                Love

January 5, 1997

R. On January 5, 1997, I was wakened by Our Lord and He was mumbling as He was around my bed as He did on October 8, 1997, when He delivered the "Seedless, Barren, No Fruit on the Vine" message.

I heard Him and He repeated the words over and over again. I had a copy of the all-night message on the floor, I jumped from the bed and began to write around the message, for it was the only paper available and He was speaking very plainly and direct. I wrote this message in the margins of the paper. He kept repeating "BABY, BARE BABY, LAID BARE".

Jesus:  Open yourself, Oh Jerusalem, your time is come you will be a light to the people in darkness, many will walk whence you come and the earth will be shakened and the light will come across a dark sky and enlighten their minds.

Oh stiff-necked people, you are so stiff in your ways, let the spirit envelope you and lead you on your way.

A country of stiffs, a people of planning and prodding, of deliberating and wondering—you lack faith, Jerusalem, you lack faith in God.

Oh walk naked into the cold night, you are cold in your hearts and naked in your clothing—I cloth you with glory, I light your face with light, but you turn your cheeks to the darkness and stay stiff-necked in your hearts. Oh cold and dark hearts, reach for the light that you may know the glory that awaits the sinners and enlightens their minds.

April 25, 1994

R. I can't judge what His Will is for me by your behavior. I have to decide what He is calling me to do by whatever He is saying to me. If the whole world does one thing but He is telling me something else, I have to do His Will. You have your commands to follow from Him; I have mine.

If you choose to do something, but He tells me to do something else, I cannot get angry at you. I must love you where you are and pray for you. I am not the judge; I am not the jury; I am to spread His love. Always love nothing short of how He loved all. He did not condemn. He spoke about love; He spoke the truth. He is the Way, He is the Life, He is the Truth. His truth He makes known to us in His word, in our hearts, in these letters. I can choose His way or my own way. His ways He makes clear.

It is up to me to choose my will or His Will. Doing His Will is His Will. Many times it is not doing what I like at first, but He knows exactly what I need.                 R. We must bring the truth of God to others –
                    not try to manipulate in any way –
                    our plan –

                God has a plan –
                    We don't want to add any more distortion
                        of vision in the world to try to implement
                        our own plan –

                God has a plan for us in our lives, when He
                    brought us to this earth –
                    A plan for us in salvation history –
                    Even a person who is confined to a
                    wheelchair, has Parkinson's,
                    can be major in helping to bring
                    down grace during their lives
                    for the world, the Church –
                    the saints who helped build up

                    where a child was forced by the

                    We are to help them to see God as
                    the source of determining their
                    lives –

                I see Fr. Carter and his works are

                R. Fr. Carter always said, if a boy had a
                    vocation and the parents tried to
                    block it – then when he became
                    of age –
                    the son had to do what God called
                        him too –

                We see St. Francis –
                    he gave up everything –
                    his father didn't like his son's plan –
                    his father didn't want God's plan for Francis –

                Children are children of God –
                    We bring them into the world,
                    But God has a plan for their lives,

                We see our lives through the mind of God,
                    We live God's Plan for us –

                We see saints who died a brutal death –

                The Church was built up by the
                    blood of the saints –

                God the Father gave His Son –
                    Jesus died on the cross –

                When Peter tried to persuade Jesus to
                    not go to Jerusalem –
                    Jesus told him
                        "Satan get behind Me"

                Jesus lived the Plan of the Heavenly Father –

                Jesus intends us to see through the
                    eyes and mind of our Heavenly Father –

                We are dependent on the mind of God –

                We must see things as they
                    really are – in God –
                    this is reality –

                Children read stories in their children's books of
                    fantasy –
                    they see Cinderella etc. –
                    they see the step-mother trying
                        to block Cinderella –

                If we made up our own story of our
                    life and tried to put it out there
                    and make others fit in –
                    It is going away from the
                    reality of God's Plan for us –

                The Source of a vocation is God –

                The way we live our lives is we
                    seek God's purpose for our lives –

