Jesus speaks:
I speak of joy. Oh My people I want youto have joy in your hearts, even in suffering.
A man went out to a field and he came upon a
big ravine, he did not plant his seeds there
nor did he himself walk there.
Does this make sense. I watch you from
above, as the little sheep walked they followed
the sheep before them - soon they fell into
the ravine --- one led, the other followed, one
by one, by one ---
I am the Good Shepherd, I give you My Word,
I came and walked the earth, I walk before My
Sheep and they follow, they will not trip or lose
their way, they follow the Good Shepherd, others
have followed other leads and I watch them
choose the pit, one by one by one they follow
the one who goes before them.
Oh see the eyes of the children at play ---
Little ones with joy in their hearts --- joy --- joy
joy for the children.
One baby whined and wanted their way,
another baby was given much love and
learned that they must obey ---
I give you babies ready to be taught ---
You are teaching generations to come with
one child --- Parents teach as they are taught most of
the time, parents follow the leader, clergymen
follow those before them ---
Oh that I would have the generation that loved
so deeply the Lord, Thy God and taught the children
and the clergy to really worship Me from the
depth of their soul.
Oh I give you the Blue Book Messages of My
love and I watch you, you do not spread this gift
given from Me --- How will the generations change
when you to whom I speak with all My Heart
in these Blue Book Messages hold back.
Oh tenderly I speak of love, My love for
My People. I am Love. I love you. You are
hungry for My love. No one can fill you. When
you begin to feel the emptiness in your heart ---
run to My well overflowing with the abundance
of love, pouring forth from My Heart.
I am Jesus, the Divine God and I love
you so, so much, I love you, I love you,
I love you, I love you ---
Oh who has Power? I am the Almighty,
All Powerful God and I love you so much.
Do not give into the abusive ones, look to
the Light, Feast on My Treasures given to you,
let not the sun go down on your anger ---
be watchful, but operating with a heart
overflowing with My love.
I call you to different states in life. I
call my servants and handmaids to be My
special brides, I call you, you come because you
hear Me. Your life is lived as a special
spouse of Jesus.
A Prayer for Intimacy with the Lamb, the Bridegroom of the Soul
Oh Lamb of God, Who take away the sins of the world, come and act on my soul most intimately. I surrender myself, as I ask for the grace to let go, to just be as I exist in You and You act most intimately on my soul. You are the Initiator. I am the soul waiting Your favors as You act in me. I love You. I adore You. I worship You. Come and possess my soul with Your Divine Grace, as I experience You most intimately.
Love God, Love One Another
May 1, 1994 6:00a.m.
Jesus speaks: Where do My children go in their busy lives? People are so hard in the face. They are irritable, they push around so quickly. Where are they going? There is no peace in their faces, in their hearts, in their lives. Where do they go? What are they doing? In one second I could snatch their life and it is over!
How did you love? Nothing matters except how you loved Me and loved your brother. I call you to love of him, yet you treat him so cold. You tell your brother to get out of your way and you move stone-jawed ahead. You are in a hurry.
Think of an anxious bird. "Oh, how silly," you say. "A bird that is hurried and has to move quickly ahead?" "Oh, so silly," you say? You are just as silly with your anxiousness. I tend to the birds of the air. I tend to much more. I tend to you, My beloved ones.
I call you to love. I call you to kindness. I call you to be Christ-like. What is your gauge for living? Do you live to please Me or live to please yourself? Is your self ever satisfied? Does it say, "Now I feel good"? The self searches for that which only I can provide. The soul of each person craves the love of God. Without God in your heart there is misery. Your degree of happiness is proportional only to how you love God and your neighbor.
Seeking the self is misery. The self is never satisfied. It wants more and more and is satisfied less and less. Where are you going in your busy lives? How did you love? How did you love God and love your brothers?
Are you miserable? The world leaves you hard and empty. The world leaves you in a state of misery, of want for more, but never having enough. The world begs you to satisfy yourself and robs you of the love of God. I call you to selflessness. The world demands selfishness.
Oh, My precious ones, as quick as a summer rain I come and call your soul home to Me. My way is the way of love. When I call, will you have stored up treasures of love for Me and your brothers or will you have an empty heart?
I fill your heart with love. Only I can give you the love you seek. You search, you wander, you roam, while I wait here for you with an endless source of love and peace and joy. I fill your heart to the brim. The world robs you of your joy. It makes you self-seeking and you never find any joy there.
I am the Way. I am the Truth. I am the Life. I am Jesus, Son of the Living God, and I come to you this day with such love. Will you come and get your supplies? You are My soldiers in an empty world. You are the hearts full of the love of God. You will minister to My hurting ones for Me. You are My love given to your brothers. Will you answer My call to you to be a soldier in My army? Nothing you do here matters if it is not rooted in love. I am God and I am Love. I am the source of your joy. Come to Me, My babies. I give you all you need. I give you peace, joy and love.
I fill the aching heart and it operates in this world with love. Look at your stiff-necked brothers. See their pain. It is your love for them that will reflect the God within your soul. Oh, they know you are Christians by your love. Be Christ-like. Dismiss all hate and anger of your brother. Let your hearts be so pure, so full of My love! Come to Me. I wait for you, My loved ones. I await you in the tabernacle. I await you in the Holy Eucharist. Wherever you go, I go by your side. I am your God and I have loved you to My death. Will you love your brothers this way for Me.

