Written January 14, 2000
Jesus has led me gently and gradually into closer union with Him through
Shepherds of Christ. From the Prayer for Union that I found in church, to the
first time I read a Blue Book, to my first 13th meeting, to starting a prayer
chapter in my parish, He has patiently led me into doing things I didn’t know I
could do.
I have loved Shepherds of Christ from the beginning because I have experienced
Jesus' guidance in a special way.
And here I am, a Handmaid of the Good Shepherd, being a spouse of Jesus, loving
and serving Him here in China, Indiana. For many years, I wanted to work for
Jesus in the Church, but didn’t know how.
The daily Mass and holy hour were a part of my life before I knew about
Shepherds of Christ or the Blue Books. Reading the Blue Book for the first time
confirmed what I was already doing and gave me the direction on how to spend
that hour with Jesus before the tabernacle.
During the last few years of my working days, I looked forward to the time off
so I could spend it with Jesus before the tabernacle. I purposely did my
housework during the weeknights so I could have Saturday totally free to spend
with Him before the tabernacle.
So, to be here in China, where I can focus totally on Jesus, loving and adoring
Him in the Eucharist, and helping to send out His newsletters and filling the
orders, is a dream come true for me.
Being a handmaid has been a joy and a challenge. A joy to know this is God’s
will for me and a challenge to change myself and to let go of the things I am
attached to.
I am now sitting before Jesus, in the exposed Blessed Sacrament, and I am
thankful to Him that He has fulfilled my heartfelt wish to be able to love and
serve Him 24 hours a day and to adore Him in the Eucharist.
I am also grateful to Jesus for letting me work with the most selfless people
who are in Shepherds of Christ. They are always willing to help me out when I
need them and go the extra mile to make things easier for me. It is a blessing
to be in this family called Shepherds of Christ.
I am also thankful for my friends back home who have been a great support to me,
who have prayed for me and helped me to move to China.
On the 13ths, when everyone is gathered for the rosary here in China, I look at
the people and I feel a connection in my heart to all of them, to my friends
from Jasper and my Shepherds of Christ family and I thank Jesus for loving me
through these beautiful people.
And I thank Jesus for leading me to the Shepherds of Christ and for teaching me
so many things, especially how to be a better spouse of the Lamb. It is my
heartfelt desire to be united with Him forever and He is continuing to lead me
there a step at a time. I love Him with all my heart and I love the Shepherds of
Christ Movement.

Footprints on a book.
When we are weak, we are strong in Him.
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, I trust in Thee.
R. We can do a lot for others, when our hearts
are filled with love and other focused.
When we get caught up in ourselves we are
like a boat with an anchor - we don’t go
anywhere.
When we are weak, we are strong in Him.
He gives the exact wind needed for our sails.

Immaculate Heart.
Prayer for Grace for Election and our Country
Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of

