LIVE SIDNEY ROSARY
Holy Spirit Novena
Shepherds of Christ Prayer Manual
November 17, 2003 - After 7a.m.
Jesus speaks: I want you to hear these words about community
life. In the religious communities one is put
in charge over others. If it is a well established,
old community, there is that strength in having
new recruitees coming to live and grow in the
community.
The dysfunction of the leaders and dysfunction
of those underneath can effect the community.
What is needed is well founded institutions where
the leader is so firmly rooted in doing God's will
and serving God in the community, where they
become a vessel where the rule of life is lived
and the person acts as a go-between, between
the leaders (ultimately God) and those under them.
If the person as leader is in need of serious renewal
themselves they will affect the whole community with
their dysfunction, they will relate to those over them
in dysfunction and those under them in dysfunction.
The way the world today emphasizes the focus
on the self, lack of respect for authority and
being out for "number 1" makes living without
dysfunction most difficult in less established
communities.
A strong union of those in individual
houses must be there all operating functionally
in a pure and holy way.
Those under those in authority in communities
can be very strong-willed and constantly
in competition with leaders creating constant
tension, as one in a boxing ring, trying to be
over the leader and operating in their dysfunctional
way trying to get the whole community to do
their dysfunctional dance.
Let Me tell you a story — a man can marry
a woman and enforce his dysfunction on
her by force of his strong-will.
Two others may marry and the woman
through ways of manipulation and strong-
will force her ways on him, they live
in dysfunctional ways.
Ephesians 5: 21-33
Be subject to one another out of reverence for Christ. Wives should be subject to their husbands as to the Lord, since, as Christ is head of the Church and saves the whole body, so is a husband the head of his wife; and as the Church is subject to Christ, so should wives be to their husbands, in everything. Husbands should love their wives, just as Christ loved the Church and sacrificed himself for her to make her holy by washing her in cleansing water with a form of words, so that when he took the Church to himself she would be glorious, with no speck or wrinkle or anything like that, but holy and faultless. In the same way, husbands must love their wives as they love their own bodies; for a man to love his wife is for him to love himself. A man never hates his own body, but he feeds it and looks after it; and that is the way Christ treats the Church, because we are parts of his Body. This is why a man leaves his father and mother and becomes attached to his wife, and the two become one flesh. This mystery has great significance, but I am applying it to Christ and the Church. To sum up: you also, each one of you, must love his wife as he loves himself; and let every wife respect her husband.
November 17, 2003 message continues
Jesus speaks: In marriage two join to operate
functionally, in holy love, growing
to be more perfected — to be growing
as I desire.
Many cannot operate functionally in a holy
manner in marriages. Many marry to get love
rather than give it.
In relationships all kinds of dysfunctions
can be present. A woman wanting to mother her
husband will be met with resistance or he may
go in the other extreme because of her willfulness
and determination and she end up telling him what
to do, "go to bed", "eat your cereal" etc. Why should
she be the one telling him what to do? She raises herself
up as being "all knowing" and because of her strong-
will he surrenders. She is usually looking for
ways to dominate others where ever she goes.
If a person is this way in communities, they
fail to look at themselves and work on others.
Where they should be working on their own
imperfections, they create imbalances wherever
they go, looking to rescue and raising themselves
above others. They do not serve purely, there
is a "hook" to gain this recognition as one
in the know.
In communities there is a common goal, to
serve this purpose. My way of life in the Shepherds
of Christ is clearly defined. A strong core group at
each center is connected living this way of life.
Communities can become "boxing rings" where
the wills of many meet.
There must be a strong leader in each
community committed to the cause and service
of those above and underneath and the overall
attitude is love of God, love of others (the world,
the Church) love for the leaders and love for those
under them. But in this love, one does not sacrifice
the ways of the community, the rule of life for the
dysfunctional people.
