Jesus speaks: I was beaten, I was bloodied,
I walked on to the hill of Calvary
there I mounted the cross —
there I died for you.
You were surrounded by darkness
at the rosary so you could
do as I asked, without distraction,
pray with this intensity —
turn off the distractions around you,
inside of you.
A lady bought a new couch —
she had it delivered —
then said she, I will have
a place for people to sit
and talk, a place for me to be
alone, I will have a place to rest —
I have prepared the way.
I have given to you a garden, I
have prepared the soil, the
purpose is set, it is like
the woman with the couch —
she had a purpose for the couch —
Now it may turn out no one comes
and rests on the couch and
she herself may never take
time to recline and take rest
the purpose for which she
bought the couch seems to be lost.
I have prepared the garden, but if
no one comes to till the soil and plant it
may never produce a sprout
of life.
I give you the earth and its fullnesses —
some never go into the garden I
provide.
A man was given the land to plant
a fruitful vine. Instead of
going into the garden he traveled
to a local bar, there he sat,
there he drank beer. Day after
day he told himself — tomorrow
I will go to the garden, but every day
he got up, avoided the path to the
garden and stumbled down the
same road to the bar.
At night fall he again passed the
road to the garden telling
himself one more time
"one more day and then I will
go to the garden and plant
some fruit"
He never planted a seed —
he never entered the garden —
he never had any fruit.
When night turns to morning
the eyes of some may cry —
oh so short was the night —
others may cry oh so long
another sleepless night —
others may jump from the bed
and run into the field
their pockets filled with
the seeds of a new day —
some may carry empty pockets,
passing the garden and sowing
seeds of darkness on the
barren soil.
Well I watch you like little
men, play on the surface of
the earth —
Some see only the flat surface they
are on as their end.
A man had an old game, it had
little figures that would
turn on with a switch and
they would scramble — some
going toward the goal, others
staying in the same space,
just vibrating and vibrating
until the game was once again
turned off. Some fell over
and vibrated in the same spot
on their sides.
Now I tell you, reach for the sky
above, quit digging a hole
for yourself and getting in.
Holes can be dark and very
limiting. Why does the
guy — dig the hole and then
jump in at record speed?
He doesn't see the whole picture.
A woman in labor can experience
the final pains in anguish —
feeling ready to give up from
the pain she may say — oh
give me relief and the doctor
who can see may say
"Woman you are ready to
give birth, hang in there,
one, two more pains at
the most and the baby
will be born"
but all she knows with the
anguishing pain is a
desire for it to stop and
she cries out — can't
you help me — stop this —
The doctor seeing clearly from
above wants to hold her
hand and say "oh lady
soon you will hold the
baby in your arms and your
pain be forgotten."
Satan is trying to press on you in
your lives — he works in others to
get others to press down —
they may be innocent and lay
a straw of heavy weight to
an already heavy load —
any amount of weight may feel
like a burden of tremendous
weight — to one who is heavily
burdened and pressed down
on.
A man carried a load on his back
and could barely move —
soon a bigger man came
with a heavy hand and began
applying pressure to the
man's back, his load was
not only so heavy, an added
force came pressing down
on the load and he could
hardly move against the
resistance. He looked like
a man struggling and almost going
no where.
I carried My cross, despite its burden,
I moved until I fell under its
weight, but I got up and continued
until the end.
In God's Blue Book I the second paragraph
of the first message states
"You must stay rooted in Me to ward off
the power of the evil one. His grip is paralyzing
and crippling. His power is stronger every day."
Cling to Me, feel My presence —
I am your God.
I watch you like scampering mice
move above at such speeds and
I hear many old ones say — is that
all there is as they travel to
their second homes to play golf,
party and what have you.
If you could see yourselves! !
One day and it has ended, you are
on a journey to another place.
A man always traveled from one
place to another making it
long and difficult —
he spent his time telling all of
his difficult pass.
Another man traveled directly
and got the job done.
A third man, never moved — he
played at his port and
never even left — so he
could have pleasure here
and now. Momentary pleasure —
no advancement, stuck
like a bug in a rolled rug.
