live in your heart!

Institution of the Eucharist at the Last Supper
1. A Prayer before the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass
Let me be a holy sacrifice and unite with God in the sacrament of His greatest love.
I want to be one in Him in this act of love, where He gives Himself to me and I give myself as a sacrifice to Him. Let me be a holy sacrifice as I become one with Him in this my act of greatest love to Him.
Let me unite with Him more, that I may more deeply love Him. May I help make reparation to His adorable Heart and the heart of His Mother, Mary. With greatest love, I offer myself to You and pray that You will accept my sacrifice of greatest love. I give myself to You and unite in Your gift of Yourself to me. Come and possess my soul.
Cleanse me, strengthen me, heal me. Dear Holy Spirit act in the heart of Mary to make me more and more like Jesus.
Father, I offer this my sacrifice, myself united to Jesus in the Holy Spirit to You. Help me to love God more deeply in this act of my greatest love.
Give me the grace to grow in my knowledge, love and service of You and for this to be my greatest participation in the Mass. Give me the greatest graces to love You so deeply in this Mass, You who are so worthy of my love.
-Mass Book, December 27, 1995
2. Excerpt from Response in Christ by Fr. Edward J. Carter, S.J.
1) The Interior offering of Our Lord
The sacrifice which Christ offered for the redemption of the world was first and foremost an interior moral act. Christ's life possessed its great value because of His interior dispositions. His entire life was a constant gift of Himself in love to the Father and to mankind, and Calvary was the supreme expression of this gift. This gift of self was regulated by a perfect conformity to His Father's will.
Christ not only was constantly living out this interior disposition of sacrifice, but He strove to inculcate the necessity of it in the Jews of His time. He constantly opposed a false and legalistic concentration on the mere externals of Jewish purifications, for such an attitude tended to diminish the necessary internal dispositions. The synoptic theology of sacrifice stresses this attitude of Christ. Bernard Cooke states: "This insistence of Jesus on internal dispositions characterizes the Synoptic theology of sacrifice, which continues and completes the prophetic emphasis on the moral and individual aspect of sacrifice. . . . One must be careful, however, not to exaggerate the opposition (either in the prophets or in the Synoptic Gospels) between cult and internal dispositions of soul."13
13. Bernard Cooke, “Synoptic Presentation of the Eucharist as Covenant Sacrifice” in Theological Studies, Vol. 21 (1960), p. 12.
R.
I know at the Mass there is immense grace being released. The more I unite in oneness with Jesus the more I am one with everyone else. I cannot reach this great oneness with Jesus unless I go through the Immaculate Heart of Mary.3. Excerpt from Response in Christ by Fr. Edward J. Carter, S.J.
The Sacraments and the Mass
4) Acceptance of the Sacrifice by God
In order that the sacrifice might reach its extrinsic consummation God on His part must accept it. God's acceptance of sacrifice has been shown in various ways. Among the Hebrews assurance of the divine acceptance was seen in the phenomenon of fire falling from heaven and consuming the victim of sacrifice. In the absence of such a heavenly token, there was at least some assurance that God accepted the sacrifice because of the duly consecrated altar itself. The altar received the gifts of sacrifice, and in doing so symbolized God's acceptance of the same. . . .
4. These are the mysteries of light.
The Eucharist, surely, is the Light.
5. Sing: Oh Lord, I am not Worthy
6. Song: A Song from Jesus
7. Sing: My God and My All8.
9. A Banquet is Prepared
Reference: Matthew 22: 1-14 - Parable of the Wedding feast
R:
The banquet is prepared and the cup runs over. For He has invited the souls to the wedding feast and He is the groom.Jesus:
How is your gown, My beloved soul? For I give Myself to you and I am rejected by the souls. Do you come with your garment pure for the feast?I am Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and I give Myself to you. Will you come to the feast and share in the victory? For a soul is transformed, it is saturated with My life. I give to you My Body and My Blood, you are transformed!
R.
I see how He takes ordinary bread and wine and it is transformed into the Body and Blood of Jesus. So what makes me think, in all my imperfections, He cannot change me, no matter how I am and what my imperfections are. In the Eucharist He gives me Himself and I am transformed more and more into His image and likeness, but my disposition must be one of wanting to be changed by Him.10. Jesus: I am the way, the truth and the life. I came into the world, the Almighty God, born of a woman. You cannot be haughty and proud in your hearts. As long as the priests persist in not following the Fatima message, the world will suffer. It is through the hands of consecrated priests the grace will flow from the highest altar and be outpoured in the greatest abundance on the earth.
I am God, Almighty and true. A banquet is prepared, come in the spiritual womb of the Virgin, come and sup with Me. I will give you a feast flowing with milk and honey and you will feast with Me. I am the Bridegroom of your soul. 8/21/97

Guiding Light homily series — Reflect on the Word — Cycle B The Word leaves an impression on our souls. In my thoughts and reflections are born a more tangible understanding of these eternal concepts presented in the Gospels and the readings. Anyone can read a sentence, but not anyone can absorb it's true meaning. Truth, in this day and age, is almost a matter of opinion or individual entitlement. We believe that Christ's truth is our Roman Catholic Church. We, as priests, champion it's teachings; we are ambassadors for the Pope and Christ to those faces looking at us. We are the light by which our congregation reads to reflect upon real truth and we do it hand in hand. $10 |
Guiding Light homily series — Steadfast to the Son — Cycle A The sunflower is a great example of how we should be steadfastly guided by light. What a powerful thought that this exceptional plant is not stuck in one pose day in and day out, yet adaptable and magnetized to the sun. We feel the same about our Son. Our heads turns to face Christ as each day presents its challenges to find light. We join together like plants in a field and soak up the Son through the pulpit. We are a warm circle of strength using the wind of our breath to carry our priests' words, Christ's words, to new rich soil. $10 |
Guiding Light — Focusing on the Word — Cycle B At times we may feel that our path to Christ is a bit "out of focus". Like the disciples in the Book of Mark, this ordinary life clouds our vision of Christ's Divinity. We may doubt the practicality or possibility of applying His teachings and example to our modern life. Cycle B's homilies are a "guiding light" to help us realize Jesus' Messianic greatness and His promise of better things to come. $10 |
Guiding Light — Feed My Soul — Cycle C In a world rapidly advancing and encouraging personal gain, we are faced with modern problems. There is a challenge to find time in our busy schedules for Sunday Mass or a family meal. We are able to research, shop, bank and even work without hearing one human voice. It is no wonder that we may often feel disconnected and famished at our week's end. In Fr. Joe's third book of homilies from Cycle C, we are reminded of the charity that Christ intended us to show each other. We have a calling to turn the other cheek and be the Good Samaritan to others. We are rewarded with the Father's kingdom and love when we are not worthy. We are not left alone or hungry. $10 |