                In a vocation there is sacrifice –

                God the Father gave His only Son - the Son of God –

                A child comes from the womb of the mother –
                    from their birth – there is the letting go
                    to what God's purpose is for that
                    child –

                The religious life is not a life of doing
                    one's own will –
                    the religious life is a life of giving
                    oneself in sacrifice –

Scriptural Reflections

In all this Mary offers an example. Selfishness was totally foreign to her. She did not belong to herself. She belonged to God. She was not closed in upon herself. She was completely open to God. When God spoke, she listened. When God pointed the way, she followed. She realized that life is not a process a person masters by carefully mapping out one's own self-conceived plans of conquest, but a mystery to be gradually experienced by being open to God's personal and loving guidance.

Selfishness, then, did not close Mary off from God's call. Neither did fear. God asked her to assume a tremendous responsibility. He asked her to be the Mother of Jesus. Mary did not engage in a process of false humility and say that such a great role was above her. She did not say that she did not have the proper qualifications for this awesome mission. Briefly, she did not waste time looking at herself, making pleas that she was not worthy, telling the angel he had better go look for someone else. No, Mary did not look at herself. Her gaze was absorbed in God. She fully realized that whatever God asked of her, His grace would accomplish. She fully realized that although she herself had to cooperate, this work was much more God's than hers.

Mary's words, then, truly sum up what is the authentic Christian response at any point of life, in any kind of situation: "I am the handmaid of the Lord," said Mary, "let what you have said be done to me".

 

                R. Religious life, Fr. Carter says, is a life of
                    renunciation – of letting go of self –
                    like Mary –
                    Mary belonged to God –

                Jesus was crucified – He did His Father's will –

                Man comes with a wounded human nature –
                    A man has to always fight the
                    tendencies of the wounded human
                    nature of pride, anger, jealousies,
                    envy, slothfulness, greed, gluttony
                    and lust –

                A religious is to show to the world a more
                    and more perfected life of living
                    in virtue, of living as the Spouse
                    of Jesus, of living self-lessly –

                Why, because it is seeing one's life like
                    Mary –
                    through the eyes of the Heavenly Father –

                The community is the family in religious
                    life – there is greater love to
                    serve – as God has called a religious
                    one of turning one's life over to
                    a superior and living with others
                    as God has called and being
                    one in that community under
                    poverty, chastity and obedience –

                It isn't about a self-will –
                    where one plans to run things –
                    it's about service –
                    it's about sacrifice –
                    it's about dying to oneself to serve
                        the Church as the Spouse of Jesus

                The religious is interested in the Plan of
                    the Father - first – serving the
                    Church –
                    praying before the Blessed Sacrament for
                        the Church and the world –

                Being the Spouse of Jesus

                R. God has a plan –

                God the Father sacrificed His only
                    Son –

   

January 2, 1999

Mary: I am Our Lady of Snows. I come to cover the earth with a soft white blanket of my love.

I come to bring peace to the earth. I tell you to let go of the anxiety in your heart and experience my peace and His love.

I am your heavenly Mother. I come to hold you and caress you and take you to my Immaculate Heart.

 

                R. A religious loves and serves, gives their
                    life in sacrifice for God –
                    It is dying to self –

                R. A religious may not even realize,
                    like Betty, how their lives are
                    helping the Church and the world
                    in building up the Church –

                A wealth of grace, being outpoured
                    as a fountain on the world
   

                R. We have a duty and a calling in our
                    life to serve God as seen through
                    the eyes of our Heavenly Father –
                    in the way
                    in the place
                    God the Father wants us

                There are many vocations to serve
                    God and many places He wants us to be.

                Doing God's will is not being in
                    Florida when He called us
                    to Europe –

                Mary went where God called her
                    Bethlehem
                    Egypt
                    Under the Cross

                Mary was the perfect handmaid of the Lord!