Stuck, Stuck, Stuck I tell
you — like digging a hole
at the beginning of the race
and crawling in.
Oh the disappointments of the
one digging the hole, they do not
experience the garden, they
do not see the blue skies,
they do not go anywhere — they
cry from their hole
"Is anyone up there and
they hear little real
hope from above
the hole"
Come out into the world — walk
the path, plant the seeds —
meditate on My life —
I carried My cross to the
end, there I mounted it
and I died for you.
On the 3rd day I rose
from the dead.
Matthew 13: 1-23
That same day, Jesus left the house and sat by the lakeside, but such large crowds gathered round him that he got into a boat and sat there. The people all stood on the shore, and he told them many things in parables.
He said,'Listen, a sower went out to sow. As he sowed, some seeds fell on the edge of the path, and the birds came and ate them up. Others fell on patches of rock where they found little soil and sprang up at once, because there was no depth of earth; but as soon as the sun came up they were scorched and, not having any roots, they withered away. Others fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up and choked them. Others fell on rich soil and produced their crop, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. Anyone who has ears should listen!
Then, the disciples went up to him and asked, 'Why do you talk to them in parables?' In answer, he said,'Because to you is granted to understand the mysteries of the kingdom of Heaven, but to them it is not granted. Anyone who has will be given more and will have more than enough; but anyone who has not will be deprived even of what he has. The reason I talk to them in parables is that they look without seeing and listen without hearing or understanding. So in their case what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah is being fulfilled:
Listen and listen, but never understand!
Look, and look, but never perceive!
This people's heart has grown coarse,
their ears dulled,
they have shut their eyes tight
to avoid using their eyes to see,
their ears to hear,
their heart to understand,
changing their ways
and being healed by me.'But blessed are your eyes because they see, your ears because they hear! In truth I tell you, many prophets and upright people longed to see what you see, and never saw it; to hear what you hear, and never heard it.
'So pay attention to the parable of the sower. When anyone hears the word of the kingdom without understanding, the Evil One comes and carries off what was sown in his heart: this is the seed sown on the edge of the path. The seed sown on patches of rock is someone who hears the word and welcomes it at once with joy. But such a person has no root deep down and does not last; should some trial come, or some persecution on account of the word, at once he falls away. The seed sown in thorns is some one who hears the word, but the worry of the world and the lure of riches choke the word and so it produces nothing. And the seed sown in rich soil is someone who hears the word and understands it; this is the one who yields a harvest and produces now a hundredfold, now sixty, now thirty.'
Philippians 4: 10-19
As for me, I am full of joy in the Lord, now that at last your consideration for me has blossomed again; though I recognise that you really did have consideration before, but had no opportunity to show it. I do not say this because I have lacked anything; I have learnt to manage with whatever I have. I know how to live modestly, and I know how to live luxuriously too: in every way now I have mastered the secret of all conditions: full stomach and empty stomach, plenty and poverty. There is nothing I cannot do in the One who strengthens me. All the same, it was good of you to share with me in my hardships. In the early days of the gospel, as you of Philippi well know, when I left Macedonia, no church other than yourselves made common account with me in the matter of expenditure and receipts. You were the only ones; and what is more, you have twice sent me what I needed in Thessalonica. It is not the gift that I value most; what I value is the interest that is mounting up in your account. I have all that I need and more: I am fully provided, now that I have received from Epaphroditus the offering that you sent, a pleasing smell, the sacrifice which is acceptable and pleasing to God. And my God will fulfil all your needs out of the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.
1 Corinthians 15: 20-28
In fact, however, Christ has been raised from the dead, as the first–fruits of all who have fallen asleep. As it was by one man that death came, so through one man has come the resurrection of the dead. Just as all die in Adam, so in Christ all will be brought to life; but all of them in their proper order: Christ the first–fruits, and next, at his coming, those who belong to him. After that will come the end, when he will hand over the kingdom to God the Father, having abolished every principality, every ruling force and power. For he is to be king until he has made his enemies his footstool, and the last of the enemies to be done away with is death, for he has put all things under his feet. But when it is said everything is subjected, this obviously cannot include the One who subjected everything to him. When everything has been subjected to him, then the Son himself will be subjected to the One who has subjected everything to him, so that God may be all in all.
