Prayer for Grace for our Country

Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our president and leaders. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.

R. We have to be prepared that is what Advent tells us.

God is our happiness.

God has given us the commandments and His Word and the Church so we will know the truth.

God asks us to put our life in His hands.

God wants us to have faith to believe in Him.
We need to stay united to God even in suffering.

In this is our strength.
Strength is in staying rooted in God.

God communicates to us in our heart and soul.
We must be sensitive to the Holy Spirit.

We hope in our eternal salvation and the eternal salvation of others.

Those with terminal illness can surrender and find strength in God.
We need to focus on God, His grace and His blessings.

We have a choice to choose God's plan or choose bad choices, some bad choices can be from anger, revenge etc and we may not have listened to God.

Some can be so busy listening to satan's bad choices, then lying to themselves about their part in choosing them.

Put your faith in God.
Love God first.
Listen in your heart for God’s will.

Be prepared.
The storms in life won’t be destroying your boat in life when you are rooted in God, even in the greatest suffering.

Wait on the Lord, and He will grant your heart's request.

Live in the Moment (excerpt)

Jesus: ... I will give you all you need, all things will fall into place, you must trust Me, My child, at every moment, practice letting go and trusting in Me. Whenever doubt comes to your mind, let go and feel My peace, do this constantly, let go. Live in the moment, your smile for this world, no anxieties on your brow, the look of freedom from suffering that only I give. I have suffered for you; I give you life. 36 GOD’S BLUE BOOK What have you to fear, I am with you, I love you. I walk with you always, I am in your heart, My eyes are upon you, be in a good frame of mind. I am right by you, your job for Me is to show this world peace and love in your heart. No trouble should stop you, you give your burdens to Me and experience the freedom of living in My love, smiling My smiles. Faith, Trust, Faith, Trust, Live, Smile. Let Me live in you, dwell in you, love through you. Turn every action over to My care and I am taking care of you. You will know you don’t have to do it alone. It will work out. We are One, a team. Say thanks, thanks for life, children, your body, your food, the air, your walking, talking, water. Don’t take anything for granted. Say thanks, thanks, look for all the good in your life, it is there in abundance. Your face should carry a smile because you are well cared for. You are My loving child. I died for you. I give you a sharing in My life in baptism.

Sorrowful Mysteries

The Agony in the Garden

1. Jesus took Peter, James and John in the Garden.

2. Jesus knew He came to earth, to die and
    to rise again.

3. If I think of dying it may be fearful –
at the end of every Hail Mary we say
"Pray for us sinners now and at the
        hour of our death. Amen."

4. The blind do not see, but we can
    see with our hearts.

5. Spiritual wisdom – knowing the body
is here to help us, but men's
hearts and souls are to be ready
    for death.

6. And the end can come and are you
    ready?
    Remember the scripture of the
        foolish and wise virgins.

7. Matthew 25: 1-13

Parable of the ten wedding attendants

‘Then the kingdom of Heaven will be like this: Ten wedding attendants took their lamps and went to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish and five were sensible: the foolish ones, though they took their lamps, took no oil with them, whereas the sensible ones took flasks of oil as well as their lamps. The bridegroom was late, and they all grew drowsy and fell asleep. But at midnight there as a cry, "Look! The bridegroom! Go out and meet him." Then all those wedding attendants woke up and trimmed their lamps, and the foolish ones said to the sensible ones, "Give us some of your oil: our lamps are going out." But they replied, "There may not be enough for us and for you; you had better go to those who sell it and buy some for yourselves." They had gone off to buy it when the bridegroom arrived. Those who were ready went in with him to the wedding hall and the door was closed. The other attendants arrived later. "Lord, Lord," they said, "open the door for us." But he replied, "In truth I tell you, I do not know you." So stay awake, because you do not know either the day or the hour.

8. The days of our lives move on in
    petty pace –

January 27, 1992

I can never live the
moments of this day again.

When I go to bed
today is gone forever.

I must choose to treasure
each moment because
it is the only moment I have and
it only lasts one moment.

9. Jesus knew pain, He knew the pain
of those He loved so much and they
would hold onto their sins - despite
    His suffering.