Come to Me in Your Pain
Jesus:
Do not go only to man, most
especially
come to Me. I am the only One Who can completely minister to you when your heart is broken. The worst pains are the pains of the
heart. Stay plugged into My source. Know I am here with you every minute, every second of your life, and I will be there always.
Come unto Me all who are weary and I will comfort you. Do not be afraid for I will gently show you the way of the Lord.
I will be your rock. I will be your fortress. I will not leave you ever. I am there. My Heart is an undying source of fire and warmth and power.
I am your power. I am your strength. I am your God. I am there every instant of your life.
R.
I can never live the moments
of this day
again. When I go to bed, today is gone forever. I must choose to treasure each moment because it is the only moment I have and it only lasts one moment.
January 17, 1992
R.
Dear Jesus,
I want to be close to You and feel Your
presence in my heart. I ask You to open
my heart to the fire of Your love and know
Your promptings at this moment in my
life. You are my God and I am Your child and
my way in life is useless without Your
direction. My life would be so full of fear
without having the relationship that You
have given me with You. The devil tempts me
to think I am unworthy. Most Sacred Heart of
Jesus I put my trust in Thee.
No matter what day and what minute it is, You
will always be there because You do not
slumber or sleep.
Jesus:
I am your rock, I am your
strength,
I am your Savior. I am the only one who can
minister to you when your heart is broken.
I know your pain and your distrust and your
hurt and your numbness and fear not to trust
again. I have been offended so many times
by so many. The worst is pains of the heart.
Stay plugged into My source, know I am here
with you every minute, every second,
of your life, and I will be there ALWAYS –
I died on the cross for you.
Come to Me all who are weary and I will
comfort you. Place your yoke upon My
shoulder and do not be afraid for I will
gently show you the way of the Lord.
I will be your rock, I will be your fortress, I
will not leave you, I am there.
Pray for your friends – many are
suffering and will not open their hearts to Me
or you or anybody. Many say “yes”
to satan and “no” to Me. Pray hard for
them, go to daily Mass and Communion and
pray for them.
I have all the power.
All power comes from Me –
My heart is an undying source
of fire and warmth –
I have all the power.
I am your power –
I am your strength –
I am your God –
I am there with you now
I will always be ready to help you
if you turn to Me.

God Bless America
R. God created us to know love and serve God.
Jesus showed us how He served.
Jesus gave Himself to His death on the cross
for our sins.
Jesus showed us service!
Jesus is the suffering servant.
God
created us social creatures.
God created us to love and help each other.
A man can dedicate himself to independence,
to try to prove he is on top in control.
Instead of acting to do God’s Plan, the man’s
Plan can be independence, dominance for
dominance sake.
Where does this end if he refuses to even try
to change, if a man rebels to be on top?
What he has fed himself his whole life is
being on top at all costs.
What will he do as he becomes elderly and
sick if this has been his goal his whole life?
Habits are habits, even when a man is sick
he can try to tie his shoes from habit.
Fighting to be right all the time, or fighting
to be on top is a habit.
No one can help someone who is sick, but
fights to prove they have to do what they
want, because they say they are independent,
when they are not.
God created us in the image and likeness of
Jesus.
Our goal is to be under God, follow His Plan.
God created us to live in love helping each other.
We are here to get to heaven.
Only one thing is important eternal salvation.
God commands us to love Him and others.
We are to love and accept love from others
given us in our relationships in our family and
in relationships.
We need to learn to love and accept love from
others.
The Mass is the sacrifice of Calvary,
sacramentally made present.
Jesus gives Himself as a sacrifice to His Father,
we unite our sacrifice to this and give ourselves
to the Father.
The Father is well pleased and gives us Jesus in
the Holy Eucharist.
Jesus gives us Himself, Body, Blood, Soul and
Divinity in the Holy Eucharist.
In Baptism we receive a sharing in Divine life
and we are fed by the Eucharist.
In love relationships, we learn to give and receive.
God so loved the world He gave His only begotten
Son, Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
Jesus gives us Himself in the Holy Eucharist.
The greatest sacrifice: Jesus gave Himself.

My greetings to Prisca

fellow-workers in
Christ Jesus,
who risked their own
necks to save my life;
to them, thanks not only
from me, but from all
the churches among the
gentiles; and my
greetings to the church
at their house.
Greetings to my dear
friend Epaenetus, the
first of Asia's
offerings to
Christ. Greetings to
Mary, who worked so hard
for you. Greetings to
those outstanding
apostles, Andronicus and

