Prayer for Grace for our Country

Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our president and leaders. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.

Jesus: Everyday is a gift from Me.

Everyday is a day to celebrate life, to love,
to give, to work together.

What would you do if it was the last day of your life?

I give you through all the people in your lives.

You can’t take anyone for granted, one is more important, others are to not be recognized.

I have chosen each by name.

I am the Sacred Heart, My Heart is burning in love for all My precious ones.

Life is so short - you have so many days to live, to touch others, to prepare for eternal happiness in heaven, no one will come back when they are gone.

Love is doing God’s will, Love is what is important.

I am Jesus.

Psalm 118: 24

This is the day which Yahweh has made,
a day for us to rejoice and be glad.

Sing: Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Jesus: Life is not life if it is not rooted in Me.

Sing love songs I gave you to Me.

Song: Give me your Heart, oh Jesus

Jesus: Christmas is about love.

My Law is a Law of Love.
Unless you surrender to God, the source of love, how can you love.

Heaven is for lovers.

Song: God’s Love

Song: A Song from Jesus

R. An attitude of Gratitude.

Pray together and know God is with us, we feel His power and His grace.

Negativism can destroy us.
Fruit comes from a well cared and loved garden.
Focus on Jesus!!
God was near to Paul, even in prison.

Lift your voice, your heart, your life up to the Lord. God is all powerful.

R. The world is full of anger and it is stored up. It can be anger from generations past and passed down, then projected and acted out on innocent other.

Anger can be passed on, just like love and kindness can be passed on.

Anger in your heart is poison. A person can act out anger on somebody doing nothing.

We are commanded by God to love Him and love each other.

Anger is a deadly sin. Attitude of anger acted out can blow things out of proportion.

The devil tempts with the deadly sins - pride, anger, jealousy, slothfulness, lust, gluttony, and envy.

An angry attitude can be passed on by men giving into it -
They can be out of control.

Anger acted on others can be very demeaning.

When we sin, we need to be accountable and responsible for how we act.

Anger can be contagious.
Hurt everybody!!!

The anger can get meaner and meaner as it is acted out on innocent others.
Treating people mean and disrespectful, hurts others.

A person with anger, malice of intent, unloading their age-old bitterness on an innocent other, can either repent and say they are sorry,
or they can deny they did anything wrong and in indignation keep it up, hold out and try to tear the place apart.

Kindness and a loving attitude could have changed things for everyone, but the person acting out bitterness can want to take everybody down, then hold out to hurt further.

It is evil!!

Then it can bring that evil to hurt others, one at a time.

But kindness can bring blessings to others,
Can help those hurting.
A loving heart, thinking of others, or a bitter hateful punishing heart with the intent to bring others down.

Others in pain need kindness and love, not satan’s evil acted out on a wounded soul.

God is love.

The devil is hate and punishment.

There are many kind and loving people that live to love and lift people up with loving hearts, living to help others and love.

The devil presses on people, filling themselves in anger.
What kind of good can come from a person with a bitter-hateful heart 24/7, that gets up everyday, nothing to do but hurt people and be prideful and angry.

Love builds, love makes friends, love helps people grow themselves and helps others grow.

Bitter people lose all the chances for friendship, they focus on hate. Hate, day after day, year after year.

God is love.
We were created in the image and likeness of Jesus.

If you knew you were going to die tonight and be judged, would you live differently?

People that live life long anger justify why they are right in their anger and have rights to blame innocent others and rights to punish innocent others for what is inside of them.

Fr. Joe said people who are angry and hold out in anger, not working things out, were usually abused physically, emotionally, or sexually and they need healing, but can refuse to do anything but keep acting it out in sin.

Anger he said is a deadly sin, so they give themselves permission to live in sin.
Fr. Carter said to be unloving is sin.

Then further, they blame others for their bitter, sinful hearts and then some punish and abuse innocent others which is sinful to abuse and punish other innocent persons created by God for their evil.

Fr. Mike says: abusers can keep abusing others and they are responsible and accountable for their sins.

Another priest said, hell is full of people whose goal in life was being right.
Mary says it folly when they disobey the commandments of God, and try to prove wrong is right and right is wrong.

It’s all demonic.