10. Satan wants souls for hell, eternally.
Jesus paid the price for our sins.

The Scourging at the Pillar

1. Jesus had such anguish in the Garden,
    He sweat blood.

2. John 3: 16

For this is how God loved the world:
he gave his only Son,
so that everyone who believes in him
    may not perish
but may have eternal life.

3. Adam and Eve sinned –
Jesus paid for our sins with
        all He endured.

4. Jesus' flesh was mutilated for our sins.

5. Jesus loves us so much.

6. Jesus wants us with Him eternally in
    heaven.

7. Sing: A Song from Jesus

8. John 7: 1-2, 10, 25-30

After this Jesus travelled round Galilee; he could not travel round Judaea, because the Jews were seeking to kill him. As the Jewish feast of Shelters drew near,

However, after his brothers had left for the festival, he went up as well, not publicly but secretly.

Meanwhile some of the people of Jerusalem were saying, 'Isn't this the man they want to kill? And here he is, speaking openly, and they have nothing to say to him! Can it be true the authorities have recognised that he is the Christ? Yet we all know where he comes from, but when the Christ appears no one will know where he comes from.' Then, as Jesus was teaching in the Temple, he cried out: You know me and you know where I came from. Yet I have not come of my own accord: but he who sent me is true; You do not know him, but I know him because I have my being from him and it was he who sent me. They wanted to arrest him then, but because his hour had not yet come no one laid a hand on him.

9. Ephesians 1: 7

in whom, through his blood,
    we gain our freedom,
        the forgiveness of our sins.
Such is the richness of the grace

10. Jesus' body was torn, beaten
    and bloodied for our sins.

The Crowning with Thorns

1. We can tell if we are headed in the
    wrong direction.
Satan tells us what's wrong is
        right and what's right is
        wrong.

2. Look at Jesus crowned with
    thorns. Study His
    bruised head and beaten
    body.

3. They beat Jesus' head. His eyes
    bled, His eye shut, His
    teeth went through His
    tongue.

4. Jesus withstood all this
    for our sins.

5. Jesus was mocked, spit on –
clothed in a dirty, purple robe,
and He was given a scepter.

6. The men laughed and mocked
    Jesus. The devil gives men
    energy to those who give
    into their abusive ways
    to hurt others.

7. Satan is real. Satan
    hates Jesus.

8. Satan tempts people to do
    His work and they give
    in. Hatred, joy watching
others suffer can become a habit.

9. Pride is a bad habit –
    Wanting to seek dominance
    for dominance sake
    to be above others.

10. Oh Jesus we are sorry
    for our sins and you
    suffered so.

Jesus Carried His Cross

1. Jesus carried the cross
    laden with the sins
    of the world.

2. Jesus fell under the weight
    of His cross.

3. Jesus' shoulder felt as
    if it would break –
    They made Simeon
    help Jesus carry the cross.

4. Jesus saw the face of His
    Mother. Her teary
    red face – Jesus' face
    was covered with blood.

5. How could Jesus even see
    with blood in His eyes,
    thorns on His head?

6. Oh Jesus, Mary, thank You
    for suffering for us.

7. Oh God, we are sorry for the
    sins of the world.

8. Jesus fell three times under
    the cross.

9. Suffering is suffering.

10. Mary suffered so to see her
    Son.

The Crucifixion

1. Jesus hung for 3 hours to His death.

2. Can you ever imagine the pain of
    Jesus on the cross?

3. Crucifixion is a horrible death.

4. Jesus suffered the awful passion
    then was crucified.

5. How intense is the pain, Jesus
    suffered?

6. His body hung, arms pulled, oh Jesus.

7. Jesus was crucified
    with two thieves.

8. A good thief and a bad
    thief.

9. We have a choice to
    obey God or disobey
    God.

10. The Mass is the
    sacrifice of Calvary
    sacramentally
    made present.

August 22, 2021

Jesus: Your prayers are so important
now. Pray hard, little ones, trust
in God and have faith, My people,
who will you serve? The world
has many evils and is focused
on rebellion.