1 Corinthians 15: 50-58
What I am saying, brothers, is that mere human nature cannot inherit the kingdom of God: what is perishable cannot inherit what is imperishable. Now I am going to tell you a mystery: we are not all going to fall asleep, but we are all going to be changed, instantly, in the twinkling of an eye, when the last trumpet sounds. The trumpet is going to sound, and then the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed, because this perishable nature of ours must put on imperishability, this mortal nature must put on immortality.
And after this perishable nature has put on imperishability and this mortal nature has put on immortality, then will the words of scripture come true: Death is swallowed up in victory. Death, where is your victory? Death, where is your sting? The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin comes from the Law. Thank God, then, for giving us the victory through Jesus Christ our Lord.
So, my dear brothers, keep firm and immovable, always abounding in energy for the Lord’s work, being sure that in the Lord none of your labours is wasted.
Revelation 19: 1-10
After this I heard what seemed to be the great sound of a huge crowd in heaven, singing, ‘Alleluia! Salvation and glory and power to our God! He judges fairly, he punishes justly, and he has condemned the great prostitute who corrupted the earth with her prostitution; he has avenged the blood of his servants which she shed.’ And again they sang, "Alleluia! The smoke of her will rise for ever and ever.’ Then the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures threw themselves down and worshipped God seated on his throne, and they cried, ‘Amen, Alleluia.’
Then a voice came from the throne; it said, ‘Praise our God, you servants of his and those who fear him, small and great alike.’ And I heard what seemed to be the voices of a huge crowd, like the sound of the ocean or the great roar of thunder, answering, ‘Alleluia! The reign of the Lord our God Almighty has begun; let us be glad and joyful and give glory to God, because this is the time for the marriage of the Lamb. His bride is ready, and she has been able to dress herself in dazzling white linen, because her linen is made of the good deeds of the saints.’ The angel said, ‘Write this, "Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding feast of the Lamb," ’ and he added, ‘These words of God are true.’ Then I knelt at his feet to worship him, but he said to me, ‘Never do that: I am your fellow–servant and the fellow–servant of all your brothers who have in themselves the witness of Jesus. God alone you must worship.’ The witness of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
Acts 1: 1-12
In my earlier work, Theophilus, I dealt with everything Jesus had done and taught from the beginning until the day he gave his instructions to the apostles he had chosen through the Holy Spirit, and was taken up to heaven. He had shown himself alive to them after his Passion by many demonstrations: for forty days he had continued to appear to them and tell them about the kingdom of God. While at table with them, he had told them not to leave Jerusalem, but to wait there for what the Father had promised. ‘It is’, he had said, ‘what you have heard me speak about: John baptised with water but, not many days from now, you are going to be baptised with the Holy Spirit.’
Now having met together, they asked him, ‘Lord, has the time come for you to restore the kingdom to Israel?’ He replied, ‘It is not for you to know times or dates that the Father has decided by his own authority, but you will receive the power of the Holy Spirit which will come on you, and then you will be my witnesses not only in Jerusalem but throughout Judaea and Samaria, and indeed to earth’s remotest end.’
As he said this he was lifted up while they looked on, and a cloud took him from their sight. They were still staring into the sky as he went, when suddenly two men in white were standing beside them, and they said, ‘Why are you Galileans standing here looking into the sky? This Jesus who has been taken up from you into heaven will come back in the same way as you have seen him go to heaven.’
So from the Mount of Olives, as it is called, they went back to Jerusalem, a short distance away, no more than a Sabbath walk;
Where Will You Go On the Day of Reckoning? (Excerpt)
December 5, 1993 - 5:10a.m.
Jesus speaks: Oh, silly! A few years? For what? You don't get anything here but heartache, momentary pleasure that leaves you empty, so you numb your hearts with TV or alcohol or food or sex. It lasts only a moment, but you numb the craving in the soul. Oh, poor starved little ones, your soul can only be fed by Me. You are starving yourself to death. Your soul is withering and dying. Your victory is already won by Me Who died a brutal death for love of you! Come to Me. I knock at the door. Will you open or will you run amok down roads that lead to emptiness. On that day of reckoning when I, in all My pursuits of your soul and My saddened heart, finally have to turn you away and say, "I do not know you. I pursued you your whole life. I stood by your side. I walked by you the whole way and you never turned your head. You looked for your glory here and I waited and waited. I sent others to show you the way to the golden reward but you laughed and continued in your willfulness to the barren desert."
