R. Faith
Believing in the seen and unseen
As I have gotten older, I seem to be able to see
if I have enough light, but I can't see as
I once did, to read and play music I need
to have a bright light on and I have no
issue reading the smallest print.
As we live our life according to God's will, as we
seek the truth our vision becomes more
and more the more perfect truth. Jesus tells
us He is the way, the truth and the life.
We do not know all of the hidden mystery
of God's vision – we are seeking to see through
the eyes of the Heavenly Father His Plan for
us.
God gives us the light to see more clearly
the truth. Jesus is the light of the world –
We seek the truth – to know the absolute
truth in Jesus, our Savior.
The more we have Jesus in us, the more we
see about God, the more we can clearly
know Him. Jesus is the Light of the world.
When I receive a gift of insight – it
is immediate, God gives to us this elevated
capability in baptism to know Him. The Holy Spirit
can give us insight into knowing God – It is
like a light that brightly shines and I just
know in a hidden insight, I know more
and more about a hidden mystery.
We seek the beatific vision in heaven. In
heaven we will see and know God.
Faith, hope and love are theological virtues. God
is the author of what He created and He gives us
the grace when we pray to Him for greater
faith, hope and love. In baptism we receive a
sharing in His life. God can give us these insights
into His mysteries here below. God
gives us the grace to increase in the
virtues of faith, hope and love. We must
co-operate with that grace –
When we are in heaven we will see
God face to face. What we know here of
God is only scratching the surface.
When He gave me the song
"Your Presence Pervades My Soul"
R. I felt so weak by the experience He had given
to me. I sat by the side of the road outside
the Faber house where Fr. Carter had said
Mass and I wrote the song, but the
intensity of what I had known from
union with Him left me laid waste
as I wrote –
I find it hard many times to say messages
when Mary or Jesus is really appearing
in great light in the apparition room
in Florida, many times I have to close
my eyes and go deep inside to hear what
They are telling me as They speak in a rosary.
The beauty and intensity of the vision can
leave me listless and the reception of
messages takes its special intensity.
I love to experience this time especially when
all else around me is still and I am
wrapped in this intensity of what I am
seeing or hearing as They speak through
me.
Luke 17: 5-6
The apostles said to the Lord, ‘Increase our faith.’ The Lord replied, ‘If you had faith like a mustard seed you could say to this mulberry tree, “Be uprooted and planted in the sea,” and it would obey you.
Luke 17: 19, 21
And he said to the man, ‘Stand up and go on your way. Your faith has saved you.’
and there will be no one to say, "Look, it is here! Look, it is there!" For look, the kingdom of God is among you.’
Luke 18: 16-17
But Jesus called the children to him and said, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of God belongs. In truth I tell you, anyone who does not welcome the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.’
Luke 18: 27
He replied, ‘Things that are impossible by human resources, are possible for God.’
Luke 18: 41-42
‘What do you want me to do for you?’ ‘Sir,’ he replied, ‘let me see again.’ Jesus said to him, ‘Receive your sight. Your faith has saved you.’
John 4: 14
but no one who drinks the water
that I shall give
will ever be thirsty again:
the water that I shall give
will become a spring of water within,
welling up for eternal life.
R. God gives to us a sharing in His life in baptism.
God wants us to be filled more and more in
His life.
Grace is a fountain in us.
We must grow in the virtues, we pray
for greater maturity to grow to
be as God intends us to be –
to prepare ourselves for eternal life.
Happiness is in a man's heart and soul as
he grows in the virtues. The deadly sins,
pride, greed, envy, wrath, lust,
gluttony,
and sloth,
make man unhappy, deadened to the things
that lead him to God and real happiness.
God created us to know, love and serve Him –
God created us to seek Him –
We are given this sharing in His life in baptism
and we pray for the increase of these
virtues within us –
especially faith, hope and love –
In faith – we reach out to God –
God is our goal – to know Him, that
our mind is seeing more and more the vision
of God.
We seek God, we seek His Plan for us, we seek
to conform our will to His will for us –
We want to know Him.
In baptism our knowing and loving capacity
is elevated –
In faith we know God as God knows Himself.
We want to know more and more of God's inner
life –
Excerpt from Response to God's Love by Fr. Edward Carter, S.J.
... In reference to Christianity, God himself is the ultimate mystery. Radically, God is completely other and transcendent, hidden from man in his inner life, unless he chooses to reveal himself. Let us briefly look at this inner life of God.