                A child belongs to God –

                Every person has a plan through the
                    Father's eyes –
   

                R. Children are to be loved not out of
                    self-love, but as seen as
                    God wants them for His purpose.

                God's plan is seen through the
                    eyes of the Heavenly Father –
                    not through human scheming to
                    get our will –

                The devil is at work in one trying to
                    impose on another their plan
                    for an adult child's life –

                Whenever God calls us to a vocation
                    in life we see how important
                    that call is. Parents have children,
                    children marry and have more children
                    usually, those children have children
                    and so - on and so - on –

                God has a plan for salvation history –

                We see how Christ came from the
                    House of David –

                We see David so many years before
                    Christ was born – we see
                    willfulness even in the life of
                    David –

                Who are we to plan and prod and act like we
                    should scheme to work in any
                    vocation –
                    once a child becomes of age –

                We see Mary and the plan of God to
                    bring the sinless virgin into this
                    world.

                We see the barrenness of Elizabeth and that
                    she conceived John the Baptist –

                We see the barrenness of Rachel and
                    then she brought forth Joseph and
                    Benjamin and
                    their role in salvation history.

                We see Pope John Paul II came when he
                    did in Poland and his
                    mother died when he was young
                    and his brother died.

                We see the Plan of God in families,
                    We see the perfection of God's plan,
                        despite the willfulness of many.

                My mom and Fr. Joe's mom died when I
                    was 5 – this affected our lives –

                We see the battle in which St. Ignatius
                    hurt his leg and how it has
                    affected us in the Shepherds of Christ –

                I see this message July 31, 1994.

                R. Our Lady was appearing to me this very day –
                    Fr. Carter was there at the apparition.

                I saw Mary – almost every day from
                    July 5, 1994 – September 5, 1995
                    except for about 3 times when I
                    was late –

                Then Our Lady appeared like this in
                    Clearwater –

                Excerpt from October 5, 2014

                Mary: I am the singular vessel –

                I show you my Immaculate Heart –

                You, as handmaids of Jesus, are to live
                    your life to be pure in heart –

                I am Mary, the Immaculate Heart –

                I give you my heart to come and dwell
                    in my heart, your spiritual womb –
                    I am your spiritual Mother –

                You are not alone –

                I want you to be united to me –

                I give you my love as your spiritual Mother,
                    I want you to pray through my powerful
                    intercession.

                I appeared to you October 2, 2014 to teach you
                    about intercession through My Immaculate
                    Heart.

                R. Mary appeared to me October 2, 2014 in
                    magnificent light and her beauty was
                    unmeasured in her faces she showed
                    me. There was a silence as I watched the vision –
                    a silence, so still in the vision, but the
                    handmaids and another person prayed the rosary
                    outside the apparition room in one voice –
                    it sounded very unified and strong
                    and sincere, but in her vision I
                    know a profound stillness as I
                    watched Mary in such enormous
                    light, pray, her mouth moving so
                    distinctly, so pronounced with them as
                    they prayed. I continued to watch this
                    for the first two decades of the rosary,
                    for apparitions seem to leave me
                    weak sometimes and then I am
                    wrapped in that peace of having
                    seen her and left listless or tired.
                    She prayed pronounced with them and
                    it looked as if in great unity with
                    them. Unity is the word I knew –
                    Unity and sincerity in their prayers
                    and unity of the Mother of God appearing
                    before me in such beauty and light –
                    praying in unity with them, but there
                    was only stillness in the apparition –
                    no noise.

                        I have an apostle rosary I place on
                    the Mary statue in the apparition
                    room and when I pray the rosary
                    or lead the rosary in the room
                    I hold that rosary many times – I lead
                    the beginning of every bead only with
                    Hail Mary and they say all the rest of
                    the prayer. It is a profound unity in
                    one voice I hear when they are
                    out there many times, sometimes I
                    feel the sound is the sound of unity
                    I hear that is joined by what God
                    is allowing me to hear, the songs I
                    lead are very united in perfect
                    voice and very angelic. The voices
                    perfectly synchronized and heavenly
                    sounding and there is absolute
                    stillness in the vision.