Oh, child, I love you. Many have prayed and sacrificed for you but you would not turn your hearts to Me. I am the way, the truth and the life. All other roads lead to destruction of the soul. My ways are not easy, but they are filled with peace, love and joy. My ways are everlasting. Your soul craves this union with Me. You are fighting off that which your soul thirsts after. It doesn't feel good, but you close your eyes and numb your craving. Oh, turn to Me and find rest, My little ones, now before it is too late! I am as close as your breath.

How Will You Write the Life of Your Soul
December 5, 1993 - 6:00 a.m.
Jesus speaks: Come, come, beloved of My Father. What can I do to get you to turn your wills toward Me? You have a free will. You choose your destiny. Will it be Me or your own destruction? When you sin you are hardened in heart. It feels very bad but you justify your actions. Your hearts have turned into stone and your eyes are covered with rags and you see nothing before you.
Oh, little ones, no one can reach you. My heart laments your thirsty little souls and I cry to you as one Who suffered a brutal death for love of you. And your ears! You have plugged them up and you wander in darkness on a useless path toward your own destruction.
Come, please come to Me. I am so loving. I have so many gifts to give you. I forgive the greatest sins and you are made free and filled with such love. Come, oh open your gates to Me. Let Me in. I tell you this life is but a breath in the scoop of eternity. Knowing Me is not going to church on Sunday with a closed heart. Knowing Me is living your life in Me every minute of the day. To know Me is such a reward. I am so loving and good to you. I fill you with peace and love and joy. Even in trials you are at peace. I lament your love. Please turn to Me. I am an ardent lover waiting by your side. I never move, even in the darkest hours of your life. It is you who have chosen such darkness. My ways are light, even in suffering. To know Me is to walk a lighted path. To be absent of Me is to live in darkness. I love you, little ones. Turn your wills to Me. Satan has a strong bind on you if I am not part of your life. You have become his slave and you think you are free. You are being held captive by Satan. You are not free. True freedom comes from knowing Me! What can I say that I have not said? It is your choice. You choose your own destiny. You are the author of your soul. How will you write the life of your soul? If you are to have life eternal, you must write your biography according to God. To write your own book is to lead to a bad seller. It will never go to the house of the Lord. It will go to the tomb of destruction. I am the Good Shepherd. I lead My sheep and they follow Me. I hold them in My arms and comfort them on their way. I am loving and I care for them. Some go astray and I lament their passing because I care for them the same as those who follow Me, but they are willful and follow their own whims and they fall off a cliff and are destroyed. I lament the loss of My little sheep, but they choose their fate and I tried all I could to save them.
Oh, little ones, you choose your fate and all My promptings will not change your willful ways. But your willful ways will lead you to everlasting damnation. I can say no more.
Say the Our Father and listen to every word. It says all you need.
I love you so. Jesus Christ, your Savior!

Death - Resurrection
Excerpt from Mass Book
January 2, 1997
"In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen."
"The grace of Our Lord, Jesus Christ, and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all."
God pours out His grace in this Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. It is the greatest gift when God gives Himself to us.
We share with God His life, given to us abundantly in the Mass.
He gives Himself to us and we give ourselves to Him. The great love affair between God and man: His Holy Mass.
The priest is another Christ to us. It is Christ present, through the priest, celebrating the Mass. We must see Christ in the priest, see Him celebrate the Mass, see His beautiful brown hair, His gentle face, see Him, our Savior. This Jesus Christ that came was born an infant and gave Himself to His death on the cross that we would share His life. See Him now in the Mass, giving Himself in the greatest gift of all. He gives us His divine love and His divine life.
Oh, we thank You for Your life. We know Jesus died and rose and gave us a sharing in His holy life. His life is now abundantly poured, as a fountain to us, especially in the Mass.