I am a God of miracles.
Serve Me, My Children, I
am your God. Live according
to My Father's will. Live
in great oneness with your
heavenly Father.

Romans 8: 14-17

All who are guided by the Spirit of God are sons of God; for what you received was not the spirit of slavery to bring you back into fear; you received the Spirit of adoption, enabling us to cry out, 'Abba, Father!' The Spirit himself joins with our spirit to bear witness that we are children of God. And if we are children, then we are heirs, heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ, provided that we share his suffering, so as to share his glory.

Jesus: Don't let satan tempt you to
give into his temptations
and lose your peace and
your unity with Me. Keep
your eyes focused on your
heavenly Father and your
eternal reward.

    I bring you My love.
I give you from My bounty.
I am all good.

I love you so much, My
beautiful child. I give
you what is good for
your heart and soul.

Be holy – love God and
one another, do not give
into anger, jealousy,
envy and pride.

    Put God and God's will
first in your lives.

What have I done for Christ?
What am I now doing for Christ?
What ought I to do for Christ?

Jesus: Die to your selfishness
that you will rise in
Me. Love is life.

I give you Myself in the
Eucharist. I give you the
bread of life. I feed you
with Myself. The Eucharist
is My gift of Myself
to you. I love you, I
love you, I love you.

Sorrowful Mysteries

The Agony in the Garden

1. Jesus suffered to His Heart after
    all He endured for the
    souls that would keep
    sinning, hurting others,
    lying and living to be
    prideful.

2. There were 2 thieves crucified
    with Jesus.
The one is called the 'good thief'
    he told Jesus, "Remember
    me when you come into
    Your Kingdom."

3. The bad thief told Jesus to save
    Himself and them, He would
    not stop his angry ways.

4. God created us to be with Him
    eternally in heaven.

5. It's so sorry that people
    won't stop many times with
    their sins, hurting their
    eternal life and fighting and
    hurting others.

6. What God wants is living
    God's will in love.
God created us – He wants
    us to live eternally with
    Him in heaven.
    The Father's precious little
        child.

7. We have a free will to serve
Our Father and do His will –
or oppose the Father's will in
    pride and disobedience.

8. Our whole life should be
    focused on the goal of
    eternal life –
    Jesus gave His life for
        us - because He
        loves us so much.

9. When we die we have to let
    go of control, empty
    oneself –
    Why would anyone choose
    pride, control, anger,
    jealousy, envy, slothfulness,
    lust, gluttony when
    they could choose life
    in God, light in their
    soul!

10. And Jesus sweat Blood in the Garden.

The Scourging at the Pillar

1. The devil is relentless. He
    wants a soul to never
    admit their sins, to
    be unaccountable and
    irresponsible.

2. The devil prowls the world
    like a roaring lion, looking
    for someone to devour.

3. The devil wants to destroy, tear
    apart, divide, start
    chaos, bring hatred,
    argumentation –
    He wants to rule.

4. We see the slavery of the
    Jews under Pharaoh –
    A person that gives satan
    control of their hearts lives
    in darkness.

5. Jesus was whipped, beaten,
    whipped, His flesh torn
    for our sins.
    Stubborn men wanting
        to be right when they
        sin, may never want
        to give in.

6. Jesus was whipped and whipped
    again, for the person that
    just lives to stir up
    trouble among righteous
    men.

7. Satan is relentless, He
    never grows tired,
    never stops trying to
    rule in his
    evil ways over men.

8. Moses came a baby in a
    basket too.
    Moses and Aaron told the
    Pharaoh –
    "Let my people go."
    The Pharaoh wouldn't
        give in even after
        the plagues –
    Satan is relentless –
        When people sin –
        satan laughs!

9. Life / Death –
    The resurrection shows us
    there is life after death
for the man who loved and
    served God as he should.

10. Love gives of oneself.
    Christ emptied Himself,
        taking on all the
        sins of the world –
        because of His
        great love for us.

    We were created by God
        for God.

            Life
        _____________

            Passover

    Our true home is in
        heaven, with our
        heavenly Father – we must
        love and obey Him.