Satan wants to rule.
Satan uses willing others who will not serve God, but are enslaved to Satan.

Mary: What is right is right
And what is wrong is wrong.

To use the Lord’s day to try to provoke others in anger, to not do what they are called by God to do is Gaul.

It’s Gaul from Satan who wants to show God the defiant souls parading before Him on the Lord’s day in defiance.

It’s far worse when a religious uses Sundays, prayer days to take down the house.

Eve rebelled against God in the Garden.

Jesus: I appeared in Clearwater.

Jesus: I gave you China.

Mary: I am Our Lady of Clearwater.

My head was destroyed March 1, 2004  27 years ago.

Mary: Faith is believing!!!

Jesus: I died for your sins.

They kept beating Me relentlessly.

Mary: To those who don’t believe - nothing is enough!!

Ephiphany

Mary: I watched Him die.

Joyful Mysteries

The Annunciation

1. The Angel Gabriel appeared to Mary and asked her to
    be the Mother of God.

2. Hebrews 10: 5, 7

and that is why he said, on coming into the world: You wanted no sacrifice or cereal offering, but you gave me a body.

3. And the Word was made flesh.

4. Mary was conceived sinless.

5. Hebrews 10: 4-10

Bulls' blood and goats' blood are incapable of taking away sins, and that is why he said, on coming into the world: You wanted no sacrifice or cereal offering, but you gave me a body. You took no pleasure in burnt offering or sacrifice for sin; then I said, 'Here I am, I am coming,' in the scroll of the book it is written of me, to do your will, God. He says first You did not want what the Law lays down as the things to be offered, that is: the sacrifices, the cereal offerings, the burnt offerings and the sacrifices for sin, and you took no pleasure in them; and then he says: Here I am! I am coming to do your will. He is abolishing the first sort to establish the second. And this will was for us to be made holy by the offering of the body of Jesus Christ made once and for all.

6. Let us celebrate this Feast today.

7. Let us Rejoice in God our Savior.

8. God is all-powerful – we thank
You God for giving us Your Son.

9. Isaiah 7: 14

The Lord will give you a sign in any case: It is this: the young woman is with child and will give birth to a son whom she will call Immanuel.

10. Jesus was born of a virgin through the power
    of the Holy Spirit.

The Visitation

1. Luke 1: 39-45

Mary set out at that time and went as quickly as she could into the hill country to a town in Judah. She went into Zechariah’s house and greeted Elizabeth. Now it happened that as soon as Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the child leapt in her womb and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. She gave a loud cry and said, ‘Of all women you are the most blessed, and blessed is the fruit of your womb. Why should I be honoured with a visit from the mother of my Lord? Look, the moment your greeting reached my ears, the child in my womb leapt for joy. Yes, blessed is she who believed that the promise made her by the Lord would be fulfilled.’

2. Luke 1: 46-56

And Mary said:

My soul proclaims
    the greatness of the Lord
and my spirit rejoices
    in God my Saviour;
because he has looked upon
    the humiliation of his servant.
Yes, from now onwards
all generations will call me blessed,
for the Almighty
has done great things for me.
Holy is his name,
and his faithful love extends age after age
    to those who fear him.
He has used the power of his arm,
he has routed the arrogant of heart.
He has pulled down princes
    from their thrones
        and raised high the lowly.
He has filled the starving with good things,
    sent the rich away empty.
He has come to the help
    of Israel his servant,
        mindful of his faithful love
—according to the promise
    he made to our ancestors—
of his mercy to Abraham
and to his descendants for ever.

Mary stayed with her some three months and then went home.

3. Mary went to visit her cousin Elizabeth.

6. Rejoice at the gifts God has given
    us. Rejoice, I say.

7. Today is the day God gives us –
It is precious - and we are
    precious to Him.

8. Song: Live This Day

9. John the Baptist prepared the way for Jesus.

10. Come Holy Spirit, Come help us in our
lives - to live as God
    wills us to.

The Birth of Jesus

1. Luke 2:1-7

Now it happened that at this time Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be made of the whole inhabited world. This census—the first—took place while Quirinius was governor of Syria, and everyone went to be registered, each to his own town. So Joseph set out from the town of Nazareth in Galilee for Judaea, to David’s town called Bethlehem, since he was of David’s House and line, in order to be registered together with Mary, his betrothed, who was with child. Now it happened that, while they were there, the time came for her to have her child, and she gave birth to a son, her first–born. She wrapped him in swaddling clothes and laid him in a manger because there was no room for them in the living–space.