were in
Christ before
me. Greetings to

Greetings to Urban, my

Greet each other with the holy kiss. All the
churches of
Christ send their
greetings.
I,
Tertius, who am writing
this letter, greet you
in the Lord. Greetings
to you from Gaius, my
host here,
and
host of the
whole church. Erastus,
the city treasurer,
sends greetings to you,
and our brother Quartus.
And now to him
who can make you strong
in accordance with the gospel that I preach
and the proclamation of Jesus Christ,
in accordance with that mystery
which for endless ages was kept secret
but now (as the prophets wrote)
is revealed,
as the eternal God commanded,
to be made known to all the nations,
so that they obey in faith:
to him, the only wise God,
give glory through Jesus Christ
for ever and ever. Amen.
Psalm 145: 2-5, 10-11
Bet Day after day I
shall bless you,
I shall praise your name for ever and ever.
Gimel Great is Yahweh and worthy of all praise,
his greatness beyond all reckoning.
Dalet
Each age will praise your deeds to the next,
proclaiming your mighty works.
He
Your renown is the splendour of your glory,
I
will ponder the story of your wonders.
Yod All your creatures
shall thank you, Yahweh,
and your faithful shall bless you.
Kaph They shall speak of the glory
of your kingship
and tell of your might,
Lamed making known your
mighty deeds to the children of Adam,
the glory and majesty of your kingship.
Mem Your kingship is a kingship
for ever,
your reign lasts from age to age.
2 Corinthians 8: 9
You are well aware of the
generosity which our Lord Jesus Christ had, that, although he was
rich, he became poor for your sake, so that you should become rich
through his poverty.
Luke 16: 9-15
‘And so I tell you this:
use money, tainted as it is, to win you friends, and thus make sure
that when it fails you, they will welcome you into eternal
dwellings. Anyone who is trustworthy in little things is trustworthy
in great; anyone who is dishonest in little things is dishonest in
great. If then you are not trustworthy with money, that tainted
thing, who will trust you with genuine riches? And if you are not
trustworthy with what is not yours, who will give you what is your
very own?
‘No servant can be
the slave of two masters: he will either hate the first and love the
second, or be attached to the first and despise the second. You
cannot be the slave both of God and of money.’
The Pharisees, who loved
money, heard all this and jeered at him. He said to them, ‘You are
the very ones who pass yourselves off as upright in people’s sight,
but God knows your hearts. For what is highly esteemed in human eyes
is loathsome in the sight of God.
R. God reveals to us in the Mass revealing
the mystery of the redemption and salvation –
God feeds us with Himself in the Eucharist –
We see how Paul worked with so many
and how they were faithful to him as
their leader. We see the Church was built
as men served God in holiness and
faithful in unity to those over them like
St. Paul –
Jesus talked about money and trust in the
Gospel – How can you have a man running
the money that is not trustworthy – using
it for pride and control –
The life of the Church depends on
the Pascal Mystery of death / resurrection –
Men must be dying to the evil ways they
practice to live a new life in Christ in
order for the Church to grow –
Wisdom 1: 1-7
Love uprightness
you who are rulers on earth,
be properly disposed towards the
Lord
and seek him in simplicity of heart;
for he
will be
found by those who do not put him to the
test,
revealing himself to those who do not
mistrust him.
Perverse thoughts, however, separate people
from God,
and power, when put to the test, confounds
the stupid.
Wisdom
will never
enter the
soul of a
wrong-doer,
nor dwell in a body enslaved to sin;
for the
holy spirit
of instruction flees deceitfulness,
recoils from unintelligent thoughts,
is thwarted by the onset of vice.
Wisdom is a
spirit
friendly to humanity,
though she
will not
let a blasphemer's words go unpunished;
since
God
observes the very
soul
and accurately surveys the heart,
listening to every word.
For the spirit of the Lord fills the world,
and that which holds everything together
knows every word said.
R. God's Plan is for us to love –
1 John 4: 19-21
Let us love, then,
because he first loved us.
Anyone who says ‘I love God’
and hates his brother,
is a liar,
since whoever does not love the brother
whom he can see
cannot love God whom he has not seen.
Indeed this is the commandment
we have received from him,
that whoever loves God,
must also love his brother.
R. We are here to help build the Kingdom of God –
God loves us so much –
He created us in love –
He called us to help establish
His Kingdom –
To live in unity with others –
The Church is the Body of Christ –
The Church has many members –
God is Supreme
God is the Creator –
We are the creatures –
God intended us to establish unity
where people are one –
working together –
loving together –
sharing together –
R. Jesus came our Savior.
Song: A Song from Jesus

God calls us to a vocation –
He is the one calling
We don't write the rules.