and teach me your paths.ENCOURAGE me to walk in your truth and teach me
since you are the God who saves me.INTEGRITY and generosity are marks of Yahweh
for he brings sinners back to the path.JUDICIOUSLY he guides the humble,
instructing the poor in his way.KINDNESS unfailing and constancy mark all Yahweh's paths,
for those who keep his covenant and his decrees.ONLY those who fear Yahweh have his secret

This is the Gospel today
Luke 21: 25-28, 34-36
‘There will be signs in the sun and moon and stars; on earth nations in agony, bewildered by the turmoil of the ocean and its waves; men fainting away with terror and fear at what menaces the world, for the powers of heaven will be shaken. And then they will see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. When these things begin to take place, stand erect, hold your heads high, because your liberation is near at hand.’
‘Watch yourselves, or your hearts will be coarsened by debauchery and drunkenness and the cares of life, and that day will come upon you unexpectedly, like a trap. For it will come down on all those living on the face of the earth. Stay awake, praying at all times for the strength to survive all that is going to happen, and to hold your ground before the Son of man.’
Matthew 3: 1-12
In due course John the Baptist appeared; he proclaimed this message in the desert of Judaea, ‘Repent, for the kingdom of Heaven is close at hand.’ This was the man spoken of by the prophet Isaiah when he said:
A voice of one that cries in the desert,
‘Prepare a way for the Lord,
make his paths straight.’This man John wore a garment made of camel–hair with a leather loin–cloth round his waist, and his food was locusts and wild honey. Then Jerusalem and all Judaea and the whole Jordan district made their way to him, and as they were baptised by him in the river Jordan they confessed their sins. But when he saw a number of Pharisees and Sadducees coming for baptism he said to them, ‘Brood of vipers, who warned you to flee from the coming retribution? Produce fruit in keeping with repentance, and do not presume to tell yourselves, "We have Abraham as our father," because, I tell you, God can raise children for Abraham from these stones. Even now the axe is being laid to the root of the trees, so that any tree failing to produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown on the fire. I baptise you in water for repentance, but the one who comes after me is more powerful than I, and I am not fit to carry his sandals; he will baptise you with the Holy Spirit and fire. His winnowing–fan is in his hand; he will clear his threshing–floor and gather his wheat into his barn; but the chaff he will burn in a fire that will never go out.’

Revelation 6: 5-17
When he broke the third seal, I heard the third living creature shout, ‘Come!’ Immediately I saw a black horse appear, and its rider was holding a pair of scales; and I seemed to hear a voice shout from among the four living creatures and say, ‘A day’s wages for a quart of corn, and a day’s wages for three quarts of barley, but do not tamper with the oil or the wine.’
When he broke the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature shout, ‘Come!’ Immediately I saw another horse appear, deathly pale, and its rider was called Death, and Hades followed at its heels.
They were given authority over a quarter of the earth, to kill by the sword, by famine, by plague and through wild beasts.
When he broke the fifth seal, I saw underneath the altar the souls of all the people who had been killed on account of the Word of God, for witnessing to it. They shouted in a loud voice, ‘Holy, true Master, how much longer will you wait before you pass sentence and take vengeance for our death on the inhabitants of the earth?’ Each of them was given a white robe, and they were told to be patient a little longer, until the roll was completed of their fellow–servants and brothers who were still to be killed as they had been.
In my vision, when he broke the sixth seal, there was a violent earthquake and the sun went as black as coarse sackcloth; the moon turned red as blood all over, and the stars of the sky fell onto the earth like figs dropping from a fig tree when a high wind shakes it; the sky disappeared like a scroll rolling up and all the mountains and islands were shaken from their places. Then all the kings of the earth, the governors and the commanders, the rich people and the men of influence, the whole population, slaves and citizens, hid in caverns and among the rocks of the mountains. They said to the mountains and the rocks, ‘Fall on us and hide us away from the One who sits on the throne and from the retribution of the Lamb. For the Great Day of his retribution has come, and who can face it?’