The Presentation

1. Luke 2: 25-35

Now in Jerusalem there was a man named Simeon. He was an upright and devout man; he looked forward to the restoration of Israel and the Holy Spirit rested on him. It had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not see death until he had set eyes on the Christ of the Lord. Prompted by the Spirit he came to the Temple; and when the parents brought in the child Jesus to do for him what the Law required, he took him into his arms and blessed God; and he said:

    Now, Master, you are letting
        your servant go in peace
    as you promised;
for my eyes have seen the salvation
    which you have made ready
        in the sight of the nations;
a light of revelation for the gentiles
and glory for your people Israel.

As the child’s father and mother were wondering at the things that were being said about him, Simeon blessed them and said to Mary his mother, ‘Look, he is destined for the fall and for the rise of many in Israel, destined to be a sign that is opposed—and a sword will pierce your soul too — so that the secret thoughts of many may be laid bare.'

2. Sing: Little Baby Hands and Feet

3. The Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary - February 22, 1995

1. The Prophecy of Simeon
Mary, Joseph and the child Jesus went to the temple. Simeon, the prophet, inspired by the Holy Spirit, met them and told Joseph and Mary of the great sufferings of Jesus and Mary. He told Mary that a sword would pierce her heart. From that point on, Mary ever remembered the prophecy of Simeon whenever she beheld her child. When she looked at His little body, even as an infant, she knew He would suffer. Every time she clothed Him and watched Him at play, her heart was torn in her chest as she knew what He would suffer. And a sword, too, shall pierce your Heart, O Mary!

4. The Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary - February 22, 1995

2. The Flight into Egypt
Joseph was told by the angel to flee. Joseph, Mary and the child Jesus had to flee because of what might happen to Jesus. They had to pack for a long stay. The child Jesus was so small! They left on their journey, hearts full of fear, trying to protect Jesus. They were forced to flee into Egypt.

5. The Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary - February 22, 1995

3. Jesus Is Lost, In the Temple
Imagine the sufferings in Mary's heart when she realized the child Jesus was not with them. Think of how it would be to lose your child and not know where he was or if anything happened to him. With sorrow in their hearts, Mary and Joseph returned to Jerusalem to look for the child Jesus. And a sword, too, shall pierce your heart, O Mary!

6. The Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary - February 22, 1995

4. Jesus Carries His Cross
Song: See the eyes that look at Mary, her tender infant child. See the child's Heart beat so tenderly, the Savior of the world!
See the eyes of Jesus and Mary as they met on Calvary. Mary's Heart knew Jesus' Heart so well! From the first moment of conception and throughout His life, Mary was so connected with Jesus and now she peered into His eyes. The crown of thorns adorned His Head! Blood ran down His face! A heavy cross on His back! Wounded, His whole body covered with bleeding wounds! And her whole life flashed before her, the life that she had spent with Jesus. This was the beloved child that she had held in her arms when Simeon told Mary that 'a sword, too, shall pierce your Heart, O Mary!'

7. The Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary - February 22, 1995

5. Jesus Dies on the Cross
Mary stood under Jesus' cross as He was put to death. The child that she had held in her arms as Simeon prophesied, And a sword, too, shall pierce your Heart, O Mary! Now Jesus is dead on the cross! He gave His flesh, He gave His blood so that we might be with Him forever in heaven. He held not back. He gave His all. He calls out to us this day to see through the eyes of His mother as she appears and calls out with a Heart of great love, "Return to the love of my Son! He is with you this day. He remains with you, no less present than the day that He hung on the cross, in the Eucharist. He longs for you to come and be with Him. He is in your brother. How can you not love your brother when Jesus died for your brother?"