The Crowning with Thorns

1. Jesus showed us
        Death / Resurrection
    the pascal mystery.

2. Jesus is the King of heaven
    and earth.

    John 3: 16

For this is how God loved the world:
he gave his only Son,
so that everyone who believes in him
    may not perish
but may have eternal life.

3. Jesus allowed Himself to be
    crowned with thorns –
    His Head, beaten –
    He was mocked.
    He was spit on.
    Christ gave His all –
    He emptied Himself.

4. The first commandment of God.
    God says:
"I am the Lord thy God thou
    shalt not have any God's
        before Me."

    St. Augustine says:
        Peace is the tranquility
    of order –

5. Order is – God must
    be first.
    We are under God –

6. 1 Corinthians 15: 20-28

In fact, however, Christ has been raised from the dead, as the first-fruits of all who have fallen asleep. As it was by one man that death came, so through one man has come the resurrection of the dead. Just as all die in Adam, so in Christ all will be brought to life; but all of them in their proper order: Christ the first-fruits, and next, at his coming, those who belong to him. After that will come the end, when he will hand over the kingdom to God the Father, having abolished every principality, every ruling force and power. For he is to be king until he has made his enemies his footstool, and the last of the enemies to be done away with is death, for he has put all things under his feet. But when it is said everything is subjected, this obviously cannot include the One who subjected everything to him. When everything has been subjected to him, then the Son himself will be subjected to the One who has subjected everything to him, so that God may be all in all.

7. God created a beautiful, harmonious,
    good, orderly world. Disorder
    came from the rebellion,
    and disobedience of
    Adam and Eve.
    The world God created
    reflected the love of God
    for His creatures.

8. With sin, death entered the
    world.
Jesus is the way, the truth
    and the life –
Order – God must be first!

9. We see the deadly sins:
Pride is a sin and it is disorder.
When a person is angry or
    envious or jealous of their
    brother and holds out and
hold onto it – they put anger,
    jealousy, themselves,
    their sin before God.

10. We must see God's will
    and follow it to have
    peace in our lives –

From The Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius, by Louis J. Puhl, S.J. p.12

                        23. FIRST PRINCIPLE AND FOUNDATION

Man is created to praise, reverence and serve God
our Lord, and by this means to save his soul.

From The Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius
    by Louis J. Puhl, S.J.  p. 11

21.                     SPIRITUAL EXERCISES

Which have as their purpose the conquest of self
and the regulation of one's life in such a way that
no decision is made under the influence of any
    inordinate attachment

The Carrying of the Cross

1. They beat Jesus, crowned Him
    with thorns – then gave
    Him a heavy cross laden
with the sins of the world.
    He couldn't hardly move –
    His legs could hardly move.

2. Jesus fell under the weight
of the cross 3 times –
    They kept laughing at Jesus,
    hitting Jesus, forcing Him
    to get up again while
    He was carrying our
    sins.
    Satan is relentless.

3. Fr. Carter told us
    Kneel before the crucifix
        and ask
    1) What have I done for Christ?
    2) What am I now doing for Christ?
    3) What ought I to do for Christ?

4. Sin hurts our relationship
    with God and with others.
    Jesus sweat Blood in the
    Garden knowing all
    who would reject Him
    despite His love for them.

5. Definition of love –

Love is the gift of self to promote
the true good of those loved.

    Jesus showed us love in
        giving and taking –
    God is love.
    When we love genuinely,
    we can grow in Christ,
    in relationships.

6. It is loving to accept genuine,
    good love according to
    God's will from others.
    It helps us grow.

7. It is selfish when one person
is so shut up in themselves
    they refuse to work with
    others, communicate with
    others and force a fight
    to find out needed
    information to operate.

8. Love is giving without
    manipulation and expecting
    to control things for doing
    what is our duty –
    Using our job for selfish
        controlling power over
        others.
    Dominance for dominance
        sake.
    Satan wants to rule!!

9. We follow the cross of
    Christ. In the spiritual
    life we know we will
    suffer –
We pray for the grace we
        need most –

10. Hebrews 1:1

At many moments in the past and by many means, God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets; but

July 31, 1994

Words of Jesus to Members of Shepherds of Christ Associates:

"My beloved priest-companion, I intend to use the priestly newsletter, Shepherds of Christ, and the movement, Shepherds of Christ Associates, in a powerful way for the renewal of My Church and the world.