Once the community is established, each center,
on firm ground, operating with minimal real
dysfunction, then there is a strong core there
of people living the "rule" and way of
life. It is pandemonium if people who
were called to establish the rule and set
up the communities give into jealousy, envy,
power struggles, lack of respect for authority.
There must be that one central figure of authority
acting as a vessel from the Mother House
and the people in the community there.
Having not understood authority — one in
authority may participate weakly allowing those
under them to battle for control and the strongest
will, will win out because those under are strong-
willed and always challenging and fighting for the
leader's seat or in the second case the leader may
operate as a tyrant.
In holy communities the rule is established,
the leader, being so united to God and dependent
on His might, is a loving example for those under
them and a vehicle connecting that community
to the Mother House and ultimately to a firm
commitment and serving God and doing
God's will.
Imbalance in communities because of
strong-willed persons who have had trouble
with authority and wanting their way, rationalizing
why their way is the right way is the devil's
playground. It challenges the leader constantly
and creates the boxing match. Very dysfunctional
people may go to any extent to get their will,
what manipulation tactics they use will depend
on what extent they must go to, to put their
familiar, dysfunctional, dance in play.
People entering a community sense
dysfunction immediately and do not want
to stay in that atmosphere — because of this
there is little or no growth, some faithful
normal ones may leave.
Anger and force can be used to get people
in line, raising ones voice, throwing things,
stamping a foot, but what can a leader
do with the willful "followers" wanting to
establish a way of life according to their
ways, or wanting to be in charge because
they never wanted to have anyone over them.
My communities in the Shepherds of Christ are
to be centers of love and devotion to My Sacred
Heart, the Heart of Divine Love. I want special
spouses to help Me by living this committed way of
life, helping to Spread Devotion to My Sacred Heart
and Devotion to My Mother's heart, praying for the
priests, the Church and the world.
Some can enter, but say to themselves —
when I get there I will change them to my
way of thinking — others may say, I will help
them all, I know more than them — I will
show them the way — others say, I will bring
my wares and this will make me famous etc —
etc, etc.
You enter this community for this purpose, to
live a holy life rooted in Devotion to the Sacred
Heart and Immaculate Heart praying for the priests,
the Church and the world.
Some are addicted to excitement and want constant
stimulation, fighting, arguing, raising up, teasing,
can all create this stimulation.
Others come because they love God and believe
in the Movement and want to serve in the
way I have asked for.
The servants and handmaids run the Shepherds of
Christ Movement following the messages I have
given to Fr. Carter and Rita Ring. Anyone who tells
themselves, I am getting messages and acts
privately on them can be instruments used by
the devil to lead things off.
The way of life is clearly defined —
This was set before Fr. Carter's death.
The execution of this Plan is what is
the continued work of the Shepherds of Christ.
Some cannot follow a simple direction
they have to change it so they are in control.
My ways of executing this plan, I make
clear in the messages given to My
Two Messengers.
Those who come should be asked clearly,
do you plan to abide by this way of life —
do you feel you receive messages and
intend to try to put your messages to work
here?
If the answer is yes to the second question in
any way, they may be a very poor candidate
causing much confusion.
The plan is set clearly.
The execution is in simple measures of
reaching the priests with the writings of
Fr. Carter and spreading the prayer
chapters all over the world in different
languages, establishing holy communities
all over the world in which the servants
and handmaids live in holy centers
doing THIS work following the instructions
I set forth.
I want these writings, messages and prayers
and songs to reach the far ends of the earth.
Satan comes with distractions to stop
this. I don't want you to give into him.
Unless there is a strong core group at
each center, acting as a vessel between the
Mother House and the people, a new recruitee
can come with dysfunction and rock your boat.
All act in a most perfected family at the
centers, united in this mission, not their own,
promoting the Ministry, not themselves, and
in strength when new recruits come they
can grow to be more perfected in the
Community. If one comes that is dysfunctional
and willful, they will grow and become more
perfected like the community or they will
leave. New dysfunctional recruits will not
rock the community, nor will those in the
community start dancing to the dysfunction
of a strong-willed new recruitee. The atmosphere
will be the way of life always and others can
join forces or leave if it is too difficult
to change their dysfunctional ways.