Her Heart was pierced with a sword. His Heart was pierced with a lance. What came forth was blood and water, the sacramental life of the church. He lives with us this day in the Church. He gives to us His sacraments, the source of His life! He gives to us the Sacrament of Penance whereby any sin that we commit can be taken away through the priest. He wants us to be so close to Him! He gives us everything to be close to Him. But we see with such limited vision only those things that are right before our face, when the true reality is that which we don't see with our eyes, the reality of the invisible divinity of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, in the consecrated Host! This is reality! This is our life! This is our power! This is God! And a sword, too, shall pierce your Heart, O Mary!

8. The Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary - February 22, 1995

6. Jesus Is Taken Down from the Cross
If we ever doubted for one second that we were loved, we could visualize the picture of Mary as she sat beneath the cross with the lifeless, battered, bruised and bloodied body of her Son in her arms, the same child that she held when Simeon prophesied her suffering. He gave His last breath. He gave the last beat of His Heart. He gave His all! This is the way He complied with the Will of the Father. He came to show us the way. He died in perfect peace. To His death He was in peace because He knew the Father's love. The Father loves us so much that He gave His only begotten Son for love of us! The Spirit descended upon the Virgin Mary and the Word was made flesh! The love of the Two Hearts! Such immense love beating for us!

In all love there is suffering. Her Heart was pierced with a sword. His Heart was pierced with a lance. And a sword, too, shall pierce your Heart, O Mary!

9. The Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary - February 22, 1995

7. Jesus Is Locked in the Tomb
And now Jesus, His body lifeless, is locked in a tomb! What cold reality for Mary to realize that His body is now gone! A stone separated her from her Son!

He gave His last breath! He gave the last beat of His Heart for love of each one of us! And she comes to us this day with her sweet, beautiful voice and she asks us to go to her Son and love Him! How can we refuse Jesus who spread His arms and gave His life for each and every one of us? How can we not trust Him when He loved us so much that He allowed them to tear His flesh, to crown Him with piercing thorns and, lastly, to hang Him on a cross? He truly gave His life for us! He, truly God, is with us this day, the same as the day He died on the cross, in the tabernacle! And we take it so lightly! Death has no power over Him! Locked in the tomb for three days, He rose triumphant on the third day as He had foretold. He comes to give us life. He gives us the sacrament of Baptism that initiates us into His life, that makes us children of God and heirs of heaven if we remain in the state of grace. He asks two things: love of God and love of one another! He came to show us the way and His way is love. To His death on the cross He loved each one of us! He calls out to each one of us here today to be His soldiers, to march on a world that has forgotten God, that has forgotten what it is like to love! It is a battle to live in this world. But the battle is won with hearts that are filled with His love, empowered by the grace and might that He pours out in the Eucharist. He calls out for us to come to the Eucharist and to the tabernacle and be fed with His very flesh and blood. To feed on Divine Life, the greatest nourishment, the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God! This is the love He gives. This is the love He asks us to share.

10. Sing: A Song from Jesus

The Finding in the Temple

1. Luke 2: 48-50

They were overcome when they saw him, and his mother said to him, ‘My child, why have you done this to us? See how worried your father and I have been, looking for you.’ He replied, ‘Why were you looking for me? Did you not know that I must be in my Father’s house?’ But they did not understand what he meant.

2. Sing: See the Eyes That Look at Mary

3. Excerpt from Mother at Our Side by Fr. Edward Carter, S.J., Founder pp. 12-14

God's Will—Our Guiding Principle

The above scene describes how Mary and Joseph found Jesus in the temple after having been separated from Him. As they were returning home after the Passover celebration, they realized Jesus was not with them, and returned to Jerusalem to search for Him. The scene has various lessons for us concerning God's will.

        4. Excerpt from Mother at Our Side - God's Will-Our Guiding Principle continues

With the Holy Family traveling in two separate groups (Mary with one, Joseph with the other, and Jesus with either from time to time), we understand how Mary and Joseph could have received conflicting stories regarding their Son's whereabouts. The Father's will may have been made known to Jesus in such a way that the timing of His response precluded alerting His parents to the change in His plan. Whatever the details were, we can be assured that there was no error made on the parts of Jesus, Mary, or Joseph. We can base our trust in this on what we know through faith—that Jesus would never have been disobedient or thoughtless toward His parents, and that Mary and Joseph could not possibly have been inept parents.