Jeremiah 33: 14-16
“Look, the days are coming, Yahweh declares, when I shall fulfil the promise of happiness I made to the House of Israel and the House of Judah:In those days and at that time,
I shall make an upright Branch
grow for David,
who will do what is just and upright
in the country.
In those days Judah will triumph
and Israel live in safety.
And this is the name the city will be called:
Yahweh–is–our–Saving–Justice.”

Jesus speaks: Let your hearts not be troubled
trust in Me and be steadfast in
My love.
I am the Alpha and the Omega ---
the beginning and the end
all is in My Power ---
I am God.
A man built a bridge after he was
finished --- he was tired ---
brick by brick he tore it down.
Do you help to build My Kingdom, then
brick by brick help to tear it
down.
The evil one comes like a thief in the
night. He is evil --- he tries to
tear you apart --- he comes in
darkness --- his deeds are dark and
cunning. He is a slippery snake. He aims
to trip you up and tear you apart. You have
a will not to give into him.
He wants a victory for his evil ways.
Like a thief he aims to steal your hearts, your
energy --- he aims to wipe you out.
He is vile and argumentative, sneaky and
deceptive.
Genesis 4: 7
If you are doing right, surely you ought to hold your head high! But if you are not doing right, Sin is crouching at the door hungry to get you. You can still master him.’

Jesus speaks: Like a thief he comes in the night.
Like a thief he comes in the night.
Like a thief he comes in the night.
Why would you open your door to him and
let him in.
The devil has a bottomless pit of anger and
hatred.
Dark or Light --- you choose ---
you have a free will.
Deuteronomy 30: 19-20
Today, I call heaven and earth to witness against you: I am offering you life or death, blessing or curse. Choose life, then, so that you and your descendants may live, in the love of Yahweh your God, obeying his voice, holding fast to him; for in this your life consists, and on this depends the length of time that you stay in the country which Yahweh swore to your ancestors Abraham, Isaac and Jacob that he would give them.’

