December 1st Holy Spirit Novena |
The Novena Rosary
Mysteries |
Pray for Chuck & other intentions.
Consecration Prayer for Peace
I consecrate Russia and the Ukraine to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
I further consecrate the priests, the Church and the world to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary.
I do this in the name of Jesus in as far as I am able, united to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, praying to the Father, in the Holy Spirit, with all the angels and saints and the souls in purgatory through the powerful intercession of Mary, Queen of Peace. Amen.
I further consecrate myself, all members of my family and ask the Holy Spirit to fill us. I spread the Blood of Jesus on all above, I cast the devil into hell away from all of us and consecrate all persons, in as far as I am able, to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart.
Prayer for Grace for our Country
Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our president and leaders. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.
November 30, 2022
Praying and realizing how
many people gave us so
much.
Teachers who cared and
gave us what they knew.
There was a song we used
to listen to and sang
Thank you for giving to the
Lord.
Thank you God, for all the
years you gave me life, my
family, descendants etc.
What purpose does self-
pity serve when some
never smell the roses.
Roses smell so sweet and
their fragrance varies-
different varieties.
I remember as a child of 5
in the funeral home
smelling the roses. I kind of
disliked them after that
because it reminded me of
mom being laid out.
But then I realized when
Mary started appearing, it
was a strong sign of her
presence and I loved the
smell again.
God uses smells
sometimes in special gifts
He gives to let us know
how close He is to us.
There is the odor of
sanctity.
Faith tells us we don’t have
to see to believe.
God is near. The Father,
Son and Holy Ghost dwell
in the graced baptized soul.
Deep interior union with the
presence of God.
Waking up inside to God
we do not see, but know
deeply His presence, His
friendship.
God knows my heart, my
motives, my love, my focus
on the big picture I see
interiorly in my heart and
soul.
Body, mind and spirit!!!!
I am alive, more and more,
in Him. Life is in Him.
Presence of God in my
soul.
I hear the wind, but do not
see it, but it is there, I can
see it rumble and the trees
move in the breeze, but I do
not see the wind.
I can see how the city
sleeps beneath a cloak of
darkness, when lightening
strikes and for a split
second lights the sleeping
sky.
It’s almost mystical., how
lightening changes our vision
of the sleeping city.
Can you imagine how
grace, His life in us can
change the spiritual vision
in our soul. Waking our
hearts and intellects into
deeper knowing and
understanding of the
Divine Mysteries.
This is without our eyeballs.
Interior sight, deep in our
soul. Thunder can rumble,
is it actual thunder or how it
is acting on things as it
passes in the night and
how does lightening light
the night sky.
How does a soul filled more
and more with grace hold
on so deeply to what it
experiences inside, but
doesn’t see at all.
I know You God in My
relationship with You in my
being and my heart and my
soul; reality is in God and
He is there, so strong in
presence, but I may not see
Him with my eyes at all.
The thunder rumbles
and the wind blows, but do I
ever, actually see the wind
or just
what it moves as it skirts
about.
The mystery of Christ is
known deep in my soul and
yet, I may not see a thing
with my eye balls,
Body, Mind and Soul in me.
God fills me more and more
and someday if we go to
heaven, we will have the
fullness of life.
Now we pray:
Come to me Lord and
possess my soul.
Fill me with Your life in
me( Your grace)
I am yours Lord, I want to
have my life in You.
I want to do the will of the
Father.
Come and fill my soul.
I am Yours Lord, I want to
have my life in You.
Come and possess my
soul.
Amen.
November 29, 2022 Glorious Mysteries
Resurrection
1.Jesus rose from the dead
as He foretold.
2.Jesus came out of the
tomb.
3. God created us in His
image and likeness.
4. Are we ‘lift-up’ people
that help others to be as
God wants them to be.
5. When a person makes
bitterness their main
agenda, it takes them down
and not up.
6. We, in the Church, are
the body of Christ, Christ is
the head of the body. Christ
lifts us up. We are to help
each other. What happens
if the kidneys become
sick? What we do in a family
that is mean and punishing,
effects everyone in the
family.
7. In a family if a person
loves and thinks of helping
others, the family is lifted
up, the family is productive
and grows.
