"I am the Resurrection and the Life"

Isaiah 25: 7-9

On this mountain, he has destroyed
the veil which used to veil all peoples,
the pall enveloping all nations;
he has destroyed death for ever.
Lord Yahweh has wiped away the tears
    from every cheek;
he has taken his people’s shame away
    everywhere on earth,
for Yahweh has spoken.

And on that day, it will be said,
‘Look, this is our God,
in him we put our hope
    that he should save us,
this is Yahweh, we put our hope in him.
Let us exult and rejoice
    since he has saved us.’

Revelation 21: 1-7

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; the first heaven and the first earth had disappeared now, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride dressed for her husband. Then I heard a loud voice call from the throne, ‘Look, here God lives among human beings. He will make his home among them; they will be his people, and he will be their God, God–with–them. He will wipe away all tears from their eyes; there will be no more death, and no more mourning or sadness or pain. The world of the past has gone.’

Then the One sitting on the throne spoke. ‘Look, I am making the whole of creation new. Write this, "What I am saying is trustworthy and will come true." Then he said to me, ‘It has already happened. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give water from the well of life free to anybody who is thirsty; anyone who proves victorious will inherit these things; and I will be his God and he will be my son.

November 10, 2003 message continues

Messenger:         Dear God, Impart to us knowledge of Thee —

Our souls are thirsting for Thee —

Oh when will we know Thee so fully.

I am a baby crying in My mother's arms —

Oh God, I thirst for You —

I long for the abundance of Your grace

                                        poured out on me.

                                    I am a little one.

Jesus speaks:       My child, life is a journey, you carry the

seeds. The vine grows, if you feed it

chemicals, that kills plants it dies.

The tender shoots of the grass grow, they are

fed. They soak in the sunlight and drink

the winter rains, the grass lays dormant,

a new season, it comes up again. Some

grass is so brown in the winter it appears

dead and when the spring rains come and

the sunlight from the spring months,

it comes out in such beauty.

One can pour disgusting oils and poisons on the

roots and the grass may not come again in

the spring. Oh the sadness of one who pours

the poison on roots and stops the season

                                of budding growth.

Oh my babies come in the arms of mothers,

little babies at the breast, first they learn

to look at mother and father and talk in

their little baby ways. The child rolls over

and soon can crawl and then walk and then they

can carry on lots of sentences and you say —

                                "oh babies, how they advance".

Satan knows the innocence of babies. Satan

knows the tender little hearts. Satan is ready to

get those places teaching children to hear his

ways. The television, movies, schools — even

before a child is in school they are getting poison

                            from the world.

A little shoot is tender, not too strong, fragile,

a little shoot grows to become stronger, more

                            mature, growing stronger with age.

Look into the eyes of babies. They are open

and ready to be taught. Some person or thing

teaches them. They come helpless, demanding

                            care.

I came a little baby, I am the Son of God.

Some become so brazen, they think they were

never little and need no one over them.

God the Father speaks:

I created the baby in the womb, I am your

God. You have poisoned My little shoots with

your vile juices, they flow on the earth, they

                            make your children sick.

Oh you do not see the ugly serpent poisoning

your children through the media. Where are

the tender hearts to go in a world consumed

with violent shows on television, horror —

                            VIOLENCE.

                                What are the 10 Commandments?

The Ten Commandments

  1.   I, the Lord, am your God. You shall not have other gods besides me.

  2.   You shall not take the name of the Lord, your God, in vain.

  3.   Remember to keep holy the Sabbath day.

  4.   Honor your father and your mother.

  5.   You shall not kill.

  6.   You shall not commit adultery.

  7.   You shall not steal.

  8.   You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.

  9.   You shall not covet your neighbor's wife.

  10.   You shall not covet anything that belongs to your neighbor.

God the Father speaks:

Why would I give you 10 Commandments

so men can make movies for children and

for all to see that disobey the commandments.

Your televisions act like beasts in the home

raping the mind of the young who have not

yet found their way. And those older who watch

the TV and Video and DVD's that are evil

getting harder and further from the truth.

I am a God of justice.

God the Father speaks:

I do want you to obey Me.

Sing Song: Come with Me into the Fields

A man went out to sow seed.