The Father, in a perfect act of self-expression, in a perfect act of knowing, generates his son. The Son, the Word, is, then, the immanent expression of God's fullness, the reflection of the Father. Likewise, from all eternity, the Father and the Son bring forth the Holy Spirit in a perfect act of loving.
At the destined moment in human history, God's self-expression, the Word, immersed himself into man's world. God's inner self-expression now had also become God's outer self-expression. Consequently, the mystery of God becomes the mystery of Christ. In Christ, God tells us about himself, about his inner life, about his plan of creation and redemption. He tells us how Father, Son, and Holy Spirit desire to dwell within us in the most intimate fashion, how they wish to share with us their own life through grace. All this he has accomplished and does accomplish through Christ.
A Prayer for Intimacy with the Lamb, the Bridegroom of the Soul
Oh Lamb of God, Who take away the sins of the world, come and act on my soul most intimately. I surrender myself, as I ask for the grace to let go, to just be as I exist in You and You act most intimately on my soul. You are the Initiator. I am the soul waiting Your favors as You act in me. I love You. I adore You. I worship You. Come and possess my soul with Your Divine Grace, as I experience You most intimately.
R. We want to see God more and more as He is and know
more and more the hidden mystery –
this is a gift that God must give to us –
We must thank God as He reveals more and more of
His truth to us, in greater faith – we
believe in Him, we seek Him –
we are filled with joy grasping more
and more of the truth and insight into
the Mystery of God.
We seek more and more the vision of God.
Since the deadly sins –
deadens us – jealousy, pride, envy,
anger, lustfulness, gluttony, greed,
slothfulness –
We want to not have these bad habits
inhibit this gift of being able
to see greater insight into the
truth God wants to impart
to us –
We pray to the Holy Spirit for wisdom to see
God more and more as He is – to
know insight into the hidden mystery
of God's love for us.
We are, indeed, the soul waiting His favor –
We are seeking God –
We are asking God to work in us –
We cannot see with clear eyes as we
will know in heaven, but He
lifts the veil and He shows us
insights into His hidden mysteries –
to see more perfectly as God sees –
even though our vision is
an obscure knowledge – we
know more His truth –
We know more in our pursuit to know
God – which is ultimately that
which can lead us to greater
happiness.
I had some silver plated items when we
were married – years ago –
they were so badly tarnished that
we could hardly polish them –
We need to spread these writings God has given –
so men understand the great gifts
more and more of baptism and our
role in baptism –
Many Catholics do not even understand
that in baptism we receive a sharing
in His life. They call themselves
Catholic and don't even go to Church.
We are to be active in this calling –
To be constantly growing more and more
in that elevated capacity of knowing
and loving we receive in baptism –
We need to be seeking God as our goal –
to know Him, ever more – to know the
truth, ever more, to have greater
insight into the hidden life of
God, through Jesus –
To give our heart to Jesus –
To see His Heart as a symbol of His
love for us –
Because of baptism we can even share
in God's loving activity –
We can love more and more purely –
Oh God what gifts You give us.
We seek our eternal salvation - that
is we HOPE for our eternal
salvation in heaven –
And we want the souls God created
and made for heaven to go there –
We hope for eternal salvation of the souls –
The increase of these virtues in us
are what brings us to greater
happiness –
We were created for this –
Life IN HIM –
We seek to have the presence of the
Trinity in us, that God dwells
in the graced, baptized soul –
We seek the vision of God –
We pray for that increase in faith –
God gives us a sharing in His life and
He feeds that life with the Bread of Life –
with the Word and the Eucharist –
What is life –
Life is rooted in God!!!!
Nicene Creed
I believe in one God,
the Father almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,
of all things visible and invisible.I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ,
the Only Begotten Son of God,
born of the Father before all ages,
God from God, Light from Light,
true God from true God,
begotten, not made,
consubstantial with the Father;
through him all things were made.
For us men and for our salvation
he came down from heaven:and by the Holy Spirit
was incarnate of the Virgin Mary, and became man.For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate;
he suffered death, and was buried.
and rose again on the third day
in accordance of the Scriptures.
He ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory
to judge the living and the dead,
and his kingdom will have no end.I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father and the Son.
who with the Father and the Son
is worshiped and glorified.
who has spoken through the prophets.
I believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church.
I confess one baptism for the forgiveness of sins
and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead
and the life of the world to come. Amen.
Apostles Creed
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He descended into hell; on the third day he arose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven; and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from there he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.
Hebrews 11: 1-40
The exemplary faith of our ancestors
Only faith can guarantee the blessings that we hope for, or prove the existence of realities that are unseen. It is for their faith that our anestors are acknowledged.