Messenger: Into
your hands, oh God, I commend my
spirit.
Luke 23: 46
Jesus cried out in a loud voice saying, ‘Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.’
I give myself to You.
I am Yours Lord --- Come and Possess my Soul.
Jesus speaks: Spend your hour
writing Me love
letters and reading your Blue
Book Message.
You sleep during your hour and are
not awake any more.
You rely on your might.
You must rely on My might.
A man was evil and he delighted in beating
little lambs to death.
He stood in an enclosed area on a pedestal
and he whipped them to their death.
He felt victorious. He was doing evil
deeds, he was satisfied at his evil deed done.
Satan comes in the man of vile tongue
arguing with the mild mannered ---
he wishes to control them
emotionally. He wants to abuse them and
wear them down with his words. Why
would you argue with the evil serpent ---
his tongue is vile, his pot of anger endless.
Like hungry dogs from the basement --- he
reaches out to bite the young, pure damsel
in distress. He is cunning and deceptive ---
Pray to be strong, be loving, but don't
give into the thief that comes in the night
to steal and get you off guard.
Satan is vile.
A weak man may try to control a little
one to make himself strong.
I want to write to you of the joys
I bring to you, the sparkle in the eyes of
children, the love of husband and wife, the
joy of being rooted in My love, the peace of
heart for love for God and love between
friends. I want your hearts pure so on
Christmas you will make a soft little
bed for Me to rest in you, My pure and
tender heart, I long for your love, I long
for the nights of love when you lay to rest
and speak to Me and meditate on My life,
My love given for you and for all, I love you
to meditate on My Power, My Greatness, My
Kindness, My love.
But the thief comes like the night caller
at the door, on the phone. Power struggles can
keep weak men stuck in their crime. They feel
weak inside, they look for one to dominate
and control.
One of pure heart, knows the strength I bring
to them. I want your undaunted love, your
attentiveness as My bride, you rely on Me at
every moment. You give up any pride to think
you are handling things by your own might ---
you give glory to God for the works done through
you. You are a vessel --- one in which I can
operate. No one has power over you, no one
has power over Me.
My power is endless. You see your plugs
and you plug in your lights and your televisions
and you say --- Oh the power is there ---
But hark a power failure and the city lies
in darkness. The plug can become useless if the
power ceases to come from the mother source.
MY POWER NEVER RUNS OUT !!
NO ONE HAS POWER OVER ME !
Let Me refresh your memory, a man called wolf
to get attention --- he called in the night, he
played games on the phones, he called, and he hung
up the phone, his mode was to "harass" to "control"
to distract. He sent messages by day, ugly messages
that were showing his power.
I watch the little fish swim in the sea.
February 3, 1994
R. The King of Glory is in His house. All have left. (Talking and indifference after Communion and He is so close!)
Jesus: I am the King of Glory. I am God. You are here in this House. You are in My presence. You, who are unworthy to tie My shoe!
R. This morning I thought my relationship with Jesus could be compared to my loving our one-inch fish. It seems so silly! Such power and such ignorance! I could see God, bothering with little us! We had some bad fish once. There was a fish that chased the others and bit them. We got rid of the fish. Why let the fish hurt the good fish? It was a little, tiny fish, but so brassy to be so mean in front of us when we could snatch him up in a second and put him in the sink!
This is the King of Glory. Such honor and dignity is his due! We have made light of His majesty. We have made ourselves our own gods. We see this world as an end in itself, yet He sits on His throne and watches us as we watched the fish. We are busy about our lives and pay no mind to Him Who cares for us and watches us. The fish would die if we didn't feed them. They would die if we put poison in their water. They need us to oversee the tank. Likewise we do not see the eyes of God as He watches us like little fish. Busy. Busy doing what? Where are you going? In one second He can snatch us from the tank and put us in the sink!
Who has the power, the fish or the person who owns the fish? Do we have any power at all? In one second He can steal our breath away. Somehow, in our blindness, all of us still know that a force mightier than ourselves holds the reins. But such stupidity to think we have control!
Oh, Lord, who are we that You, God, even give us concern? You, in your might, not only give us concern, but such intense and great love! It is as my loving my fish--such imbalance! But He Who is such a Good God loved us to His death! He loves us this way this very day. Why does He love us? He is such a good God! Who are we that He is so good to us? Ought we not bow down low in such great honor to Him Who sustains us and loves us? He is worthy of all honor and all praise. He is, indeed, the King of Glory. Praise His Name. Bow before Him. Kiss his sanctuary, for we are unworthy of His presence!
Yet, He-HE-dwells within us. He comes to us in such a humble way in Communion. He comes to our sinful bodies and He gives us such dignity and honor. He comes in our bodies and we show him indifference. Wake up to the true presence of God-made Man, coming here into your hearts, sitting as a prisoner in the tabernacle for love of you! And you swim your busy lives away, just as the fish must swim by this rock and that rock.
All that matters are His cares, His work for us. We are so blind. Wake up! This life is but a fleeting moment. We are being tried for the great reward. Come and worship. Bow down before the King. He is mighty and has all the power. We are doing useless tasks and wearing ourselves out. He is the true treasure. Only the things of God are of any account.
Alleluia. Praise Him, the Holiest, in the Heights. Alleluia, Alleluia.

Jesus speaks: Sin entered the world.
Satan wants to isolate you, A porcupine
does not make a good friend to share a chair
with.
One who throws darts soon will find the field
around him has cleared and he stands alone.
Oh My people, I watch by day and night. A
person who is dysfunctional may try to gain power
in abusive ways.
A person very weak and alone, not loving themselves
may want to make another under them and
subject to them.
A person not having success in life may want
to have power over others or one other, he feels if
he can do things over them he has not lost his
power completely. He feels little and weak himself,
unable to stand on his own, he can project his
problems on another and in a sick way attempt
to solve his problems through this projection.
He does not see himself the wounded person ---
he see the other person wounded and he will
help them, they are sick, he sees himself as
"strong and "not wounded" because he projects
his weakness on another. He may use force,
aggravation, harassment to try to keep the
other stuck under him.
A victory for him is to beat the other emotionally to
the ground and he towers over with his whip.
Very sick, indeed, very cruel.
If the sheep was in the cage with the man with
the whip, why would he stay if the sheep could
escape.
Some people want attention and stay in
relationships that hurt them, others see themselves
too weak to fight the problem, abuse cannot be accepted
by the one on the end of a serious problem
with a person's wrath.
Loving and forgiving in married life and
relationships are essential, but a serious
problem where one person is tremendously
sick and plays terrible power-over games
with a small one must be addressed.
Size, age etc can be an issue.
Hell is a place of total isolation. The
devil wants people to get into this mode of
acting out sick behavior. A person can be
a "sniper" and kill others --- there are always
issues of inner insecurity, coupled with
hatred, weakness, anger, the person usually
lives in a mind not rooted in reality, placing
people in their movies in their head as they
so choose and acting in that world between
their ears --- which is not the "real world."
On this day of Advent, I give you these
special prayer services to pray for the priests,
the Church and the world and for healing.