R. Jesus came to bring us this gift!
Jesus worked miracles –
Jesus shows us His supernatural
power
Jesus shows us His healing
power –
Jesus gives us the Church
Jesus gives us the Sacraments.
2 Corinthians 6: 1
As his fellow-workers, we urge you not
to let your
acceptance of his
grace come to nothing.
Jeremiah 31: 34
There will be no further
need for everyone to teach neighbour or brother, saying, "Learn to
know Yahweh!" No, they will all know me, from the least to the
greatest, Yahweh declares, since I shall forgive their guilt and
never more call their sin to mind.’
R. God gives us a free will –
to choose to obey Him or
to be willful and reject Him.
Sin offends God!!
We have this gift of a free will –
It is a gift given to us by God.
God has given us dignity and
honor.

Soul of Christ, sanctify me
Body of Christ, save me
Blood of Christ, inebriate me
Water from the side of Christ wash me
Passion of Christ, strengthen me
O good Jesus, hear me
Within Thy wounds hide me
Permit me not to be separated from Thee
From the wicked foe defend me
at the hour of my death call me
and bid me come to Thee
That with Thy saints I may praise Thee
For ever and ever. Amen.
Prayer from

Lord,
teach me to be generous.
Teach me to serve you as you deserve;
To give and not to count the cost;
To fight and not to heed
the wounds;
To toil and not to seek for rest;
To labor and not to ask
for any reward,
Save that of knowing
that I am doing your will.

136. THE FOURTH DAY
A MEDITATION ON TWO STANDARDS
The one of Christ, our supreme leader
and lord,
the other of Lucifer, the deadly enemy of our
human nature
PRAYER. The usual preparatory prayer.
|
window at a former Jesuit
Seminary |
137. FIRST PRELUDE. This is the
history. Here it will be that Christ calls and wants all beneath His standard,
and Lucifer, on the other hand, wants all under his.
138. SECOND PRELUDE. This is a
mental representation of the place. It will be here to see a great plain,
comprising the whole region about Jerusalem, where the sovereign
Commander-in-Chief of all the good is Christ our Lord; and another plain about
the region of Babylon, where the chief of the enemy is Lucifer.
139. THIRD PRELUDE. This is to
ask for what I desire. Here it will be to ask for a knowledge of the deceits
of the rebel chief and help to guard myself against them; and also to ask for
a knowledge of the true life exemplified in the sovereign and true Commander,
and the grace to imitate Him.
FIRST PART
THE STANDARD OF SATAN
140. FIRST POINT. Imagine you
see the chief of all the enemy in the vast plain about Babylon, seated on a
great throne of fire and smoke, his appearance inspiring horror and terror.
141. SECOND POINT. Consider how
he summons innumerable demons, and scatters them, some to one city and some to
another, throughout the whole world, so that no province, no place, no state
of life, no individual is overlooked.
142. THIRD POINT. Consider the
address he makes to them, how he goads them on to lay snares for men and bind
them with chains. First they are to tempt them to covet riches (as Satan
himself is accustomed to do in most cases) that they may the more easily
attain the empty honors of this world, and then come to overweening pride.
The first step, then, will be
riches, the second honor, the third pride. From these three steps the evil one
leads to all other vices.
SECOND PART
THE STANDARD OF CHRIST
143. In a similar way, we are to
picture to ourselves the sovereign and true Commander, Christ our Lord.
144. FIRST POINT. Consider
Christ our Lord, standing in a lowly place in a great plain about the region
of Jerusalem, His appearance beautiful and attractive.
145. SECOND POINT. Consider how
the Lord of all the world chooses so many persons, apostles, disciples, etc.,
and sends them throughout the whole world to spread His sacred doctrine among
all men, no matter what their state or condition.
146. THIRD POINT. . . .