Then we hear His word. Let the word of God penetrate our being. Let us feel this Living Word of God. As a two-edged sword, it comes forth with such conviction and love and it penetrates the souls of the faithful with such love. It is food indeed, food for our soul.
He is the Good Shepherd. He speaks to us. He gives us all we want. "Yahweh is my shepherd, I lack nothing." (Ps. 23:1)
He gives us green pastures, and His water pours out and refreshes us. He outpours His grace as a fountain to feed us with His life.
He is a just God, good and kind, all loving, for He is Love. We want for nothing for He outpours His love and His life to us in the Mass. We feast on His Body and Blood and are fed with His Word. We become one in Him and He shares Himself with us.
It is through the Mass celebrated by the hands of a holy priest that we will experience the Mass the way Christ intends. These writings are insights which hopefully will help lead you to the spring of life-giving water, the fountain of love and life He outpours in the Mass.
There will be a new earth when men will see with the light of seven suns. They will know God. A people walking in darkness will see a great light. They will no longer be blind, they will be enlightened, they will love God with the greatest love in the Mass. They will feast on His Body and Blood and will be united as one body in His holy Church through His life given to us in the Eucharist.
We will drink copiously from the fountain of grace which He pours out in the Mass. We will be filled with His love, absorbed with the love of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and feasting on His divine life.
We see with the vision of God. We partake in such a union with God. We see with the light the Spirit gives to us. The priest celebrates the Mass and we know God with such an intense knowing in this union. We are saturated with His life flowing from the hands of His consecrated priest.
And I look at Him, the priest, and I see Jesus there. I see Him giving Himself to Me. I see the new and Holy City. I see with such clarity the great gift that God gives to us in the Mass!
We learn how to love in the Mass, for we unite to God. He gives us such an intimate sharing in His divine love that we carry His love out to the world. In this union we know His loving to an intense degree and we carry this love out to others. We share in an intense way in His divine act of loving. He, Who is love, gives Himself to us and we are absorbed in His love and we know intensely how God loves. We are filled with love for God and for each other, for, in the oneness He is loving through us. He gives us lights into His loving capacity and we know His loving power in an intensity we did not know before.
We then pray. We offer up our intentions for this Mass. It is now we who intercede to Him to outpour His grace on us and help us with these intentions.
We pray for this reign of peace when the Sacred Heart of Jesus will reign and the Immaculate Heart of Mary will triumph and men will fervently love and adore God with burning love. We pray for all souls and the Church and we beg for His help, His love, His grace.
We offer ourselves as a sacrifice. We offer the bread that will become the bread of life.
The priest mixes the water and the wine and we realize how His Divinity mixes with our humanity.
We offer the wine that will become our spiritual drink-His blood.
I give myself to Him and I beg to be cleansed of my sins with the washing of the hands.
"May the Lord accept the sacrifice at your hands for the praise and glory of His name, for our good and the good of all His Church."
We ask Him to accept the gifts we want to give Him, we give Him thanks, we lift up our hearts in thanks and praise and we sing out:
"Holy, Holy God, of power and might…" we sing Him praise and thank Him-oh, God we love Thee so much."
My heart is so filled with such awe. I cry because I love Him so much.
Every word in the Mass, I love. The priest consecrates the host and changes it into the Body and Blood of Christ.
Oh, it makes me cry for I am so struck with awe at what happens at the Consecration. I unite in the oneness with the priest, with Christ and with all present, with heaven and earth. I am one in that moment, united in the sacrifice of Christ giving Himself to the Father.
This is the moment when I unite in such oneness with Christ in the purity of Mary's heart. I give myself as a sacrifice. I offer myself to the Father.
The Father looks down and He sees us united to His Son's Sacrifice. It is in this oneness that His grace is outpoured on us, that we die to that which is not like Him and that the Holy Spirit works in the heart of Mary and fills us with His life.
I am in ecstasy as I realize more and more the great gift of love that God gives us in His holy Mass. I am taken to such heights, being wrapped in the presence of God. It is rapture, this Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.
It is a great gift, experiencing this intense presence of the Almighty God: Through Him, With Him, and In Him.