                        On October 2nd as they prayed and I
                    heard this unity from those outside the
                    apparition room – I saw the same
                    way visions of Mary change for the
                    20 years she has appeared to me –
                    Stillness and her beautiful face changes
                    from different faces without a noise,
                    so smooth as when the Monstrance
                    in China has changed positions –
                    it turns without a noise, without
                    any seeing it turn, it is in motion
                    without detectable motion of it
                    turning.

                        Mary was like this in the vision –
                    surrounded in light and the faces
                    of the Virgin different as her faces
                    changed, one more beautiful and
                    different than the other – so beautiful
                    and a profound response of her
                    answering or praying with the
                    prayers united outside the room –
                    in stillness of her response inside –
                    I have never seen this before – it was
                    at a certain point and made clear
                    to me – she held an invisible rosary
                    and her fingers were going from bead to bead
                    as she prayed with them.

                        I watched this vision for as long as I
                    could, then I was left weak and
                    sort of limp, hearing the praying outside
                    and continuing to just bath in a
                    quiet presence.

                        I was not focused on Jesus, but to
                    the left I saw light and knew His
                    presence in there likewise, Mary's
                    apparition was the focus and she was
                    giving this gift to us in the first day of
                    retreat. Many times I receive an
                    apparition of Mary on the 2nd
                    of the month and sometimes the 3rd
                    too, many times the 5th. It is not unusual
                    for me to see Mary on the 2nd.
                    This date to me, reminds me of the Two Hearts,
                    of Jesus and Mary and the calling
                    I receive to come do the retreat
                    the 2nd to the 5th in the Clearwater
                    building.

                        As I watched Mary pray more profoundly
                    than I ever saw with those outside and
                    heard such profound unity in their
                    prayers, although Mary looked in
                    complete unity with them, I wondered
                    if she would say

                        Hail Mary – to herself
                        Holy Mary – praying this –

                    I have wondered this before –

                    The next day I was told of Mary's powerful
                    intercession, when we pray and ask her
                    to intercede for us to God –

                        Mary, the Mother of God –
                        Mary, the pure and Immaculate Heart –
                        Mary, our Mother,

                    Intercedes to God, Our Heavenly Father,
                        Jesus, the Son of God and her
                        Spouse the Holy Spirit.

                    In this place heaven showed me –
                        how powerfully Mary prays as
                        an intercessor –
                        the perfect prayer –
                        the pure prayer –
                        a heavenly prayer of intercession
                            to her Son Jesus as we
                            know and were shown the
                            prayer of Mary to her Son at
                            the Marriage of Cana –

                To you, as a messenger, I account this
                experience - for never will I have such
                an understanding of Mary's powerful
                intercession as I have now from
                this vision.

                R. Our job is to spread the Good News –

                There are so many people who are
                    Catholic and aren't living
                    their Catholic faith –

                There are so many of their children
                    not baptized –

                A woman on the plane said to me
                    when I asked her if she was
                    Catholic
                    "no I'm Episcopalian, it's the Catholic
                    Faith in the light –
                    without the guilt of the Catholics –
                    without all those Hail Marys"

                Mary appears on the 5th because of the 5 blasphemies
                    against Mary.

MARY OUR MOTHER - December 5, 1995 (excerpt)

She has asked us to make the first Saturday devotion. Sr. Lucia ask Our Lord why there were five first Saturdays.

He revealed to her:

My daughter, the reason is simple. There are five types of offenses and blasphemies committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary:

1. Blasphemies against the Immaculate Conception.
2. Blasphemies against Her Perpetual Virginity.
3. Blasphemies against Her Divine Maternity, in refusing at the same time to recognize Her as the Mother of men.
4. The blasphemies of those who publicly seek to sow in the hearts of children indifference or scorn, or even hatred of this Immaculate Mother.
5. The offenses of those who outrage Her directly in Her holy images.⁴⁶