Prayer for Union
with Jesus
Come to me, Lord, and possess my
soul. Come into my heart and permeate my soul. Help me to sit in silence
with You and let You work in my heart.
I am Yours to possess. I am Yours to
use. I want to be selfless and only exist in You. Help me to spoon out all
that is me and be an empty vessel ready to be filled by You. Help me to
die to myself and live only for You. Use me as You will. Let me never draw
my attention back to myself. I only want to operate as You do, dwelling
within me.
I am Yours, Lord. I want to have my
life in You. I want to do the will of the Father. Give me the strength to
put aside the world and let You operate my very being. Help me to act as
You desire. Strengthen me against the distractions of the devil to take me
from Your work.
When I worry, I have taken my focus
off of You and placed it on myself. Help me not to give in to the
promptings of others to change what in my heart You are making very clear
to me. I worship You, I adore You and I love You. Come and dwell in me
now.

I believe in God, the Father
Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son,
our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He
descended into hell; on the third day he arose again from the dead; he
ascended into heaven; and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty;
from there he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in
the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of Saints, the
forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting.

Say the Morning Offering
Morning Offering
My dear Father, I offer You this day all my prayers, works, joys and
sufferings, my every breath, my every heartbeat, my every thought, all my actions, in
union with Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, in the Holy
Spirit. I pray the Holy Spirit is with me every second today, enlightening me to do the
Will of the Father and filling me with the fire of God's love.
I ask Jesus and Mary to be one in me in all that I do and I unite with
all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory to pray continually to the Father for
these intercessions, in this prayer, for this day.
For myself, I pray for grace-abundant grace, to know and love God more
and more and to follow the Will of the Father. I pray to the Holy Spirit to transform me
in the heart of Mary to be more and more like Jesus. I pray that I can forever dwell in
the Hearts of Jesus and Mary. I pray for conversion of all those I hold dear who need
conversion. I pray for each member of my family that they will be filled with Your
abundant grace to grow in their knowledge and love of God.
I pray for all my friends that they will receive abundant grace to carry
out the great plan of the Father, that they will grow forever closer to Jesus' Heart
through Mary's heart, that we will all be led by the Holy Spirit to do His work, that we
will, together, carry out the plan of the Father as He intends us to, to spread the love
of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Mary's heart to this world.
Jesus, I pray for myself so the Holy Spirit descends upon me and opens
my heart to Your love so I will grow more and more deeply in union with You. I pray that I
do not worry what other people think but try always to please the Father and do His Will.
I pray that I may help lead many to Your burning love.
I pray for the following people in particular that they will be filled
with the Spirit and grow deeply in their union with You, that they will receive abundant
graces to know, love and serve You more. (Include special friends by name...)
I pray for priests the world over, for the success of the Priestly
Newsletter, the Chapters and for the finances needed for the Newsletter. I pray for the
circulation of the Blue Book messages, rosary meditations and tapes. I pray for all those
involved in the publication of these messages.
I pray that You will shower Your abundant graces onto the priests
reading the Newsletter the people reading and hearing the Blue Book messages and rosary
meditations and all of Fr. Carter's publications.
We pray for the intentions we hold deep within our hearts, for our
families and friends, for those requesting our prayers. We pray for children the world
over and for the souls in purgatory. We ask God to shower His abundant grace on us and the
members of our Shepherds of Christ Chapter so that we may grow more and more in our