We pray to the Father the prayer as Jesus taught us and beg, "thy Kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven."
We pray: "For the Kingdom, the power and the glory are yours, now and forever."
We beg for peace in our hearts. We share this peace with one another. Then we beg of the Lamb of God. I want to get down to the ground and beg for His grace, mercy and forgiveness for our sins.
Please, God, I see us as a sinful people. I want the grace and mercy to flow abundantly.
He raises the Host and says: "This is the Lamb of God Who takes away the sins of the world, happy are those who are called to His supper."
We respond: "Lord, I am not worthy to receive you, but only say the word and I shall be healed."
I receive the Almighty God in Communion. All I want is Him. Oh, God, I want you, I adore you, I worship you, I love you.
Oh, for this moment when God gives Himself to me. Oh, God, words do not express this time-this intense presence of You within my being. Oh, sweet Savior, I love You!
You share Yourself so intimately with me. You imprint on my soul a knowing of Your Divine Being that is so intimate in this Communion when You give Yourself to me.
Oh, let our hearts be open to His grace that we may know this great gift more, that we will partake more fully in this greatest act of love with Divinity.
He shares Himself with us, the Almighty God, in such oneness. This is the greatest way to bind us with each other, to unite with each other in the Mass and Communion.
And so I sing the love of God, the love of His Mass. I beg you to pray for the grace that He can teach you in these writings about His most intimate love affair with man, the gift of Himself-the gift He gives us in the Mass.
The Holy Sacrifice, the sacrifice of Calvary, sacramentally-made-present in the Mass when He gives Himself to us with the greatest love!
And what does He ask in return? He asks that we love one another, that we give Him the glory, the thanksgiving, the adoration that is His due as the Almighty God.
He sends us forth with His blessing to share His most intimate love with all. We go forth as other Christs in the world. For He is alive this day and He lives in us and He gives His love to others through us. We act as channels of His life to one another.
The Mass is the richest source of His life. His life flows through the body, the Church, especially through the Sacraments and the Mass.
Oh Jesus, from the fountain of life that pours forth from Your pierced Heart, give us holy priests whose hearts are consecrated to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary to celebrate the Mass-that there is such oneness between the priest and Christ that His grace will flow copiously.
We thirst for the fountain of life pouring forth from the pierced Heart of Christ. It is His life we seek and find in the Church. It is His love we want and we experience the greatest love affair with God in the Mass.
These books on the Mass are accounts of my intimate love affair with our Almighty God. Many experiences were enlightenments I received in the Mass.
I strongly advise all to pray, to say the Holy Spirit Prayer, the Consecration Prayers, and the Prayer before the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, before Mass. (These prayers follow this message).
This book is the journey into the red room, the inner chamber of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, through the gateway, the pure and Immaculate Heart of His Mother.
It is in the Mass we give ourselves in such love to our Holy God. He gives Himself to us and we give ourselves to Him.

Jesus speaks:
Come to My Heart —
let Me bathe you in the
fire of My love.
Do not be afraid —
You will suffer —
you will rise to new life
if you stay rooted in Me —
Death - Resurrection —
Love — I love you —
come out of your holes —
look at the sky —
smell the sweet air —
see the birds how
free they fly above
you ———
clouds keep moving in the sky —
changing forms
are you like hard rock or
are you like the soft and supple
matter the Potter can
mold into My image and
likeness.
A man had a mass of clay —
it sat on the shelf his whole life
Another man had a mass of clay —
in the mind of the potter it
was transformed into a beautiful
dove — one of flight — one
so radiant in beauty all who
looked at it felt the motion and
celebrated its beauty and movement —
Oh you in your clay pots —
you dip yourselves in and never
come out to smell life's sweetness
as it really is —
A dark night can be star studded or
a dark night so eerie one sees
nothing but blackness and
feels the dampness press in
close to the bone.