8. If in the family one
member is bitter, trying to
bring down other members
in the family, while they
stay in a dark self-
defeating hole- they hurt
the whole family, with their
agenda to work out their
bitterness on others and
bring others down through
holding out and punishing
ways.
9. This punishment of
others, holding out, making
things a trick, can become
a habit, a life’s- work that
should have been to build
up the Kingdom of God.
10. We pray for situations
like this, of trying to drag
other righteous one’s down.
Bitterness and unloving
punishment and games is
not Jesus’ way. Jesus way
is to live United as a body,
helping one another, and
spreading the Good News
of Jesus.
What we do to others, we
do to Jesus. In people who
had near death
experiences, many
reported seeing a light, a
tunnel and then Jesus. He
asked them “How did you
love others?”
Ascension
1. Jesus took the Apostles
out to a town near Bethany,
He raised His arms and
ascended into heaven and
a cloud took Him out of
sight.
2. We are social beings
created this way by God. If
the kidney fails it hurts the
whole body.
3. A person in a family that
wants to hold out and
punish others for their own
bitterness and anger is
effecting those that they
were called by God to love,
lift up, work with, support.
It is darkness to decide to
try to hurt others and bring
them down.
4.We are to lift others up,
not make it our life's work
to try to take others down
in a hole of bitterness
and anger we nurse like a
trophy.
5. The righteous man
cannot let this unloving,
negative
behavior direct our calling
by God to love and spread
the Good News and help
build the Kingdom of God.
6.We see Jesus took the
Apostles out together and
ascended into heaven.
7. God puts us in families, a
little Church, to work
together to have a safe,
loving environment in
which children learn the
truth, learn to love, eat and
work together, have fun
together, share joy and
suffering together, learn
about obedience, structure
and respect for authority.
8. God sends blessings to
communities and families
that live in love, in unity,
There is a Scripture verse
about love and fear in the
Holy Spirit Novena Sciptures first
set. Love casts out fear.
9. This Movement,
Shepherd's of Christ
focuses on Consecration to
the Hearts of Jesus and
Mary.
10. If I give my heart to
Jesus and Mary and you
give your heart to Jesus
and Mary, we are United as
the members of a body
should be. One in Their
Hearts.
I give my heart to Jesus
and Mary with you in love.
Descent of the Holy Spirit on Mary and the Apostles.
1.The Holy Spirit
descended on Mary and
the Apostles in the form of
tongues on Pentecost.
2. The Apostles were
transformed from fear to
fearlessness as the Holy
Spirit filled them.
3. Oh God, You are so Good
to us. God wants to bless
us and help us and the
Holy Spirit leads the way.
4. The evil Spirit wants to
get us to disobey God and
do our own will and be
unloving
And the evil spirit lies.
Evil hurts others and is
working to bring God's plan
down, to fail, to destroy.
5. The devil wants to rule.
He wants disobedience to
God.
The devil said, I will not
serve God. The devil
rebelled against God.
6. The first commandment
tells us God must be first in
our lives.
7. God is love. God is light.
God created us to be lights,
to lift others up, to have
unity and relationships of
faithfulness, unity, truth and
love.
To be true to our word.
8.We should ask others to help us.
Get people who can help
us to do so. God is all in all.
9. The devil wants men
to divide, to isolate, to work to
bring others down.
The devil wants to rule, he
wants games, holding
back.
The devil wants people to
create confusion,
disharmony, to think they
know everything
themselves.
10.St. Ignatius talks about
the two camps
One camp is where Jesus
is King and people work for
Jesus,
The other camp is where
Satan wants to rule and
Satan works to get people
to oppose God and work to
build up his kingdom
opposed to God.
Assumption
1. When her life was over on
earth, Mary was taken body
and soul into heaven.
2. Mary is the New Eve she
crushes the head of Satan.
3. Jesus is the New Adam,
Jesus died obeying His
Father's will to His death on
the cross.
4. God created us and
wants us to go to heaven
eternally, our true home.
5. Mary is our model. Mary
is the most perfect disciple
of Jesus.
6.We see Mary lifted up.
We see Jesus ascended
into heaven.
We are here to prepare for
our eternal salvation in
heaven.
We are here to love.
God is love.
When we die, God will ask
us "how did we love"?