"I will use the newsletter and the chapters of Shepherds of Christ Associates as a powerful instrument for spreading devotion to My Heart and My Mother's Heart.

"I am calling many to become members of Shepherds of Christ Associates. To all of them I will give great blessings. I will use them as instruments to help bring about the triumph of the Immaculate Heart and the reign of My Sacred Heart. I will give great graces to the members of Shepherds of Christ Associates. I will call them to be deeply united to My Heart and to Mary's Heart as I lead them ever closer to My Father in the Holy Spirit."

- Message from Jesus to Father Edward J. Carter, S.J., Founder, as given on July 31, 1994,
feast of Saint Ignatius Loyola, Founder of the Society of Jesus (The Jesuits)

The Crucifixion

1. Death is our passage way
    to eternal life.

2. Jesus emptied Himself on the
    cross – He loved His
    Father's will –
    He gave Himself –
    He emptied Himself –
    Jesus was always concerned
        with others.

3. Jesus showed us, suffering
    according to the Father's will
    leads to greater life.

4. Jesus shows us dignity and
    peace in suffering.

5. Relationship with God
    means obeying His
    Commandments and
    living by His Word.

6. We are to die to our
    ways not like Jesus,
    to live more a life
    like Jesus.

7. The Church is the earthly
    and visible continuation
    of Jesus and His mission.

8. We live now His life, death and
    resurrection in our lives because
we want to go to heaven.

9. Death for us is the final
    self-emptying!

10. Everything we do
    should be living to
    be raised up higher –
    preparing for eternity.

    Death / Resurrection
    Passing over to the
        heavenly Father –

Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle B of the Litugical Year (2011/2012)
$ 10.00

Guiding Light homily series — Reflect on the Word — Cycle B     The Word leaves an impression on our souls. In my thoughts and reflections are born a more tangible understanding of these eternal concepts presented in the Gospels and the readings. Anyone can read a sentence, but not anyone can absorb it's true meaning. Truth, in this day and age, is almost a matter of opinion or individual entitlement. We believe that Christ's truth is our Roman Catholic Church. We, as priests, champion it's teachings; we are ambassadors for the Pope and Christ to those faces looking at us. We are the light by which our congregation reads to reflect upon real truth and we do it hand in hand. $10

Guiding Light - Steadfast to the Son
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle A of the Litugical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light homily series — Steadfast to the Son — Cycle A    The sunflower is a great example of how we should be steadfastly guided by light. What a powerful thought that this exceptional plant is not stuck in one pose day in and day out, yet adaptable and magnetized to the sun. We feel the same about our Son. Our heads turns to face Christ as each day presents its challenges to find light. We join together like plants in a field and soak up the Son through the pulpit. We are a warm circle of strength using the wind of our breath to carry our priests' words, Christ's words, to new rich soil. $10

Guiding Light - Focusing on the Word
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle B of the Litugical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light — Focusing on the Word — Cycle B    At times we may feel that our path to Christ is a bit "out of focus". Like the disciples in the Book of Mark, this ordinary life clouds our vision of Christ's Divinity. We may doubt the practicality or possibility of applying His teachings and example to our modern life. Cycle B's homilies are a "guiding light" to help us realize Jesus' Messianic greatness and His promise of better things to come. $10

Guiding Light - Feed My Soul
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle C of the Litugical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light — Feed My Soul — Cycle C    In a world rapidly advancing and encouraging personal gain, we are faced with modern problems. There is a challenge to find time in our busy schedules for Sunday Mass or a family meal. We are able to research, shop, bank and even work without hearing one human voice. It is no wonder that we may often feel disconnected and famished at our week's end. In Fr. Joe's third book of homilies from Cycle C, we are reminded of the charity that Christ intended us to show each other. We have a calling to turn the other cheek and be the Good Samaritan to others. We are rewarded with the Father's kingdom and love when we are not worthy. We are not left alone or hungry. $10