A day I give you with the sun to
shine on you and at night a moon
of radiant light —

your holy seed — don't stick

smashed crackers she took
with her for the baby —
The baby never got the nice crackers
and the woman now dumped
her crumbs in a latrine —
Oh you who cover your eyes with
rags —
Oh you who give into pride, jealousy
and lust —
I watch you —
Some are so angry —
you look like little figures
vibrating on a stage and then
some fall over and vibrate
on their sides
LIFE IS FOUND IN
ME AND NONE
OF YOU CAN PROMOTE
My Kingdom in a HOLE —
You have to get out and work to
over come your imperfections
and work with others in their
imperfections —
You must walk hand in hand
in love —
You are not perfect —
You are to work to become
more perfected —
You are to love —
Luke 8: 16-18
‘No one lights a lamp to cover it with a bowl or to put it under a bed. No, it is put on a lamp–stand so that people may see the light when they come in. For nothing is hidden but it will be made clear, nothing secret but it will be made known and brought to light. So take care how you listen; anyone who has, will be given more; anyone who has not, will be deprived even of what he thinks he has.’

by Father Edward Carter, S.J.
1 The Mystery of Christ and
Christian Existence...In reference to Christianity, God himself is the ultimate mystery. Radically, God is completely other and transcendent, hidden from man in his inner life, unless he chooses to reveal himself. Let us briefly look at this inner life of God.
The Father, in a perfect act of self-expression, in a perfect act of knowing, generates his son. The Son, the Word, is, then, the immanent expression of God's fullness, the reflection of the Father. Likewise, from all eternity, the Father and the Son bring forth the Holy Spirit in a perfect act of loving.
At the destined moment in human history, God's self-expression, the Word, immersed himself into man's world. God's inner self-expression now had also become God's outer self-expression. Consequently, the mystery of God becomes the mystery of Christ. In Christ, God tells us about himself, about his inner life, about his plan of creation and redemption. He tells us how Father, Son, and Holy Spirit desire to dwell within us in the most intimate fashion, how they wish to share with us their own life through grace. All this he has accomplished and does accomplish through Christ. St. Paul tells us: "I became a minister of this Church through the commission God gave me to preach among you his word in its fullness, that mystery hidden from ages and generations past but now revealed to his holy ones. God has willed to make known to them the glory beyond price which this mystery brings to the Gentiles—the mystery of Christ in you, your hope of glory. This is the Christ we proclaim while we admonish all men and teach them in the full measure of wisdom, hoping to make every man complete in Christ" (Col 1:25-28).
John 21: 20-25
Peter turned and saw the disciple whom Jesus loved following them—the one who had leant back close to his chest at the supper and had said to him, ‘Lord, who is it that will betray you?’ Seeing him, Peter said to Jesus, ‘What about him, Lord?’ Jesus answered, ‘If I want him to stay behind till I come, what does it matter to you? You are to follow me.’ The rumour then went out among the brothers that this disciple would not die. Yet Jesus had not said to Peter, ‘He will not die,’ but, ‘If I want him to stay behind till I come.’
This disciple is the one who vouches for these things and has written them down, and we know that his testimony is true.
There was much else that Jesus did; if it were written down in detail, I do not suppose the world itself would hold all the books that would be written.
Revelation 21: 1-8
Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; the first heaven and the first earth had disappeared now, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride dressed for her husband. Then I heard a loud voice call from the throne, ‘Look, here God lives among human beings. He will make his home among them; they will be his people, and he will be their God, God–with–them. He will wipe away all tears from their eyes; there will be no more death, and no more mourning or sadness or pain. The world of the past has gone.’
Then the One sitting on the throne spoke. ‘Look, I am making the whole of creation new. Write this, "What I am saying is trustworthy and will come true." Then he said to me, ‘It has already happened. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give water from the well of life free to anybody who is thirsty; anyone who proves victorious will inherit these things; and I will be his God and he will be my son. But the legacy for cowards, for those who break their word, or worship obscenities, for murderers and the sexually immoral, and for sorcerers, worshippers of false gods or any other sort of liars, is the second death in the burning lake of sulphur.’
Revelation 22: 7
I am coming soon!’ Blessed are those who keep the prophetic message of this book.
Revelation 22:12
Look, I am coming soon, and my reward is with me, to repay everyone as their deeds deserve.
Revelation 22: 20
The one who attests these things says: I am indeed coming soon.
Amen; come, Lord Jesus.