knowledge and love of God.
We consecrate ourselves to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary. We pray for
Father Carter, for Father Smith, for Rita Ring, and for John Weickert, for all leaders and
helpers in the Shepherds of Christ Movement, for Shepherds of Christ Ministries, and Our
Lady of Light Ministry. We pray for all those who are working in these ministries.
We bind ourselves and our children and our friends to the Immaculate
Heart of Mary. We place the precious blood of Jesus on ourselves, and all we touch, so
that we will be protected from the evil one. We pray to St. Michael to cast the devil into
hell.
We love You, God, we love You, we love You. We beg that we may
receive the grace to love You more and more deeply. We adore You, we
praise You, our beloved Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
May 16, 1998 - Prayer to
the Father
My Father,
With my whole heart I desire
to consecrate the whole world to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the
Immaculate Heart of Mary. I wish with my whole being for the
salvation of souls and that man live according to Thy Holy Will. I
pray my Father that we may be one in You and Your Son Jesus and the
Holy Spirit that we may intercede to You for this cause.
It is this burning desire
within my soul to spread the consecration to the far ends of the
earth, that the cries of Your children are cries of glory and honor
and adoration, praising God as their God.
My Father, at this moment a
soul hangs on the edge of death. For all eternity they will go to a
place. It is not the plot of this soul as it trods this barren land
to decide on the edge of death. You created us that we would grow in
our oneness with God, that we would mature more and more in our
image and likeness to God.
And so My Father, I pray with
every cell in my body for this earth. In the name of Your Son Jesus
I consecrate all the souls of this earth to the Sacred Heart and the
Immaculate Heart of Mary in the Holy Spirit in union with the Holy
sacrifice of the Mass with all the angels and saints and the souls
in Purgatory.
I beg You Father for mercy.
I beg You Father for assistance.
I beg You Father to help us to spread this consecration to
the far ends of the earth.
Please help us. We are
helpless little ones coming in the heart of our Mother, bleeding
from our wounds and our sins.
Your Son, Jesus Christ, shed
the last drop of His Blood for the salvation of mankind. We wish to
unite in this sacrifice, sacramentally made present in the Mass all
over the world at every moment. Help us to make reparation to You
for the sins of men.
Please my Father, help us.
Held in the heart of Mary and the Heart of Jesus we come as the
children of Eve to beg for the Reign of the Sacred Heart and the
Triumph of Mary's heart. Look upon our love, Your shepherds in the
Shepherds of Christ, our sacrifices and devotion to You Our Beloved
Father. Come by the means of the Holy Spirit and sanctify us and
make us whole, that we are one in Your Son Jesus, praying to You,
Father, in the name of Your Son Jesus in the Holy Spirit united with
all the angels and saints, in the heart of Mary. We beg for help for
special intentions concerning the Movement. We beg for help to reach
the Churches to give these prayers of Jesus to them, to reach the
schools and the family. Help we cry as poor banished children of
Eve. Help us Father to do this work the Good Shepherd has entrusted
to us. Help us to be one in You that we act as intercessors to help
this world to be turned to God as their God, loving, honoring and
adoring Him as the Lord of Host is truly present on His throne.
We are Your children Father,
we implore You to answer our prayer.
We love You, we worship You, we adore You, we thank you and
we sing from the bottom of our hearts, Holy God we Praise Your Name.
Alleluia

Matthew 22: 36-40
'Master, which is the greatest
commandment of the Law?' Jesus said to him, 'You must love
the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul,
and with all your mind. This is the greatest and the first
commandment. The second resembles it: You must love your
neighbour as yourself. On these two commandments hang the
whole Law, and the Prophets too.'
Dear Holy Spirit,
strengthen our will and
move like a Divine breath in our soul, to
be docile sons and daughters of our
Heavenly Father. Amen.
Alleluia.