Will he sow the seed on fertile ground and

                                watch it grow.

Excerpt of The Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius, by Louis J. Puhl, S.J.

136. THE FOURTH DAY

        A MEDITATION ON TWO STANDARDS

The one of Christ, our supreme leader and lord,
the other of Lucifer, the deadly enemy of our
human nature

PRAYER.   The usual preparatory prayer.

window at a former Jesuit Seminary

137. FIRST PRELUDE.   This is the history. Here it will be that Christ calls and wants all beneath His standard, and Lucifer, on the other hand, wants all under his.

138. SECOND PRELUDE.   This is a mental representation of the place. It will be here to see a great plain, comprising the whole region about Jerusalem, where the sovereign Commander-in-Chief of all the good is Christ our Lord; and another plain about the region of Babylon, where the chief of the enemy is Lucifer.

139. THIRD PRELUDE.   This is to ask for what I desire. Here it will be to ask for a knowledge of the deceits of the rebel chief and help to guard myself against them; and also to ask for a knowledge of the true life exemplified in the sovereign and true Commander, and the grace to imitate Him.

FIRST PART

THE STANDARD OF SATAN

140. FIRST POINT.   Imagine you see the chief of all the enemy in the vast plain about Babylon, seated on a great throne of fire and smoke, his appearance inspiring horror and terror.

141. SECOND POINT.   Consider how he summons innumerable demons, and scatters them, some to one city and some to another, throughout the whole world, so that no province, no place, no state of life, no individual is overlooked.

142. THIRD POINT.   Consider the address he makes to them, how he goads them on to lay snares for men and bind them with chains. First they are to tempt them to covet riches (as Satan himself is accustomed to do in most cases) that they may the more easily attain the empty honors of this world, and then come to overweening pride.

The first step, then, will be riches, the second honor, the third pride. From these three steps the evil one leads to all other vices.

SECOND PART

THE STANDARD OF CHRIST

143.   In a similar way, we are to picture to ourselves the sovereign and true Commander, Christ our Lord.

144. FIRST POINT.   Consider Christ our Lord, standing in a lowly place in a great plain about the region of Jerusalem, His appearance beautiful and attractive.

145. SECOND POINT.   Consider how the Lord of all the world chooses so many persons, apostles, disciples, etc., and sends them throughout the whole world to spread His sacred doctrine among all men, no matter what their state or condition.

146. THIRD POINT.   . . .

God the Father speaks:

A baby is born, a grandma dies.

What did she do in her life.

How did she try to instruct the children.

What model did she give them to follow.

Children look like their parents, some

learn at an early age to act like their

                                parents.

                                Some parents are holy,

Some parents give a bad example to their

                                    children.

Some children hear violence in the womb

                                    from parents, television and movies.

Now do you want the Reign of the Sacred Heart,

a Reign of love, of tenderness, of truth.

Come to the Eucharist and I will teach you.

Come to My Heart and I will refresh you.

Come and pray with Me awhile.

Jesus speaks:          Adoration will be November 10 - 14.

Be peaceful, be loving, be as I want

                                you to be.

I am the Light of the World.

The light shines in the darkness.

The more you come with an open loving

heart to the Eucharist, the more you

                                will know Me.

                            Some do not see —

John 9: 1-41

As he went along, he saw a man who had been blind from birth. His disciples asked him, ‘Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he should have been born blind?’ ‘Neither he nor his parents sinned,’ Jesus answered, ‘he was born blind so that the works of God might be revealed in him.

'As long as day lasts
we must carry out the work of the one
  who sent me;
the night will soon be here
   when no one can work.
As long as I am in the world
I am the light of the world.’

Having said this, he spat on the ground, made a paste with the spittle, put this over the eyes of the blind man, and said to him, ‘Go and wash in the Pool of Siloam’ (the name means ‘one who has been sent’). So he went off and washed and came back able to see.

His neighbours and the people who used to see him before (for he was a beggar) said, ‘Isn’t this the man who used to sit and beg?’ Some said, ‘Yes, it is the same one.' Others said, 'No, but he looks just like him.’ The man himself said, ‘Yes, I am the one.’ So they said to him, ‘Then how is it that your eyes were opened?' He answered, ‘The man called Jesus made a paste, daubed my eyes with it and said to me, "Go off and wash at Siloam"; so I went, and when I washed I gained my sight.’ They asked, ‘Where is he?’ He answered, ‘I don’t know.’