I want holiness — I want My centers
to be rooted deeply in service — leading others
to this work and growing in deeper holiness.
So far you have struggled to create this
firm footing at the Centers. This is paramount.
Rosie is in charge of Florida, Joe Lee is helping
to establish this deep footing there.
A house was built on solid ground and when
the wind blew it did not move.
If a house is built of sticks when the
big bad wolf comes, he will blow it away.
Fighting the authority to raise up is a
trick of satan — look at Adam and Eve. The
devil is waging a battle in your world getting
people all over the world to raise up
over the authority.
I am the one giving the messages in this
Movement. John W. is the head servant,
Emily is the head of the handmaids.
You are to establish strong centers of love,
where people want to come and worship God in
China before the Blessed Sacrament
24 hours a day, praying for the Movement
and the priests, the Church and the world.
These centers are to be centers of peace.
Florida is a place where people can come and see Me and your Mother Mary as she appears to her children from all over the world. All there serving should be united in this holy purpose, growing to be more perfected in their ways of loving. This is My message today. |

LEVELS OF COMMITMENT
There are seven levels of commitment in the Shepherds of Christ Movement.
There are Associates who gather and pray at least once monthly as a group and also help with donations to support the Shepherds of Christ priestly newsletter. They can be tremendously involved. They give as they feel they are able.
Apostles are members who have restricted their apostolic activity to the Shepherds of Christ. They literally act as a body of lay people who have given their lives in their present living situation to do all that they can to bring about the Reign of the Sacred Heart and the triumph of Mary's Immaculate Heart.
Prayer Apostles are often shut-ins, some are able to go to church and pray. They spend much of their lives praying for the Movement.
Apostles of the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus are those who spend at least two separate hours weekly before the Blessed Sacrament praying for the following:
For the spread of the devotion to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary culminating in the reign of the Sacred Heart and the triumph of the Immaculate Heart.
For the Pope.
For all bishops of the world.
For all priests.
For all sisters and brothers in the religious life.
For all members of the Shepherds of Christ Movement, and for the spread of this Movement to the world.
For all members of the Catholic Church.
For all members of the human family.
For all souls in purgatory.
Handmaids of the Good Shepherd are young and older women who have given their lives in community primarily to pray for the Shepherds of Christ Movement and intentions and to be special spouses of Jesus. Some have more duties than others. All have the primary duty of prayer and the desire to be a special spouse of our Lord. One of the functions of the handmaids is the involvement in praying for and helping to circulate the priestly newsletter. The handmaids are not members of a religious order.
Servants of the Good Shepherd are men who live in community with a lifestyle and purpose similar to that of the handmaids. The servants are not members of a religious order.
We wish to form a special congregation of priests who will realize their great oneness with Christ. They will be consecrated deeply to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary and support the Shepherds of Christ Movement as holy priests.
Whatever one's level of commitment in the Shepherds of Christ Movement, all share in promoting the overall goal of the Movement. This goal is to help in the spiritual renewal of the Church and the world. All varied ministries of the Movement are directed toward this purpose. The spirituality which the Shepherds of Christ Movement presents to its members and to those outside the Movement through its various ministries is very basic. This spirituality is explicitly Trinitarian and Christocentric. Our spirituality helps others, especially priests, to develop a very deep union with Jesus, this Jesus Who leads us to the Father in the Holy Spirit with Mary at our side. Our spirituality is deeply Eucharistic. We stress very much participation in the Mass and prayer before the Blessed Sacrament. We also emphasize the extremely important role of prayer in the spiritual life. Devotion to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary, especially consecration to Their Hearts, is also a most important and central element. We are very much interested in helping to bring the Fatima message to completion, a message which has consecration to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary at its very core.