Glorious Mysteries
The Resurrection
1.
Luke 24: 1-12
On the first day of the week, at the first sign of dawn, they went
to the tomb with the spices they had prepared. They found
that the stone had been rolled away from the tomb, but on entering
they could not find the body of the Lord Jesus. As they stood there
puzzled about this, two men in brilliant clothes suddenly appeared
at their side. Terrified, the women bowed their heads to the ground.
But the two said to them, ‘Why look among the dead for someone who
is alive? He is not here; he has risen. Remember what he told you
when he was still in Galilee: that the Son of man was destined to be
handed over into the power of sinful men and be crucified, and rise
again on the third day.’ And they remembered his words.
And they returned from the tomb and told all this to the Eleven and
to all the others. The women were Mary of Magdala, Joanna, and Mary
the mother of James. And the other women with them also told the
apostles, but this story of theirs seemed pure nonsense, and they
did not believe them.
Peter, however, went off to the tomb, running. He bent down and
looked in and saw the linen cloths but nothing else; he then went
back home, amazed at what had happened.
2. Jesus came forth from
the tomb as He foretold.
3. Follow the Father’s Plan.
4. Nothing is impossible with God.
5. Jesus came forth from the tomb, His body was
glorified.
6. Jesus came forth from the tomb His wounds
were glorified.
7. Through His pierced side the Church was born.
8. What came forth from His side was Blood and
water. Blood for the Eucharist and water for
Baptism.
9. Jesus: I am the way, the truth and the life.
10. Life is in Him.
The Ascension
1. Acts 1: 6-9
Now having met together, they asked him, 'Lord, has the time come for you to restore the
kingdom to Israel?' He replied, 'It is not for you to know times or dates that the Father
has decided by his own authority, but you will receive the power of the Holy Spirit which
will come on you, and then you will be my witnesses not only in Jerusalem but throughout
Judaea and Samaria, and indeed to earth's remotest end.'
As he said this he was lifted up while they looked on, and a cloud took him from their
sight.
2. The Church,
the world, the individual
Christian is in the state of becoming like
Jesus.
3. Christ went to prepare a place for us.
4. Even though we are saddened by the
world’s evil, we are so much happier
because of its goodness.
5. This is where we are now, in the Father’s
Plan.
6. We are here preparing for our eternal life.
7. God intends us to work for the building
of the Kingdom of God while we are
here on earth.
8. Oh God, I love You so much.
9. The Lord is my Shepherd.

The Descent of the Holy
Spirit on the Apostles and the Virgin Mary
1. Acts 2: 1-4
When Pentecost day came round,
they had all met together, when suddenly there came from heaven a
sound as of a violent wind which filled the entire house in which
they were sitting; and there appeared to them tongues as of fire;
these separated and came to rest on the head of each of them. They
were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak different
languages as the Spirit gave them power to express themselves.
2. Dear Holy Spirit come and
work in my heart.
3. Dear Holy Spirit infuse in my intellect
understanding, knowledge, and wisdom.
4. Dear Holy Spirit please give me the gift of
counsel to know what to do, what not to do.

Act of consecration
to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
and
the Immaculate Heart of Mary
Lord Jesus, Chief
Shepherd of the flock, I consecrate myself to Your most Sacred
Heart. From Your pierced Heart the Church was born, the Church You
have called me, as a member of Shepherds of Christ Associates, to serve in a most special way. You reveal Your
Heart as a symbol of Your love in all its aspects, including Your
most special love for me, whom You have chosen as Your companion in
this most important work. Help me to always love You in return. Help
me to give myself entirely to You. Help me always to pour out my
life in love of God and neighbor! Heart of Jesus, I place my trust
in You!
Dear Blessed Virgin
Mary, I consecrate myself to your maternal and Immaculate Heart,
this Heart which is symbol of your life of love. You are the Mother
of my Savior. You are also my Mother. You love me with a most
special love as a member of Shepherds of Christ Associates,
a movement created by your Son as a powerful instrument for the
renewal of the Church and the world. In a return of love, I give
myself entirely to your motherly love and protection. You followed
Jesus perfectly. You are His first and perfect disciple. Teach me to
imitate you in the putting on of Christ. Be my motherly intercessor
so that, through your Immaculate Heart, I may be guided to an ever
closer union with the pierced Heart of Jesus, Chief Shepherd of the
flock.