They brought to the Pharisees the man who had been blind. It had been a Sabbath day when Jesus made the paste and opened the man’s eyes, so when the Pharisees asked him how he had gained his sight, he said, ‘He put a paste on my eyes, and I washed, and I can see.' Then some of the Pharisees said, ‘That man cannot be from God: he does not keep the Sabbath.’ Others said, ‘How can a sinner produce signs like this?' And there was division among them. So they spoke to the blind man again, 'What have you to say about him yourself, now that he has opened your eyes?’ The man answered, ‘He is a prophet.’

However, the Jews would not believe that the man had been blind without first sending for the parents of the man who had gained his sight and asking them, ‘Is this man really the son of yours who you say was born blind? If so, how is it that he is now able to see?’ His parents answered, ‘We know he is our son and we know he was born blind, but how he can see, we don’t know, nor who opened his eyes. Ask him. He is old enough: let him speak for himself.’ His parents spoke like this out of fear of the Jews, who had already agreed to ban from the synagogue anyone who should acknowledge Jesus as the Christ. This was why his parents said, ‘He is old enough; ask him.'

So the Jews sent for the man again and said to him, ‘Give glory to God! We are satisfied that this man is a sinner.’ The man answered, ‘Whether he is a sinner I don’t know; all I know is that I was blind and now I can see.’ They said to him, ‘What did he do to you? How did he open your eyes?’ He replied, ‘I have told you once and you wouldn’t listen. Why do you want to hear it all again? Do you want to become his disciples yourselves?’ At this they hurled abuse at him, ‘It is you who are his disciple, we are disciples of Moses; we know that God spoke to Moses, but as for this man, we don’t know where he comes from.’ The man replied, ‘That is just what is so amazing! You don’t know where he comes from and he has opened my eyes! We know that God doesn’t listen to sinners, but God does listen to people who are devout and do his will. Ever since the world began it is unheard of for anyone to open the eyes of someone born blind; if this man were not from God, he wouldn’t have been able to do anything.’ They retorted, ‘Are you trying to teach us, and you a sinner through and through ever since you were born!' And they ejected him.

Jesus heard they had ejected him, and when he found him he said to him, ‘Do you believe in the Son of man?’ ‘Sir,’ the man replied, ‘tell me who he is so that I may believe in him.’ Jesus said, ‘You have seen him; he is speaking to you.’ The man said, ‘Lord, I believe,’ and worshipped him.

                    Jesus said:

It is for judgement
that I have come into this world,
so that those without sight may see
and those with sight may become blind.

Hearing this, some Pharisees who were present said to him, ‘So we are blind, are we?’ Jesus replied:

If you were blind,
you would not be guilty,
but since you say, ‘We can see,’
your guilt remains.

Jesus speaks:      Those who follow Me will have the Light of Life.

I outpour My grace to you when you come

to Me in the Blessed Sacrament, when

you receive Me and sit before Me before

                                the tabernacle.

                            Walk in the light.

                            You have a free will.

Pray to the Holy Spirit to fill you so that you

                                will see more clearly.

I impart to you a wider vision.

I give to you My life, that you will follow Me.

Look at your movies and television — are they

teaching you to model your lives like

Me? Do these radios and televisions and

movies act like I would act, like

                                I want them to act?

So many are walking in darkness and they cannot

find the way. You must act as I want

you to act, to be an example and not

act in the wayward ways of the world.

Ask yourself, would Jesus like the way this

                                movie etc is portraying life?

                                Life is in Me.

You can go down the wrong road.

Lord

make me an instrument
of your peace.
Where there is hatred
let me sow love
Where there is injury/pardon
where there is doubt/faith
where there is despair/hope
where there is darkeness/light
and where there is sadness/joy.

O Divine Master
grant that I may not so much
seek to be consoled as to console
to be understood as to understand
to be loved as to love.

For it is in giving
that we receive
it is in pardoning
that we are pardoned
and it it is in dying
that we are born to eternal life.