7.Oh God help us to live
virtuously and to go to
heaven one day. Help us to
be witnesses of the Good
News.
8. Sing: Immaculate Mary.
9.Mary is our spiritual
Mother. Mary has powerful
intercession.
Mary wants us to go to
heaven.
10.Fr. Carters message on
the Holy Spirit. Find in Tell
My People.
The Holy Spirit works with
Mary helping us to be more
like Jesus.
Mary is Queen of heaven and earth
1.Mary is Queen of Heaven
and Earth.
2.We are to imitate Christ
and to live according to the
Gospel.
3.When we live the Gospel
we will help to build the
Kingdom of God and lift
others up.
4. The Gospel is the Book
of Life. Life is in Jesus.
5.There are 3 stages of the
Church.
Church triumphant- the
saints pray for us when we
ask them.
Church suffering: the souls
in purgatory can pray for
us, but we need to pray for
them too.
Pilgrim Church, Church of
those on earth.
6.We need our hearts
burning with love. God
wants us to be saints and
go to heaven some day.
7. Sing: Hail Holy Queen.
8. Sing: Eye has not seen.
9. Sing: Song from Jesus.
10. Sing: A Priest is a gift
from God.
Thank you God for each
other, for all your gifts to
help lift us up.
Dear God thank you for
Shepherds of Christ and
these rosary meditations
and the Holy Spirit Prayers,
the Shepherds of Christ
Prayers, the Morning
Offerings and the
messages of Jesus and
Mary.
Thank you for the hierarchy
and the priests and the
Church.
Thank you for our life, for
Your Mother Mary, Our Lady
of Clearwater.
Thank you for the
Sacraments.
Oh God, You are so good to
us.
Amen.
God is so awesome!!
The devil wants to always
lower the dignity God gives
each of us.
Fr. Joe said, new book,
”How does all this fit
together and have any
meaning for us?
Note:
The common denominator
is the temptation to treat
God as less than God.
Compromising with the
ways of the world is a
continuing seduction.
We constantly need to be
grateful that we have a
great high priest who
knows what it is to be
tempted, who will help
us resist temptation, and by
his grace, to help us show
by our lives we
acknowledge that only God
is God.

Guiding Light homily series — Reflect on the Word — Cycle B The Word leaves an impression on our souls. In my thoughts and reflections are born a more tangible understanding of these eternal concepts presented in the Gospels and the readings. Anyone can read a sentence, but not anyone can absorb it's true meaning. Truth, in this day and age, is almost a matter of opinion or individual entitlement. We believe that Christ's truth is our Roman Catholic Church. We, as priests, champion it's teachings; we are ambassadors for the Pope and Christ to those faces looking at us. We are the light by which our congregation reads to reflect upon real truth and we do it hand in hand. $10 |
Guiding Light homily series — Steadfast to the Son — Cycle A The sunflower is a great example of how we should be steadfastly guided by light. What a powerful thought that this exceptional plant is not stuck in one pose day in and day out, yet adaptable and magnetized to the sun. We feel the same about our Son. Our heads turns to face Christ as each day presents its challenges to find light. We join together like plants in a field and soak up the Son through the pulpit. We are a warm circle of strength using the wind of our breath to carry our priests' words, Christ's words, to new rich soil. $10 |
Guiding Light — Focusing on the Word — Cycle B At times we may feel that our path to Christ is a bit "out of focus". Like the disciples in the Book of Mark, this ordinary life clouds our vision of Christ's Divinity. We may doubt the practicality or possibility of applying His teachings and example to our modern life. Cycle B's homilies are a "guiding light" to help us realize Jesus' Messianic greatness and His promise of better things to come. $10 |
Guiding Light — Feed My Soul — Cycle C In a world rapidly advancing and encouraging personal gain, we are faced with modern problems. There is a challenge to find time in our busy schedules for Sunday Mass or a family meal. We are able to research, shop, bank and even work without hearing one human voice. It is no wonder that we may often feel disconnected and famished at our week's end. In Fr. Joe's third book of homilies from Cycle C, we are reminded of the charity that Christ intended us to show each other. We have a calling to turn the other cheek and be the Good Samaritan to others. We are rewarded with the Father's kingdom and love when we are not worthy. We are not left alone or hungry. $10 |