    5. Excerpt from Mother at Our Side - God's Will-Our Guiding Principle continues

Even so, as people who expect certain behaviors of children and parents, we can be unsettled by some unanswered questions presented. Yet, since this event is included in Sacred Scripture, we know it has tremendous value for us as the Word of God. We also know that obedience to God's will always works in the best interests of everyone concerned, even when it is not obvious, even for quite some time.

    6. Excerpt from Mother at Our Side - God's Will-Our Guiding Principle continues

The scene reminds us of the guiding principle of Jesus' life—loving conformity to His Father's will. Although Mary and Joseph were returning home, in some way Jesus knew He was supposed to remain in the temple at this particular time. His course of action was no different in this instance than it had been in the past and would be in the future. His Father's will was made manifest, and He obeyed; His Father showed the way, and He followed. The Father's will was always Jesus' way, every day, in all matters. As followers of Jesus, His guiding principle must also be ours.

    7.  Excerpt from Mother at Our Side - God's Will-Our Guiding Principle continues

This event in Christ's life also demonstrates that conformity to God's will sometimes brings hurt or sorrow to loved ones. Jesus knew that His remaining behind would cause suffering for Mary and Joseph—we can well imagine their anxiety. Jesus was sorry this had to be. He certainly was not insensitive to His parent's feelings, yet He had to do what He did. There can be similar situations in our own lives. Precisely because we are striving to seek out and do God's will, we may be causing hurt to loved ones. We know, however, there is no other course of action if we are to be open to God's designs for us.

    8. Excerpt from Mother at Our Side - God's Will-Our Guiding Principle continues

The finding of the child Jesus in the temple illustrates still a further point regarding conformity to God's will. Mary and Joseph knew that somehow it was God's will that Jesus remain in Jerusalem as they themselves headed back to Nazareth. Yet they did not comprehend why all this happened. They recognized God's will, but they did not understand it. They accepted this will, however, along with the pain it produced in their lives.

    9. Excerpt from Mother at Our Side - God's Will-Our Guiding Principle continues

The application of this lesson to our own Christian lives is vividly manifest. At times there occurs an incident we do not understand. We realize that somehow this is God's will, at least His permissive will, yet we do not understand why, and our unknowing is part of our pain.

    10. Excerpt from Mother at Our Side - God's Will-Our Guiding Principle continues

Mary always perfectly conformed herself in love to God's will. It was her joy to so act. Sometimes the doing of God's will caused her considerable suffering, as we see from the above Gospel scene. Later on, the sword of suffering would pierce her even more deeply.

In summary, we can say that Mary always reached out and embraced God's will with the deepest love, whether this was easy or very difficult. Mary has left us these famous words: Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord. May it be done to me according to your word. (Lk. 1:38). Let us ask our mother to obtain for us the grace to grow in our own conformity to the will of God.

Mysteries of Light

The Baptism of Jesus

1. The heavens were thrown open - the Holy Spirit
was above the head of Jesus and the voice
    of the Father was heard.

2. "This is My beloved Son in whom, I am well
    pleased."

3. God introduces Jesus to the world as
His beloved Son in whom He is
    well-pleased.

4. John said to Jesus at the Baptism of Jesus
"I need to be baptized by You and
yet You are coming to me."

5. Pope John Paul II made this a mystery in the
    Mysteries of Light.

6. John's baptism, Fr. Joe said, was a public
commitment people made to live holy lives
and to prepare for the coming of God's
    Kingdom.

7. Jesus, Fr. Joe says, in being baptized, was publically
committing himself to do God's will and
to preach and build the Kingdom of God.

8. In baptism for us we receive a sharing
    in God's life.
Our knowing and loving capacity is
    elevated.

9. On the Feast of the baptism of Jesus, we
should take the opportunity to recommit
    to Jesus.
We can do this too when we pray this
    mystery of the rosary.