It is by faith that we understand that the ages were created by a word from God, so that from the invisible the visible world came to be.
It was because of his faith that Abel offered God a better sacrifice than Cain, and for that he was acknowledged as upright when God himself made acknowledgement of his offerings. Though he is dead, he still speaks by faith.
It was because of his faith that Enoch was taken up and did not experience death: he was no more, because God took him; because before his assumption he was acknowledged to have pleased God. Now it is impossible to please God without faith, since anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and rewards those who seek him.
It was through his faith that Noah, when he had been warned by God of something that had never been seen before, took care to build an ark to save his family. His faith was a judgement on the world, and he was able to claim the uprightness which comes from faith.
It was by faith that Abraham obeyed the call to set out for a country that was the inheritance given to him and his descendants, and that he set out without knowing where he was going. By faith he sojourned in the Promised Land as though it were not his, living in tents with Isaac and Jacob, who were heirs with him of the same promise. He looked forward to the well-founded city, designed and built by God.
It was equally by faith that Sarah, in spite of being past the age, was made able to conceive, because she believed that he who had made the promise was faithful to it.
Because of this, there came from one man, and one who already had the mark of death on him, descendants as numerous as the stars of heaven and the grains of sand on the seashore which cannot be counted.
All these died in faith, before receiving any of the things that had been promised, but they saw them in the far distance and welcomed them, recognising that they were only strangers and nomads on earth. People who use such terms about themselves make it quite plain that they are in search of a homeland. If they had meant the country they came from, they would have had the opportunity to return to it; but in fact they were longing for a better homeland, their heavenly homeland. That is why God is not ashamed to be called their God, since he has founded the city for them.
It was by faith that Abraham, when put to the test, offered up Isaac. He offered to sacrifice his only son even though he had yet to receive what had been prcomised, and he had been told: Isaac is the one through whom your name will be carried on. He was confident that God had the power even to raise the dead; and so, figuratively speaking, he was given back Isaac from the dead.
It was by faith that this same Isaac gave his blessing to Jacob and Esau for the still distant future. By faith Jacob, when he was dying, blessed each of Joseph's sons, bowed in reverence, as he leant on his staff. It was by faith that, when he was about to die, Joseph mentioned the Exodus of the Israelites and gave instructions about his own remains.
It was by faith that Moses, when he was born, was kept hidden by his parents for three months; because they saw that he was a fine child; they were not afraid of the royal edict. It was by faith that, when he was grown up, Moses refused to be known as the son of Pharaoh's daughter and chose to be ill-treated in company with God's people rather than to enjoy the transitory pleasures of sin. He considered that the humiliations offered to the Anointed were something more precious than all the treasures of Egypt, because he had his eyes fixed on the reward. It was by faith that he left Egypt without fear of the king's anger; he held to his purpose like someone who could see the Invisible. It was by faith that he kept the Passover and sprinkled the blood to prevent the Destroyer from touching any of their first-born sons. It was by faith they crossed the Red Sea as easily as dry land, while the Egyptians, trying to do the same, were drowned.
It was through faith that the walls of Jericho fell down when the people had marched round them for seven days. It was by faith that Rahab the prostitute welcomed the spies and so was not killed with the unbelievers.
What more shall I say? There is not time for me to give an account of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, or of David, Samuel and the prophets. These were men who through faith conquered kingdoms, did what was upright and earned the promises. They could keep a lion's mouth shut, put out blazing fires and emerge unscathed from battle. They were weak people who were given strength to be brave in war and drive back foreign invaders. Some returned to their wives from the dead by resurrection; and others submitted to torture, refusing release so that they would rise again to a better life. Some had to bear being pilloried and flogged, or even chained up in prison. They were stoned, or sawn in half, or killed by the sword; they were homeless, and wore only the skins of sheep and goats; they were in want and hardship, and maltreated. They were too good for the world and they wandered in deserts and mountains and in caves and ravines. These all won acknowledgment through their faith, but they did not receive what was promised, since God had made provision for us to have something better, and they were not to reach perfection except with us.
R. Insight into the hidden mystery
of God's love –
Our will must be aligned more and more to
the will of God, as we
live in great love IN HIM.
We want to please God –
We want what God wants!
Fr. Carter says
"If we become aware of the varied
manner in which God manifests his will,
and if we act upon the realization
that our love for God dictates
that we assimilate his will, then
the seeds of mysticism given at baptism
come more and more into bloom.