Do not give into satan.
People give into satan and act in bizarre ways.
Matthew 5: 14-16
‘You are light for the world. A city built on a hill–top cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp to put it under a tub; they put it on the lamp–stand where it shines for everyone in the house. In the same way your light must shine in people’s sight, so that, seeing your good works, they may give praise to your Father in heaven.
Matthew 5: 19-20
Therefore, anyone who infringes even one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be considered the least in the kingdom of Heaven; but the person who keeps them and teaches them will be considered great in the kingdom of Heaven.
‘For I tell you, if your uprightness does not surpass that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never get into the kingdom of Heaven.
Matthew 5: 22-26
But I say this to you, anyone who is angry with a brother will answer for it before the court; anyone who calls a brother “Fool” will answer for it before the Sanhedrin; and anyone who calls him “Traitor” will answer for it in hell fire. So then, if you are bringing your offering to the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your offering there before the altar, go and be reconciled with your brother first, and then come back and present your offering. Come to terms with your opponent in good time while you are still on the way to the court with him, or he may hand you over to the judge and the judge to the officer, and you will be thrown into prison. In truth I tell you, you will not get out till you have paid the last penny.
Matthew 5: 31-32
‘It has also been said, Anyone who divorces his wife must give her a writ of dismissal. But I say this to you, everyone who divorces his wife, except for the case of an illicit marriage, makes her an adulteress; and anyone who marries a divorced woman commits adultery.
Matthew 5: 33-37
‘Again, you have heard how it was said to our ancestors, You must not break your oath, but must fulfil your oaths to the Lord. But I say this to you, do not swear at all, either by heaven, since that is God’s throne; or by earth, since that is his footstool; or by Jerusalem, since that is the city of the great King. Do not swear by your own head either, since you cannot turn a single hair white or black. All you need say is “Yes” if you mean yes, “No” if you mean no; anything more than this comes from the Evil One.
Matthew 5: 48
Do not even the gentiles do as much? You must therefore be perfect, just as your heavenly Father is perfect.’
Proverbs 23: 19-21
Listen, my child, and be wise,
and guide your heart in the way.Do not be one of those forever tippling wine
nor one of those who gorge themselves with meat;
for the drunkard and glutton impoverish themselves,
and sleepiness is clothed in rags.
Proverbs 23: 31-32
Do not gaze at wine, how red it is,
how it sparkles in the cup!
How smoothly it slips down the throat!
In the end its bite is like a serpent’s,
its sting as sharp as an adder’s.
Proverbs 24: 3-6
By wisdom a house is built,
by understanding it is made strong;
by knowledge its storerooms are filled
with riches of every kind, rare and desirable. The wise is mighty in power,
strength is reinforced by science;
for it is by strategy that you wage war,
and victory depends on having many counsellors.
Proverbs 24: 12
If you say, ‘But look, we did not know,’
will the Weigher of the heart pay no attention?
Will not the Guardian of your soul be aware
and repay you as your deeds deserve?
Proverbs 26: 11
As a dog returns to its vomit,
so a fool reverts to his folly.
Proverbs 26: 23-24
Base silver–plate on top of clay:
such are fervent lips and a wicked heart.Whoever hates may hide it in speech,
but deep within lies treachery;
Proverbs 26: 26-28
Hatred may disguise itself with guile,
to reveal its wickedness later in the assembly.Whoever digs a pit falls into it,
the stone comes back on him that rolls it.The lying tongue hates its victims,
the wheedling mouth causes ruin.
Proverbs 26: 19-21
so is anyone who lies to a companion
and then says, ‘Aren’t I amusing?’No wood, and the fire goes out;
no slanderer, and quarrelling dies down.Charcoal for live embers, wood for fire,
and the quarrelsome for kindling strife.
Proverbs 28: 1-2
The wicked flees when no one is pursuing,
the upright is bold as a lion.A country in revolt throws up many leaders:
with one person wise and experienced, you have stability.
Proverbs 28: 5
The wicked do not know what justice means,
those who seek Yahweh understand everything.