10. We need to give our will and our
    lives to God.

The Marriage at Cana

1. Jesus began His first miracle of
    His pubic life at a
    wedding in Cana.

2. Jesus changed water into wine.

3. We see from the mystery that Mary
    has powerful intercession.

4. Sing: A Priest is a Gift from God

5. A Prayer for Intimacy with the Lamb, the Bridegroom of the Soul

Oh Lamb of God, Who take away the sins of the world, come and act on my soul most intimately. I surrender myself, as I ask for the grace to let go, to just be as I exist in You and You act most intimately on my soul. You are the Initiator. I am the soul waiting Your favors as You act in me. I love You. I adore You. I worship You. Come and possess my soul with Your Divine Grace, as I experience You most intimately.

6. The Mass is the sacrifice of Calvary
    sacramentally made present.

7. We can unite all our prayers, works,
joys and sufferings to the Mass,
so grace will be released to the Church
and the world and our private intentions.

8. Say Daily Card –

9. Morning Offering

My dear Father, I offer you this day all my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings in union with Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, in the Holy Spirit.

I unite with our Mother, Mary, all the angels and saints, and all the souls in purgatory to pray to the Father for myself, for each member of my family, for my friends, for all people throughout the world, for all the souls in purgatory, and for all other intentions of the Sacred Heart.

I love You, Jesus, and I give You my heart. I love you, Mary, and I give you my heart. Amen.

10. Dear Father, thank You for giving
    us the Mass!!

Building the Kingdom of God

1. We see Jesus as a shepherd, not a
    typical King.

2. Jesus laid down His life for His
flock - He is the Good Shepherd.

3. We pray in the Shepherds of Christ for the
Reign of the Sacred Heart and triumph
    of Mary's Immaculate Heart.

4. 1 Corinthians 15: 20-28

In fact, however, Christ has been raised from the dead, as the first-fruits of all who have fallen asleep. As it was by one man that death came, so through one man has come the resurrection of the dead. Just as all die in Adam, so in Christ all will be brought to life; but all of them in their proper order: Christ the first-fruits, and next, at his coming, those who belong to him. After that will come the end, when he will hand over the kingdom to God the Father, having abolished every principality, every ruling force and power. For he is to be king until he has made his enemies his footstool, and the last of the enemies to be done away with is death, for he has put all things under his feet. But when it is said everything is subjected, this obviously cannot include the One who subjected everything to him. When everything has been subjected to him, then the Son himself will be subjected to the One who has subjected everything to him, so that God may be all in all.

5. Sing: Crown Him with Many Crowns

6. Sing: The King of Glory

7. We see Jesus as shepherd,
    the risen Lord and judge.

8. Sing: I Am a God of Justice

9. Jesus is Divinely Just –

10. Matthew 22: 36-40

‘Master, which is the greatest commandment of the Law?’ Jesus said to him, ‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and the first commandment. The second resembles it: You must love your neighbour as yourself.  On these two commandments hang the whole Law, and the Prophets too.’

The Transfiguration

1. Jesus took Peter, James and John up Mt. Tabor
    and appeared to them transfigured.

2. The voice of the Father was heard.
"This is My beloved Son in
    whom I am well pleased,
    listen to Him."

3. Luke 9: 23

Then, speaking to all, he said, 'If anyone wants to be a follower of mine, let him renounce himself and take up his cross every day and follow me.

4. Sing: I Am Your Sacred Heart

5. 1 Corinthians 13: 1-3

Though I command languages both human and angelic – if I speak without love, I am no more than a gong booming or a cymbal clashing. And though I have the power of prophecy, to penetrate all mysteries and knowledge, and though I have all the faith necessary to move mountains – if I am without love, I am nothing. Though I should give away to the poor all that I possess, and even give up my body to be burned – if I am without love, it will do me no good whatever.

6. Luke 2: 35

and a sword will pierce your soul too – so that the secret thoughts of many may be laid bare.'

7. Luke 24: 25-26

Then he said to them, 'You foolish men! So slow to believe all that the prophets have said! Was it not necessary that the Christ should suffer before entering into his glory?'

8. 2 Corinthians 6: 2

As he said, 'At the time of my favour I have answered you; on the day of salvation I have helped you'; well, now is the real time of favour, now the day of salvation is here.

9. Matthew 11: 25

At that time Jesus exclaimed, 'I bless you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, for hiding these things from the learned and the clever and revealing them to little children.