Our lives will continue to rest upon
solid ground and not upon sand.
We will be implementing the teaching
of Jesus."
Matthew 7: 21
‘It is not anyone who says to me, "Lord, Lord," who will enter the kingdom of Heaven, but the person who does the will of my Father in heaven.
"As we grow in loving conformity to God's will, we increasingly live by the mutual sharing of gifts between God and ourselves. This concept is extremely important for understanding the mystical life. Progress in the mystical life, then, is centered in the increasingly lived realization of this basic fact: as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit have in love given themselves to us, together with a created participation in their life (our life of grace), we too make a love gift of ourselves to them. As this process takes deeper hold of us, God increasingly possesses our persons with all their faculties, and more and more is reflected through our persons. We are indeed finite expressions of the infinite God.
St. John of the Cross tells us how this mutual exchange of gifts between God and the Christian reaches its culminating point in the spiritual marriage—mysticism's highest stage: "It now remains for the said Spiritual Marriage to be made between the soul aforementioned and the Son of God. This is without comparison far greater than the Spiritual Bethrothal because it is a total transformation in the Beloved, wherein on either side there is made surrender by total possession of the one to the other with a certain consummation of union of love . . . ."4

Excerpt from the Mass Book
T
HE EARTH STOPPED AND TOUCHED HEAVENI long to unite in the deepest union with Him in the Eucharist. I long for the Mass. I long for Thee, oh God. My every moment, I join as I did to You December 15 under the cross, where I felt Your presence. You whisked me away, and I was totally absorbed in that moment of celestial union with You. For that time, I existed only in You, in the deepest union, and I was in this moment existing in You. The earth stopped, and I touched the heavens, all my bodily cares were existent in You. I existed in Your Divinity, my being was in You. There was no desire or wish or wanting, for in that moment, I had all I wanted in You. I was satisfied and wanted nothing but to remain in that embrace. You were the Being, and my being existed in You, but I was only as I was in You - merged in You, knowing and being in Your Divinity and being so full as to feel complete in myself.
You are so enormous, and You surrounded me in a burning embrace, the presence of red fire. I was not little, or "nothing", but existed in this enormous power and being so complete!
I touched eternity, and in that embrace, I knew all the waiting was worth the glory. You enveloped my being, and I was truly merged in the Divine Presence. I was merged in Your being. I existed IN You, with You, in the highest union with You, although I knew I was still distinct from You.
I was fused and absorbed in You, feeling complete and satisfied. To describe this union is far beyond any work of my pen and paper. I pray for the reader of this page to receive the grace to share this experience with Him, I will now live for this union-to be forever merged In Him, to be One in Him, to reach higher perfection as I exist in Him, for He takes the lowly and gives to them a sharing in Himself. He merges with us and we exist in Him. The word "in" - I could write pages about. I long for the deepest union with Him, where I am swept up in the heavenly embrace of the Divine God, and I am IN Him.
This is heaven on earth: to be merged as one with Divinity, although remaining distinct from God, to take our feeble hearts, our lowly status and to unite ourselves with the Divine, Almighty, powerful God and in this union to be meshed with Him, that His power dominates and our humanity reaches its heights of fulfillment in this union, in this oneness with Him.
The word I have looked for is "oneness." I understand some of the meaning of the words "One in Him." Oneness is the word to describe this union of our humanity with His Divinity. The depth to which we could meditate on oneness with God is incomprehensible. In that moment, the earth stood still, and He, my Divine Lover, the Bridegroom of my soul, took me to Himself, and I knew the embrace of the Divine God.
Nothing on the face of this earth can describe our union with Divinity. Oh, good God, that creatures are so ungrateful regarding Your divine love. I am so sorry. Let me help make reparation to Your adorable Heart. Please unite with me now that I may more deeply love Thee.
Oh, Divine Lover of my soul, let me help make reparation to Your adorable Heart for the neglect and indifference against You.
Song from Jesus: I come to you with greatest love. I am your loving Savior. I am your God. I died for you. I come to you this day.
He allowed me to experience such pain in my heart - wanting Him so badly, so many times-and then on Dec. 15, 1995 - He gave Himself to me in the deepest union.
Nothing satisfies the soul but Him. He wants the nuns and priests to love Him. He chose them to spread His love.
Souls are hungry. They will only be fed with His burning love. Priests need to talk about Jesus' love for us from the pulpit. Priests need hearts burning for love of Jesus. This will feed the hungry souls - lip service love doesn't do it.
He is alive today. He is a Person. He wants us to love Him.