Whoever seduces the honest to evil ways
will fall into his own pit.
The blameless are the heirs to happiness.
Proverbs 28: 13
No one who conceals his sins will prosper,
whoever confesses and renounces them will find mercy.
Proverbs 28: 14
Blessed the person who is never without fear,
whoever hardens his heart will fall into distress.
Proverbs 28: 18
Whoever lives an honest life will be safe,
whoever wavers between two ways falls down in one of them.
Proverbs 28: 26
Whoever trusts his own wit is a fool,
anyone whose ways are wise will be safe.

In the sin of the wicked lies a snare,
but the upright exults and rejoices.

Ecclesiastes 10: 2
The sage’s heart leads him aright,
the fool’s leads him astray.
Ecclesiastes 10: 3
A fool walks down the road,
he has no wit—
and everyone remarks,
‘How silly he is!’
Ecclesiastes 9: 16
So I say:Wisdom is more effective
than brute force,
but the wisdom of a poor man
is not valued:
no one listens to what he has to say.
Ecclesiastes 9: 3
This is another evil among those occurring under the sun: that there should be the same fate for everyone. The human heart, however, is full of wickedness; folly lurks in our hearts throughout our lives, until we end among the dead.
Ecclesiastes 9: 5
The living are at least aware that they are going to die, but the dead know nothing whatever. No more wages for them, since their memory is forgotten.
Ecclesiastes 7: 25
But I have reached the point where, having learnt, explored and investigated wisdom and reflection, I recognise evil as being a form of madness, and folly as something stupid.
Ecclesiastes 8: 5-9
One who obeys the command
will come to no harm;
the heart of the sage
knows the right moment and verdict,
for there is a right moment
and verdict for everything;
but misfortune lies heavy upon anyone
who does not know
what the outcome will be,
no one is going to say
how things will turn out.
No one can control the wind
and stop it from blowing,
no one can control the day of death.
From war there is no escape,
no more can wickedness save the person
who commits it.I have seen all this to be so, having carefully studied everything taking place under the sun, while one person tyrannises over another to the former’s detriment.

For see, winter is past,
the rains are over and gone.‘Flowers are appearing on the earth.
The season of glad songs has come,

for our vineyards are in fruit.
Song of Songs 8: 6-7
Set me like a seal on your heart,
like a seal on your arm.
For love is strong as Death,
passion as relentless as Sheol.
The flash of it is a flash of fire,
a flame of Yahweh himself.
Love no flood can quench,
no torrents drown.
Were a man to offer all his family wealth
to buy love,
contempt is all that he would gain.
Wisdom 1: 3
Perverse thoughts, however, separate people from God,
and power, when put to the test, confounds the stupid.
Wisdom 1: 11
So beware of uttering frivolous complaints,
restrain your tongue from finding fault;
even what is said in secret has repercussions,
and a lying mouth deals death to the soul.

for uprightness is immortal.
Wisdom 2: 1
And this is the false argument they use,

there is no remedy when our end comes,
no one is known to have come back from Hades.
Wisdom 2: 3
extinguish this and the body turns to ashes,
and the spirit melts away like the yielding air.
Wisdom 2: 4
In time, our name will be forgotten,
nobody will remember what we have done;
our life will pass away like wisps of cloud,
dissolving like the mist
that the sun’s rays drive away
and that its heat dispels.
Wisdom 2: 5
For our days are the passing of a shadow,
our end is without return,
the seal is affixed and nobody comes back.
Wisdom 2: 6
Come then, let us enjoy the good things of today,
let us use created things with the zest of youth:
Wisdom 2: 9

let us leave the signs of our revelry everywhere,
since this is our portion, this our lot!
Wisdom 2: 11
Let our might be the yardstick of right,
since weakness argues its own futility.

as much to each living creature as he chose—
bestowing her on those who love him.The fear of the Lord is glory and pride,

The fear of the Lord gladdens the heart,
giving happiness, joy and long life.
Sirach 1: 23-24
A patient person puts up with things until the right time comes:
but his joy will break out in the end.
Till the time comes he keeps his thoughts to himself,
and many a lip will affirm how wise he is.