10. Sing: Glory, Glory, Glory Lord

The Eucharist: Source And Summit Of Christian Life

Our personal relationship with Christ is characterized by the realization of the great, special love of His Heart for each of us and of our need to love Him in return. The chief source for growth in this personal relationship with Jesus is the Eucharist. The New Catechism tells us: “The Eucharist is ‘the source and summit of the Christian life.’ The other sacraments, and indeed all ecclesiastical mysteries and work of the apostolate, are bound up with the Eucharist and are oriented toward it. For in the blessed Eucharist is contained the whole spiritual good of the Church, namely Christ himself, our Pasch.”6   6. The Catechism of the Catholic Church, p. 397.

2. Christ gave Himself to the
    disciples at the Last Supper.

3. Song: I Love You Jesus

4. The Mass is the sacrifice of
    Calvary, sacramentally
    made present.

5. A Prayer Before the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass

Let me be a holy sacrifice and unite with God in the sacrament of His greatest love.

I want to be one in Him in this act of love, where He gives Himself to me and I give myself as a sacrifice to Him. Let me be a holy sacrifice as I become one with Him in this my act of greatest love to Him.

Let me unite with Him more, that I may more deeply love Him. May I help make reparation to His adorable Heart and the heart of His Mother, Mary. With greatest love, I offer myself to You and pray that You will accept my sacrifice of greatest love. I give myself to You and unite in Your gift of Yourself to me. Come and possess my soul.

Cleanse me, strengthen me, heal me. Dear Holy Spirit act in the heart of Mary to make me more and more like Jesus.

Father, I offer this my sacrifice, myself united to Jesus in the Holy Spirit to You. Help me to love God more deeply in this act of my greatest love.

Give me the grace to grow in my knowledge, love and service of You and for this to be my greatest participation in the Mass. Give me the greatest graces to love You so deeply in this Mass, You who are so worthy of my love.

-Mass Book, December 27, 1995

Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle B of the Litugical Year (2011/2012)
$ 10.00

Guiding Light homily series — Reflect on the Word — Cycle B     The Word leaves an impression on our souls. In my thoughts and reflections are born a more tangible understanding of these eternal concepts presented in the Gospels and the readings. Anyone can read a sentence, but not anyone can absorb it's true meaning. Truth, in this day and age, is almost a matter of opinion or individual entitlement. We believe that Christ's truth is our Roman Catholic Church. We, as priests, champion it's teachings; we are ambassadors for the Pope and Christ to those faces looking at us. We are the light by which our congregation reads to reflect upon real truth and we do it hand in hand. $10

Guiding Light - Steadfast to the Son
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle A of the Litugical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light homily series — Steadfast to the Son — Cycle A    The sunflower is a great example of how we should be steadfastly guided by light. What a powerful thought that this exceptional plant is not stuck in one pose day in and day out, yet adaptable and magnetized to the sun. We feel the same about our Son. Our heads turns to face Christ as each day presents its challenges to find light. We join together like plants in a field and soak up the Son through the pulpit. We are a warm circle of strength using the wind of our breath to carry our priests' words, Christ's words, to new rich soil. $10

Guiding Light - Focusing on the Word
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle B of the Litugical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light — Focusing on the Word — Cycle B    At times we may feel that our path to Christ is a bit "out of focus". Like the disciples in the Book of Mark, this ordinary life clouds our vision of Christ's Divinity. We may doubt the practicality or possibility of applying His teachings and example to our modern life. Cycle B's homilies are a "guiding light" to help us realize Jesus' Messianic greatness and His promise of better things to come. $10

Guiding Light - Feed My Soul
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle C of the Litugical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light — Feed My Soul — Cycle C    In a world rapidly advancing and encouraging personal gain, we are faced with modern problems. There is a challenge to find time in our busy schedules for Sunday Mass or a family meal. We are able to research, shop, bank and even work without hearing one human voice. It is no wonder that we may often feel disconnected and famished at our week's end. In Fr. Joe's third book of homilies from Cycle C, we are reminded of the charity that Christ intended us to show each other. We have a calling to turn the other cheek and be the Good Samaritan to others. We are rewarded with the Father's kingdom and love when we are not worthy. We are not left alone or hungry. $10
